"GEANNY TATTOO Reality Show" - episodul 4 - Duration: 13:26.

-Dude! Dude! Where are you?

Come with me? You commin'?

-Go finish with your client.

This is what I do every day.

This is my method of public transportation:

My left leg in combination with my right leg.

You move them and you reach places.

-Jordan! Jordan!

-Iordan! Come on Iordan, throw!

-Here's the catchy thing! -It was, no longer.

-You know we have to make something darkened, and not just a black spot…but it'll look..

-Yea yea, and….whatever you like, I have no pretensions.

Today's model is a bit hard for me, one of the most difficult I've ever made.

It's not because it's a big arm and I have to make a big model,

but because there's more than one tattoo in that area, and it's hard to find a model

that's very "filled" so that it includes all the elements on the arm.

It's a lot simpler, if you find something which has the lower part empty,

you automatically know when you find an imagine, it's like I need the lower part darkened and it gets easier

I start from top to bottom and find them. So here since they're a lot of scattered elements,

I have to fill up a lot.

-Either something like this….or this, but I think that It can work with this one.

-Yea, the other side is…

-I'll turn it around anyway.

-Isn't it too big? -Mno, it has to have the exact shape to fit the arm.

-The model is really nice. -Yea, you know I was really excited about these models 20 years ago.

-They were popular back then. -It didn't matter, it was like: "What do you want to get? Make me something that's awesome."

There are some covers that you do and, it's just one tattoo here, you know?

And that's way simpler, you find a model that's very darkened below and you're done,

but here the whole zone is filled.

There was a girl in my neighborhood doing tattoos,

she used to give me some advice and then I found Geanny.

…to right a wrong I've made about 20 years ago.

At that time it did not seem like a mistake.

To cover up…

-You have more than one.

-Yes, I have more mistakes, but at the moment I thought it was awesome.

But…I've evolved, it's been 20 years since then, but this was the first.

A flaming sword…

I found it really awesome back then…18 years old.

Exactly 20 years ago, my first tattoo.

It was that time period at Vasile Aaron when everybody wanted to be cool…

back in 98'.

At every corner block there were groups.

Through word spreading I found somebody and he had a catalog…

3-4 pages, I chose the best model.

A cover up means covering an old tattoo, I mean,

there are people who've had tattoos 10-15 years back and they don't regret having them,

they just want to get rid of those made back then.

I recommend not going to a beginner who started working on skin,

search for somebody who exercised before on synthetic skin, somebody who has at least a couple of months of experience.

Otherwise, you'll end up needing a cover-up…and that's not okay.

The best thing is to find somebody who knows what needs to be done.

It's a lot harder because I have to understand what that guy wanted to do here

and I have to search for the models quite some time, so I can cover what he has, and there is a risk in doing this.

A story with a friend, I had an incident on Semaforului street…

I was with a good friend of mine, we started talking to another group from the corner block,

they asked if we had a light and we said no…

they replied "Yea, thanks suckers."

And yea…it went downhill,

we went home, they came after us with chains, bats…and 2 weeks later,

through a friend's recommendation, I met with one of these guys...

and he made me this bracelet.

We're 3 tattoo artists here at the saloon, and I'm the only one left still doing cover-ups.

It's different when you have the skin clear, you can improvise,

you can add details…anything you want.

Instead, at cover-ups you are limited… you can't add too many details to a cover…

at least that's the case with me. Maybe there are others who can do it…all my respect for them.

-Well, stupid Cristi pulled my pants, he broke my patch.

-Why is he stupid? -And stupid Geanny… took it and put it on his pants!

-Oh so you're the all-knowing…

We had an experience exchange: his patch fit my hole.

And that's the story of how I patched my hole.

-I would like something like this…but half.

-Sure, we can find something you'll like. Got any preferences about who should do it?

-Well, I had this tattoo made by Dani, so I guess I'll stick with him.

-10th of May is okay? -10th of May? Let me check…

The following year I went in the army, figuring it's too deserted here to get another…

it was a mistake, they didn't turn out okay, they had to be re-made the 2nd time.

This one I made myself, and after this I realized it's time to stop cause' it's not working out.

There are some people who have recent tattoos, done like 2 or 3 years ago and they show up wanting a cover…

I find that a bit awkward because it's 2018 and you don't get the idea of a tattoo…

choosing a model, the artist, exactly what you are getting and then you get

this doorway to choose which tattoo artist is going to tattoo what you want.

All the time I've thought about this, if I die tomorrow I won't be sorry because I've done mostly what I wanted to do.

Now, I think that if I would have died then, I would have been sorry because now I'm married,

I have 2 healthy and beautiful children.

I live and work for them and life is way better than back then when I used to do anything I wanted.

Part 2 of life is a lot more beautiful…

ok if I got married at 20-22 years old, I would have surely divorced. I got married late, at 30, but until then I've done…

Many times, when you come home from work after 8 hours and I see my daughter jumping on the beds,

while singing or screaming, my son's screaming from the other room,

I stop, start laughing and realize this is what I live for.

It's something unique.

-Hello! What's up, lady? -I want to get a tattoo.

-You're 18 right? -Nooo…I'm 5.

-Oh, you're 5? I didn't notice… -I want to get a star over here.

-It's a tattoo that will fade away, when you're 18 then we can do whatever you want, any colour.

-Isn't there a needle? -No, we don't use needles for kiddies.

-Okaay.

-Wanna see a magic trick? -Yea.

-Hocus Pocus…what's the last word? Prepa…

-Ratus! And the star appeared. I have a star!

Beside the fact that you accept to make a tattoo with whatever model you think will okay, and for me to have the pretension of saying "No, do this one!"

It's clear that if I had my shoulder free, I wouldn't have made this, not here, not the other side.

But after having what I had to be pretentious…

-Yea it's starting to take shape.

Sadly we didn't get to finish the tattoo today because it's very big and a cover-up usually requires 2 or 3 appointments.

So we chose to stop here, we finished the black and gray part and there will be another appointment for grays.

Our client, since he is living in Germany, he had to leave and we'll finish the tattoo next time he returns.

Nobody should get a tattoo just to be cool.

This I do not recommend. All that I have on me now is my story and I do it for me.

I want to get my daughter here, my son here and many people asked why because they can't be seen there.

I do them for myself, not to be seen, and if I'm happy with the model I've chosen, I cannot regret.

Start on synthetic skin, not humans!

And I recommend going to somebody who has experience,

not at Nea' Caisa's house…

7 of the most common dreams and what your subconscious may be trying to tell you - Duration: 6:22.

7 of the most common dreams and what your subconscious may be trying to tell you

by: Jessica Dolores

Theres an ancient Jewish proverb that goes, An unexamined dream is like an unopened

letter. Dreams are our subconscious way of reaching out to us. It tells us what

are hidden fears, aspirations, and needs are. It tells us the state of our mental health

in much the same way that a green traffic light tells us its okay to drive down the

road.

Dream expert Dr. Clare Johnson lists seven of the most common dreams and their meanings.

Teeth falling out This dream is usually associated with insecurity, instability, life

changes, and loss. It can also mean we can no longer conceal our feelings, no matter

how hard we smile or pretend that all is well. So when you dream that your teeth are falling

off, its about to ask yourself. Are you enjoying what youre doing? Are you where

you want to be? If not, its time to make a change.

Flying This may have something to do with powerful sexual and creative energy. Its

associated with freedom and self-confidence. The question is, how are you flying? Are you

flying smoothly, or struggling on air? If youre soaring without a care in the world,

congratulations! Youre in the best place you can be. But if youre struggling, ask

yourself: In what area of life am I sinking? Running away This is the stuff nightmares

are made of. A bad guy is running after us. A monster is chasing us down a dark tunnel.

A beast is trying to overtake us in the jungle. But our feet are rooted to the ground. Or

theyre moving so slowly and theyre turning to jelly. For all the dreadful feelings they

inspire, nightmares are gifts that force us to face subconscious fears. In a dream state

as it is during wide-awake times, we have the power to confront the monster and give

our dreams a happy ending. So ask yourself: What am I running away from? Whats scaring

me? How do I deal with my fear? Buildings and vehicles Dreams paint a

picture of our health, or lack of it. Buildings and vehicles often represent the body. So

dreaming of a gleaming car, a shiny and a state-of-the-art skyscraper could mean were

in the pink of health. A run-down house, an old, neglected hangar and a battered car,

on the other hand, can speak of poor health. Ever dreamed of driving a car with faulty

brakes? Johnson says this could be a sign that you cant slow down in your drive to

work harder and do more. It could mean that its time to go slow and take a break. So

help yourself. Try dreaming of the plush house youve long wanted to get, or driving the

car you always wanted. You just might wake up with a smile on your face.

Partner cheating This doesnt literally mean your partner is unfaithful. It could

mean youre shortchanging yourself. Ask yourself in what way you feel cheated. If

you think your dream is related to your partner, ask yourself if your significant other is

letting you down. Are both of you happy, or do you need changes in your relationship?

Relive your dream and imagine interviewing your unfaithful partner. Ask why he or she

is misbehaving. This dream interview can reveal important insights.

Spiders and other bugs These creepy crawlies are common in dreams, and their meanings can

be highly personal. A spider means one thing to an insect enthusiast, but another thing

to someone who wants to avoid the creature. Those who dream of bugs must ask themselves

whats bugging them. Recall your feelings. Is the bug cute, or is it scary? Is it weaving

a beautiful web or is it bothering you? If youre stumped, try recalling the main dream

image. Describe what it is aloud, as if youre talking to an alien from another

planet. If you say something like, Its a nasty bug which I dont want near me,

it could mean something is bothering you, and you want to avoid it. Could it be an unpleasant

co-worker or a difficult neighbor? Waves The ocean usually represents unconscious

processes. Dr. Johnson says she knows her life is about to change when she dreams of

tidal waves. When you dream of huge, sparkling tidal waves from the ocean, find out if youre

scared, fascinated, excited or resigned. Are you standing on the shore as the wave approach,

or are you watching from a safe place? Are you frantically running away from it, or admiring

how the sun kisses the tips of the waves? Is the water inviting or revolting? Speaking

of waves, Womans Day suggests recording the sound of ocean waves and playing softly

as you sleep. Youll wake up feeling relaxed and refreshed the next day.

Dreams show us clear images or our lives which we fail to see when awake. Thats why theyre

keys that unlock a wealth of knowledge about ourselves, and what makes us happy. Interpreted

well, they can point us the way to a fuller, more contented life.

Diamonds and Dominos: Cuba's Love of Sports - Duration: 11:49.

DREW VO: I'm Drew Scanlon.

I'm exploring the world through the lens of games, and doing it with the

support of people like you on Patreon.

Help us out at patreon.com/clothmap.

To my American mind, Cuba is practically synonymous with baseball.

This small country of 11 million people has produced numerous professional players who

have become household names across the embargo lines in America.

Cuba and baseball are so closely linked, the mere sight of soccer fields in surveillance

photos was enough to point to foreign involvement during the Cuban missile crisis.

In the words of Henry Kissinger, "Cubans play baseball, Russians play soccer."

What makes Cuba's baseball heart tick?

And is sport truly separable from politics?

To find out, we spoke with Roberto, a former principal of a sports training school.

We met at Sports City in Havana, a popular-- and massive--sporting facility that's open

to the public.

ROBERTO: Here in Cuba, everybody likes sports.

It is difficult to know a person that doesn't like sport.

The practice of sport is good for health.

But it's good to enjoy yourself, to get together, to have a time together, to put

down the…

Most of the time, it's to do what you want to do.

We have baseball as national sport.

Since we are a child, we watch on the television, we watch baseball.

DREW: As a child, where would you play?

ROBERTO: Here, sometimes, and there, and there.

Anyplace.

Including on the street too.

DREW: Do children play baseball in school?

ROBERTO: No, not baseball.

Baseball needs more time, more resources, more space, and our schools... not every school

has space for that.

In every province, we have an academy, baseball academy.

These teams have games to determine who is going to be in the national team and represent

Cuba out of here.

Olympic Games, Central American Games, Pan American Games, the world championship…

And everybody is waiting, "who is going to be the first base?"

"Who is going to be the shortstop?"

Everybody is talking that.

DREW: In America we have players from Cuba. How do they go from Cuba to America?

ROBERTO: Oh, that's very, very, very interesting.

It is not easy because they have to put away the Cuban nationality in order to play there.

If you continue being a Cuban man, you can not play in major leagues.

Some of them do it, because they need to prove themselves.

When you are in other leagues, like Panama, Japan, Korea, Italy… they are not strong leagues.

You learn nothing.

You go to teach, not to learn.

But when you go there, you're going to learn.

And you are going to show that you are good, that you can be the best too.

DREW: And they can't come back.

ROBERT: No, they can't come back because if they return back, they cannot continue playing there.

Some people there are making great efforts to eliminate that problem.

They were here, where you are standing, they were here.

It's politics.

Sports is not a thing to blend with politics.

Baseball is sport.

Nobody's thinking politics, nothing.

Only baseball.

Everybody relax on Sunday, participate with friends and family, in sports, in games...

social games included.

Some like to play baseball, some people like to play domino.

That's Cuban life.

We can be playing domino all the night and then in the morning go to work.

We can do it.

Not with him, because he need to drink to play domino.

ALFREDO: No, it's not true.

Ron o agua?

Rum or water?

JESUS: Water!

I'd like a water!

ROBERTO: Hey, hey, wait.

First of all, how much?

DREW: How much?

ROBERTO: Yeah.

CAROLINA: He wants to bet.

DREW: Of course he wants to bet with me!

DREW VO: Dominos.

A Cuban staple.

And, as I would soon learn, a seemingly simple game that is deep with strategy.

CAROLINA: You have to lose as much number as you have.

DREW: And if you can't play, you pick one?

CAROLINA: No no no.

If you can't play, you pass.

DREW: When is the round over?

CAROLINA: When the first person who wins…

DREW: Gets rid of all their dominos?

CAROLINA: Yes.

DREW: When you're deciding which one to play, how do you decide?

CAROLINA: I try to lose as much points as I can, and then I try not to lose all the

numbers.

So I can stay always without passing myself.

DREW VO: In other words, you want to get rid of as many dots as you can, but also try to

leave a variety of numbers in your hand so you don't get shut out.

Playing with a teammate across the table adds another dimension.

DREW: How do you strategize with your teammate?

Can you talk about your hand?

CAROLINA: No. DREW: No. Okay.

CAROLINA: Usually you have to see the way that the other one is playing, and then from

there you have to guess what is the strategy that you both are gonna do.

DREW: So the first domino you play is kind of a signal to your teammate.

CAROLINA: Yes.

"This is probably what I have the most."

DREW: So if you have all the fours, it's good because no one else has them.

CAROLINA: Mm hmm.

DREW: Okay.

CAROLINA: There are ten of all the numbers. So they count, so they know what are the pieces

that they have left.

DREW: If you get good enough, you can start to know what other people have.

CAROLINA: Mm hmm.

DREW: Yeah?

ALFREDO: Yeah!

DREW VO: Experts by now, Joey and I gave it our best shot.

JOEY: What's the point of this game?

To get rid of as many as you can?

DREW: Yeah.

And each dot counts as a point, so you want to get rid of the high stuff.

DREW VO: The theme of the night was "knock knock," the sound of our knuckles on the

table signifying that we didn't have any playable dominos.

EVERYONE: Knock knock.

DREW: So I think I'm getting it.

If you have a lot of one number, you want to hold them until the late game, and then

screw the other team.

There was a point, they didn't have any twos, and I had a six and a two, and I could

have played the six and blocked them from playing any more twos!

And then hope that Joey had the twos.

JOEY: Alright, I think I'm getting it.

DREW: Still, we were rookies, and got smoked.

JESUS: I'm sorry.

I'm sorry.

DREW: You guys cornered the fours and the nines!

JESUS: I'm sorry, my friend.

DREW VO: Despite our poor performance, we had a good time.

But it's easy to have fun in a place like Cuba where everybody is welcoming.

Back at Sports City, a group of coworkers was even kind enough to let the American

have an at-bat.

DREW: I feel like I still remember all my Little League base-running strategy.

This appears to be just a group of friends.

This is not a team or anything.

So I fit right in!

ROBERTO: You can hear what you want, but this is the form we live.

As you see, nobody gets angry because of nothing.

Only play, and enjoy.

DREW: Even when someone like me comes and interrupts their games.

ROBERTO: You participated as a Cuban family, no?

"Let me play!"

"Okay!"

"Hey, you want to pitch?

Come here!"

That's Cuban, that's Cuban people.

Always.

DREW VO: Running around those bases, and sitting around that table, felt so familiar.

The feelings of competition and teamwork that emerge from games are practically a language

unto themselves.

And despite the differences between us, it's a language we all speak.
