There was a woman, who lived in Goa,
She lived close to our older home, about five minutes away
and she spotted a drum stick tree close to her house
that tree was quite full of drum sticks
What this woman did was, she went and started taking these drumsticks
she took them by stealing them, and this went on for a while
one day, doing this she misplaced her earring from one ear
it was a large gold earring, one of them fell off,
she started crying, as it was one of her only possessions. She left her drumsticks and came running to masterjee
"Masterjee, I have misplaced my earring, I do not know where I have dropped it!"
Masterjee saw her horoscope to give her solace, and saw her nakshatra was Andha,
He reassured her, "you will find it, be patient and keep the search on, it will come to you"
This woman kept on searching for it, but to no avail
One day, I was putting the rubbish outside our home, and this woman came to visit
She said to Aai "I have not yet found my earring"
in my mind, I said to myself "Yes, steal, take things from peoples drum stick trees, and cry you have misplaced something!"
God of course is going to give you such experiences, if you steal
One could buy drumsticks for a few pennies and feed themselves, she would live alone
As we were speaking, something pricked her under her foot.
She looked below to see what pricked her, the rains had just passed.
and it was the same Earring that she had misplaced near the tree! and that too outside our doorstep!
Baba arranged for it to come outside our door!
She was overjoyed and taking totally by surprise!
she said to Aai "see how God arranged for this to be found at your door!"
"There is a football ground and bus stand outside, there are hundreds of people moving around, how did no one else find it? How did it reach your door ?"
I said to her "I had stolen it perhaps!":)
I found it funny, and humored her by saying "I had stolen it, and that's how it was outside our door"
She laughed, did her Namaskars and went home with joy
Isnt it a miracle! It was lost at the drum stick tree, at quite a distance from home, weeks ago
and due to the rains, it had flowed and come right outside our door (outside Baba's temple shrine)
and nobody else found it, but her itself!
If one steals from another, you may benefit from there but you will loose from ten other places
Therefore never take what is not yours, and be content with what you have always
That's it!
