How To Stay Motivated As A Real Estate Agent - Duration: 8:31.

Hello everybody, thank you for coming to this week's video blog here at California

Realty Training.

My name is Robert Rico, and as usual, as typical, I want to bring some great stuff to you.

Hoping to take you to the next level, and those of you who are just being introduced

to the real estate world, I want to make sure you're comfortable and confident so you can

go out and kick the world's butt.

Now we discussed quite a few topics in the past before, today we want to bring you

something that's rather interesting, rather fun, rather analytical.

We had a viewer who asked us, "How can we stay motivated as a real estate agent?"

Motivation, motivation, motivation.

That is extremely tough to hold onto, and to take with you throughout your career.

But these ways to do it.

Now, let's talk about motivation in general.

Motivation.

I get excited about this topic, and I'll tell you why I get passionate about it.

It's not because of motivation in general.

It is because of what motivation leads to.

Keyword here is what?

Leads.

What it leads to.

It doesn't do much, it just leads to action.

It just leads ... You with me?

Motivation is just an introduction to action.

This is how it works.

Motivation, in my opinion, is it important?

Absolutely.

Let's start out with the origin.

The word motivation in general.

The word motivation comes from the word ... It's Latin for movere.

M-O-V-E-R-E, all right?

Now this means to move.

It means to move.

Got it?

Now, let's think about that.

Do we have to be active and move around and make things happen in real estate if you want

success?

Of course, the answer is yes.

We already know that.

The thing is how do we get there and what is it that motivates us?

What is it that gets us to move?

What is it that gets us to move?

Now, I've been in front of several thousands of students in the past and I've actually

asked them this question at the very first class.

I ask you today, if you're planning on maybe getting into this field, what is motivating

you to get your real estate license?

What is motivating you to get out of bed in the morning?

What is your motivation to make things happen?

To go to work?

To make things happen?

What is your motivation?

Most answers I get, the majority of time, if I had to put a number to it, the percentage

of times that I get the answer, "Money, that's the reason why I'm doing this," I want to

say is 90% of the time.

90% of the time people say their motivation is money.

That motivation is money.

I'm going to tell you something.

Nobody's motivation is money.

It really isn't.

Let's start over here.

Your motivation is not money.

Money is simply the surface.

I asked this to the class and we discussed this, and I want to dig deep in this.

Money is the surface.

What would you do with the money?

Let's dig deep, because that's the real motivation.

I ask somebody, "You're saying that what's motivating you is money.

You want to make more money.

What would you do with the money?"

Let's assume the student says, "I need to send my son to college.

He's going to graduate."

I've had this answer before from a student, "Well, my son's in high school, he's ready

to graduate and I gotta be prepared to send him to college."

They have to be financially ready, the parent does.

The motivation isn't money, it's what they're going to do with the money.

They're going to send Johnny to college.

The motivation is sending Johnny to college.

It gets deeper than that.

That's not the motivation.

The motivation is this.

What is the college going to do for the student?

The college for the student is going to make them educated.

Education might be the motivation.

Now we're at the education.

Education, of course, will lead to what?

Johnny having a good job.

Johnny gets a good job, johnny's happy.

At the end of the day, the motivation is to make sure the son is happy.

Money just leads to that.

When people think of motivation, the goal is what is it they're going to do at the end

of the day with all money?

Because money just ... It's just a product.

It's the action that you allow yourself to get to going through all these things here.

At the end of the rainbow, seeing your actual result.

The result is having somebody happy, in this example.

Your motivation, money?

Yeah, it could be.

Could be the introduction to your actual true motivation, but it's really just the surface.

Now, let's talk about motivation in general.

Motivation in general.

Motivation in general gets you going, as we discussed with the definition, it gets you

to move.

But that's just the beginning.

To me, motivation is completely overrated because it's just the beginning.

It's just a kick in the butt.

It's a kick in the ass saying, "Come on, get up.

You gotta do something."

The next step is activity, is action.

That's where a lot of people have trouble with.

A lot of people get motivated.

Hell, we all get motivated every day.

When we hear a speech we get motivated.

We watch a TV show, we get motivated.

We see somebody who accomplished some spectacular feat, we get motivated.

We think we could do the same thing.

We get motivated, get motivated, we get motivated.

But very few of us tend to act on it.

Those that do act on it, that's great.

They've taken the next step.

Get get motivated, they act on it, but the next avenue, the very next avenue to real

true success is what you do with that activity, which leads to discipline.

Discipline is what creates the highway to success.

Motivation is the introduction.

Most people can receive it.

It leads to activity.

Not many people want to go to the activity.

Last but not least in my opinion, it goes to discipline and very few people have that

discipline to lead themselves to the success.

Motivation, introduction, activity, the core, discipline, few have it but required necessary

in my opinion to get where you want to to be.

The question then goes to what keeps us motivated in real estate?

Why have I been doing it for 22 years?

Why have several been doing this for ever and ever and ever and have always been consistently

successful?

I've known several of my colleagues that have been consistently successful doing this over

and over and over every year.

Number one, their motivation, which might be money, is important to them.

Whether it be to keep their family lifestyle with their kids and having vacations all the

time, whether it is to provide their kids with the best education, to live in the most

preferred areas.

Whatever reason it is, that's their motivation.

How do they do it?

How do they consistently stay motivated, stay active, and stay disciplined?

It's the passion you have not just for the activity of real estate, but the importance

of the final product that it will bring to you.

That's how you do it.

You remind yourself every single day, "What is it that's making me get out of bed?"

It's the final product.

This just leads to it.

The money just leads to it.

Motivation is you down deep sitting there with a cup of coffee or a cup of tea, whatever

you drink, sitting there quiet there and saying, "What is important to me?

What is important to me?

Why am I doing this?

Why is it necessary that I do this?

I want my wife and I to have the best future possible, traveling and buying the latest

cars," if that's important to you.

"I want my children to go to best private schools," if that's what's important to you.

You have to keep that as your one thing, as your one thing, your one central goal that

keeps you going.

That keeps you going.

But down deep it's the discipline.

Down deep it's the discipline, but it starts off with motivation.

You sprinkle a little bit of passion, you sprinkle a little bit of reminding yourself

why you're doing it, and that in itself will guide you to where you you want to be.

Hope this helps you.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding motivation, listen, bottom line is you have

to do it.

You have to decide what's important to you and why you're doing why you're doing.

It's as simple as that.

Somebody else's motivation, somebody else's success doesn't have to be yours and vice

versa.

We all have our own individual forms of success.

If you have any questions or comments, if you'd like to maybe debate me on this.

Samsung Gear 360 - TOP camera under 100€ (review) - Duration: 8:37.

Hello everyone and welcome to this new video.

It was a long time since I wanted to try this camera, this Samsung Gear 360 (the old model, 2016) and finally I have it for some tests.

First of all, unboxing.

Obviously we have the cam with the mini-tripod that can be unscrewed to put the camera on a tripod or on a stick.

In the package we have the USB - micro-USB cable for charging and transferring files, booklets, the battery,

the wrist strap (which I will never use in my life) and a closable cloth bag to carry it with you.

I want to start from the battery. It is one of the few 360 cams to have a removable battery.

In fact you can take another or two others and change it when it's discharged.

The battery is 1350 mAh and enough to do about 100 minutes of recording.

The camera has two 15MP sensors that allow you to take pictures at 7776x3888. It's almost 8K and the photos are really good.

The sensors are wide-angle, 185 ° each f/2.0, so even in the dark you can have beautiful images and stitching is very good.

The cut is seen about 40-50 cm away and then the software makes a very good union.

But let's move on to the cam. The design is compact, elegant and truly fantastic.

The cam is IP53 so you can safely use it under the rain, but you can not immerse it.

On the side we have a door with the seal that protects the battery, the slot for the micro SD and the micro-USB port for charging and file transfering.

There are 2 microphones, unfortunately both on the same side, there is the speaker for the shutter sounds

and there are 3 LEDs of which two orange indicate the lens in use and 1 blue indicating when the camera is connected via bluetooth,

orange while charging and green when the charge is full. Or this led can be intermittent during the linking to Google Street View.

There are 3 buttons. 1 button for on/off or back function, 1 to change modes and enable bluetooth

and 1 for the shot and the OK. In addition there is a small display that allows us to comfortably know what we are doing.

The camera can also be used with only one lens of our choice. In that case we will have wide-angle photos and videos.

Photo with the size 3072x1728, not editable. And 2.7K videos at 30fps or FHD at 60fps.

Here I am using only one sensor of the cameraat the resolution 2560x1440 (I think, if I remember correctly).

You can also hear the sound of the two microphones of the Samsung Gear 360.

I also hope you enjoy the view ..

See also some stabilization and, anyway, the quality of the camera using a single lens and not as a 360 ° camera.

I'm using the front sensor, but you can do the same thing on the other side, or you can just turn it.

In addition to photos and videos, of course, there is the possibility to do time lapse or video loops.

You know, as soon as I turned on the cam I took a picture to see how it is and the first reaction, when I opened the photo, was:

Unfortunately I did not have the possibility to have professional or medium/high level 360° cams

and then seeing a picture in 8K in 360 was really nice.

For videos we have: 4K to 30fps, 3K to 30fps, 2.7K to 30/60fps and then the FHD (which I do not even consider).

In any mode, 1min of video weighs about 450 MB. This could help you decide which micro SD card to buy, in case you want to buy this cam.

As I said during unboxing, unscrewing the mini-tripod there is the 1/4" screw connection,

that is the standard of the tripods, in fact this cam can be attached on a tripod, on a stick to take pictures from afar or to make them stand alone.

To take photos from afar or remotely, there's the Samsung Gear 360 app. There are two versions, because the new one is also compatible with the Gear 360 2017.

And I, even if this cam is the old model, I used the new app because

"New is always better."

And here come the only two negative notes of this cam.

First of all, the camera connects to the smartphone using bluetooth.

This, for those who want to control the camera remotely is a frustration because the maximum distance is only 10m, and this if there are no obstacles in the way.

Otherwise it is even worse.

But the most limiting aspect of this camera is that the Gear 360 can only be controlled by Samsung devices of the latest generation.

In truth I want to reveal a small trick because actually this camera can be controlled remotely

from all the smartphones as long as we have, I guess, Android 5 Lollipop or 6 Marshmallow.

I tried it with a non-Samsung smartphone that had Nougat and I had no problems, but the limits I think are either 5 Lollipop or Android 6.

And the app is Google Street View.

Yeah, dear friend Google comes to help us again. Those who use Street View know that you can add 360 photos to the maps.

And you can do it in 3 ways: by taking the photo at the moment, uploading it from a folder, then the photo must already exist,

or by connecting a machine to take the picture instantly. This option allows you to connect the Gear 360 to all smartphones.

But obviously this system can not have no limitations and unfortunately there are some quite serious.

Like the absence of the preview, then before to take the picture you do not see what the camera sees,

you can not adjust the white balance, you can not adjust the exposure, there are not these types of corrections.

However, once you have taken the photo you will find it in a folder, or directly on the Street View app, and from there you can do whatever you want.

You can open it, for example, with VeeR Editor or other applications to edit it and use those photos as you wish.

This, however, concerns only the photos because regarding the videos, at this time, I have not found a solution for all smartphones.

Obviously you can do the video in stand-alone and then do some editing using the app for the computer

which however has limitations. So for now, for the videos I can not help you.

In any case, at the moment the cam costs less than 90$ on Amazon. I leave the link in the description and, in my opinion,

for 90$, for what this cam can do, for 8K photos, connecting it to Street View and then using it with all smartphones,

especially if you have a Samsung smartphone and you have no limitation, I think it's worth it.

Conclusions: I like the cam a lot. It is small, elegant, beautiful to look at, you can take it anywhere without problems,

the photos in 8K are really beautiful to see. The videos are acceptable because however the 4K is the minimum resolution for 360 videos and so it's okay.

I, by the way, have the Galaxy S8 so I have no compatibility problem, so I like this camera a lot.

However, I recommend everyone to buy it because for 90$, for what it can do, perhaps using some loophole

like Street View or other editing softwares on the computer, in my opinion for less than 90$ it's worth it.

Obviously the price of 90$ refers to the day I am making this recording.

I do not know how many days later you will see this video, it may also be that the camera now costs more or costs less

so in any case I leave the links in the description, go and see it, under 100$ this cam must be taken.

In the description you can also find the test I did in 360° and, if you want to see other videos with the Gear 360,

follow me, subscribe to this channel or follow me on VeeR because I usually upload 360 videos there.

Because it's better than YouTube.

In any case, comment, leave a like ... Mite kurete arigatou

Juvenoia: The Psychology Behind Millennial Bashing - Duration: 6:02.

[♩INTRO ]

Whether or not you're a self-centered, avocado-toast-loving, technology-addicted millennial, you've definitely

seen the headlines about them.

It seems like every month brings some fresh woe: They can't stick to a job for more

than a year!

They're all depressed.

They'll never be able to afford homes because they're so busy brunching.

If you're not a millennial, this might be a little concerning.

If you are a millennial, this is probably more than a little annoying.

Because, honestly, the kids are pretty sure that the kids are all right.

But there are some psychological ideas that could explain this intergenerational judge-fest.

Sociologists call this phenomenon juvenoia — an exaggerated fear about the influence

of social change on young people.

There is a term for it.

And while clickbait headlines might be new, hand-wringing over the generation that's

coming of age is anything but.

The ancient Egyptians and ancient Greeks thought their young people were rude and selfish.

In 1240 CE, this preacher named Peter the Hermit complained that kids thought they were

right about everything.

In the 1950s, parents worried that comic books would corrupt their children.

And, at least when it comes to millenials, there's some good evidence that this paranoia

is unfounded.

There do seem to be generational differences, like: millennials are more highly educated,

more likely to live with their parents, and more likely to have student debt than previous

generations.

But despite the stereotypes, they actually stay longer at their jobs than Gen Xers did

at the same age.

Surveys show that they care about their work a lot and more are willing to stay overtime

to get the job done.

And if they scrape together the capital to form households of their own, millennials

actually make fairly typical economic decisions.

In fact, a lot of research has concluded that, while each new generation might like different

music or clothes, their values are fundamentally similar to those of their parents.

So why is everyone so freaked out?

The sociologist who coined the term "juvenoia" in 2011 had some suggestions.

Evolutionary biology is one of them.

The basic idea is that it can be a good thing for animals to have alarm systems that are

highly sensitive to threats to our offspring.

The problem might be that the world has changed a lot since those systems evolved.

So unfamiliar things in society could set off those alarms, too.

Like, you know, comic books, apparently.

Another possible explanation is nostalgia, which biases us toward remembering the good

stuff.

Psychological research has shown that nostalgia is a universal experience that gets more common

as we get older.

Generally, it's a good thing!

Nostalgia can boost self-esteem and make people feel good about their lives.

But it can also lead older people to imagine negative comparisons between the youth of

today and their own childhood, that might get a little unrealistic or unnecessarily

harsh.

***"Back in my day, we didn't need these fancy video based adventures, we had text

games that like the ones that I played were like, "Pick up the stick", and you pick

up the stick, "Walk west" … and we loved it and they were fine!!

Here's the thing, though: according to most of the psychology research on generational

differences, juvenoia may actually have more to do with perception than reality.

Generational stereotypes, after all, are like any other kind of stereotypes.

We form these categories as a kind of mental shortcut, and then lump in traits we've

come to associate with each one.

Sometimes, this is helpful.

Puppies are generally fluffy and cute, Serial killers are generally dangerous.

The problem, of course, is that sometimes stereotypes are wrong.

A 2008 study of nearly 4,000 Australian professionals found that there were differences between

generations, but they were often small… and usually not the ones that stereotypes

would have predicted.

Baby Boomers, for instance, were expected to be high-achieving, but they were actually

the least focused on career advancement.

Instead, the younger, quote-unquote "lazier" generations, I gesture to you, were the most

driven.

Which kind of makes sense, because Baby Boomers are currently close to retirement and millennials

are often just starting out.

These findings led the researchers to suggest that these differences might be more about

age and stage of life than generational cohort.

Similarly, a 2012 study found that there were far fewer actual differences between generations

than people from those generations perceived there being.

Our perceptions of generational differences also depend on the relationship and how old

we are, something that's known as the developmental stake hypothesis or the intergenerational

stake hypothesis.

Studies have shown that parents are more invested in their relationships with their children

than their children are.

Researchers have suggested that this is because children are trying to establish their identities,

whereas parents are more focused on trying to build a legacy.

But in one 2015 study of 633 participants, even though parents considered their relationships

with their children more important, they also rated them more negatively.

This could be because parents view their children as continuations of themselves.

So they find it disrupting when the kids behave in ways different from how parents remember

behaving.

It could also be because of how invested parents are in the relationship — any conflict can

become a threat to the relationship, and make it feel more sour than that actually is.

But as the parent-child pair ages, the generational gap seems to shrink.

One longitudinal study looked at families in 1971 and 1985.

And the researchers found that in 1985, family members reported closer relationships and

fewer generational differences.

Which, of course, makes you wonder whether the gap was ever there to begin with… or

whether it had more to do with age and development.

More research is needed to know for sure.

But in the meantime, cool it with the clickbait.

There probably aren't as many differences between generations as we think there are.

And either way, we could all benefit from a little more avocado toast.

Cuz it's really good.

How Chadwick Boseman Got Ripped To Play Black Panther - Duration: 3:39.

Chadwick Boseman followed in the footsteps of a whole host of elite superhero actors

by getting seriously ripped for his role as T'Challa in Black Panther—but his Hollywood

fitness journey actually started well before he joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Here's some insight into how Chadwick got chiseled.

The path to Panther

T'Challa isn't Boseman's first physically demanding role.

In 2013, he portrayed Jackie Robinson in the biographical drama 42.

As well as capturing Robinson's off-field contribution to the civil rights movement,

Boseman needed to appear authentically athletic for scenes on the field.

To prepare, Boseman trained twice a day for three and a half months, following the same

techniques as the pros.

In an interview with GQ, he referred to the sessions as "madness" due to the strain such

activity places on the body.

Aside from swinging his hips and shuffling, Boseman's appearance as the Godfather of Soul,

James Brown, must have been a breeze compared to 42, right?

Wrong.

When portraying a musician as influential as Brown, the pressure is on to not only sound

the same, but to move the same, as well.

Boseman had to do the splits while filming Get On Up—not once, but 96 times.

The actor admitted that day's shooting was harder than any activity he performed as Jackie

Robinson.

Secret training

Unlike some of his fellow MCU stars, Boseman has remained tight-lipped when it comes to

divulging the secret of his regimen.

When asked by E! News prior to Civil War's release, he refused to share any inside information

for those looking to emulate his results:

"A lot of strength and flexibility, but I'm not going to say any more.

I can't say or reveal their training secrets."

Though Boseman hasn't disclosed the specifics of his workout plan, all actors in the MCU

are notoriously put through their paces, and he won't escape what Captain America himself,

Chris Evans, refers to as "absolutely brutal" sessions.

"A couple of hours a day.

And it was, it was brutal.

The tricky part was eating."

"Did you have to eat lots?"

"Just eating everything all the time."

But the key to achieving Boseman's lean physique likely lies more with classic bodybuilding

techniques, including circuit training, and a less substantial diet that still adds power

to Black Panther's claws.

While Evans needed to pack on the pounds in a short span of time, Boseman's goal of remaining

lean meant he could increase his body mass at a slower rate.

This meant an extra emphasis on cardiovascular and circuit training, to burn more calories.

For explosive movements, Boseman would focus on plyometric training, which increases power

by working on "fast twitch" muscle fibers.

Combat work likely tops it all off, with training in a variety of martial arts.

Losing muscle for Marshall

Sandwiched between performances as Black Panther, Boseman played Thurgood Marshall in the 2017

bio-pic Marshall, replacing Civil War's airport battles with clashes in the courtroom.

Understandably, Boseman would look out of place as the future Supreme Court Justice

if he maintained the mass, so to fit tailored trousers and well-fitted blazers, the actor

needed to strip away 25 pounds of hard-earned muscle.

Between the wrap on Marshall and the beginning of Black Panther's production in January 2017,

Boseman needed to recover lost muscle mass to ensure his shoulders could carry the weight

of expectation for his return as T'Challa.

With the added spotlight and increased screen time, Boseman's training regimen will presumably

have been even more intense than his Civil War workout, but the principles will remain

the same—a gradual progression of lean mass.

cytat na poniedzialek - Stefan Żeromski "Wierna rzeka" - Duration: 1:28.

Quote on Monday

Stefan Żeromski "Faithful river. Home Story"

The coldness of the entrails cooled again

- and suffering, which once along with the ax was breaking the head.

In the law of the hip, the pain was constantly struggling,

like an iron wagon hook,

pulled out.

Every now and then an inconceivable fire, unknown to a healthy body,

he flew on the back,

and the darkness, full of multicolored sparks, blinded his eyes.

The wounded guy wrapped himself up and sank into a half-sheep,

who was torn out of the soldier during the day

slaughtered in the bushes on the bank of the river.

Naked legs and bloodied hips pushed deeper into the pile of corpses,

searching for these two bodies, which are the heat of wounding wounds

they warmed him up during the night,

they buzzed with a howl and groan

from the dream of death to the grace of life.

But the other two died down,

they cooled and became equally hideous,

like a swamp covered with stubble.

Hands and legs looking for still warmth,

they were still getting wet and slippery.

Malaysia Airlines A350 - Selecting The Best Seat In Premium Economy and Economy - Business Traveller - Duration: 2:00.

(gentle music)

(upbeat music)

- [Tom] This is Malaysia Airlines Premium Economy,

it's three, three, three configuration on this A350.

Three rows of nine.

Lot of legroom here in the opening

on the first aisle rather.

That's row 12, 13 and 14.

This is Premium Economy from the back.

Or the rear of this small cabin.

This is Malaysia Airlines Economy Class.

Two cabins in economy.

Again, three, three, three like Premium Economy.

This is the rear cabin of Economy.

I guess the main Economy cabin.

A configuration of three, three, three.

You can see actually the front row,

is obviously a good place to be.

But also this little window seat here,

the people in the know,

I think that will be the one to chose.

There's one on the other side as well.

And I'll help ya, I'll tell you it's row 27,

because the front row's 26, that's row 27 and it's seat A,

so I reckon row 27A or not B, not C.

But go back over there,

and row 27 again, K, L, M,

that would be the one to go for.

What If We Could Time Travel? - Duration: 3:59.

Time travel.

A popular topic for science fiction novels and films.

At this time, we are not capable of it, but theoretically, time travel is possible.

According to paul davies, the theory of relativity implies that a limited form of time travel

is certainly possible while unrestricted time travel, to any epoch, past or future, might

just be possible too.

So what if, somehow, scientists figured out a way for humans to time travel?

How would it affect life as we know it?

Today, life's biggest questions asks, what if we could time travel?

Hello and welcome back to LBQ, I'm Charlotte Dobre.

If this is your first time on life's biggest questions, hit that subscribe button, and

let us know in the comments below what topics you are interested in seeing.

We do take suggestions seriously because at the end of the day, we want to make videos

that answer questions you have always asked about life.

Before I get into this video, I have a question for you.

If you could time travel to any time period, which would you choose?

write your responses in the comments down below.

According to einsteins theory of relativity, time travel could be possible through a wormhole.

a wormhole could act like a bridge through space time by connecting two different points

with a shortcut.

If wormholes do exist, they could technically be made into a time machine.

Lets start off by saying that if scientists finally developed a mechanism that allowed

them to time travel, not all humans would have access to it.

It would likely be extremely expensive for the average person, and one has to consider

the fact that being able to time travel could mean that you could change the past, affecting

the future.

Its likely that world governments would not want to allow just anyone to do this, because

if the ability to change the past ended up in the wrong hands, that could have catastrophic

consequences.

But if the right person travelled to the past, they could theoretically stop certain events

from happening.

Someone could go back to before the twin towers got hit on 9/11, and prevent the planes from

even taking off.

We could find out for sure who killed John F Kennedy, was it lee harvey oswald or did

he act alone?

We could go back far enough in time to find out if Jesus really existed, if moses really

parted the red sea.

Being able to go back in time to find out the validity of religions could prove extremely

problematic.

It might mean the complete shut down of religion, if the bible was proven to be false, and vis

a versa.

Perhaps you could go back and time and witness Jesus Christ rising from the dead, giving

validity to the bible.

If humans could travel to the future, they could witness technological advancements,

figure out how they work, and bring them back to the present day.

A time traveller could go 100 years into the future, find out how to cure cancer, AIDS

or Alzheimers and then bring knowledge of that cure back to the present.

Being able to travel to the future would also give us insight into what is going to happen

to the earth.

Like wars, epidemics, and natural disasters.

A time traveller could go into the future to find out how climate change would affect

the earth in the future, and whether or not we could fix the damage being done.

Being able to travel to the future would also mean having a leg up when it comes to the

stock market.

People would know about stocks rising and falling beforehand, allowing them to buy and

sell stocks to their advantage.

All of these things considered, time travel poses a problem.

If you go back in time and change the past, that affects the future.

Every event, every action sets off a different chain of events.

The ability to Time travel could create a complete mess.

As physicist paul davies put it, Time travel pens a view of the world that is a court of

madhouse where the rational order of things would no longer work.

Under those circumstances, it is very hard to see how ordinary human life could continue.

Time travel creates a paradox, where if you go back in time to, lets say, kill hitler

to prevent world war 2, if you kill hitler in the past, you wouldn't know who he was

in the future, and therefore have no reason to time travel to murder him.

Being able to time travel could be extremely dangerous.

One misstep and you could tear the fabric of spacetime and destroy humanity as we know

it.

Scientists still don't know for sure if time travel is possible.

But Thanks to Albert Einstein and his theories of relativity, we know that time slows as

moving objects approach the speed of light.

So technically, we can already consider ourselves time travellers when we take a flight to a

different time zone.

Thats the only kind of time travel we can currently experience, and maybe thats a good

thing.

I'm charlotte dobre for life's biggest questions.

Thank you so much for watching.

DAY 11 OF MY JUICE FAST GUY DONT FOR GET TO SUBSCRIBE SO YOU DON'T MISS MY WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY - Duration: 7:47.

I just went like 20 minutes or not 20 minutes but I just went on for like five

minutes and I thought it was recording and come

to find out it was not recording and that sucks um but I'm back with another

video on Monday twelve of my juice fast and what I'm gonna say after you know

all my videos is because that's the question everyone wants to know is uh

are you hungry no I'm not hungry at all I don't feel any hungry I don't wake up

hungry I I seldom we have like my stomach brows

that doesn't happen I don't feel like after I drink my juice I need to go

order a pizza the experience of a juice fast is

wonderful I would recommend anyone to do it even at least if it's three days I

mean to be honest with you and I'm not trying to insult anybody who may have

you know done a three day a three or a seven day of any kind of fast to me is

not getting the full benefits of what can happen to your body I think that

when you do I'm speaking right now for juice fast if you are to do a juice fast

you should do at least the least 21 days

before you you know just throw in the towel I can't tell you how long I'm

gonna be on my juice fast because I have like 60 I want to say four pounds to

lose so I'll be on it and try losing 64 pounds so that might take 90 to 100 days

I don't know you know I'm losing at least on average a pound or a pound and

a half a day today I lost a half a pound not quite a pound but I did lose some

tomorrow I'll probably lose a whole pound but I lose something each day

it's either pound to a half a pound a day and I'm satisfied with that I'm not

going to force it because this is rapid weight loss when you're losing from a

pack a pound to a pound a day you're losing a lot of weight I mean there's 28

to 30 days in a month so if you're losing say it's 30 days in a month a

half a pound that's 15 pounds if you're losing a pound today that's 30 pounds in

a month so you know you have to you know weigh out the pros and the cons but I

really do recommend that people do a 21-day fast I would think that that

would be better to get the full benefits of the fast I also want to save you guys

too I spotted what is the gallbladder cleanse and this was a perfect time to

do it because the gallbladder cleanses nothing but apple juice but a whole six

days and they prefer you to use fresh apple juice and I'm doing a juice fast

so I said do it now why do it when you're not even on a juice fast and then

it feels like an assignment do it while you're on a juice fast and knock it out

and do it while your body's only digesting the juice intake which means

that your body's on a break right now from solid foods it's not breaking

anything else down so it's gonna have time to break down the gall stones in

your what is it your liver and your gall bladder because it's it's on a break

right now it's not eating solid foods whatever you consume that solid it's not

break it's not breaking that food down it's taking the rest cuz you're drinking

nothing but liquids so because the fact I've been fasting on a juice fast for 12

days and seven me seen gallbladder stones on the seventh day because you

drink the apple juice for six days and then the seventh day you take this

concoction before you go to bed and then that's when all of us the gallbladder

stones are supposed to be released that didn't happen in my case I yesterday was

a full 24 hours of drinking juice I mean apple juice and I seen

gallbladder stones this morning in the school in the toilet bowl

so it's removing it before seven days because it takes like a seven day

process for them to eliminate just about half or maybe all of the stones that are

in your liver and gallbladder mess but mines release there 24 hours and that's

only because I'm not eating solid foods my body has been given a break to do

what it needs to do naturally so I'm really happy about that

and also I'm happy because I know that each day that I do a salt water flush up

into the time I have to make that olive oil and lemon juice concoction which is

supposed to loosen up the stones and when I do the salt water flush that

morning it's supposed to help lift and loose and flush out everything that

seven day I won't have that many gallbladder stones to flush out because

each day they're flushing out on its own I mean I did my first session with the

apple juice 32 ounces which is full glasses the app freshly squeezed apple

juice and then this morning 24 hours later I passed called the lattice songs

so that's great and like I said I'm losing between a pound pound and a half

a day and I will be doing a way in every Sunday so stay tuned to that and please

subscribe to the channel and support my channel I'm trying to get

to a thousand subscribers by February 19 because YouTube's doing a lot of changes

to the platform and I think that if we don't get it to a thousand smaller

channels like myself I'm not gonna be relevant until we do so please keep me

in mind to subscribe to my content and I'll be doing a video every single day

this will be an accountability video letting you guys know I haven't felt off

the bandwagon and also showing you that I am serious when I say that I'm getting

rid of this anxiety that I struggle with and this weight that I've gained so I

don't want to stay too long on this video but yes today is day 12 and yes

I'm still on my juice cleanse and I'm loving it and I'm happy in my mind is

more clear and I'm just I'm just blessed to be that strong-willed to still be

here today day 12 and telling you guys that I'm still on my own you know fast

so with that all being said please subscribe to the channel like this video

share this video make it a favorite and I'll see you in the next video bye for

now guys

Nancy Pelosi Ripped After Taking House Democrats out for Exclusi - Duration: 3:46.

Nancy Pelosi

Ripped After Taking House Democrats out for Exclusive Dinner Party as Troops Pay Price

for #SchumerShutdown

According to media reports, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) invited the 192

Democrat Members of the House of Representatives out to dinner at a fancy Italian restaurant

in Washington, D.C.

Saturday during the first day of the government shutdown

Politicos Jake Sherman was first to report on Pelosis dinner.

The Hills Scott Wong reported the menu, On the menu at Pelosis dinner at Acqua

al 2: cheeses and meats, pasta, lots of wine and for dessert cheesecake with strawberry

drizzle & tiramisu

Acqua Al 2, located blocks from the Capitol, describes itself as an authentic Italian

restaurant located in the heart of the historic Eastern Market in Washington, DC. The menu

is not cheap and not the most expensive either for D.C., but dinner for two would put a hurt

on a working couples budget with dinner entrees running from $18 to $39, not including

drinks, appetizers and dessert.

Military families blasted Pelosi for living it up while soldiers are going without due

to the shutdown.

Hi @NancyPelosi Can my @USArmy daughter go?

For some reason shes not getting a paycheck and illegals get more support from dems then

she doespersonally I think its idiotic to hold up military paychecks The play

with high explosives

Wow.

My Son in the military gets screwed and she celebrating?

What has this country coming to?

My son (deployed in Middle East) and daughter are both serving our Country, with honor,

without pay enjoy your dinner

White Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders also attacked Pelosi, as did Ashlee Strong,

National Press Secretary for Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-WI).

Sanders wrote, Nancy Pelosi is very proud Democrats shut the government down

over illegal immigration and is taking Democrats out tonight to celebrate.

Nice message to send to the brave men & women of our military and border patrol forced to

work without pay during the #DemocraticShutdown.

Strong wrote, The person who said recently that a couple thousand $$ in Americans

pockets was mere crumbs is now taking the entire D caucus to a very nice restaurant

on Capitol Hill.

Ryans Deputy Press Secretary, Molly Edwards, also chimed in, Surely this isnt true.

Surely Leader Pelosi isnt taking her grandstanding caucus to an extremely nice dinner while the

government is shut down and most of its employees are furloughed.

Right?

Former Trump administration official Dr. Sebastian Gorka commented, The Left is celebrating.

Because they love illegals.

And not our military.

SHAMEFUL

Is this the Democrats Let them eat cake moment?

Drone Crash - Who is to blame? - Duration: 5:10.

Its getting pretty chilly these days.

But it should not prevent us

to fly a couple of Lipos.

We are pretty packed.

Shen: Both!

We will see, how we can rip this place.

What should I say?

Sadly... we still have got a couple of full Lipos,

which are not able to fly, because I

unfortunatly

hit the branch..

I wanted to do a S-Split.

And...

Shen, did you see it?

Shen: No, unfortunatly I did not see it clearly.

I wanted to fly between the trees.

Right under it...

I did yaw.

I am not sure if it did it to the left or right.

Than I tried to fly straight up to do a S-Split.

Shen: I think that you got to close to the tree.

Yes, I think that I got way to close to it while getting straight up.

.. so I hit the branch.

and did not managed to control it any more.

So it fell about 10m like a stone to the ground

Shen: Means getting back earlier!

I am not sure if you can see it. There is a soldered point.

The cabel got disconnected.

Shen: So we have to get back and get it soldered.

It should fly after that.

Hopefully... after that fallen should get up in the air again.

Anyway, I hope you had some fun.

We definitely had our fun.

Thats a great spot to fly.

Shen, say cu next time.

Shen: Cu next time! Ciao!

Clean Slate Book Tag - Duration: 11:16.

Hi everyone! My name is Frede and today, I'm gonna be doing the Clean Slate Book Tag

which I was tagged in by Hélène at booksbyleynes and it was originally created by Catalyst Reads,

I'm gonna be leaving the original video as well as Hélène's video down below.

I have actually already filmed this book tag.

I think I filmed it like two or three weeks ago but I didn't like it at all when I was editing it like yesterday

because I had no time. So I'm just going to re-film it.

So yeah, it's actually kind of a beginning of the year tag but we're still in January,

so I'm gonna try to edit this today and then it should be okay.

So let's just get into the questions.

The first question is are there any genres that you're going to read more or less of in 2018?

I don't think there is anything that I want to read less but I do- I would like to read more poetry,

I read a couple of poetry collections last year and I really enjoyed them and I would like to kind of

I don't know, read some more poetry, see what else is out there.

Because that's kind of the genre that I'm still most intimidated by.

Question number two is: are there any books you have recently read that changed or challenged

some of your philosophies and beliefs?

The closest I can get to this, and this is not really something- I didn't read this recently,

I read this in June last year and it also didn't like challenge anything that I was like conviced of before,

but I took something away from it that was just kind of a perspective that I don't think I really had before,

or at least not in that way. And that is The Autobiography of Malcolm X.

What I really took away from this book I think is kind of not being so defensive when you hear something

that you kind of feel personally attacked by but not everything is about you kind of.

And that's something a lot of people do just like whenever someone says something, just a general

statement you think they are talking exactly about you.

But I think in this case with this autobiography and the way that Malcolm talks about his experiences with racism

like he doesn't sugarcoat it, it's very easy and I think that that's something that a lot of I guess well-meaning

white people do is like "oh but I'm not like that."

And I think because this is on the one hand such a long book, I think it's like 500- almost 500 pages,

and because for the majority of this book he has these very radical opinions and as I said doesn't sugarcoat it,

he's very unapologetic about his anger, I think it just kind of forces you to step- like to take a step back

and to think okay why am I feeling so defensive right now? Why can't I just listen to this person who is

talking about these terrible experiences and why can't I try to think about what position I play in this?

Even if I don't actively do anything racist, still as a white person you benefit from the system that we're in.

So I think this is really the main takeaway from this, kind of- I mean this is still something I need to work on [laughs]

But kind of just really trying to when someone says something that might be very generalising,

not immediately becoming so defensive. That was something I think I was kind of aware of before

but not that much. And now I think now that I've got this awareness of

"hm I might get a bit defensive in some situations" I think it's also helping me to work on that.

I think. So that's my answer for this question.

Question number three is who would you recommend for a newbie to watch?

Ohh there are so many people that I love watching.

I think obviously, I was tagged by Hélène and I love her videos,

so in case you watch my videos but you don't watch hers, you need to watch her videos.

They are so good. She is so passionate about literature, she really- she also doesn't sugarcoat her opinions

which I really love because there are so many people on this platform who are like

"so I didn't really like this book, but that doesn't mean that it's bad if you like this book"

so I really appreciate having someone who's like "this book was shit.

And I don't give a shit what you think about it but I thought it was shit."

Like I really, really appreciate that. So I would definitely say Hélène.

I also really enjoy watching Jennifer at Insert Literary Pun Here.

Her videos are so well thought through and her- she is so eloquent, I wish I could speak like her.

And just- I really love watching her videos so I would also recommend her.

And then- ugh there are so many people that I love,

but if you're new to this platform I would also recommend trying to find some smaller channels,

like Hélène and Jennifer both- I would still call them smaller channels but I would recommend

also trying to find people who are completely new. Just like try and look for the newbie tag,

because so many people are doing that tag. And just try to find people who are also like

only now getting into booktubing, because I think that's also a nice thing.

So I would recommend kind of a balance between some people who might be a bit bigger channels

if you love them but also trying to find some that don't have that much of a follower base I guess.

So yeah, I guess a variety of people, try and find that. That's what I would say for that question.

Question number four: Do you have a reading book bucket list?

Not really [laughs] I mean there are a lot of books that I would love to read but really a bucket list,

I don't think so.

Question number five: what is it about booktube that has surprised you the most?

I think I'm gonna go with what most people would say here

which is like the kindness and the genuine community.

Because that's not something that I've really seen online in that way.

Like I've got my kind of group of online friends who I've known for like years,

but we all kind of like different things and we just talk because we've been talking for so long.

Because back in the day we would like bond over the same bands that we used to like or something.

But apart from that, I've never really seen that many people really be so kind to each other

and just for the sake of talking about something that you really like

and not for the sake of "I want to become internet famous."

Because I think in other communities very often you also see kind of communities

and people being nice to each other,

but very often I think it's like "hi, I like this post. Do you want to follow me?" Like, it's-

I don't know. I think really the genuine being nice to each other and the genuine community, that was something

that I was not expecting [laughs]

Question number six is: What are some of your goals? Doesn't have to be just related to booktube.

When I filmed this video two or three weeks ago, I said, like answering this question,

I said I would like to be able to maintain a consistent filming and uploading schedule,

and we are now at the end of January and that hasn't really worked.

So I would like to get back to that, to really be able to film and upload consistently,

which I'm not quite sure how that's going to work because I would also like to graduate this year [laughs]

So we'll see. I would also like to actually continue with my Les Misérables series this year,

because I did one video for that last year and then just had no time whatsoever to read this book.

So I hope that once the semester is over and I'm done with like uni reading,

I will able to get back with that. So I guess that's just kind of the main thing but I would also like to be able to

communicate better with the community. Because especially lately, I have not been watching a lot,

and I have especially not been like engaging a lot with the community. So that's something I would also like to

do this year.

Question number seven is: if you could meet any writer, artist, or musician, dead or alive, who would they be?

I think for me that would be Audre Lorde. I would really love to have met her.

So I don't know, I read a lot by her last year and I just really think she was such a remarkable person

and just a person I would really love to have had a conversation with.

So obviously she's dead so that's not going to be a thing but I really, really appreciate her work

so I would have loved to meet her.

Question number eight is: would you rather have your life written by your favourite author

or be portrayed in a movie by your favourite actor or actress?

Neither [laughs]

So I don't really have like one specific favourite author,

but I think one of the people I've read most by is Stephen King.

And I wouldn't really like for Stephen King to write about my life

because he would probably make a horror story out of it and like [laughs] nah.

Like you could probably write a overdramatic and clichéd YA novel about like my life so far,

but we've got enough books of that, so that's not really something that I would like.

And then I don't really have a favourite actor. So neither for that one.

Question number nine is: what are some of the challenges you have had to overcome or would still

like to improve upon in regards to your channel?

Well I think consistency is the main thing in this.

So in summer, last summer in like August and September

I was really good at uploading like really regularly,

and just doing a lot and then uni started again and I just had no time.

So I guess that's kind of the main thing.

Because obviously, filming takes a lot of time, editing, uploading, also my videos all have closed captions

so that also takes a lot of time. Yeah so I guess that's the biggest challenge and that's something-

I think I need to be a bit more structured in my daily life in order to be able to do that.

Also- yeah. Yeah so I guess that's that.

Question number ten is: what advice would you give to someone that is thinking about

deleting their booktube channel?

I don't know, like obviously you would have different reasons for wanting to do that,

but I think I would just recommend just taking a break for a while,

doing whatever you need to do which would be the reason why you would delete the channel

in the first place. And then just see whether you miss it, whether you feel like go back to doing it

or not, and then, I don't know.

I think if it's really something you don't wanna do anymore then just don't.

Because obviously forcing yourself to do something that you don't enjoy anymore

is not really a good thing to do to yourself.

But you could also just try to do things differently and see if that works out.

And then I guess at the end of the day the decision is still up to you,

so yeah. I'm not good at giving advice, but that's my advice I guess [laughs]

So these were the ten questions of the Clean Slate Book Tag.

I'm going to tag Jessica and Christeena at GameofTomes.

In case you still want to do this although it's like- we're not really at the beginning of the year anymore,

but it case you still wanna do this, I would love to see your answers to these questions.

So yeah, thank you for watching this video and I will see you in my next one

which will hopefully be not in like three weeks again [laughs]
