There is a person who is so charming approaching.

She is probably the best person you want to be with in your whole life.

She is really nice person seeing from her appearance and her attitude.

Even better, this person is also smart which makes it more appealing to be life partner.

Talking to her is like the best time of a lifetime.

She is always encouraging and she always gives the best care.

It is absolutely a waste of time if this kind of person goes away to other person's hands.

Time passes, and the chats continue.

The care and understanding she gives all the time is the best thing any man can expect.

Everything is absolutely fine since she tries to know everything about me, and I willingly

to share my worries.

A Month passed, but there seems to be something strange about her.

Is it just a feeling or is it real?

As time passes by, she keeps saying things that a partner should say to the other.

It all started from a small conflict which that has no relation to financial condition,

co-worker, and family.

However, she started to put the blame every time she has a chance.

This relationship is crumbling, the jokes we used to be entertained to be no longer

heard.

In fact, they turn to be a sadistic sarcasms that not all people can be survived from.

No one knows that the world we are living in is real anymore.

People suggest me to stay away from the person who was there when I was low.

I owe her as she listened to every complaint I made no matter how ridiculous it is.

Now, every words I say turned back to me.

They are used to fight against me.

The feeling is just unbearable.

And it's so sad.

I want to be free once again.

hmm $1 so you get six mystery figurines hey guys and welcome back today we have

an exciting Dollar Tree haul I think this is my biggest Dollar Tree haul that

I have ever posted you guys know we went to Virginia we're in California so we

up three at different stores all right so first up we have let's see I

don't even know where to that so it is a one so I found a lot of

pieces like this this is a really particle board but it still has that

faux wood vibe and I absolutely love this next up I found this faux wood sign

right here this says follow your heart and really you can use this anytime

throughout the year you know like it doesn't have to be for Valentine's Day

specific by the way all of this dollar tree stuff is a lot of it is Valentine's related

so I found this sign right here tell me this is not the cutest thing you've ever

seen if you saw that come with me to Dollar Tree video which I'll link in

here as well as in the description box and in the comments they also had a

one right here there's like a little galvanized metal piece I just I'm

totally in love with this whole rustic look so we take that three of these this

is the first time I have ever okay ever found these pure wood parts at Dollar

Tree okay they're like but this is real it's like a really thin

this is why I do hauls when she goes to sleep now because I just can't I

can't everything I show you guys she wants it and repeats it and I can't even

hear myself my camera is moving I haven't seen any of the items in terms

that I've shared so far in Dollar Tree except it's not really Valentine's but

it's like a little learning thing and you guys know I love to get this type of

stuff from Dollar Tree or zari these are just window clings and they're the

alphabets grab some more ribbon this is good to keep in like my little ribbon

then I found another beautiful wall

decor piece rustic a theme and just absolutely love this its particle board

held together by tape so I'm not sure how long this will last but I really

like it and I think I'm not really sure where this is going I was thinking

inside the but who knows then these next few items are definitely winter

their scarves but check out this dollar tree cheetah

print and you can use this for fabric if you don't want to use it for a scarf

that's what I'm thinking but look they have like little yarn fringe on the end

this one is my favorite because I just love believe it or not but it

just has like this little checkered pattern left some red a little fringe on

the bottom and this is nice and soft and nice material don't know if you

guys can see sorry is holding the part on her arm like it's a purse yes you see

your heart it's very nice is that your purse you

have to be careful okay the next thing I was so excited oh my goodness I'm always

excited when I find new things at dollar tree.you seriously it's I feel like

this right here is just a heart and it's like particle board material with a

burlap over top of it and just two little clothes pins right there with a

heart in the middle you can't really see but I thought about well not

this one right here but I thought about maybe sorry making something for

Valentine's Day and then we could give it away to one of you guys because you

all really loved her and she loves you too so I thought about doing something

cute like that maybe we'll like give away two things I don't know I don't

know if that's like a silly idea and I see you guys just let me know in the

comments this next bag right here this first thing I was like oh my goodness

but look at this hat you got it doesn't give you like a vintage vibe

I think I said that in the dollar tree but okay my head is to being active has like

the little you know adjustable strap goes okay now it's valid way too big but

you guys get what I'm saying here you can like this and obviously

tighten it in the back and I think this will look really cute it looks horrible

right now but you guys you didn't going you guys no we went to Disneyland

I couldn't find the Minnie Mouse figurine but I found it in Virginia so

of course I picked it up for sorry yeah she loves Minnie Mouse all right so

these are cute little canvas painting sets I picked up I think two and I'm

thinking grandma grandpa Lolo and Lola will ship those off to them because she

actually really enjoys painting which is a plus for me because you guys know how

crazy I can get I grabbed a ton of makeup from all three different stores

and you guys know I'm doing a Dollar Tree makeup challenge it's gonna be a

Valentine's Day special edition hopefully hopefully it turns out good

I'm not gonna you with all the makeup I picked up because before the

Dollar Tree Make challenge video I'm gonna post like a massive was not a

massive but a big Dollar Tree makeup haul video for you guys because some of

you all don't realize I don't really so yeah foundation brush eyeshadow palette

and then I found this cute little bracelet because of course I'm gonna

make a Valentine's Day little gift basket for zari and then I picked up

this cute little scarf not sure what we're doing with that makeup brush and

oh my goodness I know I'm probably late but I found some jewelry at Dollar Tree

I say jewelry so weird jewelry

look at this denim okay tell me this doesn't look like something that

would cost like $5 $1 super cute goes is ship and I found

that this which I think it's a bracelet I'm not like a huge fan of this fan of

this but I got it anyway you guys here muffins I'll keep my dollar tree hauls

be normal like there's always something going on all right so of course I picked

up some of the new Valentine's Day stickers at Dollar Tree and these are

like the three-dimensional ones we'll probably use those for the cards that we

send off and maybe a little bit of scrapbooking I also find this

metal collectors pin so you can collect 24 of them and they're just little pins

on the inside it would probably be super cute on like a book bag but you guys

know I love little mystery packs so I had to pick it I found this it's like a

little card or picture holder and it says love is in the air I think this is

gonna be good for Papa Bear because it's cuz I found some lashes at Dollar Tree

that you guys will see again some a lash glue this angle contour brush this

kabuki brush right here is super cute Gold sparkly headband I think it's too

big for sorry but I can always you know improvise like more eyeshadow brushes

and eye shadow pilots like I said make sure you come back for the Dollar Tree

makeup haul because I don't want to bore you guys with so much makeup stuff so

this right here was a huge score and I wish it was glass but it's not look at

these you guys little mason jars I think they're intended to be like little craft

jars which I'm gonna use them for but how adorable is this little mason jars

one dollar yes that is

can you see I picked up a three of those and then I pick up some more cute little

craft items before sorry to make we have this little guy right here this train

right here and this train Dollar Tree also has an amazing selection of

handmade cards and I picked up a few of them to share with you guys this one

right here I think is going to be nice for Papa Bear and this one I think is

super cute and fitting for is and we have some more stickers this is a new

fine for me this little pack right here so you get the rhinestones to get heart

stickers and then you get letters they had yellow purple blue green and red

just in case you guys can't see what these are they're just basically foam

pieces and you put them together this bag right here I have I think twelve of

these dollar tree gogo's mystery pack so this is what one of the packs look

like and this is from season 1 if you guys don't know about go those

it's from the 90s there's some cute

little figurines and you guys already know I was so excited and then I got

different seasons I grabbed every one and that they had so in this big bag

right here you get six oh wow so you get six at mystery figurine some plus a

little carrying bag do have a big yellow one from season two and in here you get

the same thing you get six goals and one carrying me tell you guys buying this at

Dollar Tree for one dollar is such a huge score I just randomly looked on the

internet to see how much of these were people are paying five dollars and up

for one pack and I've seen some ridiculous asking prices on eBay so if

you guys want to make a little bit of extra money one or two dollar profit if

you guys can get your hands on these you could potentially you know make a little

bit of extra side money looks like I have another big from season 2 I

have some small bags in here this one is from season 3 these are such a total

score and like seriously I just I cannot believe they had these in there

so in this small pack you get you get three go-go's and you get three stickers

so I'm excited about that looks like I have one too oh I have

another big pack right here from season three it looks like I have one two three

of the small packs from season two think you can collect a total of eighty in

each season I think so and then I have three of these from season 1 next up I

found some a new a glam up if you guys don't know about these they

are like a DIY dream okay look this is what they look like this is the

thing okay they have like some older ones that

I showed you guys last year but this one right here is a beautiful soft super

soft purple color then I had this like cheetah one and this super

cute I want on the back and in the store I showed you guys all of these this is

the new glam that Dollar Tree is carry now I'm so excited because they're

so like fun and playful the downside is that you only get two

pieces I believe in the older ones you got like three pieces so Dollar Tree is

catching on that these are good I have some more stickers here and I think I

picked this one up because of the little dog you just know super cute and I found

this for run you guys know I like to theme out her room a little bit this

is just a wall sticker set and right now we still have the little snowmen

upstairs from dollar tree I found this scented mini sticker book

you get six of them and I'm just gonna open one because I want to see if it

smells and what it smells like mmm all these are so cute you get 75

stickers in each little they have like a really subtle pleasant smell in

each pack oh that one smells like jello these are nice to put in like little

Valentine's Day gift baskets or like little gift bags to you these right here

I just got them because of the little jewels on them a super cute they're just

little felt hearts and are these head uses and then I fill these super cute

mittens oh my goodness I found some hearts Dollar Tree carried these last

year and they also have pink ones but I have them already but they just have

like a little new a new packaging new a new packaging new packaging so check

this out you guys I was wondering like when is Dollar Tree

going to get some earrings some necklaces some accessories in there

and then in Virginia I see it I'm like way too excited because I'm not

sure if I'll wear any of this stuff cute little things to have on hand to make

little gift baskets you guys have like lots of little cousins or like little

kids in your neighborhood or you're just around kids or whatever then stock up

use the dollar tree to your and keep a little small cute things on hand I

like that because that is a nice complete score which leads me to this

next bag okay you guys saw the Dollar Tree is squishies alright I did an

entire video and I will put that in here for you guys that video was a Dollar

Tree Christmas toy haul and then I opened everything up and that one was

for your kids or you if you love toys like I do I picked up all eight of dollar tree

squishies okay unopened brand-new and I am going to keep these on hand to give

away in the future or to donate to some kids or something but when I saw them

all in one place I knew I had to get that this bag is the continuation of the

squishies so I have the emoji one I have the white donut one the pink macaroon

one I have the purple macaroon one the pink

and blue cookie and all of them are listed on the bag just in case you guys

were wondering which ones you can potentially find and then the last one

is this pink emoji one oh and I bought two of those because I don't have a pink

emoji one so I picked up that one for myself

and that completes my dollar tree collection and like I said I have a whole another eight

that I'm gonna give away later on I also found oh my goodness you guys remember

when I was so excited about Dollar Tree having slime well my friends this or

these dollar trees collectively for slime okay so I have one two three four

five six and I'm gonna test these out for you guys and make like a really big

a Dollar Tree slime something and see what this dollar trees slime is all about

I feel like I need to come up with like some cute little Dollar Tree name for my

videos you guys want to help me in the comments like Remington's the real deal

thrill deals anyways so I was super excited also to find that Dollar Tree

has a collection of plush emojis they have I think it was eight yep it's eight

and I showed you guys all eight and the most recent come with me to

this orange one right here not that one this one right here and this little

again super cute to keep for yourself but also if you want to

maybe I can but if not this is so cute to give away to somebody and I only

picked up to but I shared all eight of them I think it was either 8 or 9 and

the latest come with me to Dollar Tree video I have some mini Mickey Mouse

little bubble stickers here you go I knew you were gonna come get them and

some more stickers Dollar Tree hair like a nice little selection of motivating

inspirational stickers like little encouraging messages and I of course had

to pick some up got this little guy for is for Valentine's Day so I found

this heart-shaped a little or 10 and it's plastic so we're not gonna cover

but I really like this and I have some ideas as to what I want to put on

the inside I have some more ribbons love this little gingham kind of plaid

pattern some more heart jewel stickers I think and then another ribbon I feel

like this would be a dollar at night Dollar Tree and Target for like three

dollars or something and then I some traditional hard candies not to eat

though I'll show you guys what I'm gonna use this candy for later oh my goodness

this is such a huge sport right here you guys if you have like an art background

or an art background or if you're just into drawing things then you know to

find us at Dollar Tree it was such an amazing score oh my goodness this is

easily like seven dollars and up okay for all of these pencils eraser and

the eraser seven dollars an hour I picked up three fixed in the

bag we have this Minnie Mouse a little Sun catcher paint set and some more eye

shadow oh my goodness so much makeup I picked up two of these cute little dollar tree

headbands for zari and myself or some like when we go walking you don't want

to put like a hat on you can just slide that on more stickers I showed you guys

the one but this is the pink one to hold like a picture or card or

something here's the other canvas paint set and then I found some string lights

this would probably be three dollars at Target but of course it's one gather and

dollar tree me to go that is battery-operated like most and these are

the inspirational stickers I was talking about earlier

so showed you the other tan one this is the three one and these all say

different things okay I just don't what a you guys show

you what each one says and they are the big ones so they they they sit up a

little bit now there's catchers thank you guys again

for telling me how to pronounce it and then the stickers and then I grabbed

some Disney Princess stickers sorry stop the camera my friend and found

some Minnie Mouse bubble stickers looks like I have another card I got

this one from my mom she loves cats or makeup stuff but I do want to share

this one with you guys this is glam and beauty and this stuff sells at Ross and

Marshalls for like 5 dollars and up for its free set of lip gloss so that was a

huge score and I think that's everything you guys I have stuff everywhere

I really felt rushed but my attention span is really short or it can be so I

Cryptocurrency prices nosedive following minister's shutdown remarks - Duration: 2:43.

Conflicting stances on ways to curb Korea's overheating virtual currency market.

The Justice Minister on Thursday raised the possibility of shutting down all cryptocurrency

exchanges in the country.

Sending investors into a panic,... the prices of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies went

into a tailspin... only stabilizing a touch when the presidential office of Cheong Wa

Dae confirmed that no final decision has been made.

Our Park Jong-hong tells us more.

The resounding message was that virtual currency trading was starting to look like gambling

and speculation.

In a New Year's press meeting on Thursday, Justice Minister Park Sang-ki said his ministry

is preparing legislation that would basically ban any transactions based on a virtual currency

through the trading floor.

This, in effect, means local cryptocurrency exchanges would be shut down.

(KOREAN) "We are even aiming to shut down the exchanges.

At this juncture, the trading of cryptocurrency resembles speculation and gambling."

His remarks are in line with the government's stern stance in tackling the irrational cryptocurrency

market in Korea often dubbed the Kimchi Premium, a reference to prices that are much higher

than the international norm.

Minister Park dismissed views that such tough measures amount to government market intervention,

pointing to the United States and Japan which have been limiting transactions in their own

ways.

He said it would be devastating if the bubble burst and warned of the social repercussions

that will result from tremendous financial losses.

The announcement caused the local price of Bitcoin to plunge by around 20 percent.

At around three PM on Thursday, Bitcoin traded at a little over 17 million won, or roughly

16 thousand dollars, later climbing back to the 20 million won level.

The minister's surprise announcement sparked an online petition objecting the proposed

plan.

More than 55-thousand Koreans rushed to join a petition demanding the presidential office

halt the crackdown, crashing the Cheongwadae website temporarily.

The presidential office then moved to ease jitters, saying no final decision has been

made.

Yoon Young-chan, chief press secretary to President Moon Jae-in, said in a statement,

that no decision has been reached... and it will only be finalized through discussions

and a coordination process with each government ministry.

2,500 people forced to stay at Jeju airport overnight due to snow closure - Duration: 0:47.

Flights have resumed to and from Jeju International Airport,... after around two-and-a-half thousand

people were forced to spend the night within the airport terminal compound due to heavy

snow.

Airport officials say they plan on flying all seven-thousand travelers out today,...

those who had been left grounded on Korea's southern resort island for the past two days.

The airport was temporarily closed due to heavy snow and ice late last night.

It was the third shutdown on Thursday alone, following a three-hour halt in the morning

and a one-hour suspension in the evening.

The Jeju government had upgraded the status level for travelers from 'warning' to 'serious'.

Nearly 180 flights were canceled and 201 were delayed throughout Thursday.

Incheon International Airport is now one step closer to its goal of being Asia's top air

hub with the opening of its new passenger terminal.

Incheon International Airport Corporation is holding a grand opening event for its second

passenger terminal on Friday... and opening it up to public for the first time on Saturday.

Terminal 2 is an independent terminal with a full set of facilities... including check-in,

customs, immigration and boarding gates.

It also includes an all-inclusive transportation center, with trains, buses and short-term

parking for airport users.

The first day of operations will come on January 18th with an early morning flight from Manila.

122 Korean consumers file class action suit against Apple for iPhone slowdown - Duration: 1:30.

Scores of consumers in Korea have filed a class action lawsuit against Apple over the

iPhone slowdown controversy.

While Apple faces numerous lawsuits around the world over this issue,... it marks the

first time a case has been brought in Korea.

Park Ji-won has more.

A total of 122 consumers have filed a collective lawsuit against Apple headquarters and Apple

Korea,... demanding compensation due to a recent software update that slowed down older

iPhone models.

A civic group called "Citizens United for Consumer Sovereignty" represents the plaintiffs.

(Korean) "The software update and resulting slowdown

caused our clients a lot of inconvenience.

Some lost their iPhone functions as well."

The plaintiffs are demanding around two-thousand U.S. dollars in damages each... for a total

of almost a quarter-of-a-million dollars.

Other lawsuits are expected to follow as some local lawfirms, including Hannuri and Hwimyung,...

are preparing cases against Apple.

Late last month,...

Apple apologized to consumers who felt let down,... but stressed that it never intended

to shorten the life of older iPhone models,... and the slowing down feature was to prevent

unexpected shutdowns.

Similar lawsuits against Apple are ongoing around the world, including in the U.S., Israel,

Canada, Australia and France.

EU urges U.S. not to withdraw from Iran nuclear deal - Duration: 2:06.

European powers are urging the United States to uphold the 2015 Iran nuclear deal signed

by President Trump's predecessor Barack Obama.

The call comes as Trump faces a Friday deadline to decide whether to waive major sanctions

on Iran,... lifted under the agreement.

The foreign ministers of Britain, France, Germany and the EU met with their Iranian

counterpart in Brussels on Thursday to reaffirm their commitment to the accord.

They said the deal was vital for international security and the British foreign secretary

Boris Johnson said a better deal would be hard to come by.

I don't think anybody has so far produced a better alternative to the JCPOA as a way

of preventing the Iranians from going ahead with the acquisition of the true nuclear capability...

The EU's foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini added that the international community must

also be united in preserving the deal, which she said helped make the world a safer place

and prevent a nuclear arms race in the region.

The JCPOA, signed by Obama three years ago, lifted sanctions on Iran in return for the

regime to put drastic curbs on its nuclear program.

President Trump has called it the "worst deal ever," accusing Tehran of breaching the terms

and threatening to reimpose those sanctions.

The plea by the European ministers came a day before President Trump has to decide whether

to sign a series of waivers to keep the suspension of sanctions intact.

The U.S. State Department said it expects a decision to be made later Thursday or by

the Friday deadline.

Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin has said he expects President Trump to impose sanctions

on Iran.

Good afternoon, it surely was one teeth chattering morning... hope you took my earlier advice

of covering as much as possible before heading out...

Many parts of the country saw the coldest temperatures of the season and it will remain

freezing all day.

Seoul will top out at minus 6 degree Celsius, while many southern regions will see highs

in the negative territory.

Nearly 7,000 people who were tied up at the Jeju international airport, due to rough weather

conditions, will finally go back home.

Some welcome news, the cold snap will ease starting tomorrow afternoon, then we'll see

temperatures on the mild side for a while.

So stay warm today

It's good news for those taking part in the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic torch which is set

to arrive in Seoul on Saturday and will be here through next Tuesday.

But be aware that some roads will be closed along the torch relay route.

With that, let's take a look at the international weather for viewers around the world.

While most regions in South Korea are bitterly cold, most cities in North Korea will see

even colder temperatures than the South.

As for the rest of Asia, those of you in Beijing also had an icy cold morning but afternoon

highs will be much higher than Seoul.

Meanwhile, Perth and Sydney will have a windy Friday but readings will be in the upper twenties.

Heading to North America, a mix of rain and snow on Thursday in Chicago area will bring

frigid air to the nation and it will continue to snow into Friday.

As for South America, Santiago and Buenos Aires will have a hot and sunny Friday again.

Taking you to Europe,..those of you in Moscow will have to wait until next Tuesday to see

some sun.

Lastly to Africa, Tripoli and Cape Town will have a windy last day of the work week.

Foreign ministers from 16 nations, including South Korea and Japan, are set to attend the

two-day gathering.

The U.S. State department revealed that foreign ministers from 16 countries will be participating

in the Vancouver Foreign Ministers' Meeting on Security and Stability on the Korean Peninsula.

U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Canadian Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland

will host the two day meeting, which will kick off on Monday.

On Thursday, U.S. State Department spokesperson Heather Nauert said that the meeting will

bring together nations from across the world to demonstrate international solidarity against

North Korea's dangerous and illegal nuclear and missile programs.

The 16 participating nations are countries that fought alongside or aided South Korea

during the Korean War in the 1950s.

The State Department's director of policy planning Brian Hook says Washington will look

for practical mechanisms to pressure Pyongyang, such as maritime interdiction.

Hook also reiterated the State department's latest announcement that no plans have been

made for talks between North Korea and the U.S. during the Olympic period, stressing

that there will be "no direct talks" between the two nations.

However, it's thought that South Korea's Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha, who will be in Vancouver

for the meeting, will hold bilateral talks with Tillerson ahead of the meeting on Monday.

North Korea's state-run Korean Central News Agency also reported on the meeting, calling

it a dangerous gamble that aggravates tensions on the Korean peninsula.

Japanese PM rejects South Korea's latest stance on wartime sex slavery deal - Duration: 0:52.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has strongly rejected South Korea's stance on the two countries'

2015 wartime sex slavery deal.

According to Tokyo's Kyodo News Agency on Friday, Abe told reporters that the deal is

a government-to-government agreement and Seoul's latest stance on the accord can never be accepted.

He said South Korea must faithfully carry out the agreement.

Abe's remarks follow Seoul's declaration earlier this week that the controversial deal was

seriously flawed and did not resolve the issue of Japan's sexual enslavement of Korean women

before and during World War II.

This is the first time Abe has directly addressed the issue since the Moon Jae-in administration

announced its new position on the agreement, which was reached during the previous Park

Geun-hye administration.

Now to the continuing investigation into a scandal-ridden company-- that many believe

former President Lee Myung-bak used to manage his secret funds.

Prosecutors raided the headquarters of auto parts maker DAS on Thursday and confiscated

evidence,... the first prosecution search since a special unit was established on the

case two weeks ago.

Investigators suspect the company,... ostensibly owned by the former president's older brother,...

kept some eleven million U.S. dollars in slush funds under dozens of fake names, evaded taxes

and embezzled money.

Attention is now being drawn to whether the materials secured through the raid will uncover

some leads-- as to whether former President Lee is the actual owner of the company.

Presidents Moon and Xi reaffirm joint efforts to establish peace on Peninsula - Duration: 2:13.

The leaders of South Korea and China have positively assessed the recent uptick in inter-Korean

relations.

Speaking over the phone on Thursday,...

Chinese President Xi Jinping welcomed the progress and backed efforts by the two Koreas

to improve their ties.

Our Blue House correspondent Hwang Hojun has the details.

President Moon Jae-in and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping have highly evaluated the thawing

relations between the two Koreas as well as between Seoul and Beijing.

According to a written statement released by the top office following their telephone

talks on Thursday, President Moon explained in detail to President Xi... the results of

the recent high-level inter-Korean talks, and expressed his gratitude for Beijing's

support.

President Xi welcomed the improvement in Seoul-Pyongyang relations... and said he actively supports

President Moon and the efforts of his administration.

President Xi also stressed any improvement in the relationship between Seoul and Pyongyang

must coincide with the process of denuclearization.

The two leaders also agreed to continue their joint efforts in resolving the North Korean

nuclear issue peacefully and pledged to reinforce strategic communication and cooperation so

that the recent push for dialogue will go beyond North Korea's participation in the

Winter Olympics, and ultimately result in the establishment of peace on the Peninsula.

Regarding Seoul's relationship with Beijing, the two leaders said both Korean and Chinese

people have been able to feel the boosted bilateral exchanges and collaboration between

the two countries, since President Moon's state visit to China, calling it a huge success.

President Moon invited President Xi to the closing ceremony of the PyeongChang Games

as Beijing is set to host the next Winter Olympic Games in 2022.

While the Chinese President didn't give any definitive answer, he pledged to closely work

together with Korea to ensure a successful transition.

Thursday's phone call was the second phone conversation between the two leaders since

President Moon took office in May, and the first since the South Korean leader made a

state visit to China last month.

Trump expresses openness to talk to North Korea: WSJ - Duration: 1:39.

After months of verbal sparring between U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean leader

Kim Jong-un... that sharply escalated tensions between Washington and Pyongyang,... Trump's

latest comments about his feelings on Kim have caught people off guard as they seem

to signal a big shift in attitude.

Lee Jeong-yeon reports.

Washington seems to have turned to a more open stance with Pyongyang according to the

most recent comment from U.S. President Donald Trump.

Trump said on Thursday, during an interview with the Wall Street Journal, that he believes

he has developed a positive relationship with North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un.

He said he probably has "very good relations" with Kim, stressing that he does indeed have

"relationships with people."

This is an apparent reversal in tone from his stance so far since taking office a year

ago.

Just last summer, he threatened "fire and fury" if Pyongyang were to pose any sort of

threat to the U.S..

He's also called Kim by several names, such as "little rocket man," and "maniac."

In the interview with the Journal, he said the combative tweets are part of a broader

strategy, and that he is a "very flexible person."

Washington's relatively open attitude toward the regime also comes amid thawing relations

between South and North Korea, after Inter-Korean high-level talks took place on Tuesday, just

ahead of the upcoming 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics.

Seoul and Washington have also agreed to postpone joint military drills until after the games,

which Trump said "sends a good message to North Korea."

When asked whether he has spoken directly with Kim, Trump declined to comment.

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange granted Ecuadorian citizenship - Duration: 0:50.

Ecuador has granted citizenship to WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange after more than five

years of living in asylum at the nation's embassy in London.

The country's foreign minister, Maria Fernanda Espinosa, said Thursday that Assange was naturalized

in the middle of last month at his request.

Ecuador gave him political asylum at the embassy in 2012 to avoid extradition to Sweden to

face a rape allegation, which he denies.

Swedish prosecutors dropped the investigation last May, but Assange still faces arrest by

British police on a charge of skipping bail if he leaves.

He also fears a possible extradition to the U.S. stemming from a leak of thousands of

U.S. military documents in 2010, but Washington is yet to seek his arrest.

Rival parties clash over timing to craft bill on constitutional revision - Duration: 2:41.

President Moon Jae-in's New Year press conference this week put more pressure on the National

Assembly to craft a proposal for revising the Constitution.

However, it won't be easy,... with rival parties sharply at odds on a variety of levels...

from the timing to the specifics.

Kim Min-ji reports.

The ruling Democratic Party of Korea has called for all-out efforts from rival parties to

reach an agreement on amending the Constitution -- to have a bill ready by February -- and

hold a referendum in tandem with local elections in June.

"I am calling on all parties to overcome their minor differences, come to a conclusion,...

and fulfil the duties entrusted to us by the people,... and... to avoid the government

having to decide the issue on its own."

Rival parties have been engaged in talks to amend the basic law -- since many see it as

outdated and not reflecting social and economic changes since its last revision 30 years ago.

Key sticking points up for deliberation include strengthening fundamental rights and regional

autonomy,... changing the government structure,... and limiting the powers of the commander-in-chief.

Pressure to speed up talks was renewed after President Moon Jae-in's new year's press conference

-- in which he called on rival parties to reach a compromise on the revision by February,...

and table a bill by March.

President Moon warned that should parliament fail to reach a deal, the government will

prepare for the revision itself.

Moon also said that he personally prefers a two-term, four-year presidency,... instead

of the current five-year single term.

The main opposition Liberty Korea Party was highly critical of the President's remarks

-- saying that it was clear he was seeking to inject his own ideas -- adding that amending

the constitution is not something that can happen overnight.

"The president said that he does not wish to push his own thoughts on this process.

But he said that he personally prefers a four-year presidency."

The center-left People's Party said that one of the key reasons to amend the Constitution

is to limit the powers of the president so as to prevent corruption -- but looking at

the President's stance, they said,... it might be better not to amend it at all if they're

not going to make the right changes.

"The reason that 80 percent of the people are in favor of revising the Constitution

isn't to influence fundamental rights or regional autonomy.

There is no point in amending it... if we're not going to put an end to this concentration

of power in the presidency."

In the current setting -- where the ruling bloc is short of a majority in the National

Assembly,... support from the opposition parties is a must.

To take effect, the proposal first needs approval from two-thirds of sitting lawmakers,... and

requires majority support in the referendum.
