Film Courage: What are some of the most important questions you're asking yourself when

developing a story idea? Jeffrey Reddick, screenwriter: I think who my audience? Is you know it's a story

interesting enough usually for my horror stuff it's like is there enough

is there enough stuff in here to care about the characters but am I also

coming up enough scare so we haven't seen before those are the kind of things

I ask myself like it's interesting cuz I love doing it and I've done it for so

long that it's it's definitely it's not easy work at all like people because

people don't understand like again they especially when you're threading a

script together and you know dissecting and making sure that everything kind of

lines up and pieces together you want to put your best foot forward but you also

realize that a lot of times that once you sell the script and it's out of your

hands a lot of that stuff just goes out the window so that's why I'm not as

harsh when I see a movie I like that I reserve judgment on the writer until I

see read the actual screenplay because you just never know what changes from

page to screen but for me it's usually especially because it's always horror

films it's like you know do I think this is also do I think this is going to

strike a chord of people like you know final destination dealt with death which

is kind of a universal fear so I try to think of concepts that will tap into

something that's will reach a wide audience you know I'm not gonna lie

about that like I do try it you know you you want to hit as many people as you

can I think with your concept but that's what I love about horror the horror

genre I think themes are you know the fears that we have most people are

universal fears that aren't you know regulated to like one region or one part

of the world or or any you know I think we all kind of have the same fears deep

down so that's the thing I think a love about horror is you can kind of tackle a

whole bunch of different kind of stories and still have it play well around the

world I like how you use the analogy if it's

like knitting you know and that if you you know how let's suppose you're

knitting or crocheting something and then you just pull one little string

here that it can really affect the whole like you know yeah sweater or whatever

right now people don't realize that when they it's just when they give you notes

the like I I know at one time I had a project where a director came in the

producers were all literally like we think he's full of shit but we're gonna

give him a shot directing because he'd write the

a couple things before but his pitch he kind of came in and had an opening scene

that was because the movie hope the whole movie built around this plot twist

about these characters not knowing each other and his opening scene was

basically it was very clear these characters knew each other and so you

know my first meeting with him I was like well you know I was trying to be

very diplomatic well how do you propose that we how do you propose that we do

that opening scene so that we don't spoil the fact that they know each other

because that's kind of the whole twist of the script and it wasn't one that's

well you're the writer you figure it out and so it's like okay you're that's like

the you know I will spoil the end of usual suspects if you haven't seen that

but that's like that's like going you know pretend that's you know Kevin

Spacey didn't make it all up in size or Kaiser so say he's a real person but you

like but the whole point of the movie is is in and then they're like go or you

know the end of The Sixth Sense it's like well pretend Bruce Willis is like a

real person and not a guy you notice so you know when that when they come to do

something like that it gets it's a little they obviously don't understand

like you're you're taking the core of what makes this movie like the core

mystery and you're giving it away at the beginning so that's going to change the

whole movie and then there's a second you'll figure it out so it's just shows

a certain level of not understanding about you know how much thought you do

need to actually put into a good screenplay

you

My Drawing Studio & Art Supplies Tour | Sharpies & More (Drawing Dojo) by Jacob Sheetz - Duration: 21:52.

welcome our studio

Let's show, you around take a look at a couple things

good, and ask, me some questions you have any questions and i

couldn't get started first thing, we have here is

my, big collection of

Pencils and pens and everything so this court i see you've got them in these little containers

They're just of oatmeal containers i cut in half four

containers from peanuts that i just took lids, off and

Put all my pens and pencils in those they've got my, off-brand of the

Technical pin there and slice of mars it's a

Cheaper kind but they, were pretty good

Get my cutting, board mat here

sharpies

pencils mechanical pencils i've got

ballpoint pens

Figures sharpies like gigantic. No paint paint pen

Chisel tip

markers more colored pencils

I've got here the new, losing

chinese traditional ink and i used that for

This right here to make glass

Dip pen i haven't done a drawing with it yet

But here's what that looks like

Keeping a little case so it's safe and doesn't get damaged

do, my set of

All the mother hens, they just these are expensive ones

Different, size isn't everything

My this is my fountain, pen here it's just a lame except for

Pins and more pins all kinds of pens i've got the ballpoint gels you get more expensive

Pigma, micron pens

Again, most subtour it's efficient for me when i'm drawing so that you know it's close to me closing, my drawing area don't know

walk, to the other side of the room for if i need something um

This, year's most chinese things that are used for my, glass and dip pen

Yeah, it's just a man cutting that that i use this is my?

Use that for cutting paper besides i need, this is off-brand

of a pen and i

Still ars technica

techno part

And i got some joint inks that's for us for these

over there

and these over here

Markers and everything they're kind of?

They're kind of all over the place it's never the organizing, this i'm just going to throw. Whatever's in here

What a color, brush

These are same big marking

That's your pencils i don't do as much drawn with graphite anymore if it's got some other ones

But not quite as many

pencils i've gotten more into using a pen and everything because i like that when i'm drawing with pen i can, you know i can

you know i forced myself to improve because

I'm i can't really cover up a mistake sure i can, use my

White gel pen or something like this but i don't worry, about i just just have fun and do it never get all my

Different sharpies here you know the thing i was confused, about the sharpie, is that

It says here that it's ultra fine but, link there

They're, not as fine as other pens that are no

ibold so

Not sure about he was thinking about that and more sharpies this is a

fine tip and

my, chisels

Sharpies and my bigger ones, oh and these ones here i started using these a few years back because

They're, pretty cheap i started drawing with

Isn't gel pens never liked. How. They worked because it does mean the paper is so smooth and?

Foam, by the way i have here

V5 precise i love using, these, they're really good for almond really detailed drawing

They, work like a gel pen

But don't like, these, pens so it was pretty awesome

over here i've got a little bit of mix of

sharpie pens

Stay there pillows and all that

And i try to organize them, by color, by type, by size and everything

So that you know when i want to use something's more efficient that really taking as long to

Get to a supply or to use something so that

Makes it very helpful and efficient

And over here i am i'm a pencil sharpener of course so by

My drawing areas so that it's efficient the two of those so they're, gonna shorter tinsel like, when you're in school and

Like, you're setting one side of the room you, gotta walk all the way to the other side

You know just a sharpener pencil and kind of annoying remember sometimes i wouldn't even

Get up to sharpen, my pencil because

That was quiet and everything you know?

guess i was uncomfortable

And it really talked to anybody but a

Little bit more talkative i see here

this is

chemical pencils or the random stuff is

I'm good over there

This, is my drawing set up

my tripod and

This is a beauty

This, problem of most of my videos are made and this is a drawing i did yesterday last night tec-9

And if you haven't heard of him he's

He's a rapper, and people are surprised that i even listen to his music because i don't seem like

Someone that wouldn't listen to it so

Yeah, this is my little sketchbook

Some random drawings it is something abstract

She can see there

Some other things that drew a

True my cousin and a friend to my, nephew. But this is a drawing idea of a memory i had my live down florida

This, that was one of the thing bush, no?

You, do some other drawings a different friends

and that's the one i did yesterday

Over here i've got my

Keyboard, my mouse my

Microphone and my surround sound speakers headphones music, is some iron that's called iron man series

they're, like

Really hard it's really hard for them to fall out of here here like they

Say i'm pretty good but other part of them fell off so

It kept coming off after use it for a couple, years that's the only bad thing, about it so it's like

Leave that part on it gets a little rubber piece coming off the end here

And this is my logitech speakers my?

monitor

Microphone i showed you that is my computer and getting my

External hard drive that's computer idle and i pre an?

eyeglass holder

It's a red dragon keyboard, by the way it's a cheap, keyboard but it works pretty

Good, same with the mouse i think for you know, both of them it's maybe

thirty, five dollars for

For the mouse and the keyboard

So, yeah it's pretty good setup, because i'm in the corner and it's efficient when i'm

Working on drawings because i could be edited in a video or something, and while i'm editing that i

Think, you know were kind of draw at the same time i cannot rearrange, some things no clear from my

Desk so it makes things more efficient i get more drawing done

Also the lighting that i'm using for these bulbs is a 5000 k

Full-spectrum, day to day light bulb, and they use that so you get no proper color and everything if you're, using a

Much lower

Color than you know it's gonna be warmer the higher the

kelvin for light

Then that, means that it's more than blue so anything in the range of you know. Five thousand a fifty fifty five

Okay, five thousand, five hundred k it's pretty good

And i'm gonna show. You some little things have over here

some

Two paintings i could hang those up, still then i've got

Some business cards i've made a

Few months back?

Gonna, have here

Tripod and some random gear and everything for my, dizzle orchid

And watch and then that's a little, bag for the headphones that have

You know that is not marzetta dressing that has actually a void glue

tape measure and i

Have, some paints here

different drawers for everything

crayons, scissors

And we've got these organized, also as, well just like

My pins and everything it's organized based on and what it is so i've got all my races and everything in that

I'm gonna get eraser

If you're drawing you, do need one of these get it as a pun not

that funny but you should get it anyways here's some more pinks and everything hole puncher i use these for painting i

Can give a texture or something different paints

Different i get painters tape electrical tape

Some basic tape, and there's all my paintbrushes you got watercolor oil and acrylic

Uses some others like

chip, brushes cheap ones

And then there's more expensive brush head, back here

This is a soft brush acrylic paints and then

watercolor sets

gosh

It's just all these whitens there that's

watercolor i

Have this random stuff in this box

Like, things that i can't really organize

the up here i have some drawings and

Working on the these aren't finished or they are finished and i said i had framed it

and over here i've got

Diesel some joins that worked on i just like, what i'm doing a

Big drawing i just use this that's like just thin sheet paper there's a big roar he's know

A bigger one but nice like using

This, paper, because i do a lot of them might as a roll them up. And put them in the corner and

My, easel get this little

Board that clips i can, clip paper onto and do a drone

Random marker and everything there aren't organized

big huge sharpies and

Sharpies those are the king size right here i've got

To the giant ruler

Then here's some

index cards post-it notes and

Do little tiny drawings on these

And then i've got a painting over here that did a. Couple months, ago that's with cooked paint

And then here i have stored some of the random things i've got a oatmeal container of drawing on?

And i've got pieces of wood that i used for drawing i think though sp. Cell, was storing oil paint in

And i've got another little tiny

Tabletop, easel and this is for my, my webcam boards for my

Microphone but this one's actually for my, webcam there's some random papers and everything and then in here i've got

Tacky glue, no similar paints. House paints actually used those dirt exterior house paint it has

It has the primer in it already

Over here it's tacky, glue already showed you that and i've got there's all kind of stuff in here and see

The gloss meet you know, hodge podge

Spray, bottle workable fixative and then i've got

That back there

And i've stored over here cardboard let's do a, big drawing on these

so

Did that one not too long, ago

Let me show. You what it looks like?

She has a video already but

the side

view of it

There's some papers and this is all my papers that haven't gotten organized, by, no type as

Well and right there it shows let's have a paper that is exhibit a, smooth paper then i use a rough paper depending

What i'm doing because?

sometimes i might be no drawing with colored pencil i need something has a rough surface i

Don't know if got that all my sketchbooks lots of sketchbooks

There's gonna, be maybe 40 of them there i'm not even sure but if you can count them all

and i

Have here my, own sketchbooks that i've made

and

see take a look here and these are some of the drawings i've done um

Did that in a, while, ago, some colored ones i've got

Still working on that one using a

Watercolor, brush the colored pencil this is abstract

Don't know what that is?

No, idea?

That abstract

There's some floral looking thing, some color

Picasso of looking stuff

someone said that that joint looks like something that someone had done my turn numbers name it wasn't mc escher i

Mean, what's his name i think?

If anybody knows, well let me know. Key member his name

And there's some there's like, some halloween i was designing something, uh

No, idea what that is either?

Most the time i never know

Mmm this looks like in the drawing was in a tree, yeah it was this way it's a trios drawing, some other stuff

yeah

Don't even know

Won't work on someone else forget even working on

And this is a piece of artwork i'm still working on pretty detailed as you can see

no

Yeah, he was a very fine tipped, pen for that, joy

stippling

More picasso stuff let's go back to stippling one's gonna tell you about that

everything a

It's just a

jimmy gel that one

Cheap, gel, pen i'm just using it for this here

Does good it's not about. You know the cost of our supply it's, about it's about. Your skill and being creative more picasso stuff

like a floral design

yeah, those are these little sketch, books that i made

and

The reason i have these arranged, this, way is because?

these here block the light from getting onto, this prevents the paper from yellowing, and

This here is i have this setting here in the blanco life, and going to the papers here so they don't yellow as, well?

I've got different paper here i've got

The black paper get you get more yellow it's like an ivory colored paper

And the different

Sketchbooks, i have i'll go into depth sometime about those

but all different ones i have

An up here i've got

Different oil pastels and everything

that's a

Kid has i think it's passed i was in and colored pencils and paint

you're a

bigger drawing of heads and

And this here's prismacolor mark they're set

i've got

charcoal in this

you know

Things for blending and get pastels in there

and this here's my other controlling table i use i use this one because

It's no right for the light

Because they get really good moonlight or?

Light in the afternoon so i can just draw here don't have to use any any lighting so

Saves, my, electricity cause like

that's my setup a favorite thing um i

Should go more into depth, about it but everything i have but just

take a long time and

I've got quite a bit of stuff here she can, tell

And this here is where i keep some of my sketches and drawings?

I'll go ahead depth, about that is some time as, well and thought it'd be for another video

But i have it don't manage and everything but this is my setup at the moment and it makes it pretty efficient because

I've got this table here to draw on i've got all this room over here to draw on um start about the cords

the ones behind the monitor or overnighted but i've got to figure out something with, that um

Be honest in my drawing setup

It's pretty efficient because like i said earlier right in the corner i don't have to worry about

The things being in my, way as much because what i had before was it wasn't really good because i didn't really have!

that much room for anything so i

Am just kind of fighting with the things that were around me and

It took, away, from me being able to have any time the jaw or working on these thing and

the the sketchbooks i have i do a, little bit in each one of them i

Don't really fill up an entire sketchbook

And then we're, going to another one i i work a little bit in each one because you know

After all it's about having fun to me it's not about

Trying to just accomplished a huge amount, i mean i'm sure i've got goals and everything but you know

You, want to have fun, along the way, because then

She's not having fun then you know, what's the point you know?

Why, do in the first place if it's not really anything that you have

Passion for that you're enjoying

and that's one thing i've learned after all putting in the work and doing this is

That no matter how much work you do and how. Hard you're trying and you're trying to reach a, goal, and

Trying to be something that

Then, we get lost and caught up in this idea of what, we should be or what? We shouldn't be or?

What we know, what, we should be doing in life?

That's different for everyone it's different for you know, whatever you're doing when we're at

As long as a person because

That's always changing and we're? Always changing his people i for one i'm always, always changing into that person, and i'm never really

Never really the same for too long but

like exploring the world and then finding new things and

discovering new things, about myself and a long way of doing that i

Feel that i improve as an artist, and that what i'm doing is helping other people and it's

not that i'm doing it just for myself or because i

Feel that you know i have to do this because other people tell

Me to with it actually create certain things, because that's what other people don't me to create i do it because i love attend

and i'm never going to give up with, this it's always, gonna be hobby of mine it

Always, gonna be my passion

And this set is pretty efficient and look forward to doing enjoins and showing everybody

Other our supplies and sketchbooks and everything so

If you have any questions go ahead, and let me know and for now?

thank you for watching in

You, have a great day

it kills harmful bacteria and dispels unpleasant odors by generating a safe

amount of ozone I've noticed a difference in my car I have a lot of car

and working equipment with in my truck and I place this in here and immediately

I feel less stuffy and a little bit better even if the air purifier wasn't

part of this unique device I would still use it because it offers two more USB

ports and everything nowadays has USB cords rather than an actual cigarette

lighter or another type of adapter for the car also what's great is if you do

plug a lot of stuff into your areas in the car where you can receive power

sometimes drains a lot of your battery and this right here tells you what your

battery level is that so usually begins around 14 and if it's

around thirteen point three that's good still but I'll show you this in the car

too so you can see more and what I'm talking about all right so we're going

re-enact more of the best true stories from our subreddit about the cringiest things ever

said to us.

I'm Nixxiom and today I'll be your narrator.

Number 10 was submitted by lcarlson2021 Zaraganba When Zaraganba was in high school he and some

students had to go talk to some eighth graders about what high school was like.

When they said everything they had to say they decided to open it up for some questions.

One boy shot his hand up, so Zaraganba picked him.

The boy stood up, cleared his throat and then asked with a straight face if the memes were

danker in high school.

The fifty students present went into an uproar from all the cringe.

It took the teacher almost ten minutes to calm them down.

Number 9 was submitted by Guitarlove6437 Emojie A Couple of years ago Emojie dated an Native

American guy named A. One day she was telling her aunt about him and noticed her aunt kept

referring to him as 'Indian'.

Emojie kept correcting her, saying A was Native American.

Her aunt said she wasn't sure which kind of Indian she meant.

Then, to demonstrate, she put her hand over her mouth and did a racist impression of a

Native American cry and then impersonated a convenience store worker like Apu from The

Simpsons.

Emojie cringed so hard and wished she wasn't related to this woman…

Number 8 was submitted by ImRicePuddingAMA Pandora

One day Pandora saw her crush walking with some other girl.

She went up to him, trying to sound cool, and asked, "Is that your boyfriend?"

Her crush shook his head and said, "Nah.

It's my cousin."

Pandora's brain then shut down, and she said, "You know, in some places it's the

same thing."

Her crush and his cousin looked at Pandora like she just crash landed from Mars.

Pandora wanted to smack herself for being so cringy.

Number 7 was submitted by Chuck8907 Captain Captain is an old fart who works with young

people at Chik-fil-la.

One day he was prepping the salads when he got into a conversation with one of his younger

co-workers about musicians.

They were getting along great, but when Captain mentioned the great Frank Sinatra his co-worker

said something that made him cringe.

He said: "Who's Frank Sinatra?

Is he a rapper?"

Captain cried inside and lost all hope for future generations.

Number 6 was submitted by Tonyabbottsdogs666 Hellbent

One day Hellbent was walking home from school when a black and green-striped van came speeding

up to him.

It had a big marijuana leaf on the side of it with the message "Don't vote, just

tote".

The van braked right next to Hellbent and the driver rolled down the window.

A woman in her fifties popped her head out and shouted, "Hey kid!

Ever seen the cocaine fairy?"

Hellbent shook his head and the woman shouted, "Neither have I...

Wait!

I'm the cocaine fairy!"

She then started throwing bags of flour at Hellbent, which exploded on the ground around

him.

The Cocaine Fairy then sped off cackling while driving on the wrong side of the road.

It was very confusing… and cringy!

Number 5 was submitted by anniefitzgerald Ramona

A couple of years ago Ramona was getting sexy for the first time with her boyfriend at the

time.

They'd just finished their foreplay when he put his mouth right up against Ramona's

ear and said, "You have the softest pubic hair I have ever felt..."

Ramona cringed and died a little inside.

It totally killed the mood and it took everything she had not to laugh.

Number 4 was submitted by JohnTheWierdKid HoneyBits

One time HoneyBits was studying in the library when a guy came up to her with a big creepy

smile.

She didn't know it then but he was about to unleash a cringe explosion that she would

never forget!

He looked in her eyes and said, "Girl, I'm going to treat you like my homework and do

you ALL night long."

When he didn't get a response he dug deep and said, "I'm going to treat you like

my pinky toe and bang you against every piece of furniture in my house!"

HoneyBits wasn't very impressed and politely told him to take his garbage lines elsewhere.

Number 3 was submitted by alinatron Melissa One time Melissa and her friends were playing

Pokémon on their Nintendo DSes at school.

Suddenly this weird pale kid came up to Melissa and asked if he could look at her Pokémon.

Melissa handed him her DS and went on having a conversation with someone else.

When the weirdo gave back her DS he had renamed each Pokémon in her party so that their names

spelled something out.

The message said: Will You Go Out With Me?

Melissa cringed so hard she nearly died.

She had literally spoken to him twice ever.

Number 2 was submitted by CompletelyAbnormal GhostToast

GhostToast has this embarrassing English teacher who's very passionate about literature.

One time he was going on a rant about a book the class was reading.

A character had just sacrificed himself to save a woman and her family.

GhostToast's English teacher pretended to be totally shocked and said: "OMG!

LOL!

Winky-face emoji!"

This made the whole class facepalm hard.

GhostToast's English teacher saw the class's reaction and said, "Oh yeah!

My emoji game is A+!"

At that moment, GhostToast died inside.

Why Trump's Economy Is About To Crash - Duration: 8:18.

IF YOU WATCH MAINSTREAM MEDIA YOU WOULD BE UNDER THE

IMPRESSION THAT THE ECONOMY IS DOING INCREDIBLY WELL.

AMERICANS ARE SUPER PROSPEROUS, THEY HAVE A TON OF MONEY.

LOOK

AT THE STOCK MARKET, THE NUMBERS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES, STOCK

PRICES ARE UP, BUT THE REALITY IS PEOPLE ARE DEALING WITH MORE

DEBT TODAY THAN THEY DID AT THE HEIGHT OF THE ECONOMIC CRASH IN

2008, AND WAGES REMAIN STAGNANT SO THE FED HAS BEEN LOOKING INTO

THESE NUMBERS BECAUSE THEY ARE CONSIDERING INCREASING INTEREST

RATES AND INTEREST RATES HAVE BEEN LOW SINCE THE RECESSION AND

WHEN THEY RAISE INTEREST RATES IT IS DONE IN ARE NEVER TO

RESPOND TO AN OVERHEATED MARKET SO INFLATION, FOR INSTANCE.

THEY WANT TO MAKE SURE INFLATION DOESN'T GET OUT OF HAND BUT IF

THEY DO INCREASE THE INTEREST RATES, A LOT OF AMERICANS WHO

HAVE A LOT OF THAT WILL SUFFER.

THAT IS INSANE.

THERE'S THAT AND REMEMBER WAGES HAVING GONE

UP SIGNIFICANTLY, THEY HAVE REMAINED STAGNANT FOR THE MOST

PART.

SUBPRIME LOANS IN THE AUTO INDUSTRY ARE HUGE, THERE'S A

BUBBLE THERE THAT IS EXPECTED TO BURST.

SO KEEP AN EYE ON THAT.

THIS IS PART OF WHY TRUMP WON AND IRONICALLY, WHY HIS

PRESIDENCY I BELIEVE COULD COLLAPSE AND SO LET ME EXPLAIN

BOTH OF THOSE.

HE WON BECAUSE WASHINGTON HAS NO SENSE

OF THE ANGER IN THE COUNTRY BECAUSE TO THEN THE IDEA THAT

YOU WOULD BE WIPED OUT BY A $400 EXPENSE IS LAUGHABLE.

THE FOLKS

IN POWER IN WASHINGTON AND NEW YORK, AND SAN FRANCISCO AND LA

TO BE HONEST, $400 IS NOTHING.

BUT FOR 40% OF THE COUNTRY, IT

IS DEVASTATION.

THAT IS UNDER NORMA'S DISCONNECT.

IT IS NOT

JUST THAT ONE SIDE IS SO DESPAIRED THAN THE OTHER IT IS

THAT THEY DON'T KNOW EACH OTHER AND THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND EACH

OTHER AND SO ALL THE PEOPLE IN POWER, THEY DON'T KNOW ANYONE

WHO CAN'T SURVIVE A $400 EMERGENCY AND SAID THEY GO ON

BLITHELY THINKING THAT SOMEBODY LIKE HILLARY CLINTON WHO IS AN

ENORMOUSLY PRO-ESTABLISHMENT CANDIDATE RAN A CAMPAIGN

BASICALLY SAYING THE STATUS QUO IS PRETTY GOOD, LET'S STICK WITH

IT.

THAT PRODUCED A RAGE IN THE COUNTRY AND SO THAT IS WHY TRUMP

1.

NOW IRONICALLY OF COURSE, AS YOU KNOW, TRUMP DID NOT MAKE IT

ANY BETTER SO WHAT DID HE DO?

HE PORTED TON OF MONEY INTO RICH PEOPLE.

HE GAVE RICH PEOPLE

EVEN MORE TAX CUTS.

THE AVERAGE TAX CUT FOR THE GUYS IN THE 1%

FROM TRUMP WAS $61,000.

EVERY YEAR IN THEIR TAX CUTS ON

AVERAGE.

THE BUBBLE KEEPS GROWING AND GROWING AND AT SOME

POINT, IT WILL POP AND WHEN IT DOES, THERE WILL BE EVEN MORE

DEVASTATION IN THE COUNTRY BECAUSE ALL OF YOU WILL HAVE

$400 OF EMERGENCY EXPENSES, $4000 BECAUSE OF ALL THE

DISASTERS THAT WILL UNFOLD FROM THEN YOU WON'T HAVE JOBS, EVEN

THE VERY LOW-PAYING JOBS AND WHEN THEY GO TO BAIL OUT THE

BANKERS AGAIN, WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A WHOLE DIFFERENT ANIMAL IN

THIS COUNTRY.

BUCKLE UP, BRACE FOR IMPACT ARE.

BY THE WAY, IN REGARD TO THE STOCK MARKET, WE TALKED ABOUT

THIS BEFORE BUT JUST TO REITERATE, IT IS ARTIFICIALLY

INFLATED BY CHEAP MONEY THAT THE FED IS PRINTING OUT AND GIVING

TO BANKS FOR INSTANCE.

THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO LOAD THAT MONEY OUT

TO SMALL BUSINESSES BUT THEY HAVE NOT DONE THAT.

THEY JUST

USE THAT TO BUY THEIR OWN STOCKS AND THEN YOU DON'T HAVE

AMERICANS GOING OUT AND BUYING THEIR PRODUCTS SO WHEN YOU SEE

THE PRICES GO UP, REMEMBER IT IS THESE CORPORATE CEOS, EXECUTIVES

TAKING MONEY FROM THE TAX CUTS AND CHEAP MONEY FROM THE FED AND

JUST BUYING THEIR OWN STOCK.

THAT IS THE REASON WHY YOU ARE

SEEING THE STOCK PRICES GO UP AND YES, UNEMPLOYMENT RATE IS

LOW, BUT YOU HAVE TO LOOK AT THE QUALITY OF JOBS.

THESE ARE NOT

QUALITY JOBS, THE WAGES MATTER QUITE A BIT AND THEY REMAIN

STAGNANT AND FINAL PIECE OF THIS PUZZLE, STUDENT LOANS.

BY THE WAY, THE EDUCATION DEPARTMENT JUST ANNOUNCED THEY

WILL BE INCREASING THE INTEREST RATE FOR FEDERAL STUDENT LOANS.

THAT IS HUGE, I KNOW IT DOESN'T SEEM LIKE IT BUT IT IS HUGE

WHEN YOU'RE TAKING OUT TENS OF THOUSANDS, SOMETIMES

HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN STUDENT LOANS.

THERE'S A THEORY THAT STUDENT LOANS ARE THE NEXT SUBPRIME

MORTGAGE CRISIS.

I COVERED THIS FOR YEARS ON THE YOUNG TURKS,

ABOUT WHY THE COLLAPSE HAPPENED IN 2008 AND SO EVERYBODY THINKS

IT WAS THE HOUSING MARKET.

NO, IT WAS THE GAMBLING ON TOP OF

THE HOUSING MARKET.

IT IS CALLED DERIVATIVES AND WHAT THEY

WOULD DO IS THEY WOULD BET, IS THAT PACKAGE OF HOUSING

MORTGAGES GOING TO COLLAPSE OR NOT?

AND SO WHEN THOSE BETS WENT SIDEWAYS, IT CREATED A DOMINO

EFFECT THEY COULD NOT RECOVER FROM.

NOW THERE ARE PEOPLE

MAKING THOSE KINDS OF DERIVATIVE BETS ON OTHER THINGS AND SOME IS

ON LOCAL AND STATE SOLVENCY AND SOME IS ON THE EDUCATION LOANS

AND 1.41 TRILLION IS ALREADY A GIANT AMOUNT LET ALONE THE BETS

THEY HAVE ON TOP OF THAT MONEY AND THIS HAS CREATED A WHOLE

CLASS OF INDENTURED SERVANTS AND UNLIKE INDENTURED SERVANTS WHICH

YOU READ ABOUT IN HISTORY CLASS, THAT LASTED SEVEN YEARS AND THEN

YOU ARE FREE TO GO.

THIS LAST A LIFETIME.

I TALKED TO GROWN

PEOPLE RUNNING FOR UNITED STATES CONGRESS WHO ARE STILL PAYING

THEIR STUDENT LOANS.

THIS IS AN ALBATROSS AROUND OUR NECK AND IT IS DONE ON

PURPOSE SO THEN WHO DO YOU HAVE TO SERVE?

CORPORATIONS.

OTHERWISE YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO PAY YOUR DEBTS

AND THEN THEY HAVE YOU EXACTLY WHERE THEY WANT YOU.

AND THESE ARE PEOPLE WHO HAVE THIS HUGE DEBT BURDEN JUST

SO THEY CAN HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO GET A DECENT JOB IN THIS

COUNTRY AND WHEN THEY ARE PAYING IT BACK, IT IS SUCH A HUGE

PORTION OF THEIR INCOME THAT THEY CANNOT BE PART OF THE

ECONOMY AND WAYS THAT THE GENERATIONS BEFORE COULD.

THEY CANNOT BUY HOMES, CARS, ALL THAT BUT THEY ALSO CAN SAVE

FOR RETIREMENT.

LESS THAN 40%

OF NON-RETIRED ADULTS THINKS THEY HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO

BE ON TRACK FOR RETIREMENT SO PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING.

DON'T LET ANYONE LIE TO YOU ABOUT THE HOW THE ECONOMY

IS BOOMING UNDER TRUMP.

ALL RIGHT, AND THE POST GAME, WE WILL TALK ABOUT WHETHER WE

ARE JOURNALISTS.

I THINK THAT IS AN INTERESTING CONVERSATION.

Lesson 10 part B - Duration: 7:59.

As you listen to Part A

you were probably sitting there thinking,

'Oh my god. Great advice Kiki....

but there is no way that I'm going to do it.'

One of the things that I'd like to focus on now

is just the ask a question.

I keep saying questions are important.

We talked about sensitive topics yesterday.

We talked about rhetorical questions.

In the sensitive topics, asking the person

specific questions about the sensitive topic

was the best way to get a conversation going, right?

It's really hard to just start

in the middle of nowhere,

talking about gender inequality,

'So what do you think about gender inequality?

I think it's not fair.'

What do you mean?

What are you talking about?

Specific questions,

like, 'Have you ever experienced gender inequality?

In general, Is there gender inequality

in the workplace where you work?' So forth.

Being more specific.

Not just complete open questions.

Rhetorical questions, again these aren't even questions

that are expecting an answer and yet

they change the way the audience listens to you.

Another tool in your toolbox.

Here we're talking about meetings

and we're talking about

somebody in a position of power.

They're talking talking talking

and you need to slow them down.

You need a clarification.

I suggest just raising your hand.

I know this seems very awkward.

It's not -- you're not in school

but they're talking and they're going really fast

and you've lost all direction.

Just raise your hand.

Just be the one who doesn't it.

Raise your hand -

later people will thank you.

Raise your hand and say, 'Excuse me.

I'm so sorry to interrupt you.

I'm trying to understand what you're saying.

Just to make sure,

can you clarify what you mean

when you say the da da da account.

Can you give me an example

of what you mean

if you say we should all be trying harder?

How should we be trying harder?

Excuse me, I was just wondering if

you can elaborate on the last point you made.

I'm sorry, could you please explain one more time

what you mean when you say....'

The reason that I repeat

what the person said

is because it shows that I'm listening.

Which is really really important,

when you stop somebody

in the middle of what they're saying.

It's impolite to interrupt, however,

the person speaking -

if they're speaking so fast only natives

understand what that person is saying,

then it's okay for you to raise your hand.

At least show, I'm trying to pay attention.

I'm trying to understand what you're saying.

Right now, I'm losing track of what you mean.

That person needs to understand,

also for their own benefit,

that the people around them

- are interested,

want to understand, the desire is there,

are having a hard time.

If you don't tell me,

I don't know, I'll keep going,

and I'll keep doing it.

The meetings will stay the same.

They'll be only for natives.

Since non natives are present,

since the meeting is for natives and non-natives

asking for clarification is really a great way

to get the person to slow down,

get more information and

benefit everybody around you,

who is a non-native,

because they all feel the same way.

Believe me, they're not saying it

(but they all think it).

Again, the best format for an interrupting question

is a question of clarification -

where you repeat the last thing you understood.

'I understood what you said

about the material - the transportation - the da da da...

Can you clarify about the next point?

I didn't catch that.'

I heard A but I didn't understand B.

or I heard A but I need more information.

Could you explain what you mean

when you say A, B, C?

To practice my point I'm going to

read to you from the article.

Just a short paragraph.

I'm gonna read the first point

called 'stop censoring yourself.'

As practice try to make a question about

every statement you hear,

in the same fashion as I mentioned before:

I heard you say something about

censoring yourself, can you elaborate?

Can you explain?

Can you give more details?

Can you give me an example?

Make as many questions as you can

for the following passage.

Ready?

#1 Stop censoring yourself.

Once you stop censoring yourself

you'll automatically speak out more often.

It's important to share your thoughts and ideas

without over editing them

or limiting your expression.

Don't lose valuable opportunities

to share your views and be seen

as the influential person you are.

That was just one minute of me reading something.

I want you, in the comment section below,

to make 4- 5

can you make 5?

5 questions that start with

'I heard you say A, can you elaborate?

Can you give an example?

Can you explain?

You're making clarification questions

to practice what you can do during a meeting.

Your boss, your coworker will be talking,

a foreigner, in a social event,

A foreigner will be talking to you.

You heard one or two words,

but you didn't understand the whole thing.

You can say, 'Oh what do you mean

when you say gender inequality?

What does that mean?'

You may have heard the word

but you're not sure what it means.

Ask the person you're talking to.

Ask for clarification during a meeting.

These are all things that are embarrassing.

Asking questions shows

I didn't understand something,

and in some cultures that's on me (my fault).

But in Western culture it's not.

In Western culture the

speaker takes responsibility

and if you don't understand,

they want to be understood,

they want you to ask them questions.

I want you to ask me questions.

If you have questions for me,

even about sensitive topics,

feel free to post

a comment,

post a link to a video of you asking.

That's also helpful for you in general,

to practice your public speaking.

All right, guys.

Keep trying. Make mistakes, and keep going.

I'll see you next time.

Bye^^

Subtropical storm ALBERTO on the MOVIE - Duration: 13:49.

well as the what you can see behind me the wall is a powerful reminder of the

incredible sacrifice of American men and women in uniform and as we honor them

that the fight continues in helping the next generation of veterans I caught up

with a senior vice commander in chief of the VFW BJ Lawrence as well as a senior

vice president of military affairs at USAA Vice Admiral John Bird to find out

more take a look gentlemen thank you so much

for joining us Admiral Byrd I want to start with you where are we today

obviously on a very special holiday today and into tomorrow there's a

hundreds of thousands of people here in the National Mall where are we

Elizabeth great to be with you we're located here on the National Mall right

next to the Lincoln Memorial between the Vietnam and Korean War Memorial behind

us is this magnificent wall 133 feet long with 645,000 poppies built in San

Antonio by USA and brought up here for this three-day weekend all right BJ what

I want to bring you into the conversation because you're with the VFW

poppies have a very symbolic meeting meeting

tell me why they were chosen to create this wall and why it means so much to

you as well to the Veterans of Foreign Wars we adopted the buddy poppy in the

early 1920s we felt that that would be our official flower memorial flower and

then and now we feel that the poppy Betsy signifies not only the bloodshed

on our battlefields but it also evokes the memory and emotions associated with

war Admiral you and I have been talking after the past couple days and we talked

a lot about the symbolism and it is inspiring and sad at the same time you

said that's me why yes well it's inspiring and certainly makes you

grateful because you think that men and women our country will raise their right

hand and volunteer for service willing to sacrifice their lives and in fact

they have the sadness comes in that even today we're losing men and women in

combat and so it is a huge sacrifice but we have to be said that we've lost so

many Americans so many fine young men and women in order to preserve that

freedom we're grateful they'll do it but it is sad very sad and BJ you probably

feel as to you travel across the country you travel almost 365 days out of the

year for the VFW you meet these young men and women who are sacrificing their

lives to this day is it important that they know we're here to remember the

lives that who have been lost it is and you know mo Memorial Day for us it's a

hallowed day it's a day that we all should pause and

pay tribute to those heroic Patriots that so they rose up and they paid

ultimate sacrifice and as a nation we must always remember to take the time

out to to not only honor and memorialize those heroes but also remember the

families and the loved ones that were left behind as a result of that it's

hard not to be moved when you look at this at this beautiful walk gentlemen

thank you so much for joining us thank you very much I mean we hope to see you

back someday this is a really neat memorial thank you thank you in Leland

as they've talked about it's a hundred and thirty three feet wide eight and a

half feet tall so it really is all encompassing and this is the first time

that the memorial has been displayed in the public they've had at private events

but you're really seeing the reception because obviously this is a time of year

where we see hundreds of thousands of people visiting and it is a free

memorial and people are coming down they spend quite a bit of time really

reflecting on the lives that have been lost I mean we're talking six hundred

forty five thousand copies since World War one we've lost that many lives so it

really is captivating when you see it in person it's a beautiful memorial I'm

interested Liz it is you look at people behind you walking along that memorial

and the visual visualization of each one of those poppies being a story being

someone with a family someone perhaps with children certainly with a mother

and a father who lost their beloved child abroad fighting for our freedom

I'm interested in your impression on the beginning of how people look as they

come to the wall in the end you see a change in their expressions and their

emotions oh absolutely absolutely you see there's a ramp that comes out of the

stage you see people sort of in a brush attitude some of them on their phones

and then you see them sort of stop and really stroll along the

memorial and they take a lot of time and you see people taking photographs

obviously sharing stories and I think that was the point of the memorial

really to take a reflection to stop and think about all of the people like you

said the children children of family members I mean adults and parents all

the people who have sacrificed their lives and given the ultimate sacrifice

or else we wouldn't have any of the freedoms to enjoy this memorial so it's

a it's a beautiful display and I certainly hope that it becomes a more

regular display here on the National Mall we could only hope now you see that

as well when people visit the Vietnam Memorial we will check in Liz with you

in a couple of minutes meantime Fox News extreme weather alert

and even before the official start of hurricane season the southern United

States bracing for the first named storm of the season subtropical storm Alberto

making its way towards the Gulf Coast Florida Alabama Mississippi have all

declared states of emergency Jonathan Serrie now on the beach in Pensacola

Florida and we always talk about it Jonathan it appears behind you the calm

before the storm is the sky will certainly darken that's right the

Alberto is still churning in the Gulf of Mexico several hundred miles offshore

right now and as you can see conditions here at the beach are relatively calm

the Sun keeps coming in and out of the clouds and that's attracting a lot of

people to the beach many who had made plans well in advance after all this is

Memorial Day weekend in fact many of the hotels are still booked the one we're

staying in is booked solid and we've been speaking with many vacationers and

everyone we've spoken with that say that they have no plans to cut their vacation

short just another day of living in Florida hurricane season starting up

here soon it's a little early but it looks like it's just gonna be a lot of

rain we have been in the water and it is extremely rough a lot worse than we

thought it was uh not only was it hard getting in but it was worse getting out

of the water

yeah and then she was one of the last visitors to actually go into the water

now the conditions have simply become too dangerous in fact just a matter of

hours ago the lifeguards changed the warning flags from yellow to red

indicating that there's heavy surf and potential rip tides and so they're

urging people not to take any chances to not only not go swimming in the Gulf of

Mexico but to not even wade in the Gulf until the threat passes now although

this may be a relatively mild storm as far as storms go it's not expected to

reach hurricane-force winds it is expected to be a rain event and

that creates the potential for flash floods in fact it was another tropical

storm by the name of Alberto back in 1994 it made landfall in the Florida

Panhandle not too far from where I'm standing right now it was a fairly

uneventful landfall but then in the coming days it parked itself over the

middle of the state of Georgia and rained for days causing River flooding

from Macon in the central part of the state all the way down to Bainbridge in

the southwestern corner of the state and so emergency management officials take

these storms very seriously urging residents and visitors to do the

same Wheelan yeah we've seen especially last year the power of the flooding in

terms of destruction versus the winds quickly Jonathan and we talk about this

every year as hurricane season begins our people heating those warnings to

stay out of the water that always seems to be a couple of knuckleheads you just

have to go surfing yeah by and large yes but there are some

surfers who are going out there they just can't resist the heavy surf

ordinarily the the Gulf waters are very calm but it's in advance of these storms

that you get surfable waves and so many surfers decide to ignore the warnings

and go out the one thing going in their favor is that surfers tend to be much

more experienced swimmers than folks like me I'm staying out of the water

no some smart move in the office I have to think about the lifeguards you might

have to go in after them if they're not as strong as they think they are

Jonathan good to see you we'll check in with you as the

and Alberta develops this well coming up on this special Memorial Day weekend

edition of 'america's News headquarters thousands of motorcyclists are

descending into the nation's capital crossing the Potomac River after

starting out at the Pentagon we're gonna talk to one of the founders of the group

of course that's rolling thunder' plus will be visited by a very patriotic

canine one of the many four-legged friends that serves our vets every day

and we're also gonna give you a very special tour of Arlington National

Cemetery and visit the grave sites of American heroes both famous and of

course unknown you are looking live at the poppy exhibit a temporary exhibit

here at the National Mall for Memorial Day you're looking at more than six

hundred and forty five thousand poppies this is one hundred and thirty three

feet long eight and a half eight and a half feet tall and we have been seeing

people stream in and out all morning early afternoon to pay their respects to

all the lives lost in our armed forces and right across from us right across

from the US and the but over the Potomac River from where we are our lives

Arlington National Cemetery home to some of America's fallen heroes we went on a

guided tour of some of the most famous grave sites ahead of Memorial Day take a

look this holiday was designed for friends and family of the Fallen to come

out to national cemeteries and decorate the graves of the Civil War dead

five branches of service multiple denominations of religious officiants

and families coming gathering here at Arlington National Cemetery to get be

that final respect to a veteran who served our nation

President Truman he mandated that all burial space and national cemeteries

that were opened after 1948 there'd be no segregation of any type

many people know about President Kennedy's burial here but he's actually

our second presidential burial first as William Howard Taft had a very

distinguished career in his own right public service in Jimmy Doolittle the

famous United States Air Force United States Army Air Corps four-star general

you have Joe Louis the brown bomber the boxer who served in World War two we're

gonna marshal the first african-american on the Supreme Court Stewart Rosa and

Apollo astronaut is buried here the Columbia and Challenger memorials are

located here as well as some of the astronauts themselves Pappy Boyington 26

shoot downs in World War two a Marine Corps fighter pilot an ace congressional

model Medal of Honor recipient powr in the war as well Tomb of the Unknown

dedicated in November 11th of 1921 it originally had the remains of an unknown

American soldier from the first world war subsequently we've interred and

unknown for the Second World War the Korean Conflict

in the Vietnam every headstone at Arlington is visited four times a year

plays flags in flags out most are in awe of the honors that our nation renders to

those that have served our nation does a fallen in combat it's it's a tremendous

event to see the military honor guard with the precision for which they render

the final salute the military funeral salute to the to the veterans we say

here at Arlington that honor speak when words can truly a peaceful peaceful and

a somber place to visit there are 400,000 people buried in Arlington

National Cemetery and every year they see upwards of three million people

visiting I suspect this weekend is one of their most busiest times and of

course a very somber time at the cemetery we went

President Trump will be there tomorrow after the break we'll sit down will to

sit down in Singapore actually happened we separate the diplomatic posturing

from the real negotiations and the thunder rolls thousands of bikers with

Hearthstone (Wild) Paladin 2 - 2018 *NEW* - Duration: 9:45.

Hello and welcome to another episode of the hostile series, thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you very much for watching this video

I really appreciate it. If you can share your friends also, I'll be extremely grateful as well

In today's video. I'm gonna be playing as a paladin deck laughs constructed

Which is very very very low-key this deck. I think like the strongest card and the deck is like a three-course card

And it just relies on just putting down millions. Oh, no, sorry turn costs whoops massive difference

Yeah, it just relies on just putting down those minions

Killing them off

Getting more minions to killing those off and just killing off your own minions pretty much just a create space to put more minions

So as you can see, I got a 1 2 and a 3

I think I'll save the 1 because it's a spell so I'll put down alt and Squire instead

And then I'll put on knife juggler next time so that in the third turn I'll be able to do

What this deck is all about very much. So as you can see, I'm already thanking the opponent because I know

That in two turns time. I'm gonna have no cards in my hand

Barring two divine favors

Okay, and also, whatever card

Dependent about coconut cards loads because I need to get in spite

The whole point of this deck is to get out of the cards

Just have no cards in my hand pretty much to dust the point on this deck

Okay

so as you can tell from now, it's like it's turn three already - so

Bang bang I don't even need to like attack the minion. He's like that's how bad is

This literally just going for them. He know that he's saying amazing

service over the second time this of anniversary excited is

Maybe not the food is not the first time I'll show this paladin deck. But this paladin deck is legendary

it needs a few more tweaking Zoar our life but is

Okay a bit frozen

Knife jugglers gone knife chocolate is very very important in this deck. But and this is a big but

He is not what the deck is all about

But if you use it properly

And yeah, it will go up

So I'm gonna have to put down the Archos veteran

Just because it's all about getting rid of the cause. I don't want to have no cards in my hand

I want to get rid of every single card in my hand everybody off

As you can look at my cars, they're all one one slice, but he majors probably think he's got a lot of time

You know to defend against me, but that is not true at all

Actually by turn ten, he'll be dead

So as you can see

So in five, I've already got five

Sauce and then up a ton see giant

Yeah, so what's he gonna do now, he's gonna have to focus his attacks on see giant or everybody else

And I'm gonna need to go to the toilet as well, but Maria I'm so excited that I'm just gonna hold it in I

See it get more cards get more cards. That's what I want

Okay, so he focused on see giant

I would have preferred if you focus on everyone else, but you can't have your your own way, you know

Now this could attack over everyone. Unfortunately, I won't be I've got to divine shields how many cards will be two cards?

I know it's never you it is what I feel to cause I can get two cards now

I can allow it

I've chosen to allow it. It's not really where for two cards

He's got another drawer hopefully he does I've gone over two cards

No

Honestly don't know freeze or minions Gus gray. Come on kill at least one minion this time, please

no, I

Wanted to put a direwolf

Okay

No

Just two cards though again

Actually would have been one card

So the minimum cards are like to draw it three

But four I have to play three cards

And for me to be able to play three cards, I need to fill up some minions. So here I'm gonna kill two minions

At least

So our message noticed but let eighteen mana crystals just waste escape 18 mana crystals to waste

That is how good this

Deck is I could just give my opponent 18 extra mana crystals and say here you have them are even lead them

That is how good this necklace

Obviously, it needs fine-tuning I will admit but yeah

Just look at this

Just click on my hand

But what could he possibly have

There's nothing there's absolutely nothing

There is absolutely nothing flamestrike

Lizard only for one turn

Destroy every single minion

Okay

Know what about next time

There's a little bit really nothing to stop it is dead. I

Don't even know my own warlock deck which is my top top step. But this card as well the critic

Oh my gosh

Like he pushed down use reinforced you get a Silver Hand recruit. You kill it you just

strengthened us to a Silver Hand recruit

But it's just is that crazy

You've got knife juggler

Right, not only do you get a one point for the silver recruit. So you get a one point for the for the dead guy?

It's crazy

Like he just took out the whole of my board

two terms ago and already I have

Almost a full board again

Like in fortnight terms this would be like one guy's got the

golden legendary scar and the other guy has got like a

Great pistol, but that's that's the difference between these two decks right here

Obviously I started off really really really well those divine favors. I didn't even need them

Because he keeps giving me cards at this

merlok

Look I also got Tyrion and I

Got another see giant into my deck

I've gotten another necrotic Monday. I

forgot that CalPERS odd, but I mean now

Fair enough golf is odd, maybe a bit overkill. I

Didn't even lose one help

Not one health and you can argue. Okay we go grab the 20 but

You know

The amount of times I've just opened up the game and gone and done something else

Right. I'm not I'm not gonna be like one, you know, that's how many times

But anyway, this deck fully excited me. Okay excited. You too

This was very very interested in to watch done to learn about this palette in deck

Hope you find a useful share subscribe. Thank you. Bye
