While Everyone is Freaking Out Over Trump DACA Promise, He Just - Duration: 3:37.
While
Everyone is Freaking Out Over Trump DACA Promise, He Just Did the Most Trump Thing Ever
Its become fashionable among journalists and various politicos to discuss whether Democrats
should attempt to remove President Donald Trump from office via the Twenty-Fifth Amendment,
supposedly because he has become too mentally incapacitated to fulfill his duties.
After his televised meeting with top House and Senate leaders from both parties, the
liberal fantasy that they can simply nullify the results from the last presidential election
bolstered by the discredited accounts from Michael Wolffs book Fire and Fury
that made the president appear psychologically unstable should no longer be entertained
by the media any more than it already was.
No individual who is mentally unstable or dangerously unfit could have possibly ran
an hour-long negotiation and discussion over complex policy solutions as the president
did Tuesday.
Throughout the meeting, Trump not only seemed engaged and alert, but also served as a leader
managing both parties desires.
Even an article in USA Today, whose editors wrote an editorial late last year titled Will
Trumps Lows Ever Hit Rock Bottom? called the meeting extraordinary.
Sen. Lindsey Graham called the negotiations the most fascinating meeting Ive been
involved with in 20-plus years in politics.
The presidents performance Tuesday afternoon raised further questions about how a Yale
psychiatrist deemed it appropriate to deliver a warning to a group of Democratic lawmakers
that they should consider removing Trump from office.
Nor does the presidents clear sanity and mental fitness regardless of whether or
not one agrees with him on policy issues jive with Wolffs assertion that the Twenty-Fifth
Amendment is a subject of regular conversation within the White House.
In an interview on Meet The Press, Wolff told Chuck Todd that the Twenty-Fifth Amendment
which allows the vice president to take power in cases where the president dies or
becomes incapacitated is alive every day in the West Wing.
On top of being grossly inappropriate, any effort by Democrats or anti-Trump Republicans
to invoke the Twenty-Fifth Amendment going forward will have to reconcile with the fact
that millions of Americans have now seen Trump publicly performing the duties of the office
more than competently.
Of course, there are those who wont ever be happy.
A Vox article ran last weekend arguing that Trump needed a psychological evaluation by
force if necessary.
Trump defended his mental state in a series of tweets earlier this week.
The idea of essentially kidnapping a president because some tweets made a liberal writer
uncomfortable was comically ridiculous before, but after todays public meeting, it just
seems like a pathetic attempt to kick a Republican out of office.

5 People From So-Called 'Sh*thole' Countries Who Contribute More Than Trump - Duration: 5:33.
What's up, guys?
Natasha Martinez here for Complex News.
By now, you're well aware that racist gasbag Donald Trump fired the shit heard 'round
the world in a meeting on immigration on Thursday.
The Washington Post broke the story that Trump said, "Why do we need more Haitians?"
and, when talking about immigrants from there, El Salvador, and African countries, responded,
"Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?"
Despite Trump's non-denial denials, his comments were confirmed publicly by Senator
Dick Durbin of Illinois, who proved to the world that Shithole-Gate is a real thing.
So we wanted to take a minute to highlight people born in these so-called shithole countries
who have contributed a hell of a lot more to the U.S. and to the world than any mobbed-up,
bankrupt, perpetually lying, woman-abusing, Nazi-loving racist.
And a note before we get started: Trump insulting these countries has everything to do with
his fear and hatred of people who don't look like him, and nothing to do with the
countries themselves.
Botswana was one of the few nations to give an official response to Trump, mockingly asking
for clarification on whether they are one of the "shithole" countries the KKK's
favorite president was referring to.
Shouts to Botswana for whoever is writing their press releases these days, and also
shouts for bringing us Professor Sheila Tlou [note: pron. as one syllable, like "t'low"].
Tlou grew up in Botswana, but came to the U.S. for college.
She studied nursing, and continued on to get a doctorate in nursing sciences and several
post-graduate degrees.
Beginning in 1985, she got heavily involved in HIV prevention.
She has been a leading voice in the field for decades now.
Professor Tlou was the founder and president of the Society for Women and AIDS in Africa,
Botswana chapter, which educates volunteers on home care and informs people about HIV
and AIDS.
She was a Professor of Nursing and Director of the World Health Organization's Collaborating
Centre for Nursing and Midwifery Development in Primary Health Care for Anglophone Africa
at the University of Botswana.
She's a former Member of Parliament and was Minister of Health of Botswana from 2004
to 2009.
She is currently Director of Regional Support Team for Eastern and Southern Africa for UN
AIDS.
Oh, and did I mention she's also one hell of an actress?
She starred in the BBC Movie The Number One Ladies Detective Agency.
Kenyan political cartoonist Victor Ndula drew a sad but on-point cartoon about Trump's
remarks for his country's Star newspaper.
But there's no cartoon that could tell us how sad we would feel if Trump's remarks
meant Americans wouldn't see any more of Lupita Nyong'o.
Nyong'o was born in Mexico but moved to her parents' native Kenya when she was just
a baby.
In addition to starring in movies, plays, and even fighting bad guys all across the
galaxy, Nyong'o has promoted women's issues and the arts in Kenya, fought against poaching,
and is even trying to save the elephants.
Plus, she helped take down Harvey Weinstein.
Jessie Duarte, the deputy secretary general of South Africa's African National Congress,
clapped back at Trump by saying, "Ours is not a shithole country.
Neither is Haiti or any other country in distress."
We're grateful for that statement, and we're grateful to the ANC's opposition, the Democratic
Alliance, without whom we wouldn't have Lindiwe Mazibuko [note: pron. here at 0:17
mark].
Mazibuko, born in Swaziland but raised in South Africa, is only 37, but has already
gathered a lifetime of experience in politics—a lot more than some people twice her age.
After school, she began as a researcher for the DA.
She quickly moved up to national media liaison, then member of Parliament, then the DA's
national spokesperson and a key player in their Shadow Cabinet.
In 2011, she was elected DA Parliamentary Leader and became South Africa's official
leader of the opposition.
In 2014, Mazibuko decided to take a break from politics.
Shortly thereafter, she blessed our shores with a fellowship at the Institute of Politics
at Harvard's Kennedy School, and got a Masters there as well.
And even though she's not in electoral politics right now, she's still not afraid to speak
out, even publicly accusing her old party of having a "brain trust" of almost all
white men.
If South Africa's game, we're more than willing to trade one of our politicians—or,
hell, most of them—for her.
Donald Trump wants to kick 200,000 Salvadorans out of the country who came following a devastating
2001 earthquake.
We want to kick him out, especially if it means we can keep Julio Torres.
Torres, who is Salvadoran, is a relatively new addition to the Saturday Night Live writing
staff.
He has become a breakout star with his absurd sense of humor.
You've probably seen his imagining of the life of the Donald's wife or the Avatar-spoofing
"Papyrus" skit.
It's safe to say that we'd much rather have another "Wells for Boys" than whatever
the hell Trump has planned for the next three years.
The comedian responded, in his own inimitable way, to Trump's comments via Twitter.
[QUOTE CARD: Julio Torres via Twitter - "Sry i snuck in here from a shit hole country only
to become part of the como se dice, liberal media elite.
Also sry to like be a Salvadoran criminal or whatever (my lawyer says I'm so cute
it's actually a CRIME!!)"]
There are no shortage of Haitian-Americans who have made a huge impact on the rap game.
From UTFO's Kangol Kid to DJ Whoo Kid to Rich the Kid, every generation of hip-hop
has had people of Haitian descent play a crucial role.
But two people in particular, both born in Haiti, stand out.
Hurby "Luv Bug" Azor discovered Salt N' Pepa and Kid N' Play, and wrote and produced
more Golden Age classic songs than we have time to list in this video.
And, of course, there's Wyclef Jean.
Clef moved to the U.S. when he was nine, but during his massive success both with the Fugees
and on his own, the multi-talented rapper and musician consistently repped for his home
country.
He even tried to run for the presidency, though that didn't quite work out.
But what's brought more joy to people—"Fu-gee-la" and "Gone 'Til November," or Trump's
greatest hits like "They're rapists" and "Grab 'em by the pussy"?
No contest.
If you have more ideas of people from countries our President hates who have more impressive
accomplishments than him—I know, it's a very long list—leave them in the comments.
For Complex News, I'm Natasha Martinez.

Weekend Reflection - Second Sunday in Ordinary Time - Duration: 2:14.
(light instrumental music)
- Hello, everyone, and welcome to our Weekend Reflection
brought to you by Spirit Juice Studios.
This week, we are in ordinary time, but it's extraordinary.
It's the time of growth and fruitfulness.
That's why we wear green, and it's the time for action.
We see that Jesus is in action
through all the gospels during ordinary time.
In our first reading, we hear the account of Samuel
who is being called by God, but he thinks it's his father.
He goes to his dad, Eli, and says, "What do you want?"
Eli says, "I didn't call you.
"Go back to sleep."
Three times that happens.
It sounds like something out of a movie.
Eventually, Eli, his father, understands that it is God
that is calling him by name, mind you.
God's call to discipleship is very personal.
It's not just like, hey, everybody.
Come and follow me.
Remember that Jesus said that the father knows
how many hairs are on our head, right?
It's a very personal thing.
In fact, it's something that we don't
even know about ourselves.
There is something special, by design,
that God wants you to do that nobody else can do
with your own personal circumstances.
And the own personal mission field that you belong to,
God is calling you to do something fresh
and new in this year of 2018.
And our gospel today, it's from the first chapter
of the gospel of John, and John the Baptist says,
"Behold the Lamb of God."
Hopefully, that sounds familiar.
Indeed, by design, the last words that the priest says
before everyone receives communion are those words
echoed by John the Baptist, "Behold the Lamb of God."
It's appropriate that those are the last words
that we hear as we get ready to receive the Eucharist,
and our response should be a docile one just like Samuel.
Here I am, Lord.
What do you want from me?
Listen for his voice.
Every time we receive the Eucharist,
it's the most intimate time with the Lord.
It is the closest we can come to God on this side
of the veil on this side of heaven.
So just like Samuel, let us respond to the call
as we hear the words of John the Baptist
every time we come to Mass.

setting up your first vpn easy 123 : virtual private network setup - Duration: 5:13.
welcome guys in this video I'm gonna be showing you how to set up your first
VPN and I'm gonna be showing you how to set this up easily so what is a VPN a
VPN stands for virtual private network and what this is guys this is basically
a tunnel between you and your internet service provider when you're connecting
to the Internet so usually you connect through your
internet service provider with a VPN you connect through the VPN provider to the
Internet so basically your internet service provider they don't know your
browsing activity guys so they cannot give your browsing data to someone say
Donald Trump Donald Trump cannot get your browsing data because all of your
because all of your browsing data is going through your your VPN provider guys and this is um
and this is amazing guys as I said before your internet service provider
won't be able to get your data if you connect through the VPN also guys let's
say that you're in a country right and you're trying to access a service like
maybe Pandora or Netflix and you can't access it because because of country
restriction a VPN can allow you to select a country which basically put you
in that country so you can access say Netflix so say you're in India and you
can't access Netflix and in the right you can log on on your VPN and set your
country as USA and the restrictions will be gone because physically it's going to
seem like you are in USA while you're in India guys so that's that's an amazing
benefit there to have a VPN so they can't user information also guys if
you're connecting to like public Wi-Fi this is great to evade hackers this is a
very good method your IP address won't be knowing that's an next good thing so
they no one will know your IP address basically you will be using the IP
address of the VPN provider that you will be using a drawback of this guys
is your internet may slow down because we are using the VPN tunnel basically
you will be doing a lot of encrypting and decrypting of data that
may be going through the panel different providers may have some different
settings so it's can vary vary a bit all right guys too much talking now let
me just show you how to do this what we're going to be using today we're
going to be using the opera so we're going to be using opera which comes
with a built in VPN so go over to www.opera.com and then when you get the
Installer all you need to do is just click on it and it's going to begin to
run it should start up in just a second and go ahead and click accept and
install and it's going to download the Opera files for you this is going to
take a short short moment of time alright guys and with opera finished
downloads its gonna come up and it's going to look something very similar to
this all right in order to get the access to the VPN you wanna click on the
menu bar here let's go down to settings when setting comes up you want to go to
the section that says privacy and security and then you're going to click
this lovely little button here that says enable VPN and if you look at the top
right here you can see now I have a VPN access so let me just go to let's say I
want to go - lets go - let's go to Amazon it doesn't really matter
whichever side I want to go to what I as you can see you know I have a little
button that says VPN so if I click on the little button currently it's set to
Canada because I was using this before but it may be set to OFF for you so just
go ahead and click it and it will it will turn on for you and then as you can
see no guys I can change my location to Canada United States Germany Netherlands
or even the Singapore so basically that signal guys if you weren't able to
access aside from your location you can just change your country and you should
be able to access that site from your location and also now your IP address
is hidden and all of your data is hidden while you are browsing through the VPN
so basically that's it guys I hope you found this video useful and please use a
VPN as well on the internet don't just give out all of your information like
that if you don't have to VPNs are great and they're a great tool and you should
use them so whenever this video was a bit lengthy thank you so much for
watching this video guys if you found it helpful please share like comment
subscribe and really means a lot to me until next time thank you!

【#021】日本のネイルについて!~Delicate nail arts in Japan!~with English subtitle - Duration: 4:00.
Hi guys! It's Misaki!
I'm going to introduce Japanese nail art today.
There are many nail salons and manicurists in the world. However, I think Japanese ones are quite different from the world so I want to share it with you.
The first point is "delicateness".
Some of my friends went to foreign countries (I forgot which countries) and tried to go to the nail salon there.
But they felt painful when the manicurists rubbed with the sandpaper. I've never had experiences like this here in Japan.
So I think the Japanese nail salon service is more delicate than other countries.
Actually, I've never tried the nail salon in other countries so I want to try it someday and see if my friends' experiences are real or not!
Of course, there may be some countries or nail salons which are more meticulous than the Japanese ones.
So let me know about the nail salon service in your countries in the comment section below.
The second point is "skillfulness".
Usually, the common designs are plain color, gradation or something simple with glossy or glitter finish.
But as you can see I have two characters nail art, "Slime and Hoimi Slime" from Dragon Quest. My manicurist drew them on my nails with a brush.
Actually this one was not that expensive, about 5,500yen. You can choose the seasonal designs or the designs that you like from the salon's lists like snowman, Santa Claus, reindeer or crystal of snow.
The nail salon that I usually go in Tokyo is "Fast Nail". Considering its high quality service, it is really good value for money.
I sometimes ask and consult with my manicurists there and one design is only around 1,000 yen (of course, it depends on the design).
Guys don't do nails that much so you can tell that to your wife, girlfriend or female friends. I think they will be very happy to know about Japanese nail salon!
When you come to Japan for travelling, try nail arts like Japanese anime or comic characters such as NARUTO or Luffy from ONE PIECE even just on one of your nails!
Especially if you can get your nails done on the first day, it'll definitely make it more fun for the rest of your trip!
I will shoot another video about the way of booking Japanese nail salon. Today I've talked about the special things of Japanese nail arts.
I like doing nails so if you have any interesting information about nail arts and services in your countries, please let me know in the comment section below!
I'm looking forward to reading your comments!
Try Japanese nail arts when you study abroad or travel in Japan!
Don't forget to give me a Like if you enjoy this video!
Okay! That's me for today!
Thank you so much for watching! See ya!

LGBTQIA+ BookTube Tag - Duration: 4:34.
Book-related, but not necessarily about books?
Hello, I'm Rogan and welcome to the LGBTQIA+ BookTube Tag.
I was tagged in this by Kathy Trithardt. I will link her video down below.
She tagged me while doing her Bookmas videos. I told her I'd hold it and do it in the new year, and here you go.
I also wanted to add that from now on, depending on the situation, I will generally try to limit myself to
one book video a week. Because I have plenty of other topics I want to make videos about,
and I don't want books to take over this channel because there's plenty I want to do.
This may be short, because it's just six questions, so let's get into it.
1. How do you identify?
Queer, bi, pan. I'm fine with any of those. I also suspect I'm demiromantic.
As for gender, I'm somewhat questioning at the moment.
2. What are some of your favorite LGBTQIA+ books and authors?
For books, a recent favorite is Ramona Blue.
I haven't read that many queer books. Partly because I don't seek out queer books.
I do want to read much more this year.
For authors, I don't really know. I don't necessarily pay attention to the identity of the author.
Yes, sometimes I will see, "Oh, a trans person wrote this book specifically about the trans experience."
Or an intersex person wrote about their intersex experience. Yeah, of course, that I will know.
But if it's like a fiction story, like Ramona Blue, I won't necessarily pay attention to,
"Oh, does the author have that experience?" I just read the book. If it's good, it's good. If it's not, it's not.
3. How often do you discuss LGBTQIA+ books on your channel?
And what videos of yours would you recommend people start with, if they're looking for LGBTQIA+ content?
If the book I'm reading has queer content, or was written by someone who's queer, I will mention it, yes.
But like I said earlier, it's not something that I make a point of doing.
By videos of mine, is the question about books, or just in general?
For book-related, I'd say start with one of my wrap-ups that had a lot of queer books in it.
I will link it in the card and below.
For queer videos, I'd say start with "Why I Prefer Queer" or "Queer Signs." I will link both below.
4. Who are your favorite LGBTQIA+ booktubers?
I don't watch much BookTube at the moment, because many aren't captioned.
And I haven't taken the time to explore those that have captions yet.
But one that I do watch regularly is the person who tagged me for this, Kathy.
I get a lot of book recommendations from her, so... Go check her out.
Also, the Princess and the Scrivener.
They're not BookTubers, but they will occasionally talk about books.
5. When was the first time you encountered a LGBTQIA+ character in fiction?
I have no idea. I read a lot growing up. I still read a lot, so...
I probably read something when I was younger, but didn't realize there was something significant about that
because of the way I was raised.
6. Anything else you want to add? And who do you tag?
Right now, I don't know of any books that have GOOD representation of disabled queer people,
especially deaf queers. So, if you know of any, please let me know!
Also, BookTubers, please caption your videos.
I would love to watch more book videos, but I'm a little limited at the moment.
For the tag, all the queer BookTubers I know have already been tagged.
So, if you haven't done this, and haven't been tagged, consider it done.
That's it for the LGBTQIA+ BookTube Tag.
If you want to answer any of these questions in the comments below, go ahead!
Recommend any LGBTQIA+ books, LGBTQIA+ authors, and I will try my best to read more this year!
If you want to support my content financially, I have Patreon and ko-fi. Subscribe to this channel.
Follow me on all my socials - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. Thanks for watching, see you next time.
