You're originally from Syria, right? How was life there, growing up?

In Syria? Just normal. We had normal lives.

We had a house, two shops, a car.

We lived in a cool neighbourhood. Yeah, it was normal.

When did it start changing? When did it become not normal?

In 2011, when the revolution started. People started talking and protesting.

My hometown, Salamiyah, was one of the first cities that started protesting.

What was the revolution about?

First of all they wanted better education, because the education is not that good.

They wanted better health care.

After some time, they started arresting people.

Then we got scared. We knew that my mum was participating in the revolution...

so she might get arrested. And she was. -So your mother got arrested?

Yes. After 15 days they released her after my dad started calling his relations.

After a month we received a letter...

that if she didn't leave Syria, the whole family would be killed.

She told us that we had to leave the next day and we couldn't tell anyone about it.

At all the checkpoints from my hometown to Lebanon...

if they asked us where we were going, we said we were going to my aunt in Egypt.

So I had to tell all my friends and everyone who asked that we were in Egypt.

After a couple of months, when we knew that we would never go back to Syria...

we told them: We're not coming back. We're in Lebanon and we're staying here.

What was Lebanon like?

My mother and father were not sure if we were able to survive.

So we could stay in Lebanon, and he would stay with us...

or he could go to Sweden and we would get family reunification.

But at that time we didn't know that it would take three of four years.

So the plan was: your dad would go to Sweden and would get you there.

Yes. But the family reunification case took four years...

so now my sister's residency has been rejected.

You can? -Yes, because I'm under 18.

Now she's over 18, so now it's a whole new case.

It's so weird that his father has been in Sweden for three years...

he's sitting here with us in Holland, and his mother and sister are still in Lebanon.

First of all, the water is all dirty. They don't have clean water.

And of course they have food, but not what they want.

and we couldn't help with a lot of things. We couldn't build better tents, for example.

We focussed on education, which is not only about learning, how to write and read.

The children in the camps have nothing to do with their time.

So through education, but also through learning by doing activities...

they also have fun. They do something with their time, they meet friends.

In the beginning the situation wasn't good.

We didn't have a lot of money, but we started building the school.

It was a tent, but a big tent, a good tent.

Did you see the kids change when they came to your school?

Yes, of course. They started trying to organise their lives by themselves.

They become stronger. They talk more. They talk about everything...

about things they didn't want to talk about before.

So it was almost some kind of safe place for the kids.

Do you have stories about one of the kids who's been through a tough time?

Yeah, there's this kid...

In Syria he lived in a city where ISIS came...

so he saw his friends get killed.

They slaughtered their friends in front of them.

They decapitated them? -Yes, and he watched it.

At first he always held his mother's or someone else's hand...

and he always did like this. He couldn't look at people.

So I gave him a camera to look through.

He started taking photos of stuff.

Then he started taking photos of specific people, because he didn't trust anyone.

We knew who he trusted, through his photos.

At first, we didn't know who he trusted, or even if he trusted us.

When he started taking photos of us, I knew that he trusted me.

So that was the strategy.

Do you think more people should do that? -Helping?

Yeah, the idea is not that people think that helping is them helping the people.

They should know that when they help people, when they help children...

they are the ones who are gaining. I know from my own experience...

when I help the kids, I'm the one who is gaining.

They are helping me. They talk and when they play...

How To Set Up Stealth 600 & Stealth 700 for PS4 - Duration: 12:57.

- Hi, everyone.

I'm Jason with Turtle Beach.

And in this video, I'm gonna show you how to set up and use

the new Stealth 600 and 700 Gaming Headsets

with your PlayStation 4 Pro and PlayStation 4.

First, let's open the Stealth 600 and 700 headsets.

On the stickers, you'll notice,

it says that we should download

and install the new Turtle Beach Audio Hub.

It's always a good idea to check

and make sure you have the latest firmware

so that your headset provides optimal performance.

Turtle Beach makes this really easy,

simply by downloading and installing

their Turtle Beach Audio Hum program.

Which is available for PCs running Windows 7 and higher,

and on a Mac running OS 10.12 or higher.

In addition to PC and Mac,

there's an app based version of the Turtle Beach Audio Hub

for compatible iOS and Android devices

that works with the Stealth 700 via Bluetooth.

But the reason I'm pointing this out now

is to let you know that you can't update

the Stealth 700's firmware from the app.

You have to use the PC or Mac version

to perform firmware updates.

Since we're on a PC, we'll click the Windows button.

Which will automatically start

downloading the program to your computer.

Once downloaded, find the file.

Probably in your downloads folder.

And double click to install.

Then click Run to start the installation.

Click Next, and follow all the on-screen prompts.

Once the Turtle Beach Audio Hub

program is installed, launch it.

When the screen pops up,

you'll be prompted to connect your headset.

Take the included USB cable

and connect the USB micro end of it, the smaller end,

to the jack on the bottom of your

Stealth 600 and 700's left ear cup.

The one with the mic.

Next, connect the standard USB end of the cable

to an available USB port on your PC

and also connect the USB transmitter.

Once you connect the USB cable,

the Audio Hub will automatically detect your headset

and will ask you if you want to

update your firmware to the latest version.

Click yes to begin the update.

Once the update process is done,

click okay to complete the firmware update.

And at this point, you can close

the Turtle Beach Audio Hub on your PC or Mac.

Okay.

Now that your headset has been updated

to the latest firmware and has a full battery,

let's get connect to your PS4 Pro or your PS4.

First, let's turn on your headset by pressing

and holding down the power button for a few seconds.

On the Stealth 600, you'll hear a tone inside the headset

indicating that the headset is on.

On the Stealth 700, you'll hear

a voice prompt inside the headset.

Also, make sure your PS4 console is powered on.

Using the included wireless USB transmitter,

go ahead and connect the transmitter

to an available USB port on your PS4 console.

If you have a Stealth 700

and are using it with an original PS4 or a newer PS4 Pro,

both of which have the optical audio jack,

you'll also need to connect the included

digital optical cable from the back of your PS4

into the port on the wireless USB transmitter.

If you're using a PS4 Slim,

then there's no need for the digital optical cable.

Once the wireless USB transmitter

is connected to the console,

go ahead and power on your headset.

Your headset should come pre-paired

with the transmitter out of the box.

And when paired correctly,

the little LED light will be lit solid and not blinking.

Next, we need to update some settings on your PS4.

For the Stealth 600, in your PS4 menu system,

click Settings,

then Devices,

then Audio Devices.

Set the Output to Headphones option to All Audio,

then set the Volume Control (Headphones)

to the maximum setting.

Finally, select Adjust Microphone Levels

and follow the on-screen instructions to calibrate your mic.

For the Stealth 700 being used with an original PS4

or a newer PS4 Pro,

both of which have the optical audio jack,

in your PS4 menu systems, click Settings,

then Sound and Screen,

then Audio Output Settings,

then Primary Output Port,

then Digital Out and select Dolby Digital 5.1ch.

Then back up in the menu to change the audio format.

Priority to Bitstream (Dolby).

Lastly, navigate in the menu back to Settings,

then Devices, then Audio Devices,

then select USB Headset (Turtle Beach Stealth 700)

for input and output device,

set Output to Headphones to Chat Audio,

Set Volume Control (Headphones) to the maximum setting,

and finally, select Adjust Microphone level

and follow the on-screen instructions to calibrate your mic.

For the Stealth 700 being used with a PS4 Slim

with no optical jack,

in your PS4 menu system, click Settings,

then devices,

then Audio Devices,

Select USB Device (Turtle Beach Stealth 700)

for input and output devices,

set the Output to Headphones option to All Audio,

then set the Volume Controls (Headphones)

to the maximum setting.

Finally, select the Adjust Microphone Levels

and follow the on screen instructions to calibrate your mic.

At this point, your Stealth 600 and stealth 700 Headsets

should be connected to your PS4.

So let's get them on your head and sized appropriately.

First, make sure you have the headset on the right way.

The microphone is on the left ear cup.

If you happen to find on the right ear cup,

you're wearing the headset backwards.

You can adjust the size and fit of the headset

by pulling down on each ear cup.

Also, for those of you with glasses,

the Stealth 600 and Stealth 700 both feature

Turtle Beach's Glasses Friendly Technology.

Where sections of the foam cushioning in the ear cups

are softer so they don't press as hard

on your glasses when you play.

Now I'm gonna walk you through

a couple of the additional features

and functionality, starting with the Stealth 600.

There are a handful of differences

between the Stealth 600 and Stealth 700 for PS4.

First, while they're definitely in the same family,

the frames are slightly different.

And the 600 has breathable fabric wrapped ear cushions,

while the 700 has synthetic leather.

For surround sound, the Stealth 700 uses

DTS Headphone:X 7.1 Surround Sound.

While the Stealth 600 uses Turtle Beach's own

Virtual Surround Sound processing.

Additionally, the Stealth 600 doesn't include

active noise cancellation

and Bluetooth connectivity like the 700.

Lastly, Stealth 700's Bluetooth capability

allows it to connect to the app version

of the Turtle Beach Audio Hub,

where you can customize a variety

of Stealth 700's specific settings.

Let's focus on the Stealth 600 settings first,

and then we'll take a look at the Stealth 700.

All the controls for the Stealth 600

are located on the left ear cup.

Again, the one with the mic.

Speaking of the microphone, let's start there.

This is a new flip up version

of Turtle Beach's High-Sensitivity Mic.

There are three positions.

First, the mic is on when it is all the way down.

If you wanna mute the mic,

you simply rotate it up to the first stop,

and if you don't wanna use the mic at all,

you put it all the way back one last time.

Next are the features controlled by the Stealth 600's

Power and Mode buttons.

The Power button has a secondary function

beyond turning the Stealth 600 on and off.

When the headset is on,

a quick press of the Power button will toggle

Turtle Beach's exclusive Super Human Hearing audio setting.

Which provides a competitive advantage

that can help you win more.

The Mode button also has a dual functionality.

Repeatedly pressing the mode button

lets you cycle through the Stealth 600's audio presets.

Which include Signature Sound, Bass Boost,

Bass and Treble Boost, and Vocal Boost.

Pressing and holding the Stealth 600's mode button

will cycle on and off Turtle Beach's

Virtual Surround Sound setting.

On the back of the ear cup,

the top dial controls your master volume.

Meaning game and chat audio together.

While the bottom dial controls your mic monitoring volume.

Which is how loud your own voice sounds inside the headset.

Which helps you avoid shouting at other players.

That's it for the Stealth 600's specific features.

With a fully charged battery

you should be able to get up to 15 hours of powerful

and immersive surround sound game audio,

crystal clear chat, and unmatched glasses friendly comfort.

Now let's jump into the Stealth 700's specific features.

The Stealth 700 is the big brother

or big sister to the Stealth 600,

offering additional premium features

on top of what the Stealth 600 does.

As discussed earlier, the Stealth 700 adds

leather wrapped ear cushions, active noise cancellation,

Bluetooth connectivity with app based settings,

and a selection of additional features

that can be controlled via the new

Turtle Beach Audio Bub app.

Let's start with the Stealth 700's on-board controls,

and then we'll get into the app based controls.

Just like the Stealth 600,

the Stealth 700 shares the same great flip of version

of Turtle Beach's High Sensitivity Microphone.

Then there's the Super Human Hearing button.

Which can activate Turtle Beach's exclusive audio setting,

which provides a competitive advantage to help you win more.

Lastly is the Bluetooth button,

which allows you to pair the Stealth 700

with other Bluetooth enabled devices

like your mobile phone or tablet.

Where you can adjust other settings

via the Turtle Beach Audio Hub app.

On the back of the ear cup there are two dials

that control different functions,

depending on which PS4 console you have.

If you're using your Stealth 700 headset

with an original PS4 or newer PS4 Pro,

both of which have the optical jack,

then with the optical cable

connected to the USB transmitter,

the upper dial will control game volume,

and the lower dial will control chat volume.

If you're using a PS4 slim with no optical cable,

then the upper dial will control master volume,

both game and chat volume at the same time,

and the lower dial will control

your mic monitoring volume level.

Also on the bottom of the ear cup

there's a standard 3.5mm jack to use with your mobile phone.

However, you'll need to provide your own cable.

Now let's look at the Stealth 700's app based controls.

Which means we need to pair our headset

with a compatible mobile phone or tablet,

and then launch the new Turtle Beach Audio Hub app.

For this demo, we're going to use an Apple iPad Pro.

To pair the headset with your device over Bluetooth,

press and hold down the Bluetooth button

until you hear the Bluetooth pairing voice prompt.

Then find and pair the headset in the Bluetooth settings

of your mobile phone or tablet.

Once connected, there are a variety of different controls

offered by the Bluetooth button on the headset,

depending on if you're listening to music, or taking a call.

With your headset connected to your mobile phone or tablet,

launch the Turtle Beach Audio Hub app.

From the app, there are a variety of settings

you can toggle on or off, depending on your preference.

These include Super Human Hearing,

Dynamic Chat Boost, and active Noise Cancellation.

And you can also select from four audio presents,

including Signature Sound, Bass Boost,

Bass and Treble Boost, and Vocal Boost.

You'll also be able to adjust your mic monitoring level.

Which means you can adjust the volume level

for how loud you hear your own voice inside the headset.

Which helps you to avoid shouting at other players.

If you click the menu drop down,

you'll be able to personalize a few additional settings,

like the volume of the voice

and tone prompts inside the headset.

As well as check what version

of firmware you are using and more.

With a fully charged battery,

if you're using the Active Noise Cancellation

and Bluetooth features frequently,

you should be able to get up to 10 hours

of powerful and immersive surround sound game audio,

You know that I care for the plant based healthy food

so what do I eat in my day?!!

Before talking about food

Let me tell you about tidying up the bed

In a matter of fact all my life

I didn't like to tidy up my bed at all

my philosophy in this was that

I will go back and sleep on it at night so there is not need to make it

but all this changed completely

but I will tell you after talking a bit about breakfast

usually breakfast is

specially in winter

Ginger with almond milk drink

I made this recipe before on the channel

with it I make for example...this is bread I made by myself

I make sure to make my own bread, some times I buy ready made but

this bread I made

it has corn flour and integral flour

I will add to it some tofu

This is tofu with herbs and olives

and some salad from my garden

now it is winter so the garden

moved to the closed balcony

The cherry tomatoes is still

here

While waiting for the water to boil

I try to clean up the kitchen

as it is part of the living room

Damir usually wake up before me

As he is a feminist which means

he defends women rights

so he would have already emptied the dish washer

so if I found anything that needs to do to the

dishwasher I put it in

Another option is to drink herbal tea

I mostly buy from the organic shops

a mix of herbs each mix is for something

one for the memory or one for digestion

one for warming

I like this kind because the packets has quotes

so every morning I can see

what is there for me

I can also have smoothie for breakfast

We go back to the bed story, I didn't

make the bed at all until we moved to our apartment

and I started to make the room decor from A to Z

there became love between me and the room

so I became so keen every day on making the bed

I found that this makes me think in a

more organized way

just seeing the bed made makes me feel that my day started

Of course I also use essential oils and make the room smells nice

this is the change that happened to me

with making the bed

I wonder if there is something you didn't do and

you started doing it recently ?

Now for the recipes I eat in a day

one day I can eat of course salad

and cauliflower

I use a recipe for cauliflower which I shared before on the channel

I will leave a link for it

I make it with this sauce which is

tahini, miso paste

and garlic powder

It tastes very beautifully that I can finish the whole tray

Maybe cauliflower is not so popular

by this recipe it is amazing

Another day I can make pasta with

tomato sauce with some salad and

Gomashio and flax seeds

grounded

with tofu

in the middle we can have more herbal tea

this herbal tea is with

cinnamon, ginger, vanilla and black pepper

A third day I can make rice

of course I prefer integral rice "Brown"

but today I have a reason as I got a gift

saffron, it is a very expensive spice

more expensive than gold

it's price is more expensive than the price of gold

because it needs lots of workers

today was the first day I use saffron

so I thought of using with it the white rice

I boil water and add it to it so it shows

this beautiful yellow color

then I add it to the rice

I will eat it with some okra

and veggies kofta

a fourth day I can get vegetables form

the organic market

I wash it and prepare it

spinach

beetroots leaves

They eat it here

This is something called Plitva

local vegetable, Croatian

Everyone should eat from the local vegetable in his country

cucumber is not local and not organic

so I peel it

This is an invention if someone is lazy

to use the cutting board and want to cut something quickly

It is a cutting board and a knife at the same time

I will leave a link for it in the description box

if I found it online

I always like to clean the kitchen on the spot

so it doesn't turn into a disaster after cooking

and I always care for the salad

I will fry the vegetables with some garlic

and spices

and also bumpkin soup because this is the season

I made it before on the channel

A fifth day I can eat pasta

with tomato sauce

and salad with sprouts

I made sprouts before on the channel

and this is sweet potato with a piece of seitan and a piece of tofu

This is lunch for the day

A sixth day I can get kale

it is a dark green leafy vegetable

which means it has calcium and iron

I wash it and prepare it

so it is ready for frying

and it tastes amazing

with some seitan and some rice

A 7th day

I can have mushrooms sauce with zucchini

and some full grain pasta

This is mostly what I eat in a day

sometimes

I don't eat healthy but I try to eat healthy

saying that Groot and how will be smashing it together soon which is very

interested and now we know this was for a vanity photo shoot where literally

everyone inside infinity war and Avengers 4 would be in it obviously they

can't reveal the title Avengers 4 because apparently that is going to ruin

stroke be a spoiler for the movie which is interesting this included people like

Nick Fury spider-man Captain America Thor nebula star-lord

happy Hogan war machine Groot Drax vision Scarlet Witch Hawkeye Falcon

Doctor Strange Black Widow Valkyrie Gamora Winter Soldier Wong wasp Tony

thought is those eyes back and also his hammers back so if you remember in the

post credit scene that gigantic ship turned up

Loki stole the vessel and they were talking about whether they should take

him back to earth after us guard exploded and then from the d23 footage

we can divulge that Thor try to take on Thanos lost his eyes got gouged out from

what we can see of what being told and he ends up smashing into the garden

of the galaxy ship which is very interesting and obviously Loki ran off

with that what's really interesting about these images that is he's got an

interesting scar above his eye which does infer that maybe he did lose his

eye but if he lost his eye how would he actually get his eye back

I've got no ideas maybe they use one of the Infinity stones maybe Thanos gives

it back to him in order to maybe retrieve one of the actual stones

interesting as Marvel movies have been getting stale again the generic Iron Man

the generic Captain America just generic movies basically so it's gonna be quite

interested in saying that as they appear to be going for more the cosmic side we

know we're getting another garden galaxy movie but we don't know what's gonna

happen with the cosmic side post that so it's gonna be very interesting anyway

How To Keep Your Floor Mats in Place - Duration: 1:36.

Don't you just hate it when you open the door to your vehicle and see this?

Yes, on both sides? I usually just reach in and correct

the problem, knowing it will come back to

haunt me again later. Thankfully there's a fix for this from a company called EagleKlaw.

This innovative solution uses a cap, washer, and anchor to secure down your mats.

It comes in three different colors, too. Now this is the secret to the claw. These mini-grappling hooks

for your carpet. They're pretty sharp and easy to install.

Start by grabbing a hammer to determine the best place to install the claws.

Your hammer should bounce where it's safe, and make a thunk like this where it's not.

Figure out where it's safe for both anchors.

To use the provided hole cutter, measure approximately two inches in from both sides.

Then use either a hammer and wood block, or twist the cutter by hand to cut the hole.

Insert the cap on top, then slide the washer onto the bottom. If the rubber nibs of your mat

get in the way, mow 'em down like I did. Then screw the anchor onto the cap.

Make sure it's fairly tight, because the next step is to hammer them onto your carpet.

After positioning your mat into place, strike it as vertically as possible.

You can also use the heel of your shoe, however I didn't want to mess around,

so I just used my trusty Craftsman claw hammer.

Now my first test was to remove the cap with a coin, and give it a strong tug with my fingers.

Well that worked just fine! Now my second test was to hop in and push it around with my shoes.
