Hello, my name is Melda, and I'm from Nairobi Kenya.

When Melda was only 3 years old, her father passed away leaving her and her family all

alone.

I was lonely when my father passed away.

While Melda still lived with her mom and brothers, without a father it was still hard for them

to afford to eat and for Melda to go to school.

When she got older, Melda had the opportunity to come to the United States to be part of

a kids choir made up of other orphans.

It's called His Little Feet.

Christa and Mike take care of the kids choir.

His Little Feet is made up of boys and girls from all over the world.

Places like Kenya, Ethiopia, India, Haiti.

His Little Feet exists to help, love and train orphan and vulnerable children worldwide.

All of the children in the choir have lost or have been abandoned by one or both of their

parents.

When the kids first arrived they were a little scared and lonely being away from home.

But soon they all had tons of friends in the choir.

The good news is that even though Melda and her family had lost their father, God was

there for them.

In the Bible, book of Psalms, chapter 27 verse 10 it says, "The Lord will hold me close."

Melda knows that even when she's lonely, Jesus rescues!

I know I have a heavenly Father that loves me and watches over me and will never leave

me alone.

Melda had many reasons to be sad but God has given her every reason to have joy.

Jesus didn't abandon Melda and he won't abandon you!

When you're lonely, Jesus rescues!

Don't be lonely.

God is always with you.
