are stronger, smarter and better at everything than you, or that family member who manages
to turn every conversation back around to feature them.
A study from the National Institutes of Health determined that 9.4 percent of 20- to 29-year-olds
exhibit extreme narcissism, compared with 3.2 percent of those older than 65.
This doesn't include the number of people who fall somewhere along the spectrum, but
not quite to the degree of the full diagnosis.
With such a staggering number of narcissists walking among us, how can you tell when you
are face to face, dealing with one?
Watch for these 8 signs…
#1 - They don't take responsibility.
Any type of responsibility in one's life opens them up to criticism and judgement,
and a narcissist can't handle shame or blame!
They will schedule their entire lives to avoid any situation in which they
must step up to the plate.
#2 - They avoid any 'true' emotion.
While a narcissist may say nearly anything to keep the attention on themselves, they
will go out of their way to avoid any sense of true emotion.
They hide their feelings to avoid vulnerability, but are not above playing the victim to get
their way.
#3 - They are guilty of name-dropping.
Anything that can make a narcissist look better or more important is a win in their book,
and name-dropping gives them the illusion of exactly that.
#4 - They
never apologize.
Its hard to admit when we're run, and even harder when someone has themselves convinced
that they are ALWAYS right.
Their sense of superiority lead them to believe they are better compared to those around them,
and also they would never ever stoop to confessing fault and also excusing their actions.
# 7 - They can control any discussion into being about them.
A narcissist should feel like the interest gets on them, so when a conversation diverts
far from this crucial subject they are extremely skilled at bringing it right back to a story
centered around them once again.
# 8 - Their social networks accounts include a ton of good friends, and not even a single
poor picture, they are like, amazing.
Social media site for a narcissist is about status, they wish to look comparable to they
can for as many individuals as possible.
It's a method to brag up their 'ideal' life as well as appear extremely popular at the
same time!

But before she was able to explain, the girl who accused everyone of lying kissed Doopie.

Spincess barely knew the girl, so she was surprised when Tolop didn't slap that girl.

They would each try to touch Tolop's hair as much as they possibly could.
Eventually, the other girl moved away... so Spincess basically won by default.

It was a pretty standard birthday party.
The birthday girl was known for doing some weird things.
So when Snewpee was walking around just saying hi to her friends, the birthday girl walked

She wanted to have a competition as to who could get undressed the fastest, which Snewpee
hesitated about but eventually agreed to.
When she said go, they quickly began to take their clothes off.
Snewpee won and Birthday Girl got upset.
From that day forward, Snewpee was really competitive about quickly taking her clothes

She grew out of it after a year because she realized it was stupid, but she was still
proud of it.

�Jaw-dropping� Text Message By FBI Agent Suggests No Trump Collusion With Russia
And the hits just keep on coming.
Just hours after we reported that according to the latest batch of text messages between
anti-Trump FBI investigators, a �secret society of folks� within the DOJ and the
FBI may have come together in the �immediate aftermath� of the 2016 election to undermine
President Trump, another blockbuster text message appears to have emerged.
Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson, the chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental
Affairs Committee, said in a radio interview that the FBI�s top agent on the Trump-Russia
investigation, Peter Strzok, sent what Johnson called a �jaw-dropping� text message last
year that suggests he saw no evidence of Trump campaign collusion.
As first reported by the Daily Caller�s Chuck Ross, in an interview with WISN-Milwaukee
radio host Jay Weber, Johnson read aloud a May 19, 2017 text that Strzok sent to Lisa
Page, an FBI lawyer and his mistress.
As Weber summarized, �Sen Ron Johnson tells me he�s discovered a text from Peter Strzok
2 days after the Mueller investigation in which he questions whether he wants to be
part of it because he believes �there�s nothing there�.
No collusion.�
The Strozk text verbatim on joining the Mueller investigation: May 19th, 2017- �You and
I both know the odds are nothing.
If I thought it was likely, I�d be there no question.
I hesitate in part because of my gut sense and concern that there�s no big there there.�
Here is the �jawdropping� text message that Strzok wrote just two days after Mueller
was named special counsel for the Russia Investigation:

Sen Ron Johnson drops a bombshell on The Jay Weber Show
Johnson said that the text referred to the Mueller investigation, which had kicked off
two days earlier.
Strzok joined that team, but was removed in July after the Justice Department�s inspector
general discovered his anti-Trump text exchanges with Page.
As the FBI�s deputy counterintelligence chief, Strzok had been picked in July 2016
to oversee the investigation into possible Trump campaign collusion with the Russian
government; in other words the text message came almost one year after the anti-Trump
FBI agent had already done preliminary work on whether there was any Trump collusion.
Prior to that, he was a top investigator on the Clinton email inquiry.
�I think that�s kind of jaw-dropping,� said Johnson, a Republican, said of the Strzok
text.
�In other words, Peter Strzok, who was the FBI deputy assistant director of the counterintelligence
division, the man who had a plan to do something because he just couldn�t abide Donald Trump
being president, is saying that his gut sense is that there�s no big there there when
it comes to the Mueller special counsel investigation,� Johnson explained.
This particular text message was included in 400 pages of text messages exchanged between
Strzok and Page.
Lawmakers have started reviewing the trove of documents for evidence of anti-Trump and
pro-Clinton bias as part of an ongoing investigation.
Yesterday AG Jeff Sessions announced that the DOJ was also beginning an investigation
into the months of missing text message that the FBI had failed to preserve.
Johnson also addressed the revelation last Friday that the FBI �failed to preserve�
five months worth of text messages exchanged between Strzok and Page.
A Justice Department official told Johnson�s committee and five other congressional panels
that a �misconfiguration� issue caused �many� FBI-issued mobile devices to not
back up to the bureau�s servers.
In a shocking disclosure late last week the FBI said it did not have text messages for
Strzok and Page for the period between Dec. 14, 2016 and May 17, 2017 � the day that
Mueller was appointed.
Johnson said that Congress needs to see the missing text messages because Strzok and Page
were �completely unguarded in their communication.�
�So we�re getting insight into exactly what is happening inside the FBI at the highest
levels.
And who knows who else they might implicate in terms of corruption,� he said.
Meanwhile the question of just who was obstructing justice � Trump or the FBI and the DOJ � is
becoming increasingly more pressing with each passing day.
FBI Agents Discussed �Secret Society� Within DOJ And FBI Working To Undermine Trump
Congressional investigators learned from a new batch of text messages between anti-Trump
FBI investigators that a �secret society of folks� within the Department of Justice
and the FBI may have come together in the �immediate aftermath� of the 2016 election
to undermine President Trump, according to Rep. John Ratcliffe (R-TX) who has reviewed
the texts.
The new texts were included in a 384-page DOJ document release to Congressional investigators
last Friday � during which Congress was notified in the cover letter that that five
months of text messages from December 14, 2016 to May 17, 2017 have gone missing (If
only the NSA had copies).
Ratcliffe was joined by Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) to discuss the latest developments with Fox
News host Martha McCallum, when Ratcliffe said:
What we learned today in the thousands of text messages that weve reviewed that perhaps
they may not have done that (checked their bias at the door).
There�s certainly a factual basis to question whether or not they acted on that bias.
We know about this insurance policy that was referenced in trying to prevent Donald Trump
from becoming president.
We learned today from information that in the immediate aftermath of his election that
there may have been a secret society of folks within the Department of Justice and the FBI
to include Page and Strzok to be working against him.
Rep. Gowdy deflected a question over a second special counsel, but mentioned �a text about
not keeping texts,� and �more manifest bias against President Trump all the way through
the election into the transition,� and finally Gowdy said he saw a text that �Director
Comey was going to update the President of the United States about an investigation�
which would have been Obama � and may, Gowdy speculates, have been about the Trump team.
Regarding the �secret society,� Gowdy said �You have this insurance policy in
Spring 2016, and then the day after the election, what they really didn�t want to have happen,
there is a text exchange between these two FBI agents, these supposed to be fact-centric
FBI agents saying, �Perhaps this is the first meeting of the secret society.� So
I�m going to want to know what secret society you are talking about, because you�re supposed
to be investigating objectively the person who just won the electoral college.
So yeah � I�m going to want to know.�
As we have been reporting over the last two days, the FBI �lost� five months of text
messages between anti-Trump FBI agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.
The explanation for the gap was �misconfiguration issues related to rollouts, provisioning,
and software upgrades that conflicted with the FBI�s collection capabilities.�

The missing texts conveniently span the period between Dec. 14, 2016 and May 17, 2017 � the
day Robert Mueller was appointed to take over the FBI�s probe of alleged Trump-Russia
collusion, and during the period in which the FBI would ostensibly have been hard at
work on their �insurance policy� against a Trump victory � and during the period
in which the �secret society� Rep. Ratcliffe referred to would have been hard at work.
A controversy also emerged following the revelation over the missing �textgate� � in that
the DOJ�s internal investigative unit, the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) wrote
a letter in December of last year specifically stating that they had obtained text messages
from Strzok and Page covering the �missing� period revealed last Friday.

Alas, it appears the Inspector General Michael Horowitz made this statement in error, as
Attorney General Jeff Sessions said in a Monday statement that Horrowitz was in fact the one
who �discovered the FBI�s system failed to retain text messages for approximately
5 months,� which was confirmed by Fox News.
A Justice Department spokesperson told Fox News that the Departments Office of Inspector
General also does not have any text messages between the two during that time period.
Not to worry � the DOJ, known for its honesty, will leave �no stone unturned.�
DOJ Begins Probe Of �Missing� Anti-Trump FBI Texts, �Will Leave No Stone Unturned�
Following the not entirely surprising news at the end of last week that The FBI �failed
to preserve� five months of text messages between various anti-Trump agents, Attorney
General Jeff Sessions revealed today that the department of justice has launched a full
investigation into this debacle.
More than 50,000 texts were exchanged between the two FBI officialswho have come under fire
for exchanging anti-Trump messages during the 2016 election.
�The FBI has informed [the Department of Justice] that many FBI-provided Samsung 5
mobile devices did not capture or store text messages due to misconfiguration issues related
to rollouts, provisioning, and software upgrades that conflicted with the FBI�s collection
capabilities.�
The #2 counterintelligence official at the FBI sent 50,000 texts to his mistress on an
unsecure phone while pretending to be very worried about Russian hacking attempts and
�kompromat� on Trump.
But, in another comedic twist, when asked Monday whether the FBI �failed to preserve�
text message records on similar �Samsung 5� devices belonging to any other FBI officials
during that time period, the FBI told Fox News they had �no comment�.
In other words, according to the FBI, it was Samsung�s fault thousands of text message
in an especially sensitive period went missing.
Incidentally, during the window of missing text messages, a lot happened: Trump took
the oath of office; National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, whom Strzok interviewed, was
fired; the controversial anti-Trump dossier was published; the president fired FBI Director
James Comey; and special counsel Mueller was appointed to investigate Russian meddling
and potential collusion with Trump campaign associates during the 2016 presidential election.
Certainly a �very convenient� period of time in which all potentially incriminating
text messages would suddenly disappear�
�The loss of records from this period is concerning because it is apparent from other
records that Mr. Strzok and Ms. Page communicated frequently about the investigation,� Johnson
wrote in a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray over the weekend, as we reported previously,
requesting more information and questioning whether the FBI had done a thorough search
on non-FBI devices belonging to Strzok and Page during that period.
And it was a lot: the two agents exchanged at least 25,000 text message a year or approximately
70 text message per day!
This immediately prompted some to ask just what was the logic:
The #2 counterintelligence official at the FBI sent 50,000 texts to his mistress on an
unsecure phone while pretending to be very worried about Russian hacking attempts and
�kompromat� on Trump.
�We will leave no stone unturned to confirm with certainty why these text messages are
not now available to be produced and will use every technology available to determine
whether the missing messages are recoverable from another source.
�If we are successful, we will update the congressional committees immediately.�
Sessions added that:
�I have spoken to the Inspector General and a review is already underway to ascertain
what occurred and to determine if these records can be recovered in any other way.�
�If any wrongdoing were to be found to have caused this gap, appropriate legal disciplinary
action measures will be taken.�
Below is the full statement by the US Attorney General, highlights ours:
�Six congressional committees made a request to the Department ofJustice for FBI text messages
between two FBI employees from July 1, 2015 to July 28, 2017, which the Department agreed
to produce as quickly as possible.
The Inspector General has been reviewing these texts based on �allegations that Department
or FBI policies or procedures were not followed�and that certain underlying investigative decisions
were based on improper considerations.� The Department of Justice agreed to produce
those records as quickly as possible.
After reviewing the voluminous records on the FBI�s servers, which included over 50,000
texts, the Inspector General discovered the FBI�s system failed to retain text messages
for approximately 5 months between December 14, 2016 to May 17, 2017.
�The Department apprised the congressional committees of the missing text messages on
Friday in the transmittal letter when providing the available text messages to them.
I have spoken to the Inspector General and a review is already underway to ascertain
what occurred and to determine if these records can be recovered in any other way.
If any wrongdoing were to be found to have caused this gap, appropriate legal disciplinary
action measures will be taken.
�We will leave no stone unturned to confirm with certainty why these text messages are
not now available to be produced and will use every technology available to determine
whether the missing messages are recoverable from another source.
If we are successful, we will update the congressional committees immediately.�
Session�s statement suggests that contrary to earlier disclosures and speculation, the
Inspector General was never in possession of the emails.
An OIG spokesperson declined to comment to Fox News.
�The claim that five months of critical evidence went missing due to a technical glitch
is really hard to take at face value,� a source from the House Permanent Select Committee
on Intelligence told Fox News on Monday, leaving the door open for that committee to also launch
a formal inquiry with the FBI.
Then there is the question of why did the FBI disclose this gap only now: a source on
one committee in receipt of the new text messages told Fox News it was �outrageous� that
the FBI had not previously indicated the five-month gap in messages existed.
The source said it was incumbent on the FBI to prove that the missing texts do not constitute
�obstruction� of congressional oversight or �destruction of evidence.�
As a reminder, last month, the DOJ released hundreds of text messages between Strzok and
Page, both of whom served briefly on Mueller�s team, with Page leaving over the summer and
Strzok being reassigned late last year to the FBI�s human resources division after
the discovery of the exchanges with Page.
Many of the texts revealed a clear anti-Trump and pro-Clinton bias, and included discussions
of the Clinton email investigation.
�We need to get to the bottom of it and find out what exactly happened,� Rep. Jim
Jordan, R-Ohio, said Monday on Fox News� �Outnumbered Overtime.�
Jordan said Monday that the lapse in documents is reminiscent of the mysterious disappearance
of emails from former IRS official Lois Lerner during the Obama-era IRS/Tea Party targeting
scandal.
Lerner�s emails disappeared during congressional investigations.
�The Lerner thing was huge,� Jordan told The Daily Caller.
�My gut tells me this is probably bigger.�

Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C., said the need for a second special counsel was �abundantly
clear now.�

YOUTUBE DO'S AND DON'T| ADVICE FOR SMALL OR BEGINNER YOUTUBERS - Duration: 16:23.
Hey YouTube family! It's ya girl Lia. Today's video is just a part of my
youtube small YouTube because I see myself still as a small youtuber even
though my number may not reflect the smallest of youtubers in my heart and
in my soul I still present myself as a small youtuber. It's part of my small
youtuber advice series. Now I started the series because I get so many questions
in my videos about how I've been able to remain consistent and consistently grow
my channel over the last year. Having started this year out with less than 300
subscribers and now ending 2017 with over fourteen thousand subscribers. It's
crazy and it's amazing so if you're one of my subscribers and you're watching
this video thank you so much for supporting me through everything
throughout this year but this video is geared towards other content creators
who are looking for do's and don'ts of being a small and growing youtuber. Now
this is a part of my series. So if you guys at the end of the series have any
questions leave them down below. I'm gonna do a frequently asked questions
video at the end of the series just to kind of answer all you guys'
questions cuz I know you'll have questions down below. And I may not be
able to actually type them out and give you guys a response.
Some of you guys's questions may be very similar to other questions and I don't
want to kind of repeat myself. Just keep watching if you want to see my top 10
do's and don'ts. So number one Do do highlight what the video is about in the
thumbnail. Now what I mean by that and it may seem very obvious but you don't know
how many videos that I see that have a thumbnail like this. So this is the
thumbnail and it's like a October favourites video. Just you know just me
standing right here with my face. You don't know what one of my favorites is
you don't know what's going on in the video.
It just says October Favorites. So you know right here this is the thumbnail
and there's nothing wrong with it. Face is beat hair is laid. I look good in the
thumbnail but it's not presenting to your audience what the video is about. So
what I would say present your thumbnail give them a little taste. Give them a
little treat. Give them a little bit of a you know flair this is what they can
expect type of thing. You know that's why we have movie trailers. You give them a
little taste of it without giving away too much. So you entice them to watch the
video. So if I was doing a favorites video I would actually hold up some of
the products. Some of the products I've really been
loving so that the audience can connect and say hey she's loved this product I
love that product too. Let me see what hope she loves. It gives him a taste. So
if I ordered Modern Renaissance or Jaclyn Hill palatte is one of my
favorites. I would you know take the thumbnail. So the normal October
favorites bit thin. But then highlight around me what my favorites were in the
thumbnail. So you can kind of get a gauge of what to expect in the video. You know
make sure you your thumbnail indicates clearly what your video is about because
that's the first indication. I'm a picture person I look at pictures more
than I do words and that's how a majority people are. They look at your
thumbnail saying oh that captivates me I want to see more. So many people think
the words mean a lot. I could put up blah blee bloo bloo bloo but have a bomb
thumbnail and that can get a lot of views. So make sure your thumbnail is your
first representation. Think about your tiles too you want that to be key but
thumbnails are so important. And that takes me into number two don't just rock out
with random you know still from the video as your thumbnail. Make sure you
take an actual thumbnail photo. So for this video I'm probably gonna have an
actual actual thumbnail photo that's not gonna be me doing like this or me
you know midway talking in the video. I a thumbnail that kind of shows what
the video is about. Words are gonna be here somewhere. If you saw the thumbnail
and you clicked the thumbnail of the video thank you make sure you subscribed so you
can stay apart of the family. But it's something about it drew you in and
that's how is. It has to be captivating. The colors have to be bright. You know
flashy words have to be on there. So make sure that you keep a thumbnail and you keep
that in mind. I know I have my top two being thumbnail related but I can't
stress how important they are to your channel and for your channel growth.
Number three and this may sound shocking and so many people but bear with me.
Don't accept products that don't represent your brand even early on. And
what I mean by that is on this channel you won't see me and you guys if you
knew me if you saw my email I can't bombarded with emails from people
wanting to send me different things. Whether it's watches. Whether it's the
glasses. Whether it's bundles of hair but those don't represent my brand.
I don't wear bundles. I don't do sew-ins. My mom is like why don't you get the
bundle get the bundles. I'm like not gonna review the bundles. I recently
got an email for flat tummy tea and I was like have I made it to that level am I
a tea Instagram model right now. Like is that me. I get teeth whitening kits
all these things that don't represent my brand. So I'm not gonna come on here and
do a bundles review because I don't wear bundles. I'm not gonna come on here and
review a watch when I don't wear jewelry. If you guys ever notice in my videos I
don't wear jewelry like this. I wear this one ring and I never wear a jewelry like that. I
hardly ever have earrings on. So I'm not gonna represent any jewelry because that's
not who I am as a person. I'm gonna do glasses because I don't wear a glasses
ever. So I wear sunglasses but I'm not gonna come on here
and do a review on these types of things because they don't represent my brand. I
get that we're growing and we need stuff as content but sometimes sitting in
front of a camera. My highest-rated video is me sitting
right here on these steps have over 100,000 views just talking to you guys.
Not holding up products not doing any of that and us having a conversation about
my thoughts on crochet hair. That's it. It's true to my brand. It's who I am as a
channel and that's how I base my channel and I'm not stepping out of myself. So
not saying that you can't do it. If you wear it. If you wear jewelry and you want a watch
get the watch do a review on it. But if your audience isn't used to
something like that they're gonna see a video like that and it'd be like oh so
we're doing sponsorships for flat tummy teas now. That's where she is on
her channel. No that's not where I am and that's why I won't do that kind content.
Number four do have a post schedule. Definitely have a post schedule. Now I
didn't have one early on. I think just within this year. My year of growth that
I have this year I started posting on an actual schedule. So I would just post
whenever I had a video ready like here we go it is Wednesday at 2 p.m.
guess that videos going live right now. Don't do that. So I post on Monday,
Wednesday, Friday. That's my routine. That's my schedule that's when my
audience knows I'm coming to you with some content .Now so many people think
well I have a video ready at Saturday at 1 p.m. your audience isn't expecting
that so you may not get the traction that you have right off bat not
everybody has that notification bell on. So many of my subscribers out there
thank you so much I've turned that bell on but so many people out there have
not. So they're not expecting. Next time they're on YouTube maybe you know a day
later and like oh she posted a video 24 hours ago for that's new for her let me
check it out now. You're missing all those 24 hour 48 hours
views. The first 28 to 48 hours of your video being live is a very important
time. It's where you get a lot of your views and then sometimes if you notice
when your chart they go down afterwards. You want to catch your
audience at the peak time for posting. So having a routine if my audience knows
I'm coming every Monday and Wednesday at 7 p.m.
they're gonna expect ok it's around 7. Let's get on YouTube and see what Talia
has ready. Not even if they don't have their post notifications on they can
still see okay that's her normal time so should be coming up any minute now. So
making sure that you get that audience within that first 24 hours to 48 hours
is key and your audience knowing when you're actually gonna post is very much
so key and essential as well. Number 5 I can't stress this enough but have great
lighting. Lighting is essential. Lighting is key. Lighting is something that
I don't think not too many people think about. So right now what made me
choose the bottom of my stairs cuz I get so many questions like why do you film
here. I have so many areas up in my house that I could essentially use. I have
upstairs I have my own bedroom. I used to film a little stuff in my
bathroom. I have a beauty room. I own two bedrooms out of this house on my own
that I could actually use for filming but they have terrible lighting. They
face this way they face a tree a tree is blocking the view. Sun doesn't come in.
This is the most sunny spot of this house and that's why I film here
because I believe in lighting. You would think I have lighting system behind me I
don't. That window is my lighting system. I have my door open right here and I
have another window my doors open right here and I have another window um right
there. So I have a three-point kind of lighting system but I don't have
external lighting. It's 12:00 noon here as I'm filming right now. So I'm using
the lighting that I have kind of available to me. And that being this just
light and then these lighting right here. I can't stress enough how important
lighting is to kind of bringing your content delivering your content. You have
to have great light and present great lighting out here in order to show
actual products. You don't know how often I hate I hate seeing someone do a makeup
tutorial I'm going to dim the lights right now for you and they're using it
and they're showing you and they're like I wish you guys could see the product. I
wish you could see the pigmentation I wish you could see the color. I want to
do a swatch right now for you. Oh I wish you could see how much that it. They
could if you just worked on your lighting. My camera
cheap-cheap 240 something dollar I say it in every video you would think I used
very expensive 4k camera. I don't. My camera was two hundred and something dollars on Amazon.
lawn it's the same sign and next mini camera I love it but it's not the most
exquisite but you can still see the vibrancy of my things you can see my
lips up pop in your skin really my highlight is like glowing and it's a
camera that's not expensive so you don't have to have expensive equipment you
don't have to have anything outside of the natural sunlight but to be in front
of natural sunlight I hate seeing somebody in the darkest room of their
house trying to do a makeup aren't you and I can't see the product it's like
how do you expect when we have youtubers out here like makeup Shayla Jackie Ines
we have people out here in the makeup world who have all this expensive
equipment and they can grow their subscribers every day because they can
show their audience their products how do we expect grow definitely keep and be
aware of that so you don't have to have expensive lights but you just need to be
in a well-lit area number six don't don't compare yourself to other
youtubers absolutely I think that goes without saying
but so many times I even catch myself doing it to where I'm in the same leaf
and the same family as somebody who makes the same at that kindness that I
do but they're growing at a different rate than I am a faster rate and I'm
always like why stop stop dude don't check that social blade
sexual braid has been my nightmare I used to go in there all the time say
well how does she kid like 15 15 subscribers every day like what am I
doing wrong what am i doing no it hurts your channel it's not the comparison and
you will grow like if you stop focusing on the numbers it's really when it
happens I don't check my analytics every single day I actually don't even check
it every single week probably ain't do better at it I might see some down
arrows and get depressed and start saying what am I doing wrong
well what does somebody else doing don't look at the numbers and you definitely
can't grow just focus more so on the content what you're putting out numbers
comparisons don't work if you're actually putting out good content but
other people don't really matter number seven oh I'm gonna step on some toes
here but bear with me on this one so sorry don't come out the gate very
early on your first 10 videos and make them all 50 minute video 50 minute
blocks 50 minute makeup tutorials 50 minute anything 50 minutes is a long
time it's almost an hour of content and just because YouTube allows us to upload
such a long content doesn't mean we should doesn't mean we should utilize
that so what I mean by that is think about audience retention audience
retention is very important a very key to our channel so say you upload 50
minute video but your audience retention is an average of about 3 minutes
YouTube looks like that they're looking at that and saying okay so she has 50
minute videos her audience retention is what 3 minutes that means they're
watching about 6 percent of her video we're not gonna recommend somebody who
audience is only watching 6% of their channel the thing about YouTube is half
the audience retention is something that YouTube looks at to determine whether
they're gonna recommend us if we can keep somebody engaged so right now this
video I'll say it's probably 18 minutes if I can keep somebody here for 16 15
minutes that's amazing if I could only keep you here for one
minute YouTube is like what's she doing do you know what something wrong let's
not recommend this person because she cannot retain an audience and that's
what it is when you're first rolling if you make a 15 minute video on vlog video
and you're doing your normal I people don't know who you are so they mean
first 1 minute of your video and if they had what is she doing I don't know her
I'm gonna click off I'm gonna click off I'm gonna cook off all those click offs
are really hurting me now if somebody's watching all 50 minutes of your video
that's a plus and that's what you want but so early on they're not watching the
long length of your channel and your videos that's what I first determined I
had so many like 20 minute videos early on in my channel people won't only watch
2 minutes of it and it would hurt my retention so I started making my videos
a lot shorter a lot of concise and maybe down to 6 or 5 minutes my waiting
reviews have gotten so much shorter my foundation reviews have gotten so much
shorter because I notice that you know I want to keep people engaged for the
longest amount of time in my videos being shorter I can engage people a lot
longer so that's something to be aware number 8 I think it goes without saying
no new sub4sub don't come on this video right now and
saying check me out I subscribe to you now
subscribe to me does not work you wanna grow your channel will not be the
channel that you want it to be based on that so just keeping in mind I think
that goes without saying I don't have to say that in every video but I feel like
I need to because so many people think I'm different I'm gonna be the one who
throws because of it you're not number 9 it is essential to set goals like I said
earlier on in this video I set a goal for myself in the beginning of 2017 that
I wanted to have a thousand subscribers and clearly I've grown a lot more than
that but having that initial goal and knowing that I was pushing towards that
was really so much too essential and me in the earlier so as we are now in early
2018 I think as I'm uploading it we're at the end of 2017 as I'm filming this
but we're in we're in the beginning of 2018 make sure you set your goals now
even though it may not be the first day of 2018 screenshot you're subscribing
your views right now and make sure you just you have it but as well as you're
setting goals and how you're gonna maintain it so whether that be okay so
I'm gonna do this and I want to be at you know 2,000 subscribers by the end of
the year don't just say it that works with it faith without works it does not
work number 10 I think it goes really into what I just said number 10 do
remain consistent on your channel definitely have a consistency level
there's so many people I see and it hurts me that they post a video three
months ago and they come back today and they post a video and it's been three
months and then they go into some part of so many YouTube groups support groups
online they're always like why am I not going like I'm posting a video like once
every three months why am I not growing you you entered in a minute ago you're
not consistent people watch TV shows because they're know they're coming back
every week we know scandals coming back every Thursday we know Game of Thrones
comes back every Sunday even though it's you know years and years from now we
know Walking Dead comes back every Sunday
we know weed is scheduled for our TV shows if we didn't know we wouldn't be
as invested if you know how to get away when it came on one Thursday is Sean and
never said at the end it's coming back next Thursday she just said hope you
enjoyed it maybe you'll be back in three weeks maybe back in five weeks I don't
know who knows when you're gonna see us next hope you enjoyed
nobody will watch a show like that and so that's how you have to look at your
YouTube channel make sure audience knows you're actually coming
back so they can actually subscribe I nobody's gonna get invested in a channel
that they don't know if they're ever gonna see that person again nobody's
gonna watch your blog if they don't know if you're gonna vlog again for another
three to four months and they're never never gonna see your life again so you
make sure you get your own audience invested by making sure that you make
yourself presentable as somebody who's gonna be a constant in their life nobody
wants to absentee father who's gonna come in and then slide out whenever
whenever he feels like it no no no think of your audience as your it's part of
your family and making sure that you stay connected with your family whenever
you can so whatever consistency looks like for you whether it's one video a
week I would say one video a week at men if you can only do one video every two
weeks that's good and that's fine as well just make sure your thing on a
level consistency that works for you in your channel Annie
