Welcome to WickedBinge.
A place to embrace the best cinema and television.
Because we love your favorite movies and shows too.
It's no secret that serial killers are absolutely fascinating.
We've all binged documentary after documentary on some of the most depraved killers in American
history.
And as screwed up as it is, we've all got our favorite.
Dahmer.
Bundy.
Manson.
Getting inside these whackos heads brings us uncomfortably close to the reality that
evil is real and it can be lurking anywhere.
And that's why Netflix's Mindhunter is such a brilliant show.
The writing, the story, and holy-hell, the acting really brings us into their demented
world.
With season 1's amazing reviews and season 2 on the way, it's got us wondering.
What real life killers would be ideal for season 2?
Hi, I'm Kyle with WickedFeed, and today, we're giving you our picks for
the Top 5 Real Life Killers that would be perfect for Mindhunter Season 2.

Let's Get Started.
#5 Herbert Mullin
Ed Kemper, otherwise known as the Coed Killer, was easily one of the most interesting killers
during the first season of Mindhunter.
However, another serial killer was on the lose at the same time and in the same place
as he was, making Santa Cruz one hell of a dangerous place during the early 1970's.
That killer was Herbert Mullin.
He committed 13 murders and was eventually sentenced to life imprisonment in 1973.
Interestingly, the defense argued Mullin had a history of mental illness, and was in fact
a paranoid schizophrenic.
By his own admission, he confessed to the murders and claimed they prevented earthquakes.
Mullin could be used to spark a discussion on the show as to how agents handle killers
who struggle with mental illness.
#4 Patrick Kearney Allegedly having 43 kills, Patrick Kearney
sits among some of the most deadly and prolific serial killers in our country's history.
Active in the 60's and 70's, up until he was arrested in 77, Kearney was nicknamed The
Freeway Killer.
Like he more famous Jeffrey Dahmer, Kearney was known for seducing young men at gay bars,
before brutally murdering them.
Kearney was a necrophile, standing only at 5'5''.
A victim of childhood bullying, he would often choose targets that were far bigger than him
in stature.
#3 Jeffrey Dahmer
The Milwaukee Cannibal.
Jeffrey Dahmer is arguably the most iconic serial killer name there is.
Convicted of 15 murders, Dahmer committed necrophilia, cannibalism and the preservation
of body victim's parts.
And although the timeline of the show wouldn't fit for him to be one of the interviewed subjects,
as he hadn't committed his first murder until 1978, the writers could find a way to show
us Dahmer honing his skills.
Cannibalism, stalking or preserving human flesh.
#2 Ted Bundy Although a movie about Ted Bundy, starring
Zac Efron, is already in production, It would be cool to see the iconic serial killer in
Mindhunter.
Known for his handsome looks and charm, Bundy's murders were some of the most unsettling in
American history.
The killer would have sex with his decapitated victims until the corpses decomposed.
His defense attorney referred to him as the very definition of evil.
Miraculously, Bundy escaped prison twice, before being caught one final time in 1978.
That, paired with his 30 vicious murders, would undoubtedly make him very popular for
two FBI agents seeking the most notorious killers.
#1 John Wayne Gacy Gacy was active from 1972 to 1978.
Known for tracking down young boys and men, torturing and strangling them to death with
a rope.
Most of his 33 victims were found stuffed in his home's crawl space.
John Wayne Gacy was also a part-time birthday clown named Pogo, which only reinforces the
truth that clowns are terrifying.
Considering he was arrested right around the timeframe that season 1 of Mindhunter ends,
he's an obvious choice and possibility for season 2.
But what do you think?
