Waching daily Jan 13 2018

I often feel like I can't express my feelings.

Even when just walking by they will say they like it and are supportive.

Foreigners meet, talk and become friends much quicker than we do.

Today we are at Bunka Fashion college which is one of the most famous fashion

colleges in Japan. Today we are gonna ask the stylish people here

When they communicate with other people from foreign countries...

if they think there is a gap in communication.

Or something that is totally different so let's go and Ask Japanese.

When you communicate with foreigners is there some discrepancy, a gap,

when you try to converse?

Of course we speak different languages.

I can only speak in simple words or use a dictionary app to communicate.

So I feel like I can communicate quite well.

People always understand what you say?

Words? No they don't understand me.

But I don't really have a problem.

So you think you can talk quite well?

Yeah somehow.

I was never surprised when chatting with foreigners.

Do you sometimes struggle when communicating with foreigners?

Like not getting your meaning across?

I do yes. When people speak really fast...

The talking speed might be normal for that person but...

I will not be able to follow their speed.

But I often understand things in context or from their expressions.

Gap? Well when speaking with foreigners, many are so kind and exaggerate their reaction.

That makes it easier to understand but when Japanese talk with foreigners ...

we don't show much emotion...

So it might be harder for foreigners to understand us.

Because foreigners exaggerate their emotions I understand them well.

But it made me realize that if I exaggerate my actions, people will understand me better.

I actually can't speak any English.

But foreigners often take active approaches in starting a communication.

That makes it easier for me to join the communication.

And I feel more inclined to tell them the way or explain things.

Even when I speak English, people don't understand me because of my accent.

I am using the right language, but my accent makes people go "What?"

The nuances words have a slightly different.

Even when I get asked about it, it's hard to express my feelings.

Do you want to be able to speak more with foreigners?

If I was able to speak better English, we would be able to understand each other.

When walking around in clothes like these, Japanese people stand out.

Japanese people will draw back a little.

Foreigners will be like "I like your style".

Walking by they will say "I like your style" and be supportive.

That's so different from Japan.

They really tolerate my style. It's great.

They respect people's originality but...

In Japan, when you are different from others, they draw back.

Yeah...

People from abroad say things straightforward.

Oh yes.

Good things and bad things, they say it straight-out without a grudge.

They just tell you.

But Japanese, try not to be too direct.

They will be very ambiguous when they try to express criticism.

But I prefer when people tell me what's up straight out.

I would be happy about that, but if you are too direct some will be surprised.

The way the woe ladies is different too. - They are really into "Ladies first"

I like how they treat women with respect.

Japanese men just brush the topic. Foreigners, really value the "ladies first" thing.

Many foreigners who come to Japan seem to mind their manners more than Japanese.

When you greet them on the street, they greet back very politely.

They won't litter either.

Looking at it like that, I think they are more friendly than Japanese.

I really respect that about foreigners.

Foreigners are not as timid when talking as Japanese.

They will speak with people they just met as if they are friends.

There seem to be more people like that around.

There is no honorific language abroad like Japanese "Keigo".

That depends on the country but there is none in English.

I think that creates a lost in translation moment.

Others might have said it but, foreigners are very frank.

Japanese people are very conscientious.

Japanese bow and are very humble.

I personally want to be more frank too.

But culturally we don't do that as much.

That's definitely a different thing compared to abroad.

Yeah I know what you mean.

I am quite excitable, but foreigners are even more excitable.

And they will find funny situations to make a joke about.

For example during a very serious lecture, they will push in a joke.

Putting a joke in there makes things more fun.

You would not do that in Japan. - People would be too shy to.

Foreigners say things that... Japanese would... never say.

When we feel sorry for someone, we don't say things to protect their feelings...

But foreigners will still say it anyways. I will be like "Why would you say that?!"

At that moment they shouldn't have said that in order not to hurt feelings. - Yeah.

Japanese people are shy.

We don't become friends with someone we just met.

But foreigners will speak with others and become friends there and then.

At this fashion college, we have a large amount of exchange students.

The exchange students become quicker friends than the Japanese students.

Thanks so much for today.

So gap in communication.

One thing that's big is, foreigners are direct, they say what they want

they say where they wanna go. While Japanese people are reluctant to actually say

what they really want to do. They imply certain things...,

or they hold their opinion back. So it's really important that you are able to

read the air and get carefully at that.

That is a mistake that many foreigners do when they come to Japan for the first time.

One example I'd like to give you...

I new a Japanese guy and a German girl.

That was a couple of years ago. The thing is, she liked him...

He liked her. But they missed each other due to communication.

For example...

What I could see from a Western aspect... she really liked him but tried to be tough.

She sometimes did tough jokes

Maybe sometimes sexual jokes because she was trying to hide

her embarrassment that way. She tried to act cool and tough.

Which is a thing that girls in the Western society often do.

While he saw that in a different way in Japan.

Girls are supposed to be cute, they are not supposed to act tough.

He saw it more as a "why did she say that? A women shouldn't be saying that"

He had very strict Japanese standards...

that he tried to apply to her.

And that's how they missed each other.

He he had hold off a little bit his high standarts

that he expected, he expected a women to be more quiet

and calmed down and stuff like that.

If he had opened himself up a bit more to different opportunties

he would have been more open for her. Same thing for her...

She just... did a couple of jokes you shouldn't do cultural wise.

It didn't work and it was really a shame for me to see how they just both

MISSED each other.

That was a real lost in translation communication moment

that I experienced with my two friends there.

Always be careful when you encounter people of a different culture.

Communication is very important.

The more you do even about the things you communicate about, the better.

Try to sort it out. I wish you lots of happiness.

That was our communication topic. Have you ever had problems communicating

something with someone, and that's not even based on language but also on

culture? Let us know, I am looking forward to reading your comment.

WikiLeaks Releases Proof of NY Times Colluding With Clinton's St - Duration: 5:09.

WikiLeaks Releases Proof of NY Times Colluding With Clintons State Dept to Deceive America

Washington, D.C. WikiLeaks has released evidence which shows that New York Times reporter

Scott Shane handed over Cablegates secret country by country publication schedule to

the U.S. government, giving the State Department (then headed by Hillary Clinton) up to a week

in advance to spin the revelations or to create diversions.

The collusion between The New York Timessupposedly the United States newspaper of reputeand

the U.S. State Department, reveals a co-opting of corporate media that keeps the public ignorant

to government malfeasance and impropriety.

The Times was one of five newspapers that obtained an advance copy of all leaked cables,

which began being released on November 28, 2010.

WikiLeaks made the specific cables, selected by the newspapers and redacted by their journalists,

available on its website.

The New York Times initially covered the story in a nine-part series spanning nine days,

with the first story published simultaneously with the other outlets.

The New York Times was not originally intended to receive the leak, allegedly due to its

negative portrayal of Julian Assange, but The Guardian decided to share coverage, citing

earlier cooperation while covering the Afghan and Iraqi war logs.

The Guardian, a British publication, was revealed to have been the source of the copy of WikiLeaks

documents given to The New York Times in order to prevent the British government from obtaining

any injunction against the publication to stop the release.

Ironically, instead of having any semblance of journalistic integrity, Times reporter

Scott Shane emailed Philip J. P.J. Crowley, who at the time was the United States Assistant

Secretary of State for Public Affairsoperating under then-Secretary of State Hillary Clintonto

give the U.S. government a timetable of the WikiLeaks cable releases.

This would subsequently allow for the State Department to prepare in advance for the publication

of such incendiary documentsand formulate exactly how to spin the revelations ahead

of time.

For an outlet that claims to be a beacon of freedom that holds power accountable, the

methods employed by Shane seem to intimate exactly the oppositethe Times will work

diligently to protect the ruling political-elite oligarchy, and help keep the public confused.

In the past, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has called the mainstream media very, very,

very inaccurate corporate presstitutes, and opportunistic snipers, accusing

newspapers of printing weaponized text.

WikiLeaks is very happy that there is a narrative about fake news out there because

we have a perfect record of having never got it wrong in terms of authentications.

While the corporate press continues misrepresenting information, quoting unnamed and thus unverifiable

sources, and even printing flagrant fabrications, Wikileaks has never published anything that

is not true and maintains an unparalleled streak of publishing authentic information

in the whole of the organizations existence.

When the narrative of fake news came out and was then taken off effectively by the

neo-liberal press and pushed around, Assange elaborated.

I could see exactly where that was going.

I was rather happy about it.

What is special about WikiLeaks is that its not just another damn story, Assange

said.

Its not just another damn journalist putting their damn byline, advertising themselves

and their position on another damn story.

Assange explained how Wikileaks searchable database contrasts with reading a newspaper

like The New York Times,

Youre not reading pre-weaponized knowledge.

When you read a newspaper article, you are reading weaponized text that is designed to

affect a person just like you. So when The New York Times tells you a fantastic

story, just remember that this is the same outlet that is sending release dates of upcoming

stories that could potentially be damaging to global U.S. government interests, to the

State Department.

Does that sound like journalistic integrity from a newspaper of reputeor something

that operates in a manner more akin to a propaganda wing of government apparatus?

How to make a LEGO BRICKFILM from start to finish - Incl. TOP SECRET Hints and TIPS by CheepJokes - Duration: 7:28.

Hey guys, I'm Andrew from cheap jokes today

I'm going to be teaching you how to make a stop-motion video end to end using a digital camera

Here's a little sneak peek good video. We're going to be working towards

Even though the end product of a video makes it look super easy

There is a lot that goes into the production such as patience, time,

creativity, but most importantly an idea...

Ideas can come from anywhere and best of all they are free!!!

But where do ideas come? For me they come from everyday situations. Like in a dream...

Conversation with friends...

On the toilet...

Even while eating Nando's!

Now we've got some idea nuggets

We're gonna need to put them into a script a script. This will tell us the locations, the characters, their movements, actions

expressions, and most importantly the dialogue.

I like to use the program Final Draft for my scripts.

Using the correct script format will make a story clearer and also help with the runtime as one page usually equals one minute of video

When writing the script, there is a format to follow

I'll make some notes on the screen for you. Our shot will be 'exterior', on the Main Street and during the day

Now we need to set our scene. Batman and Robin are on the street about to get into the Batmobile

Robin has a pizza in his hand. Batman turns and looks at Robin. Now we'll add some dialogue.

We have our character, Batman, and he'll say "Hey Robin. Don't think you'll bring that pizza into the Batmobile

This is real Italian leather I have on these seats". We'll pop one last action in, Robin looks disappointed

We're getting close to filming, but first we need to know what to film

Storyboards are perfect for this!

They will give you an idea of how your video will unfold and most importantly to make sure you don't miss any shots

Your drawings don't need to be good for storyboards

They just need to be clear enough to show you how to line up your camera for each photo

Next using the storyboards that we made, make a list of what sets need to be built. The best part about

brick films is that people can only see what you want them to see, so sets don't need to be large

Or well built, in fact most shots can be on a 32X32 base plate as long as they look good on camera

If something can't be seen on camera try to remove it this will give you more space to get your hand into the certain movie

characters around

Remember that you set may only require two more once the camera is put in place it will appear to your audience that you've built

A whole work structure sense with props in the background like a desk in the corner overall

Pictures on the wall this will give you birth film or personality and make it more appealing to watch

It's now time to prepare to shoot lighting is very

important when you're shooting a brief film the owner will avoid

Natural light as the Sun is always moving and can change the brightness on clouds float by

Try to find two or three desk lamps and put a piece of a4 paper over the top of the wire

This will diffuse the brightness and eliminate harsh shadows try position the first light above you set shining down from behind

This will separate your character from the background went on camera

position the other one or two lights raised from the side of the camera this will avoid having direct light on any characters face and

reduce the shine on camera

Try to keep all lights at a distance from around 40 centimeters from your set this will help the camera capture a better image

It's important when shooting a brick film that you set stays perfectly in place

The slightest accidental knock will change the position of the set causing a drastic unwanted camera movement

I use blue tack or a bag of rice to hold my set in place you can try. What works you

Place the camera in front of you set and line it up. How it looks on your storyboard

Just like it's important to secure your set in place

It's the same rule for the camera if you were shooting on a smartphone

Use some bricks or create a hold in to keep your camera in place little blue tack won't hurt either

I like to use the shutter button this means. I'm not touching the camera

in each shot

Find the manual focus function on your camera this will make sure that every frame looks exactly the same

most cameras will automatically find the white object and use that to decide what the true color should be

Using desk Lancers lighting your film will generally have a yellow glow to them

If you want to avoid this find the white balance option in settings and use this to set the picture color with suits

Now it's time for your story to come to life have a practice run with your characters

Focusing on how they are going to move and where they are moving to

Play the scene through without taking any photos, and this will give you an idea of how it will look on camera

And if you need to make any last-minute adjustments once you're comfortable with how it looks let's start shooting ensure

You're only moving the characters a little each time this will probably be the hardest part

You're taking around 15 to 20 photos for just one second of footage

Remain patient and remember what movies you are working out for each

I'm going to create a nice smooth animated version now that you have all these shots. It's time to put it all together

I like to edit it on Final Cut Pro

But try using iMovie on your Mac or moviemaker on PCs these generally come free with your computer put all your photos into the timeline

Scene by scene choose the speeds of each photo then hit play to review your film adjust the speed until it suits your story

Depending on your script. It's now time to add voices and music

Recall the voices yourself or find a friend to help you out

It might take them four or five tries until they get the voice the way you want it

You keep going until you catch that perfect track man that jar open. You don't bring the pizza into the bathroom until

You go out you eat outside

Try adding sound effects such as footsteps so traffic noises to your film

It will generally go unnoticed by your audience

But it helps create a sense of reality within a scene making it feel more natural

If you want to get even more advanced you can have mouth movements to the characters

There are about nine mouth shapes that you can use for the pronunciations. If you a skill with Photoshop

You can use this to add the mouth shapes, otherwise you could use another basic photo editing program like pain

Congratulations. We've just made up for this brick film. Let's take a look and see how it came out

Man that jar open you don't bring the pizza into the bottom of build

Out you go out you eat outside

Brooke films aren't easy to make it takes a lot of practice in fact

Let me show you my first Brit film just so you can see how bad I was

Every movie you make you'll learn something different each time so it's always important to stop and reflect on what worked well

What didn't work and what you can do better next time? Thanks for watching this tutorial?

I really hope you got some value out of it

Click on the link below to watch an additional video full of hints and tips to use while filming good luck

And I look forward to seeing what you created

Man that JA Robin you don't bring the pizza into the Batmobile

This is the finest Italian method no not you out you go out you eat outside

Universe where the thick darkness and aurora dance together

If a little hope could be painted in our hearts

Before the steps we are headed

What kind of stars would come to birth now

Countless promises within the tears of white lie

Jewels of light lost its shining

Even when everything vanishes

Still walk through the way we believe in

Garden of flowers where unchanging hopes bloom everlastingly

Gathering the lost pieces of heart to picture our future

Garden of flowers where unchanging hopes bloom everlastingly

Tomorrow blooming within the pouring rain drops

Today and Tomorrow

Countless scars as moonlight

Shining brightly with sorrows

Holding onto the piece of dream forgotten for a moment

The scent of tomorrow will be delivered

Garden of flowers where unchanging hopes bloom everlastingly

Blooming in our hearts always to create the scent

Garden of flowers where unchanging hopes bloom everlastingly

Rather than hesitating, we keep dreaming to grow future

Building a New Work Bench for the Wood Shop - Part 2 - Duration: 11:36.

Hello and welcome to donald vlogsifys wood shop

I'm your host Donald Matthews and this

Is part of my.....

Workbench Adventure

uhhh... As pretty clear to see I

Got some planing to do. Think I got a little bit of a twist on this

Indeed I do

My board is twisted, man

May have cut down another one for this use this one for a leg

And such things happen sometimes

I'll try another one.

See how this one is.

A little bit but it's not quite so bad.

So without further ado let's get to planing.

Knock down the high spots first.

I'm mostly just not worrying about getting the too smooth. Just flat so when I glue it up and laminate it

It'll fit together right nicely

And I'm probably gonna knock you on the floor if I'm not careful. So I might as well go ahead and set you down there.

And now you see why I need a steady workbench.

Get some winding sticks going here.

Don't have to be perfection. Just winding.

Not too bad.

Not too bad.

And what I'm probably gonna do

Is...do a couple of glue up a couple and finish up some more while that glue is drying because I'm limited on clamps.

Not going to try and glue them up all at the same time.

That really should do her.

Yep that doer

Santa didn't bring me no clamps for Christmas.

Alright, that's it....

I'm gonna go ahead and plane the rest of them, get the other two pieces

You know it's gonna be a one-time thing because this is about all the clamps. I've got uh

Some of them I busted into some of them

Around here somewhere. I thought. anyway...

I'm gonna get that done and get back to you when I'm ready to join all

All the pieces together

And like I said, this is gonna be several parts I

Kind of thought I'd get this over with in an afternoon, and it's not going to happen

So that's where I'm at now. I'll come back

with my next video

When I go to join them all together

And see how much time I got in that one in the meantime uh

If

You like what you see give me a thumbs up share my videos. I've got another videos on here, too

If you'd like to check them out

14 Things That Prove You're Not an Introvert - Duration: 5:53.

14 Things That Prove You're Not Really an Introvert

Have you always felt like you don't really identify much with either definition?

While some of the people you know seem to have a textbook case of either extroversion

or introversion, you've always been unsure how to label yourself.

Sometimes you can be the life of the party, while on other days you really can't bare

to talk to anyone.

If this sounds like you, it only proves that, like most human beings, one definition is

simply not enough to truly define you.

So, in this video I'm going to share with you 14 things that prove you're not really

an introvert.

If you are new to our channel, make sure to click the subscribe button and join our notification

squad so you won't miss any interesting update in the future guys!

1.

Your friends think you can handle striking up a conversation.

When you're standing in a group of friends and someone has to go talk to the crossing

guard to find out exactly how lost you are, your friends always seem to think you're

up for the task.

Why??

Help!

2.

Sometimes you're the life of the party; sometimes you're a beautiful wallflower.

Your friends never can quite understand how you function at parties.

Sometimes you arrive and you talk to everyone, sometimes you awkwardly move from wall to

wall, avoiding small talk at all costs.

3.

You're always picked to begin a presentation because your group-mates think you're a

good speaker.

You're good at speaking up and taking charge with a small group.

But talking in front of a crowd is a different story.

4.

You love traveling alone, but you secretly wish you'd meet some cool new people

You love going places alone!

Whether it's a big trip or a quick adventure around your city, you like going places with

only your mind for company.

But while you're out and about, you often find yourself fantasizing about meeting a

handsome new stranger, or becoming friends with the crazy lady on the street talking

to a chipmunk.

5.

You're great at the first few sentences of small talk…

…but then you get real awkward, real fast.

What are you supposed to say beyond the first sarcastic one-liner?

This is not what you rehearsed!

6.

You love being around friends and family, but you need your space

You really, truly don't mean to offend anyone.

It's just that you need to not be around people sometimes.

Even from the people you love the most (sometimes, especially from the people you love the most),

you just need time by yourself.

7.

You love talking to everyone, but there are only 2 or 3 people who you are actually comfortable

around.

You don't let down those barriers easily, and you don't even notice how well they're

built until you're back with your people.

And then you're free to be as weird and talkative as you're ambivert heart desires.

8.

You don't post Facebook statuses much, unless it's to show off your quirky side.

You seriously don't understand how some people still make multiple Facebook statuses

a day (come on people, it's not 2007 anymore).

You tend to post things only after putting a lot of thought into it.

That caption has to have just the write amount of wit, and that picture has to have just

the right amount of irony.

9.

You want people to notice you in a crowd, but never to acknowledge it.

Hello everyone, I see you all looking at me.

Yes I look awesome today, because yes I actually put eyeliner on, and if you don't notice

me I will probably be offended.

But please, for the love of god don't come over and say hi.

That will ruin it.

10.

Sometimes you want people to take pictures of you, sometimes you want to burn all the

cameras in the world.

You just have these days where the camera is your friend, and you have no problem posing

for a cute picture.

And then other days you feel like a potato that just grew limbs and is expected to perform

a ballet.

How do you stand naturally in front of this thing?

11.

You are either intimidated or intimidating.

Some days you happen to dress all in black and then Sugar We're Going Down Swingin'

happens to play on your phone, and then all the sudden you start swaggering down the street

like you can conquer the world.

And then other days the Starbucks lady makes your drink wrong and you cannot possibly confront

her about it.

12.

You don't really like to meet your relatives, but when you do, it's not as bad as you

thought.

Seeing relatives can always be a bit of an ordeal, especially if you don't know them

well.

You end up dreading it forever, but then you actually meet them and you remember that relatives

are contractually obligated to love you, and it all turns out okay.

13.

Being left alone with a mutual friend is your worst fear

You're so good at talking to the people you like, your friends think you're just

naturally good with all people.

You are not!

It's a trap!

Don't leave me with them!

14.

You're just really super awkward sometimes

And that just frustrates the hell out of you.

Don't let it bother you, this just proves you're so much more than a category.

Well, that's the 14 things that prove you're not really an introvert.

So, how can you define yourself after watching this video guys?

Please do share your thoughts and experiences in the comments below!

What are you reading? The title? Eli: Love don't hurt

Eli: Being weird* Beba: Let's see what's up with this song

Play it Beba: One~ Two~

Beba: No, don't smoke Eli: No! Smoking is bad for you

Love don't hurt x2

I feel like I read the title wrong but it's okay

She has a nice

Her voice is so pretty

I feel like I have seen her before

(We loved this song)

I liked that part

I've heard his voice before

Eli: Hers or his? Beba: His Eli: I feel like

Like I've seen a video from her

Beba: Is like their in a bad relantionhip Eli: Yes

Love don't hurt

If it was love it wouldn't hurt

Good point

Eli: Her voice is amazing Beba: I know she does

I loved that part

I feel like at the end she will leave all that behind

There's nothing more that I loved then rap during a slow song/ballad

I know me too definitely that get's you

Love don't hurt

Shannon

Shannon

Her voice is amazing

Eli: I loved the song Beba: Me too I loved her voice

Eli: I know Beba: And the rap part Eli: That too

when

I think they did a good thing to finish the song with

The rap and her voice

Eli: I really enjoyed that Beba: Yes Eli: But everything was perfect though

Th visuals of the video everything was

And looked cool I loved everything Beba: Me too x2

I loved it and I feel like I've seen her before

Me too and him too Eli: I don't think I've seen him before

But for her I do think so the person who

Recommended this song in the comments mentioned that she was half British and half Korean

That's interesting

Her voice is beautiful and I

Loved MV so Beba: Me too

Although

I would have liked to know what happened at the end Eli: It could be an open ending Beba: Like always

I know a lot of videos are like that

But yeah

Eli: We loved it Beba: I hope she got out of that bad relationship

Love don't hurt

But yeah we hope you guys liked our video if you did don't forget to hit the like button
