How to Make a Simple Khichdi - A Pressure Cooker Recipe! - Duration: 5:16.

Hi and welcome to my video! This week we are making some comfort food. There's a

version of this dish in almost every region of India. It's very easily

digestible and uses very simple ingredients that you might already have

in your pantry. If you haven't guessed already I am sharing a recipe for Khichdi.

Khichdi is best described as a salty porridge made from rice and lentils.

Sometimes it is made from other things like bajra or sabudana but for this

version I am sticking to short grain white rice and masoor dal, because they

both cook up really quickly and easily. Here's a bit of trivia for you: the

British dish known as kedgeree actually originated from Khichdi and if

you're a fan of Downton Abbey then you know that this is the first dish

mentioned by Mrs. Patmore way back in season 1 episode 1. Now, before we get

started please show my channel some love and give this video a thumbs up and hit

the subscribe button while you're at it because I post recipes every single

Monday. Now once you have all your ingredients lined up, go ahead and heat

up some ghee or oil in your pressure cooker on high heat then add the whole

cumin seeds to the hot oil. Or you can just add them from the beginning and

wait for them to crackle. Once they're crackling away it's time to add the

green chillies followed by the ginger and garlic. If you think the oil is too

hot at this point go ahead and turn it down a little bit and make sure to keep

these ingredients moving. We want them to cook and to become aromatic but we don't

want them to burn. And once you can smell their beautiful aromas go ahead and add

the turmeric powder followed by the red lentils and the rice. And I would like to

say that both the rice and the red lentils have each been soaked for 30

minutes before. I would highly recommend not missing this step. There are a lot of

benefits to pre-soaking pulses as well as rice but aside from that, it's really

going to help in the cooking process. Then stir to combine everything and add

a little bit of salt. You don't have to add a lot at this stage because you can

always adjust it once everything is cooked,

and the next step is to add water. The ratio of water is one to three-and-half

and in this instance the one refers to the combined amount of rice and

lentils. I had a cup and a half of combined rice and lentils so I used five

and a quarter cups of water. And that's water that I boiled in my kettle. That's

gonna help speed up the cooking process as well. As you could see this was

already bubbling away and that's because I used water that was already hot. Then

go ahead and shut the pressure cooker and allow this to cook on high for 3

whistles. That's what a whistle looks like right there, and in case you need

any further clarification you can check out this video I made on how to make a

simple dal and use your pressure cooker without detriment.

After the third whistle, go ahead and turn down the heat to low. This will

give you enough time to work on the tempering for your Khichdi and you only

need a couple of things for this. A whole red chilli, some curry leaves, and about a

teaspoon of coriander seeds. Start out by heating some ghee or oil in a little

skillet on high heat and just add in all of the tempering ingredients. This is an

optional step but it does add an extra layer of deliciousness to your Khichdi.

And even though this is a simple Khichdi, it's not basic. Just because this recipe

isn't complicated, doesn't mean we're going to skip steps or take any

shortcuts. By this time, all the steam should be released from your pressure

cooker so go ahead and open it up and take a minute to appreciate the vibrant

and beautiful color of this dish. You can adjust the salt if you need to at this

stage and then add the tempering right on top and combine it into the dish. This

oil that's been infused with these roasted spices is going to give such a

depth of flavor to this Khichdi and if you're in need of some culinary love

because you haven't been feeling well, you're gonna feel thoroughly comforted

when you taste this. You can certainly eat this on its own but my favorite way

to serve this is alongside some tomato salad, some plain yogurt, and mango pickle

or aam ka achaar. The complete recipe as well as the recipe for this very simple tomato

Everyday I received lots of comments and, answering them, I noticed that there are some frequently questions.

So I decided to make this video to answer and to give you some little tips hoping they would be interesting.

Did you trimmed your hair during the hair growth?

I did but only the sides and back.

Like you can see my top hair is longer than the rest.

I trimmed it to overcome the awkward stage, a period in which our hair seems messy and hard to manage and also ugly to see.

So here some advices for you: you can use this hats or headbands to cover up your hair or you can use some wax!

Which products do you use?

I just use natural products.

Something you should look for are product with: Aloe Vera, Argan oil, Macadamia seeds oil and others...

But these are my favorites!

For me, it's better to avoid sulfates and parabens like I said in the other video...

Generally two or three times per week depending on how much the hair is dirty.

It's important to use always the shampoo and the hair conditioner.

Better if you use an after shower oil too!

I'm not gonna lie to you.

It's mainly genetic.

But you can increase the volume with some little things such as...

Dry your hair upside down or dry it to the open air.

THAT PEOPLE HAVE DONE BY FAITH.

AND FATIH IS THE LEANING OF THE ENTIRE

HUMAN PERSONALITY ON GOD IN ABSOLUTE TRUST AND CONFIDENCE

IN HIS POWER, WISDOM, AND GOODNESS.

AND FAITH IS ALSO THE ASSURANCE, THE CONFIRMATION,

THE TITLE DEED OF THE THINGS WE HOPE FOR

YOU KNOW, HOW MANY PEOPLE KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT?

HOW MANY PEOPLE DO YOU THINK MARCH OFF TO CHURCH EVERY WEEK

AND THEY BELIEVE IN JESUS BUT IF YOU START CHECKING

THEIR BELIEVING, ALL OF THEIR BELIEVING IS WRONG

IN EVERY OTHER AREA OF THEIR LIFE.

SO, EVEN IF YOU'RE BELIEVING SOMETHING WRONG

IT'S STILL YOUR REALITY.

SEE, I BELIEVE BECAUSE I'VE BEEN ABUSED

IN MY CHILDHOOD, SEXUALLY, THAT I WOULD ALWAYS HAVE

A SECOND CLASS, SECOND RATE LIFE.

THAT I WOULD ALWAYS BE KIND OF MESSED UP.

WELL, THAT WAS JUST A LIE THAT SATAN HAD TOLD ME.

BUT NOBODY EVER TOLD ME DIFFERENT

SO I BELIEVED THE LIE WHEN I COULD HAVE HAD THE TRUTH.

SO THAT'S FAITH.

BY FAITH YOU CAN DO UNBELIEVABLE THINGS.

WHEN I LOOK BACK AT MY LIFE I DO NOT KNOW

HOW I GOT FROM WHERE I STARTED TO WHERE I'M STANDING TONIGHT.

I MEAN, YOU KNOW, I COULD LOOK BACK AND SAY

I REMEMBER THE THINGS I DID AND THIS AND THAT

BUT, THIS IS STRICTLY A BY FAITH THING.

BY FAITH AND I WISH PEOPLE TODAY KNEW MORE ABOUT FAITH.

WE SPEND MORE TIME IN OUR LIFE WAITING ON SOMETHING

THEN WE DO THOSE MOMENTS WHEN WE RECEIVE

AND GET ALL EXCITED BECAUSE THAT GETS OVER

PRETTY QUICK AND THEN YOU START WAITING ON SOMETHING ELSE AGAIN.

TOOK ME ABOUT 40 YEARS TO FIGURE THAT OUT AND I FINALLY

THOUGHT I BETTER IMPROVE MY WAITING GAME.

BECAUSE I DID NOT WAIT WELL.

SO, IF YOU DON'T WAIT WELL YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE

A PRETTY MISERABLE LIFE.

YOU'RE ALWAYS WAITING ON SOMETHING.

GOD IS SO SMART!

WHAT GOD DOES IS HE PUTS A THOUGHT IN THEIR HEAD.

SO, I CAN SAY, "I PRAY FOR SO-AND-SO

TO STUDY THE WORD."

WELL, THEN THEY MAY HAVE THIS THOUGHT,

"YOU KNOW, I PROBABLY SHOULD START STUDYING THE WORD."

WELL, THE COOL-- NOW, THEY STILL GET A CHOICE.

YOU KNOW, YOUR PRAYERS DON'T MAKE SOMEBODY DO SOMETHING.

BUT GOD PUTS THOUGHTS IN THEIR MIND

OF WHAT YOU'VE PRAYED FOR, THEN IF THEY DO IT,

THEY'RE SILLY ENOUGH TO THINK IT WAS THEIR IDEA.

TO BECOME AGREEABLE TO HIS WILL.

SO, WE NEED TO EXPECT SOMETHING GOOD TO HAPPEN.

EXPECT SOMETHING GOOD IS GOING TO HAPPEN.

THINGS CAN CHANGE AT ANY MINUTE.

preferably put it up where you can see it at the beginning of the day before

you want to put the day together this is a good phrase just to glance out to keep

but what makes the difference why would one person do twice as well three times

as well speaking economically now I know there's more than one way to do well I

understand that but in this little narrow area called compensation what's

the difference well back then with my faulty thinking I'm trying to reason it

out I thought well maybe time makes some of

the difference right some people do better because they have more time I

used to say Harold ought to be able to do well he's got a lot of time if I had

all of Harold's time I could do well now that's got to be done right number one

you can't get somebody else's time

a guy system.you in titus he says you know if I had some extra time I can make

some extra money I said didn't forget it there isn't any

extra time hey when the clock strikes 12:00 midnight that about wraps it up

right I mean you can look around the gong here for a little more but it's

over you saves the guy what are you doing you said looking for extra time

see they'll come and take you away right there isn't any more time now if you

can't get more time which you can what did you get more of that would make a

difference in economic results and here's the key word make it a part of

your notes we're going to consider it tonight the word is value and I have a

little phrase for your notes value makes the difference in results

value makes the difference

you can't get more time but you can create more value

now here's the first lesson of economics everybody should learn it from the time

they're old enough to understand what a dollar means how to earn one how to get

one how to keep one what to do with it first lesson of economics we primarily

get paid for value that's lesson one bringing value to the marketplace that's

how you get things you don't get paid for the time I know it takes time to

bring value to the marketplace but you get paid for the value not the time now

since that's true here's one of the key questions of the evening is it possible

to become twice as valuable at the marketplace and make twice as much money

in the same time did you become three times as valuable make three times as

much money in the same time is that possible the answer is yes if

and it's always if write life is known as the big if Harry Truman once said

life is iffy how true and here's the big if we're going to consider tonight it's

possible to do much better at the marketplace if you go to work primarily

on yourself and that's the theme of our seminar tonight learning to work

primarily on yourself

people have asked me for the last 24 years how do you develop an

an above-average handshake some people want to be successful they don't even

work on their handshake as easy as that would be to start on they let it slide

probably one of the most frustrating experiences in life is looking for an

above-average job with above-average pay without becoming an above-average person

and mr. chef gave me probably the greatest clue he gave me when I first

met him he said Jim if you want to be wealthy and happy the rest of your life

just learn this lesson well he said learn to work harder on yourself than

you do on your job

then mr. self gave me problem one of the most important clues among so

many things he taught me but this was in those early days

mr. shelf is very kind but he was also very abrupt and he had these interesting

questions to ask I'm giving him a little run day run down one day on how things

hadn't worked out for me he said mr. Owen I've got the answer for you if you

will listen carefully and listen carefully I did that day and for the

next five years if somebody's wealthy and happy you've got a list he said Jim

I've only known you a short time but he said it's already my honest opinion that

for things to change for you you've got to change

that wasn't quite the answer I was looking for but that's the answer he

gave me and I pass it along to you on this warm summer evening in Anaheim

California 1981 for things to change for you you've got to change otherwise it

isn't going to change before I met mr. shelf I used to say I

sure hope things will change right that seemed to be my only hope if it isn't

see I can tell you what the 80s are going to be like you have dropped into

I did a seminar one time for standard oil executive management

in Honolulu and we're having the conference one day on this big

conference table and one of them said to me mr. Owen you know some fairly

important people halfway around the world what do you think the eighties are

gonna be like I said gentlemen I do know the right people

I can tell you so they all listen very carefully and I see gentlemen based on

my wide experience I can really honestly say to you in my opinion in the 80s it's

gonna be about like it's always been

aren't you glad she came that's inside I don't pass that around just everywhere

now of course I said that to make but I also said it because it's accurate

it's gonna be about like it's always been

it isn't gonna change the tide comes in and then one it goes out for six and a

half thousand years that we know our recorded history and probably long

before that so it is not gonna change it gets light and then what it turns dark

six and a half thousand years see it's not likely to change and we're not to be

startled by that

if the sun goes down the guys what's happened what's happened it means he

hasn't been here long I guess it always goes down about this time the guy says

well I don't like that arrangement well you got to talk to somebody besides me

right it gets light then it turns dark in rotation the next season after fall

is what winter pray tell how often does winter follow fall every year regularly

for the last six-and-a-half thousand that we know if see it is not going to

change now some winters are long and some are short and some are hard and

some are easy but they always come right after Falls it isn't gonna change

sometimes you can figure it out sometimes there's no way to figure it

out sometimes it goes well sometimes it gets in a knot

sometimes it sails along sometimes it gets in Reverse

see that's not gonna change the last 6,000 years reads like this opportunity

mixed with difficulty that's how it reads it isn't gonna change the man says

well if it isn't gonna change how will my life ever change answered when you

change

and whether I'm talking to high school kids or business executives my message

is always the same and it goes like this the only way it gets better for you is

when you get better

let me give you the four major lessons in life to learn here's four majors it's

good to study the natures

in our weekend seminar we keep some people don't do well because they major

in minor things you've got to be on the lookout at the end of every weekend of

every month you got to check make sure you're not spending major time on minor

things and we go through that whole series with majors and minors

now let me give you two phrases before we get to the for matrix this will set

it up and you'll see what I'm going to keyphrases for your notes here's the

first one life and business is like the changing

seasons that's the first phrase life and business is like the changing seasons

one of the best ways to describe life it's like the seasons Frank Sinatra

sings life is like seasons now here's the second phrase very important you

cannot change the seasons but you can change yourself you can't change the

seasons but you can change your set and see that's how life gets better for

you not by chance but by change

now here's the four major lessons in life to learn

I've got my first book finished came out a couple of weeks ago this is in it the

four major lessons in life to learn here they are number one learn how to handle

the winters that's lesson one they come right after Falls with regularity some

are long and some are short and some were hard and some are easy but they

keep coming

you must learn to handle the nights they come right after days you must learn to

handle difficulty it comes right after opportunity you must learn to handle

recessions they always follow progressions for the last six thousand

see it isn't gonna change the lesson you must learn is how to handle it and

there's all kinds of winters right the winter when you can't figure it out

the winter when it all go speche the winter when it turns belly-up

the winter when it won't work when you run out of money and you've got a broken

heart see those are winter times there's all

kinds economic winters social winters personal winters when your heart is

smashed in a thousand pieces and the nights are unusually long your prayers

seem to go no higher than your head it's wintertime

barbra streisand sings it used to be so natural to talk about forever but used

to bees don't biggest lay on the floor

do we sweep them away you

and you don't say you need me and you don't bring me flowers anymore a song of

winter let's see the disappointments come those are normal

that's part of life but the question is how do you handle it how do you handle

the coming winters and the disappointments in the down times well

you can't get rid of January by tearing it off the calendar

but here's what you can do you can get stronger you can get wiser and you can

get better the winters won't change but you can and that's how life changes for

you see before I understood when it was winter I used to wish it was summer I

didn't understand what it was hard I used to wish it was easy I didn't know

and then mr. Shope gave me a part of his very unique philosophy when he said

don't wish it was easier wish you were better see that triggered my whole life

change don't wish for less problems wish for more skills don't wish for less

challenge wish for more wisdom that's the key

so that's lesson one learn how to handle the winters here's lesson to learn how

to take advantage of the spring that's the second spring is called opportunity

and spring follows winter what a great place for it if you were gonna put it

somewhere that you place to put it right after winter and pray tell how often

does spring follow in it every year with regularity 6000 you can

almost care on it see opportunity always comes days follow

nice isn't that terrific opportunity follows difficulty but here's what you

must learn to do underline these two words in that key phrase take advantage

underline those two you must learn to take advantage of the spring see just

because spring rolls around is no sign you're gonna look good come fall you've

got to do something with it

in fact you have to get good at one of two things

bring or bacon in the fall or get somebody to do it for you see those are

about the only alternatives now here's what else you must do take

advantage of the springs quickly because there's only a few just a handful of

Springs have been handed to each of us they don't come forever life is fairly

brief so you got to read every book you can get your hands on and what to do

with your Springs while they're here and take advantage they soon run out the

Beatles wrote life is so short and for John Lennon it was extra short but life

is brief Elton John sings she lived her life like a candle in the wind it's

brief so whatever you're gonna do with your life you got to get at it don't

just let the springs pass pass thanks

here's the third major lesson life to learn learn how to protect your crops

all summer

you got to take care of what you start sure enough as soon as you've planted

your garden in the spring the busy bugs and the noxious weeds are out to take it

and here's the next bit of truth they will take it

unless you prevent it and that's the third major skill to learn you've got to

learn to prevent the intruder from taking all the good you start it's one

of the challenges

here's two key phrases on the number three first one all good will be

attacked on this planet maybe not the next when

we get to but on this one all good will be attached every garden will be invaded

not to think so is naive and here's a second phrase all values must be

defended

political values social values community values family values marriage values

friendship values business values every garden must be tended all summer third

major lesson

now here's number four fourth major Leslie life to learn

learn how to reap in the fall without complaint

learn to read come by the stein without comfort

take full responsibility for what happens to you it's one of the highest

forms of human maturity accepting full responsibility it's the day you know

you've passed from childhood to adulthood the day you accept full

responsibility

and another note learn to reap in the fall without apology without apology if

you do well and without complaint if you don't that's maturity

I used to have that long list of reasons why I wasn't doing well

to explain you got to explain right otherwise you're gonna look bad I used

to have this funny list called reasons for not looking good

I used to blame the government I mean you can believe that or not it was at

the top of my list I had a lecture second-to-none the govern men that was

on Melissa I used to blame taxes look what she got left after they take

everything and they expect you to do well that was Melissa prices that was

easy right you walk into the supermarket with $20 come out with a little half bag

I had that Melissa I used to blame the weather I blame the traffic I used to

blame my car I blame the manufacturers I used to blame the company I blamed

company policy I used to blame the training program

I blame my negative relatives they were always put meat there I blame my cynical

neighbors they're just selfish looking out for themselves won't loan you money

they were on my list

I used to blame the economy I blame the community that's pretty good list for

not doing well isn't it I thought it was good I'll never forget one day mr. shelf

is very kind but he was also very blunt and this was no exception and I'm glad

he was blunt there's a lot of things out of mist if you had the big lunch one day

what sort of a curious look on his face he said Jim just out of curiosity tell

me how come you haven't done well up until now

I thought well so I won't look too bad I'll go through my list and this list I

just gave you I put that on him and he was very patient he let me go through

the whole thing the government the weather I went through this whole thing

when I finished he looked my lists over very carefully he said mr. own big

problem with your list you ate on it

when I went to work for him a few months later I learned very quickly to tear up

my list reasons for not doing well and I threw it away and I got me a fresh piece

of paper and I put one word on it me

there's a black heritage spiritual that says it's not my mother nor my father

nor my brother nor my sister but it's me O Lord standing in the need of prayer

see I used to blame everything outside and then let me give you a little

philosophy to help turn my life around for your notes here it is it's not what

happens

that determines the quality or the quantity of your life it's not what

happens and the reason is because what happens happens to about everybody no

different the Sun went down on all of us last night

a common event of happening and I found out that the same things can happen to

two different people one gets rich in one stays poor why is that it's because

it's not what happens but rather it's what

do the changes everything

so that's a keyframes it's not what happens it's what you do

anything can happen hide everything can happen I've heard all the stories I've

looking that bad but when it all goes has anybody been there when it all went

all been there right let it all with of course used to be a long time ago right

when you ran out of money got the zero you were all through heck now you can

whistle right on by zero they will bury you that's what they will do

but see those are the happenings right everything can happen anything can

happen but it's not the happenings it's what you do about it somebody says yeah

but you don't understand the disappointments I've had come on

everybody's had their share disappointments are not special gifts

reserved for the poor everybody has them the difference is what you do about

it's not the weather I used to blame the weather and I discovered it rains on the

ridge so see that won't help two men wake up one morning there's a

rainstorm on one of looks out his window sees the rainstorm but he says wow what

a storm with weather like this they can't expect you to go out make sales he

stays home

same morning the other guy looks out his window sees the same storm says Wow what

a storm but he says you know what with weather like this what a great day to go

out and make sales most everybody will probably be long

see that's the difference in how your life works out it's not what happens

it's what you do so here's one of the key questions of the even starting

no, they're not horror movie titles

but a ranking of the worst apartments in Japan

let's start with a very interesting video

so, since some time ago I did a video about the Jikkobukken

the houses that are hounted by ghosts

and you get like a very cheap apartment

today I decided to took around 20 apartments,

really gorgeous apartments here in Japan

that are...how can I say...original

because they have really interesting real estate choices...

but let's see them together!

let's start with the first apartment

so, the first one is not that small

it's almost 13 sqm and it's really cute

you enter and at your left you find the toilet

with a useful curtain, that separates the room

it's a really practical and nice idea

the second apartment is more for the cute girls,

because they can take the shower on the balcony

so, they will have a lot of male friends and also the neighbours will be happy

- really funny this idea of having a thub on the balcony

I don't recommend to use it in winter

it's a kind of Onsen...

ok, let's see the next apartment, its one of my favourite ones

I really hope to rent this one, since I transfer to Japan

It's a 30sqm apartment, it's not that difficult to calculate

then we have another 6 meters room

whatever, this apartment is really practical, because the W.C.

is in the middle of the apartment and you can enter from each room

the only thing is that you need to pass through the W.C. every time you want to go in a different room,

so, if you want to go in the living room, you need to pass through the W.C. ...

well, I'm in a really uncomfortable position right now... but like this I'm to low

maybe so, I need to buy something to the make videos

ah like this its better

let's go to the next apartment!

the next apartment is really cute!

and it's that cute, because there are three bath-thubs, one behind another

and above that the stairs leading to the second floor

lead to the washing machine

and who in the world invented that!?

and please subscribe, on that channel I talk about things that are upsetting me!

I change position!

the next apartment is not that expensive

it's a little bit small, I can't read right now how many meters it has

but it's not that big

it cost 26.000 yen

like around 200€

it's located 15 minutes by walk from the station

the only thing is that you can't rent it, if you are sensitive to ghosts

the next one

is an apartment that I recommend to lazy people

or like to the ones that are super busy

so, while your sitting on the toilet, you can also do the laundry

isn't it practical? I say yes!

the next one is a really big apartment, around 80sqm

the main room is 44sqm big

and two rooms of 10sqm, so it's big

the particularity is the cat form

I don't know if it's real, it's so stange

but well, it's a funny idea!

the next apartment is also nice!

Ladies and Gentleman, this apartment is a bit small

but it's practical, because the toilet and kitchen are in the same room

so, if you have a urgent colitis attack, you can use the toilet, while you cook

ah maybe you can also wash the dishes, while you're on the toilet

and above of that the washing machine is under the sink

how nice!

well, the next one is a normal apartment

the only thing is that there is another house right in front

wow, the neighbours will be happy...

the next apartment is another nice and particular apartment

it's written--

it's like an artistic apartment

well, you just need to watch at the pictures^^

it cost like 180€

you can play music, without problems

so, I recommend it to all musicians!

and you can also have a pet! WOW

the next apartment is really indispensable

it's for the people that have a lot of friends,

but more "bathroom" friends

like you know the girls who go in three in the bathroom

I have the solution for you!

a bathroom with three toilets! genius!

and like in the middle of this room you can put a table

and you can play table games! how nice

I really recommend it, if you're three friends

or three sisters...

the next apartment is for the people that enjoy showing themselves

like while you're taking a shower

so, you bascally invite friends at home and in the middle of the living room

you will have the bathroom surrounded by windows

so, they can admire you from every corner

I don't understand the meaning, I really try to find an answer to these apartments, but I can't...whatever

let's go on!

the next one has also the bathroom in the middle of the room

I think it's a trend here in Japan to have the bathroom in the middle of the room!

if you don't have it, you're basically a loser!

and you will never conquist a bamboo chick

I'm trying my best to defuse these apartments, but yeah I can't...

really, I don't know how a japanese real estate can sell these apartments!

but maybe there are people that have particular wishes

the next apartment is very useful, because you have the toilet right in front of the entrance room

the next one is like the worst apartment, in my opinion

it's 7.5sqm

the thing is that when you open the door, you will see a really long aisle

and at the end you will have a toilet!

I don't know how to explain all this!

I imagine they share the shower^^

but like I will prefer to have also a shared bathroom, than this thing here!

next one...well the gas is behind the sink

usually you see the gas near the sink, but yeah this one is like this...

I don't know if it's comfortable

maybe this one is the most interesting one that I'm showing you

this apartment is not that small

around 40sqm

this one looks like a maze!

so, you basically enter from the door and you will have an aisle with a toilet

and also the bath-thub,

you exit again and there is the kitchen??

I can't even explain it to you

it's a maze!

I will like suffer from claustrophobia

imagine a ghost coming from every corner! no no

I will be afraid to live there, what about you?

this is the second-last apartment

this is for the people that want to live on top of a building...

and you will have like your own apartment on top

it's about 3sqm

well, I need to say that this apartment is at least funny...

I don't know where this apartment is, but I like the idea to live on top of another house

the last one is a normal apartment

it seems to be in a video game

on the rooftop you have Godzilla that is saying hi to you!

whatever... these where the most strange apartments of 2017

News outlets have buzzed over the last few months over American actress Meghan Markle

and her engagement to Prince Harry of England. After their royal engagement took place, she

later announced she was going to retire from acting and would dedicate herself to her royal

duties. More and more stories detailing her upcoming events and the proposed wedding have

been reported. One funny story about her and the Prince will surely have you laughing.

Over the Christmas holiday, Markle stayed in England to celebrate the holiday with Prince

Harry. She is American, has no family in England, and non-royals are prohibited from joining

family celebrations unless they are married to a royal. However, the royal family made

an exception for her.

Markle was photographed in pictures with Prince William, Duchess Kate, and her future father

and stepmother-in-law. What we did not know about, was the hysterical gift that she gave

to the Queen for Christmas. It was so funny that it had her in hysterics. Giving funny

gifts is a royal tradition as they do not provide each other ordinary extravagant gifts,

but instead – they give each other gag gifts and have fun and good laughs.

The Daily Mail reported,

"The first Christmas spent with a partner's family is always nerve-wracking, especially

for Meghan Markle, whose in-laws include the Queen herself. But Prince Harry's fiance

managed to get on his grandmother's good side with a very amusing gift during her first

Christmas at Sandringham. According to the Daily Star Online, Meghan, 36, bought Her

Majesty a singing toy hamster which, according to the paper, left the the monarch in 'hysterics'.

A source said: 'Meghan bought a little hamster that sings with a little rope for Her Majesty.'

'It was so funny, especially when the corgis tried to take hold of the toy. She (the Queen)

laughed and said "they can keep my dogs company!"' The Royal family buy each other

comical gifts at Christmas and honour their German heritage by opening presents on Christmas

Eve. The Daily Star also claims that Meghan cheekily poked fun at the Duke of Cambridge's

Meghan's choice of novelty gifts were well received among the family who tend to shun

serious or expensive presents with Prince Harry reported to have once gifted his grandmother

a shower cap printed with the slogan 'Ain't life a b****'. Prince Charles' most cherished

gift is reportedly a white leather toilet seat given to him by Princess Anne, which

he found so comfy that it now travels with him on his overseas tours.

In comparison the Duchess of Cambridge opted for a sweet homemade gift for her first Christmas

with the Queen, gifting her a jar of chutney from her own grandmother's recipe. Apart

from a slight wobble when she curtsied to the Queen after the service, Meghan's first

public appearance with members of the royal family appeared to go without a hitch. Prince

Harry told the Today programme that her first royal family Christmas had been a resounding

success. When the fifth in line to the throne was quizzed by presenter Sarah Montague at

the end of guest editing the three-hour show he replied: 'It was fantastic, she really

enjoyed it.'

When Markle officially marries the Prince, then it will be the first time an American

great scandal and resulted in their great Uncle's disowning by the royal family.

However, the times have changed since then. The attitude towards divorce has somewhat

changed. Especially since the Queen's now deceased sister Margaret was divorced twice.

And the Queen's children have been divorced numerous times. That indicates that Markle

is very accepted in the family, unlike other Americans and divorcees from the past.

It was a messy ordeal.

The election season of 2016 was one which many of us would like to forget.

However, as things turned out, the election was only the beginning of an ongoing, two-sided

struggle which involved the intentional concealment of damning secrecy of alleged government criminals,

and the strenuous efforts of the people to dethrone and bring these (alleged) criminals

to justice.

The topic of Hillary Clinton's illegal handling of classified information was originally discussed

in late 2016.

At that time, most of the corporate media was in the pocket of the Clintons, and there

was very little sign of objectivity in mainstream reporting.

This was, of course, realized when all of the journalists who had been secretly meeting

with Clinton to discuss how they might portray her in the best light possible and to give

her the best chance of winning the people's approval.

Among the bias reports about Clinton's history and that of the Clinton Foundation, was the

notion that there was absolutely no way to obtain the email evidence which Clinton claimed

to have lost prior to the scandalous investigation.

Up until that point, there was much speculation as to what Hillary was attempting to hide

when her server data conveniently went missing.

The news along with an exceptionally questionable FBI maintained that Hillary was free and clear

to continue her campaign against the dreaded Trump.

Meanwhile, the people were left ignorant of the truth behind Hillary's conveniently ambiguous

past.

Then it happened.

Suddenly, the people remembered that we live in a digital age in which professional back-up

services store data--sometimes for years on end--even after it is deleted in one location.

This is commonly done in government agencies for the sake of fault tolerance, and according

to reports, this remote back-up technology was very available for Clinton and her staff.

As it turns out, the FBI reported prematurely and irresponsibly when they claimed there

were no files to investigate, as FBI staff are fully aware of the thorough procedure

needed to complete an official investigation.

It appears that to some extent, that parties within the FBI were compromised by Clinton

interests, just as the numerous members of corporate media were found to be.

This seems to be the most logical explanation for the situation.

However, as things appear, the case is very serious and if taken to court, could yield

some very hefty charges for Hillary and her entourage.
