With the recent change, you'd maybe agree;About Google's take; on their design philosophy.

It's dubbed: Material Design A Visual language that helps the UI -

That meant screens weren't locations to load information, But rather a way to see actions with less frustrations.

And that thinking's a gateway to minimalism, Except here - it acts like a living organism;

With its structure and rules For a 2d screen, that was the key: paperlike layers, applied dimensionality

no big surprise It's a design exercise: Conceived with real paper

Thus: cant fold, but cuttable, without blending in, And the added shadows, made to be thin.

Color use guiding the eye - with added complementation And precomposed color palettes for a connected sensation.

Contrast helped small text look nice, But with that added problem, language stayed concise.

That's what good design does:

It stays concise, with clear usability

Who Invented The Selfie? - Duration: 7:10.

- Okay, so, I am much older than my coworker Eric,

but sometimes that just means I'm much wiser.

For example, Eric thought:

Say what you just said again.

- Paris Hilton invented the selfie.

- She didn't invent the selfie.

- Oh my God, yes.

Look, look.

Huh? Huh?

Eleven years ago today.

- [Sarah] Okay.

- [Eric] Paris Hilton and Britney invented the selfie.

There, they're taking the selfie.

- But in 2004, the movie "13 Going on 30" came out,

and that movie has a scene where they take a selfie.

- I've never even heard of that movie, so I doubt it.

- Hold on. I'm going to show it to you.

- [Eric] That's a camera though.

- [Sarah] That's like a selfie from 2004, so.

- I was doing work and now you got me invested in this,

and I need to know like who actually

invented the first selfie.

- I'm gunna find out.

- I need you to find this.

- Ten minutes, baby.

- I'm going to watch this movie for now.

- Wait, you're watching the movie?

- Ya, it seems really good, to be honest.

(upbeat techno music)

- I had to find out who invented the selfie.

I mean I work at BuzzFeed, so it's like my job to do that.

It's not my job to do that specifically,

but I made it my job, today at least.

So, I called BuzzFeed's resident selfie expert.

Hey, Jazz!

- Taking selfies is like really important

to make sure that you're confident when you do it

because, you know, everybody's going to be seeing this.

You want to make sure you find some good lighting.

- Okay, so who?

- And like it's always good if you like

match your background, or like contrast

with your background, you know,

like play off the colors.

- So who invented the selfie?

- I would assume Paris Hilton, but I'm not sure.

- That's not who really invented it.

Like who really invented the selfie, like the first person?

- Is that what you wanted to know the whole time?

You could literally just Google it.

Just go on, type on your little keyboard,

"Who invented the selfie"?

- So I decided to Google it.

Turns out, there's not really a definitive answer,

at least not on the first like two pages

of my Google search results.

Not only did Paris Hilton have nothing to do

with inventing the selfie, she didn't even coin the term.

The first documented use of the term "selfie,"

at least, in print,

was in September 2002 when a user "Hopey" posted

a close-up of his busted lip, writing,

"I had a hole about one centimeter long,

right through my bottom lip.

And sorry about the focus, it was a selfie."

Christian, did you see my slack?

It's the first selfie.

Cool, right?

- That's not a selfie.

- It doesn't look like a selfie as we know it,

but it's just the lips, but it's still.

- Okay, so, Hopey himself says, "It was not a word I coined.

It's something that was just common slang at the time,

used to describe a picture of yourself."

- Okay, well then who coined the term?

- Coining it is different than inventing it.

Think about it.

Like artists for centuries were doing self portraits,

since like before the 1500s.

- Should have paid attention in art class.

According to James Hall, people in the 15th century

were manipulating their self-images,

sometimes making themselves appear younger,

and sometimes casting themselves in biblical roles

because branding is, after all,

the second oldest profession.

More so than, Hopey's busted lip,

these self portraits with their manipulated images

capture the spirit of the selfie.

Albrecht Durer, a self-portraitist

and a well known narcissist,

used to paint himself with long, flowing hair

to appear more Christ like,

although his actual appearance is more reminiscent

of a guy from the early 90s with over-plucked eyebrows

and permed hair, but honestly,

what's wrong with a little selfie manipulation?

When I post a selfie, my teeth are white,

my eyes are big, and my nose is practically non-existent.

I'm basically a Bratz doll.

Rembrandt, Courbet, Van Gogh, they all painted selfies.

Sadly, a few hours into the middle of my research,

I hit a bit of a snag.

It's between Rembrandt, Courbet, and Van Gogh.

- Before you do that, we have to figure out

if like paintings are selfies.

Like have you looked at a definition of what a selfie is?

- Ya, I looked at, of course I looked the definition.

- So, what did it say?

- I didn't look at a definition.

- Alright, so let's look up the definition real quick.

- Alright, good.

- According to Oxford it is a photograph that one

has taken of oneself, typically with a smartphone or webcam

and uploaded to a social media website.

- A selfie has to be a photo.

Everything I've done to this point has been pointless.

- How much time did you put into this?

- We're going to have to time travel forward

a couple hundred years to the invention of the camera.

The first partially successful images were produced

around 1816 by Nicéphore Niépce,

but those negatives didn't even last long.

He used silver chloride,

which darkens when exposed to light.

Those images disappeared.

He was basically the 19th century SnapChat.

So, we can't really say for sure whether Nicéphore Niépce

took that that first selfie

because we don't have the photos anymore.

The Library of Congress believes

the first selfie taken in America

was a photographic portrait by Robert Cornelius in 1839.

Robert had to hold still for 15 minutes

to get the perfect selfie,

which is not too different than how long it takes

to get the perfect selfie today,

since we take like 80 photos on average, maybe 100.

Come here.

- You got the answer?

- Ya, come here.

That's my main man, Robert C. from Philly,

and he took the first selfie in America,

and that's it right there.

- Where's the camera?

- Well he had to like set it,

and then he had to run around and go.

Selfie sticks, that was not a thing.

- He used an Instagram filter and like took credit

for inventing the selfie.

- [Sarah] He didn't.

- It's called a colloidal wet plate.

- That's the filter?

- Paris Hilton is not even the first celeb selfie

because Anastasia Romanov took that in 1914.

- [Christian] Is that a duck face?

- So, she invented the selfie?

- Rob from Philly invented the selfie.

- Ya, well I wouldn't say he invented

the selfie either because actually.

The selfie isn't really an invention; it's a phenomenon.

The inventor isn't a particular person,

it's the Internet, social media,

our own vain narcissistic selves.

And goddammit, we don't want to waste our time waiting

for someone else to take it.

We can take the photo our God damn selves.

So, who invented the selfie?

It's you; you invented the selfie.

- No, no, stop.

I don't want it.

I didn't invent the selfie.

I don't want to start any drama.

- Like capital "you."

- The greater sense of "you."

- Yes, ya, thank you.

Like, ya, humanity, we all did together.

It's like a phenomenon; it's not a person.

- Is that the ending of this, is you just copping out?

- It felt deep when I wrote it.

- This is for a video?

- Ya, it's for a video.

- We are running out of ideas.

- Oh my God.

I guess I didn't really answer the question.

- [Eric] I just made 20 bucks off of Bitcoin.

Can You Actually Die from a Broken Heart? - Duration: 3:31.

[♩INTRO]

It sounds like a scene from a soap opera: someone loses their soul mate,

then passes away in the night, seemingly from a broken heart.

But it's not just a trope of fiction -- broken heart syndrome is real

and in very rare cases, it can even be fatal.

Broken heart syndrome, aka stress-induced cardiomyopathy,

is a weakening of the heart that can cause similar symptoms to regular

cardiomyopathy, or heart muscle disease: chest pain, shortness of breath,

and sometimes changes in heart rhythm.

It's so similar, in fact, that the syndrome wasn't identified until the 1990s.

But there's one key difference.

In stress-induced cardiomyopathy,

patients don't have blocked arteries

the most common cause of heart disease.

And when you X-ray the heart, it looks a bit like a takotsubo,

a type of pot used as an octopus trap in Japan.

Which is why the syndrome is also sometimes called

Takotsubo cardiomyopathy.

The shape comes from a temporary enlargement of the heart,

especially the left ventricle

the largest and strongest of the four chambers in your heart.

Normally, bigger might sound better,

but in this case the left ventricle becomes enlarged

because the muscle tissue isn't working as well

it's become less elastic and weaker,

so it can't pump with as much force as normal.

We still don't know exactly how this enlargement happens,

but the leading hypothesis is the sudden release of catecholamines,

like adrenaline, what's often called the "fight or flight" response to stress.

Catecholamines increase blood flow to the muscles and raise heart rate

and blood pressure to prepare your body to react to potential threats.

But in cases of broken heart syndrome, these catecholamines go overboard

for some reason, interfering with the muscles' ability to contract.

It's typically provoked by a profound emotional event or trauma

like the death of a loved one, getting fired, or abuse

hence the name "broken heart syndrome."

That said, it can happen after any type of stress,

even if it seems mild, like locking yourself out of your house.

And the event doesn't even have to be bad.

Takotsubo cardiomyopathy can happen after happy moments, too,

like being surprised at a birthday party or hitting the jackpot at a casino.

There's still a lot we don't know about broken heart syndrome,

but one thing researchers have learned

is that it mostly happens in older women.

They're not totally sure why, but it may have something to do

with lower levels of the hormone estrogen, which helps regulate stress.

As women get older, their estrogen levels drop off.

So they're more likely to be deeply affected by a stressful event

and to experience stress-induced side effects like broken heart syndrome.

But that doesn't explain why it rarely happens in men,

who generally have very low levels of the hormone.

So estrogen is just one piece of the puzzle.

If all this talk of death by broken heart is freaking you out a little,

just know that it's super rare, and life-threatening cases are even rarer.

Most cases resolve on their own in a few weeks,

though doctors usually monitor people just to be safe.

So, as the saying goes, time does heal a broken heart.

Or at least, it usually heals broken heart syndrome.

who always have a special place in our non-broken hearts.

Create the Scarlet Hoop Earrings by Fusion Beads - Duration: 4:59.

[Mari] Hi, welcome to Fusion Beads.

I'm Mari Eriksson, and I'm excited to show you

how to make the Scarlet Hoop Earrings.

These have a really nice large hoop

with a teardrop focal point.

They're really fun to customize

if you want a different color crystal in this bottom bezel.

We're gonna learn how to glue in the crystal,

and then you'll have a fun, sparkly pair of earrings

to give as a gift or keep for yourself.

(cheerful music)

To make the Scarlet Hoop Earrings,

you will need two of the 14 millimeter

Scarlet Swarovski Crystal Teardrop Fancy Stones,

two of the Pewter Organic Pear Bezels by Nunn Design,

two of the Brass Large Hoop Open Frames by Nunn Design,

and two six millimeter gold-filled 18 gauge open jump rings

and a pair of the 21 millimeter gold-filled french hoop

with a two millimeter bead by TierraCast.

So the first thing I'm going to do

is to glue in my Swarovski crystals into the bezels

using an E6000 glue.

So I like to use a little post-it note,

and I can just put a little dab on there,

and that's probably enough for both of your bezels.

And then I use a toothpick,

and this is an open bezel,

so you wanna try and keep the glue

just on this inside rim,

so that you don't get a lot poking through the back

after you put your crystal in.

So I'm gonna pick this up with my toothpick,

and just go around the inside.

Just like that.

And then I want to set my crystal in just

as perfect as I can, so it doesn't move around too much.

There we go.

And then you can kind of push it down

to make sure it's in there.

Now we can check the back side to make sure there isn't

a lot of glue poking out.

If you do have some,

just take the clean side of your toothpick

and kind of get it outta there.

There.

Okay.

So I'm gonna set this aside for a minute while I

get my jump ring,

and even though this takes ab 24 hours to cure,

you can still finish your earrings while it's setting.

So take your large loop.

I love these large loops,

come in silver and gold, super fun.

I'm gonna use two chain nose pliers.

It's the best way to open a jump ring.

Open it to the side, and then slip on your pendant.

Gonna hold it here.

And then while it's still open,

slip on your big hoop.

And then we're gonna close that up.

Can kinda wiggle it back and forth

so you get it closed well.

Okay.

So, here we are so far.

Now all we have to do is add our ear wire.

And these ones have a big enough loop

where they can go right over our hoop.

Open that up,

stick your hoop in there,

close it back up, and then,

maybe a little bit with your chain nose there.

Oh, and look what I did, I did it backwards.

So, let's redo that, 'cause that's an easy mistake to make,

and I've done that many times.

Just flip your hoop around,

and close that back up, and,

there we go, now it's hanging the correct way.

So we've got one here.

You just need to do it again for the second earring.

And this earring can be made in gold and silver,

whatever you like.

We have these pieces and many more

at FusionBeads.com.

Gaming YouTubers NEWS OVERVIEW #3/3 (04.Dec.2017 - 01.Jan.2018) - Duration: 4:32.

Was December too stressful to watch all 100 videos

with over 20 hours of the most

popular Gaming YouTubers?

No problem!

I'm humaldo

and in this third and final video

of my Gaming YouTubers News Overview

I'll show you what you missed!

I had the idea for this series last November,

and thought I'd just try it out.

It was fun and I got lots of positive feedback,

but I decided to finish the series in this form

and try something new after this last episode.

So, here we go:

Wood Hawker aka BeatEmUps is on the wave of success.

At the end of November he just

cracked 100,000 subscribers,

and meanwhile he is already heading

for the 150,000! Completely deserved,

his videos are really great.

Since my last GAMING YOUTUBERS NEWS OVERVIEW episode,

he has released 11 videos with a total length

of over 2 hours,

including a DOOM version comparison

10 recommendable Switch eShop Games

and 5 3DS Games worth to buy,

A Game Awards recap, a WWE Slam,

and a refusal to review Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

Blunty released over 3.5 hours of gaming related material last December

and started with three

tutorials on video streaming.

The second focus besides streaming was on virtual reality,

for which he published 5 videos.

He also played FAR CRY 5 and streamed the Minecraft-like

YLANDS.

The December of Boogie2988 was marked by personal events

and the return of his alter ego Francis.

Boogie brings it to 14 videos and 2.5 hours,

his gaming themes revolve around Detroit: Become Human,

Destiny 2, Loot Boxes, the Game Awards, the Lightseeker card game and his

best 10 games of the year 2017.

Jim Sterling has once again published too much content to go into detail.

In his last 25 videos, which run for a total of more than 4 hours,

he covers Skyrim, Cyborg Arena, Battle Front 2,

Destiny 2, The Game Awards, Half Life 3, A Hat in Time, Rift, Net Neutrality,

Loot Boxes, Milky Boobs, Pubg, Deep Dark Fight, White Day, The Chosen Warriors and his

top ten shittiest games of 2017.

Alpha Omega Sin's output was again quite low in December,

he just released one video about

Net Neutrality.

Quite the opposite of Jon from Spawn Wave

- yes, I finally know his real name -

Who has released 20 videos with over 2 hours of

running time in addition to the daily NewsWave Videos.

Jon talks about the finally hacked PlayStation 4,

5 Switch games that disappeared,

The Nyko Metal Kickstand, takes apart the "300 in 1 Bittboy" and Evan takes a look at

the BenQ 1080 HDR Monitor.

There were also numerous Spawn Wave Plays episodes,

too many to list all of them here.

Just visit the the channel of SpawnWave,

you won't be disappointed.

MetalJesusRocks also released just over 2 hours

of material in the last 4 weeks.

He and his team talk about their most popular

developer studios (besides Nintendo),

30 exclusive Playstation 2 games,

the most disappointing game console ever,

a PS4 Buying Guide,

Nintendo Switch Accessories,

upcoming Q1 2018 games

and the 400 Dollar Ultra HMDI Kit for the

Nintendo 64.

And we've arrived at the last YouTuber,

PewDiePie released 9 gaming-relevant videos with a total

length of 3.5 hours.

He deals with the Game Awards and plays Getting over it,

Doki doki Literature Club, Finding Paradise, The Impossible Quiz,

Hello Neighbor, L. A. Noire VR,

Animal Super Squad and VR Chat.

So we are at the end of the very last

Gaming YouTubers News Overview episode,

I hope you enjoyed it!

But don't worry, I will continue to report about my

favorite gaming YouTubers in the future,

only in a slightly different format.

If you are curious about what it will look like,

just keep an eye on my channel and

please consider subscribing,

that would be totally awesome!

Suggestions and feedback are always

welcome as comments down below.

I am humaldo, and I thank you for watching!

See you next time!

Bye!

Learn how to create the Eila Swirl Earrings by Fusion Beads - Duration: 5:16.

[Mari] Hi, welcome to Fusion Beads.

I'm Mari Eriksson, and I'm excited to show you

how to make the Eila Swirl Earrings.

The Eila Swirl Earrings

can be made in silver or gold,

and if you wanna customize it further,

you can also choose a different color Swarovski

pear-shaped pendant at the bottom.

I will be making the silver pair for us today.

Let's get started.

(instrumental music)

To make the Eila Swirl Earrings,

we will be using the 14 by 10 millimeter

royal blue shiny Swarovski crystal pair fancy stone,

the Pewter Organic Pear Bezel by Nunn Design

in the antique silver,

the Pewter Spiral Swirl Link by Nunn Design

in the antique silver,

the five millimeter silver plated base metal

18 gage open jump ring.

And for our ear wires today,

we're going to use a four millimeter

sterling silver ball post earring with a ring,

and this has the four millimeter silver clutch as well.

Okay, let's get started.

So, we first need to glue in our

Swarovski crystal stones into our open-backed Nunn bezel.

So to do this, I like to use a little post-it note,

and I just put a little bit of the E6000 glue on here.

And then I'm going to use a toothpick

to appl the E6000 just to the inside of this bezel.

Because it's an open back,

we wanna be careful not to use too much glue,

because it can squish out the back.

And just start putting on there.

It's pretty thick, so it's not going to go right through.

It will really go where you placed it.

And I've gotten it all the way around.

There we go.

Now I'm gonna take my stone and just

drop it right in.

I'm gonna try and just get it in there

and just push on it a little bit.

Now let's look at the back.

Now it looks good.

There's no glue coming through.

If you do get some glue that comes through,

just take the clean side of your toothpick

and kind of get it out this way.

Okay, so we can put the glue aside.

We're gonna let this dry.

It really takes about 24 hours

for your glue to set,

but you can still finish your earrings

even when while that's setting up.

So next we're going to attach our

bezel to our swirl.

And we want our swirls to be in mirror images.

So that when you put them up into your ears,

they hang correctly.

I'm just gonna show you here with this pair that's made.

You can kind of imagine.

Okay.

So let's open our jump ring

using our chain-nose plier.

I like to use two of those.

And we're going to slip on our bezel,

and then

slip on our link,

and then close this back up.

And then our last step is to attach our

post earring wire.

So that has an open loop on it

that I'm just gonna turn out to the side.

And it's sterling silver, so it's really soft.

So be careful when you do that.

I'm gonna put on my link,

and then I'm going to close it back up.

It's a little tricky because it's very small,

but doable.

This is what we have so far.

And don't forget that you need your clutch to go on there.

There.

So for the other side,

you're going to do the same thing.

Just make sure that you hang your link in a mirror image.

And for these earrings, you can make them in silver,

and you can also make them in gold.

Let's show all those.

You can find all this and more at FusionBeads.com.

Skincare Tips | Dr Mona Vand feat The Skinny Confidential - Duration: 15:20.

Hi guys it's Dr. Mona I'm here with Lauryn skinny confidential. Hi! So today

we're doing this entire video on skincare

so today we're doing this

entire video on skincare because I finally met my skincare match in a

person yes we don't go on the Sun we don't go in the Sun we both care just

we're like equally as obsessed with skincare in a healthy kind of unhealthy

way but it's fine I might have a weird like thing with it I'm wearing driving

gloves at like 6 o'clock at night yes I was telling her earlier

that I've even hit a car when I was driving so I was trying to protect my

face and couldn't see but you got to do it you got to do that's GOAL I'm jealous

you hit a car... I really am! I'm like kind of proud of the story cuz I told it twice today

yeah I like it! Uhm so I thought would be really cool I love your content I love that you

always talk about facial massage think your thing. LOVE facial massage I cannot

wait to talk to your audience about it so I feel like you incorporate it with

your serums with your products right totally so what I do every morning is I

don't put makeup on until I do facial massage because I found that when I do

facial massage it D bloats your entire face so I had jaw surgery probably three

to four years ago and I'm still swollen from it so when I wake up in the morning

I have to do something that's super deep loading and facial massage I lose like

20 pounds in my face and does it happen around your eyes too but everyone gets

the puffiness around their eyes everyone hates that totally so you'll see a lot

of people with bags under their eyes and they say it's because they have lack of

sleep but it's actually because they need lymphatic drainage and that's what

facial massage is gonna do it's gonna drain all the fluid in your face and get

that out and that's moving it and moving the circulation and the blood flow

that's even that's kind of similar with like something like

cellulite when you're doing that deep massage and you're getting rid of that

drainage that's what can help the lumps look better the dimples look better so

it's kind of the same concept totally yes so when you're using different skin

care products there is a method to make it you know look better you can make it

react better on your skin to prevent sagging on your skin to make sure you're

completely protected so I just brought a bunch of random skin care products of

mine she's got some of her tools and we'll go from like step 1 to 97 of skincare

I'm into it! Let talk skin it's like my favorite subject in the whole

world so let's let's do like a nighttime routine you get home you have makeup on

do you use makeup remover do you use oil with what's your thing I don't wear a lot

of makeup like it's not something I wear every single day mm-hmm but if I come

home and I just got off the shoot and I have makeup on I like to get in the

shower because I actually take my skincare down to here all the way to my

shoulders all the way to my hands I mean that's how nuts I am that's like what we

were going to talk about later I'm glad you even said it like not don't scare the

audience they're like this is so overwhelming. Do you do that morning and night so are you always

doing always you do two showers a day? I don't do it in the morning I like to

shower at night so what I'll do is I'll come home and I'll take a shower right

now I'm trying out Dr. Lancers products I actually read his book younger

which you have to read I love him oh the book is so good and he talks about his three-step

method and that's exfoliating cleansing and nourishing so I get in the shower

and I oil cleanse first which has nothing to do with him I use grapeseed

oil from Whole Foods like the raw cold pressed okay

pour it all over your face just regular grapeseed oil

it's from the oil aisle see I have an oil cleanser but whatever if I don't

have this on me I'll use coconut oil just it's a better idea if you're taking

makeup off to use this when you're using a makeup removing wipe you probably

notice you're tugging and pulling it doesn't get everything off this is just

such a gentle way to remove makeup totally and if you don't have this in

your traveling mm-hmm you can use olive oil from room service oh my god amazing

because they don't always have coconut oil

get Oliver yeah I'm like can I get a side of olive oil it's for my salad at 11 o'clock at

night. Amazing! Best tip ever. oh so you just remove all your makeup and I really try to go like this

instead of like this and we talked about this earlier I mean you were saying like

you you hate wipes like me I hate it because I see myself pulling it I mean

always try to push up but even the pulling and the tugging can cause like

creases and lines and your skin it's just something you want to avoid totally

so the wipes are a no no the olive oils are in and the grapeseed oils in I do it in the

shower I just get all that makeup off and then obviously I'm gonna have a

little bit more makeup on and that's where the exfoliant comes in and that's

gonna scrub the oil away yeah and all like your makeup and anything

else that's on there and I take that down to my neck I take it down to my

shoulders and if you read Dr. Lancers book younger he'll explain why the

shoulders are so important all this area that you want to stay

youthful so neck your chest your hands I mean I don't get down to my toes I'm

just kidding and I exfoliate so if they're like an exfoliator you use cuz I

want to know your tips too! I honestly so there's like there's chemical exfoliator

and there's physical exfoliator a chemicals the one you're gonna feel with

those beads that's when you're actually gonna feel like the outside skin coming

off the physical is something like a retinol or glycolic acid that's actually

like getting into your cells and exfoliating on the inside so I'll use a

physical like maybe twice a week and a chemical maybe two or three times a week

the one thing with oil make sure that I always double cleanse I use an oil

obviously and then an actual cleanser after whether it's an exfoliant just to

make sure you get all that residue off that way you'll prevent breakouts some

people are scared of oil because of the breakouts don't be scared as long as you

get it all off you're completely fine if I'm not in the shower when I use an oil

cleanser I always do the white washcloths trick all of my white towels

are ruined me and I will not stop washing my face until there's nothing on

it I love it I'll wipe my face and there's like any residue of makeup it

gets really confusing when I have a spray tan because I just keep rubbing

and it's my spray tan but don't think that! The struggle is so is so real

clearly in this situation but anyway I'll keep wiping until there's no

and then I'll move on to something else so we got the oil taken care of so due

to your oil cleansing to take your makeup off screw the wipes do an

exfoliant or cleanser I do an exfoliant right now cuz I'm doing that three-step

method sometimes it's different but I actually have a tip and I'm sure you

already know this but you know that on St. Eve's apricot smell or the scrub

that's horrible it's so rough the beads are fake well I mean they're like

synthetic beads well it says so apricot kernels yes so I'm on a mission because

I know a lot of people use that don't use that on your skin it's really bad

for it not that you use that I mean I don't I wouldn't but I mean I'm

surprised I can say maybe there was like an essence of apricot kernel that's a

good good tip in general just because it says some things in it it could be the

smallest amount and there could be a lot of other things so totally you know it's

like food yeah right they say that it's like you know essence of vanilla and

it's actually a vanilla sugar. You know what I mean exactly so I'm definitely do your

research on that so then I cleanse yep get out of the shower and here's

something I get asked a lot they say well what if you still have mascara

under your eyes so then I actually put oil underneath my eyes when I get out of

the shower and just make sure that all that mascaras often give myself like a

little bit of massage underneath my eyes that's really smart because when's the

last time you've got like a pimple around here like that's not where you

break out so you don't have to be as concerned and oils super nourishing and

this is like a really sensitive area so it's really smart to do yeah it works

really well. Put it on your lips too - yeah so dry right now oh my god I've

been doing coconut oil like everything on my lip so we're both complaining

about it it's weather it's tough it's so dry yeah and then after I do that it

comes to I always say this word wrong but I'm gonna say and how I say it and

serum I like, you know what I like that you say it

that way it's like you I'm going to serum you say serum. But it's like your thing

okay I pronounce everything wrong. I like it! And that's when I do the facial

massage and I do it at night too and so I use this it looks like a big

vibrator I turn it to turbo and I just go up and I have my serum on already so

it's like has feels like a wheel you know what I'm saying so it's not like

dry circuit right because if it's rubbing as your skin you might feel like

it's pulling totally and I don't wait to pull so the serum goes with its arm

serum does that I just go up and I go I go down my neck and then I go up too but

I'm just trying to get all that fluid out and then this is my opal I think

it's sold out but I'm obsessed with this and you put eye serum in here and then you

just go around your eyes these two things are going to make any bloat in

your face completely disappear I heard that Kim Kardashian her face is so contoured

and tight she goes to a place in New York where they actually do 30 minutes

of facial massage before she goes to an event. So, oh yeah facial massage I'm

telling you it's like if I can be on like this mission it's so life-changing

if you don't have one of these this is obviously better put on a serum and just

really like massage up like you can put it in your fingers massage an upward

direction be gentle but firm at the same time as long as you're not tugging on

your skin totally and you can also use your hands like you just said I don't

want people to feel like they have to spend a ton of money for facial massage

it's something that I did for years free and I didn't even know I was really

doing it until I started realizing that without it it wasn't good so after that

I actually put on more serum after that you can layer 3 for Sur the key is I

would wait like maybe a minute in between products just to like let one

settle in my serums are amazing what what do you do you have like two or

three that you always use so right now I'm using I mean Dr. Lancers more like a

moisturizer so I'm kind of mixing that with the serum and I'm using Dr.

Dennis gross right now I love it and it's vitamin C and collagen and all

those things I think it has hyaluronic acid and I that's what this one is too

amazing acid and what is this one this one's just Drunk Elephant I use Drunk

Elephants good I used to Sulwhasoo which is good but hyaluronic acid every single

person should be using and your serum like even if you're using other things

add that to it because you just can't get enough of it I love my skin eats a

yeah it like sucks it right into your skin immediately really quick on serums

there's liquid base here which is like more of like your traditional serum and

then there's oils which some people call serums and oils a little bit different

your like liquid serum the one you use for massage that should be the one that

goes under your moisturizer if you're using an oil I would use this either

with your moisturizer or after but because it's thicker you don't want to

use this as like your first base you always want to go from like light to

heavy that's such a good tip water-based serum then your moisturizer then your

oil great tip I love that great okay so how do we still learn more like there's

always still so much know is the skincare to me is so fascinating because

there's so much you can learn and then I just put eye cream on always cuz it's

your eyes ring finger ring finger which I try to use sometimes this too and I

bring everything down to my shoulders and neck and hands if you're in your 40s

or 50s 30s even watching this and you're starting to notice like color spots

age spots like sun damage you understand like and you wish you would have done

this at a younger age so if you're watching this and you're not concerned

just start now and you'll thank yourself later I mean this is what I say to girls

that read the skinny confidential that are 18 I say do you want to look the way

you look in 20 years okay yes and I'm like then bring it down to your hands

and neck know what I mean exactly like let's do this yeah and let's stay out of

the Sun and not go in the tanning bed we had Dr. Dennis on our podcast and he

says the key to youth is staying out of the Sun literally it's like the key it's

the number one thing you could do for anti-aging and it's free so it's pretty

it's a free tip I mean you could buy a ski mask

like I haven't wear it around Cabo that's the best thing the best thing oh

my god I love it I am I like hate floppy hats but won't

go anywhere without one she's because I'd rather I'd rather look so dorky and

than to be in the Sun you know what that's a good tip on sunscreen so sunscreen

should be your absolute last step especially if it's like a physical like

kuznick oxide because you want it to actually block the Sun obviously you

wear makeup over what I would do is put on your sunscreen and try to wait like 5

or 10 minutes to really let it absorb and one thing you know a lot of people

put eye cream on their eyes and then avoid that area but don't neglect the

under eyes with your sunscreen because this is the area that's like most

susceptible to wrinkles it's most sensitive yet we forget about it when it

comes to sunscreen so when you're putting this on like literally go from

here all the way down cuz like the under eyes and the chest and the neck are what

people complain about aging the most and we kind of forget about it we just like

stick to the cheeks totally don't be afraid to put it on your ears on your

eyelids on your lips on your hands I mean I do I do that I wear. I have

sunscreen on my chapstick - amazing like all these things need protection I mean

I actually you're gonna think this is batshit um I have a sunscreen

that's a leave-in conditioner for my hair I actually haven't gotten to that

but I'm like super into it look.

I just think the Sun is aging in every way

my chihuahua lays in th Sun and she has sunspots I mean I mean really serious she has

sunspots she's always in the Sun and I'm always moving her around she loves it

but it really does give you those sunspots and it cancers there's so many

different things right guys so a lot of negative things get your incidental sun

exposure when your walking to 7-Eleven to fill your gas

tank and even then wear sunscreen yeah the kind of sunscreen that I really like

right now is caffeinated. I like it because it tightens your face I'm always

looking for things that are going to contour and tighten my face for blow and

caffeinated sunscreen has really done that for me

that sounds so enticing I've never tried any would love it but other than that

other than wear a hat I mean those are my skin tips pretty much it I wear I

keep a baseball cap in my car at all times and weights and obviously only

blocks a little bit but whatever you can do just be obsessive about it because

it's worth it it's your skin you're leaning with it and I think if you want

like little tools that you can buy that are under $20 I love a Jade roller let

me put mine in the frigerator so it's cold amazing it's the same thing as like

want something swollen you put ice on it it's literally the same concept but it's

just something that's a tool for your face and if you can't afford that

literally dump your head into a bucket of ice water all the supermodels do that

to tighten the face that's amazing it works so well um green tea bags on the

eyes I love a nice roller have you tried that? No! Uhm yeah try a nice roller I think

you would like that if you put it in the freezer and roll your face it's just

like ice it's just like this roller that holds cold so it helps fight

inflammation well that sounds nice I'm always looking to tighten and plump and

make it tight and right so alright I hope you guys enjoy this video all of
