24 Reasons Flash Gordon & Thor Ragnarok Are The Same Movie - Duration: 3:42.
Both of these films are based off of a comic series.
In order to appeal to the fans of the original comics, the movie starts off with a 70s visual
styled intro, so from the jump you could tell this film is going to be Dynamite.
The hero is the blonde haired dude.
When he's not defending earth from the forces of evil, he's a larger than life role model
of New York.
Everywhere he goes, there's always a fan asking him for his autograph (audio).
One day, he's traveling through space and is thrown off course.
He goes through this rainbow colored worm hole and his world is turned upside down after
that.
He crashed lands on this planet that looks like a wasteland.
He's met by these bounty hunters and he starts talking trash and (don't tase me
bro audio) he gets tased.
The hunters take him to the palace, which is the only decent real estate on the planet.
He arrives and the bad guys are ruthless.
They annihilate all of their prisoners no matter how hard they beg for mercy.
If you thought humans were bad, life outside of our galaxy is ten times worst.
The barbaric people in the movie are savages.
So much so, the prisoner is forced to fight for his life in a death match.
He has to fight the green guy.
It's not a fair fight because the master of ceremonies interferes, but even though
the green guy whips the hell out of 'em.
They're still buddies after the battle.
The only thing standing in their way of freedom is the villain in the movie.
He looks crazy and sounds crazy too since he's always contradicting himself.
For example, even though he travels with golden eye candy by his side and he keeps lots of
prisoners in his dungeon, the villain gives strict orders to his henchman against slavery
(audio).
Together, the blonde headed hero, his fine love interest and the doctor join forces to
escape.
This trio seems like a time bomb and looks like they're destined to fail.
One of them has an obvious drinking problem and you can't trust fighting side by side
with an alcoholic.
The other weak link is the doctor.
He seems like he should be the brightest one in the group, but he has some serious issues.
He gets temper tantrums for no reason sometimes and he's all messed up in the head.
He sees footage of what happened to him before he crash landed on the planet and that coupled
with the footage of his former lover gets him angry and trust me, you won't like him
when he's angry.
They don't have anytime to waste.
The hero does this telepathic thing where he sees and hears what his friends are going
through from their point of view.
His friends are in danger and the only way to save them is to escape.
The hero steals a vehicle from the bad guy's garage and an aerial battle ensues.
The bad guys are all like pew pew pew pew, but the hero is still alive and kicking.
The villain has an evil army behind him and to even up the odds, the hero joins forces
with a member from the flying army he met earlier in the film.
Also, he frees all the prisoners from the villain's dungeon.
With numbers on their side, they're able to overpower the villain's army.
The lady in black is super pissed.
The battle gets intense after that one guy loses an eyeball.
The good guys are fighting the bad guys on the ship and since so many people are dying
you can't really tell who's winning.
Then (sound effect), after the bald headed guy with the cool beard gets stabbed in the
torso, the villain dies and there's peace after that.
For now at least, because the from the look of the credits scene, the studio already started
planning a sequel and it's safe to assume this isn't the last adventure we get from
our hero.
Those are 24 reasons these movies are the same.
You agree?
Yes, no, maybe so?

The Soul Speaks in Mysterious Ways — Can You Hear Its Voice - Duration: 4:37.
The Soul Speaks in Mysterious Ways Can You Hear Its Voice
by Lissa Rankin,
As children, we are all born with healthy souls, but sometimes life does a number on
us.
The traumas of childhood, the wounds of coming of age, the sacrifices we make for our careers
and our families, the losses that eat away at our joy, and the fears we inherit from
an anxious, panicked culture take their toll, and if youre like many of us, by the time
you reach adulthood, youve lost touch with the vital, healthy soul that still thrives
and radiates within every single of one of us.
This was certainly true for me.
After a happy childhood, my soul was still very alive and vital through my teen years,
but my medical education changed all that.
After a decade of difficult, sometimes abusive medical education, I felt disconnected from
my soul.
I know it never left me- souls never do but at the time, I found it hard to let my soul
guide my life.
After ten more years working within a system that left me feeling like I was selling my
soul for the job security and financial stability my career offered, I found myself coming home
from work at the end of every day feeling like I had so much more to give my patients,
but the system was keeping me from serving in the way my soul yearned to serve.
What resulted was illness, depression, chronic anxiety, insomnia, divorce, and a feeling
of disconnection from the calling that drew me to medicine in the first place.
The Masks We Wear
On the outside, it looked like I had the perfect life.
Nobody guessed that my soul was getting buried deeper and deeper.
I was so worried people could see how dark I had gotten without the light of my soul
shining through unimpeded that I tried even harder to cover the darkness with a mask of
perfection.
The more worried I got that I would somehow blow my cover, the more pressure I put upon
myself to keep the masks in place.
But those masks only furthered my disconnection from my soul.
I had the Doctor Mask, which led me to climb up onto a pedestal and pretend to know it
all.
Then I had the Artist Mask, where I pretended to be deep and brooding and mysterious.
And then there was the Mommy Mask and the Perfect Wife Mask, which led me to feel the
pressure of baking the perfect cupcake or always wearing sexy lingerie in bed.
It was exhausting, trying to keep up appearances, when deep down, I felt so lost, helpless,
hopeless, and alone.
But I was afraid to seek help.
After all, I was a doctor.
I thought I had to keep up the appearance of having it all together.
Otherwise, who would trust me to take care of them?
How My Perfect Storm Woke Me Up
Then my Perfect Storm blew through.
Within two weeks of giving birth to my daughter, my dog died, my healthy young brother wound
up in full blown liver failure as a rare side effect from the antibiotic Zithromax, and
my beloved father passed away from a brain tumor.
All hell broke loose, and my beleaguered soul stood up and said, NO MORE!
I finally decided to quit my job in conventional medicine in 2007.
I now realize that this was a sentinel moment in the evolution of my soul.
Shortly after quitting my job, I wound up taking a writing workshop at Esalen Institute
in Big Sur, where a quiet little voice inside me kept telling me I was supposed to go and
meet someone.
After ignoring the little voice for way too long, I finally gave in, and when I arrived
at Esalen, a woman asked me why I was there, and I said, Because Im supposed to meet
someone here.
After listening to a little bit of my story, she piped up and said, Oh, youre supposed
to meet Dr. Rachel Naomi Remen.
How My Soul Lit Up
I had never heard of Rachel, but when I got back home, I looked her up online, bought
her book Kitchen Table Wisdom, read the whole book within 24 hours, and along with the 4
million other readers who have read Kitchen Table Wisdom, I fell in love with Rachel.
We met soon afterwards at a workshop she was leading for doctors, and I have spent the
last six years as part of a small group of doctors who meet monthly on Wednesday nights
at Rachels house to discuss finding meaning in medicine.
(I joke that Mitch Albom had Tuesdays With Morrie.
Me, Ive had Wednesdays With Rachel.)
In that circle of love, my soul started to heal from two decades of insults, and under
Rachels mentorship, I found within myself a strength and a resilience I didnt know
I had.
Some dim part of me I had almost lost touch with, the part I now call my Inner Pilot
Light, began to flicker, and with the medicine of Rachels love and the love of the other
doctors in our study group, I started to feel whole again for the first time in years.
Once the barriers between me and my soul started mending, other parts of my life started falling
into place.
I started blogging and writing books and got in touch with my lifes purpose.
Doing my souls work generated plenty of revenue so I could dig my family out of the
hole of debt I had landed us in after quitting my job.
Relationships I had nearly destroyed began to heal, and I started attracting new relationships
into my life with people who were on the same healing journey to reclaim the soul that I
was.
As a result, my spiritual life, which I had long ago abandoned because my soul didnt
resonate with the rigidity and judgments of my strict Christian upbringing, began to come
back to life.
I found myself on a spiritual path that led me to explore a variety of spiritual practices
that felt authentic to my soul.
As a result of this soul work, my health also improved, and I went from taking seven medications
to taking only half the dose of one of them, and all of my many symptoms, the ones my doctors
had told me would be chronic and require medication for life, disappeared.
Your Inner Pilot Light
In other words, my entire life changed.
And it all started with a little voice I now recognize as the voice of my Inner Pilot Light,
which told me to go to Esalen, because I was supposed to meet someone there.
Your soul can be tricky like that.
The soul speaks in mysterious ways.
Its persistent and unrelenting when youre not paying attention.
It will appear in dreams if your conscious mind is resisting its presence.
And if youre really ignoring the whisperings of the soul, the Divine is likely to thwack
you upside the head with the proverbial two by four, the way I was hit with my Perfect
Storm.
The voice of your soul may feel scary, because sometimes the whispers speak of truths youd
rather suppress.
But the truth will always set you free.
Having been through the dark nights of the soul, I know the pain of that kind of suffering,
and it fuels me to want to share with you what Ive learned along the way, as well
as the wisdom Rachel has helped me find within myself, which I have every confidence we can
help you find as well.

Introducing myself - Duration: 5:30.
hey guys I just wanted to kind of introduce myself being new to YouTube
and trying to make a gaming channel Twitter and Instagram all those social
media sites I've never gone on to I don't expect that I will do well or at
all but my real name is rose I'm 22 I live in Florida in the United States I
live with my mom dad and my little brother
I also have four pets I have two cats and two dogs if you go on my Instagram if
you follow me on instagram you'll see Luna a lot which is the white cat
the brown cat is Pippin who belongs to my little brother we got them both for
Christmas at least 7 months old and they are wild
there's also Molly who is a brown the brown dog she's a shepherd mix also
belonging to my little brother and then the white mop the messy little guy is
Taz he's my family's dog
so I kind of wanted to make a youtube channel because I've been watching
markiplier and jacksepticeye for years and I thought it was really cool the way
they have this community let talks and connects and are part of each other's
stories and I would like to try and create that I'm not trying to do this at
for a job or trying to make money I actually I want to get my zoology
degree because I want to go work with elephants again I don't know if I'll be
able to do that but it is one of my dreams one of my dream jobs I also want
to be an author but seeing is i I've only ever seen my books I don't
think that's going to happen either I'm saying um alot also my Instagram you'll see
a lot of pictures of nature I really love being outside trees the water the
different animals I also like to learning about weird facts about
different animals like pigs can't physically look up at the sky or
elephants use their feet to hear because of the vibrations I just I don't think I
will be able to make it on YouTube I wish or I hope that I do because I'd
really love sorry the squirrels were there trying to attack we have a lot of
squirrels here but I know I'd like to get to create a community I'd love to
have one as big as like jacksepticeye are markiplier cuz it doesn't seem like
there's any women that have that big of a following especially gaming ones sorry
I'm being distracted by squirrels and birds
I don't know thats a squirrel do you hear that there chatting they don't like that am out
here but um I want to make this channel mostly for warriors people who are
fighting who are having a hard time rather that's just doing the chores done
for the day or because you're in the military or because you like me to have
an invisible disease that makes it hard to just live and I want to remind people
to just live not to just exist to go for those moments being sick you miss a lot
of moments with your family and I have regretted that so I want to try and not
let my illness or my dyslexia or any other excuse that I have to not live and
so you know I don't have a lot of confidence in myself I don't want to
look back and say I did not try this I'm wanna look back and say I tried YouTube
I might have failed at it but even if I touch one person even if I
bring them some amount of happiness then am good

Write On Text Effect Premiere Pro (Beautiful Destinations Tutorial) - Duration: 7:02.
hey what's up guys it's Cooper from tyra films and today I'm gonna be
showing you how to create a simple animated ride on text effect within
Adobe Premiere Pro I'm gonna be reeling out these tutorials about every week so
don't forget to subscribe and if you have any questions or want to contact me
any easier way just follow me on the Instagram or any
social media account I got it tagged below but let's get started so the first thing
I'm gonna do is just drag the clip into my timeline I'm gonna get rid of that
audio and we're gonna want to create a title so I'm gonna go to new then the
legacy title right here and with your title you can do whatever you want with
it I like to use the gloss in bloom font style I'll have that tag down below with
a link I got it from dafont.com which is a great website for fonts that I use
frequently so I'm just gonna do
all right and then I'm just gonna adjust my font size however I really want there
we go maybe a little bit bigger than that and something I like to do when I'm
creating this effect is make my font color maybe like a bright red or
something bright I can definitely see these letters see how that white kind of
blends in with the background right there so I'm actually gonna make it this
red for now and then I'll go back and change it later so once I've got all of
the elements my font that I want size scale all that I'm gonna exit out of
this and then go to where all my media is and just drop it let's say right here
and then now after this we're gonna actually create a transparent layer too
so go down the new item you're gonna create a transparent video and then drag
it on top of where you had your title now this is where we're gonna apply our
first effect so go to your effects panel and search out the effect right on it's
gonna be under video effects and generate and then just drag and drop
that onto your transparent layer once you've done that you're actually going
to want to go back into your editing panel and we're gonna change some things
up within this right on effect so typically I don't like to have a tiny
brush size because what we're gonna be doing is brushing over these letters and
you want to have that pretty big so I usually set it to about 35 you can see
that white dot right there that's what's gonna be brushing over actually you know
I may set it to 40 just to be cautious and then the next thing you're gonna
want to change is your stroke link so I usually change this to about 50 and then
down here you're gonna want to go to brush spacing
and it's said that 0.01 you're actually gonna want to go point zero zero one
right here and you can play around this play around with this however you like
but I think this is the best formula that's worked for me and now we're gonna
get to it so first thing you want to do is
actually go to the front of your transparent clip and it's brush position
right there and we're gonna start with our right on effect me there we go I
don't know wow that's glitching right there so we're gonna zoom into our clip
right here and we're just gonna take this spot and move it to the top of the
T I usually start from that top lighter right there and now that I've dragged
that there we're just gonna want to hit the right arrow on your keyboard and
we're gonna go frame-by-frame creating this little brush over the text you can
see right there kind of miss the spot up here you don't ever have to really be
perfect you just need to make sure you cover the letters drag that a little bit
more just to make sure it gets all of it
and I'm just gonna go frame-by-frame the whole way trying to cover every single
letter it gets pretty tedious at times but if you think about it it's actually
well worth it in the end so I'm going to fast forward through all of this and
then catch up with you guys once I'm done
all right so now that we finished this and we got everything covered we're
gonna go and apply one more effect before we are fully finished so I'm
gonna drag this back up and you see how it's all covered it really doesn't
matter how you go about it you just need to make sure all of your font and text
is all covered so the last thing we're gonna do is go to our effects panel
search that tracks matte key it's gonna be under video effects and King and just
apply it to your title layer now there's one small thing we need to do is
actually go to the mat and you just want to turn on the video 3 layer since
that's where your tracking is going on so you're gonna see that right there and
then I'm gonna render this out real quick
alright guys hopefully you found this tutorial helpful I love to use this
effect sometimes in my videos it's really easy to use and there's a lot
more things you can add to your font and even add transitions with the effect as
well hopefully again you found it helpful and don't forget to Like and
subscribe to the page I'm gonna be rolling out a new tutorial next week
haven't decided what I'm gonna do but probably something fun related so how do
you got next week

Every Guillermo Del Toro Movie Ranked From Worst To Best - Duration: 8:46.
Mexican director Guillermo del Toro is one of the most imaginative and visionary filmmakers
of our time.
Throughout his acclaimed career, del Toro's obsession with movie monsters has captured
the hearts and minds of both critics and audiences worldwide.
Each of del Toro's films are instantly recognizable, as few directors can match the intricacy of
his distinctive vision.
After twenty five years of moviemaking without an Academy Award, 2018's The Shape of Water
won del Toro the Oscar for Best Picture and Best Director.
However, long before he dove into the depths of inter-species love, del Toro tackled a
whole range of creature creations transcending typical notions of horror and fantasy.
Join us as we rank the maestro Guillermo del Toro's ten movies from worst to best.
"When you made Shape of Water did people say, "'why didn't you make it in spanish?
Why did you make it in English?'"
"It was weird enough in any language."
Mimic
Anyone who's squeamish at the sight of bugs would do best to avoid del Toro's first English-language
movie, 1997's Mimic, in which entomologist Susan Tyler is on a quest to rid New York
City of deadly, disease-spreading cockroaches.
Fighting fire with fire, Tyler genetically engineers new insects called the Judas Breed
to feed on the infected bugs.
Unexpectedly, or perhaps expectedly if you've ever seen a horror movie, the new creatures
evolve in dangerous ways and take on a purpose of their own.
While Mimic features del Toro's renowned detailed character designs, his first Hollywood venture
was ultimately a bitter experience.
Creatively, he felt stifled by studio interference and has since disowned Mimic entirely.
Crimson Peak
What do you get when you cross a haunted house movie and a gothic love story?
For his ninth film, del Toro blurred the usual boundaries of genre with 2015's Crimson Peak.
This flick follows the dark love affair between American heiress Edith Cushing and English
baronet Thomas Sharpe.
Swept away to Sharpe's creepy yet magnificent house, called Crimson Peak, the couple encounters
imaginative red ghosts and the potential threat Thomas' sister Lucille brings.
Marketed as an outright horror movie, reception to Crimson Peak was mixed, scoring a 71 percent
on Rotten Tomatoes thanks largely to its stunning set design and unnerving visuals.
Without the scares of Pan's Labyrinth, nor the romanticism in The Shape of Water, this
gothic tale still sports del Toro's typical style and sophistication.
Pacific Rim
del Toro's biggest money-making blockbuster, Pacific Rim, combines his love of Japanese
mecha and menacing movie monsters.
The story is a battle between destructive creatures called Kaiju and the Earth's final
savior, gigantic robots called Jaegers piloted by humans.
Close to defeat, mankind's last resort is to enlist the help of a washed-up ex-pilot
and a young trainee to stop the planet's impending doom.
Flush with heart-pounding action sequences, Pacific Rim is not another mindless summer
smash up.
Besides being a technical marvel, the characters themselves are rich in diversity and depth.
In del Toro's hands, these giant sea creatures and massive robots are packed with more personality
than your standard monster flick.
"I didn't want them to look like a certain mecha or look like a certain piece of anime
or a another movie, I wanted them to be all their own."
Cronos
Del Toro's first feature, 1994's Cronos, delivered one of his most outlandish concepts for a
vampire film: An elderly antique dealer discovers an ancient artifact meant to grant eternal
life.
With his eight-year-old granddaughter, he tries to use the item's power for himself,
but of course, things don't go as expected.
Originally written for veteran actor Max Von Sydow, the lead role is unusual as older men
rarely take center stage in film.
While sometimes struggling to maintain a balance between horror and comedy, Cronos still showed
the del Toro horror magic he would capitalize on later in his career.
Hellboy
Well before superhero movies dominated theatres, in 2004 Guillermo del Toro struggled to bring
his passion project, the comic book character Hellboy, to cinema.
Played by longtime friend Ron Perlman, Hellboy is a surly, wise-cracking demon groomed to
be part of an elite paranormal secret defense team.
Based on writer and illustrator Mike Mignola's acclaimed comic book series, Hellboy was a
breath of fresh air in a world of vanilla superheroes.
Del Toro fought to retain the spirit of the source material, despite studio interference.
Hellboy's humor and uniqueness prevailed, and del Toro would expand Hellboy's universe
in the film's sequel.
Blade II
Four years after actor Wesley Snipes brought vampire hunter Blade to the big screen, the
supernatural Marvel hero returned for a 2002 sequel with del Toro in the director's chair.
In Blade 2, Blade is pitted against a new threat of mutated, savage vampires known as
the Reapers.
To defeat them, he agrees to an unexpected truce, and reunites with his former mentor.
A second round of Blade success was tricky as del Toro had no involvement with the franchise
previously.
Fortunately, he used his experience on Cronos to expand the vampire mythology even further
diving headfirst into Blade's hedonistic underworld.
Like Pacific Rim, Blade II lacks the finesse of Del Toro's smaller movies, but his underrated
eye for action works exceptionally well here.
"I wanted the violence to be balletic, to be almost like a musical number, so it would
not have the yuck factor."
Hellboy II: The Golden Army
The only sequel to one of his own films he actually returned to direct, in 2008 del Toro
returned for Hellboy II: The Golden Army.
In the sequel, our hero is caught in a power struggle between humanity and the invisible
realm as Prince Nuada breaks an ancient truce to wage war on our world.
With the help of his friends, Hellboy steps up to save Earth, but with conflict more complicated
than it first appears.
The Golden Army is clearly the film that del Toro wanted to make all along.
With the most lovable assortment of oddballs to hit the screen since the X-Men made their
debut, the movie dazzles in both innovative action sequences and the character's hilarious
moments of down time.
Lost in the shuffle of a summer movie season headlined by both Iron Man and The Dark Knight,
Hellboy II retained the same devoted appeal of the original Hellboy, and remains one of
the shining beacons of the comic superhero genre.
"I just can't smile without yooouuuu."
The Devil's Backbone
del Toro's definitive ghost story, 2001's The Devil's Backbone, is set during the last
days of the Spanish Civil War and follows Carlos, a ten year old boy sheltered in a
school for orphans.
Confronted by the hostility of fellow orphan Jaime, Carlos struggles to come to terms with
his situation until he uncovers the secret of a ghost called Santi, who haunts the grounds.
What comes next is obviously unpleasant.
The Devil's Backbone is one of del Toro's most personal films and excels by balancing
the haunting scares with each character's emotional
honesty.
Both a creepy ghost story and powerful allegory for the politics of the time, The Devil's
Backbone is easily one of del Toro's best movies to date and arguably forms the backbone
for everything he created after.
The Shape of Water
Set in America circa 1962, del Toro's best English-language film, The Shape of Water,
stars Sally Hawkins as Elisa, a lonely mute woman who spends her days eating eggs and
cleaning a government installation.
However, her life is changed forever when she and her co-worker Zelda discover a humanoid
amphibian creature being abused by government operatives.
Playing the leading fish-man is del Toro's frequently called-on character actor and contortionist
Doug Jones.
Before the creature is killed, and with the help of her best friend, Elisa plans to release
the creature out of captivity, but falls deeply in love with him along the way.
The Shape of Water successfully blends del Toro's fantasy leanings and his romantic streak
in one cohesive, timeless story thanks to his impressive production design and glorious
performances from the cast.
Everything from its use of color to the unique way it tackles communication helps The Shape
of Water transcend its bizarre subject matter into an Oscar-winning opus.
With its powerful underdog message, the film is a true masterpiece and will continue to
be discussed by critics and audiences alike for years to come.
"You know what I do, I don't know what I do.
I've been doing this for 25 years.
So whatever fruit I give, you can say it's a pear or a pineapple.
Whatever it is, that's what I do."
Pan's Labyrinth
Just like The Devil's Backbone, Pan's Labyrinth revisits the ramifications of the Spanish
Civil War.
But here, both the horror and fantasy elements are heightened further as the story follows
Ofelia's venture into a legendary underground kingdom.
Meanwhile, her stepfather plots to destroy a nearby guerrilla uprising.
Scoring an impressive 95 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes, Pan's Labyrinth is del Toro's
highest-rated movie and an undisputed triumph of filmmaking.
Despite being filmed in Spanish, the movie became a surprise hit worldwide, the film
won three Academy Awards for Best Art Direction, Cinematography, and Makeup.
Pan's Labyrinth became del Toro's calling card and captured the themes of innocence
and fantasy threaded throughout his entire filmography.
The film is both stunning and unnerving in equal measure, and it's hard to imagine del
Toro ever creating another movie so wondrous.
