Yujin gave birth to her third child recently! [Happy Together/2018.05.24] - Duration: 12:07.- Hello. / - As Myungsoo said,
she's Ki Eunse, not Beyonce.
- She's very famous. / - Exactly.
- Hi. I have no children, / - I see.
but I've been married for six years.
- Really? / - Yes.
I can't really say that I used to be an actress.
- I have... / - You have experience.
That's true. However,
I didn't get married after establishing myself.
I became famous after I got married.
- That's nice. / - I can't call myself an actress
but I used to work as one.
I heard you performed in the same drama as Yujin.
- You two worked together? / - Yes, we did.
We played in the same drama,
but we had only one scene where we appear together.
So I'm not sure if she remembers that,
but she's my senior by so many years.
- So I... / - "By so many years"?
I didn't mean she's much older than me.
- I see. / - Yujin made her debut...
- She has more experience. / - Yujin seems upset.
I thought you were trying to upset her.
I thought she was quite young,
- but then you said... / - Our age difference
- is only two years. / - Only two years.
You two don't have a big age gap.
- Yujin debuted early. / - She debuted at a young age
and became popular immediately.
- Whereas / - She is blushing.
I didn't become famous even after 10 years.
In that sense, she is my senior actress.
Is your name Ki Yonse?
It's Ki Eunse.
There's no one with a name like Yonse.
Eunse looked like she was telling you to stop it.
- Her eyes looked scary. / - Don't go overboard.
I don't think that was too much.
(Intimidated)
I seriously thought her name was Ki Yonse.
- Many people think so. / - Really?
- Yes. / - It's Ki Eunse?
I bet she has as many followers as Beyonce has.
- She's very popular. / - I don't think I do.
- You have many followers. / - You went overboard.
- Is that so? You have / - I see.
twice as many followers as Hyeongyeong.
- Really? / - Of course.
You don't deny it.
(She admits it?)
- I didn't know that. / - "That's possible."
She thinks she's no match for Beyonce,
but Hyeongyeong isn't hard to beat.
It wasn't like that.
Usually, women focus on postpartum recovery,
but Yujin always comes on Happy Together
after giving birth.
- That's right. / - Whenever she has a baby.
It was the same last time she came here.
- She just had a baby. / - That's right.
- She made her comeback... / - That's right.
I came here after giving birth to my eldest child.
- That's right. / - When I had my second,
I came here because of my drama, "Five Enough".
And this is my first show since I had my third baby.
- That's right. / - She's three months old.
(She got invited right after giving birth.)
I got invited again,
so I thought, "I can't miss this chance."
- I thought... / - It was a coincidence,
- but it's different now. / - I'd be sad
if I hadn't been invited.
When our staff members heard you gave birth,
they decided to invite you.
Thank you.
Do you not appear on any other shows?
- Just dramas and this show. / - That's right.
You said you were under pressure to cook here.
I can understand her.
- I was pressured. / - Why?
- Of course. / - Because of expectations?
I found out about the special episodes in May
while I was watching TV.
As you must understand,
I like cooking,
but people expect unusual dishes
on Late Night Cafeteria.
The viewers must have high expectations
since I'm Baek Jongwon's wife.
- I understand. / - That's why...
Don't be pressured as we'll taste your food.
- We're not picky at all. / - Right.
- You have similar tastes? / - Yes, we do.
We all have an immature palate.
- So... / - We're like sixth graders.
I came up with an easy recipe
and got the approval of my husband.
Really?
I asked him, "How's this for Happy Together?"
He said it would be nice,
so I brought the recipe with confidence.
It was approved by Chef Baek.
Late Night Cafeteria only introduce
simple and easy recipes. There's no luxurious dish.
- Those dishes lose even if it's good. / - You lose.
- We hate it. / - That's right.
- No difficult recipes. / - Finish in 10 minutes.
- It's a simple recipe. / - We can't wait long.
Yujin gave birth to her third child recently.
A third child is different from a second child, right?
It must be so hard to go out with all of them.
I can't go out with my youngest child.
I only walk around the house with her.
On weekends, my husband brings our first
and second children to the supermarket.
(They go to a supermarket with their dad.)
I really enjoy that time.
He dotes on our daughters.
Even I get jealous when he plays with them.
(Baek Jongwon dotes on his daughters.)
When he comes home after work...
I barely managed to put them in sleep,
but he wakes them up to play with them.
- He really loves them. / - He must've missed them.
I bet he still loves you as much as before.
I think he has changed.
He loves his daughters that much?
- Very much so. / - Really?
Usually, after the kids went to sleep,
we drank wine together to enjoy the quiet time
and ask about each other's day.
- We liked that time. / - It's nice.
When he comes home,
I open a bottle of wine and wait for him.
But he won't come out of the room.
- I wonder why. / - I see why she's jealous.
He wakes up our daughter and plays with her.
(He definitely dotes on her.)
Are you planning to have another baby?
I know you didn't plan to have your third baby.
But you said you prepare a bottle of wine.
- You can wear a dress... / - She didn't mean...
You're just clueless.
- You'll know soon. / - Right.
- Wine... / - We don't have any plan.
- You don't have a plan? / - No, we don't.
I want to get Yujin's energy.
- I understand. / - She should share it.
- I thought you held off. / - In a natural way.
No, I didn't.
I meant to enjoy the two years' honeymoon phase
after getting married.
I thought I'd naturally have a baby,
- but it wasn't easy. / - It's not easy.
As I said,
today is the Family Month Special Part Two.
This is June's first time on Happy Together.
- Yes, it's my first time. / - I see.
I really wanted to meet you.
Minsoo was surprised when you got invited.
When I got invited to Happy...
It's Happy Together, right?
We pronounce it like this.
- She sounds different. / - When I
received the invitation,
- Minsoo was surprised. / - Why?
He said, "You got invited to the show?"
"Are you sure it's not me they invited?"
I said I was the one who got invited.
He was very surprised.
It looks like Minsoo has no clue at all.
- She's so popular now. / - She's popular.
She's a popular instructor and entertainer.
She's a top star.
- You're a top star. / - That's not true.
I haven't met her before, and she looks so kind.
Gosh, thank you.
I think she looks the same
as she seemed on TV.
- She looks so kind. / - I see.
However, I hear that
she's tough like a gangster to Minsoo.
- Really? / - Hence her nickname,
- Gangster June. / - "Gangster June"?
- That's... / - I've watched the show.
You seemed very strict at home.
In fact, Minsoo said
he had never been treated that well
before we appeared on the show.
He thinks he was treated well thanks to the show.
It's because you two are on cameras.
He thinks he was treated well because of the show?
He must be worried when the staff members
take the cameras away.
"I was treated well."
I bet he wants to go with the staff.
- You're right. / - Really?
He really likes it.
I believe that if your husband is a tough guy,
you must become stronger.
- That's right. / - That's what I think.
- Can you relate to that? / - Right.
It's not easy to live with a tough guy.
- Haha is a tough guy? / - He's not a tough guy.
As you must know,
he's not exactly obedient or easy to tame.
However, the way I see it,
- Haha is afraid of her. / - Is he?
I once saw them arguing.
You keep bringing that up. Should I talk about you?
- I won't do it again. / - Okay.
They made up with each other shortly.
- He knows everything. / - You two looked lovely.
- All couples argue. / - Of course.
I believe it's necessary for a married couple
to argue constructively.
- It looked constructive. / - It was constructive.
What misunderstanding do you have with Myungsoo?
- That's... / - I don't know what you're talking about.
- You'll know what it is. / - Okay.
Myungsoo thinks I go shopping too often
with his wife, Soomin.
- That's right. / - He said Soomin
bought five swede coats because of me.
- He said that on TV. / - It's true.
She bought five swede coats.
Myungsoo said that she went shopping with me
and bought five swede coats saying they were
- cheap because of me. / - She bought five coats.
It's true that you took her there, right?
Yes, but I didn't convince her to buy the coats.
You took her there!
- That's what I asked. / - Let her finish.
Let me make this clear here.
When Soomin meets me on a private occasion,
she shows a lot of interest in my clothes or handbags.
One day, I put on a swede coat.
- She asked where I bought the coat / - I see.
and asked me to take her to the store.
So I went there with her.
I didn't tell her to buy five coats.
You think it's unfair, right?
- It's so unfair. / - Exactly.
Since they were very cheap,
she bought four or five coats.
She bought them at a price for one coat.
You should be thanking me.
- Sorry? / - You should be grateful.
- You gave her a good tip. / - That's right.
- If you think about it... / - Please apologize to me.
There was a misunderstanding.
- You didn't suggest it. / - I didn't.
The misunderstanding has been cleared up.
- I didn't talk her into buying them. / - Okay.
- On your reality show, / - Yes.
I heard you once swore at Minsoo.
- Oh, no. / - Did you swear at him?
I have a wild side now.
It's from living with Minsoo a long time
and hearing him swear.
When I started to learn how to speak Korean,
I couldn't tell informal expressions
from appropriate ones.
Therefore,
I'm sure I learned a lot of swear words.
Unintentionally.
So I use harsh expressions from time to time.
I understand. Where did you swear at him?
I... I really shouldn't say swear words.
I'm afraid I might.
We were in Canada and preparing a surprise prank
- on our eldest son. / - I saw that.
- We went to Canada. / - I watched the episode.
We made it hard for him to come to my parents' house.
We were hiding in the back room.
There's a door stopper with a spring on it
on the wall,
which keeps the door from touching the wall.
It's attached on the wall.
If you touch it,
it makes a noise.
- It makes a sound. / - Like a ringing sound.
When my son arrived,
Minsoo was sitting
on the floor with his foot on the door stopper.
I think it was completely pushed against the wall.
- "Completely"? / - Pardon?
- Completely? / - It was pushed completely.
- I thought it was English. / - It's a Japanese word.
It's a Japanese word.
A Japanese word suddenly slipped out of my mouth.
The spring was completely bent
- like this. / - I see.
The moment he moved his foot,
- it made a loud twang. / - Of course.
As soon as I heard the noise,
- I couldn't help but become angry. / - I understand.
Think about it. It was an important moment.
You meant to surprise him, but the noise ruined it.
I wonder what she said.
"You idiot!"
Oh, my gosh.
(She never disappoints us.)
I said that.
- To Minsoo? / - Yes.
- I am sorry. / - My goodness.
- Everyone has said that before. / - Right.
We've all said it before.
It just came out at that moment.
- It just came out. / - We've shot 60 episodes by then,
- and my true nature was captured. / - I'm sure.
I guess you use that expression sometimes.
- I have to say it. I have to. / - You have to say it?
She used the Japanese term for "a lot"
quite skillfully.
(She speaks three languages interchangeably.)
It's strangely elegant.
She says vulgar words elegantly.
You don't feel bad even when you get cursed at.
- Is that right? / - It sounds good.

Westworld 2x06 Inside "Phase Space" (HD) The Cradle Behind the Scenes - Duration: 4:47.ELSIE HUGHES: The Cradle.
I haven't been down here in years.
If cold storage is where the hosts' bodies are taken,
to rot, where do their minds go?
JEFFREY WRIGHT: These new labs, previously unexplored
by the audience, previously unexplored by Bernard,
are just another kind of fascinating level.
The Cradle is a space in which the hosts' copies are stored.
CARLY WRAY: It could have just been a server room,
but we wanted it to look and feel a little bit more...
I mean, futuristic, for lack of a better word.
We wanted it to feel like a nuclear reactor.
Not like a server room. I've shot a lot of server rooms,
they're really boring, they're really noisy,
'cause they use air.
Water is a much more efficient way to cool things,
and it's also creepier.
There's something creepy about the idea
of this information being sort of drowned or subsumed in water.
That's probably the most exciting thing for me
this season, just in terms of set extension.
It's essentially like walking into a giant haunted house.
You know, it's like walking into a room
where there are thousands of brains,
maybe hundreds of thousands, just alive in there.
ELSIE: It's like a hive mind.
Every single one of them is in here. Alive.
The thought that's gone into the rationale behind
the technology and the way the technology fits into
the storytelling is really well considered
by Jonah and Lisa and our writers.
JONATHAN NOLAN: The idea that the hosts
always have another version of their mind that is collocated,
all the things that make them appealing to the guests,
are the result of countless hours of refinement.
You wouldn't want to lose one of these things.
So, a question that we wanted the audience to be asking
themselves that we didn't answer in the first season is...
What happens when you do lose one of these things?
What's the backup?
LISA JOY: No matter what happens to your body,
you can be born again as long as we have these pearls.
That's where their programming, their memories, are stored.
That was one thing that was great working with Jonah,
is trying to develop what this pearl image was.
NOLAN: Without slowing down to explain all of it,
you wanted to feel intuitively,
how the technologies have changed.
It's oddly futuristic and retro-mechanical all at once.
The pearls are potentially a brain for each one of the hosts.
It's a three-dimensional neuro-plastic device...
The very center of this being.
Around the pearl are all these things
that kind of protect it.
These pearls are inside the hosts' head and then,
what holds them and how does it connect to their systems and--
And-- And made this really cool, artistic piece of what actually
goes on in these characters.
HOWARD CUMMINGS: And it's pretty much their brain, soul,
everything that's in them, it's downloaded
into these golf ball-sized information data holders.
Ford drew the curtain here too.
I can see the responses it's issuing but...
I can't see how.
SHANNON WOODWARD: We realized that the Cradle itself
is sending messages throughout the park.
So, the only way to find out what's going on,
Bernard decides,
is to extract his pearl and put him into the Cradle.
It's meant to read host data directly.
It's set up for auto-extraction.
ELSIE: That's for older hosts, Bernard.
The extraction, it can be done in many different ways.
ELSIE: With an articulated skull architecture,
your head's just like mine.
Just let it do its thing.
Pull me out in an hour.
JUSTIN RALEIGH: We've developed this extraction process
that is used for Bernard, specifically.
I haven't turned your pain down yet.
There's no time.
RALEIGH: It's a combination of visual effects and the helmet
and some practical elements from us as well.
The helmet goes on and within this helmet,
it does all the work for you.
(WINCING, GROANING)
It's a very disturbing image.
(WINCING)
I think the whole process is pretty intense.
(GRUNTS)
(MACHINE WHIRRING)
WRIGHT: It's really fascinating, challenging,
thought-provoking, surprising stuff.
JAY WORTH: To be able to see the layer onion
of Westworld continue to get peeled back has been awesome.
What do you see in there?
What else is in the Cradle
is something we'll come to discover.
DR. ROBER FORD: Hello, old friend.

6 Ways Empaths Sabotage Their Relationships Without Noticing - Duration: 4:02.6 Ways Empaths Sabotage Their Relationships Without Noticing
No one wants a failed relationship.
However, sometimes things happen even without you realize it.
If you are an empath, you may not know that these 6 things actually can make relationship
crumble into pieces.
While one might arguing that being an empath is really nice with such a gifted ability,
but in relationship, they might not have an easier time than others in navigating the
emotional feelings.
Unlike any other people, the mind and heart of an empath function differently, and because
of that, their relationships can often fall into atypical patterns.
So, it is decided then that being an empath is actually difficult, especially when it
comes to relationship.
Truthfully, just like any of us, some of empaths relationship are healthy, and others might
not.
But keep in mind that an empath is more likely to experiencing some relationship problems
than a non-empath might be.
And by any means, they will also respond to these problems in an unusual ways, and sadly
it's not always healthy, which is why an empath often sabatoge their relationships.

#1 - Thinking for your partner
Empaths are known for their hyper sensitivity to feeling.
Moreover, they also do not like any conflict.
However, conflicts do happen, and it is necessary to solve it.
Empaths, however, often generate assumptions based on the mind-reading skillset.
It is not ideal since they will miss the opportunity of conversation between the empaths and the
partner.
#2 - Speaking for your partner
Another problem lies on your ability to read your partner's mind.
It is also part of yourself that you like to help others.
Unfortunately, if you're always spoil your partner by giving what they want without them
asking, it actually disrupts the possibility of communication.
After prolonged period, the partner or even you start to think that the silence creates
boredom.
Emotional needs sometimes require heart-to-heart conversation, and you should make sure it
is provided.
#3 - Not Looking After Your Needs
Another simple yet can be fatal character is related to how you take care of yourself.
Most of the time, you just want to take care others.
Though it is sometimes good, it turns out to be disadvantageous later on.
If you are wondering why, it is because there is always a glimpse demand of attention from
your partner that you will never receive.
#4 - Compromises your need
In time of emotional escalation, it is absolutely not an ideal situation.
However, a relationship can be ruined as the empaths always compromising their needs and
their demands even though they may bring positive impacts to their relationship.
#5 - Not expressing yourself
This is a not-really nice trait from empaths.
They tend to be silent as they can read what people want easily.
However, their needs are not achievable since people or universe around them do not know
what the empaths want.
#6 - Broken boundaries
Relationship requires understanding from two-sided parties which eventually has their own interest.
Empaths, unfortunately, do not like crossing their boundaries especially when it comes
to beliefs.
Well, those are the 6 ways an empath will sabotage their relationships without noticing.

Ki Eunse's love story: "I wanted to look cool" [Happy Together/2018.05.24] - Duration: 8:19.Your husband fell for you after seeing you tape a box?
- Me? / - Yes. Were you...
- At a grocery store. / - At a grocery store?
- You were taping a box. / - I love grocery shopping.
He also loves grocery shopping so much.
We used to go grocery shopping often.
He was paying his items,
and I was packing everything in a box with my know-how.
You have a know-how.
- You need to be fast. / - I was packing.
He saw me from the side and loved it.
I was organizing and moving things around in the box.
He said he fell in love with me when he saw that.
(When you're in love, everything looks lovely.)
I guess people fall in love instantly.
There are certain points.
I heard he proposed to you at a blowfish restaurant.
The proposal?
I found out about it through TV news.
It said I got an apartment as a gift.
There were news like that.
I would like to see where that apartment is.
- There was a rumor. / - It wasn't true.
- Exactly. / - Yes, there was.
What did you get?
I still haven't got anything.
She received his love.
Even the wedding ring was from his mother.
- She passed it on to me. / - She passed it on to you.
- It was his mom's ring. / - We were having a meal.
- That's so nice. / - He was sitting down.
He fixed his leg posture.
(He somewhat kneeled down.)
- My gosh. / - He put it on my finger.
On TV, people keep saying I got apartments and so on.
I wonder when and who
- received those things. / - "Didn't you get it?"
- I didn't get anything. / - I thought something
came out from the blowfish since they ate blowfish.
- Didn't you? / - Right.
- A ring in a blowfish. / - Or a special dish.
- It's the contrary. / - This is...
He didn't even propose to me properly.
That was it?
- That was it! / - Really?
But here's a thing.
I can't drive for the life of me.
I have the worst sense of direction.
It's not that I can't drive.
I'm bad with directions.
If the GPS is not working
or I get lost just for a second,
I end up at a wrong place.
When that happens, I call my husband.
Even if he's in a meeting or doing something important,
he asks me why I called. Other times,
he'll say he'll call me back,
but if I tell him that I'm lost,
he drops everything he's doing.
He asks, "What do you see? Where were you going?"
- He's Superman. / - He always put me first
when I can't find my way.
He knows that I'm about to have a breakdown.
When that happens, he tries to
- calm me down. / - He calms you down.
He asks where I wanted to go and any landmark.
"Tell me the signs you see."
- He's so sweet to me. / - He's reliable.
- I feel safe. / - That's not easy to do.
"Geez, you shouldn't have gone that way."
- "Why did you go there?" / - "Hey, come on."
"I told you to take a cab!"
"My gosh, look at what you've done to my car."
This isn't easy. It's hard to stay calm.
- He's the best at that. / - I see.
- It's about Eunse. / - Okay.
Before you married your husband,
I heard you two almost broke up.
But you went back to him and made up.
Your husband must be very handsome.
If you don't mind, what does he do?
He used to run a gaming business.
- What about now? / - Now he's just unemployed.
He used to be in a gaming business.
- Well, this is... / - Doesn't it mean...
He's on a hiatus.
Which Internet cafe is he at? Where can I meet him?
I'd like to meet him.
He looks manly.
- He's handsome. / - He resembles Woosung.
We'd been dating for a year.
We broke up for some time.
During that time...
For the first time, I felt the pain of a breakup.
- After you broke up? / - Yes.
I was 28 years old then.
I'd never felt that until then.
- Every sad song was my story. / - Right.
- I cried every time. / - You loved him a lot.
You must've really loved him.
I wanted to try everything I could.
I knocked on his door while crying.
I even got drunk. I did everything.
Don't guys do that?
- Why did you do that? / - I couldn't let him go.
- But the thing is... / - Is that so?
He opened the door and pushed my head.
- Your husband did that? / - He said, "Go. Go home."
- He pushed my head. / - My gosh.
He treated me like that.
"I have nothing to talk about. Go home."
"Did you drink?" He talked to me like that.
- After I was humiliated, / - Okay.
I went back home and thought for a while.
His memory of me...
(It would be the last memory.)
- Can I say "a loser"? / - No.
No.
- Why not? / - We're a major network.
- Say you looked lame. / - Yes, I looked lame.
- That was so funny. / - What does that mean?
That was an accurate description, though.
- So... / - What did you learn?
"A loser?"
- Don't learn that word. / - Really?
- What does that mean? / - It means pathetic.
You can't use that word.
- Is that so? / - It means miserable.
- It means miserable. / - So what happened then?
- It means "pitiful". / - I looked pathetic.
Making that as his last memory of me saddened me.
That day, I dolled up the best I could.
I did my hair and makeup.
- I wore my best outfit. / - I think that's
more pathetic.
- No, wait. Listen. / - You were a bigger loser.
- Go on. / - That was
- one-sided love. / - It's just like the film.
I went to see him while looking my best.
I told him I had something to give
and asked him to come down, and he came.
I had some of his stuff since he was my boyfriend.
I returned his things.
He told me to leave after that.
- I said we should talk. / - She sounds cool.
"We should talk a little."
- She's getting more pathetic. / - Right.
- You sound pathetic. / - When will she be cool?
- It's like a film. / - I was endlessly pathetic.
When I said we should just talk for a bit,
he asked me what I wanted to talk about.
"I don't have anything specific to discuss."
Why did you say that?
- That's lame. / - But I tried not to look pathetic.
- I tried to be confident. / - What could she say?
- I tried to sound cool. / - Right.
- You tried to be cool. / - "I thought a lot."
"After giving it some thought, it was my fault."
- That was sudden. / - Yes.
- That's the lamest. / - Come on.
If you want to play it cool,
you weren't supposed to say it was your fault.
- "Who do you think you are?" / - Exactly.
- "Do you think you're great?" / - Exactly.
You should've just left.
You should've said, "Have a nice life."
How was that your fault?
No, I loved him too much.
- We can't intervene / - Right.
- in their relationship. / - It's different.
When we were listening to her...
- What happened next? / - So I said,
"After giving it some thought,"
"we should get married."
- That was sudden. / - Out of nowhere?
He went, "What?"
Actually, he wanted to know how committed I was.
But...
Marriage is the biggest commitment.
- Right. / - I asked him to marry me.
I told him not to think about it right away
- or answer right away. / - You kept your cool.
I said I'd give him a month to think it over.
I told him to think hard about it for a month.
And if he still wants to break up after that,
I said I'd accept our breakup.
- That was so cool. / - Great. He's hooked now.
So you didn't
- call him for a month? / - I gave him a month.
- You really didn't call? / - No, I didn't.
- That's hard. / - It's not easy to do.
I'll acknowledge that's pretty cool.
He didn't use up the whole month. On the 29th day,
- he called me. / - What did he say?
He said he wanted to meet me that day.
- I thought he missed me. / - Of course.
- That's what I thought. / - You got the control.
When we met up,
he told me he still wanted to break up.
He still didn't think we were meant to be.
- What? / - Seriously?
- This wasn't the end? / - It's a soap opera.
He still wanted to break up?
- He wanted to break up? / - What was that?
- What happened? / - I'm so curious.
He must have explained it to you later
what his reason behind that was.
He really thought we weren't good together.
As his wife,
I had to take care of his family and so on.
He questioned if I was ready for that life.
He didn't think I was the right fit for that.
You really love your husband wholeheartedly.
- You really love him. / - I married him
- because I love him. / - Okay.
I thought to myself I'd be a great wife.
For some reason, I wanted to prove him wrong.
That's how it all started.
I realized he made me want to become a better person.
- My gosh. / - That's right.
- That's right. / - It's a happy ending.
June, he proposed to you after only three hours?

Late Night Cafeteria: "Today's menu is..Minsouvlaki!!" [Happy Together/2018.05.24] - Duration: 9:48.Late Night Cafeteria's menu today is
Minsouvlaki, which June's going to cook.
You're going to try it
and decide whether or not it will go on the menu.
Did you expect this food to be voted?
- I had no idea. / - Right.
I had no idea.
- Everyone's dishes were very good today. / - Yes.
I guess they were curious about this one.
When I see food,
I know what it would taste like, but not today.
- Really? / - Okay.
(You can never guess what it tastes like.)
- All right. Let's get cooking now. / - Okay.
Unfortunately,
I couldn't marinate this meat in advance.
It should be small enough
- to cook quickly and eat in one bite. / - Okay.
I usually marinate this in advance.
- Pour olive oil over the meat. / - Olive oil.
Add it here, then...
- This is... / - Minced garlic.
Add minced garlic.
And a little bit of salt.
- Just a little. / - Just a little.
This is the Italian ingredient I told you, oregano.
Add oregano.
- Oregano! / - Oregano.
Then add a bit of black pepper.
- It's very simple. / - Then...
Lemon extract is the most important.
You need to add lemon extract.
It's not simple at all.
It's simple. Just that.
You have a very comforting voice.
Then you mix it.
And you're going to marinate it.
- I usually prepare a lot of this. / - For a day?
I make several plastic bags of it...
and freeze them.
- In the freezer. / - So this meat
- is always on standby. / - You can cook at anytime.
- Standby. / - Standby.
It's nice that I can also learn English.
It's a win-win situation.
I'll let it rest for a second.
It's a bit hard to pronounce the name of this sauce.
- Tzatziki. / - Tzatziki?
- Tzatziki. / - Tzatziki?
- Tzatziki sauce. / - Tzatziki sauce.
This is garlic sauce.
This is sugar-free plain yogurt.
Add minced garlic.
- Cucumber. / - Cucumber.
You can chop it even smaller.
Then add lemon extract.
Just add these three.
- Okay. / - The sauce is ready.
- Okay. / - Just those three.
- Just those three. / - They make the sauce.
This is pitta bread.
- Pitta bread? / - Pitta bread.
Pitta bread is pocket bread.
There's a space inside it.
Like this.
- So inside this... / - You can put food in there.
You can put food inside this pocket.
If you don't have this,
- you can use any bread. / - Any bread?
You can use a hot dog bun or anything.
But it's nicer with pitta bread.
- Okay. / - And now,
- I'll roast it. / - Okay.
Do you have a role today?
- I'll be your assistant. / - I see.
Let's heat up the frying pan.
- Yes. Let's heat it up. / - Yes.
You don't need to add oil here again.
There's already oil in the pork.
Let's stir-fry everything.
- You talk comfortably. / - Do I?
- You sound like a chef. / - Really?
- There's nothing complex. / - I know.
I love the way you speak and your sentences.
I'm being very careful.
She's very nice.
The pork will be good just by itself.
It smells nice.
- Do you smell it? / - I'm hungry.
Yes.
- This smells nice. / - Yes.
It smells different because it's domestic.
Yes.
Come on. It all smells the same.
- How is it different? / - Describe it.
It smells different because of the olive oil.
This isn't what we usually smell.
- It smells... / - It smells western.
The smell of the Mediterranean sea.
- "Mediterranean sea." / - It does.
Oh, the smell.
- It smells different. / - I know.
- It does, right? / - Yes. The Mediterranean Sea.
- It looks good. / - It looks really good.
This looks better than what we had before.
Can you try a piece of meat now?
- Just meat. / - I'll have a small piece.
If you look at this,
there should be enough meat.
There should be meat in every bite.
Don't just put it on one side.
The smell...
- Isn't it different? / - Yes.
- Try it. / - It smells different.
It's good meat.
- It must be good. / - Do we have to share it?
- It's good. / - You put meat first,
vegetable, sauce then meat one more time?
- Yes. / - Just meat alone is good.
- Evenly. / - Meat is good by itself.
- One will be enough. / - June.
Add enough sauce.
Try it when it's still hot.
Who wants to try it first? Yujin?
- Me? / - Since you're the oldest.
- Thank you. / - You have three children.
- Try it when it's hot. / - Okay.
(One big bite)
- She makes it look good. / - She makes it look good.
- I know. / - She makes it look good.
- How is it? / - A lot of meat, please.
- How is it? / - How is it, Yujin?
- Good? / - Do you taste Greece?
- Does it taste good? / - It's healthy.
It's healthy and the meat inside
- makes you full. / - It's good.
I can't wait.
It was a good decision to try it.
- Isn't it good? / - Yes.
- It's good. / - Oh, yes.
- I'm more curious now. / - I learned something.
The sauce is pretty addictive.
- The meat is... / - We should give one to Hyeongyeong.
This is good because meat is warm.
It's always good when it's just made.
- One will make you full. / - We need more meat.
There's some we made in the back.
- Saeho. / - Thank you.
- What an honor. / - That looks good.
- May I eat it now? / - One for me, please.
You can try the one she made, Eunse.
- Thank you. / - Thank you.
- Already... / - I could give you this,
but this will be warmer.
- To make you desperate. / - Right.
(What does it taste like?)
The sauce is unbelievable.
It's souvlaki sauce.
Because she added yogurt,
I thought it would taste like yogurt.
Me, too. That's what I thought.
But it doesn't taste like yogurt.
You'd think this is mayonnaise.
- But it's yogurt. It's a healthy alternative. / - Yes.
Women will love this.
- What do you think, Byul? / - I love it.
I can't really taste the yogurt.
Some people don't like yogurt.
Some people don't like yogurt sauce.
If you change the ratio of the ingredients,
you'll taste more yogurt, but not too much.
- It's not stale. / - Because of lemon juice.
Lemon juice gets rid of the stale taste.
It's like it's from a store.
There's still a taste of Korea because of the garlic.
- Right. / - It's not oily.
There's so much garlic.
- Would you like to open a shop with me? / - Oh, my.
You can sell it along with the sandwich.
Toast on one side and this on the other.
This isn't too heavy for the night.
Actors are worried about their health and weight.
- It's perfect for them. / - Yes.
What I like about this is
that you usually need a soda with something like this.
You don't get thirsty at all.
You'll get thirsty if you keep eating.
Don't you dare ask for water.
You know...
"Don't you dare ask for water."
We can tell from the way you eat.
You're all enjoying it.
- Yes. / - It's luxurious.
- You think so, Eunse? / - Yes.
- I'm glad. / - How do you feel
- seeing them enjoying it? / - I'm very grateful.
This will be good for
when you're hungry. Byul added more sauce.
You love the sauce.
We have good menus today.
You can make this more often for your husband.
I think he never had it before. He loved it.
Lately, I'm very busy.
- "Lately, I'm very busy." / - I can tell.
I'm so busy that I don't have time for this.
I used to make this for him.
Lately, I don't have time for that.
Just because they like it,
- it doesn't mean it'll be a menu. / - Of course.
These people will vote again.
- Here are the paddles. / - For now,
- no one left any food. / - I finished it.
Eunse's enjoying it. So is Byul.
- Yujin too. / - I'm done.
Hyeongyeong hasn't done it for a long time.
- It was really good. / - Yes.
She doesn't look like an actress.
Here's the question of the hour.
Is this Minsouvlaki good enough to be on the menu?
You will have to decide it.
If you think it should be on the menu,
please raise your paddle.
If you think it's not good enough to be on the menu
even though you enjoyed it, stay still.
- Do we vote as well? / - Yes.
Hyunmoo and Myungsoo will vote too.
- Let's vote now. / - Okay.
Late Night Cafeteria menu.
One, two, three.
Three.
It's unanimous.
Thank you.
So for Late Night Cafeteria Special
for the family month,
Minsouvlaki will be on the menu.
(June's Minsouvlaki)
- Thank you. / - Congratulations.
- It's so nice. / - I hope you enjoy
your Korean pork prize.
- Thank you. / - Thank you.
- I can't believe it. / - Good job.

He can't believe Defconn is still single! [2Days & 1Night Season 3/2018.05.20] - Duration: 9:32.- Excuse me. / - Yes?
How do I get to Engineering 1 Building?
- Go that way. / - That way?
- Yes. / - What year are you in?
I'm in graduate school.
I'll be a freshman in 2019.
(What?)
I start next year.
(The year 2019 doesn't look bright.)
I start next year.
(The students welcome him nonetheless.)
(They escort him to the building.)
Which cafeteria is good?
You have to go down more.
Really?
You have to go down 78 Stairs.
- 78 Stairs? / - Yes.
Joonyoung got 78 Stairs.
(Laughing)
Why are you laughing?
- He's dead. / - Really?
- It's a good workout. / - I see.
It's very steep.
- It's a crazy staircase. / - Yes.
- It's over there. / - Okay.
- Right here? / - Yes.
I'll see you again later.
- Okay. / - Okay.
(Thank you so much. Bye!)
They're all so nice.
(He arrives at Engineering 1 building.)
I will enter Engineering
(He's excited.)
1 Building.
(He's on his way to meet his partner.)
Lecture hall.
Here it is.
(His partner is in Room 109.)
This is where he is.
(He walks in quietly.)
Is anyone here?
(Isn't there anyone?)
Hello?
Welcome.
(Who is the squid partner?)
(Perhaps his last name is Oh.)
Hello.
There's squid.
It's the same.
- I have the legs. / - Legs.
- If we... / - Put them together...
- Combine the two. / - They will
- become one, right? / - Right. Yes.
- He's so good at Korean. / - Thanks.
Seriously.
(Nice to meet you.)
He's my partner.
I'm from Kenya.
I'm Odongo Ngome O'Keller Francis.
(Odongo, Materials Science and Engineering)
(He is from Kenya.)
Dongo, Dongo, Dongo.
(He can say it twice as fast.)
We're a good team.
- I'm Defconn. / - Defconn.
- Defconn. / - Brother Defconn.
- Yes. / - Okay.
- Do you like squid? / - Yes.
Really?
People gave me a nickname.
They call me squid.
No, you look like Jay-Z.
(He gives off a Jay-Z vibe.)
(Hey, bro!)
Are there dried squid in Kenya?
I never had it there.
- Did you have it here? / - Yes.
- With drinks? / - Yes.
(Odongo knows what it's about.)
- Soju? / - Soju with makgeolli.
(He has Korean sentiments.)
What do you study here?
- What I do is... / - Yes.
Korea is famous for
- IT and semiconductor. / - Yes.
I'm checking the parts that go into the device
- to see if they work. / - Testing.
- Yes, testing. / - So you test semiconductor parts.
That's a microscope.
- Is that a microscope? / - Yes.
It's a very expensive equipment.
It costs more than five million dollars.
- Really? / - Yes.
You're in charge of this costly equipment?
- Yes, I'm in charge of it. / - Jay-Z, baby.
(Respect)
But you are more precious than this equipment.
- How was it? / - You talk so well.
You are voluble.
Talking is my way of surviving.
(He's like a comedian.)
Sam Okyere, you better work harder.
You have a rival now.
- Turn off the lights. / - Okay.
- Press it. / - Okay.
This is the microscope of microscopes.
The microscope of microscopes.
(Delicate hand movements)
(Sharp glances)
(He's calmly operating the microscope.)
We can see the surface.
What is that symbol?
It's micrometer.
It's 0.2 micrometers.
If we magnify it higher,
we can see the atoms.
- We can see the atoms? / - Yes.
(We can even see the atoms.)
It's 2 nanometers.
Is this nano?
They are regularly arranged here.
If I spot a single atom missing...
- That means there's a flaw in the equipment? / - Yes.
It becomes a huge problem.
There's a Korean saying for this.
Seeing is believing.
It doesn't matter how many times I tell them.
They'll only believe it when they see it.
It's my role.
I have to prove them that there's no problem
in terms of atomic view.
He can speak Korean better than Jongmin.
- No. / - You'll meet him later.
There's this guy.
Do you live here?
Yes, I live here in the flat with my family.
With your parents?
My parents are in Kenya.
I'm here with my Korean family.
- Your Korean family? / - Yes, my wife.
- Your wife? / - Yes.
- Are you married? / - Yes, I am.
- You're a married man? / - Yes.
You're a married man.
(He's so charming.)
You are married.
How about you?
(It's a forbidden question.)
(Defconn's very naive.)
I am not married.
You should try harder.
You'll be in a big trouble.
You talk just like my mother.
- You're like my mom. / - I'm worried about you.
I can't believe that I'm talking to you.
Me, too.
I can't believe you're still not married.
(He can't believe Defconn is still single.)
- Oh, gosh. / - Right?
It's hard to get married in Korea.
(It's all the society's fault.)
You two have to clear this mission
to have lunch together.
(Romantic lunch in the campus)
If you can't clear it, you two will have to starve.
There's a chance we don't get to eat in this show.
If we lose the game.
What do we do if we don't get to eat?
In any situation, eating comes first.
- He's addicted to proverbs. / - No, I'm not.
Here's the mission.
Please read it for us.
"Listen to the first part of the proverbs"
"and complete it."
Each person gets a turn.
Isn't it disadvantageous for him?
He just said all the proverbs he knows.
Yes, I said all of them.
- You're out of it, right? / - Yes.
He used up all the proverbs he knows.
But let's try and see.
Listen carefully.
"Nice words..."
"For nice words."
He's smart.
My turn.
- "Tread on a worm..." / - "And it will turn."
Correct.
- "Old habit..." / - "Dies hard."
(He got it correct three times in a row.)
(They'll have lunch at this rate.)
- Oh, you're good. / - Let's eat together.
(It's important for Defconn to have meals.)
- Do you trust me? / - Yes.
(I trust you.)
"It's never around..."
One, two, three.
"When you need it."
(Goosebumps)
(It's embarrassing for Defconn.)
Are you serious?
(He's the king of proverbs.)
How is this possible?
I knew this proverb.
I'm sorry, but you didn't get a point.
(The staff is trying to get hard questions.)
Be ready.
(It's the fifth question.)
"Every child is..."
(It's a crisis for the king of proverbs.)
Try them all.
"Every child is..."
(Defconn's acting hard.)
Are they all dear?
"Dear to his parents."
- He got it right. / - But you gave hints.
The answer is "Every child is dear to his parents".
It's the sixth question.
"Rain on..."
One, two, three.
"Someone's parade."
- Correct. / - Yes.
Let's go with the next question.
The mission's cleared if you get this one right.
(Let's go, Odongo.)
"Bad news..."
(The answer is "travels fast".)
(Will Odongo know about this?)
"Travels fast."
- "Bad news travels fast." / - That's right.
- Correct. / - It's correct.
(They'll have lunch together.)
You're good.
Director, let's try a few more.
(Defconn's impromptu request)
He knows everything.
- "Costs are..." / - "Greater than benefits."
(Costs are greater than benefits.)
(He's like a proverb machine.)
"It's just a coincidence that the two events..."
- "Happened at the same time." / - It's correct.
(He really is the king of proverbs.)
Odongo.
You got in this school for proverbs, right?
No, I didn't.
He knows so many proverbs.
"Don't bother trying the impossible."
"You are out of your league."
- We won anyway. / - I know the answer.
Do you know what it means?
"Don't try the things I can't do."
That's right. It means don't be greedy.
Still... "Little strokes fell great oaks."
- That's right. / - Don't give up.
Why don't you give them the questions?
- Hold on. / - Come here.
Try them.
Maybe not proverbs.
- How about four-character idiom? / - Okay. Let's.
"Gak Ja."
(It's a four-character idiom by Odongo.)
"Gak Ja Do Saeng"?
- "Gak Ja Do Saeng"? / - No.
- What is it? / - It's incorrect.
- "Gak Ja Mu Chi". / - "Gak Ja Mu Chi".
"Gak Ja Mu Chi".
"Gak Ja" means you have a horn.
- "Mu Chi" means no teeth. / - What does it mean?
It means no human can have everything.
Some animals have horns, but they don't have teeth.
It means nobody is perfect.
Isn't that a proverb from Kenya?
No, it's a Korean proverb.
Really? "Gak Ja Mu Chi".
It's my first time hearing it.
I think he's a foreigner.
It's my first time hearing it.
- Let's try again. / - You're smart.
- Odongo is feeding me. / - Yes.
- I'm treating you. / - That's right.

Is this Thai food?♥ So Yujin's "Ms. So's Pad Thai Ramyeon" [Happy Together/2018.05.24] - Duration: 3:58.It's time for the third dish.
- It's very cheap. / - Goodness. It's very cheap.
2.10 dollars, 3 minutes and 50 seconds.
If it's tasty, victory is guaranteed.
You should pick a dish you want to eat the most.
Let's see the next dish. In one, two, three.
(The third dish is revealed.)
- I am going crazy. / - It's ramyeon.
(How much can ramyeon transform?)
(It has the taste of Southeast Asia.)
(It's Thai food that costs 2.10 dollars.)
My goodness.
- It's here. / - It looks the best.
My goodness.
- Whose dish is this? / - It's my favorite.
The ramyeon smells amazing.
Is it your dish,
- Yujin? / - Yes.
It looks delicious.
How does it only cost 2.10 dollars?
- It's Yujin's dish. / - Yes.
- It looks delicious. / - All the dishes are nice.
This is a perfect dish after bread.
- It looks delicious. / - What is it called?
It's Ms. So's Pad Thai Ramyeon.
It's like pad thai.
Instead of rice noodles,
I used ramyeon because it's handy.
- Pad thai. / - It's like pad thai.
It's made with ingredients at home.
If you order jokbal,
you get garlic and chili.
If you order jjajangmyeon, you get pickled radish.
I used those ingredients.
- The leftovers. / - It's bound to be tasty.
You used the ingredients
- in the refrigerator. / - They are common.
- I will give it a try. / - Describe the taste.
How did you get it to taste like pad thai?
Try it and see if it tastes like it.
Does it taste like it?
- Yes, it does. / - I can smell it.
It tastes more like it if you add proper ingredients.
How does it taste like pad thai?
- It looks very similar. / - This is...
- It's amazing. / - The smell alone makes me salivate.
I want to try it.
- You didn't use sauce. / - No.
- Then how does it taste like pad thai? / - So...
Chili pepper powder, fish sauce,
soy sauce, vinegar, and sugar.
- This is... / - You used fish sauce.
The more I eat, the better it gets.
It's very simple.
- It's the best one. / - I know, right?
- This is... / - Are you full?
- I can eat more. / - Leave him alone.
This will be his meal.
- Anyway... / - It looks good.
I think you need to follow the recipe carefully.
Or the noodles will get soggy.
The noodles will get soggy, right?
- You have to be careful. / - You must
add the noodles right after it's boiled.
Did you scramble the eggs?
Yes. While you stir-fry the noodles
- The price is good too. / - with the sauce,
then put the noodles aside.
- Then break two eggs, / - He really enjoys it.
make scrambled eggs
- and mix them. / - Mix them.
- This is simple. / - Yes.
It really smells like Southeast Asia.
Good.
I hear even Baek Jongwon acknowledges it.
He thought it'd be okay to try using ramyeon.
I've never seen Jaeseok enjoying food so much.
- Really? / - Yes.
- It's good. / - You can also add rice.
- Oh, rice. / - You can add anything
like chives, bean sprouts, or meat.
- Shrimps? / - Yes. Shrimps.
It's really good when you add ground shrimps.
- Saeho or shrimps? / - Shrimps.
We can't get Thai fish sauce in Korea, so you
- So I used soy sauce. / - used Korean fish sauce.
- Does it taste similar? / - Soy sauce and...
Yes. It does.
- It smells like Thailand. / - Really?
- It's exactly the same. / - Just as you said,
- it has sweet and sour flavors. / - Sweet and sour.
- Spicy? / - And spicy.
- It looks good. / - It's perfect.
You feel like you're in Thailand for two dollars.
Yes. You can make it anytime.
Rice will also be good.
Sometimes I love ramyeon,
but if you keep eating ramyeon,
you want to try something new.
Then you can try this recipe.
I've never seen this menu before.
If there's one thing to change,
instead of ramyeon,
you could use thin noodles in the cup noodle.
Then it will be real Southeast Asian noodles.
You know those really thin noodles, right?
- Rice noodles. / - Yes.
Then you can add a little bit of flakes.
It will still be good.
Today...
(Yujin's pad thai ramyeon is satisfactory.)
- Bring it. / - You're all good.

Within the three hours that we met,
he put his hand over mine.
- Three hours? / - At the first meeting?
- In three hours? / - We met for the first time.
Okay. We briefly met before that.
In 1993, at the national beauty pageant,
I...
- He sang at the pageant. / - Okay.
- He escorted me. / - Right.
- He escorted the candidates. / - I saw the clip.
That's when we met,
but I had no idea who this guy was. How would I know?
- You lived abroad. / - I lived abroad.
After his song ended, I returned backstage.
I didn't even make it to top eight.
I won the Friendship Award,
but I was really happy that I won something at least.
I was happy.
But I was passing through the backstage...
They were very competitive.
Everyone was crying in the backstage.
I went to everyone and said, "Good job."
The mothers kept telling me to leave
because it was over.
But my husband saw me.
He wondered who I was.
He wondered why I was smiling
and saying goodbye to everyone.
He told me that he kept listening
to my voice while looking at me.
He wondered why I was so happy
when I didn't even make it to the final eight.
- You didn't even win. / - I should've been crying.
He wondered why I was smiling when I left.
He waited for me and said to me,
"Good job."
He reached out his hand, so I shook his hand.
I told him, "Good job" and left.
At that moment, my husband realized
that I didn't recognize who he was.
- That's what he realized. / - Right.
The following Friday...
I had to leave the next day.
The day before I had to leave Korea,
MBC wanted to give me a tour.
My husband was filming "My Mother's Sea" then.
- It's the best drama. / - It was the best.
They gave me a tour while
- they were filming it. / - They showed you around.
- They planned it. / - A producer did that.
I do think it was set-up.
He said it wasn't.
- He showed me around. / - It was a plan.
My husband did his scenes and was about to leave.
The producer said, "Hey, she's from a long way..."
- He set it up. / - It's so obvious.
- That's so obvious. / - He set it up.
- Seriously. / - My gosh.
- That was... / - "She was a candidate."
"She's from Canada."
"Why don't you say hello?"
When I said hello,
he didn't look at me.
He tried to look cool.
- This is what he did. / - He played it cool.
- This? Is this it? / - I could see through it.
- This is like a play. / - He had to look at me.
When I said hello,
he asked if we had met at the beauty pageant.
I asked if he was the one who sang there.
He said yes,
then we parted our ways.
I asked the producer who he was.
- I heard he was famous. / - He was in that drama.
- I heard he was famous. / - He's on another show too.
I thought I should've gotten an autograph
since I was leaving the next day.
- I thought if I run / - I see.
into him again on my way out, I should ask for one.
The producer told him I wanted an autograph.
But he asked me to get a cup of coffee.
That was obvious.
You liked him too. You wanted his autograph.
- I just thought... / - He was famous.
- I met a famous man. / - Just for that?
- That was all I wanted. / - She had to show off.
She was leaving Korea too.
- I was leaving soon. / - The award and that.
I got his autograph.
- Just those two. / - That's right.
She had to take them.
I had to get something out of this trip.
- Something. / - Anyway, I went to a cafe with him.
- "Cafe". / - I couldn't speak Korean.
He couldn't speak English.
We were trying to make a conversation.
- Suddenly, he put / - Okay.
- his hand over mine. / - What?
- Did he propose? What? / - Guess what he said.
"I must propose to you now."
- What? / - "I can't let you go like this."
"I must propose to you."
- That was sudden. / - That's unbelievable.
So I said...
- What did you say? / - Imagine how confused I was.
I bet that must have shocked you.
I should've been shocked,
but this is what crossed my mind then.
He must be very famous to ask every woman
- he meets to marry him. / - She could've misread it.
- That's possible. / - Right, right.
(It caused a misunderstanding.)
Right.
He asked me to call him before I left for Canada.
But I didn't call him.
He said he'd be shooting and asked me to call him,
but I didn't. He came to Gimpo Airport.
- It was during his shoot. / - My gosh.
- During his filming? / - Yes.
He came all the way to the airport.
- You could see everyone. / - Right.
My husband was coming up the escalator.
I was standing at the end of the escalator.
My relatives asked me what I was doing.
I said, "That man came to see me."
Everyone didn't believe me and said not to joke.
They said he was a very famous star.
I told them he sang at the beauty pageant.
I met him and he took out a box.
He stayed up all night compiling his childhood photos.
- He brought all of them. / - I got goosebumps.
That's Saeho's play. The childhood photos.
That's so true. He did that.
That's his thing.
He wrote a note on each photo the night before.
On all of them?
- "They're my parents." / - No wonder.
- I got goosebumps. / - How could she refuse?
On my 17-hour flight back,
- he wanted me to read / - He wanted you to know.
his life stories so I'd know him better.
So I read them.
As soon as I arrived in Canada,
I got a phone call.
When I answered it, it was my husband.
He told me not to worry
because he was coming to Canada.
- To Canada? / - For four weekends,
he came to visit me.
- Because of his work, / - He was in love.
- he was... / - He was there briefly.
- He took a 17-hour flight, / - That's so romantic.
had lunch with my parents,
- then went back right away. / - He went back?
- He had to work. / - He did that four times.
He wrote me a short letter at the airport.
Let me tell you what he wrote.
"June,"
"can you live for me?"
It was something along that line.
The expression "living for someone"
appalled me.
I didn't expect that.
- We have too many twists. / - That's right.
- "Can you live for me?" / - That's understandable.
He asked her to live for him.
She lives for herself.
I thought she'd say it was moving.
It was appalling.
- When you think about it, / - Right, right.
it's appalling when a stranger says that.
That's understandable.
- That would be scary. / - Right.
- I was 22. / - You two just met.
- You were 22. / - You were young.
- That's right. / - I was only 22.
I couldn't even live for me.
How could I live for someone else?
- That's right. / - You'd feel uneasy.
- You have a point. / - Don't you think so?
When I read the letter,
I wondered if I understood it correctly.
I thought he wrote some odd things in a letter.
Anyway, he asked me to live for him.
That's how our relationship started.
(That was the starting point.)
You said it was appalling. Did it change your mind?
- It was... / - I never answered it.
- You didn't. / - I never answered it.
What happened then?
- For 25 years... / - She's awesome.
You've never answered it.
I've been living with him because he's interesting.
(25 years passed in a blink of an eye.)
You know what I mean, right?
- 25 years. / - It's so similar.
- Goodness. Minsoo is... / - Wait.
What made you marry him?
He's my first love.
(He's her first love?)
One day, we were at a church
and getting married.
You were getting married one day?
- "One day". / - Seriously.
How did this happen?
(She was unaware of her wedding.)
When I got to the church,
the moment I saw my husband,
I thought, "Is it too late to call off the wedding?"
- That crossed my mind. / - Really?
- On your wedding day? / - On my wedding day.
- On your wedding day? / - At the church...
- She was young. / - We had many reporters.
- All of a sudden, they... / - It would be hectic.
- I wondered / - She may have been scared.
- how I ended up there. / - That's possible.
- "How did I get here?" / - My gosh.
"Who is this man?"
"I don't even know this man."
- He's your husband. / - "We are strangers."
- That's possible. / - Despite that brief moment,
you decided to marry him anyway.
Wasn't it because you loved him?
The idea of love...
The love that makes your heart flutter
- is also love, / - That's love too.
but that's the shallowest part of love.
Now is the time that I feel I'm truly in love.
After 25 years.
- Now I know that / - That's real love.
when you're in love,
you can enter the darkest cave together,
but walk out together hand in hand again.
When you're truly in love, you can share
- this road of hardships. / - That's so true.
One of my dreams for my wedding
was to ride a convertible or a jeep
with my white wedding dress fluttering away.
- That was my dream. / - That came true.
- My dream came true. / - That's right.
This is what I realized. It's been 25 years.
Of all the dreams I had about my marriage,
only one came true.
(That's it.)
- That was unexpected. / - My gosh.
- She has many surprises. / - Seriously.
- Today... / - I thought she was moved,
but it was a complaint.
- Only one came true. / - This is...
There are many twists. Same with Eunse.
- This proves / - I was fooled.
that I was able to discover
this mature side of myself thanks to my husband.
- She finished it nicely. / - Let's give it up.
- Another lecture comes to an end. / - That was great.
(The end of "Kang June Special")

BTS: The Cradle | Westworld | Season 2 - Duration: 4:57.ELSIE HUGHES: The Cradle.
