Grand Prix races, like today's Formula 1 and

then they did these record runs too.

Basically to show how big your balls were, right?

Yeah so us at Mercedes-Benz and the competition was

Auto Union at the time, which is today's Audi.

They had the 16-cylinder engine. – Yeah and this one here

is the current record holder. This

vehicle, this very vehicle,

this chassis. The body is hanging in the museum.

Since 1938 it holds the world record on public roads.

You have to recognise that these guys were true heroes. And at the time, they

So the thing that I find most fascinating

is how delicate the construction of the front axle is.

If it's so thin, I guess it must be made of a type of Inconel, it must be some type of

extreme steel. – A type of what? Inconel? What's Inconel?

It's a very, very … OK so it's an alloy of very hard steel.

Look at it, I mean, you've got to think,

the forces that act on it when you're doing 430 km/h,

that's some serious force

acting in this direction and in the upwards direction.

And the dampers are these oil… they're torsional … ? – That's right.

They're not shock absorbers, rather they

just take up a little of the shock

and then it drives like this … – And sort of dampens it.

It's not like in the modern day where the car seeks contact with the road,

it drives in really quite a swingy way. – Almost like it's just following. – Exactly.

It just reacts. – And then at 430, you know that yourself,

with these tyres, imagine the flexing of the tyres.

I mean, the guy driving this – this might not be the most polite way of putting it –

but his balls wouldn't even fit in this hall.

OK so I'd now like to show you the bodywork so you get a real impression

of what the whole thing actually looked like. So here we have this

extremely delicate front-axle technology,

but the bodywork is even more delicate than that.

So let's head off over there through the discreet side door.

This one here isn't the exact one from that car, this one here is from the

W 25 record-attempt car, which is a slightly different vehicle,

but you can see just how delicate it is. – Matthias! – What? – Hands off!

You look with your eyes. – He's like: "Oh that looks a bit damaged."

Just 0.3 millimetres material thickness and the bigger problem is that it's magnesium.

That means: ouch, ouch, ouch.

So, you can see … – It's slowly dying over the years. – We've pinned it down with a

lightweight substructure so that we can show the bodywork as it is.

It reminds me of aeroplane construction. Totally. In essence, the main focal points were

rigidity and weight. But you can really see just how delicate it is,

and the problem with magnesium is that when it starts to burn. It burns blue. And boy does it burn.

OK so that there used to look like this. – That's right, yes.

So that's a completely rebuilt model then?

No, the chassis is the original one. The technology which you can see underneath,

including the steering wheel etc. comes from the bodywork of that one.

We just completely rebuilt the bodywork.

I would love to jump in there and drive that thing at 432 km/h

between Frankfurt and Darmstadt. I would so love to do that right now.

How good does that look? – You love classics, don't you?

I love new cars too,

but yes I do also love classics. Always.

But some people have wrong informations about skin care

So i make plan to talk about the truth of skin care today!!

Number 1

All of korean's skin is perfect

It's not that all of korean's skin is perfect

Of course skin condition can be different depending on race

like weak skin, thick skin.....

But it doesn't mean korean's skin is good

For example, me!!!

if i care about my skin less than before even a little bit

i will get spot and trouble directly......

This is just typical stereotype about korean!

Number 2

The more expensive cosmetic is, the more cosmetic has high quality

Expensive cosmetic has not high quality always

Cosmetic can be expensive. Because of a lot of marketing

And brand name value can make price be expensive too

So high price doesn't mean high quality always

When you take good cosmetic for you

You should consider your skin problems and type of your skin

Also it is good to check ingredients in cosmetics

Number 3

Pore can be small with by making efforts

Our natural pore size cannot be changed....

I have big size pores after my teenager period

So i saw doctors a lot to fix my pore size

But all of doctor say that "Natural pore size will not be changed"

i have no choice to live my natural pore.....

If your skin is dry and no sebum, you may have small pore size

But if your skin is oily and a lot of sebum, you may have big size pore

If you take pills to control your sebum

Your pore can be small size TEMPORARILY. Because pores make sebum less than before take pills.

But this is TEMPORARILY NOT ETERNALLY

but if you stop to take your pills, your pore size will be original size again..

And Some people ask me this question too "If i erase my blackhead with blackhead pack, my pore will be bigger?"

Whatever you do your pore size will not change eternally!! pills and pack is just temporarily!!!

We have to use skin care products in same collection and same brand

There are a lot of collections in one brand

So do we have to use same collection products for skin care?

No you don't need to do that

Actually all of my skin care products's brand and collection are different !! like toner, emulsion, ampoule, essence....

You can mix skin care products collection as you want depending on your skin conditions

Like A brand A collection toner + B brand A collection Emulsion + A Brand B Collection cream

You can make your skin be perfect with just only cosmetic?

The role of cosmetic is " helping" for skin care

Cosmetic cannot change your skin oneshot!!

If you wanna change your skin condition be better one shot

You have to use medicine not cosmetic....

Definitely to change your skin condition be better quickly as you want, you hould see a doctor!

Cosmetic just help to care about our skin by ourselves

Number 6

You can get white skin by using brightening cosmetic

A lot of people ask me about that

"If i use brightening products, can i be white ??"

We have our own range about skin brightening level each other

Our skin color can be changed depending on Exposure to ultraviolet light in each other's range (if your skin is exposed to UV a lot you will be dark, if not, you will be bright)

So brightening product just help to find your own bright skin not make white skin!

Brightening cosmetic cannot change your own skin color

Number 7

The end of washing face, it is good for skin to wash face with cold water

If you finish to wash your face with cold water, you may feel your skin be firming and brightening

This situation is just temporarily because of contraction of blood vessel by cold water

Cold water in the end of washing your face cannot make your skin be firming

Actually extreme temperature changing can make your skin be sensitive

So it is good for your skin to use warm water for washing your face

Eye cream is necessary?

I never use eye cream in my life

Maybe i think someone already know that

Ingredients and function of Eye cream and normal cream is not that much different

If you have a lot of wrinkles around your eyes

It is much better for your wrinkle to use common cream a lot than eye cream

Because eye cream's quantity is so small and soooo expensive

So we have to be careful to use eye cream not too much

So just buy good cream and put on your skin as much as you want! this is much better for your wrinkle

Number 9

You have spot and trouble because you don't wash your skin so well???

Of course maybe if you don't wash your face so well, it can provoke spot and trouble

But we can't say that "you have spot because you don't wash your face" i think a lot of poeple who has spot and trouble have listened this rumor a lot from other people!

How much this is soooo sad rumor !!!

Actually someone who has a lot of spot and trouble care about washing face a lot more than other people

Because anyway they know they have spot and trouble!!!

The reason of spot and trouble is not just only cleansing problem

The main reason is just hormone in teenager or inherent skin conditions from your family

So to provoke spot and trouble is not just only cleanisng issue

Whatever 1 Mask Sheet Pack per day is good!?

You should know something about it

Even if you put on your skin a lot of good products for skin care, it is not to make your skin be better always

Our skin have ability to repair and treat our skin by our selves

But if you put on your skin too much nutritions everyday, your skin will lost the ability to repair and treat your skin by themselves

So if you wanna use mask sheet pack everyday, it is goo for your skin to use "moisturizing mask sheet pack"

But when you handle maks pack effect on wrinkle, brightening, and nutritions

It is enough for your skin to use 1~2 times per week

The Courteous Elephant Are you still heroic if you caused the chaos?

A story out of West Bengal, India had me pondering this, but if you ask Dipak Mahato and his

family, who were enjoying dinner one night when a tusker crashed through the bedroom

of their 10-month-old baby, the answer is probably "yes."

After ransacking the Mahato home, the elephant stopped when it heard the cries of Dipak's

baby girl, who became trapped under debris.

Before the patriarch could rescue his child, the tusker removed the stone and brick to

keep her from being crushed.

The Surprise Doe While trying to mug a woman in Oxford, Ohio

in 2012, an unidentified male attacker received the fright of his life.

He had her where he wanted her, in the darkened field, far enough away from civilization so

that they wouldn't be heard.

She fought against him, but he was too strong for her to break free.

It was a terrifying scenario, but luckily for the victim, Mother Nature wasn't too

far away.

In the midst of the struggle, a nearby sleeping deer was startled awake.

In its fright, it jumped up and ran away, startling and scaring off the attacker in

the process.

If you ask us, that deer is an unrecognized hero!

The Mercy of Kahn Do you doubt that dogs are man's best friend?

Then just listen to this 2007 incident from Atherton, Australia.

To mother Catherine Svillcic, it looked like the four-legged newcomer to the family, a

Doberman Pinscher named Kahn, was acting aggressively towards 17-month-old Charlotte.

The pooch had been nudging the baby away from the family's Australian garden, but when

she refused to move, he grabbed her by her diaper and tossed her more than 3 feet over

his shoulder.

When Catherine rushed to protect her baby from the hound, she found that Kahn was actually

keeping Charlotte away from a King Brown snake.

Jambo, the Eighth Wonder Jambo was just minding his business one day

when he heard quite the raucous nearby.

A five-year-old boy, Levan Merritt, had fallen into a gorilla enclosure at Durrell Wildlife

Park on the island of Jersey and was rendered unconscious.

This was Jambo's time to shine, his opportunity to really do something with his life; and

so, while the gorillas in the enclosure grew anxious of the boy, Jambo put himself in front

of Levan to protect him until help arrived.

Amber and Ningnong Elephants are pretty awesome… you know,

when they're not tearing down houses.

While on holiday on the Thai island of Phuket, Amber Mason had made close friends with a

baby elephant named Ningnong.

For the eight-year-old girl, that friendship would wind up saving her life during a tsunami.

The two were enjoying a day out by the sea, Mason riding her new friend, when a deadly

wave came in.

As if protecting one of his own, Ningnong ran as far as he could before he was forced

to brace against the rushing water.

There, he waited until Amber was rescued by her parents.

Doggy Heimlich I really, really didn't want to laugh at

this story, but the image is just too much.

It was a quiet Tuesday for Toby the Golden Retriever and his human companion, Debbie

Parkhurst when the 45-year-old woman started choking on an apple.

As she pounded on her chest to remove the obstruction, Toby sprang into action, hopping

on his hind legs to bring her to the floor.

Then, as if trained to save humans from their own gluttony, he started jumping on Parkhurst's

chest.

Ok, ok..

Miraculously, the apple dislodged and Toby became a national hero.

Parkhurst would receive calls from "Late Show with David Letterman" and "Good Morning

America" to talk about the incident.

Winnie the Monoxide Detecting Cat Okay, maybe not the most thrilling Circus

sideshow… but Winnie certainly is a miracle cat, at least to her family, the Keeslings.

Eric, Cathy, and their son Michael had been asleep when a gas-powered water pump in the

basement started to emit carbon monoxide.

As if detecting the deadly, odorless gas, their cat, Winnie, ran to Cathy and started

meowing loudly.

The feline's screeches eventually woke her human companion, who awoke with early signs

of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Don't have a carbon monoxide detector?

Simply get a cat!

… But seriously, you should probably just get a carbon monoxide detector.

Playing "Fetch" Imagine Brenda Owen's surprise when she

spotted a wheelchair sitting alone on the riverbank of the Elwy in St. Asaph.

It probably didn't compare to when she then found a woman stuck in the water and unresponsive.

Unsure of how to react, Brenda turned to her walking companion, her Labrador Retriever,

Penny.

"Fetch!

Fetch!"

Brenda called to her dog and, believe it or not, Penny knew exactly what to retrieve.

The Labrador grabbed the woman and pulled her onto the riverbank.

She was unconscious, but thanks to Penny, Brenda and another passerby were able to call

emergency services.

Fiona's Trusty Steed Did you hear the one about the horse and the

cow?

Oh, no, it's not a joke.

It's an actual story about a horse that totally beat up a cow to save her owner.

Fiona Boyd worked frequently with cows, but never had she experienced the horrors of an

enraged bovine.

In July of 2014, while trying to separate a calf from its mother, Fiona saw the terrifying

side of cows when the mother knocked her to the ground and attempted to crush her to death.

Thankfully, Fiona had luck on her side and a trusty steed named Kerry Gold backing her.

The horse started to kick at the cow, releasing Fiona from her impending doom.

Dick Van Dyke's Porpoise Saviors A resident of California, it would make sense

that actor Dick Van Dyke would have a surfing horror story, one that ended his desire to

hit the board ever again and gave him a newfound appreciation of porpoises.

During a surf-sesh off the Californian coast, Van Dyke dozed off under the mid-day sun,

only to wake up to the empty deep blue surrounding him.

Fearing he had drifted too far off, he paddled with the swells.

Then, fins broke the surface of the Pacific, panicking the star; but rather than hungry

sharks, they belonged to porpoises that, according to him, "pushed [him] all the way to shore."
