Wang Jiwon reunites with toe shoes after 8 years! [The Swan Club /2018.01.03] - Duration: 8:43.
(Pointe shoes for ballerinas)
(represent their childhood passion)
(and the pain they had to endure.)
(Ballerina and pointe shoes)
(are like a couple in a long relationship.)
(Meanwhile,)
(Jiwon puts on her pointe shoes.)
What I was feeling was quite different today.
Even the air was different.
I wondered
if this was how it feels
to meet someone who I've longed
to be with again for so long.
The fact that I was performing in pointe shoes
is why I was probably having all sorts of
these mixed feelings.
I'm scared to wear these again.
(She puts tape on her feet to protect them.)
(Worrying)
What if my feet end up getting torn?
What if they bleed?
(She was hesitant to wear pointe shoes again.)
(She awkwardly reunites with pointe shoes again.)
(That hurts.)
My feet hurt already.
(Let's try and be friends again.)
(Pressing down)
(She wanted to dance in pointe shoes this time.)
I thought about it a lot.
(She contemplated for a long time.)
I wanted to do all these techniques,
but my body and feet were at the stage
where I was still familiarizing them to ballet again.
I was also worried about getting injured again too.
First and foremost, I just wanted to do well.
Gosh, it hurts.
My feet.
My feet.
It hurts.
(She pushes through the pain)
(She pushes through the pain)
(to break in her pointe shoes.)
Is this really necessary?
(Will she be able to dance in them after eight years?)
You look absolutely stunning.
I'm so nervous today.
- Don't be. / - You can do it.
- All right then. / - Why am I nervous too?
I know what you mean.
(Those watching are even more nervous than she is.)
(Jiwon dances in pointe shoes)
(for the first time in eight years.)
(The performance begins.)
(She begins with cautious steps.)
(But then she becomes one with the pointe shoes)
(and showcases perfect facial expressions.)
(To the modulation of the song,)
(she expresses the changes in her emotions.)
(Just like a tragic heroine)
(She moves)
(like she hasn't been retired for eight years.)
(More passionately than anything,)
(Jiwon reunites with pointe shoes.)
(Wow!)
- Wang Jiwon, Wang Jiwon. / - Wang Jiwon, Wang Jiwon!
(We knew she'd deliver.)
- Today... / - You were beautiful.
- It was like watching a show. / - I know.
It was like a solo out of a ballet show.
I feel like I just watched the best solo ever.
Jiwon still has
the physique and lines
of a professional ballerina.
Her techniques will be all back
with just a bit of practice.
That's why I want her
to push herself a little bit more.
- Of course. / - More?
Well...
(Since she's already good...)
I get greedy when it comes to her.
Anyway, thank you so much.
(Jiwon walks back in after her performance.)
(He watches closely.)
I find it so funny when ballerinas walk in
with their toes pointed out.
(The characteristic walk of ballerinas)
Now we have seen all six performances
- of "Waltz of the Flowers". / - That's right.
Who is the winner of today's solo challenge?
In my mind, this person
was undoubtedly the winner the moment I saw her.
There were many others
that moved me with their dancing today,
but the artistic value is what touches the audience.
So, who is the winner today?
(They all interpreted the song in their own way.)
(Which solo performance shined the most?)
- So, who is the winner today? / - Right.
The lady fighting through pain. It's Jumi.
(Jumi, the swan fighting through her injury)
My gosh. I actually...
I agree.
It was really beautiful.
- Goodness. / - Your performance was elegant.
- So, this is how it feels. / - Today...
It's not easy to interpret the detail in the music
and express those emotions through your dancing
in a comprehensive manner.
(Jumi expressed morning to the beginning of the song.)
(Her arms and her facial expressions were elegant.)
All those years of acting shone through.
- It was amazing. / - I enjoyed it.
It feels good even though there isn't a prize.
Jumi, the winner of today's challenge,
will win something special at today's dinner.
Normally, you each order a stew,
- but today... / - She can have a meat dish.
(They burst out laughing.)
Jumi can order
braised spicy chicken!
(She gets to order braised spicy chicken.)
How does it feel to win today?
Place the chicken right here for me.
Can you say a few words?
My gosh, I'm still shaking.
I'm so happy that I might buy dinner today.
She's ecstatic.
I came in as the oldest swan,
and I injured myself by pushing myself.
I still have a long way to go,
so I think she gave me first place today
to motivate me even more.
Still, even though I know why she chose me,
I felt incredibly happy.
I honestly did my best today.
(The next day)
Does it hurt when I move your leg like so?
- It rings a bit. / - Of course.
- Not on this side though. / - No.
How tight are her muscles?
A lot.
- Oh no. / - It's her entire leg.
We still have to dance in class,
so what moves should she stay away from?
She can do plies,
but not anything that requires a jump.
We learned pas de deux recently.
It hurt so much during the class.
- What I'm saying is... / - I could tell.
I didn't want to miss out though.
(Two weeks ago,)
(she learned the jump lift.)
Let's try the lift.
(Even with her injury, she participated in class.)
Isn't it scary?
- Are you, all right? / Yes.
Fold forward for me.
(She came here because of the consistent pain.)
Where does it start hurting?
Here.
Does it still hurt?
- I bet it doesn't. / - Well...
- Where it hurts... / - Isn't it all right?
Do a grand plie. Like I told you before,
- squeeze your core. / - My core.
Lower down while pushing your knees out.
Lift the heels and lower down. It's all right.
Now place your heels back down and rise up.
(Jumi learns how to use her muscles.)
I didn't want to hold back the team,
and I didn't want any more injuries.
Staying in better shape
is how I can keep my promise and stay responsible.
(The beginner conquers her injury with hard work.)
Three. That's better.
Are you okay here?
Now breathe in and breath out through your mouth.
That's it. Lower your head to the mat.

Son YeonJae reveals her unique fouette turn! [The Swan Club /2018.01.03] - Duration: 2:40.
So, next up is Yeonjae.
(What did Yeonjae come up with?)
I need to come up with a choreography.
(Yeonjae's friend and rhythmic gymnastics coach)
Something like this.
What do you think?
This doesn't suit me, right?
Is this your homework?
(I have to come up with a choreography,)
(but I don't know where to start.)
(First, she lets herself move to the music.)
I want you to incorporate fouette turns.
To this music?
Choose the appropriate section of the song.
(Turning on one leg while holding up the other)
- It's up to the song. / - The beat is off.
I want to see your fouette turns.
(Will we be able to see Yeonjae's fouette turns?)
(She begins)
(seated like a flower.)
(Then the flower wakes up)
(and greets everyone with its eyes.)
(With one foot after the other,)
(she starts to walk forward.)
(She stretches after waking up)
(and flies.)
(It's like she's making her body remember.)
(Her moves)
(captivated the audience.)
(She seems to be enjoying herself while relaxed,)
(but then she flies with energy.)
(The swift balance)
(that Yeonjae has while she dances.)
(She ends her piece)
(with bold and confident fouette turns.)
- Gosh. / - Good job.
(They're all amazed.)
(Embarrassed)
She's good and adorable.
Exactly.
That was amazing.
I was so nervous while performing the solo.
It felt like I was a rhythmic gymnast again,
but I like how I didn't have
to be stressed out about my performance.
(I liked how it wasn't stressful.)

N. Korea restores hotline with S. Korea on Wednesday - Duration: 2:10.
On February 2016, North Korea cut off the communication hotline with the South.
It was to protest Seoul's decision to shutdown the Kaesong joint factory park.
Keeping with the tone set by its leader's new year's speech, the regime restored the
inter-Korean channel today.
Ji Myung-kil has our top story.
The chairman of North Korea's committee on inter-Korean Affairs announced Wednesday through
state media... that Kim Jong-un had approved the restoration of the military hotline.
(Korean) "North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has ordered
the restoration of the South-North hotline starting 3 p.m. today.
Through this channel we will discuss matters related to sending a delegation to the PyeongChang
Winter Olympics and the proposed talks."
The committee's chair emphasized that on the orders of their leader Kim Jong-un...
North Korean officials will cooperate with their South Korean counterparts, and he once
again expressed hope for the success of the upcoming 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
The chairman went on to say that the North's leader, Kim Jong-un, welcomed the decision
by the South Korean presidential office to offer talks, calling it a positive move.
(Korean) "Our leader highly appreciates and welcomes
President Moon Jae-in's support of his peace offer and has ordered thorough preparations
for working-level talks."
However, it is unknown whether the two sides will talk only about sending North Korean
athletes to the PyeongChang Olympics... or whether they'll cover other issues such as
inter-Korean family reunion and resuming civilian exchanges.
South Korea's presidential office of Cheong Wa Dae welcomed the North's reopening of the
inter-Korean communication channel saying it's a move toward making communication possible
at all times.
(Stand-up) "South Korea's unification ministry has also
welcomed the North's restoration of the hotline, saying it will consult with North Korea on
issues related to working-level talks.
Ji Myung-kil, Arirang News."

10 Books for Scandinavian Studies - Duration: 17:36.
Hello friends how are you? My name is Arith Härger
and today I'm going to show you 10 books I deemed to be necessary for Scandinavian studies
and because you actually asked me
this is the first video of this year
and I'm sure after the New Year's Eve-
you probably still feel a little bit drowsy
so I'll start the year with something less complex
let's take it slowly
even if you are already familiar with Scandinavian studies I think this video will also be useful to you
for most of us when we want to take the first step into Scandinavian studies
the first thing we do is jump into the classics - the Poetic Edda and the Prose Edda
in most cases our first contact is with the mythological accounts
but most of us live in a society that was shaped by Christianity
and most of us were raised with Christian principles and ideas and values
and it doesn't matter if you are an atheist or even if your childhood was spent away from any religion
we can't escape Christianity especially in Western societies
because it's so deeply rooted in our daily lives that people won't even perceive the little details
what we think it's a normal way of experience life through our own actions-
we are just unconsciously living according to the stipulated christian view of the world
because we are linked to a collective social mind
we are so used to certain ideas, and as such-
other mythological accounts won't make much sense to us
as I've said before, mythologies are not fantasy, they are an ethnical code in which traditions, language and history is printed
and those who are familiar with the culture to which that mythology belongs to
they will understand the true essence of those stories
stories that reflect a specific culture
so . . .
in our unconscious Jewish, Christian, Islamic minds, the pagan mythological accounts won't make much sense
they will only make sense in those parts that were influenced by the religions I have just mentioned
because they will sound familiar
but everything else will just feel out of place
so I don't advise starting with mythological accounts when dealing with Scandinavian studies
we should create an educated path, a well structured course, a logical thinking
to free our thoughts from the way we were taught how to think
so the first book I'll show you is this one
Ancient Scandinavia - an archaeological history from the first humans to the Vikings
by T. Douglas Price
I have said this before and I'll say it again, it's not just because I'm an archaeologist
but archaeology is fundamental to understand history
archaeologists are history's detectives
in hundreds of cases archaeology proved that historical facts were lies
and our society was built with many lies
small wonder the foundations of our societies tremble so much . . .
anyway . . .
archaeology also gave us many answers that were impossible to find in written records
so this book is perfect to start your Scandinavian studies
one of the most expensive books I have ever bought, but it's worth it
it's a great book to understand the history of Scandinavian societies
I know most people only want to focus on the Viking Age but-
to understand the Viking Age-
you need to understand the background of a society which led to the Viking Age
this book speaks of the first humans that arrived into the northern landscapes of Europe
around thirteen thousand years before our Common Era
archaeological findings giving a richly detailed portrait of the evolution of the human society
an archaeological history of Scandinavia from the arrival of the first humans, after the last Ice Age
to the end of the Viking period
if you understand the progression of a society and the cultural, religious and spiritual influences through time
you will better understand their- their way of thinking
therefore you will understand their mythologies
now for the second book I recommend one that speaks about Scandinavian History
even if it's solely focused on historical records
now that you have an archaeological background you will perceive what's true and what isn't
of course I recommend one that it's also based on archaeological findings
so I give you the Viking Diaspora by Judith Jesch
it's not the best of books, but not the worse, I think it's a very good book to start with
easy reading and fluent language
it will give you the basics to understand Scandinavian history, and of course, especially, the Viking period
a good synthesized history
and to start you don't need to delve into the subject
you can make it later on
but this book will certainly give you a good baggage, so to speak
so you can continue your journey in the pursuit of knowledge
now that you are starting to be familiarized with the archaeological and historical background of a society
you are starting to understand the cultural background
you are coming closer to understand the Scandinavian way of thinking
their spiritual understanding, their religious worldview
but you will come across a lot of strange words and terms
even if you are from a Scandinavian country
most of the vocabulary will feel strange because it's in Old Norse
Old Norse is not the official language of any nowadays country
only Icelandic language gets closer to Old Norse but it's not Old Norse
so you will need a good dictionary
I present to you: Dictionary of Northern Mythology by Rudolf Simek and translated by Angela Hall
this is a dictionary that you will constantly consult
it's very rich, very complete, it doesn't just tells you the meaning of the terms
but also gives you a little historical background and also the sources where you can find more knowledge about the subject
there isn't much to say, it's a dictionary but-
for... for me it's the best one for northern mythology
now you can finally jump into the classics: The Prose Edda and the Poetic Edda
although I advise you to start with the Prose Edda by Snorri Sturluson, the one and only
and why is that? Because if you are not familiar with the Scandinavian medieval poetry, yet
and the myths in general, just leave the Poetic Edda for later
you can get any Prose Edda, but I advise you to get one such as the one I have here
with lots of footnotes so you can better understand what you are reading
and an index at the end of the book, this is of great help because for instance-
if you want to find a specific deity or another mythological character or event
in the index it will tell you the exact pages where what you want to find actually is
instead of having to read it all, over and over again just to find a single name
it will save you loads of time
the Prose Edda isn't just based on Norse myths and not only influenced by Christianity
Snorri Sturluson also based its work in the Poetic Edda and that's the next book I want to show you
the Poetic Edda is a compilation of many oral traditions
and because you already have an archaeological and historical understanding
and also a certain familiarity with Norse myths
you will better understand the poems within the poetic Edda
it's a unique type of poetry - medieval Scandinavian poetry - so it might be a little bit dull to read
and especially hard to understand
the poetic Edda I have is a Dover Edition
which includes exceptionally detailed and complete translations by Henry Adams Bellows
lots of essential footnotes and before every poem a little introduction
to what you are about to read, a sort of summarized prose work for each poem
to give you a glimpse of what you are about to read and what it's actually about
that will help you a lot
now, we have already talked about Snorri Sturluson
and the sagas are also very important to Scandinavian studies
so the next book is the Heimskringla, History of the Kings of Norway by Snorri Sturluson
it's one of the best known of all sagas
a collection of sagas concerning various rulers of Norway
of course the historical accuracy is debatable
but now you have an archaeological and historical background
as well as mythological, so you will now be able to better reflect upon this work
just remember that the history of Kings
was written by those who were being paid by the Kings themselves
so expect a lot of nonsense and gibberish
these are works to extol the lineage of Kings
but with this work you will understand the social differences in ancient Scandinavian society
especially during medieval times
it's important to understand the social differences between Kings and Nobles
warriors and common folk and slaves
these social differences are reflected in archaeological findings and also in mythology
let me give you an example: the Norse afterlife is divided into many places for specific groups of people
and by knowing the social differences of medieval Scandinavia
you will better understand why women go into a certain place upon death
warriors go to Valhalla or Fólkvangr and slaves into Thor's Hall, and so on...
now since we are speaking of Sagas, the next book you should probably get your hands on
should be the The Saga of the Volsungs
this is the classic that influenced lots of people, including famous writers
and storytellers such as J.R.R. Tolkien
you can sit tight and read this epic adventure and let your mind flow
but this saga speaks about the origins of-
and the decline of the Volsung clan
there will be many hints to how the scandinavian society worked, especially in terms of the law
how things were conducted by the authorities of the time
and the social struggles, the responsibilities of the family
and how both genders were seen in these societies
so in other words, this is yet another source to comprehend the social life of medieval Scandinavia
and what remained of the old pagan world
this is also the tale that influenced the general idea we have of the Norse in pop culture
so you will be able to see how much rubbish we invented
that does not give the proper value to the real Sagas and to the History of scandinavian societies
the next book should definitely be the Sagas of the Icelanders
you should read this huge monster because of all the previous reasons I have given you
and because if you can read all of this just like the Heimskringla
you will be able to read any of the other sagas
which are more or less variations of all these Sagas you have read so far
in the sagas of the Icelanders
you will have important sagas most people used for the study or- and the comprehension of the Scandinavian society
and how the Norse did their celebrations, rituals
how they worshipped the gods and with what purpose
you are starting to enter into the spiritual and the religious and this is when you have to use your previous knowledge
to understand the pagan way of thinking
and...
what the influences of other religions were
you will draw a line between the pagan and the Christian
actually, you will also draw a line between the pagan religion practiced by the common social standards of Scandinavian history
and between the pagan spirituality of the common folk and other cults
now that you are entering in the religious world view of the ancient pagan Norse
you will want to read more about it, it's inevitable
the sagas tell you about many deities
but one in particular is always there - Odin
you will always find Odin in every tale because he became extremely important during medieval Scandinavia
Odin is actually portrayed in a medieval perspective
when Scandinavia was already greatly influenced by Christianity and as such,
Odin became a figure closely associated with the Christian God
Odin completely lost his functions as a true pagan God, as the god of war and death
this is a common mistake and it's inevitable because the written sources-
portray Odin as the Allfather; a medieval concept of this deity was one of the things that made you be familiar with the tales
because, unconsciously, you see the Christian God reflected in Odin
and vice versa
now is the time to leave behind that concept
since you already read about archeological findings
you are starting to see that Odin isn't the Allfather at all, but a cruller God
not that popular before the Viking Age and certainly not as popular as nowadays
a God worshiped by a tiny portion of the ancient Scandinavian society
mostly cults and a few worshipping here and there in great times of need or desperate events
the book The Cult of Othin, an essay in the ancient religion of the north by H. M. Chadwick
this is a very old essay but I still consider it one of the best
to help you to let go the concept of Odin being the Allfather
when dealing with the Norse gods people usually completely put aside all the other gods
and focus solely on Odin to the point that it almost seems like a monotheistic religion
if you see Odin as the Allfather, the wise, god of knowledge and creation
you are completely denying the pagan view
if you see Odin as one figure closely related to the Christian God, none of the other gods make much sense
and they just seem to hang around odin because Odin is the King
and somehow owns all the other gods
but when you start to see Odin as the pagan god of old
then a lot of things start to make so much sense
you will see that there is no king of the gods, all gods are free in their own way and all have a purpose
the gods are the reflection of the free will of humans
and that's why there is so much chaos and also balance
that's why every God makes a mistake but also good things
that's why the gods seem much more humane rather than perfect figures of goodness and order
if you are looking for good gods and evil gods in the Norse mythology, you won't find them
the Norse gods are both good and evil; the Norse gods are much more humane
and now the final book:
The Road to Hel, a study of the conception of the dead in the Old Norse literature, by Hilda Roderick Ellis
I don't know why the cover of my book is white
now to better understand the religion of the Norse we must turn to archeology
of course
archeology gives us so many answers about the dead
and understanding the dead and burials we come closer to understanding- the understanding of the underworld or the afterlife
in a Norse perspective, of course
the way people viewed the afterlife and the concept of death
is reflected on the burials and this is an important point you can't escape
if you truly want to understand the religious concept of the afterlife of the ancient Scandinavian societies
as an archaeologist I have "danced" with many bones
and in truth it all comes to that
the most important and most asked questions of all
are the ones that make us reflect on what will happen after we are gone
most of us can't conceive the idea that upon death everything is simply over
because the world is so much more complex
life is so much more complex, so why would Death be so simple and final?
well this is a great book to understand death and- in ancient Scandinavia
and from an archaeological perspective of course
it will give you a few answers to questions that couldn't possibly be answered in historical records
now you have 10 books to start your journey into Scandinavian studies
after this keep on reading works based on archaeological evidences as much as possible
because archaeology will keep giving a lot of answers and a lot of different, new and useful perspectives
and it will also give you new questions
to make people seek knowledge, but most importantly to seek the truth
alright friends thank you so much for watching, I hope you have enjoyed this video
and at some point during this video you could almost make a drinking game every time I said "Odin"
we could give it a try
anyway thank you so much for watching
see you on the next video and...
tack för idag! (thank you for today!)

In a circumciscion, the foreskin or a part of the foreskin is removed.
Sometimes this is done for medical reasons,
if there is something wrong with the foreskin,
so that it has to be removed partly or completely.
Sometimes there is no medical reason, but it is done to boys
because of religious or cultural beliefs, without other reasons.

Weaving on a pin loom: weaving with finer yarns - Duration: 15:59.
Hi! In this video I will show you how you can weave a piece like this
with finer yarns on this weaving frame, that I normally use for working with
bulky yarns, but I will show you now how you can also make a fine structure on this.
The Craftsteacher, tatting, weaving, crochet, knotting, knitting
Okay. In an instruction video I made on how to use this pin loom
I used this yarn then,
and then it was clear quite quickly that the yarn was actually too thin
for this weaving frame,
and well, you could better use this kind of bulky yarn
but, if you have a particular yarn that you really would like to use
then you have two alternatives.
The one alternative is just double up the yarns
or even triple it, depending on how thick your yarn is,
and when you take it doubled,
well, you actually have the same situation as working with bulky yarn.
What was quite fun, my daughter said this when I showed her this,
she said: 'Mom, I actually really like that effect,
of these threads laying next to each other like this'.
And I thought she was actually right.
I didn't do that on purpose,
you can also see in some places that it twists a bit,
because I didn't intend to do this,
but it's something to keep in mind,
if you think: 'oh yeah, I like that', you know, remind that,
but what I want to show you especially in this video
is how you can make a thinner weave on this
and that's actually quite simple, and I will show you that now.
You start as usual with making a slipknot
and start weaving like you did before,
and at the start, you just do a bit,
not too far,
and I think I will do it around about 5 nails.
Let's see,
and I prefer to, when I've done some,
to do it like this. Oh, I went around two nails here
Okay, I did three, I will count.
I don't count the corners, I will do another two rounds,
and that's the max for what I will show you next.
So under the first, under the third, under the fifth and under the last.
Let's see, I've done now 1, 2, 3, 4,
and for convenience sake one more extra
Okay, almost finished. Okay.
Well, what is the trick?
The trick is: you now have one thread around each nail,
and you're going to move it over, and you do that on all sides.
You skip the corner nails,
so this is the first. You take the second,
It's easiest with a crochet needle, and you move it to the first.
A nail came free here, so you take this,
move it over to the free nail,
you take this one, lay it over the other one, so that you have here two also,
and you move this one to the next free nail.
You do the same on the other side,
so skip the corner nail, this is number one,
you take this one and move it over here,
you take the next and move it to the free nail,
you take the next and move it over so that you have two here
and this goes around this one.
You do the same on the other side.
You take this and put it on the second nail,
you take this, and move it over here,
you move this over, to here,
and with exception of the last, you have now two threads around each nail,
and then side number 4,
and what you accomplish with this,
is that you get a finer weave.
Of course you have to make the weave a bit neat
take care to get it closer to each other,
that it makes straight lines again.
Well, at this moment this is not really an issue,
but when you are further, it will be....
well, just work neatly.
Okay, so now we continue,
and you can actually continue to work like you usually do,
also when doing color changes, just do your color changes,
and then later on you will just move over the loops.
So, like I said, this is the reason I did 5,
because it's easier to see, when you start again,
where to go under. Watch the weave carefully,
that you do 'going over, under, over, under'
that you pay attention to that closely,
because, well, these threads are much closer to each other of course,
so you have to pay a little bit more attention.
I didn't take my tunesian needle for this video,
but especially when you have to work through this a lot,
then a tunesian crochet needle is quite handy.
Okay, I will show it one more time.
Let's see, I now have again 1, 2,
and especially when you are further on, you know,
just take care you have three next to each other, and then you will start moving over again.
So this.
With this weave, it really takes a lot more time to do.
so, well, there's nothing wrong with that,
when knitting a sweater it also takes a lot of time,
so it just depends on how much time you want to put into it.
Okay, so now I have again three places with just a single thread,
so you can start again, I will take this one,
and I move it over there,
and this, that's still a single.
Here again.
Move it over here, so now there are two here,
and move this over one place.
The other side. Here again also, here is the single one,
move it over here,
and move this over here
and here, again, there's one on this,
move it over here and move this over here.
And next tidy up the stuff,
make it straight,
and usually I do that with a needle,
because, with my crochet hook, I tend to mess it up more
than getting it neat. Well, you can continue working like this.
But, a tip, is always ending with one
where you have a single around a nail, because it's just easier
when you continue. Okay, a little tip.
I did this exercise once with some yarn
with which it was very hard to see if there were one or two threads around a nail,
and what you can do then: take a pencil
and mark where you have done two.
A pencil, it's just wood, so you can just erase it afterwards.
Look, with this yarn it really is clear to see, but if you can't see it,
or it's difficult, just do that, because at a certain moment, you really don't know anymore
if you did or didn't do it. Well, you can also count nails of course,
that's possible too, but well, you can continue like this with the rest
and in the end you will have a weave like this.
I will show you in a moment, how you do, with, let's call it doubled weave,
to name it for a moment, how to finish the borders.
See the next video how to crochet a border around this!
Okay, I took it off the loom,
I've completely finished it, gone around all the way,
and you can see how neat this looks at the sides.
Yes, and now you can see very good how this weave differs
from this weave, where I doubled the threads,
and used it like with this bulky yarn,
where you just do a single weave, but doubled the threads,
and this is, well, it just feels different. It feels a bit tighter,
but it's quite thin, and this is a bit thicker,
but it both has his charme. This is quite some more work than this.
I think this probably took me an hour or two, while this takes me, I think,
20 minutes, 25 minutes, so, well, you know,
it's what you would like to accomplish.
So, this is the video about working with finer yarns.
