going to be our debit because the dca blur is in the positive forms here so

just look receive cash getting cash getting money we know cash is an asset

we received it so it's going up so that's going to be our debit cash is our

debit how much cash did we get this payment from customer I kill for $2,000

we got $2,000 that's our debit cash $2,000 receive cash as payment from

customer okay so there's half MIT nobody that we've already got this done on

account for $2,000 so now he paid it to me so that means he owed me the money if

he owed me the money it was an account receivable so on account on account

receivable on account on account receivable let's just say that's all

that was on the accounts receivable was $2,000 so someone owed us $2,000 he they

paid us the $2,000 so that means what is owed to us is nothing so our account

receivable went down $2,000 we know from before that account receivable is an

asset because like in place of cash and cash is our ass that we love cash so you

know that it's an that we know that accounts receivable is

an asset and it went down because they paid us what they owed us the $2,000 so

if an asset is negative that's a credit all right so if an assets a negative

it's a credit so we're going to credit accounts receivable for how much for

$2,000 it went down for $2,000 all right look so there's this is this

our journal entry debit cash 2,000 credit accounts receivable 2,000 cash is

an asset it's a debit so that means the asset is going up accounts receivable

for 2000s or credit accounts receivable is an asset and since accounts

receivable is an asset on the credit side that means it is going down debit

cash asset going up a credit accounts receivable asset going down up down up

up down that's kind of how I see it's like any huge does this work

receive cash as payment from customer on account for $2,000 receive cash $2,000

so that means cash going up debit it boom from customer on account on account

let's see so he paid me so the account that must have been must about accounts

receivable because he paid me if it was an accounts payable to paid him so must

have been accounts receivable great so accounts receivable we already have our

debit so I need a credit accounts receivables are credit we got $2,000 so

it must have lessened what he owed us right so the accounts receivable

accounts receivable account must go down that means it's going to be a credit and

of course the amounts equal 2,000 equals 2,000

boom check done green okay now this kind of work is tricks we have our journal

entry so let's answer the question does the transaction increase assets does it

Recently our family dog of 10 years passed away so I haven�t been doing as much research

as of late.

It�s been difficult but I did scroll around here and there and found a couple of things

that might be of interest.

As I mentioned in a previous article the disclosures recently are becoming more and more bold and

certain and less about supposing or asking questions.

The first one is an article from Futurism.com about the United States� space squadron

that is prepared to go to battle to defend US interests in space.

Of course there will be no invasion of ETs as this has already happened several times

in our history and the Cabal would like to do a false one in order to remain in power,

which they won�t be able to do.

�Right now, somewhere in the Rocky Mountains of the American West, there are two teams

of Air Force specialists preparing to defend America�s interests � in space.

They are the 26th Space Aggressor Squadron (26th SAS) and the 527th Space Aggressor Squadron

(527th SAS), and their job consists of training the rest of the military for any possible

contingency involving extraterrestrial combat and creating strategies to defend the security

of any U.S. interests in space.

In other words, they play the role of the bad guys on a potentially intergalactic scale,

�attacking� and provoking U.S. troops in mock space battles � as foreign countries

and any other hostile power looking to threaten America in space.�

(DailyMail) �They were hauling a big creature�: New footage reveals what Deputy Sheriff said

he saw at Roswell, in UFO mystery that has baffled experts and conspiracy theorists for

70 years

The DailyMail features some footage that was allegedly taken from that day that shows the

body of one of the crash victims.

I couldn�t embed the video from the article but I did find it on YouTube.

Apparently this footage was leaked to a magazine company in New Zealand:

�I saw aliens and Roswell UFO� CIA agent in shock deathbed confession on Area 51

�His most shocking claim was to have been taken inside Area 51 to see a variety of UFOs

allegedly recovered by the US military.

These were said to include a flying saucer said to have crash landed at Roswell, New

Mexico, in July 1947.�

It appears the majority believe this story, out of 32,000 voters as of the time of the

below survey, most said yes:

The next story is more personal as it has the testimony of the former Governor of Arizona.

And I actually work with someone who saw the Phoenix Lights happen in March of 1997.

She said it was huge, slow and completely silent..

- Today in military history, 1942.

The Battle of Midway ends,

turning the tide of the war for the Americans

against the Japanese in the Pacific.

It had been six months since the attack on Pearl Harbor,

and during that time, the Japanese Navy

had been nearly invincible.

The United States, however, had become an increasing threat.

The Japanese admiral Isoroku Yamamoto

decided to strike a blow against the US Navy

before it could become a serious rival.

He set an intricate trap

near the strategic island of Midway.

Unfortunately for the Japanese,

US code breakers uncovered the plot and responded in force.

On June 3, the Japanese fleet was spotted

right where the Americans expected them to be.

What followed was four days of fighting,

one of the most decisive battles in the Pacific.

After crippling the Japanese fleet

by destroying four of its carriers,

the Americans were able to finally defeat Yamamoto

and level the playing field in the Pacific theater.

But the Naval counteroffensive would continue

until Japan's surrender three years later.

In a series of tweets and emails Coleman sent to Al Gore and various Democratic supporters

and organizations, he called out climate alarmists with a barrage of facts based on actual science

and not wishful thinking

As it turns out, if you chart global temperatures back into the �70s, there are absolutely

no signs of global warming.

There�s been less than one degree temperature change since 1978 and no warming to speak

of since 1998.

So where is the government getting their information from?

It turns out that the government has been manipulating climate computer models.

This means that the American tax payers are being charged $4.7 billion a year in taxes

that are being used to fund organizations that carry out meaningless studies based on

bad science.

Basically, the American people are paying fake scientists to lie to them.

Government actions to counter �carbon pollution� have raised the cost of fuel, electricity

and food by an average of $1000 per year for an average American family of four.

If that family of four would only open their Internet browsers and see that the Antarctic

Sea is at an all time high and sea levels are rising at an �alarming� rate of around

6 inches per century, they would feel outraged that they�re being taken advantage of, at

least one would hope.

How to Use a Facebook Canvas Ad to Boost Restaurant Sales - Duration: 13:06.

Today I'm going to use a Facebook Canvas Ad to increase sales at my restaurant.

Hey everybody, my name is Jim and I'm a co-owner of a casual fine-dining

restaurant called Chef's Menu. For many small businesses marketing and

advertising plays an important role in their success. At Chef's Menu we find

that social media & online advertising are a cost-effective way to promote our

restaurant. In my last video I looked at setting up a Facebook canvas. In this

video I'm going to use that canvas to set up a marketing campaign to promote

our lobster dinner. All right, so we set up the canvas on our Facebook home page

here under "Publishing Tools", and then we select the "Canvas" option. This lists

all the canvases that we currently have set up on our Facebook page. The one

we set up in our last video was this "Lobster Dinner". So we can click on

view you can see that we've got the right canvas here. So that's the canvas

that we set up. Now to use this in a marketing campaign we have a couple

options: we can we can either create a page post, which we would do from the

Canvas Builder screen. So page post and then we can type in some text, so "Check out our Lobster Dinner".

Then we can publish it so this will create an actual page post in

the newsfeed on our Facebook page. Then we can promote that post as we

would normally promote a post. That's not what I'm going to do, what

I'm going to do is go over to the account manager over here our ads

manager for the Chefs Menu marketing page and you can see I have a quite a

few campaign set up here. I usually the break mine down into either brand awareness

or reach. To set up the campaign for our lobster dinner, under the

campaigns tab we simply create a new campaign. This brings up our screen

to set up a campaign. At the campaign level we select our object. So we have

several choices there's brand awareness, reach - so as I said reach will try to

show your ads to as many people as possible were brand awareness tries to

increase the awareness of your brand. There's also other considerations - video

views for example if we were promoting a video we could that option as our

objective. I'm going to go with reach because I want to get this out as many

people as I can. We select the reach

objective and we give it a name so I'm going to name this campaign "Reach

Lobster Dinner June 8".

Then we continue so that's create the campaign

now we're into the screen where we're going to set up our ad sets.

So I like to name the ads, I usually name it the day that I'm creating it.

And then I'll

just call it "Lobster Dinner June 8".

So that's the ad set name. We can then

select the page that we're going to promote this on which is our Chef's Menu

page and then we scroll down to set up the audience. We can either create we

can either sort of target everyone so right now the default is everyone

Canada so our potential reaching about 23 million people, if we just go with

that setting then Facebook's going to try to show this ad to anyone in Canada

which is far too broad for what we want to do because you know we're just a

local restaurant. So what I normally do is I have a couple saved audiences that

I've already set up so I'm going to use the "Chef's Menu 32 miles". So basically

this will target people within a 32 mile radius of the restaurant. So we

select that and we see that that's going to reach around three hundred and thirty

thousand people which is about right for our city that this restaurant is located

in. The next section is placement so if we go to the "Edit Placement" button to

open that up we can see that Facebook gives us lots of options on where this

ad will show up. The first is device type: we can target mobile only or

desktop. We can also target the different areas of Facebook so we can ask just to

have our ads show up in the news feed or we can have it on the right hand column

you know or other options we can also have the ads show up in Instagram. So you

can deselect areas if you only want your ads to show-up at certain areas. I'm just going to

go with "Automatic Ad Placement" and let Facebook decide where it's going to show

this ad. Now this is a canvas ad so Facebook's really only going to show it

on mobile devices and it's only going to

show up in the Facebook application on mobile devices. It won't show up on

Instagram. So we'll leave that as automatic. The next option is our daily

budget and just set up whatever budget you want. You can either go with a daily

budget or a lifetime budget I'm going to just run a daily budget of $10 a day.

What I always do is I always schedule my ads. So I always set a start and end date

that way I'm sure that the ads only going to run for a fixed amount of time. So

we'll start it today it's a half hour so start that at 10:00 a.m.. But I want to

give it an end date now this campaign is going to be for lobster dinner which is

going to take place on June the 8th so there's no sense running the ad after June 8th.

We'll set it to June the 8th at 7 p.m.. So we're going to run for just a couple

days here. It's going to be optimized for reach. The frequency I'm going to...

It's at 7, the ads only gonna run to two days I'm just going to change

that to two. So this is how many, how often it will show this ad to the

same person. If this was ad was going to run over a longer period of time and

reduce the frequency to every two days then every two days our ad would have the

potential of being shown to a single individual.

Bid amount: I'm just going to

go with the automatic. And leave all the other options as they're set up there

just to their defaults. So we just click continue and that will create the ad set.

The final part is to set up the ads. So again we're going to give

it a name I'm going to call this "June 8th", actually, "Canvas | June 8

Lobster Dinner". So that'll be the name of our ads in the ad set. So again it's

asking us..., we have a choice, we can either create a new ad or we can use an

existing post. So if we had set up a post from the Canvas Builder, as we saw earlier

then I could come over to this "Use existing post" and we can select from posts that

are eligible on our news feed. So we can pick a

post that's already set up and use the ad to promote that post. I'm going to

create a new post. So we'll just go with "Create New".

We Have a choice of which pages so we're just going to go to our Chef's Menu Facebook page.

It also gives us the option of going to the Instagram account that I

have linked to this. So for a lot of ads they'll show up in Instagram as well. For

a canvas it's not going to show up so I'm just going to leave that once I

select the canvas option down below, Facebook will remove that

placement because it can't show canvases on the Instagram feed right now.

So now the format. So I'm going to leave this as "Single Image" and we'll

come back and talk about that in a second, but the next section is "Full

Screen Experience" and this is where we tell it that we're going to use a canvas

ad,so if I check that box then I get a drop-down where I can select all the

canvases that I have that are eligible for ads and I'm going to pick this

"Lobster Dinner June 8th" as my option. And see here it's given me this warning that

it can't show... that it will only show on Facebook feeds in the mobile placement

so it's going to remove any extra placements where it can't show this ad.

So I'm going to say remove placements. If we scroll back up to this pages you see

that that Instagram option is now gone. So we're going to go with a "Full Screen

Experience" and for this one we're going to go with a "Single Image". What's

going to happen is Facebook's going to create ads that will have an image

associated with them and when the user taps on that image it will then open the

Facebook canvas. So we can have a number of images and create a number of

different ads. So as you can see Facebook has just grabbed our cover image from

our Facebook page to use in our ads. I'm going to actually change that I've got

some images that I want to use that are more associated with this lobster dinner.

So from over here we just click "add more images" and if I browse out to a folder

where I've got some images set up ... just taking a second here to remember where I

got that ...

So I've already created these artwork ads that I'm going to use. I've got five

different versions of this art working. Let me just bring those in and I'm going to

delete out the default one here. So what I've done is I've imported five

different images and Facebook is giving you a recommendation on what these image

sizes should be. Facebook has taken those five

images and it's basically going to create five different ads you can see

down here where it says add previews it says four or five, so I can kind of

scroll through and you can see down on the bottom here that the image is

changing. So I've got five different images... you know some of them are just

I've just changed the color background behind the text just to see what impact

that has, some of them the image is completely different, so that sort of

shows the dinner being plated and then this one shows the lobster being taken

out of a boiling pot of water. So I'm going to go with those five different

ads and Facebook will try... Facebook will show those ads to people in their

newsfeed and it will determine which ad seems to work best for us and then it

will start promoting that add more more frequently than the other ones. So we're

almost done here the next section is to give this some text. For the

headline I'm going to call this "Chef's Menu

Lobster Dinner". And then I can give it some text down here, a bit more of a

description. So I'm going to call this

"$29 Lobster Dinner at Chef's Menu".

In fact, I'm going to put the date: "$29 June 8th Lobster Dinner at Chef's Menu".

So we'll give it some

sort of description.We see that it's updated on the right-hand side

here we've got the title as shown down here and then the text is shown at the

top there. So we can scroll through the ads now for some reason it doesn't

update the text on the the sample ads but it does once it creates the ads, it's

just, there must be a bug in their little display here. So you have to be on the

first... first of whatever ads and then you'll see your text changes.

Last section down here is this tracking pixel, so I've got this linked to a tracking

pixel so we've got a pixel installed on our website on our Chef's Menu

website so when people go to that website, Facebook can track that

they've been there and then it can use that to target ads to those people.

I've just got that turned on.

So once we're ready we can place the order and

Facebook will go off and then create a series of ad based on those images and

they'll all take the user to our canvas.

We'll see over here now that it's actually created a number of

ads. And we'll just refresh that so there we go we've got all five

of the ads have been created and the image you could see the image is

slightly different over here. They're all scheduled to run, a couple more still

pending review - it usually takes a few minutes or an hour or so. Once these

are ready to run once the scheduled time hits, Facebook will begin to show these

ads to eligible people in their Facebook news feed on their mobile

devices.

So that's how I set up a Facebook Canvas Ad to promote our

Hello, my name is Raffaele Terracciano.

I learned Catalan at a time in my life when I didn't have as much time as before because

of my job, and I had realized that I had lost my German almost completely, so I decided

to start again learning languages.

I decided to start with Catalan because I already spoke Spanish, Italian and French,

so I could already understand roughly the news on the Internet, and also because at

that time I wanted to read the books of Carlos Ruiz Zafón, the Catalan writer, and so I

read "The Shadow of the Wind" and his other books in Catalan.

I did not find many books about Catalan, but the truth is that I did not have to study

it for long, because of course, just reading news and books, and listening to Radio Catalunya,

and watching TV3, day after day it became very easy to begin to understand this language

and even start to speak it.

For me it has always been very interesting to speak Catalan and see the surprise in the

eyes of Catalans when they realize that I speak it, the truth is no one expects that.

I speak Catalan whenever I can, but I do not have many opportunities to do so, which is

a shame because I love the whole Catalan culture, and in particular I love Barcelona, which

I think is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

I have been in Barcelona 4-5 times and I always try to go back, because with its history and

architecture, but above with its culture and its proud spirit it is always a city where

I feel very at ease.

We have created a series of events

That go from recognising the problem, analysing it

develop it, identify key points

and then, begin to ask

what action steps will we begin to take

and then we did the workshop

where we said "what should we do?"

because I think that was the inflection point

where we began developing

what was really the pilot project, which was the action

The name says it all

Noisebox - we we're saying that it's

the 'box of noise', no?

I think metaphorically its a way of realising

what we listen to and hear

The proposition is to use the box

that shows you in a very simple way

just with a button. you only have to press a button

and then that button is connected to a sensor

that we've been using for a while

it will capture the sound, and then will come out visually

the synthesis of the sound that the sensor captured

is represented in colours, so that it's understood, even by children

it's really a 'beta' action

and interactive 'beta' action

and with that people will participate

by writing around it, about their experience

what sounds that they'd rather be listening to

and the sounds are listening to

and in the end it will be a collective work

it's a tool. i think that the noisebox is the same

as when we did our first workhops

the ones that made you think

I truly became aware

of what I hear, feel and how I interpret it

it makes you think and it makes you talk

of something that perhaps you have not though about before

or only thought about, only when you are at home

and it annoys you to listen to noise, and you get stressed

thanks to the fact we have this more analytical and scientific part

where we can measure certain things

and gives us certain results

in which we can say

Hey! I think here we are going crazy

It can be one or one hundred people

and everyone has the same opportunity to press the button

to recognise the noise and become aware

to participate in the issue

for people to understand and to ask the same questions

that we asked ourselves in the first Making Sense workshops

of differentiating the difference between sound and noise

to know that there are things you can change

and how you can work together

this is something we have to think about

and begin to develop solutions for noise

and the thing for that to happen is

to become aware, of how much are we a part of that problem?

whatever that problem is

That's what Making Sense is doing well, you know?

It's building conscience here first

because for everyone is a problem and a solution at the same time

Hi there, my name is Raffaele Terracciano. And I speak Italian because of course I am an Italian

native speaker, so there is no need to explain how I learned it…

I decided to start this adventure, and launch Rafter's Languages because

I always had a passion for languages. I always like to learn new ones, so

I thought it might be a good idea to talk about my passion and share

my progress, and maybe even give some advice.

Truth is, the idea to launch this blog came to me because the most frequent question I get

is "How many languages do you speak?" … and the second is "How can you that?". And since I think

I'm not special, and that everyone can learn languages, I want to try to prove it,

or at least try to help those who want to learn them.

So, on Rafter's Languages I will talk about languages. The languages I have learned, the ones that

I would like to learn in the future, but most of all I will talk about the method I use to learn them.

The idea is to share tips that I believe can help you learn

languages. At first, the content will be in Italian, English and Spanish, that is the languages

that I speak better, so that everybody learning English, Italian or Spanish,

or maybe even foreigners learning Italian, can maybe do so also through my blog posts,

which will be translated in 3 languages, and my videos, that will always have subtitles in

the same 3 languages.
