How To Play Faster On Bass - Fretting Hand Tip That Will Help Improve Your Speed On The Bass Guitar - Duration: 7:49.

what's up everybody Posido here with Inspire Bass helping you to advance and

inspire on the bass so you want to know you can play faster on the bass well in

this video I'm going to show you a crucial fretting hand tip that will get

your fingers gliding along your fretboard and putting you on the path to

playing faster on the bass okay at any point in the video if you find this

information helpful let me know with a thumbs up or a comment below let's check

it out okay so a common mistake that a lot of

bass players make is that they "squeeze their fretboard to death" they really

like got this "death grip" on their fretboard and although the bass guitar

is a demanding instrument you really do not need to exert a lot of effort with

your fretting hand actually and the freer your fretting hand is the faster

you're ultimately gonna be able to play okay so here's a crucial tip that can

get your fretting hand to glide a lot more but or freely over your fretboard

it's gonna put you on a path to playing faster on the bass and it really boils

down to this know exactly how much pressure is really needed in order to

play a clean sound on your on your bass okay how much pressure is really needed

to make a note sound so here's how you do that you're gonna start out by laying

your hand or your finger on your on your fretboard okay and I'm just gonna start

I'm not actually pressing the note yet I'm just laying my finger on it okay and

I'm just going to pluck the string now right now because I'm on a harmonic

you're gonna hear her come on if I was here you might hear just more of like a

muted note okay so at this point right now there's not enough pressure because

we don't really have the notes sounding quite yet right so

then I'm gonna just slowly exert just a little bit more pressure and keep

plucking and I'm gonna keep going until I start to now make contact with the

fret okay so now this this is starting to make some sort of clicking sound

because the string is not quite pressing against the fret and when I pluck it

it's hitting now against the fret okay I'm continuously slowly increasing the

pressure of my finger and now I have a sound okay and one thing you can notice

is I'm not really using my I'm actually not using my thumb at all okay so I'm

not squeezing actually I'm just increasing the pressure okay so how do I

do that that's really just coming from the gravity and the weight of my hand

okay so if my hand if I were just to let it just rest it's just gonna rest on the

fret okay my thumb is very free so I'm not squeezing but start out with no

pressure and slowly letting the weight of your hand just take over until it

makes contact with the fret okay and now I have a note a clean sounding

note this is the exact pressure that is needed in order to create a clean

sounding note and you want to find that for your specific base or your

instrument you'll notice that I can press as hard as I want I can squeeze

the heck out of it and then though it is still the same okay so it's unnecessary

to squeeze your base just find how much pressure is needed to play that note

okay so start out with mute or a dead note slowly increase the pressure and I

have contact now try that now with your next finger and your next finger okay

and what we're looking for is a note that's a clean sounding note minimal to

no fret where buzz at all that's your sweet spot that's really how much

pressure you want to find again notes thumb I mean your thumb is really just

the guide really so a lot of people will say you know put your thumb here it

doesn't really matter to be honest in my opinion if your fingers are curved

slightly and you just allow the gravity of your hand to just rest on your

fretboard you're gonna have enough strengths actually so I'm not actually

using any strength from my fingers I'm just letting gravity happen okay there's

a second there's another thing to also note with this eye you'll notice when I

play I actually will put my finger as close as possible to the fret or maybe

even sometimes on the fret okay now here's why I do that and I recommend if

you explore this as well if my fret if my finger is for instance placed in the

middle of the fret which I see a lot of bass players do look what hap this'n to

the note if I sound the note I'm gonna squeeze it harder did you hear

that the note actually becomes sharp because there's there's there's a

distance there's a larger distance from this middle fret if I squeeze it really

hard and make the string try to touch the fretboard this string will become

more taut or tighter and it will it'll make your note sound sharper

but if my finger is above the fret or just behind the fret it's impossible for

me to go any further the fret stops me from from going any further so even if I

were squeezing the note just even harder than I typically would it's not going to

get sharper at all the note will still stick stay the same yeah okay so that's

that's how you're gonna easily get your hand your fingers to glide along your

fretboard okay so it's really a number of things a few things but really the

main thing is know exactly how much pressure it requires for your hand to or

your fingers to sound a note okay and you're gonna do that by sounding a dead

note and slowly increasing your pressure until you sound a note that pressure is

going to be increased by just simply just allowing gravity to take to pull

your hand down okay my thumb is really just a guide and I'm not squeezing with

my thumb at all okay and my finger is going to be placed as close as possible

to the fret and that's really to ensure that the fret stops me from stops the

string from going down any further actually okay plus there's another thing

another reason why that is - the distance between the string and the fret

it's it's so quick it's so close so your finger will feel that fret and it just

it'll tell you you know okay you've already made contact you don't need to

go any further so it can kind of almost teach you to to

have a lighter touch with your fretting hand okay so I hope you found that

helpful let me know in the comments section below or give me a thumbs up

definitely subscribe for more videos just like this until next time keep

advancing and inspiring the bass I'll see you soon

so you want to know how you can play faster on the bass won this video I'm

BREAKING!! TRUMP IS DOING IT!! DEPORTING Famous CELEB!!! - Duration: 5:36.

BREAKING!!

TRUMP IS DOING IT!!

DEPORTING Famous CELEB!!!

During Barack Obama's presidency, he did all he could to destroy this nation, and he

got pretty darn close to it.

Obama not only pushed back race relations decades with his manufactured race war, but

he also allowed floods of illegals to pour into our country unvetted and unchecked so

they could vote for Democrats in upcoming elections.

After years of witnessing this disgusting disregard for our nation's laws, President

Trump is in charge and working hard to fix the mess Obama allowed.

President Trump has been busy overturning Obama-era programs that benefitted everyone

else in the world, but the American people.

Over this past summer, on the chopping block was the Obama-era CIA program that helped

arm rebels who were fighting the Syrian government.

Then there was the Paris Climate Accord and NAFTA that only protected foreign interests

over America, and Trump has just been in office for less than a year.

However, the most significant cut of the year was Obama's hotly contested Deferred Action

for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) that caused the left to disintegrate into hysterics.

So much so that these Democrats have shut the government down until Trump grants these

Dreamers amnesty.

Not to be deterred by the shameless blackmail from the left Trump is pressing on and is

now deporting celebrities with an illegal immigrant status sending a clear message that

he is not one to trifle with, and all we can say is hell yeah!

Over the last several years, the left has flipped the illegal immigration argument on

its head by making those that cross the border victims instead of criminals.

They have brainwashed an entire generation efficiently into believing that these illegals

have every right to be here and the American taxpayer needs to open their wallet to pay

for them.

There have been marches in the streets, violent protests, and now a government shutdown to

keep these criminals here but that has not stopped Trump from making sure those that

are here illegally go back to where they came from, and it is about time.

Two illegals that have been able to gain notoriety for their liberal activism have been detained

and are now being deported by the Trump administration after being passed over for years by ICE agents

under the Obama administration.

Here is more from Conservative Tribune:

Ravidath Ragbir and Jean Montrevil, both prominent figures within the pro-illegal immigration

group New Sanctuary Coalition of New York City, were detained and deported by Immigration

and Customs Enforcement after years of being allowed to stay in the country at the discretion

of federal officials — in spite of the fact that both had been convicted of serious crimes.

According to the New York Daily News, Ragbir was detained by ICE on Jan. 11 and informed

that his reprieve from deportation would not be extended further.

Ragbir, executive director of New Sanctuary, was checking in at the ICE office in New York

City when he was detained.

While Ragbir had immigrated to the United States legally back in 1991 from Trinidad

and Tobago, he was convicted of wire fraud in 2000, according to The New York Times.

Ragbir received a deportation order in 2006, but in 2011 ICE officials in New York City

gave him a reprieve of deportation.

That reprieve was extended last April, but ICE officials informed Ragbir that reprieve

would not be extended further.

A judge will now decide his fate.

One week later, Haitian national Jean Montrevil — a co-founder of New Sanctuary — was

deported after being taken into custody in early January.

Montrevil, who had entered the United States in 1986, had served time on a drug possession

charge and was in the process of appealing a deportation order.

According to The Intercept, Montrevil's lawyer said his client "believed that he

had reached an understanding with ICE officials."

The general consensus among members of the activist community was that these arrests

were targeted acts.

Well, of course, they feel that the acts were targeted, but that could not be further from

the truth.

In fact, these two "activists" were breaking the law by living in the country illegally

and had been passed over numerous time for deportation in the past.

This was not a vendetta against them but rather a president FINALLY enforcing our immigration

laws that have been ignored for almost a decade and more.

However, there is more to the story as there always is when you are dealing with lying

leftists.

These two illegals are not as lily white as they are trying to paint them.

Mr. Montrevil and Mr. Ragbir brought are both criminals who have served time in prison so

under our laws they get a free pass back to their home country.

According to The New York Times, Montrevil served five years in prison when he was sentenced

to 11 for drug possession, and Ragbir spent time in the pokey for embezzling $400,000.

Both of these men committed crimes and served prison sentences which should have had them

deported in the beginning, but they were lucky and flew under the radar.

Now, their luck has run out, and they are heading back to where they came from, and

if their families are upset, that is on them.

These two men had every opportunity to become legal citizens, but they chose not to, and

now they have to face the consequences of their actions despite their "celebrity"

status.

VINE Memories - Duration: 3:29.

Grandpa, what is this?

Oh, this..

This is a Vine compilation that

I burned to a DVD

back in the day.

Vine? That's a weird name.

Boy, I will uppercut you!

You best put some respeckt on Vine's name!

Vine was an app and was easily one of the greatest things to ever happen to this world.

And those 6-second videos

was the single source of happiness in my life at that time.

6-seconds long? That's boring..

See, but that's what made Vine so great!

You would watch video after video and you would tell yourself,

"I'm only going to watch one more Vine"

And next thing you know 4 hours had passed.

I was wasted so much of my youth on that app.

But I have no regrets because it brought me so much laughter

and so much joy into my life.

I remember my friends and I would hangout

and we would share the different Vines that we came across.

And we would laugh the night away.

And that app created some of the most impactful video content to exist on the internet.

You had Vines like the 'crackhead kid', the 'okay' guy, and the 'dancing girl'

And that's just to name a few.

But, as great as Vine was..

We took it for granted

And people slowly started leaving Vine

eventually it got to the point where they had to shut the app down.

and that

that marked the end of the Vine era.

Promise me

promise me that you won't make the same mistake that we did.

Because you don't know what you have until it's gone..

LOST IN STONE TOWN, ZANZIBAR VLOG - Duration: 6:33.

- To the other.

- What's goin' on, man?

- How you doin'?

- How you doin'?

What was your name?

- Stefan - Stefan? Brad.

- Hi, Brad. Good to meet you. - Cheers, man. Cheers.

(ethereal hip hop)

- Cheers, guys.

Sugarcane juice, right here, 1000 shillings.

And um, freshly squeezed with a lime.

And if you want, you can have your vodka in there, as well.

- [Aubrey] Nice. (chuckles)

- [Stefan] Everywhere you go,

you've have vloggers, these days.

(laughing)

From the one blogger to the other.

- What's goin' on. Man?

- How you doin'? - How you doin'?

What was your name? - Stefan.

- Stefan? Brad. - Hi, Brad.

Good to meet you. - Cheers, man. Cheers, man.

Where you from?

- I'm from South Africa, but we're sailing

around the world on a boat.

- Are you really?

- Yeah, we're a sailing channel called

Sailing Miss Lone Star.

- I'm gonna write that down.

- Yeah, you've gotta look it up.

- And you're obviously vlogging that journey, yeah?

- Oh, yeah.-- - [Aubrey] Yeah here,

I've got a card for you.

- Alright, hold it. I love this

- What are you guys, doing?

- No, I'm actually here on my own.

But I just climbed Kilimanjaro.

- Oh you did? - Yeah, man, so I--

- [Aubrey] Oh, awesome! - I know, right?

So I was literally just going- - Well we can see

your in good shape, that's right.

(laughing) How was it?

- Yeah but I actually put on two kilos doin' that.

- You did? - Yeah.

- How was it? How was the climb?

- It was epic, man.

Yeah, it was hard.

Like it was eight days. - Yeah.

- And it was every emotion you could imagine.

- Oh, shit. - Like--

- Climb Kilimanjaro - Man, I've never cried

on a mountain before.

Ever.

- But this time you did.

- Yeah, I cried.

Like seeing the sunrise, just before the summit,

was the most emotional thing, for me.

- Really? - Yeah, from the whole trip.

- Oh, well. Well done, man. - Yeah, if you?

I recommend it.

- Well what are you doing the next couple days, though?

Are you gonna hang out?

- Yeah, I'll hang out here, man.

- Cool, maybe sail with us?

- Yeah, I'll get your details. - Yeah, let's do that.

- [Aubrey] Uh, here, um-- (electro-pop music)

- Alright, the time is 2:47 in the afternoon.

The 30th of December, 2017.

I'm just walking through the maze here in

Stone Town, Zanzibar.

I just finished having a sugarcane juice for 1000 shillings.

And I went to Lukeman and I'll show you that.

Went to Lukeman, oh Lukmaan.

And I had an Avocado Passion smoothie for

two or three thousand, not sure.

Two or three thousand and that was amazing.

By the way, highly recommend that you go to that place.

I'll show you the details and everything like that.

If you come to Stone Town, check it out.

It's packed, busy, there's a high turnover of food.

And I highly recommend it.

Yeah, just walking through the maze here.

Probably go back through the spice market;

check it out once more.

2:47 p.m.

It is the 30th.

And it's frickin' hot.

So yeah, stay tuned.

Sized up for all my scuba diving gear for tomorrow.

I'm going diving tomorrow at two different dive sites.

And when walking out of the Dive Centre,

I've actually just walked down the street.

And it's literally full of shops

where you can buy Tanzanite and the gemstones.

Pretty much, every shop you see behind me

there on the left and on the right.

Even up in front of me,

are places where you can buy this gemstone.

Which, from my understanding of Tanzanite.

is only found at the foothills

of Mount Kilimanjaro.

I actually learnt that a few days ago.

See yeah, that's what they call: Tanzanite.

Tanzanian Tanzanite is only found here.

And so if you're into tanzanite,

then you can just come on this street and

How's it going? - [Policeman] Good afternoon.

And you can buy it from here.

So, um, yeah.

Check it out.

And just getting lost here through the many

souvenir shops you'll find here in Stone Town,

in the little maze.

It's quite nice.

And I've talked about this in previous videos,

the last couple of days.

How special this place is.

You know, just very rustic.

And like, antiquated.

And there's a natural beauty to it.

You should really check it out if you ever come to Zanzibar.

Literally, just walking around,

taking photos, checking out souvenir shops.

Buying a few things.

And yeah so, if I haven't done so already,

I'll throw some photos up.

You'll get to see this for yourself.

Everything's super cheap here.

And the sun's really hot.

By the way, I bought this singular top, by the way.

It cost 30,000, 20-something thousand shillings.

So yeah, this is it.

The old fortress, which has very high walls,

is apparently either the oldest

or one of the oldest buildings here in Stone Town.

And it was used as a defence on the island

against the Portuguese.

They were invading a long, long time ago.

And apparently, they actually did use the fortress

at least once,

to protect the island from the Portuguese invasion.

And your name is?

- Garon or Lionel. - Garon?

Garon? - Lionel.

- Or Lionel. And your from?

- I'm from Kenya.

- From Kenya, from Nairobi. - From Nairobi.

- And he's an artist, a graffiti artist.

- Yeah. - And he's looking to

go to Europe to crush it. - Yup.

To take over. (laughs)

- To dominate!

- Kanguei? Kendo? Kendwa Beach, yes.

- Kendwa Beach? Kendwa Beach. Kendwa Beach.

- I'm going there, maybe tomorrow to see my friend.

- Oh, really? Yeah? - I'm a cyclists, also.

But my bike broke down yesterday.

Yeah! - Oh, no!

See, you're gonna be walking there?

- The front tyre came out while I'm riding.

So, right now, it's at the repair shop.

So they can fix it, very fast.

So that tomorrow, I can get there.

- So you were riding along? - Yeah.

- And the front tyre came off? - Yes.

- Fuck. That's something. - Yes.

- Did you film it? Did you video it?

- No, man. I was so scared! (laughing)

I don't want to die in Zanzibar.

- Man, this guys gonna kill it in Europe.

- Yeah. - Thank you, so much, man.

Pacifická Hřebenovka - Pěšky z Mexika do Kanady - Duration: 28:58.

I heard about place with no peopl

Where do you begin to appreciate the things

that you took for granted

and primary needs are a top priority

about place where you learn meanings of a words like

comunity, friendship, will and endurance

This is a story about

my 2650 mile hike

from Mexico to Canada

My journey starts 25th of April

at a USA - Mexican border near San Diego

at sunrise you start to meet first people

that you will meet for a next days, weeks

and months

little look to Mexico thru a hole in a fence

and I am ready to go

for a first step, first yard , first day on a trail

I have been walking for an hour now

Im litte bit tired already

Im gonna sit here for a while

and then i go

in half an hour, one hour

You start to think immediately

is this really that thing what i want to do for a next 5 months?

The untrained body begins to call

also doubts about the choice of equipment

you slowly get used to the fact

that all you really have to do

is get up and go

I don´t want to get up today

Its cold and windy

but if you overcome it

and you leave that warm comfort

every second worth it

Water planning is really important

you have to stop and count

where is the next water

to know how much water to carry

Every unce is an weight you have to cary

until next water source

sometimes it was 2,4 gallons this year

This is that river

that we followed for day and half

and these are

warm springs

with a pools

much of them

and it´s pretty good bath

After crossing Mohave desert

where the temperature reaches up to 110 degrees

we used to have the worst heat behind us

after one month and 700 miles of a deathly heat

we have one part of PCT done

and there comes a completely new chapter

beautiful Sierra Nevada

Yes, sometimes it was not easy

but the truth is that Sierra Nevada is my favorite part of a PCT

Reaching the pass once a day

falling and slipping in a snow cups

hard rivercrossings

and wet feet leads to

that you sleep like a lamb in the evening

This pass

is terribly long

I have been hiking for 3 hours

and I can´t still see the top

Chmm, that´s suprisingly warm

I took an microspikes for this log

because it looks pretty slippery

so....it should increase grip

so lets do it

I am searching for a trail for most of the day

and it´s taking lot of time

so i don´t know

if we can reach daily plan

but rest of us are behind so Im gonna wait here for them

That´s funny log

it moving a lot

and it stucked on this bush

It´s little bit late for this

and i am pretty tired

and now all wet

so...perfect

Food is the most important thing on a trail

but it´s not healthly at all

Healthly food is heavy and hardly reached

so the most important factor for a food is

to be light and super caloric

other deficits hiker tries to fix in the city

This is my food for a four days

little bit innovated

because i didn´t like it all

There is a main dish - dinner

Kung Pao, some pasta

Ramen noodles

something like chineese soup with more noodles

healthly Ramen noodles

some soup for a taste

and then

tortillas

for a lunch

with tuna

and spam

comes into the tortillas

also cheese and salami

extra salami

and for a snack i have

sweets

bananas

bars and protein bars

jerky

some corns for a breakfast

or that bars

nutela

spicy sauce

olive oil

wich is to make

everything richer a little bit

spice

protein powder i get

into a water

electrolites

That´s it

after climbing the mountains

we are reaching third part wich is Northern California

This stretch suppouse to be

mix of the dessert and mountains but not that hard

this release probably caused

that some of us get sick

Im not enjoying that today

in fact

i see the trail just few feet in front

and i walk as slow as i can to avoid

vomitting

and it´s pretty hard

but i did 15 miles today

so i thing it´s good

for that conditions

This is

exact half of the PCT point

this is not a most favorite spot

for a PCT thruhikers

they are crossing fast thru it

and thinks

damit, I am walking for quarter of a year and this is just a half of it?

But it means that we did something

and now we gonna be hiking faster

Lets go to Canada

Here goes a first rain

and i´m still in California

it´s pretty pleasurable in this heat

but it may not rain all the time

When we were packing up for this trip we knew

then it´s not gonna be walk through rosy garden

and we have learned

that the good days goes after the bad ones

that you have to stay at will

and keep on going

Pretty big day today

23 miles

3 times ascension more then

1000 feet

now im gonna camp but there it looks like

fire

but it´s gonna be fine, propably

Im descending to

this valley right now

and i have to go back to the top after lunch

and that is today plan

10 miles down 10 miles up

That´s super bath

perfect

much better then shower in Sierra City

even warmer

after 4 month and 1700 miles

i´m finally reaching Oregon

Oregon

The energy that gived a new state

it has been taken by fire closures

and all skipping and hitch hiking to the cities

That was pretty hard and long hitch hike

4 hitches

4,5 hours

to get here

but we are close now

crater lake

and

there are new instructions so you can see

where are the fires in Oregon

the PCT leads thru it

there is much of closures comming up

and it´s not good at all

it looks like there is

50% of Oregon closed

The highest point of PCT in Oregon

7560 feet

After lot of closures and lot of smoky miles

we are reaching the Oregon - Washington borders

after crossing Bridge of the Gods

it has to bump for better times

You can se from here that whole that hill

burns

there is PCT and alternate Eagle trail

i was hiking on a better bridges to be honest

It´s not made for a hikers at all

it´s not like in that movie for sure

there is lot of cars but´s because that fire

but I´m really glad that I am in Washington

Immediately after the borders

you can see huge diference

mountains alternate flats

and smoke disappears

It doesn´t take long and we meet first views after long time

good mood is comming back

but all of us knows

that the last 500 miles remains

But what nobody knows is

that the weather is going to change immediately

and trail is going to test our will for a last time

and the hardest days on a PCT are comming up soon

Pacific Crest Trail is a journey of will

It´s a journey of joy and pain

You have such a long time

to think about your priorities

and realize what you want or don´t want to do

in a future

what fills you in a life

or what you don´t need at all

You realize that problems you had

are not problems anymore

and you need just basic staffs to live

2650 miles journey

It´s not a race

It´s not about reaching Canada

but the way how you get there

everyone is choosing own way

what fills him

limits his stuff needs just

what he has in a backpack

Realize that is not happier because material stuffs

what he has

Or food he eat

drink he drinks

But it´s people

friends

family

with who you can share adventure

Adventure and memories are conditions

that you get in

when you are doing something you like

but also what you don´t like

even from a seemingly terrible situation

can become funny memory

which you´ll be thinking about

for a rest of your life

Adventure starts where your comfort zone ends

Destination is not the main thing. But way of travel

Happiness is doubled when it´s shared

Thanks to all who were part of my journey

To all who believed and supported me

Helped me to make my dreams come true

Twenty Traits Of An Empath - How To Know If You're An Empath - Duration: 9:12.

20 Traits Of An Empath - How To Know If You're An Empath

Sometimes, empath be described as when a person is affected by other people's energies,

and innately ability to intuitively feel and perceive others.

An empath's life can be unconsciously influenced by others' desires, wishes, thoughts, and

moods.

Being an empath is much more than being highly sensitive and it's not just limited to emotions.

Empaths can perceive physical sensitivities and spiritual urges, as well as just knowing

the motivations and intentions of other people.

You are always open, so to speak, to process other people's feelings and energy, which

means that you really feel, and in many cases take on the emotions of others.

Many empaths experience things like chronic fatigue, environmental sensitivities, or unexplained

aches and pains daily.

These are all things that are more likely to be contributed to outside influences and

not so much yourself at all.

In this video, I'm going to share with you how to know if you're an empath,

and how to help an empath clear other people's energy and to maintain his or her own energy

field.

If you find this information is helpful to you,

make sure to like this video and subscribe to this channel, so you won't miss any of

our interesting updates in the future!

So, let's start with the traits of an empath:

1.

Knowing Empaths just know stuff, without being told.

It's a knowing that goes way beyond intuition or gut feelings, even though that is how many

would describe the knowing.

The more attuned they are the stronger this gift becomes.

2.

Being in public places can be overwhelming Places like shopping malls, supermarkets or

stadiums where there are lots of people around can fill the empath with turbulently vexed

emotions that are coming from others.

3.

Feeling others emotions and taking them on as your own

This is a huge one for empaths.

To some they will feel emotions off those near by and with others they will feel emotions

from those a vast distance away, or both.

The more adept empath will know if someone is having bad thoughts about them, even from

great distance.

4.

Watching violence, cruelty or tragedy on the TV is unbearable

The more attuned an empath becomes the worse it is and may make it so they eventually have

to stop watching TV and reading newspapers altogether.

5.

You know when someone is not being honest If a friend or a loved one is telling you

lies you know it (although many empaths try not to focus on this because knowing a loved

one is lying can be painful).

Or if someone is saying one thing but feeling or thinking another, you know.

6.

Picking up physical symptoms off another An empath will sometimes develop the ailments

off another person (colds, eye infections, body aches and pains) especially those they're

closest to, somewhat like sympathy pains.

7.

Digestive disorders and lower back problems The solar plexus chakra is based in the centre

of the abdomen and it's known as the seat of emotions.

This is where empaths feel the incoming emotion of another,

which can weaken the area and eventually lead to anything from stomach ulcers to IBS (too

many other conditions to list here).

Lower back problems can develop from being ungrounded (amongst other things) and one,

who has no knowledge of them being an empath, will almost always be ungrounded.

8.

Always looking out for the underdog Anyone whose suffering, in emotional pain

or being bullied draws an empath's attention and compassion.

9.

Others will want to offload their problems on you, even strangers

An empath can become a dumping ground for everyone else's issues and problems, which,

if they're not careful can end up as their own.

10.

Constant fatigue Empaths often get drained of energy, either

from energy vampires or just taking on too much from others, which even sleep will not

cure.

Many get diagnosed with ME.

11.

Addictive personality Alcohol, drugs, sex, are to name but a few

addictions that empaths turn to, to block out the emotions of others.

It is a form of self protection in order to hide from someone or something.

12.

Drawn to healing, holistic therapies and all things metaphysical

Although many empaths would love to heal others they can end up turning away from being healers

(even though they have a natural ability for it),

after they've studied and qualified, because they take on too much from the one they are

trying to heal.

Especially if they are unaware of their empathy.

Anything of a supernatural nature is of interest to empaths and they don't surprise or get

shocked easily.

Even at the revelation of what many others would consider unthinkable, for example, empaths

would have known the world was round when others believed it was flat.

13.

Creative From singing, dancing, acting, drawing or

writing an empath will have a strong creative streak and a vivid imagination.

14.

Love of nature and animals Being outdoors in nature is a must for empaths

and pets are an essential part of their life.

15.

Need for solitude An empath will go stir-crazy if they don't

get quiet time.

This is even obvious in empathic children.

16.

Gets bored or distracted easily if not stimulated Work, school and home life has to be kept

interesting for an empath or they switch off from it and end up daydreaming or doodling.

17.

Finds it impossible to do things they don't enjoy

As I mentioned before.

It feels like they are living a lie by doing so.

To force an empath to do something they dislike through guilt or labelling them as idle will

only serve in making them unhappy.

It's for this reason many empaths get labelled as being lazy.

18.

Strives for the truth This becomes more prevalent when an empath

discovers his or her gifts and birthright.

Anything untruthful feels plain wrong.

19.

Always looking for the answers and knowledge To have unanswered questions can be frustrating

for an empath and they will endeavour to find an explanation.

If they have a knowing about something they will look for confirmation.

The downside to this is an information overload.

20.

Likes adventure, freedom and travel Well, Empaths are free spirits after all.

Clearing Energy for an Empath

Here's the tips that I mentioned before.

In order to maintain your own energy field and to cleanse other people's "stuff"

from you, there are a few things you can be sure to do.

The first is to burn sage.

Often called, "smudging," burning sage and allowing the smoke to flow around your

body is vital in clearing all negative energies from you and your home.

After being out for the day, whether it is all day or just a quick trip to the grocery

store, sage when you arrive home.

Believe me, it helps tremendously!

Doing this after being at the computer or in front of a TV will also help.

You can also look into flower essences.

Flower essences are different than essential oils too, keep in mind.

Flower essences help to maintain the integrity and strength of the aura and help us to process

emotions in a healthy, holistic way.

In other words, flower essences are nutrients for the soul.

Lastly, simply stepping outside and breathing in fresh air or going for a walk can help

clear energy as well.

So, what are your thoughts?

Are you an empath?

What helps you process and release other people's energy?

Are there other traits you have that you'd like to see on the list?

Please share your thoughts and experiences in the comments below!

The Story Behind Call of the Scarab [Lore] - Duration: 24:18.

Hello everyone!

The Call of the Scarab micro-holiday is upon us once again.

After a year of your faction being represented within silithus, it's time to once again

honor the call and fight for the right to fly your banner at ahn'qiraj.

But what's the story behind all this?

That's what we're going to talk about today!

It all begins waaaay back when at the moment where the titans found a little planet called

Azeroth with a slumbering titan spirit inside.

The world was corrupted with the malevolent evil of the old gods, but the titans with

the use of their keepers were able to contain the threat and give Azeroth a fighting chance.

In the land later known as Silithus they housed the old god C'thun in a subterranean prison

which was later expanded upon by Keeper Ra and his titan-forged followers.

The anubisath giants and the leonine tol'vir labored day and night until they constructed

the mighty frostress known as Ahn'qiraj.

Ra then ordered his followers to safeguard the stronghold as he himself would spend the

following ages roaming the southern regions of Azeroth.

During their battles with the old gods, the keepers had to deal with their forces, amongst

them the aqir, insectoids of incredible resilience and strength.

They were born from organic matter that seeped from the old god's blighted forms.

While in time the keepers destroyed most of the aqiri race, small pockets of the insectoids,

those that had tunneled deep underground, escaped the keepers' wrath.

Many years later, trolls would foolishly perform vile rituals and living sacrifices to awaken

the C'Thraxx, a mighty faceless one also born from the old god's organic matter,

known as Kith'ix.

They succeeded and the C'Thraxx looked upon troll civilization with nothing but contempt

for it was but a pale shadow of what the Black Empire, the empire of the old gods ruling

the world before the titans showed up ones was.

Kith'ix knew it would delight the old gods to see this puny civilization rent to ashes

and he found a race of creatures to aid him with ask, the Aqir which it could control.

The swarms were rallied, driving them to make war and establish their dominance over Azeroth

once again. As Kith'ix took its time to expand its power and recover, the Aqir began building

a vast subterranean empire known as Azj'Aqir.

He patiently watched and waited as the aqiri ranks rose in number.

When the time was right, the C'thrax led the insections from their underground empire

and they swept across the land.

At first the trolls were overwhelmed by this force, something like this they had never

faced before, but soon enough the zandalari took charge and the trolls pushed back.

The Drakkari pushed into the frigid north near Ulduar. The Amani set their eyes on defeating

Kith'ix, building their new settlement of Zul'Aman on the spot where they defeated

the C'thraxx while the Gurubashi decided to go southwest, where the aqir had overrun

Ahn'Qiraj.

The titan-forged left inside were corrupted, enslaved by the insectoids and early engagements

between the Gurubashi and the aqir proved disastrous for he trolls.

The insectoids and their mighty anubisaths slaughtered several large Gurubashi encampemnts.

Thereafter, the Zandalari instructed Gurubashi priests to seperate their tribe into smaller,

more mobile raiding groupds instead of large armies.

This new tactic alowed them to constantly harass the aqir, bleeding the insectoit armies

dry over a period of many years.

Though they were never able to complete wipe out the aqir, the Gurubashi eventually won

uncontested control of the surrounding territory.

With their leader, with the C'thraxx gone, the rest of the aqir no longer fought with

as much ferocity or purpose.

After many centuries of brutal battles between trolls and insectoids, the troll shattered

the Aqir empire.

The remaining insectoids were contained the far northern and southern reaches of the continent,

those that survived fortified their unground colonies against further troll attacks.

They showed no more interest in fighting and in time, trolls proclaimed themselves victorious.

But their victory did not mean the end of

the Aqir.

Under the influence of the old gods nearby, change started to happen and three disticnt

cultures would arise from the aqir empire.

The insectoids in the north gathered near the underground prison of yogg-saron.

Due to their proximity to the old god, these aqir would gradually evolve into a race called

the nerubians.

The aqir in the southeast congregated where Y'Shaarj's essence still polluted the

land.

These insectoids would eventually transform into a race called the mantid. The aqir in

the southwest made their home in ahn'qiraj where the captive old god's foul presence

would slowly wap the aqir's form over time, molding them into a race known as the qiraji.

Since their defeat against the troll empire, the descendants of the aqir had stayed hidden

in their subteranean domains.

Only the mantid of Pandaria remained an active threat and nearly all of Azeroth's races

had forgotten the ruthless potential of the insectoid colonies that lurked beneath the

earth.

Within Ahn'Qiraj's lifeless sandstone corridors, the insectoids laid dormant even

when Azshara made contact with Sargeras, tried to summon the Legion into the world resulting

in the Sundering of the land.

Though Azshara and her night elf empire had once known of the fortress, its existence

had become lost to time.

Few living creatures dwelled near Ahn'Qiraj, partly because the vast and inhopisitable

desert of SIlithus, which stretched out from the stronghold's towering obelisks.

Ahn'Qiraj wasn't rediscovered by the elves until Archdruid Fandral Staghelm, 975 years

before the dark portal opened up, came up with the brilliant idea to regrow the land

of Silithus.

He send out his warrior son, Valstann, and a group of his most trusted druids to perform

this task.

They trudged across the scalding dunes, searching for hidden water reservoirs that they could

use to transform the region into a lush forest.

Valstann and his comrades eventually stumbled across Ahn'Qiraj.

Although some of the druids cautioned against entering the fortress, Fandral's son did

it anyways.

His presence in the cold, dead halls inadvertently roused the dormant qiraji back to life.

From its prison beneath Ahn'Qiraj, C'Thun also became aware of the awakened qiraji.

The Old God drove the insectois into a murderous frenzy.

The highest classes of qiraji society began organizing their lesser minions, the most

numerous of which were known as the silithid.

These vicious insectoids came in many forms, and all obeyed the will of their qiraji overlords.

The discovery of the qiraji shocked Valstann and his druid companions.

Upon retreating from Ahn'Qiraj, they established a small outpost in Silithus to keep watch

over the insectoids.

Before their eyes, the fortress swelled with greater and greater numbers of qiraji.

Then, without warning, a massive army spilled forth from the tunnels beneath Ahn'Qiraj.

At the head of this swarming host were the qiraji.

They directed their silithid minions to engulf the surrounding deserts and spread into other

regions as well.

By this time, Valstann wisely had called for help from his father.

Fandral rallied a force of druids, Sentinels, priestesses, and keepers of the grove to deal

with the qiraji threat.

In the southern reaches of Kalimdor, the night elf host clashed with their vicious foes.

At times they managed to drive the qiraji back towards the dunes of Silithus, only for

the insectoids to mount a counterattack and regain the advantage.

This ebb and flow continued for many months, leaving in its wake the broken corpses of

elves and insectoids alike.

The War of the Shifting Sands had begun.

Fandral and his comrades established outposts across southern Kalimdor, from these locations,

they contiued their brutal fight against the qiraji.

Eventually, the tireless druids and their allies managed to push the qiraji back into

the heart of Silithus itself.

Yet just as victory seemed within reach, the war took a dire turn.

News had reached them that the town of Southwind Village was under attack.

Fandral considered pulling the troops back to defend the village, but he sensed that

such an actoin would only leave an open door to invasion from the remaining Qiraji.

They still had no diea of just how many the insects numbered, or even if they had seen

all that this new race had to throw at them.

Valstann offered to lead a detachment to the village so that Fandral could stay and provide

containment.

The thought of this being a ruse had crossed their mind, but they simply couldn't take

the chance.

The village had to be defended and Valstann promised his father that he would return victorious,

upholding the honor of his name.

Reluctantly, Fandral nodded.

'Just return alive and I will be more than satisfied."

For the next few days they battled wave after wave of silithid streaming from the hives

scattered throughout the land.

On the third day the Qiraji appeared, their numbers reinforced.

Once again the buzz of insect wings stirred the air.

They spread out before Fandral and the others like the shadow cast by a giant cloud obscuring

the sun....and stopped....and waited.

Fandral formed his lines and stood at the forefront as the ocean of insects parted,

and the hulking form of the Qiraji general approached, carrying a wounded figure in its

clawed appendage.

It proceeded to the frost on the Qiraji lines and held Valstann Staghelm aloft for all to

see.

Gasps spread throughout he ranks, Fandral stood mute, knowing that Southwind had fallen

and fearing that his son may already be dead.

He cursed himself for allowing the boy to leave and stood, frozen by a mixture of fear,

anger and despair.

Within the general's claw, Valstann stirred and spoke to the general, though he was too

far away to be heard.

At once the spell that had fallen over Fandral broke nad he bolted forward, followed by the

night elf forces, but the distance was great...

The Qiraji general fixed his second claw onto Valstann's bloodied form and with both he

squeezed...and pulled apart...seperating the young night elf's body at the waist.

Valstann's death shattered the archdruid and sowed uncertainty throughout the night

elves' ranks.

The qiraji seized the oppertunity and swarmed out of Silithus once again, pushing into the

eastern deserts of Tanaris.

They even dared to assault the sanctum of the bronze dragonflight: the Caverns of time

which in turn pushed the bronze flight into action.

Led by Anachronos, they enlised the help of Caelestrazs, child of Alexstraza from the

red dragonflight.

Merithra, child of Yssera of the green and Arygos, child of Malygos from the blue.

The mighty dragons joined the night elves and helped drive the qiraji armies back behind

the walls of Ahn'Qiraj.

But even with the mighty dragons joining the war, there were simply too many qiraji to

vanquish entirely.

Fandral feared that the war would never end.

Thousands of elves had already perished at the claws of the insectois, and he was loath

to sacrifice more of his people.

Ultimately, he and the dragons came up with the plan to lock the insectoids within Ahn'QIraj

itself.

Fandral called on his druids to focus their powers as one.

Along with Anachronos, the elves summoned a great barricade to close off Ahn'Qiraj.

Merithra, Caelestrasz and Arygos sacrificed themselves by pushing into the city and holding

the Qiraji back long enough for the rest of their forces to create their magical barrier.

Outside the cursed city, the dry earth split wide, and a magical barrier of stone and colossal

roots emerged.

This impenetrable Scarab Wall towered high over the barren landscape, effectively sealing

the qiraji within their city forever.

As a final act, Anachronos forged two mystical artifacts.

He motioned to a scarab scuttling below his feet, the creature frozen, then flattened

out, transforming into a metallic gong.

Stones shifted into place near the wall, creating a dais where the Scarab Gong was finally placed.

The great dragn then proceeded to the severed limb of one of his fallen companions.

He held the appendage and after a series of incantations, the limb morpehed into the shape

of a scepter, The Scepter of the Shifting Sands.

Handing the scepter to the Arch-Druid, The dragon told Fandral that should any mortal

ever wish to pass the magical barrier and access the ancient city, they need only strike

the scepter against the gong and the gates would open.

Fandral looked down, his face twisting in contempt.

"I want nothing to do with Silithus, the Qiraji and least of all, any damned dragons!"

With that Fandral swung the enchanted object into the magical gates--where it splintered

in a shower of fragments--and walked away.

Fandral found no solace in ending the qiraji threat, for Valstan's death still tormented

his heart.

The pieces of the Scepter of the Shifting Sands became lost for the next thousand years,

but the need to re-enter the city would arise during classic as the old god c'thun incited

the qiraji to frenzy and both the alliance and horde prepared for a massive war effort

to preemtpively deal with the threat.

To do so they'd had to breach the Scarab Wall which meant reforging the Scepter while

also funding the war effort by bringing a whole bunch of resources together.

We're talking about ore, fish, leather, herbs, bandages, war aint cheap and the amount

was quite absurd but then again it was a server wide, cross faction effort which took months

to complete.

In the meantime someone had to go through the incredibly long, looooong questline to

get the scepter which is unfortenatly no longer available in game.

It all began with getting your reputation to neutral with the brood of Nozdormu faction.

Baristolth of the Shifting Sands in Cenarion hold was turned into a watcher by the bronze

dragonflight and offers the chance to prove your worth.

First we check if his master Anachronos has returned at the Caverns of Time which confirms

to him that it is as it should be, the great one has risen and there's no time to waste.

A hero must be found and it might be us, if we're able to slay Broodlord Lashlayer and

return with his head.

Only then can we begin the reputation grind by slaying silithid at Hive'Ashi, Hive'Zora

and Hive'Regal.

They drop carapace fragments, 200 can be repeatadly turned in at Baristolth to increase the reputation

or if the gates have already been opened, you can also get reputation from killing the

bosses inside of Ahn'Qiraj.

Upon reaching neutral we've become worthy to talk with his master while he's also

kind enough to give us a tome which tells the tale of the war of the shifting sands.

It's content no longer fully lines up with the story we know from the chronicles and

the short story, but the essence is still the same.

An essence also shown after checking out a single crystaline tear near the sacred barrier

as the dragons sacrifice themselves, the wall is created and Falstad shatters the scepter.

After learning about the past we return to Anachronos who lets us know that he gathered

the shattered pieces of the scepter and returned to the caverns of time.

He had every intention of protecting it from those that would seek to use it to cause harm

to our world – thus was born the charge of the Dragonflights.

A scepter divided amongst the four mighty Aspects would prove to be nearly impossible

to restore for those willfully seeking chaos...or atleast that's what he thought.

Time has not been kind to the dragonflights, whether by agents of the Old Gods or betrayal

by those that would call them friend, each guardian of a piece of the scepter has fallen

to tragedy.

We need to seek them out and prepare ourselves for the worst.

Anachronos still holds his piece and no shard would be given to the corrupted black dragonflight

which means that our quest aims at the red, green and blue dragonflights.

The red one is the simplest of the 3, but by no means easy.

Heroes had to venture into Blackwing Lair and talk with Vaelastrasz the corrupt, the

second boss of the raid.

He actually came here in an attempt to kill Nefarian, but the black dragon proved to be

more powerful amd corrupts the red turining him against us.

It is in his darkest hour that one should rise to relieve him of the shard, but sadly

Nefarian has taken it and plans to destroy it.

This means that the raid only had 5 hours to complete the raid, slay Nefarian and take

the Red Scepter Shard of his corpse before he destroys it.

Simple....but not easy!

The green one had heroes travel to the temple of Atal'Hakkar, the Sunken Temple to find

the Shade of Eranikus.

After Ysera, the green dragon aspects smasked the temple to stop the Atal'ai's plan

to summon Hakkar the Soulflayer, Eranikus and a few others were send in to deal with

the remaining Atal'ai priests and stop their plans.

Inside they were somewhat succesfull yet still fell to the corruption of the emerald nightare.

You might remember dealing with the nightmare in Legion, that was like the second coming

of the nightmare, this was before all of that so something had to be done about Eranikus'

corruption before we could retrieve the shard.

The image of malfurion sends us to darnasssus to inform tyrande which then sends us to the

moonglade to talk with keeper Remulos.

He in turn sends us to the four dream portals of Azeroth located in Ashenvale, Duskwood,

Feralas and the Hinterlands.

From the dragonkin nearby we were able to farm a fragment of the nightmare's corruption

while the one in Duskwood had us fight a 40-man raid satyr known as a Twilight Corrupter.

With these 4 fragments gathered we lured Eranikus out and of course we had to show restraint.

The green dragon was not inherintly evil, he was corrupted and with the blessing of

Elune called upon by Tyrande we were able to cleanse the green dragon.

In gratitude he offered his green shard while returning to the dream to aid his beloved

Ysera in the war against the nightmare.

Then the final one, the blue shard whos questline was just insanely long.

The shard was held by the blue dragon Azuregos, a world boss during classic but you could

talk to him either living or in his spirit form.

The blue didn't really care about guarding the shard for very lone, knew that it would

only give him trouble while all he wants is to be left alone to his studies and not babysit

some would be hero's ticket to glory.

So he came up with a brilliant pan to give it to a fish, but not any kind of fish, a

very special minnow which he granted some special powers.

The waters of the sea are vast and contain many minnows, but not to worry, to draw out

this special fishy we had to create a arcanite buoy.

His minnow would be attracted to the magical emanations.

When he gets near the buoy- BLAMMO!

It will explose in a glorious pulse of arcane energy, revealing the minnow's true form.

We also may or may not incure the wrath of neptulon the tidehunter, but ehh what's

life without a little bit of risk.

The blue dragon is even kind enough to give us the schematics for it, schematics brought

over to the gnome Narain Soothfancy but he can't read it since it's written in draconic.

We need to figure out what Azuregos wrote which requires his scrying goggles, a five

hundred pound chicken and volume 2 of draconic for dummies.

The scrying goggles were taken by his ex best friend for life, or as Stewvul would call

it, slave for life who we track down, but they lost the goggles while going through

the molten core so we kill minions inside until it drops.

The 500 pound chicken is cooked up by Dirge Quickcleave after killing lord Lakmaeran on

the isle of dread and gathering some chimaerok tenderloins, deeprock salt and rocket fuel.

The draconic for dummies was hidden away by the gnome on an island so far out that we

can't reach it without dieing from fatigue.

Thankfully Meridith the mermaiden is there to help us out.

She's quite taken by the gnome and wants us to deliver a love letter to him.

He's not realy interested, ya know a gnome and a fish would never work out, but she is

kind enough to give us a swimming speed buff which allows us to reach the island only to

discover that the book has been stolen by none other then Narain's arch-enemy Dokter

Weavil.

We try to outsmart him, but it backfires and the good dokter destroys the book.

The only known copy of it was ripped into 8 parts and scattered to the wind.

One is taken from the body of dr weavil, one is dropped from demons in the blasted lands,

one from demons in winterspring, one is found in the undercity, one in the stormwind keep

library, one on the body of onyxia, one found in blackwing lair and finally one dropped

by Ragnaros.

After all that we're still not quite done yet.

To actually make the damn thing, Narain needs 20 arcanite bars, 10 elementium ingot's,

10 blue sapphires and 10 azerothian diamonds.

Those were not cheap, but all of that combined gives us what we need.

Off the coast of Azshara we spawn Maws, the minnow carrying the shard and finally, with

all 4 combined we can reforge the scepter of the shifting sands.

Now all we need to do is wait for the war effort to complete, for the horde and alliance

to gather enough resources and after five days of transporting the troops, we can finally

bang the scarab gong, tear down the wall and start the 10 hour war server event.

A global message was spread, Champion of the Bronze Dragonflight has rung the Scarab Gong.

The ancient gates of Ahn'Qiraj open, revealing the horrors of a forgotten war..

Like the days of old we had to face against General Rajaxx and all his powerful minions.

We even ventured into the titan facility itself and took on not just the Silithid and qiraji,

but even the manifestation of the old god c'thun himself.

The 3 dragons that sacrificed themselves had spend all that time locked up inside, but

we're able to set them free and even score some sexy gear.

As a reward for completing the scepter and ringing the gong first or even within 10 hours

of the first one, you'd be rewared with a unique Black Qiraji Battle Tank.

Although many varieties of Qiraji Battle Tanks can still be found in the ruins of AHn'Qiraj

today, the darkest of the species were only seen on the day the Scarab gong was rung.

The scarab lord title would forever mark those crazy enough to fuse the scepter and bang

the scarab gong first which in the short story is done by the night elf priestess Shiromar,

a veteran of the war of the shifting sands, while the first player was named Kalahad on

the US server of Medivh who rang the gong in januari of 2006.

This is why we celebrate and remember the call of the scarab where 12 years ago a bloody

war was triggered by a simple sound: the banging of a gong.

No rallying fanfare, no bloodthirsty yell; just an eerie silence, and many many realms

that crashed cause they couldn't handle that many people in one single zone.

Today we celebrate the heroics of those past adventurers by returining to Silithus and

walking in their footsteps.

What's more; this is a competition between the Horde and Alliance.

Whichever group can earn more credits earn the right to fly their flag next to the gong

for the rest of the year.

Earning credits can be done by turning in resources, taking on the forces of the qiraji

and the twilights hammer.

Faction pride, that is our reward but some datamined information reveals that the new

models we've seen used in Silithus are also going to be applied for temporary mounts available

during the micro-holiday.

Surprisingly they also decided to give those that already had the Black Qiraji Battle tank

an updated new version on top of the one that they already had.

That means that those few lucky enough to be around during classic and those that used

the small window of oppertunity due to a bug with wrath of the lich king now get a shinier,

brighter model.

This has been received with mix responses, I personally don't really care.

I didn't have the mount to begin with so I don't care if they give an updated one

to those that already had it.

I doubt it took them a lot of resources to recolor the temporary mounts and make it permanent,

but I do wonder why they did this.

It doesn't effect a whole bunch of players since it's no longer obtainable and the

response like I said, some feel like they're missing out just because they didn't play

back then.

Will they also add new models to other mounts that are no longer obtainable?

I don't see the massive benefit to it considering it rewards such a small group, but again to

me...

I don't really care.

I was talking with perculia about this from WoWhead and she came up with the suggestion

that perhaps, tinfoil moment, they'll add like a timewalking opening of AQ event in

the future which would re-open the forging of the scepter and give players another chance

at this mount.

If they do, I'll be all over that.

The research for this video was difficult considering a lot of things have been removed,

but also really fun and I would love to experience the questline for myself.

I was playing back then, but not crazy enough to go through all of this.

My part was just turning in resources and completely missing out on the opening of the

gates because I think I either couldn't log in with the servers overloaded or I was

out for a job interview.

Either way this is all the story that I really have for you all when it comes to the background

for this micro-holiday.

From bringing order to azeroth and imprisoning C'thun within Ahn'Qiraj, to the Horde

and Alliance figuring out that evil was stirring once again and the wall erected at the end

of the war of the shifting sands had to brought down.

I hope you enjoyed it everyone!

As always, subscribe if you like my videos, leave a like if you enjoyed this one aaaaand

until next time guys....see ya!

Photoshop Tutorial: How to Create Gorgeous Polyscapes - Duration: 11:31.

Hi. This is Marty from Blue Lightning TV.

I'm going to show you how to create polyscapes.

Polyscapes are essentially photo effects that merge beautiful landscapes or scenes with

geometric shapes using clipping masks and shape tools.

There are limitless possibilities of designs for polyscapes, but for the most part, they

all use use the same basic technique to create them.

Before we begin, if my tutorials have helped you learn or improve in Photoshop, please

consider supporting my channel by becoming a patron!

For as little as $2 a month, you can help me keep my tutorials free.

Click the Patreon button at the upper right or the Patreon link in my video's description below.

Any amount you can pledge is greatly appreciated.

For this particular polyscape design, we'll use 2 photos.

I downloaded both of them from Shutterstock.

Find 2 horizontal photos that you'd like to use for this project.

Begin with the photo that we'll use for your background.

We'll convert it into Smart Object, so we can modify it non-destructively and adjust

the effects at any time.

It'll also allow us to replace the photos with others without having to redo the effects.

To do this, click the icon at the upper, right of the Layers panel and click "Convert to Smart Object".

Make a copy of it by pressing Ctrl or Cmd + J.

Temporarily hide the copy and make the original layer active.

We'll create a soft dark vignette along the outside edges of our image.

Go to Filter and Lens Correction.

Click the "Custom" tab and slide the "Vignette" amount all the way to the left.

Then, click OK.

I'd like to adjust my background's brightness and color cast.

If you want to do the same for your background, click the Adjustment Layer icon.

If you're using Photoshop CS6 or later, click "Color Lookup".

If you're using an earlier version, you can experiment with "Hue/Saturation" or "Color

Balance" or "Channel Mixer".

Open "Load 3D LUT" and cycle through the filters to choose the effect you like.

I'm using, "Crisp_Winter.look".

For this image, the filter is a bit too intense, so I'll reduce its opacity to 40%.

We'll convert our image into a Smart Object by Shift-clicking "Layer 0" to make it active,

as well as the adjustment layer and converting them into a Smart Object.

Let's name it "Base" and the copy, "Ring".

Make the Base layer active and click the New Layer icon to make a new layer.

Inside this empty layer, we'll create our first shape.

Open the Polygon Tool and choose "Shape".

If you're using CS5 or earlier, the Shape Tool is here.

Click the "Fill" box.

The "Fill" color is the color of the shape, however, since we'll be filling the shape

with a photo, the color doesn't actually matter in this instance.

For now, click black.

Click the "Stroke" box and click the white box with the red, diagonal line in it.

This is the box to click when you want no Fill or no stroke.

The pixel amount in this field determines the width or thickness of the stroke, however,

we won't be needing it for now, so the amount is irrelevant.

Later, we'll make a shape using a stroke with no Fill, which is essentially an outline.

Make the number of sides: 3.

Click the gear icon and make sure "Star" is unchecked.

Then, press Enter or Return.

Next, we'll create guidelines to locate the exact center of our document.

Open "View".

If you're using version CC or later, click "New Guide Layout".

If you're using an earlier version, I'll show what to do in a moment.

Make sure Columns and Rows are both checked and the number for both is: 2.

If you're using a version earlier than CC, click, "New Guide".

In either orientation, type in 50% for the Position.

Then, click OK or press Enter or Return.

Go back to View, New Guide, tick the other orientation and type in 50% again.

Go to the center of the guidelines and press and hold Shift as you drag down the Shape

Tool a bit below the bottom of your image.

Then, release.

To slide the shape up, press "v" to open your Move Tool and press and hold Shift as you

drag it straight up to approximately here.

Open your other photo and drag it up onto the tab of your background image.

Without releasing your mouse or pen, drag it down and release.

Go to Layer 1 and drag it down above the shape you made.

We're going to mask the photo, so it'll show only through the inside of the shape.

To do this, we'll make the photo into a clipping mask by pressing Ctrl + Alt + G on Windows

or Cmd + Option + G on a Mac or you can go to Layer and click "Create Clipping Mask".

Position the photo inside the shape by just dragging it.

We can resize the photo by pressing Ctrl or Cmd + T to open your Transform Tool.

Go to a corner and when you see a diagonal, double-arrow, press and hold Alt or Option

+ Shift as you drag it out or in.

Continue to position and size it to your liking.

Then, press Enter or Return.

To temporarily hide the guide lines, press Ctrl or Cmd + H. Make the shape layer active

and click the "fx" icon.

Click "Stroke".

Make the Size 9 pixels and the Position: Inside.

The Blend Mode is "Linear Dodge" and the Opacity is 50%.

The Fill Type is "Gradient".

Click the Gradient bar to open the Gradient Editor.

For this example, let's click this preset called, Spectrum".

Then, click OK on both windows.

Notice the subtle, but thin stroke surrounding our shape.

We'll place our shape and corresponding photo into a folder by Shifting-clicking the photo

to make it active as well, and pressing Ctrl or Cmd + G.

Make a copy of it

and drag the copy to the right.

Open the top folder and make the shape active.

Go to Edit, Transform and "Flip Vertical".

Notice, just the shape flipped, but not the photo inside the shape.

That's because only the shape is active.

Open your Transform Tool and using the same steps, drag it in to approximately this size.

Position it to approximately here and press Enter or Return.

Make the photo active and drag it to a position you like inside the shape.

Close the folder and make a copy of it.

Open this folder and make the shape active.

Press and hold Shift as you drag across the second copy to a position that's equidistant

as the right shape is from the center shape.

To reposition the photo inside this shape, make the photo active and drag it.

If you want to resize the photo, use your Transform Tool.

To see the Transform's entire bounding box, press Ctrl or md + 0.

Resize and reposition it inside the shape to your liking.

To zoom back it into, press Ctrl or Cmd and the plus key once or twice.

Close the folder and name it, "Left Shape". Name the middle folder, "Right Shape"

and the bottom folder, "Center Shape".

Make the "Left Shape" folder active and click the New Layer icon to make a new layer above it.

In this empty layer,

we'll create another shape, but this time, it'll be an thin, circular outline.

Let's zoom out to 50%.

Make the guidelines visible again and open your Ellipse Tool.

Click the Fill box and click the No Fill icon.

Click the Stroke box and click black.

Make the width 10 pixels.

Click the gear icon and make sure "Proportional" is ticked and "From Center" is checked.

Go to the center and drag out the circle almost to the edge of your canvas.

Then, release.

Make the top layer visible and active.

Clip it to the shape under it.

I'd like to give the image inside of the ring more complexity, so I'll flip the image.

If you'd like to do the same, go to Edit, Transform and "Flip Vertical".

Open your Transform Tool and enlarge the photo inside the ring approximately this much.

Hide the guidelines and zoom back in.

This is Marty from Blue Lightning TV.

Thanks for watching!

BREAKING MASSIVE Cover up Underway! Obama and Hillary Evidence Disappearing! - Duration: 26:09.

BREAKING MASSIVE Cover-up Underway!

Obama and Hillary Evidence Disappearing!

Over the past several months, a massive scandal in what's being dubbed "historic" has

blown wide open involving both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

We learned of Hillary's blatant act of treason against the United States while she was Obama's

Secretary of State where she transferred 20% of the United States' uranium to Russian

mining companies in exchange for a $145 million donation to her Clinton Foundation.

Last week, the noose around Obama and Hillary's necks tightened even more, after an 11-count

indictment was handed down from a grand jury against Hillary's henchman Mark Lambert

who was the co-president of a nuclear transportation company involved in Hillary's deal to sell

U.S. uranium to the Russians.

Now evidence of a massive cover-up is emerging, after evidence looks to be disappearing in

relation to this historic scandal.

Conservative Daily Post reported:

Glaring new proof came to light on Friday that Obama's Department of Justice rats

were firmly in charge of guarding the Clinton cheese.

Some of them are still standing watch.

A fifth indictment, handed down in a series of disturbingly similar cases, presents the

public with 11 more counts of corroborating evidence that there is "an ongoing conspiracy

to protect the Clinton crime family and the Obama administration."

Four previous Uranium One related indictments were dropped in slap on the wrist plea agreements.

The deals were quietly hammered out in Justice Department back rooms and issued without announcement.

The FBI and DOJ deliberately plotted to cover up by intentionally withholding vital evidence

from the Committee on Foreign Investments in the United States (CFIUS).

Testimony that should have been shared with the Committee was made to quietly "disappear."

Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton looms ominously in the background.

One of her typical pay-for-play State Department schemes was exposed with evidence that money

shoveled into the Clinton Foundation at one end resulted in government approval of the

Uranium One Deal at the other end.

In order to accomplish that, Hillary needed the full cooperation and assistance of the

Justice Department, including then-Attorney General Eric Holder, his assistant Rod Rosenstein,

and then-FBI Director Robert Mueller.

The charges handed down against Mark Lambert, who used to be a top executive of uranium

transport company Transport Logistics International (TLI) are just the latest in a string of legal

actions brought against "individuals linked to the Russian nuclear industry and the Uranium

One deal."

This isn't the first time that these swamp rats have attempted to bury evidence related

to their crimes.

Several weeks ago, Obama's dirty antics came to light where he had threatened an FBI

official if he went public about what he knew.

The FBI informant exposed several weeks ago how Obama and Hillary were personally engaged

in "bribery, kickbacks, money laundering, and extortion in their attempts to corner

the U.S. uranium market under the Obama administration," according to the Daily Wire.

Now the FBI informant's attorney, Victoria Toensing, is sharing the unbelievable things

that her client endured under Obama where the unnamed male official was threatened and

bullied by Obama and his lawyers to include Obama's DOJ leader Loretta Lynch, who attempted

to coerce and threaten the FBI informant from spilling the beans on what he knew.

The Daily Wire reported:

Victoria Toensing, the informant's attorney, told WMAL DC's "Mornings On The Mall"

host Vince Coglianese on Thursday that under the Obama administration, lawyers from Loretta

Lynch's Department of Justice (DOJ) coerced her client into dropping a lawsuit against

the government last year.

"The Russians have threatened him, and up until just last night the U.S. government

has threatened him," Toensing said during the radio interview.

"He was told that if he didn't dismiss the case his reputation and liberty were in

jeopardy."

On Wednesday, The Hill reported that Toensing has files which allegedly prove that the Obama

administration wanted to keep her client quiet because the civil lawsuit would have taken

place during the 2016 election, which could have had a major impact on the election:

Toensing said she also possesses memos that recount how the Justice Department last year

threatened her client when he attempted to file a lawsuit that could have drawn attention

to the Russian corruption during the 2016 presidential race as well as helped him recover

some of the money Russians stole from him through kickbacks during the FBI probe.

Emails obtained by The Hill show that a civil attorney working with the former undercover

witness described the pressure the Justice Department exerted to keep the client from

disclosing to a federal court what he knew last summer.

This evidence of a cover-up is extremely bad news for both Hillary and Obama, as President

Trump makes his move to make this crooked duo pay once and for all for their crimes.

And with Hillary's right-hand henchman Mark Lambert being hit with a 11-count indictment

for his role in this treasonous Uranium One plot, you know that Obama and Hillary are

freaking the hell out as investigators move forward

with

the investigation.
