Have you ever heard the saying winning the hearts and minds?

What if you had to choose out of the two?

You had two win either the hearts or the minds.

How would you choose?

Which would you choose?

All right, the hearts is where you want to start a movement.

The minds, some people, they want to see the data, they want to analyze the numbers.

They're going to take a while to make a decision and decide if this is something they

want to be a part of but the people that are driven by their hearts, people like me who

follow their intuition and make gut decisions and just somehow know that's the right thing

to do, those are the people you're trying to find to start a movement.

If you've ever watched my channel, you've probably heard me say do and say what you

Well, if there's something you want to change and you do and say what you believe and you're

doing it passionately, you're going to find people are going to be like, "Yeah, that's

right.

We should change that.

How can I help you?"

Those are the people you want to find.

Those are the early adopters, the people that are driven by their hearts, the people that

can become a part of your movement and take it from something that you want to change

Nintendo's Cardboard Kits [Maker Update #68] - Duration: 6:09.

This week on Maker Update, a 3D printed thermal camera, Nintendo Switch gets making with Labo,

an 8-note harp with only one string, my favorite mini screwdriver, Scratch 3.0, and making

CNC designs by hand.

It's Wednesday, I'm Donald Bell and welcome to another Maker Update. I hope you're all

doing well. I have a fun, full show for you today, so let's get started with the project

of the week.

I gotta give it up to the Ruiz brothers again this week for their design of this thermal

camera project over on Adafruit.

The camera uses a $40 IR thermal camera breakout board, connected to an Arduino-compatible

Huzzah32 microcontroller to decode the image, and a 2.4-inch color screen to display it.

All in, with the rechargeable battery and power switch, you're looking at around $100

worth of components. Not cheap, but considering that similar cameras retail for 2-3 times

that cost, it's a fairly practical project.

It's also the cutest thermal camera you can get, thanks to this retro-inspired 3D

printed enclosure designed by Noe and Pedro. Every detail is custom fit for this project.

There are a few machine screws to put in, but most of the design snaps together.

It's a great project, and a fun one to show off.

It's time for some news. This week Nintendo announced a new program called Labo, that

creates and sells cardboard kits for the Nintendo Switch portable game console.

The kits, which go on sale April 20th, are essentially shells for the different sensors

of the Switch, taking advantage of the gyroscope and accelerometer, as well as an IR depth

camera that can pick up on the position of bits of reflective tape placed on the cardboard.

It's actually a pretty sophisticated system. And while I'm sure a lot of people are wondering

why they're using cardboard, I think it's great that it's motivating people to make

stuff. And considering all the Wii accessories that have been chucked into the landfill,

it's an admirable, eco-friendly experiment. I'll be curious to see how people react.

One more project I wanted to share with you this week. Check out this 3D printed, 8-note

harp designed by MakeFast.

The instrument uses a single string, wrapped around 8 bolts and grooved bearings, and a

single guitar tuner to tension everything up. The fixed position of the bolts means

that the single string, divided up, should produce a nice diatonic scale that's always

in relative tune with itself. It's a neat trick, it prints in about 3 hours, and the

hardware cost is only $7.

It's time for another Cool Tools review. Last week I showed you a right angle adapter

for a power drill. This week I'm going to show you a hand-powered alternative. This

is the Neiko mini ratcheting screwdriver. I bought it on Amazon years ago for around

$9. If you want to get this same one, using the Amazon link in the description helps support

my videos and the Cool Tools blog.

Sometimes, no matter how short and stubby your screwdriver is, it just can't get at

an awkwardly placed screw. Doorknob screws are perfect example, and I think I originally

bought this driver just to tighten one up.

Sometimes a screw is hard to get to by design and sometimes it's just furniture that's

up against a wall, or too close to the ground to get a conventional screwdriver in there

without it being a pain.

This ratcheting, right angle screwdriver has come in handy a bunch of times for me, getting

into tight spots. It takes any standard ¼-inch bit and comes with 7 of them in a little holder.

The bit pops in on one side and is held in place with a little tension spring inside

the socket.

Underneath the socket you have this lever that that changes the direction of the ratchet

mechanism making it easy to screw or unscrew things.

That's really all there is to it. It's a pretty simple tool with a smart design.

It's a great screwdriver in general, even if a regular screwdriver will do. The lever

provides more torque than you'd think and the flat, compact shape makes it easy to carry

in your pocket.

Also, unlike a regular screwdriver, the flat sides are easy to scratch or write your name

on, making it less likely to disappear on you.

That's the Neiko mini ratcheting screwdriver. You can get it on Amazon for $9 using the

link in the description. And remember, you can see thousands of reader recommended tools

like this at Cool-Tools.org.

I have a few more tips to share with you. First, the Scratch visual programming language

has a version 3.0 in development. The new version will run as HTML 5 instead of Flash,

which should make it more broadly compatible and also allow it to run on mobile devices.

There's a bunch of new features including a sound recorder and editor. I have a link

to the wiki page with all the details, plus a link to an online preview that you can play

with right now.

Also, Jon-A-Tron has a new guide up on making a flip-top workshop table. It's a great

project, but what really caught my attention is his link to an older guide from 2014 on

using hand tools to cut out objects designed for CNC.

Jon shows off how he designed this slot-together laptop stand in Fusion 360, used a print shop

to print out a large scale template, and then transferred the template to plywood that he

cut out using a jigsaw and a drill.

It's a nice reminder that you can take advantage of digital design, even if you don't have

a CNC router or laser cutter nearby.

Maker Faires! We finally have some Maker Faires to talk about. This weekend, there's a mini

Maker Faire in Perpignan France, and one in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. Maybe you can make it

out to one of those.

And that's it for this week's show. Be sure to subscribe, and leave a thumbs up,

leave a comment. Pick up that mini ratcheting screwdriver if you don't have one already.

And sign up on the Maker Update email list to get these show notes sent out to you every

week along with a few bonus projects. That's it. Thanks for watching, and I'll see you

next week.

Am I Going to Hell? - Duration: 2:59.

So are you going to burn in hell for eternity or have you been good enough

to go to heaven as your reward?

I've got news for you, most religions have been misrepresenting what the Bible says and

neither of these outcomes is true.

Let's look into this.

(music)

How many times have you heard that if you are bad you will go to hell?

Or that the ones you loved, who were good people, are now in heaven?

These concepts form the main structure of belief for most Christians but it's simply

not true if you go by what the Bible says.

The word "hell" appears in both the Old and New Testaments but in every example it is

a translation from one of these four Greek or Hebrew words:

Hades, Sheol, Gehenna, or ge hinnom, and Tartarus

Both Hades and Sheol literally mean grave or pit.

Gehenna is the Greek name for a place in Israel, the Valley of Hinnom, where they used to burn

unwanted children in a ritual sacrifice, and Tartarus is a place of confinement where fallen

angels are being held.

(1 Peter 3:19)

Nowhere does it say that you will burn in hell for eternity.

At the same time heaven is not a place where good people go as a reward.

When you die, you die, and your remains will end up in the ground one way or another.

Ecclesiastes 9:10 states "...for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in

the grave where you are going."

The Bible speaks of a later period of judgement, but for all of humanity that has lived and

died; all are in the grave with one exception.

John 3:13 states that "No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven,

that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven."

Finally, consider this scripture:

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in

Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

Notice the word 'perish'?

It comes from the Greek word "apollymi" and means to destroy fully, abolish, bring to

an end and render useless.

It doesn't sound like eternal damnation to me.

Churches have been using fear tactics to persuade people to pay up for their sins for centuries.

They have also been dangling a weird carrot in telling people that we will spend an eternity

on white fluffy clouds.

The future is much more exciting than that.

While the Bible also speaks of a lake of fire, the eternal suffering of wicked men in hell

fire is not found in the Bible.

For more information on what the Bible really says about the fate of mankind please read

Transformers Movie History: Sentinel Prime Origin Story "When he betrayed the Autobots" - Duration: 15:12.

He personifies what a leader should be.

He's wise, compassionate, and a more than worthy warrior.

In hopes of bringing his world back to a golden era he strives to rebuild.

But as war rages on he becomes hardened and his options become smaller.

Because sometimes the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.

His name is Sentinel Prime.

This is his origin story.

(Epic Music)

What's up you guys? My name is RBG and welcome to my video segment, Transformers Movie Universe History.

In a previous episode I did a video covering the origins of our old Autobot who's built to last, Ironhide.

At the time of making this video I'm not sure how many views it's garnered since this is a Patreon sponsored upload.

But I just wanna say thanks in advance to those who took time out of their day to watch & leave a comment.

As mentioned in all my videos that I myself am well aware of the hate the Bay films receive and have to agree that most of it is warranted.

But I wanna take you guys on a journey and show you some of the positives this universe has to offer

because if we're gonna be honest there are certain characters in the films that don't get their just due.

Just a heads up if you haven't seen the movies or read the comic book material used in this video, it will come off a bit spoilerish.

So be advised.

In today's video we'll be uncovering the origins of the legendary warrior thought to have been lost long ago, Sentinel Prime.

Now this is an origin that I've been dying to make for a while now and I know a lot of you have wanted see it.

Sentinel Prime is essentially a love letter written to the fans wrapped up in a shiny metal envelope.

Not only is he 1 of the most compelling villains we've seen in the entire lineup of TF movies but he's also a huge nod to the source material.

Through the grace of the Cybertronian Gods, Michael Bay was very fortunate enough to get the late Leonard Nimoy to return to the Transformers franchise.

But it wasn't because he originally voiced Galvatron in the original movie, oh no.

It was because Leonard was married to his cousin, Susan Bay.

Talk about divine intervention.

"With this I shall make you my slave."

"So lost you are, Optimus. On Cybertron we were gods!"

In my opinion I cannot see anyone else doing the voice for such an iconic character.

Sentinel Prime for the most part was a course correct for the TF films that unfortunately Bay didn't take advantage of going forward.

He's such a compelling villain that fans can sort of relate to and til this day I've seen none who could top him from the sequels.

Industrial Light & Magic did an excellent job with his design giving him this old but regal look with the pirate looking beard & tassels hanging down from his chest.

And the pointy shoulders & shapes makes me believe that they drew inspiration from classic Japanese mech designs.

And is it me or does he look a lot like Alpha Trion?

But with all that said let's go ahead and jump into this origin.

For my references I'll be using the Transformers Foundation issues.

I'll also be using the Dark of the Moon comics to flesh out some of the smaller details.

Sentinel Prime was a direct descendant of the first Cybertronian, Primus, and was believed to be the last of the Primes.

A high ranking class of transformers who ruled Cybertron eons ago.

Formed by the first seven Cybertronians, the Dynasty ruled Cybertron and protected the AllSpark until they were betrayed by one of their own.

Sentinel told tales to his much younger Cybertronian brethren of how the Dynasty of Primes had called upon a legendary artifact, the star-powered AllSpark, to give life to their world.

But the AllSpark had been lost to history, and their world had tumbled through the cosmos without a star to orbit for eons.

Sentinel Prime had plans to rectify this, and he gathered followers who believed in his path to a new age of life on Cybertron.

With the help of Optimus, Megatron, and their legions, they searched the planet for the legendary artifact and a way to power it.

However, there were the Thetacons, a tribe of separatist Transformers who disbelieved in Sentinel Prime's vision, and warred against him and his followers.

While Sentinel's other pupils held off an attack by the heretic Thetacons,

Wheeljack's technical skills went to work creating a device that, once linked to the AllSpark, warped time and space, teleporting a sun into Cybertronian space.

"I am relativistically warping space-time in seventeen dimensions to within a tolerance of three microns" Says Wheeljack

"I'll need at least five more minutes."

"The Thetacons are breaching our defenses" said Sentinel

"We heard. Follow my lead, Optimus!"

before he could jump into action Optimus transforms and says

"Megatron..you'll have to keep up with me! "

"Elita-One..you and Shockwave cover our right flank. Megatron..we'll go up the middle. And let's try not to kill anyone..These may be Thetacons, but they're still Transformers!"

The Autobots went on a full scale assault with the brutal tribe losing a lot of soldiers during the battle.

But they quickly stop when they notice a bright light emanate over the horizon of Cybertron.

Through Wheeljack's technical genius, a sun is teleported into the skies above Cybertron, and its energy revitalizes the AllSpark,

filling Cybertron with energon, and new life.

"We've done it, haven't we Wheeljack? After so many hundreds of Quartexes..of war and famine.."

"Indeed. It seems we've save the world, Prime."

Seeing that Sentinel's teachings were right all along, the Thetacons lay down their arms.

And thus the planet was unified once more.

With life restored to Cybertron, new hatchlings emerging at a rapid rate, and the Thetacons building a temple around the AllSpark as a form of recompense

Optimus decides to accompany Elita-One back to her home city of Metrotitan to see her sisters.

Megatron, however, is far less content, as is Shockwave, who confides in Megatron that is he unsure what a world of peace and so-called "freedom" holds for him.

As Cybertron's new sun sets at the end of its first day, Sentinel calls for Optimus.

"You sent for me"

"Optimus! Yes, come here! See how the sun seems to move across the sky?

"And now it dips beyond the ancient city..but worry not! In mere hours, it will seem to rise again on the horizon opposite.

As Cybertron herself turns so that we may begin a new cycle. Now, go gather your things. We travel to Tripticon when the sky is bright again."

Giving Sentinel a puzzled look Optimus says

"What? S-Sentinel...I wanted to go to Metrotitan with Elita-One. She has-"

"There will be time for that in the future, my boy! We have much to do. Cybertron has not been united since the era of the Primes. We must establish a new government Optimus."

"But...what is there to establish? All the tribal leaders gave their allegiance. Everyone is behind you."

"Optimus..I shall not be leading our people."

Though Sentinel Prime had finally returned the forgotten concept of "freedom" back to Cybertron, he felt he no longer had a part in its path to the future.

Sentinel places his hand on his students shoulder saying

"I am tired. I need to rest. And...I am a uniter. Not a leader. But you...you see how easily you defused the situation between Megatron and your new friend?"

"What are you saying?"

"I'm saying it is your destiny to lead the Autobots..Optimus Prime. I believe you to be my lineage. I believe you to be a Prime... And it is your destiny to lead Cybertron."

Optimus humbly takes a step back and says

"Sentinel, I just...after all we've been through to get here...I just don't know."

"We have been through much. All the death...do you know what it was?"

"It was...Transformer killing Transformer. It was insults from generations past becoming tribal blood feuds. We became a planet of killers. Do I know what it was, Sentinel? It was evil."

And Sentinel happily says

"No, Optimus. It was learning."

He turns his attention to the city and continues on saying

"Look at Cybertron now! I know you; I know you need something tangible. Well...see? The future is brighter than the past, Optimus. And it yours to lead us into."

"Sentinel, I...I can't. Despite what you say...I know in my spark, I am not different from my friends. But...you're right. I do need to see what's real...

Learning about Cybertron's past...Finding the truth in the old stories...That is my destiny. I'm not a Prime...But perhaps I can bring some of their good works back to the world."

"Optimus I wish you could decide otherwise. But perhaps one day, when they speak of Cybetron, they'll speak of Science and History rather than war."

"I'm making the right decision, Sentinel. I'm not a warrior. I've never been more sure of anything."

Though Optimus was too humble to accept, not believing Sentinel's claims about his heritage, Megatron overheard their conversation and became jealous of his "brother."

Three solar cycles later, a huge crowd turns out at Cybertron's new capital of Trypticon to hear Sentinel Prime's unification speech

"Transformers of united Cybertron! You placed your faith in me during our eternal night.

"Well, day has finally dawned. And the war is over. "

"But even in this new age of freedom, there lie dangers. Our world is neither tame nor safe."

"The lessons of history tell us to prepare for any eventuality."

"To this end: Cybertron shall be ruled by two separate bodies, working for a common goal."

"The Autobot science division lead by the resourceful Optimus, will excavate our past and improve life in our present."

"Meanwhile Cybertronian defense force, commanded by the valiant Megatron, is charged with protecting our future."

"Together, ALL ARE ONE!"

Although Cybertron thrived on peace it didn't last long.

After two generations of successful shared leadership, Megatron fell under the sway of The Fallen, and reshaped his Defense Force as the Decepticons, declaring war on Cybertron.

Sentinel Prime was at the archaeological dig in Simfur when the first strike took place, and was quick to opt for a technique of self-preservation, rather than attempting to save the Science Division's work.

Optimus soon arrived to fend the Decepticons off, and revealed that his studies had proven the truth of Sentinel's words:

"This marking on my helmet. Arcee fount the same symbol among some of the artifacts we'd dug up. It's proof that Sentinel was right. It's the symbol of the Primes."

"It has always been your nature to need unassailable facts in order to accept the truth."

"And now I do accept it. Like you, I am a Prime."

"What does that mean, Optimus?" Elita One asks

"It means trouble."

As Cybertron was devastated by the worsening war,

Sentinel Prime was forced to make a deal with Megatron to seek out another planet whose resources they can exploit to restore their homeworld.

The chosen planet was the resting place of the Primes' Star Harvester.

Sentinel recreated the Primes' lost space bridge technology, fashioning hundreds of pillars that would form a bridge large enough to teleport Cybertron itself across the cosmos.

With Optimus Prime refusing to adopt a strategy that will result in the wholesale deaths of the Decepticons,

fearing it will make the Autobots no better than them, Sentinel Prime presents an alternate possibility

"How much longer can our planet endure? The War...it's killing Cybertron."

"I believe I have a solution...My experiments have come to fruition. I have created something that will guarentee an end to this war. If that is what our leader chooses."

"You mean we'd be able to crush the Decepticons. Kill the lot of em?" asked Ironhide.

"No. That's the method of our enemy. There has to be a way to win without resorting to wholesale murder."

"You can't be serious! Megatron wouldn't hesitate to destroy us!"

"You came over to our side, Ironhide. You chose us over Megatron. Why?"

Ironhide lowers his head and says

"Because we're better than him. You're right, Prime. It's not the Autobot way."

"Indeed. My invention does present us with another path to victory, Optimus Prime...your forefathers would be proud of you."

Sentinel further explains that the torch had to be brought into contact with the AllSpark to be activated,

so the Autobots launched an attack on the Simfur temple to carry out this action while Sentinel stood by with a spacecraft, the Ark, to await delivery of the active torch.

With Optimus Prime covering them and holding Megatron off, Elita-One, Chromia and Arcee are able to enter the temple and activate the torch,

which Elita then rushes into the hands of Sentinel,

"Starscream's on my trail" says Elita One

"I tried to lose him but"

"But he's Starscream. We'll have to move fast. I will pilot the ark to Optimus and the others at the Temple. Wheeljack, take the second craft to Tyger Pax and get the rest of the Autobots."

"But Sentinel..."

"What would you give to save our world?"

asked Sentinel as he proceeded into the ship

"Anything you know that."

"Then do this for me. Do this and the war's over, old friend."

And Sentinel takes the torch aboard his own Ark and goes to collect Optimus and the warriors battling at Simfur.

Upon arrival, however, the Ark is attacked by Starscream, and is unable to match his firepower.

A huge fireball consumes the vessel... and then, it is gone, with only a few burning spots indicating it had ever existed.

The horrified Autobots fall back, and Optimus Prime embarks on his new mission... to find and kill Megatron for what he has wrought.

In actuality, Sentinel's Ark had not been vaporized as believed

it had been teleported away by the space bridge technology it was outfitted with.

With all hands knocked into stasis by the explosion, the ship automatically jinked through space and time on a series of random space bridge jumps,

until at last, its sensors locked on to the energy of the AllSpark, which had since been ejected from Cybertron and had crash-landed on the planet Earth.

On its penultimate jump, the Ark crossed paths with the Decepticon ship Nemesis,

which had departed Cybertron just as the war was beginning, and was now also following the AllSpark's trail.

The Ark materialized from its jump into the same physical space as the Nemesis,

crippling both ships beyond repair;

the Ark made one final bridge jump, reappearing in the immediate vicinity of Earth in 1962, where it crashed violently onto Earth's Moon.

All the Autobots aboard perished save for Sentinel himself, who was in the crash vault and remained slumbering in stasis.

And that my friends is where we'll have to end this origin story.

I hope you enjoyed this history lesson because I did my best.

As I mentioned earlier I always that Sentinel was a compelling villain in the movie because his reasons were well warranted.

He wanted nothing more than to restore Cybertron before it was ultimately destroyed by war.

It's kinda sad because Optimus, the guy we rooted for aided in Cybertron's destruction.

Now granted I do have a couple hateful bones in my body for Sentinel.

I mean he did go about fulfilling his vision in a harsh way.

He didn't do fans any favors when he killed our beloved Ironhide in Dark of the Moon.

And siding with Megatron just seemed low even for a high class warrior like him.

But anyways what do you think of Sentinel's origin story?

Do you find it interesting?

Does it help you appreciate the expanded universe that the Bay films have presented?

Let me know in the comment section below.

Are Your Choices Instinct or Influence? | Decoded | MTV - Duration: 5:00.

(upbeat music)

- In some ways each day is just a really long series

of choices.

Some are bound to be great, while others

not so much.

Like that one time your friend convinced you

to stay out way later than you planned

and then in the morning you keep hitting

the snooze button, which made you late to work,

and because you're late, you quickly grab

a fast food breakfast instead of something healthy,

and suddenly you've found yourself in a shame spiral,

texting your ex for no good reason.

Send.

Oh on, unsend.

Unsend.

Any way.

Sometimes those seemingly small decisions

can have some dicey long-term effects.

And why we make those choices in the first place

might not be a coincidence at all.

Like smoking.

By now, we all know that smoking cigarettes

isn't exactly great for our health.

It causes cancer, heart disease, stroke,

lung disease, diabetes,

chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,

and I could go on, but you've probably heard

about all that before.

But even though we all know this,

each day more than 3200 people under 18

smoke their first cigarette.

And guess what.

Nine out of ten regular adult smokers

say they tried their first cigarette

as a teenager.

So the question is if we know that some choices

will probably have a negative impact on our live,

why do we continue to go down that road in the first place?

And why would the smoking rates in some of our communities

remain higher than others?

Well to help me answer these questions,

I've enlisted the help of my friend, Raymond Braun.

- Thanks Francesca.

Look before we get into this, Francesca and I both

know that we're all responsible

for our own health decisions.

And we know that big tobacco isn't exactly placing

cigarettes directly in your mouth.

- The good news is smoking rates overall are going down.

But the reason young people and especially ones

in low-income communities are at risk

isn't as simple or obvious as you think.

- Hint: it's way more complicated than

because it looks cool or I'm so stressed.

- The truth is people everywhere smoke.

But it's more common in low income communities.

And it isn't because poor people are more likely

to make bad choices,

which is a common and misguided assumption

that we've debunked before.

It's because those of us that live in low income areas

have been set up with a variety

of environmental circumstances

that make it a lot easier to pick up a cigarette.

- Tobacco companies have always been aware

that people in poor areas are vulnerable to smoking.

In fact, if you wanna know something super shady,

big tobacco used to give away free cigarettes

to children in poor neighborhoods in housing projects.

And even proposed distributing them with food stamps

specifically to low income women.

And though they can't be quite that obvious any more,

big tobacco is still working hard

to encourage people to smoke in low income areas.

How do they do it?

- First, big tobacco places ads for cigarettes

at gas stations and bodegas

which are often close to schools in low income communities

where teens can't help but notice them

day in and day out.

And while most people want to believe

they're immune to advertising, in reality...

- Regularly seeing tobacco ads can have an impact

on you even if you aren't actually going out of your way

to read them.

And if you happen to live in a poor neighborhood,

the number of ads you're likely to see

goes way, way up.

And along with it, the aspiration to look or feel

as happy and carefree as the airbrushed models

posing on a yacht.

- If you still don't think these ads have a major impact,

after some state governments attempted to ban

tobacco ads near playgrounds and schools,

which seems like a good idea,

the tobacco industry actually went to the Supreme Court

to fight for their right to keep the advertising

and they won.

I'm guessing they think those ads work.

- But listen, at the end of the day,

we all know we're being marketed to, right?

But what about when the marketing tactics

aren't as cut and dry as the television commercial

or a sign in the shop window.

Without being able to advertise on TV or billboards,

after all their products are essentially proven to kill you,

big tobacco relies on another seemingly innocuous

but highly effective tactic.

Hidden discounting.

- Yup, it might not seem like a big deal,

but big tobacco tries to make their products

as cheap as possible by spending almost

all of their marketing budget on discounting cigarettes

even before they hit the shelves.

In fact they spend 25 million every day on marketing

in the U.S.

80 percent of which goes specifically to discounting.

On top of that, tobacco companies actually manipulate

nicotine levels to keep smokers addicted.

One even biologically engineered their plants

to have twice the normal level of nicotine.

So not only are cigarettes becoming more addictive,

but the discounting makes sure

you'll never be priced out of your addiction.

You shouldn't have.

No, you really shouldn't have.

- So let me get this straight.

You grow up in one of these lower income communities

seeing more tobacco ads

than your friends in other neighborhoods.

You're surrounded by more tobacco retailers

than other neighborhoods.

Get cheaper cigarettes because of the deceptive discounting.

And the nicotine levels are being played with

to keep me coming back for more?

That is messed up.

- Listen, we all have free will to make

whatever choices we want in life.

But when it comes to smoking,

regardless of what community, background, gender

or religion you belong to, it's important to realize

how the tobacco industry very deliberately

sets people up so those choices are a whole lot easier

to make.

- So before you judge someone for smoking,

maybe check the tobacco industry first.

- We'd like to give a special shot out to Raymond Braun

and The Truth campaign for helping out with this episode.

If you're curious about big tobacco's history

of targeting and want to get involved in the movement

to ends smoking, check out thetruth.com.

Thanks for watching, and we'll see you next time

right here on Decoded.

- [Both] Bye.

SMS paging - Duration: 4:41.

I want to offer two business ideas based on the SMS-paging service. Briefly about the service. The SMS-paging service is now rapidly developing in Russia. It turns a cell phone not only into a phone, but also into a pager, so the need for a pager disappears, because a cell phone is a more powerful tool for communication and work, and its price is close to the pager's price. SMS - these are short messages that can be exchanged between subscribers of a cellular network. Idea number ONE To be engaged in providing such a service in your city. Even if this service is already provided in your city, you can make a healthy competition, because you will use cheaper channels (see below). Let's calculate what approximate investments are required (calculations will be carried out for a city whose population is approximately 800'000): Rental of premises - 2'000-3'000 rubles / month. 4 operators (round the clock for 8 hours a day, every four days break) - 2'000 rubles / operator, total 8'000 rubles / month. Computer (do not need a powerful machine) - 12'000-15'000 rubles. Dedicated Internet - a maximum of 1'000 rubles per month. (very little traffic is required). Advertising campaign (initial) - 10'000 rub. Advertising campaign (monthly) - 5'000 rub. / Month. Total - a maximum of 17'000 rubles / month; at a time 25'000 rubles. Now calculate the income: The cost of SMS messages take 2 cents with taxes (0.02 USD, below it is described where it is more profitable to send SMS). The final cost of the message will cost 0.1 USD - this is 2.5 cents cheaper than what has already been done (if done). Usually the cost is 0,125 USD for one message, or 4 rubles. Let's calculate how many customers need: 17'000 / 32 = 531.25 USD expenses We have 0.08 from one message, 531 / 0.08 ~ = 6640 6640 messages per month - and the business is already afloat. As practice and survey showed, one client receives an average of 5 messages, which means that 5 * 30 = 150 messages per month, which means that you need to dial only 5312/150 ~ = 45 clients (!) Total 45 clients and monthly expenses already pay off !!! In a city with a population of 800'000 it is really possible to collect 1000 clients, this means you will earn 12000-531 = 11469 (!). Of course, we need to understand that one operator's place can not be avoided, but, nevertheless, the profit is very high. So, now the main question arises, where to get messages at such low prices? I'll describe a few SMS providers that work really well at low prices and with whom you can sign a real contract that will not disappear and do not stop their services suddenly and work with many cellular operators. SMSMail.ru (http://corp.smsmail.ru) - the message cost is 0,02-0,03 USD depending on the volumes. Smski.ru (http://corp.smski.ru) - the cost of the message is 0.006 (this is not a typo! At very high volumes) - 0.02 USD. I myself use gates smski.ru, pleases the speed of delivery, convenient interfaces and, of course, the price, although I heard good reviews about smsmail.ru. On the Internet I met several more gates several times, but the prices are too high, then they do not enter into a contract and so on, and so on, trust falls right away. Will connect you for free, you will only pay for the messages sent. Smski.ru generally deals mainly with corporate clients, the site smski.ru they have just for demonstration. Idea number TWO Go to the paging company, and offer them a SMS gate service, having previously agreed with the gate that you will resell. You can buy, say, 0.02, and sell at 0.03. With 10000 messages, you have 100 bucks doing nothing at all. You just need to agree once. P.S. I want to bring an interesting story, maybe someone will be interested. In the city of N, with a population close to 600,000, a similar service was formed, in less than a month it was successfully purchased by the AltaiGrift paging company for $ 20,000.

Invincible Iron Man #595 Review - Duration: 3:06.

Written by Brian Michael Bendis Penciled by Alex Meleev and Stefano Caselli

Dr. Doom explains what is going on with Tony Stark.

The coma, the whole missing thing.

He says that for the time being, he intends to carry the mantle until the real Stark can

return.

He stares down Dr. Amara Perara who holds him at gunpoint... until he notices the pre-natal

vitamins in her grocery bag.

With that, he teleports away.

Meanwhile, Riri flies over the city talking with her Tony AI, who has quite a lot to say

about CEO surrogate Eric Lynch.

Suddenly her boot boosters stop working.

She crash lands on her street in front of her crush, Xavier King.

They walk into her garage and see scores of Stark bots raiding her stuff.

Melina Vostokof explains that the property belongs to Stark Enterprises until Riri threatens

to go to the press.

Elsewhere the real Tony Stark awakens to see his birth mother pulling off his helmet.

Due to the bilogical experiments he's been running on himself through the years, he's

undergone some physical changes.

Mary Jane runs into the hospital room and says over comms that they found him.

Suddenly the entire Marvel universe stands at his bedside ready to help.

Leading the charge is his dead best friend, Rhodey.

It all begins to make sense... as Tony remains in the heap on the floor.

It was all a dream.

In France, Victor returns to his home and stands in his kitchen in thought.

He's surprised by the Hood who pulls twin pistols and fires.

Victor dissipates into black smoke out the side of the wall.

The issue wraps with Amanda Armstrong wrapping up an unsuccessful conference call with several

superheroes.

She calls on Friday and they realize there's a copy of Tony's consciousness possessed by

Riri.

They call him and ask him where Tony is.

He starts to answer... but whatever he says will have to wait as this issue is left to

be continued.

Reading this issue made me realize how awesome Alex Maleev's art in Infamous Iron Man was.

While it's definitely cool that Doom and Riri have been combined into the same book, I'm

a little confused with where it's headed.

Obviously Dan Slott will take over for Bendis at some point, but his style coupled with

what they did together in Infamous...combined with Riri's story drawn by Caselli is weird.

Still really cool though.

This is setting up to be a great story in the end and wrapping up Brian's time at Marvel

looks to be one of the greatest comic swan songs I've seen.

I give this one a 9/10.

If you like this video, there's hundreds more like it, spanning several current and classic

story arcs.

Dragon Ball FighterZ - 5 TEENY TINY Details You Should Know - Duration: 7:24.

Dragon Ball Fighter-Z or FighterZ, however you say say it, is set to grace us with a

lovely marriage of the beloved anime series and fighting game for the upteenth time, although

this one looks closer to the anime than any have come before it.

Hey folks, Jake here, and today let's talk about five teeny tiny details you should know

about Dragon Ball FighterZ.

Hitting the first entry on this list at number five is something I went into a little bit

in my five big details video, but for this entry I wanted to talk about how the process

went for the creation of Android 21 by Dragon Ball series creator, Akira Toriyama, and the

team at Bandai Namco.

In case you're in the dark about the newest android character, Android 21 serves as the

main villain of Dragon Ball FighterZ who basically brings in an army of Android versions of popular

Dragon Ball characters to fight Goku.

But, the fact that Android 21 was designed by Toriyama himself has been a big blurb about

the game because he generally is not involved with outside properties anymore.

So, Bandai Namco contacted him personally and told him what kind of character they wanted

to serve in the story for the game, and what gender, and other little details.

Then, they allowed Toriyama to draw out the character of Android 21 and eventually her

design was finalized and everyone was happy.

For the rest of the game, the publisher worked with Toei and Shuiesha, not sure if I'm

saying that right, but the anime studio and manga company gave them guidance on how certain

characters would act.

According to the game's producer they commented on certain behaviors written for Goku, and

even went so far as to suggest a change of dialogue for characters like Cell and Frieza.

While it has never happened before, as far as I can tell, the game's producer said

he would be happy if Android 21 was popular enough to make a jump from the game to the

anime.

We'll have to see how compelling a villain she is before we start asking for that, though.

And at number four on this list is that, surprise-surprise, you can collect Dragon Balls in Dragon Ball

FighterZ.

At the moment, it is a little bit murky on how you actually obtain the individual Dragon

Balls because of weird translations, but from the footage we have seen, the Dragon Balls

are collectible during matches.

So how it works is once you collect the seventh and final Dragon Ball, the legendary Shenron

will be summoned mid-battle to grant you a wish, just like in the anime.

From there, you will have four choices for your wish, which are, and I'm going off

translations, but the options are refilling your character's health bar, reviving your

downed teammates, increased blue health regeneration or, quote, immortality, and a free Sparkling

blast activation or "Ultimate Power."

A quick note on that immortality thing, I want to make sure people understand it's

not actual immortality just better health regeneration.

But, since we found out about this mechanic, people have been wondering how this will affect

competitive play.

This looks like it will be more of an offline or casual gameplay tactic, but it could make

its way over to the competitive scene.

Some players are hoping it operates similarly to Injustice 2's gear, where you can turn

it off when playing competitively.

Arc System Works has a great reputation in the fighting game community and we'll likely

get some confirmation from them soon on whether ot not the feature will make it into tournament

play, or we might even get the info from the second beta that was just announced at the

time of making this video.

Whatever the case, I'm sure the developer will include an option for those purists to

keep their matches Dragon Ball free.

And at number three, the halfway point of the list, we have the possibility for a Nintendo

Switch release for the game.

Now, there is nothing absolutely confirmed about this, but there are a few things that

lead some sections of the internet to believe that Dragon Ball FighterZ will see an eventual

release on the Switch.

One is that it is a perfect home for the game.

Another portable Dragon Ball Z fighting game, one with good enough graphics to make a passerby

think they're watching the anime?

Yes, please.

The engine used to run the game, Unreal Engine 4's UE4.15 is compatible with the operating

system of the Nintendo Switch, making it prime for a port some time in the future.

The leaker of said information has even said to expect the port some time in the fall of

this year, so it will be a little later than the original release on January 26th, but

later is better than never.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 recently made it onto the switch as well, showing the publisher

is ready to support Nintendo's newest console.

In addition to that, Dark Souls, another Bandai Namco property is getting a remastered release

on the system, so let's hope that they follow suit with Dragon Ball FighterZ.

And at number two on this list is something I'm a little bit sad to say, and that is

that this game will feature yet another amnesia stricken character in a game.

I've been pretty positive about this game so far, and I will continue to be right after

this, but when I found out that Goku will be stricken with amnesia after Android 21

arrives in the story mode I was a little bit disappointed.

The story goes, Android 16 will be reawoken and then will somehow wake up or call in Android

21, it's not really all that clear and then… amnesia.

There's not a whole lot to say about this other than it's been done a million upon

million times before in games and I wish video game writers could figure out a way to make

information seem new to player characters without resorting to amnesia so much, but

here we are.

Also, won't Goku be fighting android versions of his friends?

How will there be any emotional impact when Goku beats up little Krillin when he can't

remember who he is?

Maybe the amnesia only stretches back until the moment Android 21 arrives or something.

I don't know, I have enough faith in the people behind the game to believe it will

work so we'll just have to wait and see how the whole thing plays out when we can

finally dig into the story mode.

And finally, for number one on the list of 5 teeny tiny things you need to know about

Dragon ball Fighter Z, we have the most concrete confirmation that Piccolo loves Gohan more

than his own father we've gotten up to this point.

This entry is kind of a joke, but for long time Dragon ball fans it is nice to finally

hear what the community has been saying for years, Goku is a terrible dad.

Our confirmation comes in the form of a quote that you hear character say at the end of

a battle, so if you pit Goku against Gohan in the versus mode, you will get the following

quote straight from Goku: Gohan, you've gotten a whole lot stronger.

That makes me proud…

Finally.

Yeah, Goku is eventually proud of his son, not at first, but he comes around once he

shows him he can fight.

Now, of course, everyone is wondering, what does Piccolo have to say about this?

Well, once you fight with him against Gohan and win he says I'm proud of you Gohan.

That was an admirable performance.

Yep, that was what an alien who kidnapped Gohan at a young age in order to get back

at Goku had to say about him in comparison to his own father.

I know what a lot of fans are yelling at the screen right now: Goku's a pure saiyan,

all he cares about is fighting.

While that may be true, it seems a little harsh to say to your son after you fight him.

Apparently in Japanese, the quote was not as harsh and it translates to something like,

Gohan, you've become really strong.

I'm so happy.

So this little quote may be chalked up to a mistranslation, but it is still funny at

the end of the day.

And that's the list.

If you know of any other small details about the game I missed, be sure to know me know

down in that comment section.

Also, if you want to check out some of the bigger details we know about the game so far,
