Sky Striker Analysis! Dark Saviors Setlist!

Hey, what is it guys talkin attentively here and today's video is going to be a new spoiler video or maybe better a set

List video about the dark saviors booster pack, so let's get started. I hope you enjoy it

first of all, I just want to say that this booster pack is

Is weighted from a lot of people?

because of the vampire stuff

of the for hire staff and of course most of all for the sky striker stuff, so

This archetype is good. He's not good. He's pleasurable is not fashionable

Let's take a look at it together and let's decide it together. So

This booster pack is a special pack like the Battle of legends likely range with 60 cards

or super Earths and cigarettes and we got as you can see just super and

Secrets and we got three archetypes. This is that before and most awaited is the sky striker and

first card as you can see is this kind striker ace kagari which is link one and

It requires one on fire sky striker ace monster

The discs are a special someone you can target one sky striker spell in your graveyard added to your hand

Against 100 attack for each spell in your graveyard. You can special summon sky stroker ace

Kannagi was forgot it was with true, so

this archetype is about making a token and then spamming link activated a

Lot of spell cards and stuff like that and we can see also the prices

Most of the discs are are not high in price at the moment except for the mobilized engage

That we will see later. It is the main spell card of the archetype and we got the sky striker ace riah

which is the

main deck monster and maiden

You can tribute this card quick effect special summon 1 sky striker ace monster

From your extra deck to the extra muscle zone

While this card is in your graveyard if a face-up sky striker is linked monster you control is destroyed by battle or leaves the field

Because of an opponent's count of fact, you can special summon this card you can only use each effect of this card once per turn

Nice stats, but it won't say on the field a lot. Then we got the sky striker shizuka the water link

They request one on waters can strike at its monster

Most of your opponent controls will lose 100 attacking divas for each spell in your graveyard and there will be a lot of spells

Trust me once per turn during the end phase if discuss world special summon

Disturb you can add one sky strike a spell from your back to your hand. They were named different from the card in your brayer

You can only special summon this once per turn

Let me get a stress the sky striker

Magic Hornet drones quick quick plays pal if you don't roll no monsters in your main muscle zones special someone 1 sky striker is token

which is a warrior dark level one with zero attack in defense and defensive position which cannot be tributing and if you have

three or more spell spells in your graveyard when these effect results the token as

attack

1,500

And defense as well. It's

There we go

Some a bunch of reprints like scapegoat push Buddha goose, which is really nice

We're getting night a little darkness and how to staff to Table of Contents. That is a nice reprint

just because of the fact that we don't have a lot of printings of this card and

Then we got psyched sky striker airspace area 0 which is the field spell

You can target 100 card you control excavate the top 3 cards of your deck

And if you do you can add one excavated sky striker card to your hand

Also shuffle dress into deck then if you estimated a sky striker card

Send the targeted card to the Graveyard

If this card in the field zone is sent to the Graveyard back artifact

You can spit to someone what sky striker ace monster from your deck

you can only use each effect of sky striker a space area 0 once per turn I

think that

No one would play this. I don't know. It depends on the builds

I guess then drawing mirror force then a vampire stuff that

I think that we can talk about the vampire stuff in a different video if you want. Just tell me

if you want to see this vampire stuff, which is the

the

The new archetype egg, I guess a lot of new supports but nothing so special on my advice. It won't be so meta relevant

That's why I want to talk about this in this video

It's more about the sky strikers and then we get the sky striker mecha

Make a mode use multi role

Which is how could you spell card once per turn? You can target one outer card. You control send the card graveyard

Also your opponent cannot activate cards or effect and response to your spell card activations for the rest of this turn

you can only

Gain, this effects 115 once per turn once per turn during the end phase

You can set sky strikers paths with different names from your graveyard up to the number of sky strikers pumpkins you activate this turn

While this cows was face-up on your field, but banish them when they leave the field

So, I don't know

Nice one as well then sky striker macaroni help kills base

I don't think is so relevant this one this as well activate this card. It's an equip spell card

Only if you control no monsters in your main muscle zones, they keep monster you're not attacked directly

you can make a second attack on muscles doing each battle phase if they keep monster destroys a monster by its it's

Attack while you have three or more spells in your graveyard

You can draw one card. If this card is sent from the field to the graveyard by a card effect

You can target up to 3 sky strikers cards in your graveyard except sky striker

Makar mone

Shuffle them into the deck to nothing

So special then other vampire stuff that griefer good reprint vampire the sky striker

mobilized engage which is 62

euros

card with the price tag for now

cigarette of course and this color states as

Follows if you control no monsters in your main muscle zones, add one sky striker card from your deck to your hand

Except itself so you can add everything

everything you need

then if you have three or more spells in your gravy er, you can draw one card and

This is amazing, you know, it's a free absurd governor

You can run three of them and you can add everything you need

Then continuing will disguise strikers

We got also style sky striker matcha window egg draw

If you control no monsters doing your main monster zones target

well face-up effect monster on the field negated face-up monsters effect until the end of this turn then if you have three or more

spouse in your graveyard, you can take control of that monster until the end phase and

QuickPlay spellcard

and as you can see, this car is 20 bucks, so

Nice one then. We got the sky striker

maneuver jamming waves

If you control no monsters in your main muscle zones target one set spell/trap on field destroy it

Then if you have trim or spells in your graveyard, you can destroy one monster on the field

Then the sky striker matcha ego booster if you control more muscles in your main muscle zones

Target one face-up monster on field then target to the target is unaffected by card packs this third

Except this tone. And if you have three or more spots in your graveyard, it cannot be destroyed by validator

So as you can see all the oldest pal cards as this statement

this says that if you have three or more spell cards, you can get a deal you can gain additional effects, so

These are really really nice and there is this synergy in step then vampire stuff one

simply mirror force

As I said before tell me in the comments down below if you want to see also a video about the vampire stuff

Then in the second page the other 30 cards we got

You we can find the sky striker major shark cannon

Which states that if you control no monsters in your main muscle zones target one monster in your opponents graveyard

Vanish that monster or if you have three or more spouse in your graveyard

You can special summon that monster to your field in stand, but it cannot attack

But it doesn't matter because you can link someone or doing ad

now

Get this one

Then sky striker manoeuvre

Afterburners, which is 11 euros card

Now if you control no muscles in your main monster zones target on face-up monster on the field

Destroy it then if you have three or more spouse in your graveyard can destroy one spell trap on the field

and on the

Second archetype I think that that's it for the sky strikers and second good arc. Archetype is the

the e-tax

- brigade the now now is

for higher which is really bad and

This archetype is cool. I think that

Drawings are cool as well artworks are really nice

As you can see here

I will talk about this in another video if you want

But I think that the archetype with everyone is waiting for is disguised strikers

This engine is really splash able

Nowadays in all of the X but I think that later in the future would be even better

as you can see

I'm showing you a bunch of reprints. I got another ribbon for Indian Demian as well

He is nice

Because was a really pricey column

before his

dasa, and for the

OTS back

reprint, so I picked that this

Sky strikers in the end are really really nice

good facts

Good synergy easy to splash just one monster in

The main deck a lot of spells

how to beat them fancy spell fragrance imperial order

Draw a lock word. They're all nice. So that's it for today

I really hope you enjoyed this video

What is a GOOD 100m SWIM TIME for triathlon swimming? - Duration: 8:06.

- Morning, Trainiacs.

Little Friday morning recovery kind of swim,

nice and light, lots of fins, lots of snorkel,

nothing too strenuous, just loosen up the body

from the last three days of hard training.

Now, somebody on the Trainiask podcast

asked the question what is a good 100 meter swim time?

I answered it, as we do on the Trainiask podcast,

and it blew up.

It's by far the most popular Trainiask podcast

that we've ever done and I might as well

answer it right here, after the swim.

Also, I didn't bring an active wear shirt today,

so there's gonna be some excessive speedo action.

Apologies ahead of time.

(upbeat music)

(hip hop music)

Ah, man, super late, Trainiacs.

This one took a lot longer than I thought.

3400 meters in an hour 10, gotta go to physio quick.

Alright, so let's talk...

Whoa, you are filthy, guys.

Better.

Let's talk about what is a good

100 meter swim time for triathletes.

Actually, let's not talk about it,

because that answer is all relative.

Let's say a 110 per 100 meter swim time,

if you were to ask me, I'd say that's pretty good.

If you were to ask elite swimmers, pros,

they'd say that sucks.

If you were to ask Olympians, they'd be like,

"Well, yeah, that's a nice warm up,

cool, appreciate you coming out

and getting the blood moving here, Taren,

but we're about to do some real swimming now."

But I can certainly give you some context

for where various 100 meter swim times will place you.

Let's talk in terms of a Half Iron Man,

70.3, 1900 meter swim.

In that case, the pros are doing it at anywhere from around

23 to 28 minutes, which puts them, on average,

around a 115 per 100 meter split time.

That is the top one percent of all swimmers out there.

I myself am doing about a 31, 32, 33 Half Iron Man swim,

which gets me to a 138 per 100 meter average time,

which then places me around the top

five to 10 percent in the entire field.

But here's the thing, I think that, let's take good away,

and I will replace that with attainable.

What is an attainable 100 meter swim time

over the course of a Half Iron Man?

I think that with really purposeful training,

just about everyone can get under

40 minutes for a Half Iron Man,

which translates to a 206 per 100 meter swim time.

And I'll give you some reasons why I think this.

So, you know that I've recently changed over to Tower 26.

The co-host on Tower 26, the sidekick to Jerry Rodriguez,

is Jim Lubinski who is a pro triathlete,

started out doing his first Half Iron Man distance race

with a swim of, I think it was, 47 minutes.

Fast forward to today, he's around

a 27, 28 minute Half Iron Man swimmer.

And if you listen to the Tower 26 Podcast,

there was one time that coach Jerry said

that he went through all of the 1000 meter time trials

that the entire subscription, that's people like me

that are doing it online, not in LA,

the entire subscription database of athletes,

which I wanna say is in the hundreds for sure,

several hundred, I don't know exactly what it is,

and he saw that 98 percent of those swimmers

were getting faster.

Now, I would certainly suspect that far, far fewer

than 98 percent of you are getting faster.

That, to me, is an indication of how important it is

to have a really intentional, well thought out

swim program with a little bit of coaching,

and I think that, paired with some hard work,

almost ensures that everyone can get faster.

And I think that that 40 minute swim time

for a Half Iron Man is kind of what I'm gathering

from the more I talk to people,

that if you get the right technique,

you can hit that almost certainly.

Now, what does it take to get to that kind of time?

Well, it takes a few things.

Number one, I would say that you need to be swimming

three or four times a week, with two of those swims

being really, really key, really purposeful,

well thought out, well designed.

That's why I've gone to the Tower 26 program,

because it is specifically for triathletes.

It's made for us, it's made to get us ready for the bike,

and it's made for the things, the challenges that we,

as triathletes, have working against us.

Our flexibility works against us,

running compresses us which works against us in the pool,

and the lack of time that we can spend in the pool,

that all works against us.

This is starting to sound like a Tower 26 ad.

It's not, just like 'em.

So those swims need to be really critical.

If you're two a week, you're gonna have

a tough time getting faster.

Three, odds are pretty good you'll get faster,

but they have to be really, really purposeful.

We're not just talking any screwing around, very efficient.

If you've got four, you've got a little bit more room

for inefficiencies, because just that repetition,

it helps a lot.

Swimming is a technique sport.

It's not a fitness sport where you can

just build a huge amount of fitness

and muscle your way through it.

You need the right technique and to

develop that right technique, you need repetition

after repetition after repetition,

so that the right technique is

ingrained in your muscle memory,

and then when you get out into the open water

and you get knocked around, it's still really easy

to keep that technique, because you've done it

hundreds of thousands of times.

So I think everyone can get to that 40 minute swim time.

Here, however, is something that I think is a hard and fast,

if you can do this, move on, if you can't,

step back and work on your technique.

Something that I've mentioned before, if you can't yet do

a 400 meter continuous swim without taking any breaks

and without finishing that 400 meters

and being out of breath, so that means being able

to swim 400 meters or yards just consistently,

smoothly, without effort, you aren't yet ready

to really start progressing.

That is a sign that there are really key inefficiencies

in your swim and I would recommend for people

that are at that level that still can't yet

do that 400 meters continuously,

go to TriathlonTaren.com/SwimDrillProgram.

That is a free series of swim drills

that I've put together that's entirely meant to basically

just build your comfort in the water to the point

that you can get a swim coach, you can sign up for Tower 26,

you can start making big progression.

But if you are so inefficient that you can't yet

do that 400 meter test and complete it successfully,

you're not yet ready to start progressing.

And don't worry, these swim drills,

you can go through them in a month or two,

and then boom, you are on the upswing to speed,

getting under 40 minutes.

I think you can all get there.

So there you go, Trainiacs.

Swim, swim, swim away.

Go to TriathlonTaren.com/SwimDrillProgram,

work on your swimming, and looks like it's gonna be

a little bit less dusty for us around here.

Finally we get some rain, clean this place up.

Later.

Warframe Spotlight – Trinity (2018) - Duration: 4:03.

Good people of Youtube, my name is Spaner, welcome to a Warframe Spotlight, featuring

Trinity.

Possessing powerful restorative and defensive abilities, Trinity excels at supporting her

allies, revitalizing and protecting them from harm.

Trinity's passive is Triage.

She is able to revive fallen allies faster and from further away.

Her first ability is Well of Life.

Trinity marks an enemy which will then be incapacitated.

This enemy's health will be fully restored and will be massively increased while Well

of Life lasts.

Allies that do damage to this enemy will have their health restored by a percentage of the

damage they inflict.

This ability expires after a period of time or when a certain amount of health has been

restored.

When Well of Life expires, if the marked enemy is still alive, its health will be restored

to the same value it was before being affected by this ability.

Trinity's second ability is Energy Vampire.

Trinity marks an enemy which will become staggered while this ability lasts.

The enemy will emit 4 energy pulses across Energy Vampire's duration, which restore

energy to any allies within its radius.

Enemies affected by Energy Vampire will also take damage with each pulse.

Killing an enemy affected by this ability will release all remaining energy pulses at

once.

Trinity's third ability is Link.

Trinity creates links between her and nearby enemies, gaining damage reduction and redirecting

any damage and status effects back to the linked enemies.

Links are created while the ability is active and there are enemies in range.

If the linked enemies die or they are far enough away from Trinity, the links will be

lost.

New links will be created whenever Trinity gets closer to enemy units.

Trinity's fourth ability is Blessing.

Trinity instantly restores the health and shields of any allies within affinity range,

while giving them a damage resistance buff.

Ability Strength mods affect the percentage of damage that is converted to healing of

Well of Life as well as the maximum health that can be restored before the ability ends.

They also affect the damage and energy restored of Energy Vampire and the amount of healing,

shields restored and damage reduction from Blessing.

Ability Range mods affect the cast range of Well of Life, the cast range and the energy

pulse's radius of Energy Vampire and the range of Link.

Ability Duration mods affect the duration of Well of Life, Energy Vampire, Link and

the damage resistance buff from blessing.

One thing to note with Energy Vampire is that the number of pulses is always the same and

the time between them depends on the ability's duration.

The longer it lasts the longer the time between each pulse is.

This concludes Trinity's Warframe Spotlight.

Thank you for watching and I will see you all next time.

LIVING IN NEW YORK CITY: Best $1 Pizza CHALLENGE! - Duration: 5:16.

this video was brought to you by Squarespace whether you need a domain

website or online store make it with Squarespace New York City and a good

slice of dollar pizza are synonymous with one another some think it's the

minerals in the tap water or the thin crust whatever it is

New York is known for good cheap pizza in this video my friend Mike and I will

be going around New York and testing out a bunch of different types of dollar

pizza from different neighborhoods are you ready for this wait a minute is that

a wild Sam Sheppard the first dollar slice pizza location on our list is

Vinny's located in the East Village on 1st Avenue and 14th Street its iconic

New York City a lot of movies are filmed there because it has that kind of not to

top the big tall buildings it's kind of the villagey type of vibe a lot of

action happening a lot of nightlife a lot of restaurants a lot of cool people

you've never been here this is my first time ever trying out the dollar pizza

from this spot have you been here I have been here before I really like this

place I come here a lot we're scaling the pizza on a simple thumbs-up or

thumbs-down based on the cheese the crust and the temperature so here we

have the world-famous slice from Vinny

okay who's right this is pretty close to where the best dollar slices of habit

look at the texture of this cheese cheese I give it a thumbs up the crust

big thumbs up it's bold crispy crunchy well done it's the way

pizza crust should really be in New York City the heat thumbs up this is a thumbs

up now you see why I come here I like I'm not gonna lie I'm very very

impressed it's a beautiful day here in New York Memorial Day weekend so the

city's kind of shutting down and we have our next slice from Joey pepperoni

now Joey pepperoni is a chain but they have pretty good pizza so I hear

Joey's is located in Chinatown yes Chinatown home of knockoff purses and

watches and pretty much just pure chaos before I buy this I will say and I'm

impressed you can see there's a little bit of oregano and some spices on there

so I have a feeling this might be its might being one of the good ones

oh look at that cheese baby that's how you know first of all the cheese stretch

cheese gets a thumbs up keep probably the perfect temperature

for a slice New York City's a fast place there is

nothing faster than handing a guy a dollar and getting a slice of pizza the

crust not quite a thumbs up I'd say the one before here Vinny's was a little

better but it's still like a half so I mean it's not a bad size I'll say that

for a dollar you could do a lot worse for our next dollar slice place we are

in at Chelsea actually it's not a dollar I don't know if you can see the sign but

it's actually a dollar 25 I think they recently changed it I know that I think

wow that's the beats of gravity video it's over so I moved here about six

months ago it was a dollar slice they must have recently changes it's now a

dollar 25 that just doesn't sound right Chelsea is that kind of interesting

middle ground between Midtown and getting down towards the West Village so

on one end you almost are in Midtown it's hustle its bustle and then as you

can see behind me I'm on a street that's very much so like a neighborhood in the

West Village and Chelsea is actually my neighborhood here's the question well

not 25 cent increase make it taste any better we shall find out

cheese thumbs up tastes good not too much not too little

crust thumbs up nice crispy bottom nice crispy edges not too doughy heat thumbs

down I don't even oh if they put this in the

oven they might have just taken it and handed it to you but when you're doing a

dollar slice place during the busy time they're not really gonna leave it in the

oven for that long they just want to make as many transactions as they can

initial thought the cheese thumbs up the crust I give it like a half you know

it's a little too doughy for my liking the heat I have to give a thumbs down

it's almost 90 degrees today in the city but even with the heat I still like my

pizza to be a bit more than kind of aloof I mean it's kind of cold with use

that is it worth the extra 25 cents I think no no it's not no if you're on the

go if you're hungry it's definitely worth it I mean it's only a dollar

twenty-five if by no means is like gourmet pizza without a doubt our

favorite pizza spot was Vinny's in the East Village go check it out

Best Business to Start with $500 - Duration: 5:23.

okay so here's the scenario you've got 500 bucks and you're looking to invest

it into a business that you can get started and build today all right today

we're gonna analyze some of my favorite online businesses so that we can best

identify which is the best business for you to get started today if you only

have 500 bucks in your pocket now this is part two of a three part video series

that I'm doing to best answer the question I always get up Bryan I have X

amount to invest what business should I get started and today we're gonna answer

that question by counting down from fifth best to first

time to throw some businesses to the gauntlet all right coming in at number

five is basically all the businesses that I talked about in the last video

that basically have zero startup costs associated with them so those businesses

include you know consulting tutoring niche subjects on sites likewise an and

starting your own agency now I recommend these businesses to people that are just

starting out because there's minimal risk involved and they require almost

nothing to get started but let's be honest these are a little bit boring so

let's move on coming in at number four is my favorite business bottle and that

is content creation like all the other businesses that I just listed content

creation almost cost nothing to start however unlike those it also has the

added benefits of being passive and increasing in value exponentially as

time goes on yeah once you set up your content correctly on the right platforms

it's going to pay you passively every single month and as time goes on that

value is only going to exponentially increase over the months and years to

come cue the shameless plug for my udemy

instructor pro course which teaches exactly how to do this properly link in

the description below moving on to number 3 is drop shipping now for those

of you that don't know and are unfamiliar to put it simply drop

shipping is basically when you facilitate the sale from a manufacturer

or supplier to a customer you make money by marking up the suppliers price to the

unsuspecting customer for profit now there are countless ways to dropship you

can open up your own Shopify store you can drop ship on sites like eBay or

Amazon or even coupon sites just to name a few

description drop shipping is a great business model to start because you

don't incur that much costs to get your website up and running and you don't

even need to purchase inventory before you make any sales but the reason that

it comes in at number three is because you're probably gonna need about five

hundred bucks if not a little bit more to figure out

your target demographic and really become profitable alright coming in at

number two is Amazon private labeling and amazon private labeling is a

business that is really dear to my heart basically what it entails is getting a

product manufactured that you've identified as having a big enough market

on Amazon with not that much competition seller wise to match that market now

with private labeling you're not necessarily looking to take over an

entire market but you are looking to slice out a little piece of that pie to

be honest with Amazon private labeling 500 bucks is a little bit on the low end

of what I would suggest ordering with your first amount of inventory

I would suggest roughly about you know a thousand to fifteen hundred to really

get it in and rank successfully that's why it comes in at number two all right

finally today's winner is I love it because there's still so much money to

be made now yes it's not passive and you do have to put the work in but it's

really easy to start and the return on your investment is ridiculous now you

can take that 500 bucks that you have and really turn it into about 2 grand in

a week or two with online arbitrage especially the way I teach it through

Amazon and I would say that that's a conservative estimate to be honest

that's not even an over estimate and that's the reason that I'm online

arbitrage is hands-down the winner still though if you're only sold on more

hands-off type of businesses then I would suggest starting with online

arbitrage you know kind of stacking your money up and then coming back and

watching my next video which is the best business that you can start if you have

a thousand dollars spoiler though online arbitrage will still be on there well

there you have it guys we counted them down and really identified the best

business that you can get started if you only have 500 bucks right here right now

and if you're interested in learning any more about any of these businesses you

can check the description below for $10 discount links to my courses I have

courses on all of them as I performed and operated every one of these

businesses profitably you can also head over to my new blog that just launched

El estrés de renovar visado (charla seria al final del vídeo)/ Japón Vlog *English subs* - Duration: 10:06.

Hi guys! How are you? I'm with Andrej.

Today we're going to renew my (work) visa, yay

That's why we're in Cosmosquare (Osaka)

So you're going to see

changes from my camera and the GoPro camera

It's going to be very fun, yay or maybe not

Anyway. It's already time to renew my visa.

It's the third time that I have had to go through the visa process

This will be my third year here in Japan

The truth is, I'm pretty nervous and stressed

Today we're going to Immigration, we're going to see...

...what papers they're going to ask for and, buf...

It's always...

super stressful, because you never know what they're going to ask for

and even though I'm bringing the same stuff as last year

they're definitely going to ask for something different because I changed jobs, they're going to pummel me

But oh well, we'll go through this process together, yes?

and if I get too stressed out, we'll get some tea, and that's all.

So yeah, we just got out of Immigration...

I'm laughing because it's super annoying. Look.

As soon as I get inside, I go to talk to the guy,

and I talk to him in Japanese, with totally normal, good Japanese:

"Hello, I've come to renew my work visa"

And he answers me in Portuguese (?!)

Because he looked at my card, and it says that I'm from Spain, not Portugal, but anyway...

I don't understand Portuguese

He told me I need forms 1 and 6

and that I can understand but if you tell me more in Portuguese

I'll more or less understand but it's more difficult than if you just speak to me in Japanese

...which is the language I spoke to you in to begin with! I just don't understand.

Whatever. It's beautiful out today

We're here in Cosmosquare

and around here you can see the ocean and it's just so pretty!

we'll put up some shots from the GoPro and you'll freak, so PRETTY

This is just like a day with Yu

just going to chill out, talk, that's it

Don't expect a mega awesome blog, it's just to spend a little time together

not much else

Guys, there's nobody in the train

In MY train, the Yu Train. Coming aboard the Yu Train?

Let's go on the Yu Train. Where do you want to go? I'll take you there.

But how cool! There's nobody here guys!

Wow, I can sit wherever the h-

-wherever comes out of my HAT, my haaaaat

Anyway, so, we can just rela--

--AHH, I just hurt myself a lot

Look.

I had a bike accident.

And I scraped up my arm.

And it hurts a lot. I'm left without any skin on my arm.

Terrible, right? My knee, too.

And it hurts a lot.

Shall I tell you what happened? You're gonna lose it.

So I was going home,

and super concentrating, okay, being a good cyclist

All of a sudden, and I was going in a straight line, okay

And a man coming diagonally hit me from behind!

How is it possible that he could crash into me from behind, this guy?!

It's cool, eh, doing vlogs in the train...

In an unexpected turn of events, our heroes find themselves in Namba!

Who would have seen this coming?

(me)

No one.

I'm going to take you to our favorite restaurant in Namba! Let's go.

(around Dotombori, after leaving the Namba underground)

Welcome to the street!

We've taken forever to do the intro this time

Yay

So about the visa... you know that I have a work visa

today I'm going to talk to you about the drama that is working in Japan

this is something that happens to many people

often, they give you a one-year visa, and when you renew it,

you can put in the form...

you can put that you want to renew for one, three, or five years, which is the maximum

and even if you put 5, or your COMPANY puts 3 or 5 since your company can also fill out the form...

...Immigration does whatever it wants.

They usually give you whatever they want.

And often, we immigrants who have been here years and years and years

and we have to renew every year. It's something very stressful and annoying

In my case, as of now,

it's the second time that I renew. This will be my third year in Japan!

And it's only been a little while since I changed jobs (still an English teacher though)

and so I'm a bit nervous

because I think, well, they've given me a form for me, and one for my company, to fill in

And now that I've changed my job, they might want even more documents, because this is...

you go, they tell you what you have to bring, You bring it, and they tell you you have to bring more things.

Because Immigration is like that, you know? It's a tug-of-war

and it stresses me out, gives me anxiety.

and so...

this week I'm going to be like, ugh, let's see if we can finish all the papers

Until I've finished with all of them I'm nervous.

I guess it'll all be fine, they're not going to throw me out of Japan.

But every time I have to renew I always think ah, maybe something bad will happen, you know?

Because of course we who are living here,

working here, we have friends here.. I have a LIFE here.

I love my family in Spain very much

but I want to be in Japan. Japan is where I live

It's the place where I am

So yeah, I want to stay HERE. So let's see what happens.

I'm sure there won't be any problems, all right, because they told me when I changed jobs,

I asked them a thousand times, will there be problems with my visa? And they said no, don't worry, we'll help you renew...

So we hope that it's fine.

Actually it'd be so great if they would finally give me the five-year visa

BUT I don't think it'll happen.

I'll keep you informed, okay? But...

if you see I'm a little stressed these weeks or whatever

now you'll know that I'm doing the visa and it gives me a lot of anxiety.

When I see other YouTubers who are in Japan...

when it's time to renew it's stress central

That's all, folks

Do you like this neighborhood?

It's a place around Dotombori,

that I don't think many people know

and I like it because you can see the temple here (Hozenji Temple)

And the truth is there aren't a lot of people normally.

It's a place I like to come to, sit down...

you can relax in relative silence

People have the image of Dotombori as simply a bunch of stores & restaurants but there's much more.

You know I love Dotombori, very much

It's a place of the city I like because there are so many people

And, truth be told, the first week I was here

the first week was horrible, I felt so alone, so alone

and many days I was thinking, oh, maybe I have to go back to my country...

maybe, maybe I've done something wrong...

and every night I cried, thinking of my dog, my husband (*in Spain for 6 months while Yu was in Osaka)

And now I'm getting sensitive... But...

I remember after the first week, I came here (to Dotombori),

it was SO FULL of people, it made me so happy

like, wow,

I'm not alone. There are so many people.

And I started to talk to the people in my share house, and make friends...

and whenever I didn't know what to do,

I went to Dotombori, and...

to see such crowds makes me happy. I don't know how to explain, it's like it makes me think

how can I feel alone, when there are so many people to meet

and people to talk to, you see?

and it gives me happiness.

And now you'll say, "Yunae is so weird" I'm actually crying now, because

the visa process always brings up so many emotions

Yeah, the first week in Japan was very, very hard.

And lots of times you see Japan YouTubers

and it looks so easy, so exciting, going here and there, telling you my stories

but it's also very hard

You know?

and I think it's also something we should share

that here in Japan it's great and pretty but,

it's hard, too. And that's all.

This was going to be just a going-around blog, hee-hee ha-ha, and now I'm getting all sensitive...

And that's everything, guys.

If you liked this video, SUBSCRIBE and LIKE.

Right now I'm still super emotional

and I'm having trouble singing the ending song... but it's fine, look.

That's it.

we upload every Monday (Sundays in some countries)

And don't worry for me, I'm fine!

Bye, kisses!

I'm going to Dotombori to do silly things like always.

Do I Regret Becoming an Artist? Is There Room on YouTube for Other Creators? · Q&A (250k!!) - Duration: 18:17.

Alright guys welcome back to my channel! It has been a long time since I last did a

Q&A so I thought since we have now passed the big milestone of 250,000

subscribers on this channel- I think that's the first time I've said that out

loud, but how amazing is that!- I thought that since there are

quite a few new people here it'd be great to answer some of your questions.

So about a week ago, I asked on Instagram if you had any questions for me and

quite a few came in so I'm just gonna basically go through as many as I can

and I will link below the previous two Q&A s that I've done just in case the

question that you asked was answered in that. Also if I don't get to a question

don't worry, I will probably use those questions as ideas for videos anyway so

if you asked a question and you're really curious about - hopefully I'll

cover it there and if you didn't get to ask a question then you should be

following me on Instagram- shameless plug now- I'm gonna link it

below just in case you are not following me already. So let's get straight to the

questions. I'm gonna be looking down at my phone probably quite a bit because

that's where I have them all saved. Right and we're just gonna go through the top

comments first, I'm guessing that the ones with the most likes are the ones

that most people are interested in finding out about. So I've got a really

interesting question here from Alanna mccade who recently made the decision to

make art her main focus and is hoping to earn a living from it in the coming

years and they want to know if YouTube is a viable option as an artist, is there

a demand and what future do I see as an artist on YouTube. So in my opinion I do

think that there is potential for artists on YouTube. Something that people

have been saying a lot recently is that the platform is oversaturated which I

couldn't disagree with more honestly. I think there's always room for more

creators because everyone has a unique voice, everyone has something new to

bring to the table. I think it's oversaturated with a lot of

people doing the same thing but if you're going to bring something new,

something different, your own spin on things and absolutely I think if it's

something you want to do then it's definitely worth doing. What future do I

see as an artist on YouTube? I don't necessarily see a future as an artist on

YouTube, I like making YouTube videos and I want to be an artist but I wouldn't

say that I put those two together. I see more of a future for myself as an artist

rather than as a youtuber but I will continue to make videos for as long as I

like making videos and I don't see that

changing anytime soon. This is a good one. Mitch Oliver said 'what do you do to keep

your work area so clean and tidy? Any tips would be greatly appreciated, love

for Minnesota' Well I have a few tips and tricks for

that. So the main thing for me, I think I've touched on this before, but what I

do is; anything that I'm gonna be using regularly, I keep within reach, everything

has a place so if I take something from there I can put it back, if I take

something from there I can put it back, everything goes away nicely and you know

the things that I'm going to be the most are the easiest to get to just so I

don't end up leaving things out when I'm done with them, it's very easy to just

pull open a drawer, put something back. So that would be my main tip for keeping

things organized but also with keeping things clean, one of my main things is I

always have a loo roll right by my desk and my absolute saving grace is a pack

of Dettol wipes- I also use the wilkos own brand wipes because they're only 50p

but just any cleaning up wipes, once I've done some painting and I just want

to quickly you know clean up my desk- I usually use these before and after doing

a painting just to clean my desk off and it gets rid of most things pretty easily

if you haven't let them dry there for too long. I've got a lot of questions

about social media and building a following and also I think a lot of

people- a LOT a lot of people- quite a common thread between these comments was

feeling disheartened with not having as many followers as you would like, not

knowing if you're doing things wrong and feeling like maybe your art isn't good

enough. What I like about this one is the kind of follow-up question of 'how do you

get past feeling so dependent on other people's validation?' and that really hit

a chord with me because that is something that I've struggled with a

huge amount over the years. I am the kind of person where I really need people to

tell me that they like it so I feel like I'm doing something well and doing

it properly, but recently I have switched my focus to more of a place of enjoying

the process of making things rather than putting all my worth on how the finished

piece is going to look. I really enjoy being an artist, I really enjoy making

art and being an artist isn't necessarily about this picture or that

picture or the amount of followers you have.

It's about getting up in the morning and making art and building up a real

collection of things that you are proud of. So as long as you can make art and keep

making art and enjoy it and make art that you're happy with that should be

your main focus. And post it everywhere you want, do all the annoying social

media things that you have to do; the hashtags and the sharing and the SEO and

any other things that you can do your research on and find out about because

they're changing the algorithms all the time online so it's good to keep up with

what each platform wants from you but the main focus should be making art that

you really enjoy and really like and building a community, really appreciating

the followers that you do have already. A lot of people say 'I don't have many

followers' but 50 is a lot of people and 100 is a lot of people and you have to

look it in that way where that's people that are interested in what you're doing

and that's only gonna grow. So that would be my advice on that one, I feel like I

rambled a lot... so weird not preparing for a video and just talking but hopefully

I've been clear on that. Tahlia Fast said 'what is your favorite

podcast?', my favorite podcast at the moment is probably Lore, I really like Lore.

It's just a nice, spooky, almost hypnotic in the way that the guy talks. It really

like draws me in, it's the kind of thing I like to listen to you when I'm doing

watercolor paintings or ink. I don't know why, it just really works well together

so I'd really recommend Lore and other than that I listen to all the really

obvious ones, This American Life, 99% Invisible I think it's called? um I don't

know, I've kind of gone off podcasts recently just because I've been

listening more to like Disney soundtracks and stuff while I work but

Lore and This American Life are probably my top two. Sketchy G

says 'I'm constantly battling with what sort of art style I want to develop or

what mediums I want to specialize in, do you have any advice? Thanks a lot love

your work', thank you! I think that's something that a lot of

people seem to worry about as well, just trying to land their 'thing', their style,

what they use, their colors, and I think the best way to figure it out is to just

keep working, doing you like doing, whatever you're naturally

gravitating towards, just keep doing that even if one day it's realistic stuff and

the next day it's cartoony. Do what feels right in the moment and whatever you're

enjoying and every once in a while it's good to kind of take a step back and

look at the things that you've done and think about what you feel represents you

best and what you got the most out of. But also remember that you don't

just choose that thing and then that's it for the rest of your life and that's

all you're gonna do. It's really a journey with your art, so don't put too

much pressure on yourself to figure out what it is that you want to be doing and

how you want to do it because I can guarantee that this time next year

probably you'll be doing something different. You don't need to know right

now what it's gonna be because it's probably gonna change anyway. Okay Mads

Lacey said 'how do you want your career to shape out in the future, for example

do you want to create a book? PS I love you and your art so much, I've been

watching you for years and it's great seeing you turn art into a

career', thanks Mads! Well that is a really really really good question, it's

something that I've been thinking about so much recently. Obviously if you

remember the beginning of the year when I was having my existential crisis I

would I spent a lot of time thinking about what I am gonna do with my art and

how I would like it to develop and what kind of career I would like out of it

and I don't think that you necessarily have to know but I do feel at the moment

that what I want to focus on is making travel journals and you know just like

travel books almost, maybe not like travel guides but just books of

different cities and different stories of places that I've been to. Like my

Mexico travel journal was probably my favorite thing that I did last year

and it was great to look back on that and think 'yeah that is what I want to

keep doing' so I'm hoping- and well by the time you watch this I will be leaving

for Lisbon in like a day- so I'm hoping to document that in a journal and you

know if I can turn that into something print-worthy then that would be great

but it's just great to be able to record those memories for myself. But yeah, I

would love to do more kind of Illustrated journals that I would I

guess sell and maybe used to inspire people to travel

and go to these places as well. Samar Saeed says 'what is the hardest thing

about being a freelancer or building your own business?'. The hardest thing for

me at the moment is kind of legal stuff and finances, taxes that kind of thing. It

can get really overwhelming when you kind of step back and realize that I'm

just- I'm just a normal person and I don't know about these things and

they're really serious and you know I'm signing contracts and agreeing to things

and not really knowing if I'm doing it properly so it can be very daunting at

times. There's so much information on the internet and there's so many books and

things that you can refer to but when it comes down to it there will always be

little seeds of doubt in your mind where you don't feel experienced enough or

knowledgeable enough to be making particular decisions. Clara Gold studio

said 'how do you urban sketch? maybe this can be a different video or you can just

give quick tips', I actually have a series called Travel Journal Tips, I think there

are just three episodes in that where I have one on urban sketching so that

could be quite useful for you but other than that there are quite a few great

urban sketching youtubers on this platform so I will leave some links

below to some of my favorites. 1,000 years in summer says 'what are your

favorite Netflix shows and what are your favorite things about living in England?'

Favourite Netflix shows, I really like Outsiders where the people all live in the

mountains and they drive quad bikes and stuff. I don't know why I just really

like it. I don't watch much else on Netflix other than Drag Race and films.

I always watch like a scary film every once in a while and then favorite things

about living in England... I don't know about England as a whole because I'm

really bad at traveling around my own country but my favourite things about

living in London are; travel around the city is so easy, I

can get anywhere I want to get within you know 20 minutes most and there's

just so much to do, so much going on at all times even just locally there's just

so much going on at any given time, different festivals, different galleries

all sorts. So yeah I just love the vibrancy and life of it and I also love-

what a lot of people complain about- but I love that everyone just keeps to

themselves. I love that I can get on the tube and no-one's gonna talk to me and I

can get on the bus and no-one's gonna look at me.

That's my kind of city. Al Nosel says 'where do you think you would be today if

you had decided not to pursue arts as a career? I absolutely love all that you do.'

Thank you so much! Where would I be today? Honestly today-today

I would probably still be at Sainsbury's, the supermarket I used to

work at just because I was kind of gonna be there indefinitely, it was a really

good in-between job, a really good 'figuring out what I'm gonna do with my

life' job, I had friends there, I had really flexible hours as well so I

could you know find time to work on my own things in the mean time but also if

I needed money I could you know get in as many hours as I wanted, it was a great

little job so I probably still be there and it's only like round the corner

from my house as well so just perfect. Right well my camera stopped recording

for a little while there so let's see. We're about half an hour into taping so

I will probably just do a few more. artheart12 said 'hi Minnie, I was wondering

how do you keep track of all your ideas for your art?' and I would say if it's a

really visual idea then I will quickly do a little thumbnail sketch either

digitally or in my sketchbook just something really small, really simple to

get the basic idea down and then maybe write notes on it because those little

rushed sketches can be quite confusing to look at like in retrospect. If it's

more of a conceptual idea or maybe an idea for a project then I will note it

down in Trello which is like on the computer and on my phone.

But I discovered through Lavendaire and Lauren Fairweather who are also really

creative people and they use it in really unique ways as well. It's just a

great way to note down ideas and organize things in different lists

different categories and not lose track of all the different things that are

going on in your head basically. I will leave links below to both of their

videos on Trello and just in case you want to check that out and see how you

might be able to use it as well. James Gill said 'do you ever regret becoming a

self-employed artist? I'm looking to become one myself and I'm pretty excited

but slightly afraid about the risks coming with it.' Well James if you are

excited about it then I would 100% recommend

you do go for it. I understand the fear but it is so worth it in the end and I

think that you once you take that leap you'll see it for yourself.

But honestly there was a time back in November I think when I was really

struggling with kind of motivating myself and feeling good about my art and

also feeling about good about my career and what I was doing and where I was

going and I remember one night going out with some friends and just saying guys I

I've had enough, I'm gonna quit YouTube, I'm gonna quit

doing art. I want to go back to Sainsbury's, I just want to make art for

fun again and I want to go to a job where I can just clock out and come home

and not have to think about it anymore, you know just be able to switch off. I

was really just stressed and overwhelmed at the time and it was great to just

kind of get that out and say that but obviously my friends are like 'You're

crazy and that's not gonna happen, you have a great job and you're

great at it and you love it. It might be really hard

right now but you'll come out of it' and I have come out of that and they're

absolutely right you know I'm so lucky to have the job that I have and I

absolutely love what I do I really couldn't think of a better way

to be spending my time and to be living my life, it's like ideal. So it definitely

will get hard but honestly if it's what you want to do it's just so worth it

like the the highs are well worth the lows so really good luck to you James if

you decide to go for it I think that it will be incredible for you. Whatercolor

Gal says 'how long did it take you to teach yourself video editing? that's

the only thing that's stopping me from making my own videos to be honest.' Don't

let that stop you- not a good enough excuse. If you want to start doing it you

need to start doing it, you learn as you go. Take a look- oh my god I can't believe

I'm saying this- but take a look at my first video. I filmed it with my phone, I

put my phone up on a water bottle on the lid of a water bottle and just filmed

down like that and I used the music from the YouTube music library and that was

it that was where I started and you know I gradually learn a thing or two as I go

along. I was editing with Windows Movie Maker back then and you know the whole

thing is trial and error. Now I'm at a point where I'm still learning different

things, I'm still making really silly mistakes, so if you think that you're

going to start out and already know what you're doing, it

doesn't work like that. Just get started. You can do it.

Stop overthinking things. Make a rubbish video. It'll be fine. Okay we're gonna

finish off with a few quickfire questions so Dora Braddock says 'how old

are you?', I am 24, I'll be 25 in a month- two months?- end of June. It's Aaron says

do you have any-... It's Air-One... sorry I know someone else called Air-One. It's Aaron

says 'do you have any unique customer experiences? like has anyone walked up to

you on the street or anything out of the ordinary', well I think I might have told

you the story about when I was at a music festival last summer, in a hurry

Ozzy threw our trainers out with our rubbish so we had no shoes, we went to go

and find them and the girl that dug our shoes out of the rubbish was actually a

subscriber and she was really cool and she was really nice so if you're

watching, thank you for saving my trainers! MadlyPenned so 'do you believe

the pursuit of a creative career is viable in this era of oversaturated

creative media?' A million percent, I think being in the creative industries is the

best thing you can do for yourself in this era of- not even over-saturated

creative media- but you know a world that is going more and more towards valuing

creativity and innovation and creation of things. Art comes in so many different

forms and it's more and more useful nowadays where you know a lot of jobs

that people would have thought were really stable and now almost replaceable

with robots and new technology but you can never really replace an artist of

any kind so I think a million percent that are is a viable career option for

the future. I think it's really one of the best ways to go. Inessa says 'do you

have a go-to snack when you are doing your art and what's your favorite type

of music?', favorite snack to go to, I love green olives with feta cheese, love that!

I just had the earlier today! I also really like salted popcorn.

And favorite music, I listen to a little bit of everything but

mostly garbage. Alright we're going to leave it at that because we have

actually been recording for almost an hour now! I'm going to try

to edit it down to something that is a little bit easier to watch, I've probably been

talking a bit too fast. Today is boiling and I have a lot more to do with the

rest of my day so apologies for that. Thank you guys so much for watching,

remember to follow me on Instagram if you do want to take part in the next Q&A,

that is where I always ask for my questions for those and yeah but the
