The animated guide to the intelligent edge (Explanimators: Episode 8) - Duration: 3:44.

Host: Okay everyone, settle down. Settle down.

Up next, we have Kevin Scott and his new computer.

Kevin is going to tell us about how technology will affect all our lives.

Audience Member: Boring!

Kevin Scott: So computers may seem like an abstraction to some of you, but people like

this guy, Bill Gates out in Seattle, well he believes that some day there will be a computer

on every desk in every home.

Audience Member: Yeah right!

Sure.

Kevin Scott: I'm serious, guys.

Audience Member: Booooooo!

This is horrible, just moonwalk or something.

Kevin Scott:Well, if you don't want to take it from me, take it from me from the future.

Host: What the...?

Kevin Scott: Don't worry, he helped build the search engine, and a social network.

Future Kevin: It's easy to just say I'm the Chief Technology Officer of Microsoft.

Kevin Scott: Hologram, I downloaded him from the future.

Host:H-h-hologram?

For real.

Kevin Scott:We'll explain that in another video.

Future Kevin: So yeah, Bill gates was truly visionary when he said "On every desk, in

every home."

After that it was in every pocket with smart phones, and now things get really interesting

with the whole universe of interconnected computing devices in every shape form and

size.

They come together at what we call the intelligent edge.

I'm talking about computing everywhere, in every thing.

In speakers, in screens, in white boards, in copiers, in the espresso machine in your

office, in appliances and toys, in speakers, and even the lights in your home, under the

hood and inside your car.

And not just on your desk, on your lap and in your pocket, but on your wrist, in your

glasses, and in your clothes.

Computing will be in so many places, and so much a part of your daily life, that you wont

even notice what is and isn't a computer anymore.

It's called the edge because these devices are close to where they are needed, but still

connected to each other and to the cloud.

It's intelligent because they use the power of artificial intelligence to sense what's

happening at the edge, and to reason about and act upon what they are perceiving.

Host: But I thought AI was going to be in the cloud?

Future Kevin: The edge allows all these devices to process data at the source.

Host: Well, what's the advantage to that?

Future Kevin: Imagine a hospital that has cameras, speakers and smart spaces that allow

staff to see, hear, and understand what is happening all around them in real time.

The hospital can use all the data from these devices to detect people, devices, and objects,

monitor what they're doing and to create alerts and automate tasks.

All of this helps to improve patient care, and it's all great news for developers.

Microsoft will empower every developer with the tool set and platform to build software

for the intelligent edge.

You'll be able to build cross device apps on a X-Box, a drone, or a smart appliance

anywhere in the world.

Microsoft's Azure is one of the many building blocks that we give engineers so they can

create intelligent edge solutions.

*laughs*

Swift the Falcon | Buzzly's Buddies | Kingdom Rock VBS - Duration: 1:33.

Thanks for watching Lifetree Kids!

Wow!

You're sure getting the royal treatment at Kingdom Rock, where kids stand strong for God.

I'm Swift, a fast flying falcon, who's ready to help you stand strong.

I'm not bragging, but falcons are the fastest birds in the world.

We can dive at up to 200 miles per hour!

That's faster than your parent's car can even go.

And in the winter, some falcons travel more than 7000 miles just to get warm.

We go everywhere!

I'm a fast flyer, but I want you to be quick and do something even better than flying,

and it's something you can do anywhere: pray!

In the Bible, Philippians chapter 4, verse 6 says, "Don't worry about anything; instead,

pray about everything."

When you pray, God hears your worries and your fears, and God's peace can give you strength

to do anything.

Prayer helps us stand strong!

DIY 6 Drawer Tall Dresser | How to Build - Duration: 12:00.

What's up guys, I'm Brad Rodriguez from Fix This Build That and today, I'm gonna show you

how to make a DIY Dresser. I made this one for my daughter

And I got all the materials for the build at the local home center

Now this build has easy joinery that anyone can do stay tuned

I'll show you just how I did it the DIY dresser is made from 3/4 inch plywood and dimensional lumber

I started by breaking down the plywood into manageable pieces with my Kreg Accu-cut guide

and my cordless circular saw

Next I took the smaller pieces to the table saw my cut parts for the sides of the dresser

These plywood panels will be joined to the legs using pocket screws

so I drove pocket holes down the length of each panel

The legs are made from two by twos

I cut all four of them to size on my miter saw using a stop block for the repeated cuts

I lined up the legs and I mark the ends to keep them in order and then I laid out cut lines for a groove or

a rabbet on the inside of the back legs

this recess will hold a quarter-inch plywood back panel flush on the back of the dresser when I install it and

The rabbet cut can be made with two cuts on the table saw

The first cut defines the width of the rabbit and the second one defines the depth and it also frees the offcut

And this feature could also be made with a router bit if you don't have access to a table saw

To assemble the sides I laid some

3/4 inch spacers on my bench to lift the plywood panel up to the same height as the legs

I put glue on the legs and then I clamp them in place and secure them to the panel with pocket screws

Now flush fit on the inside is gonna. Let me mount the drawer slides easily later.

I cut two pieces of trim to size to finish off the outside of the side panels a

1 by 2 glued and Brad nailed to the top and a 1 by 3 for the bottom gives the side panel a nice frame

and panel look

to give the dresser a little more detail I trimmed the frame of the sides with cove molding

I cut one into the molding take it to the side

Mark the fit for the next miter and then make that cut I like to mark

just slightly long when doing miter work like this

And after the initial cut I'll test fit and then take whatever little bit needs to be off after that

I'd rather sneak up on this cut then to cut it too short trying to get it right the first time

When all the parts were dry fit I came back and secured them all with a 23 gauge pin nailer

but a brad nailer or finish nails works fine here to

The sides of the dresser are connected by a bottom panel and stretchers on the top and middle

Which make the opening for the top drawers? I cut the bottom in the back stretchers from 3/4 inch plywood

But for the visible front stretchers and bottom trim. I use 3/4 inch solid wood

I drilled pocket holes around the bottom panel to connect the trim and secure the sides

I also drilled holes in the ends of the stretchers to join the sides

now all these holes are going to be hidden after assembly

For the bottom panel

I started by attaching the solid wood 1 by 3 trim to the front

then I secure the plywood back to him the same way

Securely clamping everything to a flat bench or work surface is really key here

Since you can't see the top of the joint with a panel upside down

In my design the legs stand proud of the drawers in the front trim by 3/8 of an inch

I like the extra shadow lines and interest this gives the piece

So I marked a reference line for the setback on the front of the legs and

then I secured the bottom panel in place with pocket screws

Then I moved up and secured the top stretchers in place as well

using a scrap piece clamped down to position the stretchers helps

keep them aligned while screwing them down

I measured down to establish the drawer opening for my top drawers

Then I clamped the scrap in place for reference and secured the middle stretchers as well

With all the cross pieces connected to one side

I moved the assembly out of the way

And then I laid down the other side on the bench and put the assembly on top

And working with gravity on my side always seems to go a little more smoothly

After I attached the bottom and top stretchers I cut the center divider for the stretchers

I sized it based on the opening between the stretchers on the other side

This helped me make sure that the opening on this side was the exact same as the first one

To finish off the connections on the top

I install the center divider on the front and cut another one that I attached between the back stretchers

The drawer slides for the top drawers need an attachment point in the center

So I cut and installed a piece for that as well

Now both Center dividers in the center mounting cleat are from 3/4 inch solid wood

So the mounting surface is going to be flush on both sides

With all the cabinet structure done I moved on to making the drawers for the dresser

This dresser has two small top drawers that fit and the openings

that I just made and a bay of four drawers that will fit

down below in the open space

The drawers are made from 3/4 inch plywood and

actually made a whole separate video on how to make easy

DIY drawers when I made it I

Go into a lot of detail around sizing drawers working with undersized plywood

versus full 3/4 inch stock in two different options for drawer bottoms

There's a link in the video description and a card up above if you want to check out the detail of how to video

Now the heart of the drawers in this entire build is the pocket hole joinery?

I want to thank Kreg Tool the sponsor of today's video who makes the

K4 Pocket hole jig and many other jigs and clamps that I use and a lot of my builds

The K4 jig is great for making a lot of pocket holes quickly and it's much faster than the smaller jigs

I'll have a link down below in the description to the K4

Along with the other Kreg tools that I used today like the Accu-cut track and the cabinet hardware jig that

I'll be using to install the drawer pulls

Before mounting the drawers I installed a quarter inch plywood back panel

into the rabbet grooves that I cut earlier I

Nailed in place with 18 gauge brad nails, and this helps keep the dresser square and prevents racking oh

And you probably noticed. I painted the cabinet white I just used the semi-gloss white paint nothing special here

To mount the drawers an account for the 3/8 of an inch

setback I set a scrap of plywood flush to the front of the middle stretcher to represent the false drawer front

I set my combination square flush with the back of that piece of plywood

and this gives me the distance to set back the drawer slide

Hardware I started at the bottom of the dresser cabinet

And I used a 1 by 4 as a spacer for the first drawer slide to sit on

then I pre-drilled and attached the slide with screws

I switched to a larger spacer for the next drawer slide and clamped it in place on top of the first slide

Using full sized spacers like this makes the drawer slide install quick and easy

just clamp the spacer in place to keep it from falling

Then position and attach the drawer slides for each drawer

An easy way to size a spacer like this is to take the distance that you want from the top of one drawer to the

top of the next drawer, then just subtract the height of your drawer slides

And this is going to give you consistent spacing between your slides,

and it makes install a breeze for these full extension drawer slides

to install the bottom drawer

I laid down a few strips of plywood offcuts to lift the drawer up off the base

and then I started attaching the drawer slides I

Pulled the drawer out enough to get to the first mounting holes

Then I flushed up the slide with the front of the drawer and secured a screw on each side

Next I pulled it out a little further and secured another screw on each side

I took out the door completely to access the back mounting holes and

put a third screw on each side then reinstalled the drawer

For the next one I use two plywood scraps stacked on each side of the lower drawer as spacers

Then I just repeated the same steps as before to secure the three screws per side

I repeated this two more times, and I had all four drawers installed

The top drawers, I installed the slides the same way as before

using a small spacer my combination square to offset the slides

Then I used the plywood strips I used for the bottom drawer and

mounted the drawer in the slots the same way

And once you do the mounting process it's pretty straightforward to do any drawer

You just need to have the right combination of spacers for your application

Next I made the top for the dresser

I was gonna go with a solid wood glue up for the top

But I had plenty of plywood left over and I wanted to put it to use

so I cut a plywood center panel and I drill pocket holes around the edge to attach a picture frame mitered trim

I used 1 by 3's for the mitered frame to give a nice solid wood look around the edge

and then the paint will hide the transition to the plywood panel

I cut the miter similar to how I cut the cove molding for the sides earlier

I did this all the way around the panel until I had four fairly tight-fitting miters.

I attached the miter frame with pocket screws and glue making sure to get lots of glue on the miter joints

After securing all the pieces I flipped it over and cleaned up any

glue squeeze-out before moving on to the drawer fronts

The last part that needed to be cut or these false drawer fronts

I cut the drawer fronts from plywood and I sized them for an eighth inch reveal around each drawer

Now in the past. I've used spackle to seal the edges before painting

But I wanted to try iron-on edge banding this time the banding has a heat-activated glue

And you just press a hot iron on it after it cools down and dries

You just come back with a chisel or a razor blade and trim off the excess now honestly

I didn't like this approach it took just as long as the spackle and

trimming the excess of the banding was a bit finicky

I painted the top and the drawer fronts, and then I was ready for install

To put the drawer fronts on I drilled holes in the drawer box and then positioned the drawer front

now for inset drawers like these I use a card trick to get perfect spacing

I set the drawer front on the opening then fill the gap on the top with as many cards as I can

Then I split the stack in half and put 1/2 under each end of the drawer

And this gives a consistent gap on the top and the bottom

I Use the same trick for the sides, and then I attach the drawer fronts with screws from the inside

For the lower drawer fronts I start from the bottom

And I used an eighth of an inch spacer on the top of the drawer to position the next drawer front it

Went quickly and then I had all the drawer fronts in place for the dresser

The top of the dresser is attached using some small cleats that I cut for the top I

screwed the cleats between the top stretchers, then I pre-drilled holes through the top of each of them

I center and clamp down the top, and I attached it with screws since I'm attaching into plywood

I don't need to factor in any wood movement. Which is really nice

Now the last bit of cleanup was to install the drawer pulls

I use my Craig cabinet hardware jig which helped me easily Center the poles on the upper cabinets

Then I made an adjustment for the larger lower drawers and finished off the lower drawers with knobs

Lining them up with the top drawer for a nice neat line of pulls

And here she is all buttoned up now if you've got a good eye

You probably noticed a bevel on the underside of the top that wasn't there just a second ago

I noticed something a little bit off about the piece and I decided to throw this

45 degree under bevel on the top at the last

Minute it really added that great finishing touch.

I think it needed my daughter is super pumped about her new dresser

How To Choose the Right Colours For Your Skin Tone | Warm or Cool? 2018 - fabulous50s - Duration: 8:55.

today I'm going to demonstrate the difference between a warm and cool skin

tone plus I'm going to teach you a naughty little trick that you'll be able

to keep up your sleeve for one day when you might need it so if you'd like to

know more please keep watching hi I'm Schellea this is fabulous fifties a

lifestyle channel that explores fashion beauty and lifestyle for women over 50

and if you're a woman over 50 click subscribe and click the bell and you'll

be alerted every time there's a new video and each video will relate to

women over 50 ok let's get into it working out if you've got warm or cool

skin tone is very important because if you've got a warm undertone to your skin

and you wear warm colored clothes your face looks luminous if you've got a

cool undertone to your skin and wear cool color clothing again your face will

look luminous ok I have done a video on how to work out your colors I'll leave a

link for you to check that video out but just quickly step one is to work out if

your veins are green or blue and green veins will indicate you have a warm skin

undertone and blue veins blue to purple will mean you've got a cool undertone

and if your greeny blue that means you're neutral and I'm today talking

about warm and cool but if you fall into the neutral category that means that you

can wear a variety of all of the colors and they'll make you look good just keep

in mind for you if your neutral to keep the contrast right and you'll be perfect

the second thing that you can do is test on your skin a gold and a silver color

use some fabric gold or silver awesome jewelry that you may have at home and

compare it under your chin so you hold the fabric up underneath

your face and you can pair a gold color to a silver color and you see which

makes your face look better for me I have yellow undertone so the yellow

undertone in the fabric is making my face look luminous and if you've got

pinky blue undertones the silver will look amazing I'm I can be a little bit

neutral so I could wear both but this looks much better on me so do this test

and see what you come up with another way to do this is to use something white

a bright a true white so I use this when I'm with clients but you get a white bit

of fabric or paper and you put it up towards your neck and you look at the

difference between the skin color and the white so if you've got warm skin

undertones it'll your skin will look slightly

yellow which is what mine does and if you've got very cool skin your skin will

look pink or the blue will come out and you'll be able to easily tell when you

try this so there you go some quick tips to work out how to do your skin

undertone I'll just show you a couple of examples on me to help you get a good

feeling for this my skin my hair my eyes and my eyebrows all kind of blend in a

little bit that I'm very medium contrast someone who has very dark hair and light

skin is high contrast and somebody who is say blonde with blonde eyebrows very

light eyes and feschi and they be low contrast so for me I'm medium contrast

and that's why I want to teach you this really naughty trick because if you can

work out how to do the right thing you'll also know how to do the wrong

thing and if you're feeling like you don't want to go to work one day and

you're not sick and you just want to go and have some fun I'm sorry to all the

bosses out there I'm a boss too but if you're the boss

you'll be able to tell if someone's doing this but what you do the day

before you want to have the day off you wear some clothes to work that are the

wrong color for you so if you have a woman to turn like me I would wear a

cool color and I would wear the wrong contrast so I'm a medium contrast and

I'd wear a high contrast color for something like one of these colors

they're cool and they're very high contrast and if you can see these colors

on me they don't make me look good so this is just a demonstration how what

the difference is between a contrast this is very high contrast is lots of

pigment in these colors and against my warm undertone skin they don't make me

look good these colors I look healthy and I my skin looks radiant the reason

is because these colors match the undertone in my skin I'll give you an

example this makes me look sick if you wear a little less makeup as well ten

times better and on these if I had an ash color to my hair you can if if I was

having this check it out the difference between the warm color that's in my hair

to an ash color against my skin these are little tricks they use in the movies

to make us look old and if you had like very cool skin and put like a yellow

into the blonde in your hair it would make you look the same as this makes me

look so ash looks terrible on me and worn gold highlights don't look great on

cool skin so this is the trick if you want it if you want someone to think

that you're not feeling well you wear the wrong color just say that you've got

a pink undertone so you've got cool colored

skin and you have dark hair okay so you've got a high contrast these colors

would look great on you so you've got cool skin dark hair high contrast if you

wanted to go to work and appear to be sick you would wear these colors so

they'll past early colors warm and earthy or you'd wear this kind of color

or a or a dusty caramel color it will draw the color right out of your face so

colors with a lot of yellow in it will do the trick for you and you'll be able

to go to work and the boss will actually tell you to go home because you look

sick if you have very pale skin and bare eyebrows light eyes and blond hair and

you're very cool so you wear a deep heavy earthy color like a terra cotta or

something like that something very high contrast and very warm you will also be

sent home from work and maybe get a week off I hope this little demonstration

really helped you to work out the difference between warm and cool and I

hope that you've got something up your sleeve to use next time you feel like

just having a beautiful day to yourself and not needing to make an excuse to

anybody give it a try let me know how you can go and just quickly if you'll

notice in the movies this is what they do they will outfit one of the

characters in the wrong color for their undertone of skin and and that's how

they make their characters look older or very plain or it make them look sick

so next time you're watching a movie see if you can pick it okay please give a

thumbs up if you enjoyed this video and share it if you have a friend who would

love to know this special little trick that they can use on their boss next

time they feel like taking a day off and thank you so much

for watching I really appreciate it and have a beautiful day

What are Dwarves? | Know Your Fantasy - Duration: 7:13.

Hey folks, New Know your fantasy video is go! This has

to be the most requested subject for this series, so let's talk about my favourite

D&D race, the stocky subterranean Dwarf. Hi, I'm Tristan Johnson, and this is Step

Back History. Be sure to click the subscribe button as well as the bell notification to

never miss a new Step Back video or live stream. The word Dwarf not surprisingly comes from

old English. The word Dweorg which had cousins in various Germanic languages like Norse and

High German. They all hail from a proto-germanic word… uh… that one đwerȝaz. Beyond its

source though, what the word means seems to be still up for grabs. Some linguists think

Dwarves might be nature spirits associated with death or even have roots to far-off Sanskrit

demons called dharvas. Semantics aside, Dwarves have their origin

in Scandinavian mythology. In the 13th century, we have recordings of dwarves in Norse poetry. For

example, in the poem Völuspá The Norse legend about Dwarves is they came from the blood

of the giant Brimir, and the bones of the giant Bláinn. However, scholars think these

are just different spellings for the mythological character Yimir. In true Norse fashion, Dwarves

are a sort-of maggot infesting Yimir's flesh before the gods gave them sentience. Some

poems claim Dwarves held up the sky. Other myths cast them as muses inspiring works of

poetry or as lusty monsters who hound the female goddesses. In the Ynglinga saga, they

get, their first reference as metalworkers, and associate them with living in the mountains,

or at the bottom of mines and with death. One apparently was set to marry Thor's daughter,

but when exposed to sunlight turned to stone. You can also throw in a bunch of associations

from Norse mythology about elves. So, go see my elf video to complete this story as they

cross over quite a bit. Often dwarves were merely called black elves.

After Christianisation, things began to change. It's not til this period Dwarves were even

referred to as short. They were "lesser" beings, but not til this period did that turn

into literal smallness. Dwarves were usually depicted as small, about

18 inches tall or so, ugly, and with big beards. There appears to be very few references to

lady dwarves. They lived in the mountains with their own tribes, kings, chieftains,

and armies. Their subterranean halls filled with gold and treasure. They could even see

the future and create magical items. They were kind, but angry when betrayed.

Like with my discussion on elf arrows in my elf video, Dwarves also seem to appear in

Anglo-Saxon medical texts. They were thought to be the cause of insomnia. Some scholars

suspect the old English word for Dwarf might be the root of the term nightmare, which was

the medical word for a fever. Scholars have a whole bunch of theories as

to how Dwarves came about in mythology. Some suspect the Dwarves as smiths and living in

the mountains is a distant cultural memory of stone age people.

However, one exciting theory might be my favourite. People who worked in mines might have had

a propensity for shortness. Mining throughout European history was a specialised and capital

intensive craft. Often, miners would develop a culture, law, and jargon all their own as

well as guard their trade secrets. They'd teach it to their children, but not to strangers,

and this would pass down through generations. Now, just like chimney-sweeping, the shorter

you are, the better when it comes to mining. Before dynamite, the wider a tunnel was, the

more expensive it would be to maintain. So it would be twice as expensive to make a tunnel

for someone six feet tall rather than someone four feet tall. So the tall children were

probably encouraged to find a different line of work, even leaving the mining colony. This

would result in a sort of natural selection effect.

So if you ran into a colony of tiny miners with their own language and were very secretive,

you might develop some myths about them. Now, let's bring this to modern times. The

Dwarf we know today came into prominence through the Grimm fairy tales. Snow White and her

seven roommates. Disney picked it up, and the rest is cinematic history.

Then, we come to the almost unavoidable section where we talk about J.R.R. Tolkien. This is

one of the first texts which distinguishes Dwarves from Elves. Much of what we think

about Dwarves is from Tolkien's amalgamation of mythology mixed with his own world building.

There are two ways to pluralise Dwarf, Dwarves with a v, or dwarfs with an f. The former

becoming famous because of a grammar mistake by J.R.R. Tolkien that he decided to just

roll with afterwards. There is also a discussion amongst Tolkienists,

yes a real subfield of literary studies, that addresses one problem that comes up in Tolkien's

work. You see, Tolkien himself went on a lengthy discussion about how his Dwarves were astonishingly

like… the Jews. A nod to the pretty common antisemitism of his period.

REMEMBER: As the dark mother says, you can critique the problematic aspects of a piece

of media and still enjoy it. *The More you know*

And of course, we come to the world of gaming. Dwarves feature prominently in Dungeons and

Dragons. Gary Gygax took those black elves, thought to be Dwarves, and made them their

own subspecies of elf called the Drow. And now in most games, having Dwarves around is

pretty symbolic that there's gonna be some fantasy going down.

What I'd be curious is about why in some of these worlds Dwarves are extinct, like

in the Elder Scrolls series or Warhammer 40k. If you have a guess there, leave it the comments.

There we go, the Dwarf. An icon of the fantasy genre, and lots of fun for years to come.

For sure my favourite D&D race. What should I tackle next in this series? Type it up in

the comment box after you call me a nasty word!

I gotta finish this with a plug for the D&D series on Twitch I perform in as a player

every Wednesday night. It's called Tales from the Sanguine Isles, and in it, I play

a Dwarf Monk. Quite a sight to see! So if you want to see what crazy shenanigans we

get up to do to Twitch/tv/dungeon-dwellers and cheer us on!

No One Thought This Cat Would Find A Home After His Extreme Operation - Duration: 7:05.

No one thought this cat would find a home after his extreme operation

Oh

Titus is a strange name for a cat, but then again

Oh Titus was not your average feline for the first eight years of his life

He was just like every other cat

That was until the day when he came down with a tragic ailment that nearly cost him his life

The surgery was a success of course, but poro Titus soon lost one of his trademark features that made him a cat

Thankfully his story didn't end there life had a few surprises in store for the nine-year-old feline Oh

Titus was just an ordinary healthy house cat with a loving family like many furry Pat's he sat in boxes

He played with cat toys

And he had an unhealthy relationship with catnip that he was finally getting some real help for that

Is until the day he started to develop cysts inside his ears

These cysts caused him a terrible pain so much so that he stopped playing entirely

It got so bad that he barely moved at all sometimes

The family was left with no choice with no way to afford the surgery he needed

They had to put the poor kitty up for adoption Oh

Titus's family surrendered him to the feline rescue

Association of Baltimore

They were more equipped to deal with his oral condition and were most likely to be able to place him with another loving family

Once they'd helped him as best. They could that is if they could help him

Thankfully the staff at the shelter managed to raise enough money for otitis surgery. There was just one problem

The cysts had become too infected and his ears would have to be removed entirely

Once the burden of his ears was gone. However otitis his mood improved dramatically. He was finally on the mend

The loss of his ears had left the nine and a half year old kitty completely deaf and yet he seemed to be thriving

He stayed with a foster family for a few months while he waited a new family to come and adopt him

But what can a household want an old cat with no ears?

Molly licked and Walter was a young woman looking for companionship

She'd been through an ordeal of her own when a car accident had left her experiencing bouts of extreme anxiety

Having grown up with animals all her life

Molly knew that a lovable kitty cat would be just the thing to help her through the bad times

She had no idea well ahead of her

Miley had grown up on a farm when she was a youngster and as such had

experienced her fair share of barn cats and assorted animal companions

she had even owned a deaf sheepdog in her younger days and found that she liked caring for animals that needed a

little bit of extra love and help

She went on petfinder.com and read about otitis a nine-year-old special-needs cat with a severe deformity

It was like love at first sight when otitis popped up

I knew he was the one she said immediately she reached out for the rescue Association and asked about his behavior

What she found out was that otitis was a friendly cat who didn't seem to let his deafness or of lack of ears get him

down she also discovered that while many people ask about him no one ever put in an adoption for him until she showed up as

Soon as she met otitis in person Molly took him home

He was nervous at first

Unfamiliar with Molly and his new house. It was understandable

He was bereft of one of a cat's most important senses yet, not a day later. He came out of his shell

He warmed up to her immediately before long. He was snuggling up to his new forever human, and she needed it

Just as much as he did

Molly had been suffering from severe anxiety as a result of her car accident in

the past nothing had worked to quell that feeling of nervousness like the cuddles of a furry friend as

It turned out Molly had been right about otitis. He knew that Molly had rescued him and was all too. Happy to show his appreciation

Through helping her as well

Molly's not alone either

There are people these days who use emotional support animals to calm feelings of awkwardness or anxiety

These animals can be cuddly friends like dogs or cats but can also be parrots rabbits snakes lizards and even ponies

It all depends on what works for you, and how empathetic they are some like otitis are extremely empathetic

Molly loved her new friends incredible sense of empathy

according to her

otitis could always tell when she was going through a rough patch and would come over to console her by snuggling up against her and

purring loudly

He's by far the best thing that ever happened to me said Molly of her new feline friend

She even remembers waking up from a nightmare one night to find otitis sleeping pillow

Her heart was thumping in her chest and the cat seemed to sense it

Going as far as to walk from her pillow onto her chest until her heartbeat went back to normal

Otitis knows how to help his new owner whenever she's stressed or having a panic attack and

Responds calmly as if he'd been working as a care animal his entire life

Molly's admitted that otitis is sometimes the only thing that can calm her down when she's having an anxiety attack even before her therapist

Today the two new friends have formed a perfectly symbiotic relationship

He's the best thing I ever did and he definitely rescued me. I didn't rescue him

He rescued me says Molly, and it's not just his incredible animal empathy either that makes her Titus and delight to have around the house

Despite being 10 years old and death Oh Titus is no slouch when it comes to being playful

He still has active and affectionate as he ever was

Without the pain of his ears in the sorrow of his situation in the adoption center the kids really opened up

He's even more inquisitive than he ever was Oh

Titus attitude has been described as both

Sassy and very loving he loves people and doesn't go running and hiding as you'd expect to death slightly abused cat to do

It seems his old age and his trials have calmed him down quite a bit and helped him to trust others

He's even kicked that catnip habit for good all in all it's a happy ending

each year approximately

2.7. Million dogs and cats are killed because shelters are too far and there aren't enough adoptive homes

Thankfully Oh Titus didn't become a statistic and was able to benefit from the love and kindness of strangers to get him well again

Oh Titus is just another reason that you can't tell a book by its cover

Well, it's sad that Oh Titus had to leave his original family and that he lost his ears to a terrible ailment

It's comforting to know that he's found a perfect home and a perfect owner

There's a place for everyone and everything even old no eared cats with great attitudes and uncommon empathy

5+1 példás magyar politikus - Duration: 12:24.

Hi guys! As everyone love lists, and its "layoffs", I thought I will set up a list for you

As in the past there was shopping lists and Soros-agent lists

I would like to show to our right wing which suffering in apathy,

That its possible to do politics with spine and with values. So lets check 5+1 Hungarian politician from the past 100 years, who were able to this

The list is really subjective and as I don't really like this kind of "left" and "right" wing terminology, I will use it for better understanding

So I considered as right winged, who is absolutely separated from any kind of lefty ideologies

like any kind of socialism. Better say traditionalist, based, right winged-principled and centrists are on the list.

We must see watching this list, that the historical context is just a helpcard to understand the acts of these people.

Im not a historian, its not the purpose of this list to analyze history, but rather to the strictness toward values

how could they promote it, or bring them through the political scene.

There will be a man who we analyze only his act in a given timeframe and of course, there will be full oeuvres as well

and the 5+1th will be an example that not only the 20th century produced these kind of politicians.

Of course I must say - as a red tail - that I do not agree 100% with these people

We must consider that nothing is black and white, and there are periods and acts, which the Hungarian right wing should learn from.

The moral consistency of the people on the list was the more important.

As: were they able to change the saloon to prison, never give up their values, and stand for the truth when their existency or their life depended on it.

So for me they became idols.

The queue is only time based, so for first lets see the most ambivalent politician of Hungary,

our see-less admiral, Miklós Horthy de Nagybánya

I said the time-frame part because of him. His early reign is clearly different from his later era

as he kept the country in a feudalist state.

He is on the list, because I wanted to show, if there is will and aim, we must act.

Its incontrovertible act of Horthy, that he saved Hungary from the bolsheviks

He was there when its needed and said no for reds. He always supported centrist politicians,

And as he had a pact with Engand, he didnt let the far-left and far-right become strong in Hungary.

So the reason is why the young Horthy is on the list (the young and old Horthy is as different as y. and old Orban)

So the young Horthy is an idol, as he was an experienced officer and he acted when it was needed

The next 3 on the list were almost in the same interval in our history, so here we must leave the timeline a bit

But then lets start with the politicians who were active between the two world wars.

The next on the list is Pál Teleki

The whole nation is suffering in the loss of Pál Teleki. Who sacreficed his whole life for his country.

After his long service of his country, his owned hand finished his life on Earth.

Lot of things are disputed aroung him, but the fact that his politics were based on morality, is undisputable.

His ability to see a bigger picture and not only ruling the moment, is respectful.

The fact he supported Poland against the 3rd Reich, he confronted with Germany as f.e. he refused to use the railway,

He took all the Polish refugees, and these highlights the fact that he could think in 1000 year long friendships and he saw the whole circle.

Or just to continue: he established a Hungarian legion for Finland,

And what caused his death: the Yugoslavian incident

So the country had been forced in to a decision where he could loose his spine, and he said no.

Of course I never encourage anyone to commit suicide, the example in his life is how strict a person can be toward its morality, fo its true principles.

The next one will be prime minister as well: István Bethlen.

He was always loyal to his principles. Ofc I dont support all of his decisions, like the part he always was pro-latifundium

But his dozens of attempt to become an independent state, is undisputable.

As the Battle of Budaörs (Wudersch), where Charles IV. wanted to come back and however Bethlen was always a legitimist,

he refused the Habsburgs between the world wars.

He always wanted an independent country, not bonded to Germany or to Russia.

And his minority-policies were absolutely awesome towards the rusins and other minorities living in Hungary.

Which is from an ethnopluralist point of view, is just awesome!

And we can't pass beside the fact that he was the only one who minimalized the territorial loss in sqkm after Trianon.

The next person is... I will be honest, for me, as a guy came from the far and centralized,

I still have parts from the romantical side of defeated in world war.

This part is the echochamber, where people hardly get out

So when I had a discussion with a Hungarian public person, who to turn back in the Hungarian right wing,

first it took my breath that noo way to this guy.

But its aggravated me that much, that I stepped out from my comfort-zone and I've started to read more about him,

not just reading articles from the so called oldschool echochambers.

So after I've read more about him, I've realized he played a big role in the moral independency of Hungary.

He was always able to discuss things even with his political opponents,

and in the end, he died for the independent Hungary.

Its noone else, but Endre Bajcsy-Zsilinszky

Everyone can dspute from left and right as well that he was a "racist", or far right,

Or from the right that he was a traitor, or whatever.

But please, just try to think as a politician in '45, and however lots of us say that we could never be independent

Its not true! We can be independent! At least we must fight for it and then we can achieve it!

But if we are jsut sitting at home complaining about "we must belong to someone", we cant be independent form America and Russia,

I would tell to these people that Hungary belongs to Europe, and independence an old European value.

So Endre Bajcsy Zsilinszky is on the list, because he always fought for independence, which is a high principle for me.

The 5th, and officially the last person of the list, is a real European civil.

A real traditionalist, who were thinking in >Europe< who never forgot the lonely post-societ Central(!)-European countries,

He was a patron and spokesman of Central-Europe, and to be accurate:

"He was an excellent man with Hungarian heart" - this is how we remember to him.

He played a huge role in the return of Hungary to the Europe which now must be reformed.

This man was officially a Western European, but he took the cross of these small nations.

This man is noone else, but Otto von Habsburg

They asked hat my feelings are on this day? And I said I praise God for the Hungarian miracle in Europe!

The miracle that we survived everything! And if we would have been rational, we already should be dead!

But we survived!

His heart resting in peace in Pannonhalma, so this is also a reason why he is on this list.

And beacuse theres a huge need for those politicians, whose arm isnt bending only toward themselves.

And who try to act for the bigger part, and who see Europe as an independent power in the world.

The 5+1th man on this list is a bit separated, as he showed us how to do politics with spine in the 21th century.

This person is close to my heart as he taught me on university, and I realized there that

that heyy someone is teaching values, not only the lessons!

This person is József Ángyán, who left the Fidesz when the land-reform hit in and he said it was enough.

I will leave the fraction (Fidesz), and will continue politics as an independent.

I will not join to any other party, I am an allied of the people, and I want to do politics and lift the country with the fair people.

Even though, the political scene right now is very incorrect and unfair. (2012)

I tell you, my young friend that whatever carreer they propose to you, never assist to unfair politics

I would like to ask you to be the part of politics, as your commission. We are here to listen to other opinions.

He was the one, who gave up his party-family, he left his fraction,

And he said that what he believed in, he will believe in the future as well

He is strict to his principles, he tried to fix the system from inside,

and when he saw he cant bring through these changes, he sat to the independents.

And consistently stood for the small- and medium farmers

and he tried to speak against that the Hungarian lands are owned by 2-3 people.

For he its very important. He is a doctor in agricultures, a real specialist.

I think in his personality, a real specialist was in charge of the Hungarian agriculture,

And theres a huge need for specialists with straight spine which never bends.

Its not okay if theres a specialist but he/she does what they say from above.

Ángyán's spine never bended. He was the good person in charge, but when the situation escalated to the point

that he had to choose between his moral and financial existencials,

He choose the moral. So thats why he is on this list.

My aim with this video was to highlight that however the European and Hungarian politics are spineles,

its not just an option but a must to do politics by principles.

We must not wait for the messiah as the opposition. What are they expecting? In one of their protest, a great leader will lift up in shining lights?

No. I picked these examples from the past from the right wing as they are closer to me in principles,

But what is more important and what I usually try to promote,

is to create the based and valueful and principled civilian level of the society. So try it!
