The Progression of Backbiting - Shaykh Riyadh ul Haq - Duration: 3:35.

Allah explains it beautifully in this verse. Allah first says, "Abstain - refrain from excessive conjecture."

Then Allah says, { وَلَا تَجَسَّسُوا }

"And do not search for faults." Then Allah says, { وَلَا يَغْتَب بَّعْضُكُم بَعْضًا }

"And do not backbite one another." Why does Allah mention all three?

Because this is gradual progression.

The first will lead to the last.

We start thinking about something or someone

And these runaway thoughts build up

Now we're convinced - we're convinced -

We thought about it so much it's etched itself in - into our conscious

It's seared itself in our memory in our brain.

So we're convinced, now all we need is proof. So we go out looking for proof

And then there's confirmation bias; we'll see a hundred things which refute that but

they seem to escape us, but if we come across one ambiguous thing which

possibly may suggest something close to what we were imagining

We seize upon it as definite proof.

Now we're convinced and we've actually got evidence. What happens then?

We can't rest. We have to give the good news to the whole world.

So we begin talking.

{ وَلَا يَغْتَب بَّعْضُكُم بَعْضًا } "And let not one of you back - And do not backbite one another."

So we start spreading the good news, telling everyone

And then Allah ends the verse by saying, "Would any one of you wish that you consume the flesh of your dead brother?"

So Subhanallah, you know what this verse shows? This verse begins with something and ends with something

And shall I tell you what it begins with? It begins with a single thought, which is baseless it's

sheer speculation and mere conjecture.

So it begins with a single thought and it ends with this person feasting

on the flesh of his dead brother's corpse. That's what that one thought leads to.

So Allah says cut it from the root. Do not resort to conjecture, do not speculate

There could be many explanations about why someone has done something why someone said something

There could be many explanations and wouldn't we want

others to give us the benefits of doubt? Who is pure? Who is not prone to mistakes?

Who is not prone to the odd - well to gaffes? Who is not prone to making ill judgement?

Who is there who doesn't sin?

Prophet ﷺ says,

"كل بنى آدم خطاء ، وخير الخطائين التوابون"

"All the children of Adam are sinners and the best of sinners are the ones who repent."

hello adventures today we are here again to

make a new review. this time of this gloves kindly offered by the "outlet moto"

the Out Inverno, this gloves are composed with a double coating of kevlar and cordura

they are also 100% waterproof with the "aipora" system

whitch prevents the temperature from dissipating to the outside of the glove

has all the features of a mid-range and high-end glove

like for example rigid knots of the fingers, extra resistance in the lateral part of the pulse

as some skin reinforcements on the palmar part of the glove as well as at the fingertips

we tested the very simple and ergonomic locking system

is a 30€ glove that would be of any other brand without being "outlet moto"

would probably cost in the house of 60/70€

after a period of use we have concluded that the gloves are truly warm and comfortable

the customer service "outlet moto" is excellent we indicate

a number of gloves that happened to be wrong for our model

however in two days everything was resolved with maximum readiness and quality

overall I wore these gloves on a daily basis, if they are realy waterproof as they say

for the value... it is to use on rainy days...

i bought them bro!

and we also do not ride that many times in the rain so...

I like them!

10 Non-Metal Bands Influential To 1980s Metalhead - Duration: 6:49.

here we are again with Dave overkill vocalist and guitar player from DESTRUCTOR and

he's obviously been doing DESTRUCTOR for a long time 33 years so we're gonna

talk about how he first started getting into metal my top 10 well what really

influenced me to become the metalhead that I am now is all the stuff that came

before 1983 or something you know talking about the 70s some of the best

music came out of the 70s do I love heavy metal absolutely I love young

bands nowadays they're the future of heavy metal and I embrace that I also

cherish my faves from the past and I'd have to mention too right off the rip

that really got a hold of me when I was young that would be KISS and ALICE

COOPER the makeup the studs the fire the flames all of that stuff spoke to me

as young kid I was like oh wow man that's what I want to do so you got two

right there KISS and ALICE COOPER can you top those bands maybe if I have it

SABBATH absolutely a friend of mine used to have SABBATH record and we'd listen

to it in the basement all the time so this is when I was in junior high school

THE STARS from Jersey area you familiar with THE STARS? Great band 70s band

and THE GODS from Columbus I don't know if anybody's familiar with THE GODS

actually we have a record here now yeah yeah the gods were awesome that kind of

hard rock verging towards the metal as we approach the eighties that's the

stuff that really grabbed me and said you know what I want to make this kind

of music and really the thrash from the 80s all came from 70s music thrash just

didn't pop out one day and say hey I'm thrash metal yeah all those guys listen

to all the same stuff and that we did talking about AEROSMITH you're talking

about TED NUGENT you're talking about BACHMAN-TURNER OVERDRIVE these are bands

that you know they lay down some power it was heavy it wasn't commercial it was

not easy listening in the 70s it was all based around the guitar and loud loud

amplifiers bass drums and a great singer PINK FLOYD was one of my favorite bands

for the longest time ZEPPELIN was a great band all of these bands that came

from England had a big influence on us American kids that's for sure so like

URIAH HEEP who's that know that another great band yeah I love URIAH HEEP

so let's go back what is the first record if you ever got

or you listen to purchased fired whatever the first vinyl that I ever got

was ELTON JOHN'S Rocket Man is a 45 and I think it was my sisters and I stole it

from her we used to have an old Zenith like close up sort of stereo and used to

play that and then my parents bought me THE BEATLES some BEATLES records so that

was like sort of the first step into my to music in general really

so ELTON JOHN and THE BEATLES and then I saw ALICE COOPER on television one time

and I was blown away I remember it was like I got a little black-and-white TV

in the basement and it was sort of like a welcome to my nightmare I think it was,

it was way before that record came out then I just saw ALICE COOPER and I was

like god what is that that is so cool and I realize well this guy's a musician

being a musician is awesome yeah so what's the record that made you actually

want to play an instrument that's a tough one there's a lot of them the

game-changer for me was KISS Alive One it was all over after that I was just

obsessed with heavy metal was it called heavy metal back then I think so it was

a relatively new term back in the early 70s but KISS was the game-changer the

look the sound everything about them the rockstarness of it yeah it was just so

cool you know so is there a band that you would say helped shape DESTRUCTOR'S

sound oh absolutely the big one for me would be JUDAS PRIEST

they might have been the very first heavy metal band it's debatable was a

BLACK SABBATH was it JUDAS PRIEST they started in the term heavy metal though

yeah as far as that goes I believe I thought STEPPENWOLF did that really yeah

STEPPENWOLF said heavy metal first I thought but the look and the sound of

JUDAS PRIEST I think that all of those things combined is when we sat down and

we gonna form DESTRUCTOR this is this is what we wanted to do over the top studs

and leather power chords super great drumming and that was JUDAS PRIEST JUDAS

PRIEST probably influenced every heavy metal band that came after them no

question about it being a guitar player we covered that

but as far as being a vocalist what kind of singer has helped inspire you

musically some of my favorite singers Tiny Tim loved Tiny Tim no no Tiny Tim

fans out there Paul Stanley was one of my favorite singers Rob Halford we

mentioned Ian Gillan from deep purple Bruce Dickinson IRON MAIDEN and SAMSON

you know the vocals that he did before he was in IRON MAIDEN I really love the

SAMSON stuff Lemmy Lemmy was one of my favorite singers of all time

he's so rough he's so down and dirty there's just something magical about

Lemmy and really to this day Lemmy might be one of my favorite heavy metal

gods so DEEP PURPLE one of your faves or? I love DEEP PURPLE okay Ian Gillan is

one of my favorite singers of all time yeah no question about it

Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson | Book Review - Duration: 7:00.

Hi everyone. I'm rincey and this is rincey reads. Today i'm going to be doing

a book review on truly devious by Maureen Johnson. This is a new mystery

book and the first book in a mystery series from Maureen Johnson. Just to

start off, I'm just going to say that the vast majority of this video will be

spoiler free. I actually don't think I'm going to be talking about anything

spoilery in this video. But in case I do, I will forewarn everyone. So in this

story you are following this character named Stevie Bell who has been accepted

to attend Ellingham Academy, which is the special school in Vermont that is

completely tuition free. They only accept a small number of students every year

and basically everyone who gets accepted is like really good at something very

specific. And for Stevie Bell, she's accepted because she is a true crime

aficionado. Now the thing about Ellingham Academy is that it was founded by this

guy in the early 20th century who wanted to make learning like fun and like a

game or like a riddle. And so he founded this academy and shortly after the

school opened his wife and daughter go missing and it becomes one of the great

unsolved crimes of the 20th century. Stevie Bell since she is obsessed with

mysteries and true crime knows all about this and decides that she's going to

attend Ellingham Academy and her like big project will be to solve this cold case.

So you are following sort of these two plot lines. You go back in time part

of the time to see sort of the things that occurred on the night when the wife

and daughter go missing and then you also follow Stevie as she is attending

the school, finding new friends and figuring out all these different people

that she's surrounded by as well as as she's trying to solve this crime.

So overall, I really enjoyed this book. Maureen Johnson is so good at writing

mystery books. I had read I think one or two of her contemporary young adult

books and I liked them. I thought that they were always just like cute and fun

and she does really interesting things with the characters. But then I read the

name of the star, which came out a number of years ago and I loved that book so

much. And I read all of the books in that series and I always really enjoyed it.

And it feels like truly devious is sort of like a culmination of her working on

mysteries. Like this one feels even stronger than ever.

Like the synopsis says Stevie Bell is a true crime aficionado and Maureen

Johnson works in a lot of common mystery pop-culture things into her book

and into her story. And it feels really natural because Stevie Bell is the type

of person who would be interested in that. You also see Stevie Bell just

struggling with normal teen things. Like she's attending this new school. She has

normal teenage insecurities and problems. She worries about like her project and

feeling like she is up to par to all of these other people who she's surrounded

by. And it's just like a really great mystery, like just a good straightforward

mystery. There are a couple of things that I had like major problems with.

First of all is that I feel like the potential villains in this book were --

I'm putting villains in air quotes here -- are pretty obvious from the beginning.

After sort of the major event occurs in this book, which obviously I won't say what it

is, I feel like it's there's very small list of suspects. And, in fact, I would say

I only suspected two people in total and those were basically the two people that

follow you followed through to the end. I don't know if that's done on purpose or

not. Like some mystery writers do leave it so there are only like really one or

two options and it's more about figuring out how you're gonna figure it out. But I

do like you when there's a little bit more mystery around it or it's not quite

as obvious as that. There's also sort of like this love interest thing that was

going on which the entire time really bothered me. I didn't understand it

really. The way that it's handled in the end I don't know how it's going to be

moving forward. Again, that's a thing I'm not going to talk about because of

spoilers because the love interest plays a major role in the ending. But I felt

like that was all just handled really weirdly. And the main sort of problem I

had with this book was the fact that this book doesn't really conclude in a

concrete way. Now obviously I've read mysteries that are slightly more

ambiguous. Like I've read all of Tana French's books and she always leaves a

couple of question marks. But I feel like the main mysteries for the most part

always really conclude really well. And in this one it felt like there was no

conclusion to anything. It was just the start and stuff like

always really bothers me. I felt like there should have been some conclusions

happening. Like I felt like and did the book with just more questions than

answers. And I think part of the reason why this bothers me so much is in the

name of the star, the name of the star was supposed to be like a four or five

book series. And I forget exactly how many books are out, but the last book in

the series that came out ended on a cliffhanger. And then Maureen Jensen got

really sick and so she couldn't finish the series, which I don't blame her for.

But it's just a really annoying thing to have to deal with. And so I feel like

with this new series, I was expecting it to be more concrete in the ending and

you would just get to follow this character for multiple years like you do

with a lot of other standard mystery books. But instead it looks like this is

going to be a single mystery that you follow over multiple books, which I don't

really like because one am I going to remember all these details in a year so

whenever this next book in the series comes out? I don't know. Two, am I gonna care

as much? I don't know. Like maintaining that suspense and maintaining that

intrigue over multiple books feels like a lot. And three, I don't know how many

books are even going to be in this series? So yeah, it just left me feeling

very unsettled. So in the end I gave this book a three and a half out of five

stars. If you're someone who wants concrete endings to their mysteries,

don't read this book yet. I would wait until the series is complete. I'm gonna

keep going with it just because I already started and now I need to know

what's going to happen next. But if you are ok with cliffhangers and you're okay

with like waiting in between books then go right ahead and pick this up.

Especially if you like standard detective mystery series. I think that

this is a good fun YA mystery series. But it's just the fact that very little

gets answered by the end of the book, it's just really, really bothersome to me.

So I feel like it's so hard to judge this book because I had no idea how

things are going to end. Like I could potentially love the ending and this

could be like a really great series or I could potentially hate it

and who knows. Like it's so hard to judge this book on its own merits because it

feels like I'm only getting part one. So yeah, that's everything I have for this

video. Feel free to leave a comment down below letting me know if you've read

this book, what your thoughts were on it. Or if you have any questions on truly

devious, definitely leave that down in the comment section as well. So yeah

that's all I have for now and thanks for watching.

The Green Solution | New Strain Creation - Duration: 3:04.

Cannabis is a really dynamic plant

it has a rich history and culture in the world and here in the US

It's a plant that responds quickly to whatever we do to it.

It's easy to manipulate,

and it's a beautiful plant species.

TGS is unique in the market in Colorado.

We are one of the only cannabis companies that actively breeds our own varieties

so we know that the future of cannabis in Colorado and the country is in breeding

and looking into the future for new varieties, new genetics.

What is the plant capable of?

We're just starting to scratch the surface of understanding terpene profiles

and how the plant works.

A lot of the breeding is based on increasing resin content

where we also need to focus on yields, disease resistance...

Introducing fresh landrace varieties back in for genetic resistance to disease and pests.

Here at our dedicated research and development facility

our sole purpose is new strain creation.

We create new varieties by crossing a male and a female plant.

The male contributes the pollen while the female receives the pollen

and within a few months we will create seed,

and from that seed, we will be able to hunt for our next greatest strain.

We have our tents here for our seed creation purposes.

So one tent will usually yield about 5 to 10 thousand seeds

depending on the strains and how full the tent actually is.

We will harvest each of these plants, send it to a sample panel...

get back the data which will help us determine

which ones would best fit the retail scene.

The sample panel allows us to concretely say that this is the best pheno of all the ones that we tested.

We have about 20 different trialing rooms that the seedlings will go through

through that system we will harvest about 50 to 75 plants a week

We are trying to create strains that are typically over

20% THC unless we're focusing on a high CBD low THC cross

we've gone through thousands of seedlings and only maybe green light a couple dozen into production

we have found that consumers are also partial to purple colors, bright lemony smells

So basically: potency, color, aroma, taste,

and overall quality that they can come to expect with consistency from The Green Solution
