Trump Just Decided CNNs Jim Acosta Needs a New Nickname

President Donald Trump has come up with a new nickname for Jim Acosta a CNN reporter

with whom he has been known to spar.

In an early-morning tweet posted Tuesday, Trump referred to CNNs chief White House

correspondent as crazy Jim Acosta.

According to Acostas Trump-friendly sources, the compromise that ended the three-day-long

federal government shutdown was seen as a win for Trump, but a failure for Senate

Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and his fellow Democrats.

The following morning, Trump quoted Acostas words, indicating that even Crazy Jim Acosta

of Fake News CNN agrees the Democrats caved in regard to the shutdown.

CNN chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta is chuffed that he didnt get to ask any

questions at Mondays White House press briefing.

Acosta was so upset about not getting any airtime that he sarcastically tweeted how

bizarre it is that the White House didnt call on him.

Its really shocking that White House press secretary Sarah Sanders wouldnt call on

Acosta when he makes such brilliant points, such as not understanding that it takes 60

votes to pass a continuing resolution in the Senate or questioning if the White House doctor

is withholding information about President Trumps health.

Overwatch League Looks AWESOME, NZXT Motherboard, Nintendo Labo -- Weekly Download #78 - Duration: 6:24.

Hey welcome to Zach's Tech Turf, man it feels good to be back here.

Today on Weekly Download number 78 I'm gonna be playing some Destiny 2, I got my cup of

coffee right here, make sure you guys let me know what you're sippin on, let's get

into it.

To start off the tech news this week, let's quickly address this yet another crazy graphics

card price hike and then we'll move on.

I'm sure you've seen by now that prices of GPUs absolutely skyrocketed as of a couple

weeks ago, once again due to the crypto mining boom.

Prices were just starting to normalize after a few months but now they've quickly shot

back up and the prices are ridiculous.

I actually just snagged this GTX 1080TI for about 700 bucks the day before it shot up

to $1300, and the cheapest GTX 1060 that you can find is over $400.

That's insane.

Nvidia released a pretty weak statement to retails by recommending that they put a 2

card limit on people's orders, that way more gamers can get their hands on the cards

and not crypto miners buying in bulk, but that's a pretty lousy attempt in my opinion.

I actually released a video in 2017 about the best GPU that you can buy during the crypto

mining crysis, and that actually still holds true so check that out if you're interested.

Dipping into last week's news because I didn't make a Weekly Download, NZXT introduced

their own motherboard which is finally caused some stir up and attention into the motherboard

market.

Look how unique this thing looks.

Everything except the CPU, PCI-e slots, and a few other things is covered with matte colored

material, and it will definitely make custom builds look super clean, which as you guys

know, clean is definitely my style.

I have a feeling that this N7 Z730 will be a bit too expensive for most consumers out

there, but I'm happy to see a unique approach to the motherboard design so hopefully that

means we'll see even better competition in that market soon.

Another piece of somewhat old news at this point is did you guys see Nintendo Labo?

Oh my goodness, so Nintendo created a bunch of these cardboard cutouts to use with your

switch.

From that picture there you can see that you can build different type of quote Controllers

for your switch such as motorcycle handles.

There are already some crazy cutouts out there such as a fishing rod, piano keyboard, a camera,

some type of house.

I don't know, either way I actually think that this is a decent idea, as this will allow

Nintendo to see which designs sell the best, and then they can make an actual controller

for it in the future.

Samsung just updated their SATA SSD line with the new 860 Pro and 860 EVO SSD's.

Just like normal, the Pro model is gonna be a bit faster than the EVO, and they are both

packing a 5 year warranty.

I've actually been using both an 840 in my build, and an 850 in my wife's build

for years now and they are super reliable and fast SATA SSD drives.

And to wrap up the tech news for the week with our "What new device got RGB this week

series", that's a working title by the way and hopefully not serious, Asus launched

a 7.1 surround headset that includes a feature called synchronized RGB lighting.

This Asus ROG Strix Fusion 500 not only has RGB like most of the new baller gaming headsets

these days, but it can also synchronize the lights with your teammates.

Think about when you're watching and esport competition, do you do that by the way, more

on that later, anyway, yea when you're watching and esport event and you see that line of

4-6 teammates, and now all their RGB headsets can sync up and do some pretty cool designs.

Cool or nah?

To start off the PC gaming news for the week, there really isn't THAT much that happened

this week so we'll start with some sales and deals.

We just found out that the next massive Steam sale will be for the Lunar New Year on February

15th.

It'll only last until the 19th but this is by far the most excited I've personally

been for a Steam Sale in a while.

As you guys know if you watched my video on Monday, I just got an Oculus Rift VR headset,

so I obviously need to buy a ton of games for it.

I can't wait for this sale to kick off, I buy a bunch of games, most of which I'll

play for under an hour, and then feel awful about my decisions.

But on a serious note, which VR games do you guys recommend me try.

I've tried pretty much all the free ones and the only 2 that I've bought so far are

Project Cars 2 and Eleven Table Tennis, which I'm legit addicted to.

Next up I wanted to quickly mention to you guys that the Humble Monthly is pretty solid

this month.

For 12 bucks a month, which you can legit cancel at any time and i've done this like

3 or 4 times already, you can Steam codes for pretty decent games every single month,

and this month's bundle is featuring Civilization 6, which is still a pretty expensive game.

I do want you to use my link down in the description if you wanna pick this up, but I'm honestly

just mentioning this here because of how good the game is and for 12 bucks that's a pretty

solid deal.

Moving on to some news, I wanted to touch up on the new Overwatch League which is actually

looking like it's on a great start.

I follow absolutely zero esports right now, but this new League certainly makes me interested.

The Overwatch League is featuring 12 teams around the world, and the cool thing is that

they are locally based, just like real, I mean physical sports are, so in my opinion

it's actually really cool that you can follow a local team instead of one that's just

sponsored by a company that you like or something like that.

Blizzard is doing such a good job with keeping this user friendly because wherever you go

to the Overwatch League site, it's set up pretty much like ESPN where you can easily

see the schedule, the standings, rosters, replay highlights, news, and everything you

need all in one place.

Are any of you guys actually following this?

All of the podcasts that I listen to have mentioned this at some point and with over

10 million viewers in the first week, this actually sounds like a big deal.

I guess I'll officially become a fan of the Philadelphia Fusion, they're less than

an hour away.

And to wrap up the news for the week, Assassin's Creed Origins just released their first DLC

called The Hidden Ones.

It takes place 4 years after the main story of the game, and it's a showdown between

the Brotherhood of Assassins and the Romans.

It also brings a few new legendary weapons, outfits, mounts, and increases the level cap

to 45.

You will have access to it if you bought the season pass, or you can purchase it by itself

for 10 bucks.

Well that wraps up Weekly Download episode number 78.

I'm sorry I've been killing Destiny 2 on the channel lately, I promise next week

I'll play something different.

Well I hope you guys enjoyed this video, please drop a like down below to help support my

channel, and as always, thank you for watching and please subscribe for more Zach's Tech

Turf videos.

BREAKING!! TRUMP IS DOING IT!! DEPORTING Famous CELEB!!! HELL YEAH! - BreakingNews24 - Duration: 34:36.

BREAKING!!

TRUMP IS DOING IT!!

DEPORTING Famous CELEB!!!

HELL YEAH!

During Barack Obama's presidency, he did all he could to destroy this nation, and he

got pretty darn close to it.

Obama not only pushed back race relations decades with his manufactured race war, but

he also allowed floods of illegals to pour into our country unvetted and unchecked so

they could vote for Democrats in upcoming elections.

After years of witnessing this disgusting disregard for our nation's laws, President

Trump is in charge and working hard to fix the mess Obama allowed.

President Trump has been busy overturning Obama-era programs that benefitted everyone

else in the world, but the American people.

Over this past summer, on the chopping block was the Obama-era CIA program that helped

arm rebels who were fighting the Syrian government.

Then there was the Paris Climate Accord and NAFTA that only protected foreign interests

over America, and Trump has just been in office for less than a year.

However, the most significant cut of the year was Obama's hotly contested Deferred Action

for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) that caused the left to disintegrate into hysterics.

So much so that these Democrats have shut the government down until Trump grants these

Dreamers amnesty.

Not to be deterred by the shameless blackmail from the left Trump is pressing on and is

now deporting celebrities with an illegal immigrant status sending a clear message that

he is not one to trifle with, and all we can say is hell yeah!

Over the last several years, the left has flipped the illegal immigration argument on

its head by making those that cross the border victims instead of criminals.

They have brainwashed an entire generation efficiently into believing that these illegals

have every right to be here and the American taxpayer needs to open their wallet to pay

for them.

There have been marches in the streets, violent protests, and now a government shutdown to

keep these criminals here but that has not stopped Trump from making sure those that

are here illegally go back to where they came from, and it is about time.

Two illegals that have been able to gain notoriety for their liberal activism have been detained

and are now being deported by the Trump administration after being passed over for years by ICE agents

under the Obama administration.

Here is more from Conservative Tribune:

Ravidath Ragbir and Jean Montrevil, both prominent figures within the pro-illegal immigration

group New Sanctuary Coalition of New York City, were detained and deported by Immigration

and Customs Enforcement after years of being allowed to stay in the country at the discretion

of federal officials — in spite of the fact that both had been convicted of serious crimes.

According to the New York Daily News, Ragbir was detained by ICE on Jan. 11 and informed

that his reprieve from deportation would not be extended further.

Ragbir, executive director of New Sanctuary, was checking in at the ICE office in New York

City when he was detained.

While Ragbir had immigrated to the United States legally back in 1991 from Trinidad

and Tobago, he was convicted of wire fraud in 2000, according to The New York Times.

Ragbir received a deportation order in 2006, but in 2011 ICE officials in New York City

gave him a reprieve of deportation.

That reprieve was extended last April, but ICE officials informed Ragbir that reprieve

would not be extended further.

A judge will now decide his fate.

One week later, Haitian national Jean Montrevil — a co-founder of New Sanctuary — was

deported after being taken into custody in early January.

Montrevil, who had entered the United States in 1986, had served time on a drug possession

charge and was in the process of appealing a deportation order.

According to The Intercept, Montrevil's lawyer said his client "believed that he

had reached an understanding with ICE officials."

The general consensus among members of the activist community was that these arrests

were targeted acts.

Well, of course, they feel that the acts were targeted, but that could not be further from

the truth.

In fact, these two "activists" were breaking the law by living in the country illegally

and had been passed over numerous time for deportation in the past.

This was not a vendetta against them but rather a president FINALLY enforcing our immigration

laws that have been ignored for almost a decade and more.

However, there is more to the story as there always is when you are dealing with lying

leftists.

These two illegals are not as lily white as they are trying to paint them.

Mr. Montrevil and Mr. Ragbir brought are both criminals who have served time in prison so

under our laws they get a free pass back to their home country.

According to The New York Times, Montrevil served five years in prison when he was sentenced

to 11 for drug possession, and Ragbir spent time in the pokey for embezzling $400,000.

Both of these men committed crimes and served prison sentences which should have had them

deported in the beginning, but they were lucky and flew under the radar.

Now, their luck has run out, and they are heading back to where they came from, and

if their families are upset, that is on them.

These two men had every opportunity to become legal citizens, but they chose not to, and

now they have to face the consequences of their actions despite their "celebrity"

status.

What YouTube Partnership Program Changes mean for #SmallYoutubers | The good, the bad and the ugly - Duration: 10:11.

Well this certainly changes some things...

You know sometimes life just throws you curveballs, or lemons, or lemon curveballs

apparently... Last week, YouTube announced some changes to its Partnership Program.

So, to bring you up to speed, here's what's changing. Creators with

over 10,000 lifetime views on their channel can currently apply to be a part

of what's called the YouTube Partnership Program. Now in this program, YouTube

gives you some more video creation features, as well as the ability to

monetize your videos. This is done through an ad sharing program where

YouTube gives you a cut of the ad revenue that they make by running ads on

your videos. Now there's no watch time requirement, no subscriber requirements,

and it's a relatively low bar for entry. But as of February 20th 2018, all of that

is changing. At that point moving forward, creators must have a thousand

subscribers on their channel, and four thousand hours of watch time, which is

240,000 minutes of people's eyeballs on your content within a 365 day window in

order to apply to be a part of the YouTube Partnership Program. Now YouTube

has pitched this as a thing that won't affect the majority of creators, and as a

way to deal with some of their "bad actors" and copyright violations they've

had running rampant on the platform lately. In its blog post about the change,

YouTube says: Though these changes will affect a significant number of channels,

99% of those affected were making less than $100 per year in the last year with

90% earning less than two dollars and fifty cents in the last month." Which

sounds ok right? It's only the hobby creators who aren't trying to be a part of

the big game anyway that this hurts. And if it makes the platform safer and less

prone to copyright violations then it's totally worth it. And in some ways, I

agree with this logic. I want the platform to be better and

safer too, but the lack of acknowledgment to some key ways that this

disproportionately affects smaller and newer creators is, quite frankly, just

really frustrating! I've explained some of the issues associated with this

policy shift in great detail in a recent medium blog post - link is in the

description - but as this is about YouTube I thought I should, you know, make

a video about these policy changes, what you need to know, and how this affects

creators moving forward. First off, I want to talk about feelings. We small creators

feel really disenfranchised, let down, and like YouTube is pulling the rug out from

under us. They've changed the rules mid game and it's a blatant judgment from

YouTube that our content is not valuable to them because it doesn't make them

money. Which kind of stings. It's kind of like running a 5k and when you're like

50 meters from what you thought was the finish line, you find out that the race

directors have actually moved the finish line another 5k up the road...oh and there

aren't any more water stations either. So yeah, it all feels kind of crappy. But

this is about way more than just feelings. On the money side of things,

there's been this kind of toxic idea floating around created by YouTube, and

perpetuated by some of the larger creators, that says "well these smaller

creators weren't making any money anyway, so what's the big deal?" Yeah we're aware

we're not making any money...also not the point. So the way the system works

currently, you can see the pennies of ad revenue creep up over time and when you

reach $100 YouTube cuts you a check. Woohoo! The argument is that these new

standards are pretty much equivalent to that hundred dollar mark, and so if you

weren't hitting these metrics, than you weren't making money anyway. But here's

where the issue of pacing comes in. So I've been monetizing this channel for

about a year to a year and a half or so. Over that time, I've watched the money

trickle up to a grand whopping total of $60. Now, 60 bucks is not much in the

grand scheme of things, but I'd probably be hitting that hundred dollar mark at

some point this year, which is pretty motivating. But these new changes require

a higher level of watch time within the last year, and prevent this slow and

steady accrual of pennies over several years. So if I wanted to keep on pace

with making a hundred dollars every year and a half or every two years I can't do

that anymore. And that hundred dollars every two, or three years might mean a

new piece of equipment or software to try something cool, it might mean helping

to pay a bill that month, or it might just be some extra walking around pocket

cash, but the point is it has value even if it's accrued over a longer time frame.

And this is where we come to the issue of time, which is perhaps my biggest beef

with this policy. So I work to upload videos about every two

weeks. And I haven't been completely consistent with that over the last

couple of years, partly because life is a thing, and because I've had other

priorities, but also because of production time. So in order to compete

with a lot of the other content that's on YouTube, I'm working long and hard on

my videos to make them as high-quality as possible. Now I do this to make my

content more discoverable on YouTube, and to be more friendly with the YouTube

algorithm, but I also do it because it's important to me to make high quality

content for my audience. But this shift to the yearly watch time requirement

means that I would have to MORE THAN TRIPLE my current yearly watch time

within a 365 day window in order to meet this new standard to qualify for YouTube

monetization. It effectively requires me to shift my entire strategy and go all

into YouTube in order to make that possible,

and frankly that's not always feasible for smaller creators like me who are

doing YouTube as a part of their larger creative endeavors. Now, as a corporate

business decision, and as a way to address some of the larger problems that

YouTube is facing, I completely understand this policy. But from the

perspective of a small creator, we just got shown the door and told that we're

not welcome here. Now the bar for entry into the "cool kids club" is too high for

most small creators, or for new creators to justify the cost. Frankly, I'll be

shocked if we don't see a steep decline in the number of new channels starting

over the next year because of this policy. The last major issue I have with

this policy centers around the idea of value. So with this change, older content

which has been making us a little bit of money in the background all the way

along, will cease making money going forward until we hit these new metrics

again. So YouTube has basically said "hey, so you know how do you were slowly

accruing money on that really great content you made on your channel a few

years ago? Yeah well we're gonna stop giving you money for that going forward.

Oh, and also, you're gonna have to work really hard on your channel for free

over the next year in order to have the opportunity to get paid for the same

content again...that's cool right?" No! Not cool! It's especially insulting because

it basically says your content was once valuable, but it's not anymore.

Which, okay, I get content may depreciate in value over time, but the slap in the

face is that the content will suddenly have

value again when we hit these completely arbitrary metrics that YouTube has

decided to hang its value hat on. Oh, and by the way, who's to say that if I bust

my butt to hit these new metrics that YouTube's not just gonna turn around and

change the rules again anyway? Okay, so I'm getting all worked up over this

again, so I'm gonna shift my focus a little bit to the question of: "okay, well

now what do we do?" So over the last week or so we've already seen this huge surge

in smaller creators mobilizing their communities to help each other out and

that's super awesome to see! These are just a few of the hashtags you can

follow on Twitter, and I'm sure there are similar ones on Instagram and Facebook,

that are leveraging the power of smaller communities to help increase subscriber

counts and watch times for those who are close to the new metrics. And here's why

I say if you've ever thought about supporting a smaller creator now is the

time! And this is also when I put in my special plea, not necessarily for this

channel - though if you would like to please hit subscribe because every

little bit helps. But I'd really love it if you'd consider subscribing to the

National Lutheran Choir's YouTube channel, which I help manage. I've been singing

with this choir for twelve years, and they're like my second family. And over

the last year or so, I've been consulting with them on growing their YouTube

channel. Over there you'll find some really great videos and playlists of

some cool choral music that we've done over the last couple of years, as well as

some full streams from some of our recent performances, including one with a

world premiere piece that we did in Washington DC, last fall which was

amazing! So choral music is your thing at all, or if you want to support some of

the other consulting work that I do in this YouTube space, please subscribe over

there as it will help us out a ton. I've also compiled a list down in the

description of some smaller creators who have added considerable value to my life,

so check them out if you're looking for some great creators to support. The

WeCreateEdu community is also rallying around some of its smaller creators, and

has created a few playlists, so if you want to learn something and help support

some smaller creators check that out as well. And what's next for me and for this

channel? I'm honestly not sure but I do know that it doesn't really make sense

for me at this point to pour my entire being into trying to grow a channel just

for the sake of monetizing content again. But online video has

provided me a ton of professional and personal value beyond ad revenue, so I

don't really see myself leaving this space anytime soon. But some things may

change around here, and I'm not exactly sure what that's gonna look like moving

forward but I'll keep you posted as things develop. And honestly, the best way

to continue to support my work is by contributing over on Patreon. Every

little bit helps me be able to make online videos and other creative things

that you might value. Lastly, I just want to say thank you. Thank you to everybody

who has risen up to support the small YouTube community, and everyone who

subscribed to this channel, and followed along in my youtube journey so far. Your

well wishes, comments, questions and just general awesomeness have made this

journey totally worth it. So I want to hear from you: Are you a

small video creator? And if so, how do these recent policy shifts at YouTube

affect the direction of your own channel? Are you gonna keep uploading videos? Are

you gonna shift into a new direction? What's your plan? And if you love

watching smaller creators, who are some of your favorites right now, and what

other things are happening in the small YouTube community that are exciting to

you? Please share below and comments I want to keep this conversation going! And

hey, it's like I keep saying on this channel, we gotta keep going and keep

growing...and apparently perfecting that curveball lemonade recipe... So that's what

I plan to do, and I hope you'll join me for the ride.

that you resign yourself to a life of misery and despair right it's not like

oh I'm an addict and I'm depressed and I have anxiety problems and obsessive

compulsive problems and I'm just gonna live and be miserable for the rest of my

life no it's I have these problems and now I can do something about it so I

became hopeful and I became open to the idea that I could get better and that's

all you really need in the beginning then I asked for help and the amazing

thing about asking for help is that it works and the more that you ask the more

that it comes it doesn't always come the way you want it okay I had a really bad

experience with one addiction counselor you know I could say well she sucks and

I'm just gonna screw this it's like no no no she wasn't good for me I'm gonna

ask somebody else for help and I just kept doing that and doing that and doing

that and I called a friend who had a similar past to me and he was now an

addiction counselor and he said okay call this hospital tell them you want

help so I called the hospital and I asked for help and the lady said Michael

you have to be sober for 72 hours before you come to this program I was like 72

hours I can't last 72 seconds

how am I supposed to last 72 hours if I could do that I would not be calling you

and asking for help and I somehow managed to get the 72 hours and I went

and I was so desperate to stop feeling the way that I felt that I basically

still to this very moment do anything I possibly can to take care of myself

Umbrella Craft for Kids | Maple Leaf Learning Playhouse - Duration: 5:17.

The Maple Leaf Learning Playhouse

Hey guys, let's make an umbrella. OK?

There are four different patterns

but I think I will use the one with hearts on it, yeah!

It's super cute!

Well, how many hearts are there?

Let's see.

One, two, three, four, five, six, seven

eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen.

Wow!

Well, let's color all the hearts red.

Color the big ones.

Seven of those.

And color the little hearts. There are seven of those two.

And the handles gray and red.

And let's color the rest of the umbrella.

Wow, that looks great!

Well, grab your scissors and let's cut it out.

When you cut this out make sure you cut it on the thick lines not the dotted lines.

Otherwise it won't go together properly.

Yeah!

Well, there's the top.

And the handle.

Great, now we're going to do some folding.

Fold on all the lines.

One

Two

Three

Four

Five

Six

And the last one, seven.

Great, now grab your glue.

And let's glue it together.

Wow, now put that off to the side.

You can just glue the handle on like it is.

Or if you want to make it stronger, you can use a straw. Yeah!

Fold the top like this.

Get your scissors and make a little cut down the middle.

Great!

Now, grab your straw.

And cut it to size.

And grab some tape.

And let's tape it on.

Tape on the bottom.

And a piece on top.

Well, grab your glue.

And we're going to put some glue on the top.

Like this.

Yeah, and slide these pieces together like that.

Great, now we can put it on the umbrella.

Great, that's cute.

What other patterns are there? Let's see.

This one.

And this one. Wow, that's great!

Hey, let's sing a song about weather, OK? Yeah!
