Hi everyone, I'm Jenna Culshaw accessplanit's Product Manager and welcome to

our first release notes video of 2019! We've got a lot of exciting new features

planned for you this year and we've started with a bang!

This release includes a

brand new payment gateway option, big updates to two areas of the system, and

lots of little new features to improve your experience let's take a look. There

are four key areas of your system that we've improved within this release, along

with a big list of honourable mentions. We'll start with our new integration

with Stripe. Stripe is the latest payment gateway that we've integrated with, and

so far we're very impressed. Stripe handles international payments and

currencies and it's used by companies like Kickstarter, Slack and Misguided. If

you'd like to know anymore about Stripe take a look at our latest blog post - I've

included a link to it in the video description.

The second area that we have improved is the manager access, there are two updates

to the manager access view. The first is that managers can now cancel or request

to cancel delegate bookings. If you currently allow your delegates to cancel

or request a cancel in their portal this option has now been extended to their

managers, this option will be available to your managers from a right-click on

their delegate DataGrid. The second manager access change is to display only

relevant users managers will now only be shown users who belong to their main

account and they can filter out inactive users to keep their user less nice and

tidy. Moving on to our Moodle additions, we've added two new features into our

Moodle integration module; the first is that any updated start and end dates in

your accessplanit system will be sent over to Moodle, keeping the courses in

sync. And the second is that when your delegates receive a score in Moodle, that

information will be sent back to and stored within your accessplanit

system. And our final big development, when

assigning resources to your courses you can now enter the quantity in

use, this means that if you have a course that needs five pen-drives

you only need to assign the resource pen-drive once with a quantity of '5',

the resource expenditure will be calculated and displayed at the bottom

of the screen for information when you click Save!

You can now schedule your eCampaigns, simply enter the date that you would

like the emails to send at the bottom of the form. You can now access the File

Store for your courses via your Course Calendar. You can edit and access your

temporary invoices from your delegates DataGrid this means that you can go

from temporary invoice to committed invoice in four clicks! You can now

insert a booking link into your opportunity workflows, when your

customers click this link they'll be taken directly to your accessplanit

shopping basket with each of the course items and quantity from the opportunity

added ready for them to book. For those users that have multiple employment

records you now have control over which account is set as their 'main account'

this is really helpful for reporting in your DataGrids and searching for users

in various pages of your system. If you integrate your invoices with Sage you

can now assign tax codes to your Course Templates these will automatically be

included in the feed to Sage. We've updated the terminology of user statuses

so enabled has been renamed to active and disabled has been renamed to

inactive. And last but not least we've added 'Date Registered' into the users

courses DataGrid - you can access this page by clicking on the courses tab when

Marc Newson on Ferrari - Duration: 1:35.

I knew immediately what I wanted to do because the whole thing about Ferrari was about racing,

about the engines.

And one of the most iconic and significant engines of the period was the famed V12 250

engine.

I think they represent a particular type of Italian savoir faire.

That became my immediate source of inspiration, it was the engine.

This particular engine.

My name is Marc Newson, industrial designer, having just finished this wonderful project

with TASCHEN for the Ferrari book.

My collaboration with TASCHEN started probably five or six years ago now.

Because TASCHEN had done a book about my own work, so that was obviously a great starting

point.

Fundamentally, I was trying to fit a book, trying to sort of shoehorn a book, into an

engine.

the whole concept was that it is, and looks like, a Ferrari engine.

That was the point.

I wanted people to look at it and it be impressed with the complexity of the object itself.

Because, obviously, TASCHEN books are unlike most other books.

Idle Wizard: NEW IDLE GAME ON STEAM! - Gameplay Walkthrough #1 - Duration: 18:57.

well hello there everyone we gameplay vids 24/7 here welcome to the first part

of my idle wizard gameplay walkthrough series for the PC players and German

idle wizard has just been released on Steam to the best of my knowledge though

it is an older title but I think it's just made its first appearance on Steam

pretty much the game is about a wizard trying to be as powerful as possible you

can get some pets as well and also you can get spells can't wait to see what's

about to go down please remember of course they hit that like and subscribe

yeah let's kick it off now shall we so all we need to do I think is tap that

orb in the middle there we go we're kicking things off here I'm gonna

purchase a manage em the manager gives me 1 x of 15 okay so I'm assuming that's

going to give me that to man up yes it is cool so we're automatically

generating mana right now which is great we're gonna continue to manually click

here though until I can upgrade my manage em cuz right now I think the

items on the right side generate the idle boost you know what I mean like the

idle DPS there are 50 mana looks that mana is the currency right now I can

unlock DoubleClick's right here the upgrade increases a click profit by one

just continue to click here as much as we can generate that mana actually

upgrade manage am quite a bit there if I can manage em is now on level 8 I mean

this game shouldn't be too hard to understand right nice 15 minutes

unlocked ok else I'll play DotA Whitsitt for 15 minutes already sweet now you

can't actually get classes in this game which is very very cool so right now I'm

an apprentice right level 1 apprentice but you can get multiple multiple

classes man I can't wait to show you them all was this what did I should do

240 matter oh yeah I'll take that definitely

so now as you can see in top left corner we're generating quite a bit of manner

there straightaway off the bat we can keep this up though we should be able to

get quite a bit of upgrades as well what's the next operate gonna cost heavy

clicks is 425 Manor we just upgrade that grimoire again I just love it up all the

way there as well level 2 on the apprentice

as you can see click on change class and now you can pick your classes we have a

draw a demonologist necromancer Arcanist prodigy void mansur exorcist chrono man

sir amber answer is an alchemist EIN soul

abhilasha shaman heretic Oni Archon temporal list and Desolator so that's

for the classes and we don't get that to a level 15 I'm fairly sure I did just

unlock heavy click step by the way guys so now we're doing 6 damage per click or

maybe even generating 6 mana per click as well could be if you want to base it

on damage or clicks whatever you want to do manner quartz increases amount of

gems profit by 100% nice and what we'll do a level up manager and a bit more

their mana gem is generating 52 point 38 percent of our total mana income which

is pretty nice I'll tell you that it's pretty good dude so you keep on clicking

here obviously both it generates what is this 20th level on the manage em there

we do have a new item here spell fountain

the thing will level up spell fountain in a second as I'm saying it idle idle

ways it seems like a very cool game those are there's tons and tons of doing

and I apparently spent in development for like two years or so so yeah I'm

very very interested in that I will show you guys the pets here as well so let me

just show you the pets so we have a pixie zombie a monk ulis daemon or demon

everyone do I got a daemon but you know demon golem

and risen giant simulacrum is it's in the camera pit L*** anemic instruct okay

profit by 13 definitely gonna pinch that straightaway I think it'd be quite silly

not to upgrade it will focus on upgrades straight away I mean my priority will

probably will do upgrades first guys and then we'll do the items on the right

side achieve unlocked all okay okay just increase my mana profit again there

sweet demeanor per sec there it's fourteen point sixty nine right now I

can obviously click faster than that first experience grants a first spell

scroll allowing to choose and cast spells okay

gem resonance or magic missle let's do a magic missile

so if I click I generates a magic missile here is it instantly owns one

minute of production it seems like when I click it helps boost that production

there was a magic missile she currently complain me there right from 6.5 or even

past the elements at 10k mana right now your shoe's magic missiles straight away

there now we're on twelve point something there

again 2.44 came an hour sooner using magic missile extra kick increases

character critical profit by 70% sure now I'm doing a hundred damage there per

click if I do get it critical I'm now level 3 as well I think level 15 I get a

new class so can I now choose a pet yes I can the pixie click the profit

increase by 25% per level auto click one times per second for each of the 20 pet

levels click profit equals 2 character click profit with critical chance of 50%

and critical profit 100% of characters critical chance and profit gains

experience through her auto clicks ok let's go we now have a pixie pet

everyone there you go let me just use mana a Gates increases and manage n

profits by 150% yes please definitely take that up - you have to upgrade some

spells - and I think just upgraded spell fountain a bit their elite just to boost

that mana per second just use the magic missile there as well okay to spell

fountain again now generating 135 mana per second 154 mana per second beautiful

staff we're actual doing pretty well right now

everyone I'm just thinking don't grab my manager McGann soon though that's the

thing spelled founders gonna cost one point

zero eight million G says to get 25 batches of it it's quite intense

sorceress quick is increases click profit by 43 that's pretty sweet with

128 damage right now guys per quick crits are pulling in over two hundred

and fifty nine now at a wall of increases click profit by two hundred

so looks like you can actually have hot keys here as well

so hot key one activates magic missile no worries we keep that in mind

Wizarding clicks increases click profit by eighty again I guess since I'm gonna

be sitting in front of the computer mostly to record this episode it's like

I might mainly spec into upgrades and serve the idol damage perhaps but do you

need like a solid mix of both I mean it is an idol game so you probably need a

solid mix of both their grimoire just had an upgrade of 100 percent then by

the way when Apple in 382 mana per second ladies and gentlemen just passed

a hundred K Manor in total powered sources increases profits by fourteen

point twenty three percent based on amounts of grimoires doing very very

nicely here but else we were exile going into exile makes you lose progress

in exchange for mysteries and one-trillion manner to unlock exile

current amount of mysteries is zero each mystery increases profits by three

percent right so we do have a whole bunch of things we still have to unlock

here let's like we even have achievements as well

yeah we have to go into exile eventually garlic s increases Auto bonus was 0.25

percent but now generating 437 matter per second

just try not great the manage em as soon as possible here I reckon they go manage

em upgraded beautiful I'm always level 5 here guys as the apprentice my pixie is

almost level 3 I have to say I am liking I'd always it quite a bit I'm gonna scam

has some pretty fun potential dude for sure once you get into the later stages

especially about to pass 200k manner right now very good not gonna get any

upgrades for my items anytime soon nobody looks of it if you guys can see

here right now I can't really upgrade in batches anymore so I'm just gonna unlock

the enchanted tree there well we're just picked up something then that was cool

you guys see here just enter just picked up something Carol one of these totems

or whatever it is something else to pick up around here no okay oh good

all right sorry manage Act increases managing profits by 200% rituals for

beginners increases grimoire by 100% peace and chanted tree increased spell

dropping manner per seconds dropping quite a bit there

leveling in batches does help quite a bit

anything else at this point can I I'll just keep using the magic missile I know

second just remember this game is 100% free now what does that doing down

so now if I let it expand down as I mean I click I get all those shards spell

shards maybe I suppose chars every spell shots gain passively per second three

right now I think got feeling that's what it is dude achievement few books

brim wise at 50 now they will fifty grimoire guys very nice

I definitely recommend you all try out idle wizard though like play along with

me maybe if you want to we don't make the most sense to it we can all play

together I've started a whole new game here see

might as well just smash out the clicks right now trying to get that magic

missle up it's in about 5 million right now trying me an enjoying at six point

twenty five million just for that manage em increase I really do want to do it

anime assistants increases Idol bonus by 0.20 and an additional by ten percent

sure I spent all my money on that might as well no harm in that dude keep on

buying upgrades as much as I can here yeah we will get the manager as soon as

possible here and we'll save up again I'll control my spending urges guys

don't you worry but I'm just pumping out the click damage right now

there were nine now sweet we just hit level nine very good for us

about four points 50 million almost okay 4.15 gonna use another spell great stuff

I'm gonna get that manage em now guys get ready for

almost at a solid 20k mana per second dude which is great for us no strike

right here my single file alchemy desk 22.4 that

wonderful stuff they say do it bro I won't even say up for the alchemy desk

just again almost at level 10 as well Pixies at level 6 things are going

pretty smoothly there 3.30 8k mana per second right now ladies and gentlemen

there you have it don't try and get in charted tree 225

the path level 10 upgrade the alchemy - yet again here guys let's generate more

Episode 46: 10 TIPS to play the top voice / high recorders - Duration: 14:44.

This is Hester and this is María. Together we are the CONSORT COUNSELLORS!

In consort playing, every musician is equally important.

It doesn't matter how many players there are,

each and every one of them are equally responsible and significant for an impeccable final result.

However, we have to admit that each role in consort playing has its own characteristics.

It feels very different to play the bass, the top line or a middle line.

You have to adjust to the specialities of these lines to get the best results.

Today we would like to give 10 TIPS for those of you who are in charge of the top line.

Playing the upper voice in an ensemble often means playing on a small recorder,

maybe a descant / soprano, sopranino or even garklein.

Our tips will help you to become a better top line player,

but also a better player of the smallest members of our big recorder family.

You may have encountered people who think that small recorders always sound shrill and unpleasant.

This "social pressure" towards players of the soprano recorder

means that a lot of us try to play the instrument as soft as possible... and a bit scared...

However, the reason why high instruments exist

is because they can sound brilliant, like trumpets; sweet like birds and light and agile like butterflies!

Finding all these colours is a much nicer inspiration than being "afraid" of our own sound.

So, don't be shy but SHINE!

Play a series of three long notes: the high E, high G and the middle C.

When you do that, listen very well and feel the vibration of the sound under your fingers.

Find the perfect sound for each of those tones. Feel how you fill the room with a beautiful, shiny sound.

Once you have found this beautiful, vibrating sound, turn these three notes into a little bird song

by adding ornaments and changing your articulation. Like this!

Last step of this exercise: if you are on your own, play a short improvisation.

If you are with colleagues, have a dialogue using very short "bird calls".

You send our a bird call and you wait for an answer.

A good sound on a small recorder, as described in the previous tip, may have various colours.

It may be connected or detached, playful or lyrical, but you never want it to appear heavy or forced.

To sound light as a feather on the smaller instruments, we give you three tips:

Number 1: produce a fast and thin stream of air as we have discussed in some of our previous episodes.

Articulate very precisely, with small movements of the tip of the tongue behind the front teeth.

Number 3: be aware that excessive tone-shaping is very exposed on these instruments.

They are very sensitive to pressure changes in the air stream.

There is a well-known analogy of a music ensemble with the four elements.

Earth is the bass, which is the fundament of everything,

On top of that we have water and fire, the middle lines that flow and take care of movement in the music,

and then, on top of that, we have the lightest of the four elements: the air. That is the top voice!

If you translate this analogy into ensemble sound,

the lower voices should sound fuller and act as a reference for the higher voices.

If the lower voices have a good sound and mixture, it will be much easier for the higher ones

to naturally find their sound on top of them and mix into the low and buzzing sounds of the basses.

Plus, it is much easier to tune like this!

The top line player should ideally feel that they can naturally "rest" on the sound of the lower voices.

This is also why, when we are doing tuning exercises, or when we want to build up a piece,

starting with only a few voices and then adding the rest, we usually do so from bottom to top, from Earth to Air.

Often, top line players feel responsible to "conduct" the ensemble,

giving entrances, showing the character of the piece, or indicating timing when it's necessary in the music.

This comes with a slight risk of "over-conducting". If you want to show every little moment and intention

the top line player may end up not feeling free enough.

Our suggestion would be to let go, divide the leadership of these interesting moments among the players

and do it more by listening and less by looking.

Since higher voices and instruments are naturally more "exposed", it's good to know tricks to make your sound lighter.

Any tricks to make your sound more delicate, without sounding too careful, will be very effective.

Spend some time checking out alternative fingerings and ways in which you may manipulate the sound,

especially in the higher register, to make it as mild as possible.

For example, if you like to have lighter higher notes, you can "roll" your index finger a bit down,

so that the hole is slightly opened from the top. The pitch will become a bit higher, so you can blow a bit softer

and the sound becomes thinner and more delicate.

Practise this trick with long notes at first, to feel comfortable with it and keep the pitch.

Then, when you are a master of this technique, you can even apply it to whole passages in the high register,

to "lighten" your sound!

And there are many other tricks waiting to be discovered!

The smaller the instrument and the faster the music that we play, the cooler we need to be.

Keeping "cool" means that we stay in control. It also means avoiding tension, physical and mental.

No panic, no rushing, just the necessary enjoyment.

When you need to play difficult passages on small recorders, a few bars before the tricky stuff is coming, RELAX.

Make your finger movements small but active. Be aware of the risk of "over-enthusiastic playing",

which can lead into too many accents and bad coordination within the ensemble.

Small recorders don't need as much air as the bigger ones. This has two consequences:

1. In most music you don't need to fill yourself up completely to make the end of the phrase.

Still, always keep the length of the phrase in sight and only take the air you need, in a relaxed way.

2. You can probably make much longer phrases on a small instrument than on a bigger one.

To make those long phrases you do need stamina. It's a long time without taking any breath!

For example, in Renaissance polyphony, you will be able to play a phrase of the same length that a singer can sing.

To do that, make sure you train your breathing support so that you produce the tension it takes to make it till the end,

but at the same time you still sound and feel relaxed, as you want the music to flow.

Small recorders are easy to balance on your lip and thumb.

This will give the other fingers the freedom to easily move and it will also improve your sound.

Hold your instrument high enough to experience this freedom!

Small recorders "speak" very quickly. They react immediately to your input.

Larger recorders are a little bit "slower", especially the ones with a crook,

since the air takes a long time to reach the instrument.

When we are playing the top voice, we need to be aware of the largest instrument in the ensemble.

How much time do they need to "think ahead" to be as fast as we are?

In that sense, it is good to have some empathy, and give some extra time when we are taking breath,

giving cues, so that we can all start together, spot on!

When you play the top voice on smaller instruments, you probably have more than one choice.

Try all the different options!

The difference in the mix between different recorders, even when they are from the same brand, can be shocking!

These are the smallest recorders we own.

We have the soprano in C, sopraninos in F, and we also have garkleins!

The garklein is one octave higher than the soprano, so, also tuned in C.

There was a recorder maker in the Netherlands, Frans Twaalfhoven,

who invented an even smaller size of recorder than the garklein, and which has still all the fingerholes

- there are some smaller pipes that are very high, but are not technically a "recorder".

This tiny recorder was called the "piccolino" and it's tuned in F, an octave above the sopranino.

So, it is exactly helf the size! Unfortunately, we don't have one of those,

but you can imagine the challenge of playing such a small instrument, with your fingers almost overlapping.

The fingerholes are displaced to the sides... Very exciting!

Funny enough, the son of Frans Twaalfhoven, Merlijn, who is a composer,

wrote a piece for us which is the highest we have ever played.

It is for 13 small recorders (sopranos, sopraninos and garkleins) and organ.

It was written for The Royal Wind Music.
