Waching daily Jan 22 2018

Hi guys and welcome to everydayidraw.

Today I wanted to share five things, you

did not know about me. And as you guys

probably know, I'm not the person, who

shares a lot of their personal life.

Simply because...

I have none. =D

I really want this channel

to be more about drawing

and inspiration, and stuff like that. And

since I work from home, I don't really

have a life. I mean, seriously. I might be

home for a whole week and don't really

go out that much. It's really hard to

share anything non-existent with you. But

today I wanted to talk about 5 things.

I did not really have to think that hard,

because this is just the thing, that are

on my mind recently, and if you remember

from the last video, I was saying, that

everything, that I would get from my

lovely patrons in December, in January,

I will send to an orphanage. And this is a

very specific one. I don't think, I've shared

this on this channel. But I do have an

adopted younger brother. He's with us for

two years now. I will give the donations

from Patreon, and I probably will add

something on top. I will give it to the

orphanage house, that he came from. And it

was a really hard experience to go there.

We had to actually go there for two

months, once we knew that we are adopting

him into our family. And to wait for the

whole paperwork to get through, we would

go there like every day. And it looks

like a normal kindergarten. And they only

allow you to visit, when kids are outside

playing. So this is like maybe one hour

per day. Every group in this kindergarten

has a very specific part in the yard,

where they are allowed to play. So they

are not allowed to leave this area. And

when you come there, all of those kids,

they know, that you might probably be

their parent. And they just follow you

with their gaze everywhere you go. It's

extremely heartbreaking to be there,

when you know, that when you talk to them

and when you play with them, you

don't really make anything easier.

Because you will not be there in, like a

couple of months. And knowing, that my

brother would have to stay there, because

I would have to leave in an hour, and he

would be there for another whole day.

It was just, like, I really felt a lot of

this weird feelings, that did not really

got easier. And this is why I know, that

I cannot really do much. And I extremely

appreciate my parents for doing this thing.

They are crazy and amazing. And extremely

brave. And I just wanted to give as much

help, as I can. Because it's better, than

nothing. So this is why I'm giving my

donations to the orphanage house. And

I mean, there are a lot of good causes, that

you can support. Like chronicle illness

patients or anything like that. But for

me, since I was there, and I had a very

personal contact with this reality. This

is why I'm supporting this one. But

I really want to encourage you guys this

year, try to give at least something,

maybe to the Goodwill, or any good charity

of your choice. I mean, we can all

complain about world being not a good

enough place, but I really want to

encourage you to do something, to make it

a better living for all of us.

Let's get to the next one.

If you guys met me in

the real life, and a lot of you did, you

know, I don't eat meat. I don't really put

any label on that, so I'm not calling

myself a vegan or vegetarian or anything

like that. I wanted to try and maybe not

eat meat for some time, and see how my

body would react. And from that point it

kind of stick. I do like animals,

excluding spiders of a very specific

size, when they are not cute anymore,

because they are big enough, but they're

not so big, that you can kind of mistake

them for something cute, like a mice, but

those spiders, that are in between, like

No.

I'm not really a big fan of saying, like,

"I will never do something". Like, "I will

never drink alcohol", or "I will never eat

meat", or "I will draw every single day",

because I feel, like, it was so much

pressure on you. So I find, that what

helps me a lot, is to say, like, I'm trying

this now. So I'll see, how it goes. So, if

in the future I will feel, like I really

crave meat, like a steak, or, I don't know,

whatever... I would probably consider

eating it. I will not be restricting

myself, but for now I feel, that my body

goes better without meat. And my skin

gets clearer. So I'm just sticking to

that routine. There is one exception though.

(vain attempts to say the name)

You know, this Vietnamese soup.

I'm a huge fan of Vietnamese cuisine.

I mean, like, guys, let's just take

this moment and praise Vietnamese cuisine,

because this is just...

Sadly, not any place

I go, they serve this soup without meat. Even if

In a lot of places, If you ask, they would

switch your chicken or beef to tofu. But

the stock would still be meaty. If I'm

craving for, and this happens to me

with scary frequency, like, a lot, I would

definitely go and eat a bowl of meaty soup.

Because, soup is just so good.

I think about death a lot.

Before you freak out,

let me just explain myself.

I was reading Mark Mansons's book.

It's called "Subtle art of not giving a fuck".

It had a lot of amazing ideas. But one,

that stuck with me the most, was that

death... Inevitability of death - Is the only

certainty, we have in life.

Everything else, that we have, is our

perception. Is this good or bad?

Do I like this person, or not? Do I really want

to draw or not? This is just, like, my thoughts.

And I cannot really be sure all of the

time, but what I can be sure off, is that

everybody will die, including me. They say,

this a lot. "Live every day, like

it's your last one",

and stuff like that. But you never

really think about it. If you try to

think about it, and this year I actually

tried a lot. Always it scares the sh*t

out of you. But then it gives so much joy

to life. Like, to everything, that you have

to face. For instance, the other day I had

my toilet clogged. It was a nasty thing.

And I was home alone. And to my horror,

I did not have this thing, that you used to

clean clogged toilet... How do you call this?

Let me google that.

"Plunger", or "force cup".

Let's call it force cup. So I did not

have a force cup, because last time we

moved, our old one was really scary, and

not cute looking. So I threw it away,

thinking, like, "oh I'll buy a new one"... and

I never did. So force cup was out of my

reach. I decided, I would just put

rubber gloves and there is no better way

to do it, but just dig deep into the

toilet. And I was home alone. But then

I figured, that during... The last time, I was

washing my floors, the last rubber gloves,

that I had, were punctured with

holes. So, I threw them away, thinking, like,

"I will buy a new pair", and I never

did. So, I had to do something with this

clogged toilet. And there was no better

way, like, no other way, but to really dig

with my bare hand and dig deep and clean

this clog. And...

...it was disgusting, but I did it.

Because it was Christmas time.

In Europe, if something happens

during Christmas,

you are alone to face it. No supermarkets

are working. And there is a very

low chance, that you will be able to call

to some professional and get a help

really quickly. After I did that, I was

like,... I scrubbed my hand with,.. with every

might I had. I would, even, like, after 2 or

3 days, I would still, like, sniff it a

little bit. But you know what? After

I thought, that I would die at some point...

This thought quickly transformed this

clogged toilet experience into something,

I was glad to have. Because I was alive.

And I was

enjoying life at its fullest.

yeah...

This thought actually helped me. And I'm still

working on that. But it helps me a lot to

get rid of anger and negative emotions.

Because I really want to help people.

And I really want everybody to feel better.

I have a limited amount of time. So why

would I want to spend it on making

myself feel, like I'm better, than

everybody else.

I would rather help people. And I would

rather make people feel better, because

they also have a limited time on this

planet. It's so much more fun to live it

in a very positive way, rather then

trying to explain, that somebody on the

Internet is wrong. This helps me a lot.

When, for instance, I face negativity on

the internet or, if somebody in real life

tries to be an a**hole, I feel like, I'm

invincible. Because I'm thinking, like,

Nooooooo!...

My camera died.

Okay, we are back after a

short break, after my camera died.

I totally forgot, where did I end the

previous section. So I will gradually

move to the point number 4.

I am gradually trying to reduce the number of

litter, that I produce. This is why this

year I've decided to first of all, get

rid of the one time use plastic bottles,

that we buy all of the time. So I bought

myself a bottle with the charcoal,...

charcoil filter by BUproducts.

Links will be listed down below.

I extremely love this one, because it

looks amazing. And I carry it around.

And sometimes I would remove the filter and

just use it as a bottle for my juice or

anything else. And also I started to use

my thermos more. This is actually the

termos, that my friends gave me.

It's a Japanese one. It is really tiny, it's

only like 250 ml. I enjoy

drinking tea or coffee, when, for instance,

I'm walking, talking. In the morning

I would just pour some coffee and enjoy it

while looking at this city,

and enjoying the morning. And then

I would also want to start to carry it

around more. When I'm in the city, for

instance, if I'm going for a coffee,

i would not use this one time paper cup with the

plastic... lit (cap). But rather pour it into

my thermos. The second thing, that I use

is menstrual cup. If you are a girl and

you hate all of those menstrual products,

as I did. I absolutely despise all of

them, because I just feel, that they're so

not convenient. And also I am pretty

scared by the chances of getting toxic

shock. I will leave a link to an

interview with an amazing extremely

brave girl, who did go through a toxic

shock herself. And she lost her leg.

And usually those kind of things, like, those

kind of risks... You don't really get

enough information about them, especially,

when you're young and you're just

starting to use this product. So

I started to use menstrual cup. And I just...

Guys (girls), I praised by it. It's so, so good.

It's so convenient, it's extremely clean,

extremely easy to use. And it's super

safe. So, Menstrual Cups y'all ! =D

The final thing, is that

I started to work on my

wardrobe. And I'm not a fashion person.

But I really like my outfit to look neat

and putted together. So I was really

inspired by the idea of capsule wardrobe.

And now I watched videos by danish girl.

Her name is Signe. And I will leave

links to her channel somewhere here in

the carts. So you can check her out. She

talks a lot about capsule wardrobe,

building one, finding your own style,

sticking to your style, working with a

minimal amount of accessories. And since

I've started to budget myself, I don't

feel need anymore for spending money to buy fast

fashion things from Zara and H&M.

I would rather buy one pair of extremely

expensive... Like, well, not extremely.

One pair of expensive

designer jeans, that will last me for

five years. And they would fit me

perfectly. Rather than buying fast

fashion jeans. Biggest problem, that

I have, is that they fit my butt. And

everything is perfectly... legs, everything

is OK.

But the length is just... Where did they

see girls with such long legs. I mean, if

they do exist, I extremely envy them.

I'm a short legged person. I think... I don't

know. If I would buy jeans from fast

fashion brands, they would have

extra 20 centimeters, dragging behind me...

Last thing, is that I really enjoy

working from home and, as you can see,

in most of my videos, like, I do have a

costume of normal person on the top. So

I would wear a t-shirts, or preferably clean

t-shirt for you. But on the bottom

I would usually wear my yoga pants, or

pajama pants. Because this is the perks

of working as a freelancer. I am this

kind of person, that is extremely

organized, when staying at home. So

I don't really struggle with organizing my

working day. I used to think of myself, as

a very bad company worker. Because I'm

just so much better working from the

quiet space of my home. This would makes

me a good freelancer, I guess. Or at least

I hope so. I hope you learned something

new and exciting, or maybe not, from this

video. As always, I want to thank my

patrons for allowing me to be here and

for sponsoring good cause

this year. If you liked this video, please

give it a thumbs up. And if you want to

share one thing, that I did not know

about you, please do so in the comments below.

Please, subscribe to my channel and

follow me on social media. All the links

will be listed, as per usual, in the

description box below. And I will see you

guys next time.

Bye!

Nora Vasconcellos, The Story Behind The Skate Style Icon - Duration: 3:12.

He's like, "So, so what do you do?" I'm a skateboarder.

Hey everybody my name is Eli Morgan Gesner and I'm the style editor here at UPROXX and today I'm

doing an interview with Giovanni Reda who just made a documentary about the

legendary Nora Vasconcellos

and we're gonna be talking to them about Giovanni's new documentary he's done about this legendary little tank of a woman.

you're kind of in the in the cut right you live in the country in

Massachusetts you get into skating like when I was starting out around that time

my dad would take me to Skaters Edge which was this indoor like gritty in

like an old mill building and Taunton but I would go there and I would go on

Tuesdays because it was girls skate free and I would show up there and I was

pretty intimidated and I would just go skate the bowl myself and then I was

yeah and then... Because your bowl skills are phenomenal. Oh thank you but that's I think why skate transition.

I called her I was like "Hey so this is what we're doing..."

She was like, "Okay let's do it."

I was like, I don't know why you guys want to do this and this is one of those things I wouldn't have done it

with anybody else.

You would only do it with Reda?

Pretty much yeah especially based on like what he's done in the past

The Brian doc that was kind of like a big

turning point for the skateboard industry and then for Brian himself.

100%, it was seminal. I don't mean this as a diss towards any other female skaters

there's always a certain like feminine body mechanic. Literally the first

time I saw clips of you I was s just like "Oh look at this dude with the long hair."

Which I thought...

People always tag me, well, I always I've seen

photos of guys it's like, is that me?

It's kind of hard to translate it to people

that don't skate like how important style is and especially Nora has this like

unbelievably amazing style like what we're talking about.

There was this weird thing that sort of happened in the early 2000's where I would talk to kids who

skate for me and they would be really excited on someone's style are you

talking about his fashion style? And they were like yeah I was like that's not what skate style.

Every other day I get hit up right now that's like where

do you get your pants specifically the purple ones. Where do you get your pants?

Where do you get your pants Nora?

I make them. Well I don't sew them

but they're white Dickies that I just dye.

Nora is the epitome of what a skateboarder is.

You know every skateboarder that I've looked up to from

when I was a kid and the ones that are like the most influential yeah I'm just

saying like Nora has that like the style she has the personality she has the

tricks she's an artist. One of the things that I found shocking in red is doc

is your slams I love that sort of thing. There's

definitely more there's a way more you just need to be totally comfortable with

the fact that you're going to get hurt.

Yeah well in the film she says. when it

came to skateboarding she's like yeah bleed for this yeah that's kind of like...

Oh, I'm Giovanni Reda and you're watching UPROXX.

Youtube demonetization 2018 -the naked truth - Duration: 5:45.

So you think youtube is rewarding « all » of their creators…… well think twice.

As of last week Youtube has changed the eligibility requirement for monetization.

And that's what we will be talking about in this video.

Helloooo there, and welcome BACK to my channel ! It's good to see you and for those who

don't know me : enchanté my name is Celine, I'm a TV journalist and a fan of new technologies

so if you are new here, if you want to see more reviews, tutorials, vlogs, consider subscribing.

YouTube is tightening the rules around its partner program and raising the requirements

that a channel/creator must meet in order to monetize videos.

Five years ago, YouTube opened their partner program to everyone.

That sounds easy to me!

This was a really big deal: it meant anyone could sign up for the service, start uploading

videos, and immediately begin making money.

Show me the money !

By doing this YouTube grew into the web's biggest video platform, but it has also led

to some problems :

People were creating accounts that uploaded content owned by other people, sometimes big

record labels or movie studios, sometimes other popular YouTube creators.

In an effort to combat these bad actors, YouTube has announced a change to its partner program

in 2017.

That's when I have started my channel.

So Creators like me weren't able to turn on monetization until they hit 10,000 lifetime

views on their channel.

YouTube believed that this threshold will give them a chance to gather enough information

on a channel to know if it's legit.

And it won't be too high as to discourage new independent creators from signing up for

the service.

10.000 views is a lot for a young creator but with time, work and dedication, you get

there sooner or later.

BUT NOW the new rule makes it even harder !

WHAAAAT?

Effective immediately, to apply for monetization (and have ads attached to your videos), creators

must have tallied 4,000 hours of overall watch time on their channel within the past 12 months

and have at least 1,000 subscribers.

Ok let's analyze this last info : 4.000 hours for someone who is starting its channel

is a significant number , it's 240.000 minutes watch

! Me for example , I have an average of 6000 minutes of view so far.

So what happens?

Why do they change the rules.

YouTube's announcement comes just a couple of weeks after influencer Logan Paul uploaded

a video that featured the body of a man who appeared to have recently committed suicide.

This video received millions of views before it was removed.

So I guess all of the advertisers who are working with Youtube were very angry that

their brand are related to this young man's behavior.

If you don't know him, Logan Paul is a 22 years old American who has more than 15 million subscribers…most

of them…teenagers.

For some people, YouTube is basically punishing smaller creators that aren't making crazy…

videos like Logan Paul.

But if you get a closer look you can see that small creators don't make a lot of money…

4-7-10 dollars every 2 to 5 months at best !

So for a small youtuber like me , I guess I'll reach the 4.000 hours when I'll be...

This whole changing the rules is being implemented because they are trying to make sure that

money is not going to people who don't deserve it : terrorists, what they called bad actors

Youtube has decided to stop paying small channels that can't barely aim their 100 dollars

for a check.

To get a check from youtube you have to hit a threshold of a 100 dollars.

Basically , It means, that youtube is taking away the opportunity

Don't take it too personally

to make money for channels

who don't even get a check to begin with.

But I agree, young creators shouldn't be doing videos for the only purpose to gain

money…but at some point, we'll need the money . Because making videos takes time and

dedication.

And when we are making videos, we aren't working for a proper salary elsewhere.

If you are a young creator or want to be one, here is my message to you :

Have fun, learn, create, and share your videos with everyone.

Show your uniqueness and Do your best, money can be an objective but shouldn't be your

main concern.

And in the long run, you'll be rewarded.

Voilà,I really enjoyed chatting with you. I hope you did too.

If you want to help me grow my channel please click on the thumbs up button and share my video.

leave a comment

and subscribed to my channel !

if you did already subscribed you are the BEST

Merci beaucoup

See you next Monday ! Ciao ciao

The Last Travel of 2017: Maastricht Day 2 | andthenIfellinlove - Duration: 14:55.

Hello! We just ate breakfast, downstairs, because this is a Bed & Breakfast.

So... Yes, it was deliciously. I wanted to film at first, but there were other

people, of course, and I found it a bit weird to

film, but it was deliciously. There was a lot. They had

yogurt with fruit, and delicious bread. - Lovely getaway. - And the made eggs as well. - Yes.

Yours looked delicious, dude. - Yes, delicious for sure. - With bacon.

So that was delicious, and now I'm gonna do my makeup, and then we're gonna walk. - Yes, to the Christmas market. - Yes, to the Christmas market.

OK, we're walking to the center, and we'll take a look at the Christmas market.

And afterwards... Yeah, we'll see actually. We might go shopping. Are we going to do something else? - Yes. - Yes? What? - to see the Christmas market.

Yes, I'd said that. - Or... - Buy a gift. - Buy a gift, yes. Buy a gift.

Yes. - Yes. - We'll see. Maybe shopping or something? - That's possible. - Yes.

We'll see. - Yes, we'll see. - This, at least, is so cute.

Look at this. Yes, yes, yes. Very cute. And... Walking feels good. - Yes. - Don't you think?

Yes. - Walking feels good. - Yes, it feels good. - Yes.

Last night, by the way, we went back to our B&B with a taxi.

And it was a total of six euros, so that's cheap. The last part we walked, but it was taken care of well.

Otherwise we had to walk for half an hour, and now we hadn't.

Ha ha ha ha!

That is how running looks when you've got sore muscles. Hide!

Ha ha! $%$*! He sees me already. I heard him laugh loudly all of a sudden. I wasn't fast enough.

Ha ha ha ha! - He's nuts. That guy is nuts. You're crazy.

I feel good. - Yes! - Energy. - OK, now we're going to run three rounds.

OK, GO! - Yes.

Ha ha, he does it as well.

One! - Get out of the way!

Get out of the way! - Two! Ha ha!

Ha ha ha! - Get out of the way!

Two! - Yes, I won! - No, you didn't. Three rounds!

Wow! OK, we're both nuts. Now it's hot, dude!

We're back at the wall area where we walked passed yesterday. Wow, this is muddy. Oh, gross. And something's going on there.

This is so cool... Oh! I just spoke English... Oh, forgot. - Hey!

Oh, this is so fun. There are many birds.

We're going up the wall now.

This is so cool. - Beautiful!

Really, really cool. Really cool. - Beautiful! - Yes.

This is so beautiful.

We found out that Maastricht is beautiful in every aspect. So I can continue filming, but everything is beautiful. - Yes, very beautiful. Gorgeous. Look!

Ha ha! - Whop, whop, whop, whop. - Oh! That's the university of Maastricht. Beautiful, dude.

I'm going to use a word that is very surprising. What I see now is... Fill it in.. Beautiful! Ha ha. Crazy.

Oh wow! Geez.

Oh, the Christmas market! - Such a coincidence to see, Phylicia. - Yes!

We're just walking around a little. Geez. How beautiful!

Yes. - I'm standing in the middle of the road. Hey, let's not stand in the middle of the road.

What? - We're standing on the road.

Now we've arrived at the Christmas market: a Christmas market slash fair kind of thing.

Tooz and I are going ice skating now.

I'm a wuss.. I can't do it well anymore... Tooz can.

Well... Come on. Oh my God. I'm not going to vlog now.

Ice skating was very fun. Really fun. And now we're walking through a very busy Christmas market, because we're going in here.

Yeah... Nevermind. It's crazy busy there too. Busy everywhere! It's nuts.

I just said we're going in there, but we're not. - No. - Oh!

The lady of our Bed & Breakfast told us that there's a church in Maastricht...

... that has turned into a library slash book store. I believe it's a book store, not a library.

Ha ha, you're nuts. - What are you laughing? It's fun, isn't it?

Look!

I mean: How often have you seen a church that has turned into a book store? Why are you laughing?

Crazy.

Phylicia is nuts. - No, I'm not.

We're at the Bazar, and we ordered food... again.

This is the place we're at. We both got a mint tea. Tooz has eggs with ham and cheese.

And I've got a cheese croquet with a salad.

Cafe the Belsj: that's where we ate. It was delicious. And now we're walking back to our Bed & Breakfast.

Tag! Playing tag. Oh no! - Ha ha! - Ha ha ha!

%$^&!

We're now at our Bed & Breakfast, and we have a bath that we're filling up with hot water, or warm water.

Because we're takinga bath. We went to Lush today, and I've got a Soft Coeur...

Oh, huh? They put the wrong label on. Let's see... Yes.

Excuse me. Lush apparently put on the wrong label. I have a massage bar with chocolate, and chi butter, and there were other ingredients in it, but I forgot. But they put that in here.

I will try to open it, but that's hard with one hand. This is a little heart that you put on you, and it smells deliciously. Really... Oh, this is one of my favorite scents. Also how it feels.

Delicious! Super cute. Really, the smell... Oh, so delicious. So that is the massage bar we have.

And... Then we've got a bubble bar. And... Oh man, this isn't well. Let's see... Then we've got lavender, tonka, more oil...

It simply smells so good, and it looks cute as well. I'm going to show you if I can.

Oh, it smells so good. Oh my gosh. I am so excited. Ouch. I bumped my knee against that little edge.

Yes, so... - *sneeze* - Bless you. We're filling this up.

And tonight we'll have a relaxing night which is nice, because we've been quite busy last night and today, and we've done a lot of fun stuff, and seen a lot. So...

What?

He's nuts, that guy. But, at least, we're going to have a very peaceful night, and I'm excited.

Oh, Are you excited for tonight? Taking it easy? - Yes, it's great taking it easy.

We have done a lot today and yesterday. - True. - Yesterday, we went to Maastricht, and today as well. - Correct.

OK, yes. And now we wait until the bath fills up.

Eat deliciously. - Thank you. You as well: eat deliciously.

Wow, OK. I'm hungry... again. I ate a lot, but it'll be delicious. - Yes. - Yum! Yours as well.

We just ate lovely food. - Delicious pizza! I'm full now. - Yes, we indeed ordered pizza.

It was very delicious. - Yummy! - And they were fast. They said that they needed 20 minutes to cook the food.

Super. - Not OK how fast they were. It was deliciously. You had the one with carpaccio. - Yes, carpaccio with pine nuts.

Yes. I had pine nuts as well, and ricotta cheese.

So very delicious... And the woman and man of our Bed & Breakfast are so sweet. It's crazy! They made the table and even asked if we wanted wine.

Very sweet. - Yes. - Really sweet. I'd recommend this to anyone.

It's really rare, but Tooz just said before I started filming that the

Maastricht adventure is almost over which is upsetting, but we had a lot of

fun, and tonight we'll be taking it slow which is kind of nice as well. And we'll be watching darts on TV tonight.

And soon we'll drink some tea. And... Yes, clean up our mess.

Pack our bags and stuff. And tomorrow morning we'll first eat breakfast, and then we head to Hoorn since tomorrow it's New Year's Eve.

I did that wrong. New Year's Eve. I can't believe it's almost 2018. It's crazy. Really crazy.

It went so fast... This year flew be, but oh well... Now let's relax.
