A Story that Can Save Our Lives! - Duration: 4:57.

So our heroine, our lady, our good lady. She goes to see the doctor again.

And he says, 'Well, what's going on with you?'

She says, 'I can't take it.'

'You can't take what?'

'I just can't take it period. I can't take it. I can't take it. I can't take it. Everything, and I mean everything upsets me!'

'Well, I... all right. Is there other, you know - what's the word I want, symptoms?'

'Yes. Recently, it doesn't matter where I am...

I find fault with everyone and everything. I'm not even looking for fault, and I see it!'

He says, 'What else?'

'All this guilt is coming up.'

'First, something makes me judge something. Then I hate myself for judging it.

'And then when I hate myself for judging it, it turns into some kind of conversation I have with myself.

'Or I'm trying to escape myself and the more I talk to myself about how much I don't like myself, the more I don't like myself!!'

Does this sound familiar to you at all?

'Is that it?' he said.

'No. I can't stop feeling this great dissatisfaction with myself.

'Nothing I do is right.

'And worse, when I finally do something right not one person mentions it.

She says, 'You know I lost three pounds?

'Not one person has said anything to me about it!

'Just thinking about it', she says, 'steams me!'

'What else?'

She said, 'Well, you know, I've always rushed. But now I find myself rushing and I'm not even going anywhere!

'Just sitting at home, and I'm in a rush!

He said, 'Is that it?'

She says, 'Isn't that enough?'

He says, 'Yeah that's more than enough.

'Let's do some tests...

'and see what's going on with you. Because we have to rule out organic problems.'

Now, just to make the story short, she does not have a candida problem.

She has a consciousness problem.

So she comes back two weeks later, 'What's the story doctor?'

'So well I've been able to do a complete diagnosis.'

'Well, I'm glad. What's the problem?'

He said, 'It seems that you have UAFUSS.'

That's just what she said.

'UAFUSS?'

'UAFUSS? What in God's name is it? Is it serious?'

What did he say?

'Well it can be very serious. In fact, it can be fatal to you both physically and spiritually', he said

'Well God, what am I gonna do?'

He said, 'Well don't you want to know what UAFUSS is?'

'Yeah.'

This is not (my discomfort).

He said, 'UAFUSS is an acronym.'

He said, 'You might want to write it down Christine, and then we'll talk about what we have to do.'

'Alright', she said. 'Give it to me.'

He said, 'It's U-A-F-U-S-S:

Unappeasable Appetite For Unconscious Suffering Syndrome.'

Unappeasable appetite for unconscious suffering syndrome.

It's the most staggering thing in the world.

And gradually through your work and learning to observe yourself and finally being a true witness to your own life...

Instead of letting your life be defined by the appetite that appears in the unwanted moment.

Let's back up a little bit. Do you understand what that means the appetite that appears in the unwanted moment?

Aren't you in the moment that there's some, a disturbance some pain?

Are you not instantaneously hungry for and looking at anything that can remediate that condition?

And it doesn't matter what it is. It makes no difference to that nature.

Sam Meets Mikaela 'Eyes On Mikaela' Scene | Transformers (2007) Movie CLIP HD (+Subtitles) - Duration: 7:32.

Dude, are you sure we're invited to this party?

Of course, Miles. It's a lake. Public property.

Oh, my God.

Oh, my God, dude, Mikaela's here. Just don't do anything weird, all right?

- I'm good, right? - Yeah, you're good.

Okay.

Hey, guys, check it out.

Oh, hi.

Hey, bro. That car. It's nice. Hey.

So, what are you guys doing here?

We're here to climb this tree.

I see that. It looks... It looks fun.

- Yeah. - You know, I thought I recognized you.

You tried out for the football team last year, right?

Let's go call your mom.

Oh, no, no, that... No. That wasn't like a real tryout.

I was researching a book I was writing.

- Oh, yeah? - Yeah.

Yeah? What's it about? Sucking at sports?

No, it's about the link between brain damage and football.

No, it's a good book. Your friends'll love it.

You know, it's got mazes in it and, you know, little coloring areas,

sections, pop-up pictures. It's a lot of fun.

That's funny.

Okay, okay. You know what? Stop.

Hey, guys, I know of a party. Let's go, let's head.

You got to get out of the tree right now. Get...

Just get out of the tree right now, please.

What are you doing?

Did you see that dismount? All the chicks were watching.

You're making me look like an idiot. We both looked like idiots just now.

- Hey, how about you let me drive? - Oh, no. No, no, no. This is not a toy.

These 22s, I don't want you grinding them. No.

Why doesn't my little bunny just hop in the back seat?

God, I can't even tell you how much I'm not your little bunny.

Okay.

You'll call me.

Who's gonna drive you home, tonight?

Hey, man, what's wrong with your radio?

- I'm gonna drive her home tonight. - What?

She's an evil jock concubine, man. Let her hitchhike.

She lives 10 miles from here, okay? It's my only chance.

You got to be understanding here, all right?

All right. We'll put her in the back. I'll be quiet.

- Did you say, "Put her in the back"? - I called shotgun.

I'm not putting her in the back. You got to get out of my car.

- That's a party foul. - What rules?

Bros before hos.

Miles, I'm begging you to get out of my car. Okay?

You can't do this to me.

You got to get out of my car right now.

Who's gonna come around when you break?

Mikaela! It's Sam.

Witwicky.

I hope I didn't get you stranded or anything.

You sure?

So, listen, I was wondering if I could ride you home.

I mean, give you a ride home in my car, to your house.

There you go.

So...

I can't believe that I'm here right now.

You can duck down if you want. I mean, it won't hurt my feelings.

Oh, no, no, no. I didn't mean here with you.

I just meant here, like, in this situation, this same situation that I'm always in.

'Cause, I don't know, I guess I just have a weakness for hot guys,

for tight abs and really big arms.

Big arms?

Well, there's a couple new additions in the car.

Like, I just put in that light there.

And that disco ball. And so the light reflects off the disco ball.

Yeah.

Are you new to school this year? It's your first year here?

Oh, no, no.

We've been in the same school since first grade.

- Really? - Yeah.

Yeah, a long time.

Well, do we have any classes together?

- Yeah, yeah. - Really? Which?

History. Language arts. Math. Science.

- Sam. - Sam. Yeah.

- Sam Wilkicky. - Witwicky.

God, you know what? I'm so sorry. I just...

- No, it's cool. - I just didn't recognize you.

Yeah, well, I mean, that's understandable.

No, no, no. No. Come on.

Sorry, I'm just working out the kinks. You know, it's a new car.

When I get that feeling I want sexual healing

This radio is, like, you know... It's an old radio, too, so...

Sexual healing

Look, this isn't something that I, you know...

I can't get this radio to stop. Look, I wouldn't try this on you.

'Cause this is like a romantic thing that I'm not trying to do.

Not that you're not worthy of trying something like this on.

- No, of course not. - I'm a friend of yours.

I'm not a romantic friend. Romantic friends do this.

I mean, I'm not that friend. I mean, we... I could be.

I feel good

Just pop the hood.

Stupid. Shut up, shut up, shut up.

Whoa, nice headers.

You've got a high-rise double-pump carburetor.

That's pretty impressive, Sam.

Double-pump?

It squirts the fuel in so you can go faster.

I like to go faster.

And it looks like your distributor cap's a little loose.

Yeah? How'd you know that?

My dad. He was a real grease monkey. He taught me all about this.

I could take it all apart, clean it, put it back together.

That's weird. I just wouldn't peg you for mechanical.

Oh, my God.

Well, you know, I don't really broadcast it.

Guys don't like it when you know more about cars than they do.

Especially not Trent. He hates it.

Yeah, no, I'm cool with, you know, females working on my engine.

I prefer it, actually.

- Okay. You want to fire it up for me? - Oh, yeah, yeah, no problem.

- Thanks. - You know, I was thinking.

You know, if Trent's such a jerk, why do you hang out with him?

You know what? I'm just... I'm gonna walk.

Good luck with your car.

All right.

Walking's healthy, right?

Oh, God, no, no, no, no, no, no.

Come on, please. Please, you gotta work for me now.

Don't let her walk away. Come on, come on, come on. Please, please.

Baby come back any kind of fool could see

Hey!

There was something in everything about you

Baby come back you can blame it all on me

Hey!

Wait a second!

I was wrong and I just can't live without you

There it is.

I had fun. So, you know, thanks for listening.

- Oh, yeah, yeah. - You... You think I'm shallow?

I think you're... No, no, no.

I think there's a lot more than meets the eye with you.

Okay.

Yeah.

All right, I'll see you at school. All right.

That's stupid.

That was a stupid line.

"There's more than meets the eye with you." Stupid.

Oh, God.

Oh, my God. I love my car.

Incredible Photos of the Planets in Our Solar System - Duration: 2:53.

Incredible photos of the planets in our Solar System

Mercury Roman messenger of the gods

Orbital period around the Sun: 87.97 days

First observed by ancient civilizations, including the Romans, Greeks, and Sumerians.

Mercury could fit inside of Earth more than 18 times.

Venus Roman goddess of beauty/love

Its atmosphere is surrounded by thick clouds and its surface can reach more than 800°F.

Venus (through violet and near infrared filters)

On June 8, 1975, the USSR's Venera 9 lander touched down on Venus.

It sent back the first-ever photos of another planet's surface.

It transmitted data from Venus for 53 minutes.

1.16 Venuses would fit inside of Earth.

Earth

"Earthrise" was taken on Christmas Eve, 1968, by Apollo 8 astronauts from lunar orbit.

EPIC (NASA'S Earth Polychromatic Imaging Camera)

snapped this picture from one million miles beyond Earth.

Mars Roman god of war

Iron oxide (rust) on the surface makes Mars appear red.

And Mars is home to Olympus Mons, the largest volcano in the Solar System.

6 Marses could fit inside of Earth.

Jupiter Roman king of the gods

Pioneer 10 took the first photos of Jupiter in 1973.

[comparison of Pioneer 10 photos from 1973 to Juno photos from 2017]

More than 1,300 Earths could fit inside Jupiter. Three could fit inside the Great Red Spot.

Saturn Roman god of agriculture

Saturn's main rings extend about 300,000 miles past its center

but the outer rings reach over eight million miles from the planet.

Earth could fit inside of Saturn 764 times.

Uranus Greek god of the sky

Unlike other planets in the Solar System...

Uranus is tilted on its side.

And though it may look featureless...

Uranus is covered by layers of clouds and it may rain diamonds there.

63 Earths could fit within Uranus.

Neptune Roman god of the sea

Only one spacecraft has been to Uranus or Neptune— Voyager 2 in 1989.

There's a lot we still don't know about the ice giants, including how they formed.

Earth could fit inside Neptune 58 times.

I Took My Velomobile to a May Day Event - Duration: 9:42.

Hello! I'm Saukki.

It's the May Day, the first of May. Vappu in Finnish

Today there is all kinds of Vappu events everywhere

And now I'm going to one of them.

It's a local event, and they asked me if I can show my velomobile there.

So let's go!

By the way, turn on the subtitles, because there is going to be some Finnish language on this video.

Great! Now you have subtitles on!

Oh yeah, a flat tyre.

This tubeless is not working.

Well there was some mark on the side wall of the tyre

and the sealant just couldn't seal the hole.

So it seems that my tubeless setup was a failure.

But more on that later. I will make a separate video about my tubeless setup and how did it fail.

So, subscribe!

I still have sticky fingers because of the tubeless sealant.

"How heavy it is?" It's about 30 kg.

"Is it carbon fiber or fiberclass?" It's carbon fiber.

"So it has gears?" Yes it has MTB drivetrain with 30 gears.

"Is there any luggage space?" Yes there is lot of room behind the seat.

There is room for camping gear or grocery shoppings or something...

"What's the top speed?"

In Nivala there is this long downhill. There my top speed was 89 km/h.

"Ooh!"

"How many of these there are in Finland?"

Maybe about 60 velomobiles.

"Where do you steer it?"

Here.

There is brakes and horn and turning signals...

...and bell

"Have you felled?"

Almost few times. It's interesting feeling when there is one wheel up in the air.

"Was there empty space at the rear end?"

Yes there is space. It's just awkward shaped space because there is the rear wheel.

Can't put anything big...

"But it's fully enclosed."

But there is room for your camping gear, tent and sleeping bag.

"What's the weight of this?"

This is about 30 kg in ridable condition.

"Would you like to mount E-assist kit to this?"

According to Finnish law, the assist should stop after the speed reaches 25 km/h.

It would be quite pointless here, because there is not so many big hills where the speed drops below 25 km/h.

"Who is selling these?"

I think there is no one in Finland selling these anymore. You have to order them directly from the manufacturer.

"Where do you steer it?"

Here is the handlebar.

"You should have E-assist."

Noo... it's quite pointless here on this flatland.

"How heavy is this?" It's about 30 kg.

"How fast you can go with this?"

You can go same speed as mopeds go.

My top speed was 89 km/h going downhill.

"How unsteady this is?"

Well, if there is strong side wind, then this might be unsteady. But usally it's not.

"This hasn't fell before. At least there are no crash marks."

No, I haven't fell. Few close calls though....

too fast on corners.

"Does it have front wheel steering?" Yes.

"What is the material?" Carbon fiber.

"What kind of package this was when you ordered it from the Netherlands?

It was ready to ride. "So there was nothing to build?"

I just had to adjust the bottom bracket position and seat position. Nothing more.

"Where is this made in?" In the Netherlands.

"Can I ask how much money I need if I want to buy one of these?"

This one was 8k€

"Can you open this somehow if you have to lube the chain or something?"

Well, it's easy to lube the chain. You can take this cover away and the chain is just under there.

But if you have to replace the chain, that's a little bit more work.

"So it's rear wheel driven?" Yes.

"It's not three wheel driven?" No, it's not.

"How can people tell which way you are turning?"

"Oh, there is turning signals. Look at that!"

There is blinkers, horn and lights. "How heavy this is?"

About 30 kg.

"Can you tell if you are riding on headwind?"

The headwind has not much effect. But the side wind may throw you around a little bit.

"When I saw this first time I was sure it has a motor because it was moving so fast.

"Does it have normal gears?" Yes it has normal mountain bike drivetrain.

"Where do you steer this?"

There.

"How well the car drivers see you? Well the orange color is quite bright" Yes, they will se me.

"It's not so cold to ride with this during spring?"

No, Allways sweating a lot, no matter what the weather is.

"Yep, it's a little bit too big for you"

Yep, a little bit.

"You should be able to see outside"

"How much does this cost?" This was 8k€

You can take this.

How much does this kind of thing cost?

Well the price for new velomobile is something from about 5k€ - 6k€ up, depending on model. This one was 8k€

Well that was fun!

There were a lot of interested people and one guy was almost going to buy one for himself.

And you probably saw the theme here. Everyone asking almost the same questions.

Because, well, those are the things people want to know.

But okay, I think that's all for today. Thanks for watching!

Please remember to visit my webshop and buy some awesome T-shirts, or something.

Ok, see you on the next video, bye bye!

More women accuse Charlie Rose of misconduct - Duration: 0:38.

More accusations of sexual misconduct against TV host and journalist Charlie Rose have surfaced.

According to a Washington Post investigation, 27 more women said Rose sexually harassed

them.

The report also claims CBS managers were repeatedly warned about his conduct toward women at the

network.

In November, several women told the Post that Rose had made unwanted sexual advances toward

them.

CBS News promptly fired him, and PBS terminated its relationship with him.

Rose responded to the new allegations in a one-sentence email that read,

Classical Musicians React: RM 'Reflection' - Duration: 10:46.

Katie: I see what they did there! the choruses are completely instrumental

Katie: And I was just wondering... why don't they do something more with the

Katie: Chorus like solos take solos or something

Katie: But it's it's just kind of it's not monotone, but it's very like

Katie: Low moving.. low engaging because it gives you time to reflect it gives you time to think

Umu: Moving on to solo number five this is rap monster, he is another rapper

Charlotte: what a name, I want these people's names!!!

Charlotte: Like if I could be called suga and pull it off, and if I could walk around and people would be like yo what up rap monster

Charlotte: I would be like YAAAAAS

Peyton: i'll call you Suga <3 Char: aww

Umu: Okay, so this is reflection

Umu: But it was actually originally titled In ttukseom. RM is actually the leader of BTS and he is also a rapper

Hugo: He's dope as f*ck

Umu: Although he sings it this one actually Hugo: OHSHIT

Umu: The reason why he wanted to call it ttukseom was because he took inspiration from the

Umu: Experiences that he had while sitting on a bench

Umu: In ttukseom which is a park

Umu: He visits his park when he needs a place to relax and clear his mind and think about things or even compose songs so

Umu: While he was there

Umu: He wrote down exactly what he was hearing and exactly what he was feeling and this song came to be. the sounds that you hear

Umu: at the beginning of the song actually

Umu: He recorded when he was in ttukseom

Umu: He says that this is a song he wanted to make for someone taking a walk in the park

Umu: And that's how he decided on the title reflection... go ahead Charlotte: cool

Peyton: You can see a park Charlotte: yep

Hugo: Oh I dig the synth f*ck yeah

both: Wow Kevin: 1-7-6-5 like

Kevin: Like major Yunyi: yeah major 2nds

Yunyi: he's going everywhere wow

Charlotte: that's a sequence, descending sequence Peyton: yeah right

Kevin: wow Yunyi: his english is great

Fiona: oh I love that, I love that switch between languages lindsey: yeah

Peyton: i like that, this , these sounds

Kevin: dangggg still pretty personal

Henry: That's a good pedal Db that's going through

Henry: It's weird

James: "2-3"?

Hugo: Oh James: yeah

Yunyi: I like how the verse ends on like such a positive note, and it goes into this really positive instrumental chorus Kevin: Oh, yeah

Kevin: Why is it empty ? huh.

Kevin: interesting Yunyi: I love it

Peyton: It's like these are like some neo soul chords or at least the progression sort of is

Fiona: This is so relatable like you have to go out into the real world and like get out of your own head

Fiona: ahhh Lindsey: this is crazy because when I have time to myself to think, this is too similar to my actual thoughts

Kevin: What are chords?

Kevin: A major G Major F Major E

Just parallel majors. It's a descending tetrachord- minor descending tetrachord based- composed using major chords

Fio: I Like the lil synth-y voice in the background and the occasional 'yuh'

It's like...I feel I like the songs building, and he doesn't sound so alone. I think that's added from the beginning.

Linds: I also like how he started the song singing and then when he went into the actual thoughts in his head

That's when he started rapping

It's like his own conversation wiht himself

Katie: More, I guess it's not text painting because there's no text.

But I see what they did there the choruses are completely instrumental

And I was just wondering why don't they do something more with...with the...

Chorus like solos take solos or something

But it's it's just kind of it's not monotone, but it's very like

Low moving low engaging because it gives you time to reflect it gives you time to think

Char: same

Pey: yeah, I mean- Char: yeah

Char: I really do

Pey: in the meantime we can just love each other

Hugo: dope as shit. Umu: yeah, so if you think about that song overall musically

And how it matched the feeling of you know trying to reflect while listening to music? Hugo: I think this one out of all of them did

the best of having the music match the words mm-hmm

I mean, it's excluding like the one where he was like "I play piano", and then there's like piano and the metronome

That was kind of like

Setting yeah, yeah

But as it pertained to overall feel and overall idea of text and overall idea of the music they went together

So how do you think musically it fit the meaning? was that the sounds or the melodic content the overall structure?

All of it with the legato synth and the beat so that when the hit actually happened you had a nice bass line

But it wasn't too punchy. It was a nice

*sings* ba two three four

*sings* ba two three four buhh

So the main beat James: also a chord progression that you wouldn't necessarily have too ofen

*sings* baa whole step whole step half step

And it was nice because the beats were on the heavy 1 2 3

4 instead of 1

2 3 4 1 2 3 4

So just bigger beats kind of lended itself

To naturally more like valuptuous song

Pey: they just kind of like set up this one vibe- but it doesn't move around so much as the other one nice

Char: It does its purpose with what he said that he wanted it to be for people who are walking through a park like honestly. Yeah

Yeah, it would be very nice to just be outdoors on the night stay in a nice Park

listening to that, just walkin around. I would enjoy that.

Pey: I Think that's something I'd want to listen to like if I was like- you know like if I needed to be alone

ya know? like it's not like even though surrounded by people, obviously you're like- Char: it's a good like thinking was on yeah, right and you said it sounded kinda, yeowwww soul

Umu: right and you said it sounded like...kinda neo soul-y?

yeah umu: what made it sound like that?

Just the way. I don't know like using a lot of extensions like in the chords

Also like the progression itself didn't really move like

It the typical stepwise motion and like the way they harmonize it like the by think the bass notes might have been pretty

idiomatic but like the way

They like actually harmonized them was a little a little more hip than your usual- Char: I like how both the textures for

The rappers have been pretty simple

Just interesting because you would think they might want to add more

Because there's not really like per se like a melody line

But I liked the fact that they kept it simple and allowed like the words to just do their thing

Fiona: This song was clearly about reflection which I think it set it up from the beginning with the rather like repetitive

echo synth, yeah

Yeah with a nice reverb

And it made me think of water and made me think of him standing you know- mulan style Linds: in the park?

or high school musical 2 style like Troy Bolton staring at the water

and it reflecting perfectly even though it doesn't happen in real life...but

Linds: no I definitely agree

Linds: I Really liked how when he he like started singing, and I was like oh he's singing he's not even rapping

And then like when he actually started going

Into his thoughts and like you could tell he was delving deeper into his own brain

And that's when he started rapping because that's like his thing. That's like more natural for him. I feel like so he was just like

doing that

Well he was thinking Katie: it's very repetitive musically very bare kind of dreamy

It's exactly something I would zone out to and it helps that the choruses are instrumental because it gives you time to reflect

Yeah

It's very

Very - i'd call it like nebulous like it's just like it creates the space and then his voice is just so low and kind of like

Soothing in a sense to just be kind of like feeling your chest so if you're like walking in a park listening to this

like you're gonna like you're just kind of like you just take a step back you just

Just kind of take it all in you know the key he nailed it on the head with the industry with the instrumental chorus

That's when you just kinda let your mind wander Kevin: that's cool for a rap song especially there isn't it doesn't

Slenderman is Back, Experience YouTube Horror - Duration: 13:55.

Holy cow, how lucky are we that there are still Slenderman series out? If you're

not new to the internet you like creepypastas you're familiar with the

horror side of YouTube or because of the upcoming movie event that I'm sure

there's gonna be lots of publicity for you are now learning about Slender Man

lucky you everyman hybrid and tribe 12 has started posting again I'm so excited

Barry I'm very excited very I'm sorry I'm probably blew the mic levels I'm

best right like I love Slender Man so much I have at least a gig of me a

footage of me running through the woods and if you dig through my old videos on

this channel there's at least one that where I do a Slenderman set up but I am

NOT slender or tall but it was fun and I love it if if this is too much for you

needed backup Slender Man is a creepypasta he's in a new the Internet's

first urban myth arguably by idea channel so sometimes he Slenderman

sometimes he's the stranger sometimes he's the operator sometimes he has

tentacles but he always it's generally a blank face man maybe the arms of

different lengths who teleports around and tortures victims in the woods and is

able to get into impossible places like the first when I was in the thick of it

and catching up on all the Slender Man series a couple years ago probably 2000

2013 or something like that God so that's so great I'm so excited

like I I would stay up till is too late and then I would have to go around and

make sure all of the doors and windows were locked it got in my head so bad

what's great about the Slender Man series it's not it's not quite a found

footage

it's not quite a found-footage kind of art it is a vlog it's a horror vlog

people talking to the camera uploading videos to YouTube and doing it sometimes

they find footage but a lot of times it's just them and they all and

sometimes they go the extra mile and put AR games out in the world and you'll

stuff defined and real different internet things to set up to figure out

for puzzles it's all the fantastic things about the internet my two

favorites have always been one Marble Hornets

which finished up its run I think it was in 2016 a couple years ago it finished

its series so you can go back any time and see a fantastic faun horse

you and like any other kind of genre it kind

of has its tropes so the cool thing about it is you don't see the monster

very often Marble Hornets you don't see the monster until episode 3 and it's

like a glimpse but it always does ah but it feeds off of the feeds off of

personal space violation Slenderman can go anywhere you can show up in your room

at night while you sleep he messes with your memory he makes you doubt your own

sanity and drives you insane which is

which is the didactic and vlogging excuse to have a camera on you all the

time so it's not just that this Slenderman thing is stalking you it's

that it's stalking you and you have to voluntarily give up part of your privacy

recording yourself 24 hours a day in order to know it's not messing with you

and to be able to experience your own memory because you can't have memories

anymore and also it keeps you up at night which also is so great it also

combines the really cool aspect of going into abandoned buildings and exploring

it like I hope these people get permission though dude on your own but

old abandoned buildings are so cool to go through this kind of the the plant

overgrowth and everything being broken and to imagine that this was once a

functioning place and now it's just covered in overgrowth and it's like

dilapidated and there's something supremely creepy about that so what

really struck me and what really what really told me that was so drawn in and

captivated by this is I'm watching this video and there's a guy breathing and

the camera is going everywhere and it's in the woods that I am close to the

screen I am pausing every other frame to see if I see something and I realize

he's just running through the woods it's a person running through the woods and

just because they put him in little any corner of the screen

it's a Where's Waldo for the monster he's not always there but sometimes he's

there and you just have to pause it and like see if you spot it it's fantastic

so we got so far for this we got horror we have personal space invasion we have

the creepy unknown we have voluntarily giving up your own privacy

we have Where's Waldo aspect and it's all vlogging and like that intrusive

kind of life log it is it's fantastic everyman hybrid took this idea and kind

of kicked it up a notch

what what's this said the operators circle

so every man hybrid was made by a bunch of guys they're all strong they work out

knives they have knives weapons and they're all huge fans of creepypastas

while other Thunderman series people run away and they need to hide and they like

stay indoors and don't socialize and feel isolated everyman hybrid was a

group of very capable testosterone driven men who fought the Slender Man

there is a point where they go after him with a baseball bat and hit him with a

car it's it's incredible they get into teleportation where there will be

pockets of space that lead to another spot where you climb into your friends

closet you can come out in an abandoned building somewhere and they're able to

cut it up together really seamlessly and fantastically and it it's disorienting

for you the viewer and they're disoriented and it's just fantastic we

say we're fantastic a lot cuz I'm so everyman hybrid does not stop at the

Slenderman they they grab a couple other creepy pastas they also get into the

rake and the habit and it's like these are guys that know and love creepy

pastas and it's they've been on a tiny a hiatus but in the story the story's been

a hiatus because they've been because we're down to one character and he's

stuck in a house with the habit who is protecting and torturing him it's I

don't know why these slender and series are popping back or if like there was a

Kickstarter I missed or if for some reason the movie studio is paying them

to get going again in which case this is the best which case this is the one and

only reason why I like the movie a short aside on the Slender Man movie I it's

not out yet but for what I've seen it in the trailer they took the Slender Man

and then they just put it in a generic ID sorry I clapped they took the Slender

Man and they put it in a generic horror movie which

is not the Slenderman you know all those things I just listed about why it's so

fantastic the movie might not do those and does look like it does it looks like

a very generic horror thing where Slenderman is an offbeat internet kind

of horror thing and it's just not my Slenderman

it's another one it's another script just

oh man looks like an old deer path hey where is it raining too

ah sorry this was a long hanging brush there

- weird *mr. song world scripts*

oh no it's the slender cam

I just had to guess about that in the peculiar art form of a vlogging horror

fantastic huh thanks for watching and now I have a patreon that you can go

to there you can get some very personal rewards other than just watching my

videos you can read my writing and I can write things to you with your name and

said them to your house

Why Climate Change is Unjust | Hot Mess - Duration: 5:11.

What do you think of when you hear the words "climate change?"

Chances are, you might think of sad nature, somewhere far away.

But climate change also affects humans, in every corner of the world, including the corner

where you live, and where I live.

It impacts the people and places we see everyday, and it will impact some of us more than others.

[TITLE]

The 2017 Atlantic hurricane season was one of the most active seasons in history -- with

17 named storms and 10 hurricanes.

Six of those hurricanes had winds more than 110 miles per hour.

And while it's hard to know if any single weather event is due to climate change, we

do know that it will make conditions more extreme.

We're seeing what that future could look like in Cape Town, South Africa.

There, a drought has stressed local reservoirs, leading to water rationing as the city prepares

for the day when taps run dry.

And when you take a community that's already facing these disparities, and add in extreme

weather caused by climate change, it can make it even harder for those communities to recover.

Not every community experiences these climate changes in the same way.

Some communities have more resources, better infrastructure, or more political capital than other countries.

There's a concept to deal with these inequalities.

It's called "environmental justice."

And the idea is pretty simple: Communities shouldn't be forced to suffer disproportionate

environmental effects or deal with more pollution than others because they belong to a certain

race, national origin or income bracket.

People in wealthy countries often think these concerns are far away.

But even in a place like the U.S., where we tend to think we're ahead of the curve on

protecting all people, the execution has been spotty.

We can still find lots of environmental disparities right in our backyard.

As Miami cleaned up after Hurricane Maria, officials dumped debris next to a community

with lots of low income residents and people of color...definitely close enough to see

and smell it.

And in Houston, residents who couldn't afford or weren't physically able to evacuate before

Hurricane Harvey had no choice but to stay behind as the city flooded.

Puerto Rico has faced budget shortages and a lack of infrastructure for decades.

And after a spate of hurricanes, residents there had trouble finding clean drinking water,

and large portions of the island remained without electricity for months.

It's more than extreme individual events.

In many places, days that were already hot are getting even hotter, and there are more

of them.

This heat can be especially deadly in homes without air conditioning.

For example, the heat index inside public housing in Harlem stays dangerously elevated

overnight, even when it cools off outside.

And as climate change brings the average temperature up, systemic inequalities like this will become

more obvious.

It's not that the United States hasn't tried to fix these problems before.

The fight for environmental justice in the U.S. traces its roots to 1982 in Warren County,

North Carolina, when residents mounted mass demonstrations against a plan to put contaminated

soil in a nearby landfill.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, or EPA, found that similar landfills in southern

states were all located in black or low-income neighborhoods.

Several years later, a report found this was a pattern around the country: hazardous waste

facilities were more likely to be located in minority communities.

The proof was undeniable, so in 1992, President George H.W. Bush founded the office of Environmental

Justice inside the EPA.

Two years later, Bill Clinton signed an executive order that told federal agencies to consider

environmental justice in all policies, and effectively included environmental protections

under civil rights law.

Sounds like things were going pretty well, right?

Well, environmental justice policies stalled when George W. Bush shifted the focus of the

Office of Environmental Justice from protecting low-income and minority communities to protecting

"all people".

That sounds good, but in practice, it meant those efforts no longer focused on protecting

the people who needed it most.

At the same time, many environmental civil rights claims were delayed for years, or downright

rejected.

After Barack Obama's election, his administration re-committed to environmental justice.

Democrats controlled the House, Senate and White House for two years.

But guess how many bills they filed to strengthen environmental justice protections?

Zero.

Today, EPA funding itself is under threat, so these vulnerable communities remain at

risk.

It's easy to assume that climate change will affect us all equally, but the truth

is that communities all around us -- including the one you're in -- may be forced to bear

an unequal brunt of our changing world.

If we want to change this, we have to recognize those disparities and engage with those communities

That way, as we find solutions, everyone has a seat at the table.
