hey guys what's up it's Amanda and welcome back to my channel

today's video is going to be a video that starts off the Christmas season

I'm going to be attempting to make these gingerbread family things um

don't know how it's gonna work out I guess we'll see and I'll be answering

questions at the same time so that's the structure of this video before I started

because pugs are the cutest dog ever okay so we're gonna start I don't know how to open this

I don't really like gingerbread when you open it up it has the whole fam

wheres the sparkly stuff

it has the whole fam right here looking cute if one of them is broken I may

i may cry so we have with that and then we have the best part which is if the

frosting that you decorate them with the sprinkles -- more sprinkles

and candy I should have went into art so basically I will be decorating them and

answering questions so the first question is if you can only eat one food for

the rest of your life what would it be that's like really complicated due to the

fact that I love food I'm vegetarian so I don't know if that helps anything but

I love I love eating I love food so the one thing that I would wanna eat

for the rest of my life would probably be pasta

just because that shits filling and that shits good and you can have so

many different types of pasta so that's what I would go with the next one

is if you could be anything in the world as a career what would you do

um I don't really know what I would want to do I'm really like I want to work in

communications somewhere in that field for sure so I don't have an exact thing

but would be in that communications field Wow

I don't know how to do this I didn't plan this through this

so im gonna start with this person what a ripoff look how much I'm I suppose I'm

gonna try and fill this in Lord this scarf in ok not bad not bad I mean I should sell

these as a career well no the next question is what's the first thing you

do when your bored the first thing I do when I'm bored is well there's several

things that I do at the same time um the first thing is I will open my phone and

I will go on Instagram snapchat that type of stuff and just look at what

people are sharing and then I will eat because I like to eat um so that's what

I would do and that's what I do when I'm bored yeah I eat and I go on the

internet and hope for a fun time I take back that thing I should have not went

into arts thank God I didn't know little scarf and the little mitts the next

question is is if you could have a dinner with any three people in the

entire world famous or not famous who would it be

so um people I have never had dinner with that's what I'm gonna go with first

um well you know I have dinner with my boyfriend and my family thats about it

but oh my gosh I think I put too much um the

first person I would do is Shay Mitchell just because she is one of my favorite

people ever I would love to have dinner with her um Ellen DeGeneres because it's

fucking Ellen DeGeneres who wouldn't who wouldnt want to have dinner with her

and the last person I think would be Alessia Cara just because I don't know

why but I dig her like so many more of these I'm so sad I don't I don't want to

do this anymore how do the people on the Box make this look so nice and then I

make it look like trash I think the box is ly- I think the box was lying like

it's not possible there and then we're going to open up I don't think I'm going

to show you guys all me doing all of them because lord knows we're gonna be

here all damn night

this is my first ever gingerbread man I hope you guys liked

like him I think he's cute so that's number one we're gonna put him down um

so what do I have to do for the dog outline him with the icing making it all

cute and so I should become an arts and crafts Channel now give you my little

tips and tricks oh my gosh I'm gonna give it a little eyeball okay there we

go that one's not as bad oh I made his nose really damn big that's okay

he's got a really big ass nose um poor dog but that's okay got ugly ass dog

so we have the dad we have the dog and now we're gonna do the mother we need to

put her scarf is green because they're a

matching family you already know the next question is if you were given a

million dollars today what would you do with it first of all I would take myself

on a damn one-month vacation because I I deserve that

I deserve a long-ass vacation because my life sometimes be stressful and y'all

probably like Amanda you're a 20 year old girl like oh my well this is how

stressful my life is but yeah you're probably like Amanda you're 20 year old

girl your life aint stressful girl it is life is v stressful

I hate being dirty so I would take us on a vacation go somewhere exotic where

I can get a nice tan and being the Sun and not be in cold ass Montreal um

then I would probably save some so I can like feel like a responsible adult

um and then the rest I would just buy the shit I wanted to buy that I couldn't

afford right now I can't brush this out this poor girls boobs are probably

showing if you had a movie about your life who would you want to play your

character I don't have a specific person but if I had a movie about my life I

guess the person would be younger um and they better be like a badass Asian girl

because you already know I don't think I'm doing this for Oh Lord oh my gosh should

I give her hair okay that's gonna be her little ass hair so there you own own oh

wait I forgot the eyes one eyeball eyeball number two mr. and mrs. baby

number one popped out gonna do this one and then the rest of them I'm gonna do

off camera because I feel like I'm boring no exams left as of now I have an

essay due on Monday which is great love that I will

I wanted to do vlogmas but my life is too boring for that so I think I'm gonna

do like every like not like everyday vlog like a week in my life vlog for the

four weeks of December so I think that's what I'm gonna do um I don't know yet I

probably will start it I probably will start it and then I'll end because no

footage but that's okay life is not that fun and it's not that amazing also

why do these little kids not oh no why do the little kids not get a nose like

that's a little bit rude

and this is the kid mom the dad the kid and then the dog

that is having a big nose right so I'm going to do the rest of them off camera

um I technically finished I left one without anything this one just

because if someone wants to eat one without sugar you know I'm like come on

not have sugar they can do that I forgot that we had the damn sugar

sparkly shit that I was looking for so we're gonna I'm gonna have fun with this

beautiful little girl actually its the mother and we're gonna sprinkle

we gon sprinkle them up on there not turning out how I expected you know

we're not gonna put the sprinkles because the sprinkles literally look at

them falling this is this is how much sprinkles stayed on I'm not a fan I'm

not a fan were gunna throw that out so I hope you guys enjoyed this video if you

Experience is not the most important ingredient when it comes to finding a good wedding DJ - Duration: 1:26.

How important is it that your DJ has a lot of experience?

Yes and no, it's important and it's not important.

There's many DJ's who promote the fact that they've been

DJing for maybe 20, 30 years and how important that is.

But in that time they haven't actually learned any new skills.

They haven't really gone out of their way to try to do new things, they're just

doing the same thing they were doing 20 30 years ago.

On the other hand you could get a guy who's only been DJing for maybe 4 or 5 years,

but he's he's taken so many courses, he's done so much training and really pushed

himself out of his comfort zone, to give his couples an amazing experience.

So it's not always about the number of years it's about what you've done in those years.

So yes I've got far more...

I've probably done more training than any DJ in the country.

I go to Toastmasters International every week to improve my communication skills.

I've done workshops and courses in stand-up comedy, improvisation, acting

and lots more. And it's all to give my customers an amazing day, to give them

an amazing wedding day.

So yes I do have a lot of experience, but what I'm offering to my couples now

is far different to what it was 20, 10, or even 5 years ago.

What's your expectations of a wedding DJ?

Many people have seen some very bad DJs

maybe at weddings they've been to,

and they're worried that the DJ is

maybe going to be too cheesy or so on.

I don't ever give a price by email,

most of the emails I get, are asking how much do you charge.

I never give a price by email

because it's about the value that I can give to you,

and I can't convey that value in an email or even a telephone call.

if you take the time to meet with me face-to-face,

then I sit down and for the first 10 minutes

I'm really finding out about you.

What it is that you want?

What is important to you?

What you've seen at other weddings you liked and you disliked?

And once I've got a good understanding of

who the two of you are,

your personalities.

I give you lots of ideas

of things that you could do to make your wedding really fun,

to get the guests laughing,

to help with the icebreaking,

to just create an amazing energy.

By the end of the meeting-

the meeting is about an hour.

By the end of the meetings

the couple always look at each other

and go wow!

I had no idea half of that even existed.

So if you do take the time to

meet with me,

I guarantee by the end of that meeting

your expectations of what a wedding DJ can offer you,

will be completely different.

Bridezillas - Duration: 1:16.

Have you heard of the phrase bridezilla?

On DJ forums I constantly see DJ's

complaining about their brides are being bridezillas

and micromanaging every minute detail.

Giving them huge playlists of what they should play for the wedding.

Even down to the order in which the songs should be played.

I never experienced this and for a while I wondered why,

and I realised it's because I got out of my way

to give all of the couples that I work with

enormous peace of mind.

I meet with them numerous times.

On the actual first meeting when we're talking about

whether they're gonna book me in the first place.

But then even after they booked me,

there maybe 2, 3, 4 even more meetings

until the actual wedding day.

So by the time of the wedding day they've got enormous peace of mind.

That not only am I going to deliver what they want,

but the wedding is going to be a lot of fun.

Because we plan lots of different things to make the wedding exciting for them

and for their guests.

So if you're hearing the phrase "bridezilla" a lot,

it could be that you're just not giving your couples peace of mind.

It's really important that they're absolutely comfortable with you

and confident, that you're going to deliver, what you say you're going to deliver.

Less is more - Would you prefer more subtle lighting used by your DJ? - Duration: 1:07.

Most brides work really hard to make the room look beautiful at the wedding venue

and often what happens after the meal the DJ marches in with tons of

metalwork and scaffolding and poles and completely destroys the look the

bride has worked so hard to make look absolutely stunning.

Less is more as far as I'm concerned,

I use probably less lighting than any DJ in the country because

I realise how hard the brides worked to make the room look beautiful but

secondly, lasers going everywhere and lights spinning around;

a lot of people don't like that at a wedding

especially elderly people they hate lights going in their eyes.

So I use lights- enough light to entice people onto the dance floor,

but it's about creating a great atmosphere, because most people they see

loads and loads of lights and for the first 5 seconds they might say

"oh yeah, that looks good" and then

they've completely forgotten about it. It's about less is more about being

minimalistic is my approach to lighting; you can still get a great effect

without having to use loads of lights.

A Wedding Host - Combine the best of a Toastmaster and a wedding DJ! - Duration: 1:39.

What are your expectations of a wedding DJ? What are your expectations of a

Toastmaster? Are you familiar with something called a wedding host? Which

takes elements of what a wedding DJ does, elements of what a Toastmaster does and combines

them together to give couples an amazing experience on their wedding.

So I'm not the same as a Toastmaster at all; I do elements as I say of what they do

but I don't wear a red suit and I'm not going around shouting at people, but I am

helping everything run to time and there's a lot of fun elements in there

as well that a Toastmaster wouldn't do, and I'm often using music which is something

definitely a Toastmaster wouldn't do but then again there's a lot of things I'm

doing a DJ wouldn't do because they wouldn't be doing the guest

introductions into the room for the wedding breakfast delivering a Love Story

about the bride and groom. Maybe the Mr. and Mrs. game

during the afternoon not in the evening. There's elements that I've

taken from both a traditional wedding DJ, traditional wedding Toastmaster, combined

them to make a much more fun experience for couples. A lot of couples now don't

want the formality of a Toastmaster. I'm not dismissing Toastmasters at all

because they definitely have their role and many people that's exactly what they want.

But for some couples who want maybe the wedding to be a bit more informal, to

be more fun; then maybe they're not looking for that and maybe

something that I offer will be more in in tune with what it is that they are

looking for, for their wedding day.
