DIY Cream Highlighter/How to Make Your own Highlighter at Home/INDIANGIRLCHANNEL TRISHA - Duration: 3:59.

In today's video i will show all of you, how to make DIY Highlighter at home. I have already applied it in my cheek bones and you can see how shiny and beautiful it is looking.So without wasting any time let's see how to make this highlighter.

For making this highlighter you will need either a eye shadow or a shimmer or a glitter. You can use any one of them. But I prefer using eye shadow because it has very fine particles and it blends easily with the skin and it looks natural.

I have an Essence eye shadow which was completely destroyed when i dropped it. So today i will recycle this eye shadow to make the DIY Highlighter.

The colour of this eye shadow is pinkish silver but you can use any colour you like. Especially the golden brown colour looks fabulous on Indian skin tone. So if you have the golden brown colour you can use it or you can use a mix of various colours. Whichever colour you like you can use it to make the highlighter.

Now i am taking a small zip lock packet and putting the eye shadow inside it.

Now i am crushing the bigger chunks of the eye shadow to convert it into fine powder.

Now add 8-10 drops of Glycerin in it. Glycerin will help this highlighter to stick to your skin.

For making the base of the highlighter, i am adding foundation which matches my skin tone.

Now mix all the ingredients like this. If you want you can add more foundation or more eye shadow depending upon the consistency of the highlighter that you require.

Now i am rolling the plastic bag like this so that all the mixture goes down to the bottom of the bag.

After this you need a clean container to store this highlighter. Now cut one corner of the plastic bag and pour all the mixture into the clean container and store it.

I have mixed all the ingredients in the plastic bag to avoid making a mess and so that the mixture can be easily poured into a container.

You can easily store this Highlighter for 1-2 months at room temperature.

Now i am applying 3-4 dots of this highlighter in my cheek bones and using the dabbing motion i am blending it perfectly with my skin.

You can see how natural looking this highlighter is. And if you use more highlighter, it will look much more shinier than this. It is completely dependent upon you to use a lit bit or more highlighter.

I am using a little bit of this homemade Highlighter in my hand, so that you can see how well this DIY Highlighter is reflecting light from the skin.

N. Korea's inspection team starts three-day trip to South Korea - Duration: 2:14.

Another inspection team from Pyongyang is in the nation for a 3-day visit.

First they looked around the sporting venues in Gangneung... one of the host cities for

the winter games.

The delegation from Seoul meanwhile, returned home after completing a check up of the facilities

up North.

Ji Myung-kil starts us off with the ongoing Olympic preparations by the two Koreas.

A North Korean delegation of eight members led by Yun Yong-bok,... the deputy director

general of Pyongyang's sports ministry, arrived in South Korea for a three-day visit on Thursday

morning.

The delegation was joined by the North's 15-member ice hockey team.

They used the western land route to cross the border and enter South Korea.

The North Korean delegation spent the first day of their visit in Gangneung where they

checked out the Inje Speedium hotel which will be used as accommodation for the North's

cheering squad.

They also looked around the Gangneung Ice Arena, which will be used for figure skating

and short track speed skating.

Two North Korean athletes will be competing in the short track speed skating.

The delegation also visited the athletes village and the Kwandong Hockey Center.

On Friday,... they will move to Pyeongchang to check out the press center, the PyeongChang

Olympic Stadium, the slopes of the Alpensia resort for cross-country skiing and the Yongpyong

ski resort.

On Saturday... they are expected to inspect accommodation facilities in Seoul for the

30-member taekwondo demonstration team, as well as the concert hall in one of Seoul's

broadcasting stations.

They are expected to head back to North Korea in the afternoon.

Meanwhile, South Korea's twelve-member inspection team returned home from their three-day visit

to North Korea using the eastern land route.

They inspected several venues,... including joint ski training at the Masikryong Ski Resort

near the eastern town of Wonsan.

They also inspected facilities on Mount Kumgang for a joint cultural event and the Kalma Airport

to see whether the airport can be used to fly in non-Olympic South Korean skiers to

the North Korean ski resort.

What Happens When You Fast? | A Daily Little Lesson - Duration: 8:19.

What happens when you fast?

Hi, welcome to today's Little Lesson.

On our previous Little Lesson, we were talking initially about fasting and looking at the

fact that it is a biblical practice, something that every Christian should do, just like

they should pray and just like they should obey any of the Lord's commandments.

Jesus said, "When you fast here's what you should do," not if you fast, but when you

fast.

So I gave a little bit of a preliminary introductory information on our previous broadcast.

I just want to go a little bit deeper into it in this edition of Little Lessons because

I think there might be more to say and there might be more interest.

When you stop eating food, your body says, "Oh, my goodness.

What are you doing?"

Because it's used to taking what you give it and what it digests and turning that into

glucose and streaming it through your bloodstream.

And when your body realizes you're not going to get any food to the stomach, it says, "I

got to get something some other way," and it begins to then burn fat cells.

And fasting is a great way to lose weight quickly.

Trouble is when you do it that way, you often gain it back pretty fast when you break your

fast.

I'm not recommending fasting, an extended fast, as a means of losing weight.

Although, it's become quite popular the idea of intermittent fasting when just on a regular

basis once or twice a week you fast the whole day.

And that has proven to be a wonderful way for people to lose weight.

So you're thinking about the weight loss benefits, maybe you should check into that.

But your body starts burning fat, because it has to it has to have the energy to keep

all the organs going.

It's really an interesting kind of feeling.

Your stomach shrinks, you feel those hunger pains, they kind of ebb and flow, come and

go.

And by the time you get to the third day, your stomach says, "Okay, I get it.

You're not going to give me any food."

Your stomach has shrunken to a degree and it's kind of shut down.

And that's why when you break a fast, you have to be cautious.

You can't eat a big meal after several days fast because your stomach's smaller.

You just find, "Oh, my goodness, I'm satiated so much quicker as I break my fast."

Because your stomach hasn't been functioning as it normally does when you break your fast.

That's why it's important to break your fast very, very gradually and very carefully by

giving it very easy things to digest.

Easier to digest fruits, for example, is something or diluted apple juice.

And that gets your stomach realizing, "Oh, okay, food's coming down so we need to start

kicking in here."

I've heard stories that people who were starved in concentration camps and so forth, and when

they were liberated, gorged on food, actually died from it because their bodies couldn't

handle the input of such quantities of food and such difficult foods to digest so quickly.

So be very, very cautious.

The longer you fast, the more cautious that you need to be when you break your fast.

Another way to fast is just to delay breakfast.

And there are nutritionists who are advocating that that's actually a good thing for weight

control and so forth because your body, once it's digested the food and processed the food

and turned it into glucose to feed the cells of your body, once there's no food and that

glucose flow shuts down, the body naturally then begins to break down the fat cells to

use those for fuel.

And if you haven't eaten since dinner time and you skipped breakfast, well, you're past

the glucose phase at that point in time and there's nothing to digest and nothing to give

your body energy, and so your body will begin to naturally kick into living off of the fat

cells that have been accumulated in your body.

Most all of us have a little bit of that.

And it is surmised by some that that's actually healthy, healthier, than normal breakfast,

lunch, dinner type thing.

That our ancestors would be much more accustomed to that kind of eating cycle.

That eating wasn't as quite as regular as it always has been.

And so I'm not going to try to defend that either way, but I have certainly noticed that

it's easier for me to control my weight when I delay my breakfast till later in the morning,

or till lunchtime, and just have two meals a day, rather than three meals a day.

Okay?

I personally have never fasted longer than about six days.

And if you're going to fast longer than a couple of days, you're not going to be able

to do yard work and do any kind of physical manual labor.

Most people anyway would testify that, because you just feel like you're drained of energy.

And as I've studied the subject of fasting over the years, again, I can't find a Bible

verse for this, but I certainly have observed this in people who have fasted for the first

time.

They say that when you fast that your body says, "Oh, great.

We're not going to have to use up all this energy digesting food, so let's go to work

in fixing some things that need some repair, and let's purge the body of some things that

have accumulated within the fat cells that need to get out of here."

Because we're all kind of like waste dumps in a sense.

All the stuff that comes into our bodies through the processed foods that we eat and through

the air that we breathe.

And so it's a cleansing, purging thing, a very, very healthy thing for your body as

toxins and other things are purged your body.

So you get horrible breath.

Of course, your bowels have stopped moving and you need to, of course, keep urinating

because you're going to keep on drinking, but that becomes more pure as time goes on.

And people who are fasting the first time, that can be very, very rough because you're

breaking addictions to caffeine and so forth, you get headaches, and toxins are being released

and so forth.

So it can be very miserable for the first time fasting.

But here's the encouragement.

You keep on doing it on somewhat of a regular basis, once a week, once a month, whatever,

and you find it gets easier each time and you don't have nearly the severity of rough

symptoms that you did at first.

Okay?

Here's a little final tip.

The harder it is for you to fast, it could be said the more important it is that you

do fast, and as you practice it and it gets easier, you're very likely to become a healthier

person.

Korea's finance minister Kim Dong-yeon has said that the government is considering imposing

taxes on virtual currency transactions to cope with the sudden investment craze in the

market.

During a meeting at the National Assembly on Thursday, Kim pointed out the problem of

speculation by investors, adding that the government is yet to release a set of measures

to stabilize the issue and to take strict action against financial crimes.

Earlier in the day, the Financial Supervisory Commission's Financial Intelligence Unit announced

that it would create a special task force to investigate suspicious virtual currency

transactions.

The task force is set to evaluate and analyze suspicious transactions handed over by six

local banks that have the highest number of cryptocurrency transactions.

Earlier this week, the government imposed obligations for these banks to report what

the government calls "suspicious transactions" to the FIU beginning January 30th, the date

when investors will be allowed to create new accounts under their real names.

The government has categorized transactions between banks and cryptocurrency exchanges

exceeding 9,400 U.S. dollars per day or 18,800 dollars per week as 'suspicious transactions'.

It also classified frequent deposits and withdrawals from exchanges as 'suspicious', with accounts

that performed more than five such transactions a day or seven transactions a week included

in the list.

Once the FIU finishes its review of the suspicious dealings, it will hand over transactions related

to tax evasion to the National Tax Service and the Korea Customs Service, and transactions

related to financial crimes to investigative agencies such as the police.

The Financial Supervisory Service said that it will also strengthen its monitoring of

virtual currency transactions by financial companies by elevating the current anti-money

laundering team to a larger department and designating former commissioner of the FIU

Yoo Kwang-yeol as the head of that department.

An industry expert says the measures come as part of government efforts to prevent people

using cryptocurrencies for illegal activities.

"Cryptocurrencies can be used to evade taxes or for money laundering.

So one of the roles of the new task force would be to look at suspicious transactions

to make sure that cryptocurrencies are not used for these purposes."

The expert said that the government's new measures are an unexplored territory where

definite results cannot be foreseen, but added that at least in theory, when coupled with

the recently implemented real name regulations, the task force would at least be able to trace

transactions that are obviously suspicious.
