Jay Leno: Late-Night Television Is Nothing But A Depressing Trump Bash-Fest

If youre sick of watching people like Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert devolve into a

nightly routine of anti-Trump jokes and insults then youre in the same boat as former late-night

legend Jay Leno.

The former Tonight Show host had good things to say about the show hosts, and that

they were indeed funny, but the negativity that has pervaded the late night show slots

has been depressing to watch.

From Hollywood Reporter:

Late-night has always been pretty topical.

The only trouble is now everyone has the same topic.

(Laughs.)

Its all depressing Trump stuff.

And they all do a great job.

Seth Meyers is a great writer; Jimmy Kimmel does a good job; Jimmy Fallon does a great

job.

I like Stephen Colbert, Trevor Noah [on Comedy Central] and Samantha Bee [on TBS].

The trouble is that theres such negativity now.

When I did the show, Bush was dumb and Clinton was horny and it was human problems.

Now its all anti-women, anti-LGBT, anti-Muslim, anti-Mexican, anti-Salvadoran; its such

a negative thing.

God bless all the late-night hosts, they make it funny, but ultimately, its depressing.

The Real Reason You Don't Hear From Nancy Kerrigan Anymore - Duration: 4:43.

It's been more than 20 years since the infamous attack on Olympic figure skating star Nancy

Kerrigan, but her dramatic story is making headlines again following the release of the

critically-acclaimed I, Tonya.

But while the rest of the world resurrects the scandalous story of skater Tonya Harding's

ex-husband reportedly hiring a man to club Kerrigan in the knee, Kerrigan herself has

since skirted the spotlight.

So, why the radio silence?

We've got the details.

Giving up pro skating

Following her silver medal win at the '94 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer — which she

earned a mere seven weeks after the attack on her knee – Kerrigan retired from competitive

ice skating at the age of 25.

But she left on a high note, earning millions of dollars in endorsements, thanks in part

to her manager (and now husband) Jerry Solomon.

Threats on her life

Kerrigan reportedly received threats on her life during the '94 Olympic Games, prompting

her to bail before the closing ceremony.

But according to UPI, some fans didn't believe the threats were real, and attributed Kerrigan's

early exit to a media contract with Disney, noting that she showed up to a parade at Disney

World instead of attending closing ceremonies.

Kerrigan told the Daily Mail in 2013 that on top of crushing media scrutiny, she was,

indeed, receiving threats.

She even claims she was asked to leave Lillehammer by the King of Norway via a message that deemed

her "a security risk."

The harsh spotlight

Though many now categorize the Kerrigan versus Harding era as a classic battle of good versus

evil, it was Kerrigan who suffered intense backlash following her injury and Olympic

success.

The athlete was heavily scrutinized for relatively benign comments made in the presence of hot

mics.

In one instance, during a Disney World parade, she was overheard saying,

While it might be true, the emotional whiplash of a one-time "media darling" recast as a

"graceless diva" seemed to drive Kerrigan out of the spotlight.

Dancing With the Stars bomb

Kerrigan took on the most high-profile gig she's had since her Olympic days by competing

on Dancing With the Stars in 2017.

But she wasn't the champion on the ballroom floor that she once was on the ice.

The skater was eliminated in week seven, which distinguished her as the only former figure

skater to have competed on the show and not make it into the top five, according to NBC

Sports.

But Kerrigan told Good Morning America that the experience was invaluable, saying she

now knows,

"We are so capable of doing more than we think

we are."

Low-key performing

Though she hasn't skated competitively in a long time, Kerrigan hasn't hung up the skates

completely.

She's even participated in shows as recently as early 2017, telling Parade,

"I still do some things here and there, but I'm mainly the driver for the kids at home,

so it's a little limited."

Kerrigan told Entertainment Tonight, "I don't even really skate much anymore."

"Really?"

"Well, I'm a mom, I have three kids, and I'm in my car driving around, driving them to

where they need to go."

"All the time!"

"Yeah, all the time."

Family tragedy

Kerrigan suffered a devastating personal tragedy in 2010 when her brother, Mark Kerrigan, was

incarcerated in connection to the passing of her father, Daniel Kerrigan.

According to the New York Daily News, Mark was found guilty of assault and battery after

he put his hands around Daniel's neck, triggering a fatal heart attack.

Kerrigan defended her brother on Today, saying, "He shouldn't have been charged.

I mean, my dad had a heart attack, and that's that."

Since the verdict, Kerrigan says her family has done their best to move on, together.

Giving back

Kerrigan is a spokesperson for the Foundation Fighting Blindness and raises money for the

vision-impaired through the Nancy Kerrigan Foundation.

Her work with the foundation is personal, as Kerrigan's mother, Brenda, is blind.

In addition, Kerrigan executive produced Why Don't You Lose 5 Pounds?, a documentary about

eating disorders in athletes.

Kerrigan told ABC News that she struggled with anorexia through the '94 Winter Games,

unknowingly dropping 15 pounds before competing.

"My world was completely out of control.

Like a little bit… it was crazy."

Priorities

As of 2017, Kerrigan's kids are 19, 12, and 9 years old, and outside of her very selective

figure skating performances, they are her world.

During an emotional segment on Dancing With the Stars, she opened up about her heartbreaking

journey to grow her family.

Kerrigan revealed that she suffered six miscarriages in the eight years following the birth of

her first son, Matthew.

She told People she relied on in vitro fertilization to conceive her second and third children,

Brian and Nicole.

"I always wanted to have three kids by the time I was thirty, sort of like what my mom

had done."

Kerrigan says these days ice-skating takes a backseat to her children.

And she shares some inspiring life advice with them, too:

"Never give up.

Keep trying.

If you have hope in your heart, you can persevere.

I know it's hard sometimes to have it, but it's important."

The Edgy Veg Cookbook | Review by Mary's Test Kitchen - Duration: 8:52.

Hello friends and not yet friends!

Let's get 2018 started with THE vegan cookbook review you've been waiting for.

I'm talking about The Edgy Veg cookbook by the original YouTube queen of DIY vegan fast

food, Candice Hutchings.

Along with her husband James.

Y'all know I can't be completely impartial because 'cause I'm a huge, huge fan.

I'm guessing a lot of you are too.

But I'm gonna try my best to give you a really thorough review by trying out some of recipes

and sharing my thoughts those and on the rest of it.

I'm gonna start with breakfast.

This book's got pancakes and waffles and french toast and scrambles but the breakfast dish

that reigns supreme in my heart is the Benny.

Veggs Benny.

You might have seen Candice make Vegan Eggs Benedict already but the Ritzy Hollandaise

sauce in the book is a bit different than the one on her channel.

Instead of using store-bought hard-to-get-in-Canada egg replacer, we're making it from scratch...

With silken tofu, unsweetened almond milk, lemon juice, and a bunch of flavourings.

By the way, to me this nutritional yeast tastes just like Bob's Red Mill which is the brand

I usually get, but this one costs a lot less.

That makes a big difference when you go through nooch in a quantities that I do.

So if you want this low cost but high quality B12 fortified nooch, I've left a linky in

the description.

The key flavour ingredient though is black salt.

Which confusingly isn't black.

It's pink!

Pinky grey.

And smells like eggs so stand back when you go to blend it.

Then, like with regular hollandaise, you've got to add butter.

Vegan butter of course.

And before you know it, you get creamy vegan hollandaise sauce.

Just heat it up and it's ready to go on.

On some toasted english muffins, with vegan deli slices (I'm using Yves today) and slices

of seasoned fried tofu.

The full recipe in the book includes asparagus but for my veg, I'm going with crispy tater

tots.

And sauce goes on those too.

Are you getting hungry yet?

This was delicious!

I'd eat this sauce on just about anything.

I *can* taste the tofu a bit so if you've got a tofu super taster who is simultaneously

a tofu hater, then maybe this isn't the holy grail hollandaise.

But it doesn't bother me.

I love tofu.

And happily, you can try it out for yourself even if you don't have the book yet.

Link in the description below.

The next dish is Thai Basil Beef.

Obviously not with beef.

I love how this book is full of dishes inspired by different cultures.

Canada is super multicultural especially in our major cities and this book really reflects

that.

But the real reason I decided to try this recipe is it's supposed to be quick to make.

See the icon?

There's an icon for meals that can be made in 45 minutes or less, gluten-free recipes,

and one for recipes that are great for entertaining.

You know, for when you really need to knock some socks off.

This recipe starts dangerously.

With shallots, garlic, and red hot Thai chili peppers.

Seriously, stand back when you pop open your food processor because otherwise it will burn

your eyes.

After wiping the tears from your eyes, heat up some coconut oil in a pan and add the paste.

Again, stand back.

Also make sure your stove fan is on if you got one.

I can't warn you enough.

While that's going on, mix up some sauce out of soy sauce, mirin (which is Japanese rice

wine) and vegan Worchestershire sauce.

Candice suggests The Wizard's vegan wochestershire sauce.

I just got the co-op gold brand from my local Calgary co-op so if you're in my area, yeah,

that one's vegan.

You're welcome.

Now that the paste is fragrant, we can add some ground round.

I'm using Yves original veggie ground today.

Then add the sauce.

This gets cooked for 20 minutes.

Which to me, feels like a long time.

Because as soon as the sauce hits pan, this smells flipping amazing.

And I don't want to wait.

But this is a review.

So I'mma try to do this as properly as I can.

Try being the operative word.

For you.

My friends.

Because we're super efficent, we're not just going to stand and wait.

We're going to make the serving sauce.

With more soy sauce.

Actually the recipe specifies Tamari which I think is less salty than my Chinese soy

sauce but I'm not sure so don't quote me on that.

Then fresh lime juice.

Minced garlic, chopped Thai chilies and Thai basil chiffonade.

You can just roughly chop the basil but I decided to be fancy today.

Now the vegan beef is almost done.

We'll add some Thai basil and let it wilt...

And it's done.

Ready to go on rice.

With fresh cucumber.

And some more basil.

and a little of that serving sauce.

And it tastes so good.

Big bold strong flavours.

Spicy but not too spicy, salty but...I guess it is really salty...I probably should have

used Tamari like the recipe specifies but it's still good.

Just need a bit of cucumber to balance.

And the lime juice has just the right amount of tang.

With the herbaceous Thai basil.

Legit.

I do declare.

And you can declare it as well after giving this recipe a try because I've left you a

linky for this recipe too.

In case you haven't figured by now, let me tell you, I am loving this book.

I'll tell you all the ways while I make the half baked mac and cheese.

First off, this book is beautiful.

The hardcover is so nice and sturdy.

There are great photos for most of the recipes.

I don't know about you but half the fun of cookbooks for me are the pictures.

They give you an idea of what you should end up with but also, it's inspiration and motivation

to actually get in the kitchen.

For those new to the kitchen or the vegan kitchen, they've included lots of tips to

get started, a pantry list, shopping ideas, and what to do about subbing out meat, eggs

and dairy.

And the puns.

If you love the humour on The Edgy Veg, well...this book is saturated with puns and mom/dad jokes.

The recipes run the gamut from comfort food classics to bright bold flavours from across

the world.

And in that way, some of the recipes call for easy to find grocery store staples but

others do require a trek to speciality stores.

So fun for foodies in other words.

This book is so much goodness that I can't even fit it all in this video so check out the accompanying

blog post on marystestkitchen.com and while you're there, sign up for email updates.

Anyways, do yourself a favour, get this book.

It's at all the major book retailers online and off.

I've seen it for great prices, totally more than worth the money.

And that's my opinion.

Let me know yours in the comments below.

Thanks so much for watching friends.

Sorry about the long break between videos.

I'm not going back to a regular schedule.

New videos will just come as they do so hit the bell icon to get notifications or sighn

up for email updates on marystestkitchen.com so you don't miss a thing!

Again, thanks for watching.

I love you guys.

How To Cover Up Pimples | Youtube 2018 - Duration: 8:14.

Hi today's videos about how to cover up pimples my name is Melissa Van Dijk and

I'm a professional makeup artist and if you like to you can join me every Sunday

on my Facebook page where I'm doing live makeup tutorials and everything is down

below in the description box and now without further ado let's get right into

this video I'm sure that you know the problem that if you have some pimples

that you want to cover them up but sometimes you want to use a little bit

more product than usual because you just want to get rid of the appearance of

your pimples but this can be making it worse so I'm going to show you now two

different ways how to cover up pimples and you also can mix the different ways

to one full face makeup and then I'm also going to get you through

step-by-step so that you can understand what it does to your skin and as you can

see I still have some pimples that normally I can get them once a month

which is great and now they're in the healing process but still this one is

just coming out and one right here so it's all about the redness which makes

it worse so I'm going to show you how to just neutralize the redness so that you

have a really nice and flawless skin just keep in mind that you can't really

hide the bump from the pimple but you just can make it less visible so now

let's move on to step number one step number one start by using a primer to

help you concealer to stay in place if you have an oily skin take an oil

control primer to make sure that the makeup will last you all day long

this is a color correcting concealer wheel and I'm sure that you have already

heard of it and you can get it also in different not really textures but in

different tones so these are quite neutral so it has like a skin tone but

still with a greenish undertone to it and you can also get the green Reds and

so these are full on these are bold colors but I personally do not like them

because it's a little bit difficult to cover them up with your foundation so

you have to use even more product that's why I prefer the more skin toned colors

with just a hint of a greenish undertone to it and this will do the same job so

green neutralizes the red because the pimples are mostly red I'm going to use

the greenish shade right here and I'm going to apply it just on my pimples so

just use a little bit and apply to your pimples so that it just neutralizes the

reb that you have an even combust later on when you are going to apply a

foundation to cover up your pimples you can use a concealer but also in lip brush

it just needs to be a tiny brush so that you can just apply to your pimples where

the redness is this step is optional so if you have redness around your pimples

then use this color correcting greenish tone of concealer and this will just

neutralize the redness but if you don't have any redness around your pimples

then just skip this step

step number three take a fluffy eyeshadow brush or any random fluffy

brush to apply some translucent powder over the greenish concealer to set the

concealer so that when you are applying the foundation that it won't move

for step number two applying your foundation with a brush or Beauty

Blender whichever you prefer is the easiest way to cover them up and I

personally prefer to use a damp Beauty Blender because it gives me the quickest

and also the flawless looking finish and now we can move on to step number five

step number five choose a concealer in your skintone color two spot conceal now

you just can add a little bit more coverage to the areas which you still

can see the pimples looking through and so you don't have to use too much

product over your whole face but just add a little bit where your pimples are

for step number six use a little bit of translucent powder with a fluffy brush

and apply it to your pimples because you have applied some concealer earlier you

can now set it with some translucent powder so that it won't move

so now when you want to move on to the rest of your makeup just make sure that

you know what you're doing and it also depends on your product so if it's

liquid don't set your face at first do it later on and then you now you can

apply just some liquid products like liquid contour or any eyeshadows or

blush and then later on you can set it with translucent powder and if you're

using those from powder products then just make sure that you set this face

now with some translucent powder and then you can move on to your powder

products like powder blush and also powder contour so just keep this in mind

so that you can get a really nice result and also a flawless and even makeup look

this was the video about how to cover up your pimples and I hope that you could

learn something from it and that you can try it at home because it still works

just make sure that you are powdering between each layer and now I like to

link you to another video which is also a really helpful video and this is for

the next step on how to go and come - which is right here so go and check it

out it's a really good one and you can also subscribe to my channel this is

right here in the corner thank you so much for supporting me and I will see

you soon bye

When Nintendo Apologized To Gamers - Duration: 4:58.

It's easy to be a Nintendo fan.

Not only do they remind us of the joys of our collective childhoods, but they continue

to release high quality games and push for innovation and experimentation in the industry.

They're not perfect, though.

Here's a look at some times when Nintendo had to apologize to gamers.

The Wii U library

Nintendo has long been an innovator when it comes to console design, but it's their classic

game library that draws most fans in.

So gamers who purchased a Wii U at launch were considerably let down as the months rolled

by with no major new releases for flagship franchises, like Legend of Zelda.

Eventually, the late Satoru Iwata, who was then president and CEO of Nintendo, apologized

to fans in a Nintendo Direct broadcast, assuring fans that new games for the console were on

the way.

#whoops

Everyone hates autocorrect, and it turns out even Nintendo isn't immune to embarrassing

screwups thanks to a simple typo.

While trying to get Twitter fans to vote for either Waluigi or Wiggler, Nintendo accidentally

left a letter off, leading to a truly unfortunate hashtag.

Nintendo immediately deleted the tweet and apologized for accidentally using a racially

charged slang term, but this is one mistake fans won't forget any time soon.

Tomodachi Life

Nintendo's 2014 simulator Tomodachi Life was basically The Sims for the 3DS, with players

able to simulate things like working and dating in a virtual world.

When fans sent Nintendo a petition to allow players to pursue same sex relationships in

the game, though, things went south.

Nintendo's tone deaf response claimed the game didn't have same sex relationships because

they didn't want "to make any form of social commentary," and urged fans not to take things

so seriously.

After critics pointed out that refusing to allow all relationships in a game about relationships

was itself a form of social commentary, Nintendo issued an apology pledging to be more inclusive

in any possible sequels…. since allowing a giant evil lizard to marry a human woman

was okay, but same-sex marriage apparently wasn't.

Price drop

Price drops are inevitable with any piece of hardware, but when Nintendo announced a

$80 price cut to the 3DS only a few short months after launch, it seemed like a slap

in the face to early adopters.

Nintendo apparently learned from some of its previous public relations problems, though,

because this time they pro-actively apologized to owners by allowing them to download 20

exclusive free games.

Good job, Nintendo!

Racial slur

Several advance copies of Animal Crossing: Wild World were sent out to game journalists,

all containing a copy of the same pre-existing save file, to show off some of the game's

unique features.

One of those features was the ability to customize character dialogue, which turned into a PR

nightmare for Nintendo when it was discovered they had sent out a version that had been

customized with a racial slur.

Nintendo apologized and recalled the advance copies, but not before the internet had a

field day with it.

Fat shaming

The fitness app Wii Fit helped turn the Wii into a genuine fad, as gamers could get in

shape while playing games.

Best of both worlds, right?

Well, it was, right up until the game called a 10-year-old girl fat.

Her father went to the press, saying

"She is a perfectly healthy, 4ft 9in tall 10-year-old who swims, dances…"

"She is solidly built but not fat.

She was devastated to be called fat and we had to work hard to convince her she isn't.

I know it is just a game but we already have to worry about young girls starving themselves

to look like magazine models and now we have a game that tells them they're fat.

This to me is very worrying."

Nintendo apologized, saying that the Body Mass Index "may not be entirely accurate for

younger age groups due to varying levels of development."

Player bans

In the hit game Super Smash Bros., Princess Peach has a special ability where she can

pull a turnip out of nowhere and huck it.

Sometimes, though, she ends up finding a bomb or some other item instead of a turnip.

Usually that's a lucky break, but not for a batch of 3DS players who apparently got

banned simply for playing Peach on a level where items aren't allowed - even items the

game itself is programmed to provide you.

Needless to say, players who were unfairly banned just for playing the game as it was

designed weren't very happy, and Nintendo had to issue another apology after reinstating

their accounts.

Whoops!

Shortages

Finally, if there's one thing Nintendo is known for besides making cool games, it's

not making enough of those games to go around.

Over the years, Nintendo has frequently been forced to apologize for not producing enough

product to satisfy customer demand.

In 2015, for instance, there was a shortage of the popular Amiibo collectible figurines.

Nintendo apologized after some fans accused the company of intentionally keeping supply

down in order to drive up demand.

They didn't learn their lesson, though, because in 2016, the same thing happened over the

holiday season when Nintendo debuted the NES Classic.

And then it happened again in 2017 with the release of the Switch.

So next time Nintendo announces a new product, keep an eye on the news, because the inevitable

apology is sure to follow.

Ribéry's first goal of the season: "It's a great feeling" - Duration: 1:30.

2018's first competitive game ended in victory for FC Bayern,

meaning they return home to Munich full of confidence and with three points in the bag.

A key factor behind last night's 3-1 win was Franck Ribéry,

with the Frenchman grabbing Bayern's second goal in Leverkusen.

It's a great feeling, very emotional.

It was my first goal this season.

was a nice goal too,

not to mention an important one at that moment of the game.

It's always a good feeling to score a goal

and feel the support of the fans – that's what Bayern's about!

Before the flight back to Munich on Saturday,

Jupp Heynckes held a training session out on the pitches for last night's substitutes,

while the rest of the team completed recovery exercises.

After what was a short but high-intensity winter break,

the win against Leverkusen carries an even greater value.

It's always tricky coming back after the break and being on holiday,

and playing in Leverkusen is never easy;

they're a good side.

we played well as a team – we linked up superbly like a proper unit.

It's always important to win the first game.

In fact it's vital.

TWITCH NERF! Let's look at the numbers - Rainbow Six Siege - Duration: 7:12.

What's up guys, Rogue 9 here!

Easily the most controversial change in the White Noise mid-season reinforcements patch

in Rainbow Six Siege is the significant nerf to Twitch's shock drone.

In an unexpected move, Ubisoft is reducing the total number of shock darts down from

30 to 10; that's 5 for each drone.

This move has surprised and angered many players and in this video, I want to briefly dive

into some of the stats to understand if this nerf is justified and if it will significantly

impact how we will all need to play Twitch going forward.

Quick reminder (I know it's getting old for some of you) my give away is still running

and a new way to earn entries has been added, link in the description below!

So, Twitch nerf: is it justified?

Well, in the patch notes, the game designers give us a little insight into their reasoning

by telling us that: "Twitch right now is too strong."

Now we don't get any more detail beyond this but I expect statistics such as win ratio,

K/D ratio and maybe kill assist ratio to be higher for Twitch than the devs would like

them to be.

And one possible explanation they give for Titch's above average performance is that

30 darts can allow a skilled drone operator to take out far too many defender gadgets.

I think this is an interesting point and while destroying defender gadgets is supposedly

the main function and purpose of the drone, I would argue that there are statistics that

speak against this, but more on that later.

I personally feel that being able to take out 10 defender gadgets is still more than

enough to facilitate an assault in most games and the real (and possibly overlooked) strength

of the drone is actually the damage that it can do against enemy operators.

Sure the fire rate of the drone is relatively slow, the damage is only 10 points and at

least on PC, shooting the drone is pretty easy once you discover it.

So fair enough, being taken down 10 HP at a time from full health is highly unlikely

but if we take a bit of a closer look at the damage stats, we will see that you can already

have a huge impact on a defender's chances of survival by landing just two or three shots.

Because here's the thing: As a rule, the attacker weapons are on average a bit more

powerful than the guns of the defenders and with only a handful of exceptions, most of

these weapons will do at least 40 points of damage per shot (and that's including the

pistols).

In fact, it is only Ash's rifles, Zofia's pistol, the machine pistols and most of the

LMGs that do less than 40 damage per shot.

Why is this important?

Well, this means that only two zaps with the shock drone will take any 3 speed / 1 armour

defender (and in many cases also 2 armour defenders) from 3 shots to down or kill, to

2 shots to down or kill.

If you land three zaps, then the remaining 2 armour and even in some cases the 3 armour

operators will become 2 hit kills.

Now one less shot to kill might not sound like a lot, but specifically going from 3

required shots down to 2 means that the "time to kill" is cut in half.

Let me demonstrate this on the example of the L85A2, used by the SAS attackers.

Except when Rook Armour is in play, the gun can down any opponent in three shots at distances

up to around 27m.

With a fire rate of 670 rpm, this means that the weapon has a consistent time to down or

kill of 179ms, for three body shots.

The first shot occurs as soon as you pull the trigger and then two more shots.

But if you only need 2 shots to down your opponent, then it's the first shot plus

one more and that results in needing only half the time, which in this case is around

89.6ms.

If we assume that we are dealing with two players with a ping of 40ms each (quite reasonable

numbers I would say) then that means that the time to down is now so short that the

defender will basically be out of the game before they even know they are under fire.

And THAT, is where Twitch's real power lies.

Two or three zaps for 10 HP each time might not seem like much but in terms of weakening

the defenders and making them much easier to pick off in firefights, this can go an

awfully long way.

I don't think anyone will have ever taken out 30 gadgets in one round.

It's not only unfeasible but also completely unnecessary; but being able to cut the time

to down in half for the entire defending team?

Now that can make Twitch a real menace, especially on console where drones are much more difficult

to deal with and I think this factor may well mean that Twitch is outperforming other operators

in terms of win/loss ratio.

And my conclusion here would be that even though I did not see this Twitch nerf coming

and taking away 20 of her charges seems like a massive change, I have to admit that it

probably makes sense.

The second question I want to answer is: Will this change have as much of an impact as we

fear?

And again here I want to refer back to a tiny glimpse behind the curtain that the developers

have given us.

In a post on Reddit, Ubisoft explained the decision behind the Twitch nerf a little more

and a key statistic they shared there was that "[…] the average number of gadgets

destroyed by one Shock Drone in a single round is 1.4 (this includes cameras)."

So reducing the number of shock charges down to 5 for each drone won't really have much

of an impact on Twitch in terms of the gadgets she takes out.

Most players will only take out around 3 gadgets per round in total anyway which, even after

what seems like a massive nerf, will leave 7 spare charges and that is still more than

enough to make two of the defenders relatively easy to kill.

It will definitely force Twitch players to be more conscious of their target selection;

you can't just take out any device you see anymore, you will need to choose a little

more carefully which gadgets to take out or which defenders to injure.

So the bottom line here is that I can see where the idea of nerfing the drone came from

and if the 1.4 gadgets destroyed per drone, per round stat is anything to go by, the impact

of the nerf might not be as drastic as I had initially feared.

Nevertheless, I can understand the worry of many of the players who really enjoy playing

as Twitch.

Could this nerf have gone too far?

Yes, that's absolutely possible and we've seen it happen with other operators in the

past.

But finding this out is exactly what the test server is for and I for one will be making

some time this weekend to play a few rounds there to see how all of the new changes affect

the game.

What are your thoughts on the Twitch nerf and the patch in general?

Let me know in the comments section below!
