IS THIS THE WORST PROMPOSAL EVER?

IT IS PROM SEASON AT HIGH SCHOOLS ALL ACROSS THE COUNTRY.

PEOPLE ARE GETTING US TO PROMPT AND THIS HAPPENED AT A

HIGH SCHOOL, AN 18

YEAR OLD WHO IS SUBSTANTIALLY IN LOVE WITH HIS GIRLFRIEND OR GIRL

HE WANTED US TO PROMPT AND SO HE WENT AND MADE A SIGN FOR HER.

WHAT DID THAT SIGN LOOK LIKE?

LET'S TAKE A LOOK AT IT.

IT SAYS IF I WAS BY, I'D BE PICKING COTTON, BUT I'M WHITE,

SO I'M PICKING YOU FOR PROM.

WHAT A STUPID SIGN.

FIRST OF ALL, THIS IS THE LEAST CREATIVE, SMART WAIT TO DO A

PROPOSAL. HE RAN OUT OF SPACE WITH THE STENCILS AND HAD TO

WRITE PROM IN SMALL LETTERS.

HE USED THE WRONG GRAMMAR.

IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE CUTE.

LIKE A JOKE.

I KNOW, I AM GOOD EVOKE OUR NATIONAL SHAME AND DO IT POORLY.

THAT WILL GET HER.

IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE CHRONOLOGICALLY.

YOU WOULD NOT BE CURRENTLY PICKING COTTON.

YOU HAVE SO MUCH TIME MAKING A SIGN LIKE THAT TO DECIDE TO

YOURSELF, THAT IS A BAD IDEA.

BUT SHE PUT UP THE HEART EMOJI SO I THINK IT WORKED OUT

REALLY?

THIS IS FROM A SNAP. ON THE GIRL'S SNAP PROFILE AND AT

THE VERY BOTTOM, IT IS TWO HEART EMOJIS.

SHE LOVED IT.

SHE SAID YES.

OH THAT'S TRUE, IF YOU ARE BLACK, YOU WOULD BE PICKING

COTTON.

THAT IS SUCH A GOOD POINT, I WOULD LOVE TO GO TO PROM WITH

YOU.

MY PROBLEM IS THE NON SEQUITUR.

HE IS A KID, I WILL CUT A LITTLE SLACK ON THE RUNNING

OUT OF SPACE.

RUNNING OUT OF A SPACE ON THE SIGN, I HAVE BEEN THERE.

I WOULD ARGUE IT IS TOO CREATIVE.

YOU DIDN'T NEED TO GO THERE.

HE DID THE DUMBEST THING HE COULD.

ON SO MANY LEVELS.

ROSES ARE RED, VIOLETS ARE BLUE, SUGAR IS SWEET, AND SO ARE YOU.

THAT DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING, IT DOESN'T RELATE SO MAYBE THAT

IS HIM LIKE, WHAT IS IT RELATED TO YOU GOING TO PROM BUT

PROVIDES A NICE RHYME?

IT DOESN'T EVEN RHYME.

IT IS JUST SO WEIRD.

IT IS ALMOST NOT RACIST AT A CERTAIN POINT.

THAT IS A REALLY INTERESTING QUESTION.

BUT, IT IS A SMALL STORY, BUT IT GOES TO SHOW THE MINDSET IN

SOME PARTS OF THE COUNTRY WHERE THEY READ THE SIGN.

LIKE BRETT SAID, HE PROBABLY TOOK 30 MINUTES TO WRITE IT,

THIS IS

STILL A GOOD IDEA.

STILL A GOOD IDEA.

APPARENTLY IT WAS BECAUSE SHE SAID YES.

THIS IS NOT A FEDERAL CRIME.

HE IS A KID.

IS IT EVEN RACIST?

IT CERTAINLY SOUNDS RACIST.

IF A 38-YEAR-OLD MAN HELD A SIGN AND WAS RUNNING FOR POLITICAL

OFFICE, THAT IS A DIFFERENT CONVERSATION BUT IN THIS CASE,

IT IS ALMOST SO DUMB THAT IT FEELS A LITTLE INNOCENT.

WHAT YOU THINK?

I DO NOT THINK IT IS INNOCENT, I THINK IT IS JUST DUMB.

I AM GOING TO MAKE A JOKE ABOUT COTTON PICKING, A TOPIC THAT I

AM ALWAYS THINKING ABOUT AND EVERYONE IS ALWAYS THINKING

ABOUT.

THIS IS SO GREAT, SHE IS GOING TO LOVE THIS PROM PROPOSAL.

MY INSTINCT IS, CAN WE GO TO THE PHOTO AGAIN OF THE KID HIMSELF.

SEE HIS SHOES, HOW HE IS WEARING THOSE TOP SIDERS WITH NO SOCKS

ON?

THAT MEANS HE IS EXTRA WHITE.

HE IS SUPER WHITE.

THAT IS EXTRA WHITE WITH A HIGH OF A SHORT.

THERE'S PROBABLY A PLEAT INVOLVED.

HIS APOLOGY WAS STUPID TOO. LIKE I AM SORRY IF I

OFFENDED YOU, WHICH IS NOT AN APOLOGY.

NEVER ACCEPTED THAT APOLOGY, IF I OFFENDED YOU.

IT IS JUST NOT A FEDERAL CASE, I AM KEEPING IT REAL

BECAUSE I HAVE DONE A LOT OF HIS DRUGS, NOT THE CRAZY SIGN, BUT

I WORE THOSE SHOES IN HIGH SCHOOL.

I DID, AND I CAN ASSURE YOU THAT I AM NOT EXTRA WHITE.

REALLY?

THEY JUST LOOK SO WHITE TO ME.

MAYBE IT IS AN EAST COAST THING AND THE BOTTOM LINE IN

ALL OF THIS IS WE TALK ABOUT IT SO THAT THE NEXT TIME SOME KID

IS THINKING OF DOING A SIGN THEY GO YOU KNOW WHAT?

MAYBE THAT IS A STUPID IDEA.

MAYBE PEOPLE, SOME PEOPLE WILL TAKE IT AS REALLY OFFENSIVE

AND MAY BE VERY LOGICALLY SO AND OTHERS WILL NOT BE SO OFFENDED

BUT FOR THE PEOPLE WHO ARE LEGITIMATELY OFFENDED, I DO NOT

WANT TO OFFEND THEM, UNLESS YOU DO IN WHICH CASE, THAT IS A

DIFFERENT CONVERSATION.

HE IS PROBABLY NOT THE MOST RACIALLY SENSITIVE HUMAN BEING

AND WE CAN EDUCATE THEM, THERE IS A ROBO CALL THAT WENT OUT

FROM THE SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION

SAYING:

TREVOR HARVEY OF THE LOCAL NAACP CHARTER SAID:

THEY SAID THAT THE SCHOOL BOARD IMPLIED THEY WERE GOING TO DO

JOINT TRAINING SIMILAR TO WHAT HAPPENED AT STARBUCKS WHEN THEY

SAID THEY WERE GOING TO HAVE A

SENSITIVITY TRAINING, WHAT IS IT, SUBCONSCIOUS BIAS TRAINING

IN COLLABORATION WITH LOCAL CIVIL RIGHTS GROUPS TO KIND OF

GET THE MESSAGE ACROSS THAT THIS IS NOT OKAY BUT LAST QUESTION.

DOES HE GO TO PROM OR IS HE NOT ALLOWED TO?

HE HAS TO GO TO PROM AND HIS CLASSMATES HAVE TO LOOK AT HIM

AND MAKE HIM KNOW THAT HE IS STUPID.

HE HAS TO SANDWICH BOARD THE SIGN.

DO NOT DO THAT.

DON'T BRING THE SIGN ANYWHERE, LET'S BE DONE WITH THAT A

I THINK HE NEEDS TO FEEL THE SHAME.

MY FINAL THOUGHT OF ON IT IS THE RIGHT WING WILL

SAY, I DON'T WANT TO BE SENSITIVE.

BUT THEY ARE KIDS, WE'RE SUPPOSED TO TEACH AND THE

RIGHT THING SO I THINK IT MAKES PERFECT SENSE FOR THE SCHOOL

TO SAY, LOOK, THIS REALLY HURTS A LOT OF PEOPLE AND YOU WANT

TO HURT PEOPLE?

IF YOU DO, THAT IS A DIFFERENT CONVERSATION, BUT IF YOU

DON'T, UNDERSTAND WHY IT IS HURTFUL AND THE HISTORY BEHIND

THAT AND WHY PEOPLE ARE REALLY LEGITIMATELY OFFENDED BY THAT

SO THAT YOU DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WHEN YOU ARE AN ADULT

AND ALAN THE WORLD BECAUSE IT CAN COST YOU A JOB, BESIDES

WHICH, CAN MAKE PEOPLE ANGRY AND AGAIN, I HOPE YOU DO NOT

ACTUALLY WANT TO DO THAT.

EGYPT 2018: SHOPING WITH CHILDREN AND WHAT MY CHILDREN EAT IN THE MORNING (English subtitles) - Duration: 19:54.

Employee of the store: Hello. Hello. Store Officer: In the store shooting is prohibited. You can not shoot?

Malak yesterday, when I fell asleep ... Do not pay attention to us now morning.

Malak yesterday, when she fell asleep asking the broccoli. We bought the broccoli the day before yesterday and she asked me to do a broccoli last night.

I say: Come tomorrow morning. She says, well, when I wake up tomorrow, make me a broccoli, I'll eat it.

I say, well. And she got up today did not forget. Malak: I said when we sleep, then the sun will come, we'll eat.

Yes, Malak said now we will sleep, then the sun will come and we will eat the broccoli

And I got up and did not forget. It was necessary now to cook broccoli in the morning. Well, how is broccoli, tasty? Malak: Uh-huh.

How do I cook broccoli? I throw rinse broccoli into the boiling water. And on a slow fire under the lid they are prepared for 5-7 minutes.

Then I put butter on the heated frying pan and fry the broccoli. Then I put pieces of cheese on top, close the lid. And everything will be covered before the cheese dissolves.

Do not forget to add water when cooking broccoli. What? Malak: Is there water? Water? Water, ok.

So this is our breakfast. By the way it's about porridge. So you can't make kids eat, what they do not want.

If they want to eat something, they do not want to, then they can not be forced to eat because it is necessary.

At us as earlier was (in our childhood)? Eat this here. Kids do not eat like that

On your recommendation, I bought muesli for children. Subscribers recommended to give muesli for the breakfast. That's how it looks.

Press mass with different fruits. Very not bad. But the kids are like that too, they do not eat it very much.

What else? Peanut butter. Deni loves butter for breakfast. Malak and Aya do not like peanut butter. I love peanut butter.

Cornflake is like cereal for breakfast. Cheese or sausage. Malak: I like sausage. Malak loves this sausage very much.

Finish the broccoli, then there will be sausage. So this is how we have breakfast. Malak she does not drink tea. Sometimes he drinks milk in the morning. SHe drinks water.

Dany drinks green tea necessarily. I'm drinking coffee. She does not drink tea very much, but drinks a little. For the company as they say.

Sometimes we cook eggs in the mornings, but rarely. Can make an omelet. I get up first. I get up when I do not go to school from 6 to 8 in the morning.

like this

And I drank coffee and ate a sandwich with peanut butter. Now there are a lot of vegetables and fruits.

Now there is everything and bananas, oranges, tangerines, strawberries. Those. full of everything. Vegetables all are constantly.

Now a lot has appeared just broccoli, salad. Cabbage is not common. Those. if you need to buy cabbage, you need to buy it in large markets

Such as Carrefour, where there are pre-eminent things. So here we have breakfasts.

We got to the store before Fatkhalla. All three children are with me. Malak: Hello !!!! Hey.

So we climb the excavator. So now we go to the store the four of us. Dany how are you? Malak: How are you? Fine.

take

Dany take it. I do not know which one. Take the chicken, not the vegetable. No way we can not unlearn us to eat noodles. Malak: I, I am.

We also wanted to take the pasta letters. Malak, and where were the pasta letters then? Dany: Not here, there's a Carrefour in the store. There is no pasta.

Malak reminded that you can take spaghetti. Aya: Galya, but you needed this. Now it is not necessary, normally. Aya: Is that normal?

Aya: Napkins. There are napkins. We need a dishwashing liquid. Aya: Here it is. We have a lot of shampoo, you can bathe and bathe.

What's next? Malak: Look, Gali, what puppies (toothbrushes). What else? What else? Malak: Here are some napkins. Napkins we have.

Malak: Here's Galya. Malak wants to take nail polish. What color will you take? Malak: I like this one.

This one is not beautiful. Take the pink one. Here such still is. Bright is. Malak: Let's take four. No, Malak's alone.

Malak: Here's the little one. Here, take the little one. Malak: I do not like it. Here is the red one. Malak: Red.

For those who asked what colors are presented in Egypt. These are the colors for hair. If someone is interested.

In occasion of masks for hair. Here such there are masks for hair. There are a lot of them.

Here is the sausage. Sausage took a small one. Next you need to take butter. Take 250 grams.

Next we will take yogurt. Let's see. And where are the yoghurts? A yogurt in that direction. Take it.

Now everything will fall. Oh thank you. Shukran. And what is it that she took? What are you going to eat alone? Take it yet.

Take them different. There's a pear with it. Here at the top is with strawberries. Malak what kind of strawberry yogurt you like?

Malak, what are you going to do with it? Malak: And ... What exactly are you going to take. Aya: There's a strawberry upstairs.

Which one? Such? Exactly or not? Well, take it, break it off. Take how much you eat.

We still need to take cheese and mincemeat a kilogram. Are there no pickled cucumbers? There are no cucumbers.

Let's get the cheese. 250 grams of cheese. That's the way there are olives. Now take the cheese and mince the kilo.

Here by the way here the condensed milk is on sale. Here, everyone here sells salinity. We need a forage kilogram.

By the way, it's very cool to find this bearded beard in the salad. Dany butter has already taken.

A minced meat where we take a kilogram? Denis kilograms of stuffing. Dany: Where? There probably. Malak: I want a rubber band.

This is apparently a layered dough. Malak took a rubber on her head. By the way it costs only 10 pounds. Something else you need to buy.

Here is the meat department. Here by the way meat is not frozen meat is sold. "Baladie" is called local. It is much more expensive.

Take a kilogram of stuffing. A kilogram of minced meat costs 105 Egypt. pounds.

The store told us that you can not take pictures. So we took extra salt cucumbers, kilograms of minced meat,

The store told us that you can not take pictures. So we took extra salt cucumbers, kilograms of minced meat, sweet.

Malak: And Lego. And they took small Chinese toys. Now we go out and go home. Malak: Hello everyone, we took a lego, juice.

She took a ketchup sharp. And Mayak took milk with strawberries. What did Dany take himself? Dany: It's nothing. You did not take anything at all? Dany did not take anything for yourself.

Now we all leave. So we bought everything we needed. Now we will come and do the chops with mashed potatoes.

We have not yet bought the vegetables. I forgot to say that we bought a cat food in the end in a very long time. There was a cat food dry.

We also bought vegetables: tomatoes, cucumbers. Kiwi by the way is one thing 2 Egypt. pound. Very inexpensive. We took 5 kiwis and each apple.

Apples are expensive. By the way here here are such clubs Playstation is, where they play. For boys, girls do not go there.

Those. there are TVs, consoles and guys sitting there playing. Music plays. All kinds of drinks are sold there.

We all went into the house. We will finish.

Here are bought in the store, these are small sets. Malak: Oh, horse. Oh, great. Very similar to Lego. There is no Lego, but see there is a horse.

Go collect. So what did we buy? Noodles, yogurts. This Malak chose. Dany: The fridge is empty.

This is the ketchup Aya chose sharp. sausage. Dell that we have? Next we have milk. On Dany, clean it up.

The most important thing that has not been for a long time is cat food. Here below is a cat. You have food.

Dany chose these yogurts. And this is what we have? Dany: Cheese. Then a dish washing detergent.

Denis chose these yoghurts. And this is what we have? Dany: Cheese. Then a dishwashing detergent.

We took a kilogram of minced meat for cutlets. While here we will leave. I'm going to make cutlets and mashed potatoes.

We took tomatoes, cucumbers. For 8 pounds of tomatoes. These are the tomatoes, the tough ones are good.

Sweet they took. She took herself such a cube of Rubik. It is worth only 6 pounds. Malak took herself an elastic band for her hair.

Malak to try on an elastic band. Day bring it for sweets. Here Malak took a nail polish. Dany is an assistant.

It's sweets. And what's next for us? Dany loves these cookies. Bread. And a pack of pasta.

And what else did they take? Dany: Apples and kiwi. Apples are called golden imported from Jordan.

And the kiwi is 2 gig. pound one thing. Very democratic. 5 kiwi for 10 pounds.

This Aya chose apples for herself. Apples here are quite expensive. In comparison with other fruits.

Because imported. When the season of Egyptian apples, then they are inexpensive. And such as gold and red, they are expensive.

Well, that's it. American apples are sold, right? They have got an American passport. I'm kidding. Well, all bye, bye.

# 35 // The dark side of #vanlife // family travel vlog // raised on the road - Duration: 7:19.

hi guys ! today we are going to talk about the five most

difficult things when you live in a 4x4 or a van but first clem will go

into the city with the kids do some grocery shopping and i am

taking a surf lesson so we will be back in an hour

we even found a little eiffel tower!

I would like to have an eiffel tower!

we finished our shopping, we are going to the parc now

I had fun with the kids, all 3 together !

I had a great time!

we're back at the 4x4 so my surf lesson

went pretty well, I'm kidding I got pretty bad

but it was so cool and we will show it in Sunday's vlog

the converted vehicle

is all about freedom the freedom to take the wheel whenever you want to, to

stop when whenever you want to, to leave whenever you're done with a place...

you do whatever you like and your house follows you everywhere it's

really great for us with children to always have everything we need with us

we love that vans and 4x4's are small you can go everywhere you like with them

you can visit cities very easily, for our trip it was essential to have

a 4x4 for this trip we also hesitated with a 4x4 van

but we finally went with this 4X4 that really goes everywhere and

gives us the freedom to explore wherever we want to

we have been able to explore every dirt road we liked !

So we are very happy with our choice and if we had to start over we would choose

exactly the same vehicle for South America if you follow us on

instagram you probably know that there is some kind on

vanlife fashion in which everyone shows all the glamorous about van life

today we want to talk to you about the other side

and about what we don't show when

post these beautiful pictures on instagram

what is that mart?

raisins !

you want to sit down?

one of the things we do not often say is that the campsites are not

always so glamorous, today we are not to bad

we are on a hotel parking lot so we have to fold and unfold because it's not possible

to have an open tent in the street

then there is the shower if we can call it that

when we're not in campsites we must shower with the water we have

we do not have much, we have 40 liters for the dogs and for

us so we do not shower

every day and when it's cold we do not even think about it

I'll demonstrate another time because we are all clean

but basically it comes out of here!

do not drink it !!

we forget about long showers and we have to keep water for the dishes

and for the dogs so we are always super careful

an other essential accessory

the shovel and not just to get the 4X4 out of the sand

for those who did not understand these are our toilets ...

when we want to visit cities, villages, less remote places

obviously we need campsites or hotel car parks

and sometimes when it's cold even hotels because here we are

with young children and how could we do it? it's not possible

then there are several levels... you have the cute little couple in their van ...

a cute family with two children in their van

but you can also have two adults two children and two big dogs in an

converted vehicle living in a small

space asks some organization and well it took us

time we adapt at least three months... it's very different to live in such a vehicle

and to go on a holiday with it... it's completely different and if we

break down... it shouldn't happen very often

unless if you just have no luck ! but if you break down

you no longer have access to your home... it happened to us once and we preferred

to take our time and try to repair it ourselves in a

campground rather than sending it to the mechanic, it was in bolivia

so we did not really know how that would go, we really wanted to have access to our 4X4 with all of our stuff

rather than booking an airbnb or a hotel

for several weeks we love this way of life we love to travel

this way with a converted vehicle we had a little trouble organising

everything but now it really is part of our

trip and it is thanks to our 4X4 that we were able to go everywhere and discover everything

that we discovered

we'll see you soon for a new video sunday you'll see martin

who knows how to surf... he stands up all alone in the waves it's just

amazing and then me... I fall a little bit but I'm going

try to stand up on at least one wave for you guys ! See you !

Node.js survey, GraphQL and how to hand code SVG: FrontEnd news (25 Apr'18) - Duration: 6:40.

Hi!

Let's talk today about Node.js survey results, a hand Code SVG and GraphQL.

I'm Anatol and you are watching the Good Parts of the Frontend development.

If this is your first time here, you wanna learn Frontend and JavaScript, start now by

subscribing and don't forget to turn on the subtitles.

[Music playing]

"Animation Participles in UI" by Brittany Layton is a series of fancy animations useful

for a great user experience.

Keeping them in mind when designing for user interfaces can greatly improve your product's

functionality.

You can read the details at Invisionapp blog.

If you're using React Native, have a look at a guide to implementing production-tested

multi-factor authentication in a React Native app.

In the Part 1 Nader Dabit describes the process using a real service, Amazon Cognito with

AWS Amplify step-by-step.

There are some videos too.

Julia Jacobs has posted an article namely "A slidedown menu in React".

This is a short tutorial how to create a React component and wrap it up with the React Transition

Group library in order to create a transition animation automagically.

React version 16.3 is already in production.

Bartosz Szczeciński has written a summary titled "What's new in React 16.3".

This is a reasonably extensive look at the new context API, new lifecycle methods, static

getDerivedStateFromProps, Strict Mode, and more.

If you're interested in what is coming next in JavaScript, pay your attention to the following

article "Private Variables in JavaScript" by Marcus Noble.

This is a look at some ways in which you could implement private properties.

[Music playing]

In the article "Local Authentication Using Passport in Node.js" by Paul Orac you can

find a tutorial about implementation local authentication using Passport, NodeJS, and

Express, and creating a MongoDB data store.

RisingStack has published survey results titled "Why Developers Love Node.js & what's their

main issue with it?".

Results of the survey of 539 Node developers covering why they love using Node, what they

use it for, and what the biggest problems they encounter are.

Being a Node developer you might be interested too.

In the article "GraphQL-to-MongoDB, or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Generated

Query APIs" you can get to know about a specific GraphQL's Use Case, when it is used as a

middleware for connection to a database in a more simple and secure way.

Flexbox vs. CSS Grid - What is Better?

In this video Jen Simmons explains the differences between two layout systems and when to use

which one.

The hardest part of learning a whole new technology system is understanding the big picture.

In this video Jen describes the overall big picture of CSS Grid and what all these terms

mean.

[Music playing]

One more informative article about CSS custom properties has been published by Ohans Emmanuel

and named "Everything you need to know about CSS Variables".

Here you can read about CSS variables' usage explained by examples.

Let me grab your attention to "30 Seconds of CSS", that is a curated collection of CSS

snippets, that you can understand in 30 seconds or even faster.

Staring from "clear-fix" and vertical alignment and ending with a text cutting by ellipses.

In my humble opinion SVG is underestimated.

In case you need a simple animated progress bar, you shouldn't use any JS library at all.

In this tutorial you'll learn how to implement it via just six JavaScript lines.

Let me share a brilliant and short tutorial for SVG mastering - "How to Hand Code SVG".

SVG being supported in every browser for years, therefore it's worth trying for your to

hand code small icons and visual touches without resort to graphic tools.

Headed to a job interview any time soon?

Last year I published the list of questions useful for self-preparation.

This time I propose almost complete answers to "Front-end Job Interview Questions" by

Yangshun Tay.

Here are some questions (and answers) worth being prepared for.

[Music playing]

If you like this video give it "thumbs up", share it with your friends, subscribe to the

channel and watch other episodes.

Thanks for watching and stay curious.

Hustling in Korea - From English Teacher to Model 영어선생님에서 모델까지, 한국에서 돈벌기 꿀팁! [Black in Korea] - Duration: 7:34.

"Eh man, I'm sorry.

You didn't get the job."

And I'm just like…

Oh my God.

I went and bought new clothes yesterday.

Hey guys, how's it going today?

It's your boy, Let's Go B. Jones.

And today, I want to talk about the three types of histling you can do in

Korea.

Well, kind of like the three I did.

As you know, I'm American.

I have…

I don't know… 3 degrees I guess.

A bachelor's, an associate, and a certificate in bio-technology.

Before I came to Korea, I used to be a scientist.

Making drugs for cancer patients.

But, that wasn't really fufilling for me.

I wanted a change in life, so I came to Korea.

And now I'm here doing this.

So the first type of hustle that I did was I came as a teacher.

You can come as a public school teacher or a hagwaon teacher - which is private school.

Or be a university teacher.

Honestly what you should strive for, if it's your first time coming,

get a public school job.

It doesn't matter where it is.

A public school job is going to 99.9 bazillion percent

be better than a hagwon teaching job.

Teaching 4 hours a day.

Like you're there from 9 until like 4:30.

You teach 4 x 40 minute classes.

Compared of being a hagwon teacher 9-6.

And you teach like 8x 60 minute classes.

Like you're teaching straight.

I don't even know if the math adds up because they put you on overtime and everything.

and it's miserable.

That's one hustle you can do.

If you really want to come to Korea., and have like a gap year,

and still want to travel and make money, being an English teacher is a good choice.

You get a free house.

You get free insurance.

You get a pension - depending where you're from.

Teaching is generally easy to some extent.

I'ts not for everyone, but it's a good option.

Another option is that you can always come as a student, but

that's a different thing.

After teaching for about three years, I decided I wanted a little change.

So for me, I went from making this amount a money

as a scientist.

And then I decided to become a teacher in Korea.

And then, I switched jobs again.

To this - Two!

The second hustle.

I started working at a bar.

I was a promoter in a bar.

In Itaewon at first.

Stuff didn't work out there.

With payment issues.

I wasn't getting paid on time, so I switched jobs.

To another bar.

And that was a good bar.

It was chill.

I did kind of like the same thing.

I was a promoter.

If you know how to do bartending, you can bartend.

If you know how to do a waitress, you can work in a restaurant or whatever

waitering or cleaner or whatever, but I'm outoging, so my job was to get people

into the club.

Don't judge me on this you guys.

So the first job was - every female I got into the club,

I got a cheon, 1 cheon.

And I was averaging about a 120,000 won a night.

And I only worked weekends from like 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.

So that was really good money.

I made enough to survive.

Like, barely enough money to survive.

Like, when I say barely enough money, I meant like

I pay my rent, I pay my bills and I had like a $100 to survive the month.

And I switched to the next job and it was salary.

and hourly salary.

Hourly salary.

Wow, I can't speak English.

How was I an English teacher?

But it was from 8 to like 4.

And…

I mean the job was good.

But I wasn't about that life.

Spending my entire weekends for $7/hour.

Some people like that.

Some people can work in a bar.

And some people can work in a restaurant.

I personally didn't like being out in the cold for that long.

Because it's freezing.

Or it was freezing.

And then… decided I needed a change.

So if you guys look at my progression In my life, it's been like

Kabam!

Ya!

Driving a Mercedize benz.

Honestly.

To bam!

I'm a teacher.

Driving a bicycle.

To bam!

I don't have a bicycle no more.

I'm taking the bus, and the subway.

The third hustle you can do in Korea is modeling.

Korea needs foreigner models.

They need all races.

All body types.

Everything, so if you're a big chubby dude, you can get a job.

If you're a big chubby girl, you can get a job.

If you you-bone thin… you big-muscular, you bald-headed,

you dreads, you got long hair, you got tattoos…

They need people for everyting.

You just got to out and look and find those jobs.

Sadly, I do not want competition, so…

Good luck!

I do modeling now.

That's my main hustle right now.

I'm enjoying.

I'm so happy.

In the States, as scientist I was happy.

Teaching I was happy.

But right now, I am super happy modeling and acting.

And yes, my pay, is fluctuating.

Sometimes, I get paid this much.

For this amount of work.

Sometimes I get paid this much for this amount of work.

As long as I make my minimum monthly requirment of money to live,

I'm happy.

The reason I can live like this When I was a scientist,

I poured all money into paying my student loans off.

And within my first year teaching, I paid my student loans off.

So I literally have no debt in life.

I'm not getting debt, but I'm not really gaining wealth.

But, I'm happy.

You don't need tons of money to be happy.

You just need like, a house, and like friends, and like

enough money to survive.

and you'll be happy.

If you want to come to Korea, and like a change in life,

maybe you're living at home and you have like a dead-end job,

you want something new and exciting, you want to travel and have a gap year…

There's three things you can do.

You can come become a teacher.

Teach on an E-2 (Work Visa).

You can come on an H-1 which is a Working Holiday Visa.

and work in a bar… have a good life.

You can also model on this.

You can become a model.

There's some visas you can do get some photos

send it to the agencies.

And you never know.

You can also come as a student, but… no one really wants to study.

Who wants school?

Those are three types of hustles you can do in Korea.

And if you need any help, let me know and I can

give you some tips.

So you guys know what to do.

Like, subscribe, share the video.

Comment.

And…

Fighting!

Oh my God.

I'm so salty right now.

I'm so McSalty.

Ok you guys, I'm going to tell you what just happened.

I'll tell you what just happened right now.

There was this modeling job that I really wanted, ok…

This why being a model sucks sometimes.

I love it, but sometimes, their like, "ya we got you for this job,

you're going to get this job, I'm going to let you know tomorrow."

And your like, "Wait…"

"I'll let you know tomorrow."

And they're like, Eh man, I'm sorry.

You didn't get the job.

And I'm just like…

Oh my God.

I went and bought new clothes yesterday.

I'm like counting on this money.

And I'm just like, oh my god, You guys…

Don't be a model, don't.

Become a teacher.

Starbucks Veranda Blonde Coffee Review - Duration: 4:23.

- Hey, welcome to Coffee Coffee Coffee,

your place for average Joe coffee reviews.

Today's coffee is a blonde roast, but that's not

where you make fun of blonde people.

(laughs)

(funky beats)

- So today we are reviewing this Starbucks Veranda blend.

- Hummingbird.

- What?

- There's a hummingbird on there.

- Oh, yeah, it's pretty isn't it?

- Yep.

- I had just, I didn't notice that until you said that.

Well, anyway, it's a blonde roast.

- Mm-hmm.

- Mellow and soft.

So blonde is, you know, like, the lighter roast.

- Right.

- Technically, that has kind of like more caffeine,

but not really.

- Hmm.

- It's kind of a thing, people think

that there's more caffeine, but, really,

it's the amount of coffee.

- So it's a lie.

- Right, well, kind of.

You can Google it.

- It's just more concentrated coffee?

- Well, right, the density of the actual coffee.

- You are my density.

- Yeah, so, anyway, if you're really interested,

you can Google it, but there's like, an explanation.

So basically, it's kind of all the same.

- Yeah.

- But, the question is, do we like it?

Should we talk about price while I make the coffee?

- We will.

We paid seven dollars for the 12-ounce bag.

It's a pretty good sale.

At Publix, I think it's $10 per bag.

- Pricey.

- Yeah.

But we don't pay full price.

(laughs)

Not that we have a special discount.

- No.

- We just buy the stuff that's on sale.

- Right, yeah.

- Although we should talk to Publix.

(laughs)

- No, I don't think after that review of their house blend

or whatever, they would ever cut a deal with us.

- Yeah, and their dark blend, dark roast.

- Yeah, anyway.

So what do we think about this blend?

So,

to me, it is very smooth.

Very mellow, Starbucks sometimes can have like a,

I don't know if I'd call it, maybe like a bitterness,

or something, you know, but this is very smooth.

I really like it.

- Yeah, this is different than the other Starbucks ones

that we've had, I think.

Well, obviously, it's a blonde roast.

- Right.

- Bud dum, chh!

(laughs)

- Yeah, when I was at Starbucks the other day,

I went, I had a gift card.

- Oh, okay.

- The guy was actually really really nice, and,

he recommended that I try, they do a

blonde Cafe Breve now.

Like, that's what I always get,

or a breve latte, is maybe how you'll have to order it.

- It's too confusing.

- Usually if you say Cafe Breve, they'll know.

But, sometimes.

- And if you don't know the answer

to one of their questions, they'll look down

their knitted wool hat at you.

(laughs)

- But, the point is, the guy was very nice, and he said

that the blonde espresso

has like a really smooth flavor.

And I see what he's talking about.

This is really smooth.

- Mm-hmm.

Yeah, I think I taste a little bit

of a caramel-y, little bit.

Like, it's like almost there.

- Yeah, I feel like this would be a crowd pleasing

kind of cup, you know.

Like if you served it to a group of people,

they'd be like, yeah.

It's a good cup of coffee, it's very smooth.

- Especially if you introduce it a certain way.

Oh, this is Starbucks Veranda blonde roast.

Then people will think they have to like it.

- Right.

- If they say they don't like it, then,

they obviously don't like coffee.

- Right, maybe, I don't know.

- We know some people like that.

- No we don't.

- I'm just kidding, she's not like that.

- I'm not like that.

Not a snob.

- I know.

But, overall, I think we would buy it again.

- Yeah, I would say, like, three donuts.

Because it is so expensive.

(whoosh)

- The price is high.

- Yeah, so, but it is good.

- The price is too high.

I think we all know what that's from.

(laughs)

Talking about Rent.

- Okay.

- That guy.

- Okay.

- Hashtag, know your meme.

- This is devolving into not a coffee review.

- I'm sure, if you're watching this,

you've had Starbucks coffee before.

Some roast at some place or something.

Did you love it, did you hate it?

Have you had a blonde roast, because it's our first time

having a blond roast.

Let us know in the comments below.

And, thank you for joining us.

Until next time.

- Keep grinding.

(light jazz music)
