Super Shepherds Pie Recipe

INTRO

If you want to know how to make this British food recipe you're in the right place

I've been asked about my shepherd's pie recipe time and time again. I've been asked my live streams on Sundays

I've always live stream on a sunday - hang on a second this Sunday is Easter Sunday, I'm still live streaming on YouTube though.

Everyone got to choose what I made, so I' ended up making like an Oreo Sunday with cookie dough ice cream with peanut butter

With coffee in it - coffee and a peppermint cream on top

How cool is that? This is all about shepherd's pie. Let's get to it

HORN NOISE

As you can see I've got a whole different asssortment of things here, I've got potatoes I've got carrots

All sorts different things and an onion look at this onion this onion

Weighs about three pounds, maybe three and a half pound

absolutely gigantic

We're not using this one unfortunately. It's for something else

We're gonna use one onion about 250 grams about half a pound chopped up nice and small okay

So first things first in the UK shepherd's pie. It's called

Shepherd's pie because it has lamb in it Shepherd looks after lambs, okay?

We call anything with beef in it would be cottage pie. So this is going to be shepherd's pie we are making today.

What we do is get its pan nice and hot and the first thing. We'll do is remove that greasy problem

We get so much grease sometimes come out of the lamb

We want to try and get as much that off as you can and then we'll start adding some extra ingredients to it

So you can see as we start brown that you get an awful lot of liquid coming out of there something

That's flavour something that's lamb, but an awful lot of it that is unfortunatetly fat, so what we're gonna do is pour that off

Just a couple minutes of browning up like that so most liquid comes out of it perfect stop right there

I'm actually gonna pour this off and keep it because I will separate the fat out from the flavor later using another dish again

so first step complete

We've removed an awful lot of the fat now now all do is start adding some flavor to it next thing goes in 450g/1lb of carrot

which has been chopped quite small

Cooking nice high heat

Then goes in one large onion chopped

Top tips for the carrots if you want suffering the slightly before you put them into the frying pan if you put the microwave on their

Own for about three-and-a-half four minutes it will soften them up a little bit in here. We have one tablespoon of Worcester sauce

Or say like say across the pond Woooor Ciii ceeeestooor sauce

Worcester sauce pop that in there I've also got here one tablespoon of mushroom ketchup. Don't worry

If you can't get all these in America. It just adds a little bit richness

Rosemary garlic and Thyme why isn't that going in the Shepherds Pie? Well it is now so you need to add one garlic clove?

Two garlic cloves and

The third clove of garlic just for luck

So I've just popped three cloves of garlic in there. I'm gonna give that a stir around quickly

The heats on nice and high still, next while it's still nice, and hot we're gonna add some. Thyme and some rosemary this

Sprinkle Rosemary like that

The same with the Thyme to grab yourself a few bits of Thyme

If you using dried herbs - no problem at all just pop the teaspoon of each in there should be fine reason

We'll add in the herbs now for this dry heat

You said that we can cook the herbs's get these oils out there and get them into me

It starts smell delicious already

This is about quarter of liter

Just under half a pint of beef stock when the pour into there

It's all start to soften up quite nicely now

That's smelling absolutely delicious. This next step is completely optional what I'm gonna

Do I'm gonna add around about a glass of red wne to it a glass of Cabernet?

Sauvignon the reason you add that red wne - it's for flavor for a depth of flavor

And what you're doing is you're cooking the alcohol off it here

I have around about a glass of red ine it's a Cabernet Sauvignon should pour that in there as well

Keep it on that high heat for a minute

Until it starts to boil then what we'll do is ease it off and turn it down to a simmer

The carrots and the onions are soft now, the herbs have infused from the meat and the smell coming from this is really quite wonderful

But first of all I need to add some tomato paste to it 2 tablespoons of tomato paste

At this point grab yourself a tablespoon of flour and just pop it in there just to really thicken up a little bit

With the potatoes cut them up like this and put them onto high heat for a boil

Bring them up to boil with for about 10 minutes. Give it a taste and season with salt pepper to your liking

Can't go any further without a quick taste

Wow

So as you can see unfortunately as I did the taste test

I put the tripod down in wrong place, and I've burnt the tripod and the top that's okay no problem

Nothing is going to stop me sharing with you. How I make my super shepherd's pie

Right so excuse me if it gets a little bit shaky and in this hands-free pretty much

Potatoes boiling away nicely you see when you get them out

We're going to mash them up with a bit butter a tiny bit milk and a little bit cheese

the potatoes by the way are Maris Piper

I tend to use Maris piper or king edwards working out as most family cooking just really like them

enjoy the flavor what we'll do now is add about 85 grams or quarter of a stick of butter and

Mash and then add a tiny bit of milk if I need to at the end in goes a butter

Excuse the lack of tripod

So for this dish you want a nice light fluffy

Quite a dry mash if you can if you want crispy and crunchy on top the mash is done start preheating your oven

As we put this together so turn your oven on to about 200 degrees Celsius

That's coming up and Fahrenheit right now

Okay, so lets quickly get that in there to cool down a fair bit pop down the bottom

So just spread that out nice and flat like that then we look at the potatoes on top doesn't that look delicious

lovely big chunks of

Lamb big big chunks, so there we go potatoes on top. I've on purpose made it very very ruffled on top

I'm not one to flatten it down with a fork

I'm gonna Chuck a bit of rosemary on there now a little bit of thyme and then a little bit cheese

Those bits on top of me are lovely and crunchy. Rosemary is on next the Thyme

Okay, so that's being the oven for about

25 minutes at 200 Celsius because it's already cooked it's bubbling through nicely

I see what we do now is turn the grill and Chuck some cheese on top

So I'm going to just pop bit that cheese on top sprinkle it across there

Turn the grill nice and high just finish off for a few minutes. Give it a lovely golden sort of finish all over

It's gonna be delicious

A good stress buster! A fix to a better world.

But most people are drawn towards stronger drugs.

Like opium, cocaine and heroin.

As of June 2016,

the UN estimates, that there are 29 million people who are doing drugs..

of which many are constant drug abusers

And.. in order to understand this addiction

we need to understand why people choose these opiates in the first place

There have been several publications trying to reason why people abuse drugs

Well, people go back to taking drugs because it makes them feel good

It makes them forget the problem at hand

Some are just curious and want to experiment with drugs

Some want to unwind at the end of the day, and when alcohol is just not enough

they need something stronger

Sometimes it could be because of the stress at work

And, sometimes he comes under peer pressure cause

he doesn't know where he fits in.

I am sure that there are times at which he wished things had gone right for once.

Addiction usually starts when one feels lonely.

The worst part is, once you are hooked,

then you are trapped!

The UN report states that there are at least 250,000 deaths a year

due to drug problems

and almost half of that...

is because of overdose...

There is money to be made in this business.

Billions!

What if!?

What if, we could synthesize heroin in such a way

that it is harmless, and at the same time a better stress buster!

It could be administered in different ways, I mean innovative ways!

No more needle marks.

No more addiction. Not even side-effects.

What if!?

What if, you could decide the dream that you are in.

Psychedelic, romantic or

maybe a crazy adventure?

What if this drug could provide you with immense strength that no other drug could provide.

And..

What if there are no more deaths?

What would you call this other than a miracle drug?

Hyper-heroin is my solution!

Easter Eggs You Always Miss In Movies - Duration: 10:01.

Hunting for Easter eggs in movies has become a passion for large numbers of movie geeks

out there.

In fact, there's no shortage of YouTube channels whose whole deal is all about pointing out

Easter eggs you might have missed in movies or even just their trailers.

Movie sites and wikis abound with lists of Easter eggs to be found in your favorite flicks.

And yet, even with all that, there are some Easter eggs from classic movies that don't

appear on any site or YouTube video for some reason.

In fact, once we point them out to you, you'll wonder how you missed these amazing Easter

Eggs for so, so long.

Here's a whole basket of movie Easter eggs that no one has ever thought to point out

— until now.

"Here kid, have an egg."

Malls attract strange company

The 1995 follow-up to Kevin Smith's seminal cult film Clerks, Mallrats boasts any number

of unforgettable scenes: like the one where a bearded Stan Lee pops up to talk about Ben

Grimm's junk.

Or the one with the schooner in the Magic Eye.

"Wow! A sailboat!"

"Shut up."

Or the one where Michael Rooker​​, currently beloved for his roles in The Walking Dead

and Guardians of the Galaxy, licks butt juice off his hand.

But for true cinephiles who are always looking to trump each other by uncovering the coolest

and most obscure Easter eggs in movies, one scene in particular stands out.

Early in the film, lovable slacker Brodie gets dumped by his girlfriend Rene to date

Ben Affleck's character.

Affleck then kidnaps Brodie and beats him up.

But when Brodie's friends, including Jay and Silent Bob, ask him what happened, he lies

and says the mall's Easter Bunny is the one who busted his nose.

"All I said was the Easter Bunny at the Menlo Park Mall was more convincing, and he just

jumped the railing and knocked me down."

Jay and Silent Bob decide to avenge their pal Brodie in the way they know best: tactless

violence.

But eagle-eyed viewers will catch an added layer to this scene.

If you look in the background, you'll see several plastic Easter Bunnies holding baskets.

And what's in those baskets?

Yeah, boy.

It's Easter eggs.

Bill and Ted's Bogus Holiday

Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey is the vastly underappreciated 1991 sequel to 1989's Bill

and Ted's Excellent Adventure, a movie that somehow managed to both kick off Keanu Reeves'

career and end Alex Winter's.

While the original film is about Bill and Ted traveling through time to gather historical

figures in order to pass their history presentation, Bogus Journey focuses on the two teens getting

offed by evil robot versions of themselves, going to Hell, and teaming up with the Grim

Reaper to save their fiancées.

It rules.

"(awesome guitar lick)"

While in Hell, the two dudes are forced to

face their greatest fears, which include Bill's grody grandmother and a military school colonel

who assigns them infinite push-ups.

The scariest vision of all, however, is one in which Ted is reverted to a younger version

of himself who had stolen a basket full of candy with his younger brother's name on it.

As he digs into the basket, he's confronted by a Chucky-faced pink rabbit who chases and

taunts him for making his brother cry.

Yup — the basket Ted stole from his brother was an Easter basket.

In other words: you guessed it, it was totally loaded with delicious Easter eggs.

Guardians of the Gal-eggs-y

2012's Rise of the Guardians is an incredibly rad animated film about the Guardians of Childhood,

a secret society of magical figures who help protect children and fight to keep childhood

magical for them.

Members of the team include Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, the Sandman, Jack Frost, and

a mysterious fellow named E. Aster Bunnymund.

To make a long story short, it turns out that this name is actually a cleverly hidden reference

to the Easter Bunny — which would totally explain some of Bunnymund's characteristics.

Like, y'know, the fact that he is a large talking bunny obsessed with Easter.

It also gives a new significance to the swarms of seemingly sentient, mobile eggs that follow

him around.

Once you know Bunnymund is actually the Easter Bunny, you might start to realize that that

these aren't the normal, everyday walking colored eggs that you see all the time.

These are actually Easter eggs.

Cool, right?

And all it took to figure it out was a little word puzzle solving.

Definitely makes all that time spent doing word searches feel like it was worth it.

"If you're not a kangaroo, what are you?"

"I'm a bunny — the Easter bunny."

Nightmare Before Easter

This next scene only makes sense thanks to fan theories from the internet — but if

those theories are right, it makes for a cool and unexpected Easter egg.

The Nightmare Before Christmas is a 1993 stop-motion animated movie where every major holiday has

its own town devoted to the celebration of that holiday.

Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town, accidentally stumbles across a portal

to Christmas Town and becomes obsessed with it.

He decides Halloween Town will run Christmas this year, and so he sends his minions Lock,

Shock, and Barrel to kidnap Santa Claus.

Why?

So Jack can do up the Yuletide in his own stripey, spiraly, Tim Burton Hot Topic fever

dream aesthetic that year.

The trick-or-treating trio don't initially come back with Santa Claus, however.

Instead they bring back a roughly human-sized rabbit carrying a basket and wearing a sash

that says "Happy Easter" on it.

Now here's where that cool fan theory kicks in: Since each of the portals leads to a different

holiday, one of those doors might just lead to some kind of Easter Town.

We know — get out those crime boards, people!

That would mean that this man-sized, basket-toting rabbit is actually the Easter Bunny, and those

lumps in his basket are probably those tasty Easter eggs we've been hunting!

That is, if the fan theory is true...

The big picture

Universal Pictures has been using an image of the planet Earth with some version of its

name superimposed on it since basically the beginning of its existence, even if it has

evolved quite a bit in the studio's century-plus history.

One thing has been consistent, however: It's always the logo on top of our regular, old,

round globe Earth.

Or is it?

Hop is a 2011 film from Universal that finally makes a movie out of the old traditional story

we've all known and loved since childhood –– that the Easter Bunny has a son who

would rather play drums in a rock and roll music band than deliver Easter baskets, and

whose dooks are actually jelly beans.

The genius behind the hidden Easter egg in Hop is that it comes before the movie even

starts.

Take a gander at the flick's first few seconds.

That familiar Universal globe isn't quite how you remember it, is it?

It isn't round.

And, no, it isn't flat either.

It's kind of ... oval?

You might even call it...egg-shaped.

The Easter Bunny Is Comin' to Town

These days, Rankin/Bass Productions is perhaps best known for its Christmas specials like

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, and Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town.

But they actually produced a large number of non-Christmas specials between 1964 and

1987, including a series of three separate origin films for the Easter Bunny in a span

of six years.

The last of these three Easter Bunny specials was 1977's The Easter Bunny Is Comin' to Town.

As the film's name implies, it's a sequel to 1970's Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town, and

it actually follows the template set out by that previous film maybe a little too closely.

Filling the role of the Winter Warlock from Santa Claus is a grumpy bear named Gadzooks

who has a tendency to steal anything holiday-related that anyone tries to carry past his home on

Big Rock Mountain.

In one scene, the future Easter Bunny, named Sunny... just like James Caan's character

in The Godfather... tries to cross the mountain only to be accosted by Gadzooks.

When Gadzooks inspects Sunny's basket looking for snacks, he finds the basket is full of

colored stones that Sunny intends to sell as paperweights.

A close viewing of the film, however, will call to mind an earlier scene in which Sunny

and his friends actually painted a large number of eggs bright colors in order to specifically

fool Gadzooks.

So not only does this scene feature some cool Easter eggs, it actually reveals the true,

totally, 100 percent, historically accurate origin of Easter eggs.

Not too shabby!

Who Hard-Boiled Roger Rabbit

1988's Who Framed Roger Rabbit is the most ambitious crossover event in history, no matter

what Marvel Studios says.

Where else can you see Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny, Woody Woodpecker, Droopy, and Pinocchio

in one movie?

Anyway, one scene in particular stands out to fans scouring this reference-laden flick

for Easter eggs.

In this scene, human detective Eddie Valiant is taunted by an egg-peeling barfly for working

a job with a toon.

Eddie angrily shoves the egg in the lout's mouth before we learn that Eddie's long-standing

anti-toon prejudice comes from the fact that …

"A toon killed his brother.

It might seem like a stretch, but could this regular egg actually be an Easter egg?

Hear us out: Disney is known for its perfectionism, and its animated films are filled with Easter

eggs.

So, it's unlikely that such a noticeable choice would be meaningless.

So, a prominent inclusion of an egg in a movie that stars a rabbit should be setting off

some alarm bells in your head.

Egg plus rabbit?

Sounds like Disney thought they could slip an Easter egg past us without us noticing.

Did we forget something?

Oh, right!

And we are here for a new concept of video

which is about my theories and thoughts on Glitchtale

and I remind you, is made by Camila Cuevas

When I watched the trailer for the episode 5 of the S2,

"My Promise",

A sentence has drawn my attention.

But I will keep that for the end of the video

knowing that I won't be talking only about that trailer,

But about other videos as well, new or not,

that also revolve around Glitchtale.

To help you understand my theories, I will show you some parts of the animations that I will be basing my theories on.

Asriel is back in the series

My first theory will be about Asriel

We know that in the last episode Asriel is dead and gone,

But that he will maybe and potentially come back in the series.

Why?

For the simple reason that if Sans has came back and got his full conscience back thanks to the love of his brother

Even if he is in the coma right now,

it would mean that Asriel would come back as well!

But Sans is back thanks to Betty...

She combined HATE to what was left of Sans' soul

To bring him back to life

And whan uncorrupted him was Papyrus' brotherly LOVE that saved him!

From that fact, if Betty does not do the same for Azzy,

...he will stay dead.

But who knows? Maybe Cami has another way to ressurect mosters for us to discover?

And that brings me to the first part of the Trailer

Well, 'till here, nothing too interesting

Betty, apparently inside Akumu, is holding Asriel's SOUL with some HATE attached to it.

And notice that the SOUL begins to deteriorate

Maybe it's because of Betty holding it too hard?

But my theory for this

takes form with a part of another video

that came out a week after the trailer that you will see

We can see Asriel at the moment before he goes to meet Frisk.

But we notice a change...

First off, this passage was there in the episode 2 of "LOVE",

Right after his little talk with Flowey

But we notice big difference:

The first one being that Asriel took the locket before to go to meet Frisk,

And in the bonus animation, he claims having forgotten it at his home

When he is already at his house.

Plus the locket isn't on the chest of drawers

And we can kind of notice that Azzy is like...

G L I T C H I N G

For an unknown reason, that brings me to this theory:

And what if this bonus part with Asriel is actually a memory that is corrupting

Because his SOUL is now in the hands of Betty.

Other possible theory: And what if this corruption was caused by the

HATE that we can see on his SOUL

in the first animation, causing all of these glitches

And from that fact, the fracture on his SOUL is actually a way to show that he is fighting

At the same time, seeing the face that Betty shows , it could be it...

Hidden Link between both animations

We can notice in the glitched animation with Asriel two images that show very quickly

(With some sort of audio screamer that scared me AF)

Well, I won't show you the thing again, but instead

show you both images:

In the first one, we can clearly see that the is is in flames, but it's not only that that startled me

I also noticed that we saw this view of the city

Non chaotic in one of the scenes of the trailer

That brings me to the second sequence of the Trailer:

Did you notice?

In this sequence, it's almost exactly the same image, but less chaotic

If we put both images together, we can see that it's the same city.

After having seen those, another theory came to me:

What if Betty used Asriel's powers

to burn the city?

But if it was the case,

The flames would be rainbow colored, and not red and orange.

(Maybe when they start burning something they become normal..?)

(It would not be that logical, still!)

Other hypothesis that joins the first ones: Maybe it's a "vision"

That Betty would give him to have CONTROLL

over his SOUL?

Problem for the second image

All those theories on that image

Reminded me... that I don't have any for the second image ;-;

How to say that this image is a little vague?

We can still see that it's total chaos,

with what seems to be the bottom of Asriel's body

that looks a little...

wounded.

For that, I have nothing to say except maybe

that it's the last thing that Azzy could think of before to die

But it would be too incoherent.

Amber's special SOUL

For the next theory we are going to talk about why could Amber have a special SOUL?

I think that a lot of you already know,

But I would still like to throw a little reminder there along with my theory

Along with a sequence that is going to illustrate it all.

As we know, Amber is the child of Integrity and Kindness.

That explains both of the colors of her SOUL.

Then, for the ability to switch between traits,

it gets complicated.

For my theory, it would be from the fact that both of her parents, being powerful magicians,

Would have given her those rare traits

But how did such a thing happen?

I could tell you that it's because her parents have those traits

But it would be too simple.

Also that, in that particular case, Amber could just have one of both traits

Or INTEGRITY, or KINDNESS.

But there, everything is still too vague to explain such a phenomenon.

Which brings me to the second last theory:

Why did Bravoury use Amber's body to create Betty?

Explination after the sequence:

As we know, BRAVOURY used a spell to beat

DETERMINATION.

Thinking that it would kill them, she sacrified her SOUL only to create BETTY.

So that could happen, she needed something else...

She needed a B O D Y.

By telling it this way, we could think that any body would do the trick.

But no! The theory would be that

BRAVOURY, not having enough time, took the first body available.

Otherwise know as Amber.

But here comes another theory: BRAVOURY used Amber's body

For her SOUL's special ability: SWITCHING.

And as we've learned in one of the sentences of one of the episodes

(sorry, i don't remember exactly what it was saying)

"This thing is capable of absorbing

any SOUL without making a difference"

That could bring us to Amber's capabilities: Changing her trait,

And also (maybe) being able to change the type of SOUL.

So, in total, to create BETTY, we have BRAVOURY'S SOUL,

containing her spirit and her destruction goal,

And, Amber's body for the physical matter

and her (potential) capacity to switch

The total forming BETTY.

But, for Akumu,

As we can see, we can only see

the SOUL and the BODY of BETTY. That gets me to the

last bit of the trailer and the final hypothesis of this video.

It's this UNIQUE sentence that has drived my attention

(and that also made my mind blow up when i came up with the theory)

If we pay enought attention to that sentence

((look above))

We can easily guess that BETTY and AKUMU are in reality the same and unique being separated in two

With their seperate conciousness. But it's not really THIS that made my mind blow up.

It's the other meaning of this sentence!

We know that they are the same person, but...

This sequence, saying "((look above))"

I was thinking about this:

BETTY AND AKUMU ARE PROBABLY GOING TO FUSE TOGETHERRR

Knowing that Akumu

has almost all of the kids from the school's souls,

And that from his help, BETTY has HATE,

HOW H4RD SHE IS TO BEAD WILL BE EVEN MORE INSANE!

Bonus: Mini Flowey's Theory

Asriel would be DEAD as himself,

But it would be possible that he comes back as Flowey. And when he says:

"Frisk needs me" It's in the meaning of "I need to push them a little more for them to beat BETTY'

There, potentially having come back,

DEATH.
