Top 5 Disney Movie Sequels That Were Cancelled - Duration: 4:45.

Obviously Disney movies are amazing.

No secret there.

And as fantastic as they are even they cant make certain movies work and know when to

cut their losses and that's what were going to be talking about today.

Hey youtube im court mcginley and welcome back to the most amazing top 5.

Before we get started I want to know- If you could make any Disney movie have a sequel

which one would you chose and why?

Let me know your answers down in the comments.

And before we get started I just want to remind all of you to please subscribe to this awesome

channel if you havnt already- we bring you guys awesome videos 6 days a week.

And Don't forget to give this video a big thumbs up and let me know down in the comments

what other top 5 lists you like to see me do.

Alright without further a due lets get started on our list of the Top 5 Disney Movie Sequels

That Were Cancelled.

Starting off In our number 5 spot--Cat in the Hat - Cat in the Hat came out in 2003

and did really poorly in reviews which is surprising because in the past Dr. Seuss books

turned movies have done really well- such as How the Grinch Stole Christmas which was

made both in to an animation movie and live action movie staring Jim Carry of all people

– Also we have The Lorax and Horton Hears a who.

But the 2003 live action take of The cat and the hat only scored a 10 percent on rotten

tomatoes- it bombed at box office and got obliterated by critics.

This shocked film makers as they actually had some really successful actors in the film

such as- Mike Myers- Alec Baldwin- Dakota Fanning- and Sean Hayes.

Before the films release there were talks of a part 2.

But after how poorly it did Seusses widow Audrey Geisel refused to allow any further

live- action films.

Maybe that was for the best.

And in at number 4--The Aristocats- the Aristocats came out in 1970 and Aristocats 2 was planned

to be released in 2008.

Turns out the sequel went through multiple different scripts.

Animator Tod Carter and director Jim Kammerud were the final 2 too attempt to bring this

sequel to life.

By the time they got to the script a good deal of the money for the sequel was already

spent on previous versions.

The project was eventually shelved because there was too much skepticism from the executives.

They just didn't think they could find a sufficient audience.

If this film was made we would have followed our favorite kitten trio as they went after

a jewel thief on the open seas aboard a luxury cruise ship.

In at number 3--Dumbo - Dumbo came out in 1941 and no surprise it did really well.

I mean who doesn't love an adorable big eared elephant?

This film was aiming to release a sequel many years later- 60 years later to be exact- in

2001.

But for some reason it kept being delayed year after year.

Then when John Lasseter became CEO of Walt Dinsey Animation Studios in early 2006 he

scrapped the idea all together.

The movie was going to take place exactly 1 day after the events of the first film.

We would have Dumbo and Timothy the mouse return.

And there were to be new characters including an ostrich- hippo- zebra and 2 bear cubs.

In the film this group of characters would be getting separated in New York City.

And while trying to find their way back to each other- each character learns how to fix

his or her own problems.

Theres actually a trailer of Dumbo 2 that can be found on the 2001 VHS and DVD release

of the Dumbo 60th anniversary edition.

Coming in at number 2--Snow white and the 7 dwarfs- Now instead of a sequel this was

going to be a prequel- But its still a second part of a franchise so im including it on

the list.

Also because its something pretty cool to learn about for all of the Disney fans watching

this.

So back in the early 2000s DisneyToon Studios started to develop a computer- animated prequel

to Snow white and the Seven dwarfs.

Director Mike Disa and Screen writer Evan Spiliotopoulos pitched an idea- The show was

going to explain how the 7 dwarfs met and how the Evil Queen killed Snow Whites father

and took over the throne.

It was going to be called The 7 dwarfs.

Makes sense.

DisneyToon management liked the idea but wanted to change the show to center around how Dopey

lost his voice when he witnessed the death of his mother.

Yeah that's uh pretty dark.

But after Disney purchased Pixar in 2006 the show was cancelled.

And in at number 1--E.T - E.T came out in 1982 and it was an instant box office success.

I mean with a director like Spielberg its no surprise this was an amazing movie.

It won numerous awards including- Peoples Choice Award for favorite movie- Academy award

for best visual effects- Academy award for best original music score- and Grammy award

for best score soundtrack for visual media.

Plus many others.

So when a movie does this well youd think there would be a part 2 right?

Well Spielberg and screenwriter Melissa Mathison actually began working on an outline for a

sequel.

They were considering making part 2 a little bit darker.

The idea was to have Elliot and his friends kidnapped and tortured by evil carnivorous

aliens with E.T trying to rescue them.

But Spielberg decided to scrap the idea before the studio got the ball rolling.

About this in an interview he said- I think a sequel to E.T would do nothing but rob the

original of its virginity.

I think he made the right choice.

And it just shows what a great director he is and how seriously he takes his business.

He could've made a lot of money off a part 2 had he gone through with it.

And there you have it that's our list of the Top 5 Disney Movie Sequels That Were Cancelled.

Thanks for watching and ill catch you in the next one.

170 Million Americans are Drinking Radioactive Water - Duration: 3:45.

170 Million Americans are Drinking Radioactive Water.

This Interactive Map Shows If You Are, Too

Everyone needs water to survive.

But in the United States of America, more than 170 million people are drinking radioactive

water, according to a new study by the Environmental Working Group (EWG).

The consumption of radioactive elements may increase the risk of cancer, which is why

this revelation is so concerning.

Fortunately, a new interactive map reveals the locations the radioactive water has been

found.

This may enable citizens to find an alternate source of aqua until the public health crisis

is fixed.

For its investigation, the EWG analyzed nearly 50,000 public water systems in all 50 US states.

The group found that the water supply consumed by 170 million Americans contain radioactive

elements.

In 27 states, water supplies exceeded the EPAs legal limits.

Consumption of radioactive elements is linked with an elevated risk of cancer, as well as

harm to fetal growth and brain development.

According to the EWG, the most common radioactive element in American tap water is radium.

Radium enters groundwater naturally through openings in the Earths crust.

Activities such as oil and gas drilling tend to disturb the deposits from the rock and

the soil; this can release ions (known as ionizing).

The EPA categorizes ionized radiation as carcinogenic and set safe limits in 1976.

However, the EWG says the legal limits are outdated.

This was made apparent when nearly all samples from the investigation exceeded California

state scientists public health goals for two separate radium isotopes, set in 2006.

They are hundreds of times more stringent than the EPAs standard for the two isotopes

combined.

As IFLScience points out, if California standards were upheld in all 50 states, no more than

one case of cancer per one million people would be due to the water supply.

As it is, the EPA levels allow for 70 cases per 1 million people.

Said Olga Naidenko, PhD and EWGs senior science advisor for childrens environmental

health:

Most radioactive elements in tap water come from natural sources, but that doesnt

take away the need to protect people through stronger standards and better water treatment.

Millions of Americans are drinking water with potentially harmful levels of radioactive

elements, but the outdated federal standards mean many people dont know about the risk

they face when they turn on the tap.

Which state had the most radium in its water supply?

That would be Texas.

Approximately 80 percent of residents in the Lone Star state has radium in its water supply.

To help consumers know if they are drinking radium-contaminated water, the EWG released

an interactive map that requires only a zip code.

The Gateway Video - Duration: 7:34.

Let's search for "video seo best practices". Alright, I got good grades so

my video could rank. But how does Morningfame actually know that the competition

is not too high for my channel? When you scroll down you already saw before that

there is this Gateway video. And the Gateway video is actually key to

understanding the competition of a search term. And to explain you this I

have ranking power.

Hey youtubers, Nico here.

We are looking today at one specific search term and let's look how the

ranking algorithm works for that. To do that let's first look at the competition.

At rank number one we have Brian G Johnson and he has certainly a lot of

ranking power. With close to 30,000 subscribers, four thousand views for his

video and many likes and comments... here, yeah. Let's add a little bit of extra

ranking power for him. This is basically his mountain of ranking power. Next, we

have Dean Etheridge and with close to four thousand subscribers he is

certainly smaller than Brian G Johnson but not too shabby. So he has also quite

some ranking power. Alright. And then we have next the Gateway video which is

Christina Nicholson who has only 220 subscribers and 327 views. So her ranking

power is certainly much lower than from the other two channels. Let's give her a

small pile of ranking power. And finally, we have Local Video Pros who are also a

small channel. But since they got many more views they certainly brought more

ranking power to the table. Alright, now the big question is how do

those channels apply their ranking power? And there is one crucial insight here. We

are not talking about one single search term where a video ranks, right? A video

ranks for multiple search terms. So we have to take that into consideration.

Alright, let's look at Brian G Johnson's ranking pile first. To see how it is applied

to all those search terms. The one we are looking at "video seo best practices", he

certainly applied some of the ranking power to there. And certainly part of his

ranking power was also applied to the other search terms. There could be

something like "video seo tips", "video seo best practice 2018" and so on. You know

all the search terms that are about the same topic. What a mess!

Alright, next up we have Dean Etheridge's video and he certainly has less ranking

power to play with. But since he ranked high for this search term here, he

applied a lot of ranking power to this search town. No question. But his video

is certainly ranking for other search terms as well. So some of his ranking power

goes to the other search terms. Alright, now we get to the Gateway video.

And as we know it doesn't have much ranking power to work with. So how did it

achieve in ranking for our main search term we are looking at? Well, it did it by

banking all the ranking power, most of the ranking power on that particular

search term. Just a few ranking power rice grains leak over to the other

search terms. How do you do that? Of course by having a very high relevancy.

You can see that easily here. We look at the search term "video seo best practices"

and all those four words appear in the title of this video. Same by the way for

the fourth video from Local Video Pros- This has the full search term in the

title and even in the description. So this video is also banking most of the

ranking power rice grains onto this particular search term. Alright, if you

look at the ranking power piles for our search term we are looking at, then you

see they are ordered by the size of the pile. That's how the YouTube algorithm

works. Each video applies a certain amount of

ranking power to the particular search term. So if you look at the ranking power

piles here for our particular search, we already know how much ranking power

we would need in order for our own video to rank here. So this way we could easily

say how much ranking power does our own channel have? Is it enough for this

search term to rank there? However, there is a big problem: We just don't know how

high those piles are. We don't know how for each channel like here for Brian G

Johnson these ranking power rice grains are spread across these different search

terms. We know how high the individual pile is for a channel. For each channel these

combined piles. But we don't know how they are spread. It's just too

complicated to analyze. So how can we find out how big those piles are? Well,

here's where the Gateway video comes in. We already know that the Gateway video

has a surprising low ranking power pile. So the only way it was able to compete

with the high ranking power players to the left, is to bank all its ranking

power onto one search term. As you can see here most of its ranking power pile

is located for our search term we are currently looking at. Only a few grains

spill over to other search terms. So the little spill over we have here doesn't

make much of a difference anymore. We know from this channel how high the

ranking power pile is and a little spill over or not, we now have an estimate on

how much ranking power is required for this search term. This is really the door into

knowing how high the competition is for this search term. So in order to come up

with the grading you see in the Morningfame keyword research tool, it analyzes

the search results. Where is the Gateway video? And based on that it can say how

much ranking power you will need in order to rank for this search term. And

also Morningfame of course has an understanding of your own channel and

how much ranking power your own channel has. And based on that it can give you

the grades. That is actually what happening for the first three grades:

subscribers, views, likes and comments. And since the Gateway video achieved ranking

for the search term, well, if we have even a little bit more ranking power than the

Gateway video, well, then our chances are high to rank there as well, right?

So when you look at the grading for subscribers, views, likes and comments,

have a look how your channel compares to the Gateway video. Ideally, your numbers

should be better than the Gateway video and that is by the way also reflected in

the grades. If you have a D for those grades then you are at least a little bit

better than the Gateway video. So that is actually the reason why the note below

the graph says that you should aim for Ds for the first three grades. Alright,

that's the power of the Gateway video. It's really a cornerstone in

understanding how competitive a search term is. So pay close attention to it. And

if you want to learn more about how to get the most out of the keyword tool

check out this video. Alright, cheers my friends!

Kyphosis, or Dowager's Hump, Stretches & Exercises - Duration: 12:52.

Hey everybody it's Doctor Jo, and today I'm going to show you some stretches and

exercises for... is that a video call coming in oh my gosh is JK! hey

JK how you doing? good hi! how's everyone doing? doing great doing great

over here.hey I'm shooting a video and I just want

to know if you can tell us a little bit about your channel. yeah definitely um

well I do a lot of cake decorating, so I decorate a lot of things that I'm

passionate about. so mostly movies comic books, a lot of

Disney stuff, but it's all comes from the heart. yeah. awesome and how can everybody

find your channel? what's the name of it? Oh my channel name is youtube.com slash

koalipops, so koalipops that's what you're looking fo.r okay awesome

excellent. and so I'm guessing that when you're doing all that kind of stuff you

get a lot of aches and pains and some stuff going on tell me a little bit

about that. yeah well there's this thing I'm kind of developed it's like this

hunch/ I think it's called like this chef's hunch because you're always like

over like a table trying to decorate and stuff your body is constantly in this

one sort of position. and that causes a lot of strain when I try to like move up

or like move around I'm so used to just being this way, that it's hard to

maneuver my body, so that it's I can stand up straight and that causes a lot

of problems for me. I could imagine that it does, well I've got some stretches and

exercises they'll hopefully help that out. so let's check it out.

awesome. awesome great.

So that chefs hump that JK gets is very similar to a

dowager's hump, and basically what that is is when your posture starts rolling

that upper back, kyphosis, bending forward rolling forward and if you don't correct

that, over time that can cause a lot of problems. so we're gonna start off with

really just trying to open it up, that chest with some stretches and some

exercises really just to get that opened up. first we're gonna

start off with a scapular squeeze. with the scapular squeezes, or the shoulder

squeezes, what you want to do is imagine that somebody's hand is right on your

spine, right in the middle of your back. and what you want to do is try and take

those shoulder blades and squeeze that imaginary hand back. you can use your

elbows to squeeze but keep them low and close to your body, so it's not squeezing

back this way, you want to squeeze down and back. so your shoulders stay down. so

it's not coming up like this, but it's coming down and squeezing back almost

like I'm trying to touch my elbows back together there as well as a shoulder

blade. so hold it back there try and keep those shoulders down for about three to

five seconds. take a little break and then do that five to ten times, but you

see how my chest is kind of opening up when I do that, so if you're kind of

hunched over, this really helps open back up that chest. so it should feel really

really good. the next one is going to be a chin tuck. with chin tucks they're

really great for helping correct posture in general, so a lot of times if you're

bent over focusing on something working on

something in front of you cooking, baking, your head starts going forward like this,

and then these muscles get over stretched and these get tightened up and

it ends up causing a lot of problems and strain and pressure in your neck and

shoulder area. so a chin tuck not going down this way, but you're gonna go back

this way, and what I like to do is just kind of place my finger on my chin here.

your finger's going to stay in one spot, but it's really just a starting point so

you can see how much motion you have just by doing a couple of chin tucks. so

I like to place it here leave that finger there,

and then keeping yourself level push everything back. so you're gonna go in

like this where you've got you know some double chins right there. just hang out

about three to five seconds, and then when you relax you should have a little

bit of space between your finger, and if you do that shows that those muscles

were tight and your correcting everything. so I'm here and I

pull it back it's opening everything up. so again three to five second hold, just

do five or ten of those and those should really start help opening everything up.

the next one is going to now start getting some motion again in those

shoulder blades, but moving your arms with it just open up everything. so

you're not hunched over so much. so this time you're gonna do a scaption

movement. and what scaption is, is it's not straight out in front of you that's

flexion, right out to the side is abduction, scaption is kind of right in

the middle, and that has to do with that scapula that shoulder blade, and so what

you want to do is thumbs up. you're gonna start with your hands kind of down

and you're gonna go at that 45-degree angle.

not here, not here, but kind of in the middle, and use both arms and just come

up and kind of squeeze them up. so what you want to do while you're coming up

and down is kind of squeeze those shoulder blades a little bit kind of

like you were doing that squeeze, and squeeze and lift up and then come right

back down. so not really a hold here, but it's just turning to track all those

muscles in the right direction, how they're supposed to be versus when

they're over like that. so just start off with about ten or fifteen, you don't have

to go all the way up, that might be a little tight, but just working that

motion a little bit. then the next one is going to be a tee position like the

letter T, not like drinking tea, but arms straight out with your thumbs up.

and this time you're just going to push back behind you a little bit and that

should help open up that chest area. so this is not quite a stretch it's more of

an active movement where you're just kind of warming up those muscles a

little bit to get into the stretches which will do it in just a minute lying

down on the ground. so just kind of pushing those hands back, but opening up

that chest area. so again it really shouldn't be painful, it should feel kind of

good cuz you're opening everything up and stretching it a little bit, so if

it's painful, don't push quite as far. you're still squeezing those shoulder

back, shoulder blades back, you go back, and just do about 10 to 15

of those. so the next ones are going to be on the ground and we'll start off

with a stretch for those PEC muscles. if you happen to have a foam roller the,

this works really really good for stretching those PEC muscles those chest

muscles, and you can do it a couple of different ways. and if you don't have a

foam roller I'll show you how to do it without one in a second, but this works

really good because if you can just kind of sit and lie down on the foam, right

on your spine, make sure you have your head supported so your heads not hanging

off, but just kind of be in this position where it's right on your spine and you

should be able to feel it without having to do any other motions. but then what

you're going to do is bring your hands up kind of into a stop sign position and

just let them hang down like that. and that you should really feel it in those

PEC area those chest muscle areas just like that. and if you want to change the

stretch a little bit you can bring your arms up some and then just let them hang

down. so this one's going to be a stretch where you really want to hold it for

about 30 seconds. so just let it relax let those elbows go down to the floor. if

they don't touch that's okay but hold it for 30 seconds. come up relax and do

three of those. the next one is turning it horizontally so this is going to be a

chest stretch but it's also giving me that upper back stretch as well.

so if you have that hump that kyphosis, this might be really uncomfortable to

start off with it. if you happen to have something like a pool noodle that's

really thin you might want to start off with that. a bigger one might be a little

bit too much, but you can use it just don't feel like you have to go all the

way back with it. so this time you're just going to kind of put your hands

behind your head and your roll it back and get in the position. first put your

hands behind your head and just lean back like this. so you can see that's

really just opening everything up. it's stretching that upper back and again if

you can just relax over it take some deep breaths,

and let yourself stretch so 30 seconds three times. again that might be just a

little bit too much if you have a lot of that hump going on. so now I want to try

something smaller you can even take a beach towel roll out that beach towel

and put it right there, and so you'll just have a little bit but that will

help open up that stretch as well. then to again help with the upper back area

and this one will get into the lower back a little bit as well just to kind

of loosen everything up. is a press up so now you're going to get on your stomach

and it's kind of what it sounds like. start off with your on your elbows, and

just hold the position here you want to try and keep those hips down and if

you're pushing up like that, you're not really stretching the back, so you really

want that that back just to curve downwards that way because again that's

just kind of stretching the spine in a different direction than what you're

hunched over doing. if this is easy and it doesn't really feel like much of a

stretch, then you can go into a little bit of a push-up position. but same thing

try and keep those hips down if they come up, you're not really stretching

that back, so you should be able to relax. if it hurts when you do this come on

back down to the elbows and then just hold that stretch for about thirty

seconds, and then do three of those. so also a couple things to do to help with

all of that is to stretch your hip flexors because if you're hunched over

all the time, those hip flexors become tight and then start pulling on the

pelvis. so you want to stretch out your hip flexors and you want to strengthen

your core. so we'll do those now for hip flexor

stretch. there's a bunch of different ways you can do it but an easy one is

just to get on your knees put one leg forward, and the one you want to stretch

and stay down. the key with this hip flexor stretch is to keep your upper

body straight. people tend to want to like bend forward and stretch like that,

but then I'm still not stretching that hip flexor right there, so keep your

upper body straight, and just shift your whole body forward.

so right here is where you should feel that stretch. so the same thing, with the

stretch hold that for 30 seconds do that three times. so make sure that you're

doing both sides so you can alternate back and forth to get the other side a

little bit of a break, but again keeping that upper body fairly straight and just

shifting everything forward until you feel a stretch in that hip flexor area

and holding it for 30 seconds. then the last exercise is a bird dog exercise

where you get on all fours. and this is really to help the core out and then

those trunk muscles in the back to help keep you nice and stable. so just getting

on all fours, or we call this quadruped, and then you're just going to do an

opposite arm opposite leg kick out. but try and keep your stomach tucked in

tight and your back fairly flat. so if you're arching down that's not good, you

want to keep everything nice and straight and then you're just going to

do a kick this way and then come back down and kick that way. so try not to

wobble really try and use that core to keep yourself stable, and then coming

back down. so just do about 10 on each side, but go slow and steady where you're

making that core work. so those are your stretches and exercises, hopefully

they'll help you out when you are making your cakes and all your awesome videos.

yes definitely um I I kind of need it so all of that is just if you have even

more I love it I love all of it. awesome will do will do. so everybody make sure

you go to JK's channel and subscribe to him and don't forget to subscribe to our

The Most Terrible Things The Cast Of Jackass Has Ever Done - Duration: 4:34.

Nothing really compares to the psychological and physical trauma caused by the constant

prank war waged between the members of the Jackass crew.

From flat-out disgusting to truly dangerous, there are few things that the cast didn't

do to one another.

Here are some of the most terrible pranks ever pulled by the Jackass gang… at least,

all of the ones we can show you.

Snake Pit

It's not easy to turn Bam Margera into a sympathetic character, but it happened for a fleeting

moment in Jackass 3D when the guys tricked him into falling into a snake pit.

Capitalizing on Margera's well-known phobia, the crew set him up to tumble into an 11-foot

pit full of phony snakes, then laughed as Margera struggled to free himself.

"Aaaaah!

Are they real?"

Of course, it couldn't just end there; the guys hired a snake handler to dump real snakes

on Margera, triggering what appeared to be a full-blown panic attack.

"Dude, I hate you guys."

Fireworks

Phil and April Margera have been perennial prank victims of their son Bam even before

Jackass began filming.

"Ah!

That was in the gut man!

He ruptured it!"

In a classic prank on Phil and April, who somehow haven't disowned their son completely,

Bam set off fireworks in their bedroom while they were sleeping.

And because every great Jackass prank has to top itself, he went for the twofer by placing

more fireworks in Phil's van, which went off just as he was heading to work in the wee

hours of the morning.

How Bam was never dropped off at an orphanage, we will never know.

Speaking of which…

Hotel gorilla

What's worse than a kitchen alligator?

"Is this thing real?"

For Jackass 3D, Chris Pontius dressed up as a gorilla and snuck into April and Phil's

hotel room.

When they arrived, Pontius went nuts, smashing up the room, leaving April fleeing in mortal

fear.

Again.

Phil, on the other hand, remained behind—not to give his wife a better chance at escaping,

but because he had to go to the bathroom so bad, he decided to take his chances on the

toilet with the gorilla just outside the door.

Toilet attack

In Bam's simplest and most stupid prank, he once hid a camera in Phil's bathroom and waited

for him to settle on the john before bursting in, slapping him repeatedly, and tearing his

shirt off.

We're pretty sure if Phil wanted to have Bam arrested for this attack on the porcelain

throne, he would have been well within his legal rights.

The prank became so notorious that it's been parodied more than a few times.

"C'mon Stewie.

You're acting crazy out there, man."

The Rocky

You know how in the Rocky movies, the actors don't actually punch each other's faces, because

it would have likely led to awful injuries?

Well, imagine if they did, and to make things even more interesting, one of them didn't

even know they were in a fight!

That's the entire concept of "The Rocky," in which Bam tosses water in someone's face

with one hand, and smashes them hard in the face with his other hand.

It's a blast for everyone involved, except for the person getting blasted in the face.

What's funnier than possibly giving your friends concussions, and definitely breaking one of

their noses?

"It's all fun and games until someone breaks a nose."

Beehive Limo

The Beehive Limo prank had it all: A double-cross, extreme physical pain, and innocent bystanders

who got victimized.

It was the perfect setup when Bam Margera and Johnny Knoxville locked Ryan Dunn, Wee

Man, Steve-O, and Dave England in a limo, then dumped bees into the sunroof.

No one is ever safe.

Not even bees.

Homeless beatdown

It's a prank so bad that it doesn't even make sense.

Steve-O puts himself and his friends in harm's way when he pretends to be a homeless guy

on the street being assaulted by his accomplices.

It's basically an exact copy of ABC's What Would You Do?...

except without any social commentary or value, and with the added threat of real physical

harm.

Steve-O's prank results in a physical altercation every time before it's revealed.

How could he possibly know that it wouldn't have turned catastrophic for himself or the

good samaritans thinking they were intervening on an assault?

Fort Knoxville

Johnny Knoxville's guest appearance on the Jackass spinoff Viva La Bam was nothing short

of an all-out prank war.

Throughout the 22 minutes of screentime, Margera, Dunn, and Knoxville relentlessly prank each

other until they've each had a vehicle completely destroyed, lost thousands of dollars, and—of

course—suffered injuries, both physical and psychological.
