as a vlogger the transitions that you use can make all the difference in that
all kind of flair to your videos today I'm going to show you a couple of
different in-camera transitions that anyone can do with any editing software
much better so the most common trick that you generally see from vloggers is
either the hand cover or the chest bone and these are really easy to pull off
you just cover the lens in one scene and you remove it in the next really easy
stuff here anyone can do this the other really common one is the
camera roll it's a simple transition to perform the hardest thing is just
remembering which way you rolled the camera now this is one of my favorites
you know that one's kind of fun cuz you almost don't even notice it it's really
easy you just pan to your hand at the end of a scene then pan away from your
hand at the beginning of the next scene and you know what this one's pretty easy
too and boom you pan around an object and you continue to pan around a
different object in the next scene and that's simple it's how it works this one
is fun this one I like to call the spinaroonie so that's how that one's
done basically the intro scene you spin around you add a little jitter to the
end of your spin then on the next scene you jitter and you spin around in the
same direction and boom you're all set you can use the jitter to make the
transition in your software and you know what just adding a little bit of motion
blur makes all the difference in this one super easy this one is a lot of fun
if you have a friend that you're shooting with admittedly that last
transition does take a tiny bit of editing just create a mask that follows
your subject across the screen super easy takes about five minutes I
haven't run into any editing software that doesn't have this capability
and that's all there is to it so there you have it
eight in-camera transitions that are super easy and can take your vlog to the
next level there are a lot of fun to do try them out you know of other in-camera

What's a small country to do?

Trump's trade war is bad for the world and it's bad for America.
But just because your neighbor throws rocks in his harbour,
doesn't mean you should throw rocks in your harbour.
A recent World Bank paper looked at four different options for a
developing country in the trade war, and it turns out that the
worst option is to fight back.
It creates inefficiencies, because then you have to devote
resources to producing things you are not very good at producing.
Exports for the average developing country would
decline by 0.3 percent and GDP by 0.2 percent,
twice the costs of doing nothing.
But even better than doing nothing would be to sign trade
agreements with all other countries than the U.S. in the
middle of the trade war.
This would increase exports by 1.7 percent and increase GDP
by 0.4 percent.
For Latin American and Caribbean countries close to the United States,
one option was even better than trade agreements
with everybody else.
And that option was turn the other cheek.
When Trump imposes tariffs on you, drop your own tariffs.
As usual, whatever the question, the answer is free trade.
