So based off of the information released back in 2013 the 2 were at the mall shopping when

some crazed man came up and grabbed Sniper wolf.

So that's what the couple did.

But it turns out the man who grabbed her wasn't a crazed fan or anyth8ing but he was actually

an undercover cop who thought they were stealing from the store.

The couple ended up getting arrested and were actually charged with armed robbery.

The fought the case in court – but they ended up receiving one-year probation.

In at number 4--Jake Paul- Now this is one that's still up for debate.

So we all know last year that jake paul and his ex Alissa Violet broke up in a very public

way.

Right after it happened Alissa was snapchatting and was showing everyone that Jake packed

up all her things and was kicking her out of the team 10 house.

And jake was on twitter saying she cheated.

He sent of this tweet which had many people wondering and pointing fingers.

So of course everyone looked to jakes brother Logan and this was because he and Alissa hungout

quite a bit together and lightly flirted.

But jake remained tight-lipped on who it was.

Then as you guys also know jake an the Martinez twins had a falling out back in November and

Jake was sick of people thinking he was a bad guy and a liar.

While this was happening a fan tweeted Jake saying- This is like Alissa all over again.

To which jake replied- yeah and this time im not being silent.

Alissa fucked my brother- that's why I kicked her out- oopsie I just told them the truth-

im done being the bad guy.

Martinez and Alissa backstabbed me.

Logan and Alissa didn't reply to it.

And again its not confirmed to be true.

But it does seem like it could've happened.

At number 3--Keemstar- a few years back in 2014 many youtubers were going after Keemstar

and one of the things they would say about him was that he would abuse this girlfriend.

This is after one day when Keemstar started to post some really bizarre tweets saying-

hello my name is dj Keemstar and I like to physically and emotionally abuse my girlfriend

and im a fucking huge faggot.

Then 5 minutes later another tweet appeared on his account saying- I just stabbed my girlfriend

in the check with her own car keys cause I wanted to go out and drink.

So at this point people stated to assume this was just a hacker trying to mess with him.

then The final tweet said- this is a hack but its actually from his girlfriend who lives

through his hell and fuck him.

People didn't believe this at first but then the proof was revealed.

When you tweet it actually logs the place youre tweeting from.

And un this case it was actually coming from Keemstars home address.

People started freaking out and calling him a woman beater.

His girlfriend did go on his show to deny that she wrote the tweets.

But a lot of people wernt buying it.

Coming in at number 2--Vitaly- Over a year ago Vitally finally came forward with a huge

secret he was holding onto when he came out with a video titled why I did porn.

In the video Vitally mentions how he had a really rough upbringing and had a horrible

step-father who would beat up vitaly and his mother.

At the time Vitaly was working as a waiter at a restaurant so he didn't have enough

money to move himself of his mother out of his step-fathers house.

Shortly after he got a call from on of his friends asking if he wanted to make a video

for bang-bros.

Vitaly said since he was desperate for money he took the job.

Now while this was an uncomfortable experience he said it was worth it because it got him

the money to move him and his mom out- and he never had to see his crazy step-dad again.

And at number 1--Tobey Turner- Tobey Turner is a huge youtuber.

So when allegations started to be spread around that he raped someone people were shocked.

A girl named April came forward and said she was drugged and raped by Tobey.

She also made climes that she knows other women who have been rapped by him.

April said the 2 knew each other and had hooked up over a 5 year time span.

She said that back in 2013 Tobey began using drugs again.

In her confession she wrote- He set me down on the end of the bed and starts having sex

with me.

The entire time im mumbling and telling him to stop.

For whatever reason after this she claims to have hangout with him again when he laced

her vodka and laced her again.

April even had proof he laced her drink in the form of text messages.

After this a girl named Kathleen came forward and said she was also drugged by Tobey.

Tobey denied all of this.

We celebrate Thanksgiving to be with our friends and family

to realize what we are thankful for this year.

I'm thankful for my family and I'm thankful for my home

it's a great place and my family provides many things for me.

I just recently moved to Seattle and I'm thankful for my friends

and family who made Seattle feel like a home.

I have three brothers, all triplets

and I'm just happy to be around them.

Yeah, probably family and Star Wars.

My papa, my mom's dad. He's had pancreatic cancer for like a year,

Stage four and so I'm just thankful that he's still with us.

My favorite part is probably getting together with friends and family

and just celebrating all of what you've overcome,

what you've achieved and being thankful.

We eat ham, pies, stuffing, gravy.

Macaroni pie, mashed potatoes.

Usually for dinner we have like stuffing the turkey.

Someone always brings mac and cheese and so the kids eat mac and cheese.

During the holidays we join with our other friends of ours.

Like it's an excuse to be with your family and like

just to celebrate how much you love each other and stuff.

Library Moments Episode 257 - Immigration Stories - Duration: 5:17.

Hello, I'm Bessie Sullivan from the Haliburton County Public Library and this is Library

Moments.

Once a week some of us from the library will come and talk about books, upcoming events,

or the services we offer at the library.

Immigration has gotten a lot publicity in the last little while and has stimulated much

discussion both for and against.

What can't be disputed is that North America was built on Immigration and as in any other

human phenomena there have been books written about the immigration experience.

Today on Library Moments Sherrill Sherwood, Erin Kernohan-Berning, and I will each tell

you about a novel that told the story of someone moving from one culture to North America.

Given that novels have been proven to increase empathy in a reader, sharing a picture book

like Dear Baobab by Cheryl Foggo with a child could have more positive effect than we could

ever know.

In Dear Baobab, Maiko has left his village in Tanzania far behind, moving to Canada with

his aunt and uncle.

Maiko struggles to fit into a strange new place, with its snow and a school bully who

taunts him about his ears.

He misses his African village, where his favorite baobab tree was more than 2,000 years old.

In his new home, Maiko feels a connection to the small spruce tree in the front yard

– it is seven years old, the same age as he is.

When he learns that the roots of the tree he loves are growing too close to the house,

putting the little spruce in danger of being cut down, Maiko tries to save it.

He knows all too well what it's like to be small and planted in the wrong place.

Maiko is happier after he shares his sad feelings with his sympathetic uncle about the tree,

how he feels that he doesn't belong, and he finally talks about being bullied.

Things get better, as his uncle promises, and a plan is made for the spruce to be moved

to a new place, where it can grow strong and tall.

When Maiko goes to visit the little tree in its new home, he whispers "You see, we can't

always grow where we are planted.

But we still can grow somewhere else."

The Master Butchers Singing Club by Louise Erdrich follows the life of Fidelis Waldvogel

and his family as they adjust to life in the small North Dakota town of Argus.

Fidelis, a German who fought in World War One, returns to his home in Germany where

he must keep a promise made to fellow soldier and friend Johannes to bring news of his death

to his fiancee Eva, who is pregnant, and marry her.

Fidelis falls in love with Eva and they do marry.

Shortly after Fidelis, who comes from a long line of master butchers, travels to America

– at first getting by on his limited English, the kindness of strangers, and selling sausages

out of his suitcase, and then eventually sets up shop in the small town of Argus making

enough money to send for his wife and adopted son.

Fidelis has a wonderful singing voice, and he forms a singing group of men in his new

home.

This novel drew my attention because my own great grandfather, a German who lived in the

former Yugoslavia, also fought in World War One, surviving being a POW in Russia.

He immigrated to Canada in 1926, sponsored by a farmer from Winnipeg.

After three years of doing farm work, he then sponsored my great grandmother and their two

sons – one of whom was my grandfather, and they came to Canada in 1929, settling in Tecumseh,

Ontario.

It wouldn't have been easy at that time for Germans immigrating to Canada or the US

– grappling with personal identity and post-war hostility, post traumatic stress from the

war, and settling in a new land with very little money left after the expense of an

ocean crossing would have been tremendously difficult.

However, Fidelis, like my great grandfather, and Erdrich's own grandfather, left his

country to make a new and better life for his family and in doing so also enriched the

lives of those around him.

Just about all of us have a family story of someone leaving an old country for a new one

– whether immigrant or refugee – but reading a fiction story somehow brings those stories

to life by turning them from distant family history to shared experiences.

Ru by French Canadian writer Kim Thuy won the Governor General's award for French

Literature in 2010.

The English translation was a Canada Reads title in 2015.

In vignettes we are carried along on an unforgettable journey from a palatial residence in Saigon

to a crowded and muddy Malaysian refugee camp, and onward to a new life in Quebec.

There, the young girl feels the embrace of a new community, and revels in the chance

to be part of the American Dream.

As an adult, the waters become rough again: now a mother of two sons, she must learn to

shape her love around the younger boy's autism.

Moving seamlessly from past to present, from history to memory and back again, Ru is a

book that celebrates life in all its wonder: its moments of beauty and sensuality, brutality

and sorrow, comfort and comedy.

As humans we all want a sense of home and community, people only leave that place of

comfort because they feel they have no choice.

As evidenced by our book selections, people from all over the world come to Canada because

it is safer and better than what they have left behind.

Canada offers them a sense of hope.

I came to this country in 1970 and I will always be grateful for the opportunities that

being here has afforded me, including living in beautiful Haliburton County.
