Waching daily Dec 1 2018

The bizarre, hilarious, and box office-destroying Napoleon Dynamite turned its cast of unknowns

into comedy icons overnight.

Here's what the quirky guys and gals in the "Vote for Pedro" shirts look like today.

Jon Heder (Napoleon)

Of the eclectic members of Napoleon Dynamite's cast, Jon Heder definitely got the biggest

bounce from its unexpected success.

"You know, there's like a buttload of gangs at this school.

This one gang kept wanting me to join because I'm pretty good with a bo staff."

In the blink of an eye he went from earning $1,000 for his work on the shoot to finding

himself a comedy brand, even taking home the 2005 MTV Movie Award for breakthrough male

performance and for best musical performance.

"Do the chickens have large talons?"

"Do they have what?"

"Large talons!"

"I don't understand a word you just said."

While his career may not have reached the heights some predicted, he's worked steadily

over the years, in big-budget comedies like The Benchwarmers and Blades of Glory, and

in a slew of voice work for animated movies, shows, and video games, like Disney's Epic

Mickey 2.

Even if he didn't pan out as the next Will Ferrell, he's found a way to keep those tots

flowing.

Efren Ramirez (Pedro)

Speaking of "Vote for Pedro," actor Efren Ramirez is going to have people screaming

that at him for the rest of his life.

That's what happens when you're the living embodiment of the most popular comedy catchphrase

of the 2000s.

Still, despite this career conundrum, Ramirez has refused to be typecast as Napoleon's best

bud.

In fact, he's worked steadily over the years, popping up as everything from Kenny Powers'

neighbor Catuey on Eastbound and Down, to ranch hand Esteban in the Spanish-language

comedy Casa de mi Padre.

He's been in not one, but two Crank movies, and even reprised the role of Pedro for Fox's

short-lived animated adaptation of Napoleon Dynamite.

When he's not acting, Ramirez keeps busy as an in-demand DJ.

Haylie Duff (Summer)

Thanks to her sister Hillary's early success, Haylie Duff was already in-demand by the time

she landed the part of Preston Senior High School's resident mean girl, Summer Wheatley,

with the cast of Napoleon Dynamite.

Since her failed campaign for class president, Duff has kept busy, starring in a never-ending

string of TV movies like Backwoods, Love Takes Wing, and My Nanny's Secret.

She also hosted the reality show Legally Blonde: The Musical – The Search for Elle Woods,

along with her own show for the Cooking Channel, Real Girl's Kitchen, based on her blog of

the same name.

These days, it seems she's taking a break from the small screen, as she's been busy

running her own children's fashion line, Little Moon Society.

Tina Majorino (Deb)

If not for Napoleon Dynamite, Tina Majorino may never have acted again.

After years working as a successful child actor, Majorino was in the middle of a five-year

sabbatical when Jared and Jerusha Hess' script came her way.

As she told Bello Magazine in 2014, the second she read it, she knew she needed the part

of Deb.

"Now, just imagine you're weightless, in the middle of the ocean, surrounded by tiny little

seahorses."

And the rest is history.

Majorino has since gone on to enjoy an accomplished career, playing lovable techie extraordinaire

Mac on Veronica Mars, Special Agent Genny Shaw on Bones, and Dr. Heather Brooks on Grey's

Anatomy.

In 2017, she was tapped for a recurring role as a chemist named Florence in CBS's Scorpion.

Unfortunately, the show was cancelled a year later.

Jon Gries (Uncle Rico)

Jon Gries was one of the most accomplished actors going into Napoleon Dynamite.

Still, Uncle Rico proved to be his definitive role, beating out the Wolfman from Monster

Squad and Lazlo from Real Genius.

"How much you wanna bet I could throw a football over them mountains?"

Since his turn as the Uncle from Hell who could throw footballs over mountains, Gries

has worked nonstop, bouncing back and forth between dramas and comedies.

Yup, he's graced our screens in everything from FX's intense The Bridge to the surreal

Dream Corp LLC for Adult Swim.

He also played baddie Ben Linus' papa on ABC's Lost, and buddied up to Liam Neeson's pissed-off

daddy in all three Taken movies.

Diedrich Bader (Rex)

Diedrich Bader was coming off a nine-year run on The Drew Carey Show when he joined

the Napoleon Dynamite cast.

"OK, now watch this: I'm just going to break the wrist and walk away.

Break the wrist, walk away."

"Jeez."

"Okay, it's just that simple."

As he told Collider:

"[Napoleon Dynamite is] still to this day, one of the two top scripts I've ever read,

the other one being the script for Office Space."

Since his one-day shoot as dojo guru Rex, Bader has kept awfully busy.

He's popped up on everything from Curb Your Enthusiasm to Veep.

When he's not in front of the camera, he's providing voices for some of your favorite

animated shows, like Gravity Falls and Bojack Horseman.

To top it all off, he's now starring as Greg, the lovable husband to Katy Mixon's character

in ABC's American Housewife.

Aaron Ruell (Kip)

Aaron Ruell made his screen debut as babe magnet brother Kip in Napoleon Dynamite.

"Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day.

Besides, we both know I'm training to become a cage fighter."

It launched his career, but not in the way most would expect.

According to Rangefinder Magazine, Ruell took still photographs for the Napoleon Dynamite

PR campaign because the project had no money to hire someone else, and that got him the

attention of big-league advertising agencies.

Fast forward a bit, and today he enjoys a career as an accomplished photographer and

commercial director.

On top of that, his exhibit, Some Photos, has had gallery showings in Paris, Milan,

Buenos Aires, and New Orleans.

Sure is a big step up from getting slapped in the face.

Shondrella Avery (Lafawnduh)

Kip knew his girlfriend Lafawnduh was the best thing that'd ever happened to him.

"I'm 100 percent positive she's my soulmate."

Well, Shondrella Avery, the woman who brought Lafawnduh to life, feels the same way about

the part, telling Paper Magazine:

"This movie was the best thing that's ever happened to my career."

She was a cast member on the comedy prank show Girls Behaving Badly and was still working

at the Hilton Hotels Corporation when she got the part of Kip's online lover.

She remembers the casting director telling her, "If you can act as good as you look,

then you're going to Utah."

After the movie became a sensation, she booked parts in big-budget fare like Deja Vu and

End of Watch.

But these days, she's largely focusing on her advocacy work, most notably her position

as a board member for the California chapter of the Sickle Cell Disease Foundation.

Sandy Martin (Grandma)

Sandy Martin was already an accomplished actress and producer by the time she found her way

into the world of Napoleon Dynamite.

Playing Napoleon's llama-loving grandma, Martin's character was short on screen time but still

managed to make a lasting impression.

"We're getting a little low on steaks, so I got Lyle coming over tomorrow to take care

of it."

"Well, what's there to eat?"

"Knock it off, Napoleon!

Make yourself a dang quesadilla!"

Over the last decade and a half, Martin's career has hit a hot streak, playing Mac's

grumpy mom on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Mormon Brother Selma on HBO's Big Love, and

Momma Dixon in the acclaimed Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

INTERVISTA ai PRIMAVERA del AC MILAN: Riccardo TONIN | Interview - Duration: 3:35.

Hello guys today we are at Milanello with Riccardo Tonin, one of the boys of the Primavera team of Milan.

Riccardo, tell us a little about who you are, how you play here, your role, in short, help those who look at us to learn something more about you!

It's the fourth year I'm here at Milan, I'm an attacker and my main feature is speed.

For this reason, my choice is the adidas X, which perfectly match my needs in the field

I have been using Adidas for over 3 years and I have tried different models, but I have been using X for over a year now

You told us you've been using adidas for over three years ...

Yes, I used it even before having a supply…

Great! And do you remember any particular shoe that had impressed you?

Look .. I found myself very well with Predator, at the time still the model was called "ACE", but I was very well!

Then growing up, look at your characteristics and choose based on those and I went on X

Here with us we have the shoes you used today in training, the X of "Spectral Mode" one of the recent colors.

And 'the version with laces, and we would like to know if it is your choice and if you've ever tried the laceless version?

Yes, to this day I have always tried the version with laces, but from the "Initiator Pack" color I used the X18 + laceless

Is your request? Or also adidas want you to try laceless?

togheter! In the past i have tried laceless but now i think i switch definitely with this version of X

We also talk a little about the choices on the soleplate, according to your role do you prefer FG or SG?

Usually I prefer to play Fg (the classic 13) also for the role. Then it is clear that the weather affects and therefore if necessary SG

Now we say goodbye to Richard, we hope to bring him luck and we remind you to leave a video like if you liked it and to subscribe to the YouTube channel to not miss any content!

Bye Guys see you soon!

He Went From $0 To $15,000 In One Month - How My Student Crushed His Ecommerce Goals - Duration: 5:21.

Hey what is up guys it's Rafael here your seven figure ecommerce coach, and today I have a different kind of setup here

because I'm travelling in Spain but what we're gonna talk about today is how one student in my inner circle program went from zero to

$15,000 in a single month

With what I'm teaching and what we're doing in the program let's get into it

So this student actually started dabbling in e-commerce about two three months ago and was kind of lost, he

had like a little bit of info overload which is where a lot of students that come to me actually have they they see a

bunch of courses that see a bunch of videos but they don't really know

where to go and where to start so he started his own niche

Company so his own niche store and what I loved about him is that

the store that he started is a niche that he's very passionate about and that he has a lot of experience in so

what I want to

Emphasize here is that

when you create a new store and you want it to be successful as soon as possible you really have to know a little bit

About the niche or at least be passionate about that

Niche, I see a lot of people starting up you know fishing stores and outdoor gear stores and

Traveling things when they're not really passionate about that and this stood in particular the niche that he chose he was passionate about that so

We got on a couple consultation calls he went through my course and then he started learning

Step by step start setting up some Facebook Ads and slowly slowly slowly he started

Growing and getting better as you can see in the screenshot here you can see the little nice

progression like slowly slowly slowly we had about three consultation

calls right before Black Friday to get him ready for that

awesome weekend as you can see right there he made a little bit over five thousand five hundred dollars in

four days from Black Friday all the way to Cyber Monday so yeah absolutely crushed it like

Absolutely crushed it starting from zero you can see that amazing progression

I absolutely love that chart just because it goes to say

How much progress you can make in such a little time

when you choose the right program so other things I can say about this is that the traffic

driven

was both Facebook and Google so he's actually combining different sources of traffic so Facebook Instagram Google so another lesson here is don't

Rely on one type of traffic if you're just driving Facebook Ads you can't really expect it to apps we crush it

because you're not driving different types of traffic you're not driving different types of audiences he did a lot of

Retargeting so retargeting was a huge huge

Huge play on this so I definitely recommend if you have no idea

Where to start first start out with Facebook Ads do some Google advertising Instagram influencers but

Also retarget all that traffic that you're getting if you're doing like SEO traffic I just had someone in my private Facebook group asked

about free traffic

She's getting like five hundred clicks a day

And she's not getting sales what should she do with that traffic we target it with face against

Retargeting right it's it's all about combining all these different types of traffic and traffic sources

So yeah this student absolutely crushed it I have an old student right now who's almost

Crossing ten thousand dollars a month and have another student was doing consistently about eight or nine

Thousand so the program is absolutely killing it we're we're growing every single

Day so if you feel interested in a program seeing what's included check out the first thing in the description

Down below so another thing I want to do

Another thing I want to say is that this student was a little bit

Demotivated at the beginning of the month so another lesson from this I'm for having this student grow so fast is that he was actually

demotivated at the beginning of the month thinking that there was too much information overload he didn't know what to do and

he

Was feeling down he was feeling like he wasn't like worthy or he wasn't going to reach any goal that he put for himself for

This month and he ended up. Absolutely crushing whatever we thought that he was gonna do

So that just goes to show that if you actually commit and you work and you focus on?

what you have to do and the right steps and the right processes to

get to where you want to go it's a hundred percent possible for you or for anybody else to

actually achieve that what you want to do if you want to see a little bit more improve you can check out that link in

The description I show like real student testimonials and real student successes right there that you can see step by step

Everything everything everything that my students have done

inside the program

But yeah that's essentially it guys those are the lessons from this is one just don't give up if you're feeling kind of down you're

Feeling kind of scared that you won't reach your goals it's all about implementing the right processes and committing to action committing to really

pushing and pushing and pushing until you get there and then combining different sources of traffic and

Choosing something that you're passionate about that you really like I mean this student is really passionate about an itch and I think that's one

of the keys that made him so successful

Apart from me helping him out in the program

I think that's fun mating so you know you grow so fast and he's

Gonna, keep going probably next month it's gonna be like 25 30 km unthe

Just because he's so passionate about this nation about the store in this business and he was to grow it to the next level

yeah

Thank you so much for watching if you like this video please give me a like below subscribe to this channel and if you want

to check out the inner circle probably coaching program check it out in the first link in the

Description thank you for watching I will see you in the next one

Divercity Podcast | Arun Nadarasa ft. Rohit Raj | Part 2 - Duration: 15:55.

That's really futuristic.

Thank you.

Umm.

There was a book which came that really inspired me by Napoleon Hill - "Think and Grow Rich"

and I Read that book and that totally changed my perception towards life and The way

I saw everything and that was like "Think and Grow Rich".

Then you are.

your one of the book which is in the pipeline "Krump and Grow Rich"

Tell us more about it.

Arun: So it would be sharing my success principle on entrepreneurship on business and how to

go to a certain level of income and then putting it into a books format so that's the inspiration

behind it.

"Think and Grow Rich" is all about the mindset on Achieving goals and I am using

the same principle but using Krump terminology to make it easier for

a Krumper to understand What I am trying to convey.

Rohit: You also said that you are going to release 1000 videos, 1000 videos with different

uh Non Krump music Different style of Clothing different kind of songs and you are going

to release and you have already done a pretty

good job with that Close to 90 videos close to 100 videos i think, so what is that idea

why do you want to do that tell us More about that Specific idea, what are you targeting

with that.

Arun: So right now there is a Krump community and outside to that is the non-krumpers, and

for me to grow the Krump community in UK I need to be able to tap the non Krump market

to act as a bridge I need to be able to bring something That is compelling enough for the

non-krumpers to slowly come into the Krump community.

Having Krump Music is not enough as we're already hitting the ceiling point, so

now that's what I'm trying to use different blends Krump with Bollywood, Krump with Bhangra,

Krump with Kuthu dance so that I do choreographic videos and people can see they like the Element

that they are familiar without knowing there is Krump in it and once they do attend the

classes when I do run them, then I can slowly softly say that some of it is Krump, Ohh What

is Krump, can you teach me?

but the entry-point are those choreographic videos

and My challenge is to do 1000 Krump videos Non Krump music by the end of this year and

I have done 90 so far I Mean so far I did 20 Krump videos in one day All one minute

each freestyle, in freestyle music So that kind of develop my freestyle

for my choreographic content The comparison from my first video to 90th video Is a big

one I have improved so much and from the first one to the 1000 one I know You have a breaking

point.

I have been receiving good feedback from my Instagram videos.

Rohit: That's amazing, that's a Great thing.

Tell us a little bit about Krump Professional Network.

Arun: Krump Professional network is a mastermind group So the mastermind group is a group of

futuristic Krumpers, Krump Entrepreneurs coming together, think of it as a "Think Tank"

For the development of Krump worldwide.

So initially the Krump professional network Is made up of desi buck members It's the mastermind

group, but then through the courses which I am releasing in the Krump world University

once the People will reach a certain level because they will

develop an overall grading Which is level 1 to level 33 And only those who are at level

33 Can come into the Krump professional Network and Give their input for the benefit of Krump

movement worldwide.

Rohit: I personally want to know how did the idea of Bringing Krump to a place like India

because India never had Krump.

whatever Krump that we did was not Really Krump but then the time when you came in and

took the workshop People really understood what were the basics and foundations of Krump

Moves and everything.

how did the idea of.

How did this idea happened to you, what was the first thought which came into your mind

which said that Alright Let me go to India and see what's up in India and you have this

- around 400 people out there.

Arun: Well there was a good friend of mine called Frankie J, He was a House dancer because

I went to the University of Bath and Frankie was based in Bristol which is nearby So I

used to have Krump session with Yoshi Who was my

first mentor in Krump and Frankie was there, so I knew Frankie as he was my Facebook friend

and one of Facebook post was from India with Kundu

And I was like ohh, let me check it out n I was curious and then I thought that there

was street dance in India, wow, if there is street dance in India then there may be Krumpers

in India So I messaged Kundu saying hi my name is Arun I am a Krumper,

And I asked any Krumpers in India?

And he gave me five contacts Abhishek Shubhankar Sambo and two others So I created a Facebook

group called Indian Krump movement and I made a post saying (it was 10 o'clock in the evening)

Hi my name is Arun and I am from UK and I have been Krumping since 2008.

If you like to have Skype then I would be more than happy to do it for Free.

And within 5 minutes Somebody said let's skype now and I was like wow that person is eager

Because in India it was 2-3 o'clock in the morning and I was

like ok let's do it.

And Taught him and the following day another person Skype with me, oh you taught my Mentors

I was like ok that's good So the first person was Abhishek Das

the second person was Shubhankar (they Stay together.

haha) And we kept having Skype session on a daily basis While I was coming back from

work and it was 2- 3 o'clock in the morning but he

still did it, it continued for months and they said you know what it would be really

nice if you can come to India and during That time there was an event happening in Chennai

and I spoke to the organizers and they said why don't you come

as a judge.

Why was like if I go to Chennai then I would go to Mumbai to meet Abhishek and Shubhankar

and when I went there I spoke to Abhishek that I want to see you and Shubhankar

and he was like let's organize a workshop I was like are you sure?

I just want to come down and see you and they were like No No, let's organize workshop and

I was like ok So I was only expecting 5 people Because every time I give a workshop in UK

there was only one person or nobody or 10 What's the maximum

number to get in a Krump workshop and within two weeks of Advertising the Krump workshop

80 people registered and 55 people turned up and Initially it was meant to be kept at

toe and tunes studios because of the numbers we moved to

the Mall (in which Toe and Tunes is Located) Initially it was meant to be for 3 hours but

Because of their passion and I felt so inspired Adrenaline Kicked in so I ended up teaching

7 hours including conference And that's when I said you know what India has so much of

potential I want to help them, so Let me sponsor the air tickets of my friends KidEyex (Wave)

and KidMaddRip (Stretch) to come to India And that's how IKF

was born and Desi buck.

Rohit: Where do you find the Indian Krump movement at this point of time On the world platform. TOP 4.

As in how buck India is right now?

Arun: Top 4.

Rohit: (Shocked)Top?

Arun: Top 4 easily.

Rohit: Top4?

(Still Shocked) Wow Arun: Yeah Because when I look at Krump countries

I don't look at individual level I look at the level of contribution,

Number of Krump events happening, Number of Krump Workshop, number of krump events

Number of Krumpers Level as well but not So much of level, right

now the top 4 is Japan Russia France and for me India.

Rohit: Two things - First of all tell us a little bit about "Krump Saves Life" charity.

Arun: Yes so it is born out of the desire to provide a Platform so that we could, as an organization

to help enter the market of prison, market of hospital It is

like if I go there to take a Krump workshop they would be like Who are you? we don't know.

If I say I'm part of this "Krump Saves Life" charity and where we offer Krump workshop

to people at disadvantaged background or with difficulties by having that kind of branding.

It would be easier to enter and that's why different ambassadors in different countries.

Right now we have 13 Ambassadors in 13 countries.

Rohit: The last thing is the message you want to give to the Indian Krump Movement from

where they have started to where they are right now and in your vision where do you

see Indian Krump Movement going, What is the suggestion that you want to give

them what is the mindset that they need to have an overall message to the Indian Krump

Movement?

Arun: OK so we went from about 5 different krumpers because there were only few krumpers

before I came like Shoot-out to Ranjit in Chennai, Rangoo in Bangalore, Nimit in Mumbai,

Sambo in Delhi?

Mumbai and few people did Krump, and now it's gone to 400 people because IKF is a catalyst,

it was an umbrella organization for everyone to come under to work together as a team and

now the next step is Krump Fusion for choreography because when I went to Marty

Kudelka workshop because Marty Kudelka is a lead choreographer for Justin Timberlake

he is being doing that since 18 years so I asked him, and he was

telling about his background and he was talking about hip-hop and commercial hip-hop and how

hip-hop was brought into studios and that's how the choreography scene was born and so

on and I said to myself if we have Krump but we don't have commercial Krump, I would

never call it commercial Krump, Krump is Krump but just for the sake of simplicity and

understanding let say we have Krump and commercial Krump and for commercial Krump we have people

working towards it already like Twiggz Bdash, and now Konkrete those three are like working

towards the commercial Krump or even LIL-C even LIL-C too and when people hate him LIL-C

is the pioneer of the commercial Krump so those 4 people are trying to breach into the

commercial dance world community to help bring more visibility for Krump And for South Asian Diaspora

Countries like India Pakistan Srilanka Bangladesh And so on We must be able to create Krump

With the blend of let's say Bollywood, Krump and Bhangra, Krump with Kuthu, Krump with

Bharatnatyam, Krump with Kathak, So by creating those fusion We must

be releasing videos If possible on the weekly basis So that people can see Choreography

of Krump fusion and Start developing Appreciation for the fusion style And once you attend the

class Slowly bring them over to the Krump World Acting as a bridge So this is my main

drive for the 1000 videos in UK Because I want people to add Bollywood in the Krump

to add Bhangra in the Krump to add kuthu in Krump So I am using the choreography as a

bridge Almost like holding their hand and saying come here Because if it is 100% Krump

They will feel left out So they want touch, but if I provide them

a platform a bridge It would be easier for the community to grow and Lead to evolution

That's how you can get Krump choreographer Working with Bollywood artist.

But they must be able to know how to create the fusion, because if it is a 100% Krump

on TV or a movie Bollywood movie it is not going to work but if it's like

fusion With Bollywood and Bhangra, Sorry Bollywood and Krump That's how it is going to work out

right So right now I am taking classes from Mad Chadre from bollyflex who is one of my

partner in dance entrepreneurship One of the best number one In Europe for Bollywood Also

I'm learning Kuthu classes from J.R.Ravindren.

For me he is the no.

1 in kuthu so learning from those two role models pioneers has helped me progress rightfully

in the blending of Bollywood and Krump, Krump with Kuthu and Krump with Bhangra as well.

Rohit: So I think that would be Thank you so much for your time Thank you for your Knowledge

and inspiration for your vision that you have and personally would like to thank you from

my side Because you have really inspired me as a futurist, as a person who have a vision

Towards Something So that's amazing, that's really amazing, thank you so much Arun,

Thank you so much

BRITISH REACT TO AMERICAN BLACK FRIDAY! | VLOGMAS DAY 1 - Duration: 13:13.

(upbeat Christmas music)

- Hi, we're Joel and Lia.

- Welcome to Vlogmas!

- Oh my gosh if you guys didn't know already,

we are doing Vlogmas, which means...

- Video every day of December,

but till Christmas day, and then it stops.

- Then it stops and it's back to thrice weekly.

I did it with the wrong arm,

thrice weekly, after that,

but so you've got 24 videos

- of Joel and Lia, and Prosecco.

- Cheers darling.

That was such an aggressive cheers,

could you imagine if it smashed all over all our stuff.

- Nope.

- Then we got charged an extortionate amount, to be in this

- Oh yeah!

- Place we call home.

- Hi guys this is a new back ground,

this is Lia's new apartment, she's moved again.

- Hi guys so I moved house again,

and like I've upgraded this time.

- Yeah, in the middle of Soho.

- To go somewhere a little bit more extra.

- So this is our background for

most of Vlogmas. We...

- We are doing 12 sit-down and chat videos,

- Yeah.

- And 12 out and about videos.

- Mhm, so you'll have a mixture.

- You've got a mixture guys,

and if you do want 25 dollars in Airbnb credit,

then the link is in the description.

That's all the freebees you're getting this year!

- Yeah, there you are.

- Merry Christmas from us to you,

25 dollars Airbnb credit.

- And if you're already registered with Airbnb

then start a new account,

and then just get 25 dollars on there.

- Yeah, because it is only for new sign-ups.

- Yeah.

- Right.

- But anyway,

- Onto the video,

- This is Vlogmas, we didn't wanna

go straight into the Christmas content.

- No.

- Because people are gonna get Christmas triggered.

- Yeah, Christmas triggered.

- Christmas triggered.

- Triggered, Christmas triggered.

- You know, we've dotted about a few

little decorations here and there.

- Yeah, our tree.

- By the way, for anyone who misses

the lights, they're all back.

- Yeah, back by popular demand.

The J & L, which makes everyone think we're married.

- Yeah.

- That's back there.

- The bed is back in the background.

- Yeah, by the way don't wanna

trick you with too much Christmas,

so we're easing you into it

by us reacting to the Black Friday sales in America.

- Yeah. This is just,

I've seen stuff like this

- Yeah.

- We're gonna show you our thoughts.

- Yeah.

- In our faces.

- So let's, so Black Friday is

the day after Thanksgiving.

- Yeah, so Thanksgiving is a day

where they're like all thankful, so thankful for

everyone around them, and all the people

that they're so lucky and

so blessed to be surrounded by in their lives,

and then, Black Friday is a day that Americans...

- When they forget all of that.

- trample all over strangers.

- Yeah, to get bargains.

- People they're not thankful for.

- To spend the money.

- Spend money they don't have.

- Yeah.

- I don't know, maybe they do.

- But, do you know what guys?

Loads of you are like, "React to Black Friday,

it's something we do in America."

And you know what, it's now something we do in the UK.

- Oh we've stolen it, yeah.

- The UK, only a few years ago

started doing Black Friday sales.

We don't do Thanksgiving, but we do the Black Friday Sales.

- Yeah.

- But, I've never seen anything like this

because I think British people have a bit more decorum.

- Okay I'm ready.

- Well someone from our Joel and Lia

legends group sent this to us.

Our private Facebook group they sent us this video,

- Yeah.

- So just, you know, so any of you are

gonna comment being "like you only

react to the negative things in America,"

No we don't, we react to whatever you send us.

- Yeah.

- So um.

- Yeah.

- This isn't us this is you.

- Yeah, I know we get so many comments are just like...

- I know.

- Haters, but you know, people want to see the reaction

so we're just giving the nation what they want.

- We're giving the nation what they want.

- Don't comment at us, don't @ me yeah.

- Don't @ me, I love when people say that.

- Don't @ me.

- Don't @ me.

- Let's be triggered.

- Okay, whoa whoa whoa

- What is that?

It just looks like paper, like cartons.

(gasps)

She stole it from a child!

- Oh what you're kidding.

Oh now they're starting to fight

because she started on her child. Head lock.

- That woman is saying "why are you being so aggressive,

you're scaring me!" You were the one that

pulled it out of a child's hand.

- She pulled it out of a kid's hand, oh my gosh, oh my gosh.

- You stupid, beep.

- Oh my gosh, oh my gosh.

Are they TV's? Okay.

- I feel so anxious.

- Guys, is anyone trying to steal it

or they just take it to the checkout?

- No they're just taking it to the checkout

because there's limited numbers.

This is all Walmart, look that's a Walmart sign.

- Walmart? Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh.

- No I don't believe, this can't be real.

This is aggressive Joel!

- Why are they doing this?

- They've got security guards in Walmart.

- Is she just reserving it with her hand?

(gasps)

This is Walmart, again.

Why did human beings turn into animals?

- Animals for a bargain. No this can't be real.

What could they possibly be going that crazy about?

It like, it's just, what is that?

- It's just stuff.

- Its just stuff.

- Like what, you get like 30 dollars off that's it.

Like, is it worth?

- What is that a printer? What are we looking at?

- Oh, fight, fight, fight.

- No Joel! What are they doing? Oh my gosh.

- I'm Christmas triggered.

- This is so triggering, isn't it?

- It is making my heart rate go up just watching it.

- Part of me is like okay, maybe it isn't real,

maybe this is a massive film set,

all of these people are extras,

and they've just said okay fight,

and a few of the extras are being paid

to film it on their mobile phone.

- Sorry I've just had,

just I had a flash in my brain of

comments that we get being like "you two are such snobs,"

While me and you are drinking Prosecco

in a five star hotel room whilst

judging people who do Black Friday.

We're like oh my gosh my heart rate's going up,

sip of Prosecco.

- Keep watching.

No, Joel.

- They are aggressive.

- They're so aggressive.

Oh my gosh I wouldn't leave the house

if I knew I was in for that.

- Yeah.

- Like surely these people knew what they were in for.

- I think some of them probably enjoy it.

- Yeah.

- They enjoy the adrenaline pumping of like...

- Yeah, it's like when English

people go to a Football match.

- Yeah, I mean English people can be hooligans,

but normally about sport.

I feel like it wouldn't happen in shopping.

- Not about a bargain.

- No.

- This is so intense.

- Is it only Walmart?

- Must be. (mumbles)

It must be every like, department.

- But all of these are in Walmart.

- Yeah I know.

- I feel really sorry...

- I'd be terrified.

- For the people that work there,

because they will have to go into work that day.

Imagine going into work that day.

- Look at that poor old lady.

I feel really sorry for the kids and like the old people.

I don't care if a middle aged man

gets punched in the face,

like he probably deserves it.

But, an old person.

- I would say lock up your kids, don't let them out.

Look at that kid in a trolley,

it's like "stay safe hun,

you're safe inside this trolley." Alright.

- Do you know where me and you would go mad?

If there was a sale on Prosecco.

(laughs)

"Get out of the way!"

- We're like clearing the whole aisle like, stop!

- Okay so this is Walmart opening,

so they're about to open the store.

- The staff that work there are obviously so terrified.

- I wish people would walk at a brisk pace,

like still orderly.

- We'd probably form a cue as well.

- Yeah, that would be a cue.

- What? The crowd's getting restless outside.

They're so ready.

- Oh my gosh they're gonna break the windows.

- Well do they have weapons?

(laughs)

- It looks like a zombie movie,

like everyone at the window like "uh."

(gasps)

- Also, I wouldn't bring much ,

they've not brought much stuff with them

they've just brought themselves.

- Yeah, also that's not much security,

that security guards really weedy.

- Yeah it doesn't look like he's

gonna be able to do much securing.

- Oh my gosh they're opening

- They're opening the doors.

- Are they trying to keep it like...

- What they should do, is do kind of what the UK do

which is like a few in, a few out,

and they have, like, a cue management system.

- Yeah.

- I went into a shop on Friday

and there was a cue management, the maintenance

wait at the door, wait minutes.

- We are great about that though, Brits are great at cue-

(both gasp)

- They literally pushed security guard out of the way.

- I know and they are running for the bargains,

how do they know where to go?

(laughs)

- This is like supermarket sweep.

- That was the greatest show.

No way that's already broken.

- No...

- So in Black Friday there must be quite a lot of

stock loss because A)people might steal it

- Or break it.

- B)break it

- Or C)eat it.

- If they don't eat each other.

- They are going metal.

- It is quite funny though they are running in.

- It is really funny, it's really funny.

- Bargains everywhere.

- What if they regret it, what if they just pick up

something they're like "oh I just bought something

at Black Friday I don't even need it"

- That's the thing, lots of the sales are fake

like a company, like they might sell something for 20 quid

and then it comes to Black Friday and they say 20 quid

reduced from 40 quid, and then-

- Interesting

- They make it seem like a bargain.

- That is such a good quality employees.

(both gasp)

- Oh wow

- What, what, what is going on now

what are they cueing up for another Walmart.

- Another, I don't think is Walmart.

- They are screaming to get in.

- It's like the Jon Lair meter.

- Yeah it's like when we-

Whoa whoa they are sprinting, this is such-

health and safety, the U.K. wouldn't allow that.

- Look the security things are being torn down.

- Oh my gosh, oh my gosh.

- I would be these people at the back, like I'll get in

when I get in, what is the point in rushing.

- Joel I be just the people at home watching on my laptop

like we are.

- Yeah.

(gasps)

- No that's not, that's real punching.

- What are you fighting over...

- No

- Oh my god, what's the point.

- What is going on.

- Why are you fighting over bargains.

- What way to undermine Thanksgiving.

- I know.

- Do you know what I mean.

- But maybe those people there don't really do Thanksgiving.

- Maybe.

- Who knows.

- I mean, I'm sure it's not like this everywhere.

- No

- But this is pretty triggering like-

- So triggering

- You just don't, I think the worst thing that has ever

happened in the U.K., I heard once that there was sale on,

at Next and someone got trampled over or something.

- Oh okay, yeah.

- I don't know if there has been any like, fatalities.

- There's no big dramas like this, I don't think, you don't

really hear about it but again maybe that's because the

discounts aren't big enough because I'm sure

if Brits were given a big enough discount maybe they would

react like this.

- What like maybe, 90 percent?

- Yeah, if it was like-

- Like- I was going around shops on Friday, was it Friday?

No on Saturday I made a visit and it was like,

20 percent off and some store were like "yeah we are not

doing it" but there is that shelve that is part of Black

Friday, which was all the crap stuff.

- I didn't go out Black Friday I just did online shopping

- Yeah

- But I got lots of bargains which was great.

- Did you? What did you get?

- Well I can't say because my family are going to watch this

I got my mom a present.

- Oh you did all your Christmas shopping.

- Very big discount on that, it was about half price

and it was (whispers in ear).

- Fantastic!

- Fantastic discount.

- That's hilarious.

I just bought my protein bars

so I bought 5 boxes

- I did that too, I bought 14 boxes

- Oh that's nice, we tried protein crisps when we were in

New York last time and they were so nice.

- But you bought protein-

- So I bought 5 boxes of the dark chocolate and sea salt

bars that I like and they were so cheap.

45 percent which is really good, they ended up being

less than one pound per bar.

- Perfect.

- So at 90p per bar.

- Well I hope you guys enjoyed that, this is, like we said

The Loud House Holiday Party Guide 🎄+ BONUS Clip | Nick - Duration: 6:19.

It's Christmas Eve at the Loud house and the Louds are throwing a holiday party.

Isn't this the most wonderful thing you've ever seen?

And that means a lot of fun, but it also means a lot of work.

So to help them figure out who's doing what,

we created The Loud House Holiday Party Guide.

Let's get merry!

First things first,

a holiday party is nothing without holiday spirit.

So who's bringing that? Lucy?

Oh, spirit of Goldie, our late family fish,

who really flushed you?

Wrong kind of spirit.

How about Lisa?

It's scientifically impossible for the so-called Chris Kringle

to deliver gifts to the approximately one billion qualifying children.

As you can see, X equals no stinkin' way.

Ho-ho-hold up!

That is not what we had in mind.

I know, Mr. Grouse?

Louds, shut off all those horrible lights!

Well, that is the exact opposite of holiday spirit.

Let's start with something easier.

Every good party needs music.

Luna's the resident rocker, so she'll be rockin' around the Christmas tree.

[music playing]

Done. Next up, we need food.

So, who's cooking? Leni?

Dinner's almost ready, guys!

Well, if she's cooking like that, it won't be ready until next Christmas.

Let's leave this to Lynn Sr.

His lasagna's amazing.

Don't believe us? Just ask Mr. Grouse.

Mm-mm!

I'd like to be alone with my lasagna.

What about dessert? Should Lynn Sr. make that too?

You're just in time to try the crown jewel of old Dad's Christmas Eve feast,

the figgy pudding!

[coughing]

Uh, let's leave dessert to someone else.

I know, Lola, she loves sweets.

[screaming]

Just go easy on the sugar this time, Lola.

OK next up, decorations.

Leni can be in charge of those.

If they look half as good as her outfits, then we should be all set.

Forget what I was wearing before.

This is the perfect Christmas outfit.

Awesome, we are dashing through this!

Lori's the oldest, so she can be in charge of presents.

The sound of the paper tearing, the smell of the tape,

that moment when you stick the bow in your hair.

And Lynn can be in charge of games.

Tonight's special, it's my...

300th win in a row!

I am unbeaten by you chumps.

[cheering]

As long as she doesn't get too competitive.

Oh no! Lori opened up everyone's presents early!

[nervous laughing]

You guys got some great stuff.

Mom will re-wrap the presents and hang the stockings.

You know what I want for Christmas?

A bigger fireplace.

Lily, are you "stocking" me?

Looks like Lily will help Mom with the stockings too.

And Lori can be in charge of the appetizers?

Anyone for a mushroom polenta on toast points?

Ah, maybe not.

Then what should Lori be in charge of?

Party props!

There you go! Party props it is.

Now, we need to have a holiday atmosphere, literally.

And for that we need snow.

Lisa, can you help us out here?

I called some friends at NASA.

They pulled a few strings, and a little cloud seeding later,

we have ourselves another snow day!

Brilliant, that's a winter wonder-plan.

Has anyone seen all my tinsel?

- Shh... - Oh, I'm gonna tell.

No, no, no!

Just ribbon ya!

Uh-oh, Leni used all the decorations to make dresses.

Let's put Lucy and Lana in charge of decorations.

Dang it, I'm out of balloons.

Oh, I know.

My emergency stash of ABC gum!

And we're gonna turn a negative into a positive and make

Leni in charge of everyone's holiday outfits.

And this is plaid.

So, um, is there a difference between plaid and checkers?

Huge difference.

But to really help you understand,

I should go get some samples from downstairs.

Lincoln, you've got a lot to learn.

Speaking of Lincoln, he did say he wanted to be in charge of entertainment.

Knee farts!

Um, I don't think knee farts count as entertainment.

Let's leave that to Luan.

He jokes really "sleigh".

You know, like sleigh bells, anyone?

OK, I'll just leave the holiday puns to Luan.

Look at Dad getting figgy with it.

There's no time like the "present".

I just "sleigh" myself.

But what is Lincoln gonna do?

I know, he can be in charge of party favors.

Clyde can help him make chocolate pies to-go.

? Mama's little baby loves Shortnin', shortnin' ?

? Mama's little baby loves shortnin' ?

? Bread ?

All that's left is Mr. Grouse. What's he gonna bring?

You've all given me so much tonight.

Now I'd like to give something to you.

Ah, all of our stuff!

[yelling]

Wow, Mr. Grouse brought all the stuff he's borrowed over the years.

Very sweet of you, Mr. Grouse.

Anyway, that's everyone! We did it!

But we're missing one thing.

The holiday spirit.

Who's bringing the holiday spirit?

? It's what you give Not what you get ?

? We've got the hard part figured out ?

? This year will be the best one yet ?

? 'Cause that's what Christmas Is all about ?

? Merry Christmas from the Louds ?

Aw, looks like everyone brought the holiday spirit this year.

Happy holidays from the Louds.

See you next year for The Loud House Holiday Party Guide.

Let us know which Loud you'd wanna spend the holidays with

in the comments below.

Now here's a gift from us, a special bonus clip.

Yeah!

[laughing]

There's nothing like another whole day of lobbing frozen projectiles.

Woo-hoo! Snow day!

Alaska Earthquake: AFTERSHOCKS COMING! Bible Prophecy News - Duration: 6:09.

A 7.0 Earthquake has rattled Alaska and shockwaves are expected to be ongoing.

How should we react to this event in the light Bible Prophecy?

Stay tuned!

Hi, this is Dustin with Hope Through Prophecy.

times.

A 7.0 earthquake has struck just outside of Anchorage, Alaska.

Yes, the beautiful land of Alaska has been rocked by nature's fury.

What's more, aftershocks are expected to continue for years.

Melissa Lohr, who lives in Alaska, told CNN "It felt like the ground was gonna open up".

In fact, this is exactly what happened.

Check out this shocking footage from today's earthquake.

As you can see, the ground has literally-opened up as a result of this 7.0 powerhouse, which

struck 25 miles beneath the earth's surface.

Here is some additional information and footage of this destructive quake.

Soon after the catastrophe, President Trump tweeted:

To the Great people of Alaska.

You have been hit hard by a "big one."

Please follow the directions of the highly trained professionals who are there to help

you.

Your Federal Government will spare no expense.

God Bless you ALL!

7-10 thousand Alaskans are now without power, reports Alaska's Municipal Light and Power.

They are warning residents to avoid downed power lines.

Kristin Dossett, an Alaska resident, told CNN, "I have been here 37 years and that was

the most violent earthquake I have ever felt.

It was absolutely terrifying," She goes on to say

"It shook like I have never felt anything shake before.

It just didn't stop.

It kept going and got louder and louder, and things just fell everywhere — everything

off my dressers, off my bookcases, my kitchen cupboard.

Just broken glass everywhere."

To make matters worse, multiple aftershocks of this earthquake are expected.

Scientists are predicting that this is just the beginning.

In fact, CNN reports that there have now been 30 aftershocks from

the original earthquake.

For students of Bible prophecy, we know that we can expect natural disasters, including

fires, earthquakes, and more, to be rampant in these final hours of earths history.

The Alaska earthquake is not a cause us for panic, but should serve as just another wake

up call that we ARE living in the end times.

Yes, aftershocks are coming.

The Bible says For nation shall rise against nation, and

kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes,

in divers places.

The Bible describes how famines, pestilences, and earthquakes will be happening with increasing

frequency and intensity in the last days.

And of course, the apocalyptic book of Revelation speaks of that great earthquake that will

shake the earth to it's core just before the return of Jesus Christ:

And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as

was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great…And every

island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

But friends, we need fear in these final days.

If we give ourselves to Jesus, confess our sins, and commit to learning and obeying His

Word, we can have peace and hope – even through the storms of life.

Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried

into the midst of the sea;" Yes, we can hide ourselves in the Rock of

Ages.

We can walk hold onto the mighty arm of Jesus and live with confidence in these end times!

Consider this powerful Bible promise: He that dwelleth in the secret place of the

most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Friend, is it your desire to make Jesus your refuge?

To give your life to Him?

To have peace, hope, and security in these last days?

If this is your desire, please write in the comment section below

"Rock of Ages, let me hide myself in Thee".

DEAR PETSMART | tiny tales cage review - Duration: 11:03.

hey guys so I know I said I wasn't gonna do one of these videos but I just feel

like it has not been talked about enough so today I am going to be

reviewing the tiny tales comfy house by Petsmart if you don't know yet Petsmart

came out with their own line of hamster cages

sadly all of which are unsuitable it's very disappointing because Petsmart

could do so much better and if you want to help pet smart create better and more

humane hamster cages for hamsters please sign the petition down in the

description bar below we're trying to get 20,000 signatures before we send it

off to pet smart and then hopefully we can work together with them to create

better humane hamster cages unlike these if you are unfamiliar with hamster care

a hamster should have a cage that is no smaller than 450 square inches of floor

space I actually recommend even bigger because they are animals who need a lot

of space now this cage has only about 241 square inches of floor space and I

just want to point out it does say here ideal for hamsters gerbils and mice

because I know I'm gonna get a comment saying this is made for dwarf hamsters, no

it's not it doesn't list anywhere that it is only for dwarf hamsters and this

isn't suitable for a dwarf hamster either they need just as much space as

any other hamster another thing I want to mention is how disappointing these

cages are for the fact that these are specifically marketed towards children

as you can see the box is super like fun looking there's a cartoon hamster on the

back it literally says collect and connect them all it sounds like a

children's toy a hamster is not a child's toy it is a living breathing

animal hamsters shouldn't be marketed as a child's play toy so let's get to

opening this cage,

oh my gosh so we have the bars here

some styrofoam, my rabbits litter box is bigger than the base of this cage. Oh are

you trying to help me help enough thank you okay I got everything out so the

first thing that I see in here is it looks to be stickers because once again

this is marketed towards children as a children's toy this really reminds me of

a McDonald's Happy Meal when you get like little extra things with your toy

and then there is Oh a word search too nice

yeah this is literally so marketed towards children it's not even funny so

one of the first things I actually want to do is I want to measure this base

myself when you're measuring a hamster cage usually the measurements on the box

are going to tell you the outside measurements not to mention these have

curved edges so this cage is most likely even smaller than what I said at the

beginning of the video so after I have measured the base myself it turns out

this cage actually only has a hundred and fifty five square inches of floor

space slide a clear tube panel okay one of these thingies why is it so difficult

okay

this like clippie thing is not clipping down on there so that's not clearly secure, wow love that

this wire does not want to stay in the place ooh this wire literally is not it does

not fit this base that's great. We did it it is secured to this base! Cleo you're

literally the same size as this hamster cage isn't that hilarious

so the rings that go on these tubes are so hard to literally take off once you

have put it on a tube oh my gosh can you imagine trying to clean these. This wire is

not even in the base okay you good? Okay so I got the platform in there and it's

actually secure this time so it's not gonna like wobble around, now it is telling

me to grab the water bottle and I want to point out how badly made this water

bottle is if you can see this the spout goes down do you know the type of angle

a hamster is going to have to reach up and drink at this they are going to have

to bend of their neck so terribly bad it can actually cause issues when they're

having to bend their neck like that to drink out of a water bottle I really

don't like this water bottle at all I really just don't like this cage in

general the next step is to attach this wheel which has tubes in it I do also

want to point out this video that comes with the cage I think this is like a six

inch wheel this is too small for Syrians and most hamsters unless you have a robo

then yes this is going to fit alright but any other hamster this is going to

cause back issues and their back will Bend

especially since Syrians are actually one of the most popular bought hamsters

this isn't suitable for them this is supposed go oh there we go okay that's a

little bit better, k you, can you,

you just like just sit there honestly. connect okay get all these tubes I guess

and I got to do some connecting yay

oh I have to create the hidey hut okay so these thing, we have to build

Did I put this on backwards? oh shoot

remove the cap from the right side of the house

take that off, throw it away

gotta pop this one out

that is not my favorite type of secure-ness but oh there we go ha ha we got it. Doesn't

wanna attach which isn't safe because you need it to be secure we're just

gonna leave it like this because I absolutely have tried my hardest I

cannot clip these for the life of me no matter how hard I push on this clip it

does not want to stay down, this is literally floating I bet how does this

i brok- how does this door even open I don't

phew I'm sweating so bad right now so that was the most

frustrating thing I've ever had to do I have had more success setting up an

Ikea detolf than I have this cage um let's just go through this a little bit

this this doesn't even attach- like this bit- this top part it's not even attached

because I literally have tried my hardest to try and clip these things

down like I've pushed with all my strength it will not clip the base this

is about a two inch I think this is about a two inch base hamsters need to

have a section in their cage that has at least six inches of bedding so that

gives them the ability to burrow a hamster can't burrow in two inches

another thing I do want to mention a lot of people think that just because it has

this little Clubhouse on top of here, they think this adds space it really

doesn't this really does not count when it comes

to hamster floorspace a hamster needs running space they don't need climbing

space and a level like this does not count when it comes to floor space so

overall I'm just so disappointed with pet smart

so I'm just looking at this cage the wire popped out oh there we go popped it

back in so now I wanted to show you guys what the cage would actually look like

if they had a hamster in it, this is honey my Syrian hamster so honey is a

relatively small Syrian which is why she's okay to fit through these tubes

but an average size Syrian I would really worry about trying to get through

these tubes and I would worry that they would get stuck as you can see she can't

even fit in this wheel and her back was bending quite a bit when she did get in there

a hamster living its lifetime in one of these cages can cause serious

stress to a hamster and boredom you'll often see your hamster climbing the bars

of the cage because they have nothing else to do as well as constantly bar

chewing. Honey has been in this cage for less than five minutes and she already

is starting to chew on the bars

I also wanted to show you guys for in comparison here this is a 110 QT bin cage this has around 500 square inches

of floor space give or take and this is compared to the tiny tails cage so as

you can see the tiny tails cage could probably fit in this cage if I detach the

tubes it could probably fit this way two and a half or three times so if

you were thinking of getting one of these cages please save your money and

go for something else bin cages are cheap you can also find used large tanks

on Craigslist or kijiji this just is not a good cage and it does not provide the

hamster the space it needs so please for your hamsters sake go with something

bigger so yeah guys now I need to take this all apart so I can put it back in

the box and take it back to pet smart because I'm not giving them any of my

money so I hope you guys enjoyed this review thank you for watching bye

Turon Recipe (Filipino Dessert) - Duration: 3:55.

What's up guys? Today, we're gonna to show you how to make Turon -

a simple, but oh so yummy, fried Filipino dessert!

It's essentially a fried roll of banana and jackfruit, coated in a sugary caramel glaze!

In this recipe, we'll be using 2 Burro Bananas,

but you also have the option of using Saba bananas as well.

Start off by chopping the ends off of one of your bananas.

And then peel off the rest of the skin, so that you're left with the actual fruit of the banana.

Next, cut your banana the long way, into 3 equal slices.

Set them aside, and repeat the same process with the other banana.

This recipe makes 6 turon, so if you're looking to make more, just cut up some more bananas!

When you're done cutting up your bananas, you're going to need the following ingredients to assemble your Turon:

white sugar,

jarred jackfruit that's been cut into strips,

and lumpia or spring roll wrappers.

First what you want to do is take a lumpia wrapper and lay it on your

rolling surface so that it looks like a diamond from your point of view.

Next, grab one of your banana slices and coat both sides of it with white sugar.

And then place it horizontally in the center of your lumpia wrapper.

Afterwards, take a couple pieces of jackfruit and lay them across the top of your banana slice.

Now just take the bottom end of the lumpia wrapper and tightly fold it over everything.

You might need to lift and tuck the excess wrapper underneath.

Then fold in the right and left sides like so,

making any necessary mini-folds, to prevent any extra flappage from happening.

At this point, just tightly roll everything forward.

But right before you roll the last bit, take some of the syrupy juices from the jarred jackfruit,

and dab some on the end of the lumpia wrapper to help seal and keep your Turon together.

And then just set it aside and keep on rollin'!

If you're wondering if you can use normal bananas, you technically can.

But we don't really recommend it, because they'll turn to mush when you fry them.

When you're done rolling up your Turon, its time to fry them up!

In a new pan, pour in enough oil

so that the height of the oil is around 1/3 to ½ an inch.

Then set your stove to medium to medium-high heat,

and allow the oil to heat up a bit.

Once your oil is hot and ready, carefully place your Turon in.

Allow your Turon to fry for about 2 minutes.

And then flip them over and fry them for another 2.

What you're looking for is a light golden brown color on both sides.

You can periodically check on them

just to make sure they don't get too brown.

As soon as your Turon are looking all nice and golden,

place them in a strainer over a bowl, temporarily.

Now we're going to coat the Turon

with a brown sugar caramel glaze!

With the oil still

hot, over medium high heat, drop in about 1/3

of a cup of brown sugar.

Then immediately place your Turon into the melted sugar.

After about 10 seconds or so, flip them

over, and fry them for another 10 seconds.

At this point your Turon should be coated in the

caramelized brown sugar.

This process needs to be done fairly quickly, so be swift!

But also be careful!

When they're done, place them back in the strainer, or on a plate

to allow them to cool for a bit.

Just make sure not to stack them as they're cooling,

otherwise they'll stick together.

But once they've cooled down a bit, you should be fine to stack them.

Turon is usually eaten as a dessert,

but can also be eaten for merienda!

It's also one of those treats where it's impossible

to eat only one!

It's talagang tasty!

VLOGMAS! Day One 🎄 - Duration: 10:30.

- This is you. (laughs)

- [Jack] (laughs) I do love Christmas.

I think it's a little big.

- [Katie] Maybe. - But maybe that's the style.

Is it a look?

- I think it's, I mean, it's like,

you could belt it or something.

(Christmas style rock music)

- Hello, it is the first of December.

I'm Jackson Bird and this is Vlogmas.

I'm doing Vlogmas this year.

First time ever.

I used to do VEDA all the time but I haven't done

one of these vlog everyday of the month things

in a while.

For the uninitiated, Vlogmas is where you make a video

every day of December up until Christmas,

which is great for me because the 25th is usually

about the point where I stopped dropping off in VEDA,

Vlog Every Day in April.

So maybe I'll actually do it this time.

So basically this year has been a really heavy year

for, like, trans educational content,

lots of heavier, long videos of everything you need

to know about being trans or knowing someone who's trans.

Lots and lots of trans videos and not much else.

So this month, these 25 days of 25 videos

I'm hoping is gonna be a chance to show you

a little more about me, my life, who I am

beyond being trans and beyond scripts

because this is all gonna be unscripted.

Lower quality, filming most of it on my iPhone.

I'm gonna take you with me on what I do day to day.

I have still yet to decide how I'm gonna handle captions.

I would love to be able to pay for captions to be made

via Rev.com every single day.

I'm not sure if my budget can handle that.

We're gonna see.

Or if they are shorter videos, like under four minutes,

I can probably just type 'em up myself.

Videos are probably gonna go out a little earlier

in the day.

Like, when I do normal uploads,

they're in the afternoon.

These might go out a little earlier in the day

'cause I'm probably going to be showing you what I did

yesterday, which, first thing I lied about in this video.

It is not December 1st.

It is November 30th right now but I've thought it was

December for weeks and weeks and weeks,

so it might as well well be.

Might as well be?

So December is actually a pretty wild month for me this year

We're hosting our annual holiday party.

I'm going to the Yule Ball.

I'm going out to YouTube San Bruno office.

As you're watching this, I'm on my way

to Wizarding World in Orlando for my mom's 60th birthday

and on top of all of that, we're moving this month.

We've lived in this apartment for five years

and we are moving this month.

And that's not all.

I'm also really sick right now.

(coughs)

Perfect time to get sick, right at the start of Vlogmas,

day before a trip in which I'm going to a theme park

for two days and the forecast says it's gonna rain

the whole time, so this is just great.

My health is in great shape right now.

But somehow I'm gonna manage it all.

And you are gonna be along for the ride with me, hopefully.

(laughs)

We'll see how I do.

Oh, and apparently I've had my address in this shot

the whole time from these gifts that I need to wrap.

I am also rocking these amazing Christmas sweatpants.

Gonna live in these all month so get used to seeing them.

I don't know how often you're gonna see the bottom half

of my body.

You never know what the bottom half

of Youtubers' bodies look like.

We could have tentacles down there.

Ooh, that's like, a weird, that's a weird thing.

I'm not gonna go there.

This is probably a really choppy video.

In addition to not scripting it and not having much to say

beyond explaining like, what Vlogmas is,

and what's gonna be happening,

I'm also just, this head cold.

I cannot think straight.

I can't put words together.

I think yesterday and today are the worst of it, though.

I think I'll be feeling better tomorrow.

So, I mean, we'll see 'cause I do not wanna be

that sick person on the plane.

Everyone's gonna hate me.

Oooh.

I think I'm past the point of contagious, though.

You're contagious like, when you don't have symptoms yet.

So I shouldn't be contagious anymore.

That is the argument that I will make to flight attendants

when they try to kick me off the flight for being sick.

All right, yeah.

Let's wrap up some of those presents.

(upbeat holiday music)

So this whole big trip going to Wizarding World

in Orlando is for my mom's 60th birthday

and it's kind of like birthday slash

we're doing early Christmas, and so she told us

that since, you know, it's kind of an expensive trip,

we are not allowed to get her any other gifts.

Well, I might have cheated a little bit.

I wrapped him up in minions because that's her favorite.

She loves the minions.

I think we're gonna ride the minions ride at Universal.

Hopefully.

(upbeat holiday music)

Success!

At least that's as many as I'm wrapping for now.

Progress!

All right, now it is time to get a little bit of work done

including editing this vlog.

At some point tonight I still need to pack

and then gonna try to have an early night

so that I can try to heal up from this cold a little bit

before I take off tomorrow for Orlando.

Totally forgot that I have a library book due today

so I am gonna go return that book

and also gonna meet up with my friend Katie

and we're gonna check out a couple of stores,

maybe get some last-minute Christmas gifts

and decorations for some folks.

So let's go meet Katie.

Forgot I have to unplug the Christmas lights before I go.

Safety first, kids.

Don't leave your Christmas lights on at home.

Also, like, maybe make sure you have renter's insurance.

Lots of adulting tips from Jackson Bird today.

Am I gonna become the kind of vlogger who talks

about himself in third person?

Ooh.

Uh-oh.

(cheerful holiday music)

Hi.

- Hello!

Like, I texted you that the door was open.

- Oh, was that what you meant? I didn't know what that meant.

- I meant come in the door.

- Ooh.

- But like, too much glitter, not enough glitter?

- I voted on Instagram stories not enough glitter.

- Just the right amount of glitter?

- Look at, oh wow.

Oh, I like all these branches.

- I'm really into, like, sticks. (laughs)

As a tree element.

- Uh-huh, uh-huh.

- I think I might buy a few more.

- Robot book return.

Thank you, robot.

- That's fancy.

- Have you never returned a book here?

- No.

- Katie doesn't read.

- 'Cause I like to support authors by like, you know,

contributing to their book sales.

- I mean, fair.

That was literally my friend's book that I just showed

returning, I'm not even supporting my friends

in buying their books, so that's a fair call out of me.

Oh wait, we're almost to where you can see Christmas.

Christmas! I love when the Christmas

decorations are up.

- It's really, really pleasant.

But have you noticed they stopped?

It's like ...

- Oh, yeah, I've noticed 'cause like my whole walk

to your place there's none, yeah.

- And then our side of the neighborhood is like,

not gentrified enough to deserve Christmas decorations.

- Which is, yeah, ugh.

Gentrification's complicated.

Katie wanted to stop to look at the cats.

- That one's sleeping.

He's just real cute.

- Wait, there's two in there!

- There's two in there!

- I thought it was one.

- No!

Oh, this one's just like, hi, sorry, okay.

I don't wanna bother you.

All right, well.

- Bye cats.

They have sticks.

What color sticks do you need?

- I need, so we're doing, like, champagne,

not real gold. - Okay.

- And like, bronze or copper. - Wait, what about this

Santa wreath? 'Cause I really like the Santa wreath.

- Absolutely not.

- Oh, my God, I might need it.

I'm getting this nutcracker.

Wow, these are somethin' else.

Look at children Christmas clothing.

Should we find one for me?

- I feel like this is advice you could take.

- (laughs) Called out again.

This shirt, but I'm gonna replace it with Katie.

Katie, stop judging me.

- This is you.

- (laughs) I do love Christmas.

I think it's a little big.

But maybe that's the style.

Is it a look?

- I think it's, I mean, it's like, you could belt it

or something.

- I think you should get one of these cardigans.

Schoolteacher style.

Or these vests.

- I've been told that I have like, Kindergarten teacher

handwriting, so I can also have Kindergarten teacher style.

- Yeah, totally.

This wreath comes in every color.

- I just really, like, but I think you should show up

with one of each color.

- Yes! - And like, put them

along the wall. - Yes.

That is exactly what I should do.

- A Santa in every color.

You could make, there's probably enough to make, like,

a pride rainbow.

- Success! - Woo!

- Mostly, I think.

- Uh, I think one of your purchases was questionable, but.

- Wait, which one?

- The nutcracker.

- What, okay, I really have been almost buying a nutcracker

every time I've seen Christmas stuff.

- And you haven't bought one because who needs a nutcracker?

- We had like, 20 growing up.

I don't own any, so.

- Do you actually crack nuts with them?

- No, those, they're not functional as nutcrackers.

- Then what are they for?

- You, you have so many decorations that are not functional.

- No, but a tree and lights are way different than having

like, a small figurine that doesn't do anything.

- This nutcracker shaming, won't have it.

- This is like having like, a GI Joe, but Christmas.

- Yeah, exactly!

All right, I think this is where we will end Vlogmas.

First day of Vlogmas ended up being more exciting

than I anticipated.

Thanks, Katie.

- It was all the glitter.

- I never introduced you, do you wanna say

anything about yourself?

- Hi, that's all.

- I feel like you have a call to action

coming up soon that people on YouTube might wanna

know about.

- Project for Awesome?

- Yeah!

- Oh, yeah!

Project for Awesome's next.

Whenever you post this, it'll be next weekend?

- Yup! - Next weekend.

So first of all, you should vote for the

Harry Potter Alliance.

- Aw, thank you.

- But then go vote for She's the First.

- Yes. - 'Cause we need that, too.

- So Katie works for She's the First,

which is a really great girls' education

global, international initiative.

- Gender equality, you know.

- Gender equality, yeah.

Do all my sign-offs.

- Um, you should like and subscribe.

- Oh, thanks, yeah.

- I'm sure you're gonna put something in the description

box below that you'll want them to click on.

- Probably, and no one will.

- Follow Jack on Instagram 'cause his stories are great

and his photos in his feed are beautiful.

- Yeah, whoever takes, like, whenever there's

a high quality photo, whoever takes that does a great job.

- Whoever takes them, they have a Pixel 2.

Google wants to sponsor.

Um, yeah, follow Jack everywhere, he's awesome.

- Yeah, and I'll see you tomorrow for day two of Vlogmas.
