hey guys welcome back to my channel so today I'm going to talk about products
that did not work for me personally you know how I feel about disclaimers so
we're all adults and I'm not going to give a disclaimer so let's go ahead and
get started the first thing that I was so bummed about because back when these
were in a different form people raved about them all the time and then they
were discontinued and they were brought back and I've done tons of research and
supposedly these are the same exact products that that were in her palette
previously that everybody raped it out but I have a hard time believing that so
I'm talking about the Mallee duos this was an Ulta like 21 days of beauty or
whatever and actually bought two about one for me and one for Ruthie's birthday
but I hated it so much there was just no way I was
going to give it to her I mean some things I don't like but I know that
she'll like because we have different skin tones we have different skin types
and some things work better for her than me but this sucked so bad I didn't even
want to send it to her to try it so I am going to return these I ended up getting
us both the peach color and it was just so glittery and it wasn't pigmented and
it didn't stay on my face and one of my sub YZ told me the same thing so it's
not just me but you know didn't work for me personally even though I got them for
a deal I wouldn't even pay what I got for them so they're going back next
thing is this Olay Henriksen counterbalance oil control hydrator now
I was super excited about this I did get it through Influenster with the cleanser
and a toner I haven't tried those yet but now I'm scared too um speaking of
Ruthie's so between the both of us we do use a lot of makeup and a lot of
skincare and she tried this first and she was like oh my god I love it and I
was like crap I haven't even used it yet because I was trying to go through my
Charlotte Tilbury lotion try get through this touch um stuff that I
absolutely love love love but this is in my project pan and this does work better
for me in the summer so I'm going to try to use it up this summer but when she
started using this she was like I love it so much it's so good and I was like I
need to break that out and try it first couple times I tried it I was like okay
we definitely are not on the same page with this I just did not make my skin
feel good it felt really tacky I wasn't like loving it and I was like
well okay no there's things that she likes it I don't like and then I broke
out and this was the only thing in my regimen that I had changed and I was
like what the hell so I didn't use it for like a week and then I was like let
me try it again so I tried it again about that time I
broke out and then she texts me and I think that Olay Henriksen stuff is
breaking me out I was like oh my gosh it was just like the verification that I
needed to know that this was breaking me out so I didn't like it from the
beginning um yeah so I would definitely say skip out on this I know it's
affordable so I was hoping to like love it because the tacha is so expensive but
this just did not do anything I don't even feel like my makeup went on good
over it so that is a pass since we're on the topic of primers I did get the
Milani prom shield meta fiying and pore-minimizing I've tried this twice
but now I'm obsessed with my Revlon Colorstay so I tried it underneath this
and it looked like crap and I know that this makes my skin look like perfection
like and my skin is far from perfect but this holds up on my skin gives me full
coverage makes my skin look almost airbrushed and when it looked bad over
this I was like it's you and then I tried it underneath my ELF flawless
finish which I also love and it looked so bad so if anyone has this and you
have a trick or maybe I just need to be more oily than I am
but it just made my foundation look like crap over it so anyway I'm going to
continue to play with this as I get way layer we're right now starting in the
oily um for me so we'll see another Milani
product that I hated and the reason is is because I like a full coverage I like
a full coverage foundation I like a full coverage concealer
anything that you can conceal of mine without making me look cakey I will take
that over minimum coverage now there are days where I run errands and I live in
BB cream and powder yesterday all I wore was concealer and powder I have those
days but on an everyday basis if I'm going to put this much effort into
putting stuff on my skin it better cover everything I hate about myself and this
just did not do it it's the retouching erase it's the new one I got the color
and oh one fair I didn't feel like it was light enough um I I mean of course I
bought this at Target so I'm not going to take it back or anything but I might
try to like use it on my face I just didn't feel like there was a lot of
coverage but there are tons that I just conceal my spots and then throw on like
a powder foundation so I'm going to continue to play with it but if you are
looking for this to go underneath your eyes and you do like full coverage and
you do have discoloration cuz I do this is not going to cover that up so that
was a fail for me um let's talk about highlighters cuz I have two okay so I'm
probably the only one that is ever going to complain about this but I have
several reasons I will insert a clip of the swatch now don't get me wrong this
swatch is absolutely gorgeous okay this is the starlet powder by Make Up For
Ever and number thirteen so I bought this during the vib sale because
everyone and their mother raves about this they say it's like the most
blinding highlight it looks so good on the skin there's no shimmer which I beg
to differ um there's definitely shimmer in this um
do I think there's like chunks of glitter no but their shimmer and um I
knew before I bought this that this wasn't my cup of tea because I am not
the type of person that will like take this little bitty container tap it into
the lid get the smallest brush apply it like I'm
we like rough you know when it comes to like my makeup I'm not like this gentle
little you know flower and I just don't have time for this
it just bugs me and it is blondie but I swear to you it looks like my goddess of
faith by makeup revolution the one that's in the heart why can I never find
anything just sitting here um but that's what it looks like oh here this it looks
like this one the triple baked highlighter got it's a faith I swear to
you it looks exactly like this on the face is just as intense just as
beautiful you know I just uh I just this the makeup forever has like shimmer not
glitter shimmer in it and this one doesn't and I just feel
like this one looks so much better on my skin than this one so this is just a
pass for me it's just to have maintenance and I thought about keeping
it to like use on my eyes but I have so much glitter and so much shimmer or so
much pigment so much press pigment that I just I just saw just not I'm just not
crazy about it don't shoot me please okay let's talk about mascara I feel
like I have a crap ton of mascara to talk about Dona yes I do so first up I
was so excited about this Lancome Hypnose drama because when I showed this
everyone like commented like it's my favorite it's my Holy Grail top five and
I was like yes I've wanted to try this for years now don't have the actual tube
because it's at work um for those mornings that I forget mascara but it's
so clumpy of course I have it at work so I'm going to use it until it dries up
but it's so clumpy out legit have to scrape that thing down to the bones and
then I'm putting it on and it's just okay like it's just not what I thought
it would be I probably use this for about two weeks now so let me know if I
need to let it dry out a little bit more but it just seems so wet so clumpy it
gives me like those spider lashes that I hate I'm just not impressed by
this at all the other one and the reason I don't have this is because it's
downstairs my bathroom and I don't feel like going to get it everyone was
talking about this at one point and it did go on sale on Aalto which is the
reason I picked it up it is the Tarte maneater mascara it's supposed to give
you voluptuous lashes I don't agree it's that rubbery little skinny wand
that you can get with the covergirl mascara
those wands have never done anything for my lashes now keep in mind my lashes are
very short and very minimum okay so it really takes like something special to
make me like drool over some mascara but I do have some holy girls if you watch
me for a while this one is not one of them so don't waste your money the next
one is this Clinique lash power flutter - full mascara this was a deluxe sample
but I was pretty pumped because one end is supposed to give you lengthening and
the other end is supposed to give you volume first of all both ends look
pretty freakin similar as far as like the wand goes the wands look almost
identical and this mascara feels so heavy on my lids like it just like I
swear the two times that I've worn it I have died to wash it off my eyes I just
did not like the way that it felt and it felt goopy all day like you know how you
have some in your eye and you like pull your lashes well like I would go to pull
my lashes and they would all add bunch together and they still felt wet and
goopy and heavy hook I hate that so much and then the last one now okay this one
gosh it still looks so clumpy but I will say the more that I use this the more
that it's coming around it's got like that hourglass one to it where it's like
fat on the outside skinny and then fat but again so much product like when I
scrape it off I don't know if you can even see in there but when I scrape it
off there is so much crap around the outside of that and then
of course you put it back in and there's just so much crap it's like the stopper
isn't taken enough off of it I actually love the smell it kind of smells like
soap which I thought my eyes would be sensitive to but the more that I use
this the more that I can see it's kind of drying out or maybe I'm getting off
all that crap so this is a fail for me I wanted to mention it because this is YSL
and it's hella expensive and I've just not found a really expensive mascara
that makes me want to pay the price and I said that I would report back after I
had a chance to use it and it's just not worth the money my essence 399 last
princess will blow any of these out of the water so yeah not impressed and then
I forgot to talk about this when I was talking about highlights this is the LA
girl strobe light strobing powder I got the color in 80 watt the first time that
I use this at started to hit hard pan on it which pisses me off um but this has
chunks of glitter it is not pigmented it's very dry it's it's powdery like it
feels like not like it's going to melt into your skin I mean it's just a no-go
for me I'm actually since I'm gonna take these back I'm taking this and something
else back to Ulta but this I would have never taken it back because it's so
affordable but well I'm going I might as well I just don't like it at all I don't
think it's like nice I have plenty of drugstore highlighters that like blow me
away and that is not one of them um let's talk about this real quick because
this is the other thing that I will be taken back to Ulta this is the it
confidence in your glow like bronzer blush highlight trio now I knew that I
wasn't gonna like this but so many people got it for PR and they were
raving about it ding ding ding that should be like the clue phone for me so
I gave in and I bought it and I hate it it's just so muddy it doesn't work for a
bronzer for me it won't work for a blush it's just it's just I just hate products
that are all together anyway so I knew that about myself but I went ahead and
bought it and it just yeah I knew that I wouldn't like it so that is
definitely going back to Ulta so those are the things that have got to brave
Ulta and take back which by the way last time that I was talking about hating to
take stuff back to Ulta I got so many questions like why do you hate to take
stuff back to Ulta my Ulta personally where I live they are not very fond of
people returning things that and alone is very uncomfortable for me when
they're looking at you like you use this you're returning it like what do you
have a return policy if you're going to be pissy and then second of all no one
knows how to do returns so every single time I go to Ulta there's this big a lot
and I walk up in the person's like I need a manager to the front and then
there's all these people staring at me like oh you're returning something it's
just always a frikkin to do okay I've went there one time and got a really
nice chick who was like oh yeah this sucks and she was right there with me
like saying oh yeah this is that someone said they didn't like this that I did it
she was like talking to me and made me feel comfortable and I was just like oh
the first time I didn't feel like my skin was just crawling you know
returning sentence so it's just not fun to return to my Ulta okay so I have some
lip products I want to talk about couple more things were done this lipstick and
I wanted to mention this because I didn't know if they were still available
but I was just in Sephora yesterday and they're there now this is their matte
lipstick I don't know exactly what it's called but it looks like this it's super
skinny colors absolutely beautiful it's in color number four um it's gorgeous
like as soon as I got it and swatch it I was like yes but this wears so horribly
is so drying and it gets that line and it's just it's so uncomfortable I legit
put it on one day when I was filming and then left and like I get in the car like
walk from here to the freakin car and I was like wiping it off and putting gloss
on it is so uncomfortable so that is going back and then also I'm pretty sad
about this this is the Kat Von D lip liner in Lolita I've talked about this
before I was in Sephora yesterday and I was watching Lovecraft's because someone
told me that's more your color but I felt like it was so pink
it wasn't like Lovecraft stick it wasn't like a true moth to me
it leaned a little bit too pink for me and ice washed a couple other ones like
um oh gosh what's the liquid lipstick that everybody loves it I don't bow and
arrow they have bow and arrow lipliner and I
just didn't like it so I think these are just not for me
but it just seems kind of pricey for what it is and it is creamy and it is
nice but it's like think 24 I know it's over 20 and I just wasn't like blown
away maybe it was the color it'll it goes on like super warm on my lips but
um yeah I'm just not not soul buddies and I have ones that are so cheap that
will blow that out of water so that I didn't like and then the other two lip
products that I was excited about that I just did not like were these Bobby Brown
art stick liquid lips now I was excited about these because I love my art sticks
the ones that sharpen I have like three of those so these came out and they're
in like little squeezy tubes and so I got English Rose which is this one which
looks beautiful right well first of all it goes on like super super dark okay so
it doesn't even look like the same color that's in the tube and it is so heavy
like I put it on and then I had to blot it away but even then I didn't like the
color and I was like okay that was a fail but I also got a nude whenever I
order lipstick is like I always have to get it in nude and mauve to try it out
so then I got the color and honey bear so I'm like oh this probably will work
out for me like it is totally a matte color nude in the tube what the heck is
wrong with this color change of these I don't know but it just goes on this like
mmm like a color I just can't pull off it's like this light peachy nude again
super heavy feeling on the lips they don't dry down to like a matte formula
to where they're going to last all day they kind of like move around and I'm
like heavy moving around getting the line separation it was just a
no go for me on those and then I talked about this in my review video but I did
review a lot of products from the new brand pretty vulgar at Sephora I will
link that up above I pretty much liked every item that I tried from the
collection and I'm keeping everything except for this eyeshadow palette I got
the one is this free bird well it's like the rose gold one so these are my colors
I just did not feel like these went on the eyes very easily the look was okay
I'm just like not blown away by this and I have my Naked 3 I have my Carly babble
I just had so many other like mommy colors like this that I love I'm just
not impressed about this product so it will be going back and then lastly I
have the Anasazi of Beverly Hills illuminator in so Hollywood I talked
about this before also I've bought this a while back and it was discontinued and
then they brought it back and everyone talks so much about it that I thought I
was missing out on something so I ordered it again and no it's a no-go
I will not these aren't the same formulas in her glow kits which I love
and I own pretty much all of them except for like moonchild and Aurora which
those are too funky for me but um and I've noticed it's weird the gelee
formula doesn't really last on my face and I don't know if it's because I'm
super oily but swatched this highlighter is just stunning it is my kind of color
it is that true like really champagne e gold like not too gold not
too light it's perfect but I tried it several times I do feel like their
shimmer in it and I don't feel like it lasts on my face so I've given up with
those even though everyone loves them but me I'll add there's one more thing I
brought my bag of lipsticks home from work okay so I took this whole bag of
lips it to work and I wore a lipstick every single day to try these out
because I just felt like I was getting so many new lipsticks and then I was
just like in a rut sticking to what I already love so I took all these to work
and was wearing them every day so I could form an opinion
I do have some favorites but this is not a favorite this is the stellar lipstick
that I got in my haul it's in the color dark matter of one when I first put this
on it's like a covergirl lip stick like a Maybelline lipstick it's not too thick
it's not too thin it's got a little bit of color um I mean when I first put it
on I was kind of like okay you know and it's really pretty but it's over $20 and
I was just like I feel like this is like drugstore quality but then this wasn't
even a light nude which is what usually does this to me where I get that white
line not the separation line not where you can see like the color and the
inside of your lips because that get that a lot
this was like that white line that forms and I don't know why does that with
certain colors and this wasn't even a light nude which is usually what does
that for me and after like an hour I looked in the
mirror and I saw that white line and I was like oh hell no this thing is not
special enough to like work with wipe off the line reapply some colors you
might do that for this is not one of them so yeah not impressed I just wanted
to try the whole line out since it was new and again I mean I tried pretty
vulgar and I absolutely love their lip products I love the lipstick too which
I'm so grateful for your all's feedback because this is a little bit different
for me it was like a pinky nude and I was unsure if I could pull it off but so
many people said they liked it so thank you so much for letting me know because
these I was impressed by and then I put this on and I'm just like you know you
just have those products that you put on and you're just like no like I could buy
this at Rite Aid for $6.99 you know so that is it those are some products that
didn't work out for me personally if you like these videos please give me a

you all know what I did or didn't like so I thought I could just like
accumulate things over a month or two and show you everything I didn't like oh
my gosh I just forgot the one thing I wanted to tell you all so during the
cell I bought the the Dior skin whatever 0:02 I'd argue about 0:01 I thought 0:02
was going to work no it did not work it like disappeared off my skin I snapped
it that day and was showing all of you all on snapchat like look it just
doesn't last on me it looks beautiful when I first put it on but halfway
through the day I had absolutely no highlight on my face so I thought maybe
getting a different color would work for me but I've already returned that
because it was so expensive I was like no I don't even want to keep it it did
not work for me so I think that's it but I feel like I had so much to tell you
