Waching daily Jul 27 2018

thank you yeah it's a pleasure to be here yeah I don't know where to start

but start right where you are man it has been never mind a darkness but

that darkness has changed well darkness is everywhere that light

isn't hmm and lights easy right just got to get in the vicinity of it my son he

transitioned great Mexico not easy for you great for him well it has been and

my family has been really surprised of how I'm dealing with it yeah because

today it happened it was a shock of course it was a numbness

that's my only child he had no wife and no children yeah he was like my rock but

my point now is when it happened they stayed two boats and everyone was

at the house because he was in a fatal car accident all by himself

on his way to work he had made to turn to better his life and everything but he

he was sort of his upbringing was more metaphysics

he wasn't introduced to a lot of religions but he was good on this

transition after the state troopers left when he had told me I heard a pulling I

felt the pulley saying you need to listen to Abraham right now you don't

need to do nothing else but go I said been listening to Abraham for the last

seven years but when it came to death I ignored it yeah for that particular day

before the crowd came in to see how I'm doing I plugged in YouTube and I started

listening the relief came like that

I'm not saying I didn't cry and it wasn't hurtful and I wasn't sad I was

devastated but on the other hand I felt a relief of joy like the pain subsided

that's a pretty good Rock I had three youtube videos I listened to by Abraham

and I went to sleep with it the day of his transition everybody was

amazed there was so many things happening even the minister said this

child have preached his own funeral because I was in a hunt for his baby

blanket because I wanted to hold him again and the pain and I cried but at

the funeral they gave me a blanket with his picture on it and ever since then I

started watching the signs when I will cry one time we're gonna interrupt signs

of what signs of his eternalness signs of his present signs of him having not

gone anywhere signs of his interest in you signs of his awareness of what

you're about the signs of your readiness to receive him signs of you

acknowledging the keeping of the promise you to him and him to you Esther

discovered that something that she wasn't looking for and didn't want to

look for when Jerry made his transition because what she discovered was she had

depended upon his physicality in a way that was not good for her and when she

could no longer do that in fact only when she could no longer do that did she

reach for where it really was and that's the same thing that's happening to you

one day she said in discomfort I can't find you where are you and once she

settled down a little bit got distracted by other things we said to her Esther

you've got to look for Jerry where he is not where he isn't he's not in the

blanket not where he was not where he used to be where he now is

and with that awareness came such relief because first it let her know he was not

gone next did let her know that she had access to him now you might think it's

strange because she of all people must know that there is something that is

non-physical she's been receiving Abraham in this way for a very long time

but her beliefs and here it is her beliefs your beliefs about who your son

is or was and Esther's belief about who Jerry was or is were not valid because

she saw him as temporary when he's not he's eternal she saw him as missing when

he was not he was present she saw him is not available to her when he was

actually more available than he had ever been to her she saw the relationship has

having been cut short when what it was was enhanced with new understanding and

the deepness and her richness beyond anything that they would have ever

accomplished together if they'd continued their physical relationship

it's such a nice thing it's our favorite thing when somebody you really care

about croaks

because for the most part it's the first time you really have a reason to look to

where it all is yes it's a good thing to feel the relief that you felt it's a

good thing to understand how you fit into the whole of all of this it's such

a satisfying thing to be physical and allow your non-physical nough steuby at

the same time because the more you get into that receiving mode son was good at

this the more you get into that receiving mode the more delicious drives

you have in traffic the more awarenesses you have of all kinds of things the more

delicious your day-to-day experience becomes when you open yourself to the

fullness of who you are that's when you really begin to live your life in the

way that you've intended to do I want to say comment on two things when you said

traffic and I was telling my sister and my girlfriend which got me here she's

been very good and sometimes I get on 85 on my way to work and 85 is very busy

and there's no traffic it happened for like a month no traffic

I mean traffic in the opposite lane but in my lane there is no traffic all the

ways I get to my last exit not one time but sometimes it'll happen like eight or

nine times that month so earlier just a moment ago we are talking to you about

this alignment you see the knowing of where you are in relationship to where

you want to be is always known by source by your son by Jerry by everyone who you

care about and who knows you and we're not just talking about the literal

transfer on Interstate 85 from one place to another but we are talking about that

but we're talking about from wherever you are to wherever you want to be on

every subject in the world and so when you allow yourself to find consistent

vibrational Res with who you really are so that you're

tuned in tapped in turned on and good at following the impulse when it's offered

then your timing becomes really really really really good and timing matters in

the subject of deliberate creation because you are all here lots of people

with lots of different beliefs and lots of different intentions loss of

different creation going on all around you and yet every single one of you has

the ability the wherewithal to create exactly what you are wanting in other

words the resourcefulness of this environment is beyond our ability to

describe it to you how can this possibly happen how can you all be here at the

same time all be different in what you're wanting and I'll be zigging and

zagging and us be able to make the unequivocal promise to you that each and

every one of you can get everything that you want and the answer to that is

universal timing the answer to that is being in the right place at the right

time with the right vibration with the right receiving mode for the right

understanding for the right for the right that's what it's all about timing

is about Law of Attraction we've enjoyed this interaction more than we can

explain to you in words we are very much looking forward to what unfolds in your

experiences in the next immediate time because you are in a new vibrational

place of receiving you've shifted and you may be consciously aware of that by

the relief that you feel you may have had some physical sensations our friend

did a good job of sort of describing what that heart-opening experience is

like you may have had different chemicals released in your body because

you were in a different place of receiving there are all kinds of things

that took place in this room that were beyond the words that came from Esther's

mouth into your ears and what that means is you are vibrationally different than

you were and what that means is your point of Attraction is different and

what that means is your rendezvous points and your timing with all kinds of

things is going to be heightened and we are

about you paying attention to that because words don't teach but life

experience sure does and as our expectation that in the

immediate future talking about today and tomorrow in the next in the next day you

are going to understand your worthiness in new ways there is so much love here

for you there is so much love there is so much love here for you there is so

much love here for you so much and for now

Menudo Recipe (Filipino Food) - Duration: 3:27.

Hey guys, today we're gonna show you how to cook Filipino menudo, not to be mistaken with Mexican menudo.

Unlike the Mexican soup, our menudo consists of pork that's cooked in a vinegar and tomato sauce stew.

To make our Filipino menudo

there are two parts. For the first part, start by taking two pounds of pork butt and cutting it into bite-size strips,

roughly one and a half to two inches long and half an inch wide.

When you're done slide your meat into a pan and

then add half a large diced onion,

2 cloves of minced garlic,

1/3 of a red bell pepper, 2 teaspoons of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper.

Afterwards mix everything together to evenly disperse all of the ingredients into the meat.

Next pour in 1/4 of a cup of vinegar. For our recipe we used the Datu Puti brand, which is a cane vinegar.

Then pour in half a cup of water.

Place a lid over your pan and bring everything to a soft boil.

Also, make sure not to mix the ingredients before it reaches a soft boil. Otherwise the dish might have a strong taste of vinegar.

Once at a soft boil set your stove to medium low heat and simmer everything for 30 to 40 minutes.

When it's done go ahead and zhoosh it up a bit and

set it aside. For

the second part of this recipe, in a new pan, pour in 2 to 3 tablespoons of oil over medium heat.

Then throw in half a large diced onion and

saute it until it becomes translucent.

Next add in 2 cloves of minced garlic and continue to saute everything until the garlic is fragrant.

Afterwards drop in 2 teaspoons of annatto powder and

dissolve it in the oil.

Then add 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce and mix it in as well.

Now take your saute and pour it into your previous pan and

lightly mix everything together.

Then throw in three peeled and sliced red potatoes, or as we like to call them, baby patats.

Submerge the potatoes as best you can.

Then add two sliced hot dogs.

We used the filipino red hot dogs with the cheese in the middle, but you can use any regular hot dog.

Simmer everything uncovered for about 15 to 20 minutes so that the stew thickens.

Afterwards fork your potatoes to check if they're cooked.

Once they're cooked, add half a cup of peas and

the other two-thirds of your red bell pepper from earlier.

Give everything a good stir.

Typically raisins are added to bring sweetness to this dish, but I'm a raisin hater, so we're sweetening it with sugar instead.

So now sprinkle in one teaspoon of sugar, but you can add more if you want.

Finally just stir everything together and you now have yourself a yummy menudo!

It's talagang tasty!

Demo Talks Kizuna AI Performs With Hatsune Miku (I Called It... Kinda) - Duration: 5:17.

September 15th, 2018 is the day that Kizuna AI and Hatsune Miku become one at the Tokyo

Kabuki Girls show.

Not actually as one, but they are apparently a duet.

Tokyo Kabuki Girls will be held at Shin Kabuki-za in Osaka on September 15th~16th.

Ticket pre-sale is currently live.

So yeah…

I've got some thoughts on this- oh, that was the news by the way.

Yep, that's all I could get.

And it's from the official source of Kizuna's facebook and on the TKG post… unless Kizuna

AI is just a major troll, which very well may be possible.

But just to poke the imagination, let me talk about my feelings of this.

I actually heard something about Kizuna AI being 2 years old on youtube, and I tweeted

something along the lines of- how dare you have over a million more subs than me.

And congratulated her for a job well done, while also asking if she'll ever do a Vocaloid…

I'd like to think that AI is able to pull off a great show.

I mean, for all I know, she could be a singer, backup dancer, or even stand up comedy!

Whichever way, with both Kizuna AI (I almost said Kizuna Akari…

I sense a conspiracy) and Hatsune Miku along with a bunch of other talented ladies who

are, by the way, in real life.

Last minute redo- Kizuna now has an original song out called Hello, Morning.

So… nevermind that whole other thing I just said.

She will be performing that song at the festival.

Here's to Kizuna AI being a virtual singer… that is actually voiced without vocal manipulation…

wait- what would that classify her as?

…how about A.I.Songstress – go ahead, go on everything and do a #AISongstress and

tell them Demo VD sent ya so I can get more subscribers and pass that 1,000 sub mark!

So, this is small- gonna do this more often so you can hear more from me!

And honestly… this is the 3rd reedited video in the past week…

I can't get a break! [outro]

Race bending is changing in the cosplay community - Duration: 4:14.

When it comes to a lot of characters that happen

to me, a lot of pop culture

They end up being white. And so, when ...

... people want to dress up, that are people of color

they have to end up being the black version of, like

Superwoman or the black version of Wonder Woman

It's this weird kind of thing they have to deal with

when it comes to being the different version of that

as opposed to being just the original

There is some backlash against

people kind of taking on

that race without having to pay

proper honor or homage to that race

I don't necessarily think that's the goal of cosplayers

Yeah, fortunately I have come across a few stories

where black women in particular are frowned upon

for cosplaying a character of a white background

It's just very unfortunate

I mean we're all here to have fun and enjoy it

so who cares?

Everybody's just expressing themselves creatively

That's what this whole program is about

is pop art and creativity

I thought about doing Wonder Woman before

But then I realized I didn't have to because

She has a sister who actually is black

And that's one of the really cool things

is that more and more as time goes on

We're starting to do that

We're starting to do that

I'm Kratos, who is a Spartan warrior

But, you know, I'm sorry, but he's black anyway

Because he's played by

two different voice actors who are black

T.C. Carson and Chris Judge

So for me, he's black

so I'm playing a black character

as far as I'm concerned

Do whatever you want to do and just kind of dive in

and give a different side to a look or a character

You've done Spider-Man

Oh yeah, I've done Spider-Man before

I've done ... the last Avatar

Just kind of ... I don't know

Whatever I really like I just go for it

I was Deadshot, Will Smith's character

So I was female Deadshot

So I took the basis of his character

but I also made it my own

I feminized it a little bit and went from there

Anyone can do it

And I think that just opens up more

opportunities for people

They can really be whoever they want

gender bending, race bending, it doesn't matter anymore

When These Boys Saw A Girl With Down Syndrome Being Bullied, They Knew They Had To Step In - Duration: 4:52.

girl with Down syndrome saved from bullying be sure to subscribe to did you

know and hit the bell so you never miss an upload from us also leave a like

right now nowadays things have gotten a lot better for people with intellectual

disabilities they are able to enjoy the benefits of campaigns on television

asking people do not call them rude names children are becoming educated

more than ever regarding bullying and are aware what to

do when it occurs so when this little girl with Down syndrome was being

bullied she had two savvy rescuers come to her aid

Desiree Andrews was much like any other active participant in a school her peers

liked her she was a cheerleader and she also happened to have Down syndrome

Andrews loves cheering she fell in love with it after watching Glee on

television in particular her hero was Becky Jackson who also happened to have

Down syndrome she saw Becky cheering on TV and realized that she could also do

so in real life many of the basketball players at her middle school in

Wisconsin appreciated her participation she helped to boost the morale in

general during the game the teammates became inspired to win Lincoln middle

school had become somewhat of a haven for Desiree she enjoyed her role there

immensely and fit in well unfortunately during one of the games a fan heckled

Andrews from the stands the team heard what was going on and they just couldn't

abide by it some of the boys made sure that the game was halted and they went

over to the stands and asked the participants to just stop it they told

them that it wasn't right to do what they were doing

thankfully the bullies heeded the request unfortunately Desiree had caught

wind of what happened she is an astonishingly strong individual she told

her father when he comforted her after the game that she loved those people

anyways she didn't care if they liked her her father remarked to the press

that this was a great example of unconditional love it was hard for her

team though to let it go they had a

word with the sports director afterwards they wanted the director to talk to the

people again and ensure that they never did something like this again at a game

the players were nominated for citizenship awards for the city of

Kenosha the media helped spread the word about what these anti-bullying players

had done Rodriguez Vasquez Antarian her main

advocates were awarded a Musial Award in 2015 this is a prize that is awarded to

people that display amazing sportsmanship people could not stop

encouraging this trio that they did a brave and beautiful gesture it's also a

blessing that the media picked up the story because Andrews loves the

attention she is receiving for this she loves the idea of Fame and is soaking in

her 15 minutes the school even caught on to the fever they renamed their

gymnasium DS House everyone now at the school seems to have taken on the role

of being Desiree's protector they enjoy helping her feel at home

and ensure that she knows she is special and appreciating if the world could take

a page from this story it would be a much better place bullying is still

rampant in schools people with Down syndrome also still get bullied

hopefully children will see that loving people get attention as well the

bullying can be loud for a moment you might even get another person to laugh

at the others expense however the fallout is pain for another

person and also kids tend to not like bullies bullies can be influential

because others are afraid to take a stand against the negativity they don't

want to become the next target however when people find that bullies are simply

afraid of themselves maybe they can take to educating them

instead the boys on the team simply noticed that something was amiss and

asked for the game to stop they went directly up to the perpetrators and

gently asked them to stop sometimes just noticing and communicating is all that

it takes a bully can then understand that they are getting the wrong kind of

attention for what they are doing sometimes those who are anti-bullying

acts can start a movement this whole school caught on to the fever

and decided to become extra conscientious at promoting inclusivity

whatever the rhetoric bullying can lead to lasting scars so hopefully people can

stop themselves before they say something that they regret these people

from the story probably wished they hadn't said anything

and so with everyone hearing this tale we can all watch our tongue before just

blurting out a phrase that we will regret later

HOW TO COME OUT TO A RELIGIOUS FAMILY - Duration: 3:54.

hey everyone what's up my name is Amanda and welcome back to my channel

*swoosh noise*

so today I'm doing a video that was highly requested on most of my LGBT

videos and basically it was how to come out to religious parents if you don't

know this about me my parents were sort of religious so it was a fun time

coming out as bi

so I made a little list because I can't remember for shit of

little like tips or tricks or just like advice for coming out to religious

parents so the first one would be to remember who you are and be confident

with yourself before you were to tell anyone the number one thing that you

need to know is you have to be confident with who you are you have to be

confident with yourself because it's gonna be a tricky thing just how people

and it's gonna be hard that's gonna be annoying it's gonna hurt um for the most

part probably um so you just have to be really confident with it and just do it

when you're ready dont do it when you're not ready um it'll be much easier

the second thing is to tell them your story and don't let them interrupt you

make them sit down and make them listen to everything you have to say before

they start like butting in and saying stuff um just tell them everything from

start to finish and really make sure they're listening to you before they

start saying their own part that they're gonna obviously have to say take charge

be in charge it's your time the third one is to be prepared be prepared for

any type of response you might get a good one might get a bad one at the end

of the day you don't know until it happens so you have to like really be

prepared for the worst-case scenario the best case scenario just be prepared

because I don't want you to be expecting a certain outcome and not get that and

be disappointed I want you to really think about all the outcomes that could

be possible and be prepared for any of them the fourth one is if you don't feel

comfortable doing it face to face write a letter write an email a lot of people

have done that before um if that's how you feel more safe and more confident in

doing it do it there's no harm in doing it it's not a bad thing to do it if you

don't feel comfortable doing it face to face and you need to get it out of you

you need to tell them that's a perfect way to do it the fifth one is remember

that God made you this way sexuality is not a choice you don't get to choose if

you want to be straight or lesbian or gay or bi or pan

you don't get to choose what your sexuality is you're born with that

that's who you are and God made us all so God made you like that

so remind your parents that because if they do believe in God and everything

like that they have to believe that God made us in this way and it's not the

devil taking over because God made us and you don't choose sexuality therefore

a God made us like this that's it that's all

number six is being gay being bi being anything that is not straight is not a

sin killing people is a sin, loving people is not a sin

and the last one is to give

yourself space and give your parents space after you tell them just because

sometimes it may come as a shock it may not come as a shock but I know sometimes

people need that space to just really comprehend and understand and you having

that space and your parents having that space is not an unhealthy thing it's not

a bad thing it might help you guys for your future relationship with them so

that's a really important one so I hope these small short little tricks and tips

helped you out a bit you have any other questions leave them down below I'll be

happy to try and help in any way that I can if you enjoyed this video please

give it a big thumbs up and subscribe to me below if you have any other video

suggestions around this topic or any video suggestions at all please let me

know and maybe I'll do it yeah once again if you liked it give it a thumbs

up subscribe below and I'll see you next time and remember live life don't think

twice I'm out of here

Discovering the Sun's Mysteriously Hot Atmosphere - Duration: 3:29.

The Sun's core is the hottest part of the Sun.

But our star's temperature doesn't behave as you might expect.

The core is roughly 27 million degrees Fahrenheit

and 10 times more dense than gold.

As you move outward, the layers of the Sun become cooler and less dense.

Something unusual, however, occurs when you reach the outermost layer.

While the surface is around 10,000 degrees Fahrenheit,

the corona – the Sun's outer atmosphere — is several hundred times hotter.

That's the opposite of what happens with a fire, when it gets cooler the farther away you get.

Scientists call this the coronal heating problem

and evidence for this was first uncovered during an eclipse in the 1800s.

The corona is usually hard to see -- it's too dim to be seen next to the Sun's bright body.

But it can be seen with the naked eye,

when the moon blocks the sun during a total solar eclipse.

To understand how this mystery was discovered,

it helps to know how scientists started studying the chemical properties of materials on Earth.

In the early 1800s, instruments named spectroscopes

were invented to identify materials that emit light when heated.

Light enters the spectroscope and is filtered through a tiny hole to isolate a single area.

It then bounces off a special grating that disperses light into its different wavelengths.

While sunlight contains every wavelength,

scientists discovered that every chemical element and compound

contains a unique pattern of wavelengths

that allows scientists to determine the composition of light sources.

It wasn't long before astronomers started extracting information from the light of distant stellar objects.

In 1869, two scientists independently decided to point a spectroscope toward the corona during a total solar eclipse.

As the Sun's light disappeared, the pattern of wavelengths changed.

They saw something they had never seen before.

A bright green line that did not relate to any element found on Earth.

For a short while, scientists named it 'coronium'.

It wasn't until 70 years later that a Swedish scientist discovered

that these lines were the result of elements such as iron being stripped of its electrons.

Every element has a specific number of electrons surrounding the nucleus.

As each electron is removed, more energy is needed to remove the next one.

The green line shows that iron has been stripped of 13 of its 26 electrons –

– indicating that the corona needed to be millions of degrees -- counterintuitively far hotter than the Sun's surface.

Scientists have since proposed a variety of theories

for what mechanisms could be adding that extra heat into the atmosphere.

One theory suggests that small waves in the Sun's surface pushes particles and heat into the atmosphere

- a bit like how ocean waves push surfers.

Another theory suggests small bomb-like explosions from the realignment of the Sun's magnetic field create heat.

Many scientists think it may be a mix of both.

We've studied the corona from Earth during many eclipses,

but to solve our star's biggest mystery we have to make direct observations from the region itself.

How To Prevent Overweight Luggage - Duration: 5:20.

hey cruisers today we have a very special subscriber inspired episode Judi

Gambino got in touch with us on YouTube and said my first cruise is in June of

next year I'm worried about over packing with packing cubes how do I pack all of

your recommendations for packing cubes wipes meds etc without going over wait

for flying so today we're going to talk about how not to have overweight luggage

today's episode is sponsored by CruiseLine.com where you can find reviews

tips and photos from real everyday cruisers well Judy you my friend are not

alone this is definitely a valid concern for cruisers and here we are telling you

all these crazy things you need to take on a cruise well you don't need to take

them take them all and we'll talk about how to scale everything back so that you

can keep it nice and light and you can be very free as you're flying traveling

getting to your cruise ports so we're gonna bring you eight tips the number

one tip is pre-planning you want to start packing early so that you can lay

everything out and later on in the packing process use a process of

elimination to get rid of stuff that you really don't need so it starts with

packing lists start with a nice list of things that you might need and think

about the clothing that you're taking you really want to take clothing that

coordinates well you want to make sure that your shirts match your shorts and

your pants and all that good stuff and we're not doing a whole bunch of

different color palettes so that doesn't mean you have to go with boring bland

colors like black and gray and brown just think about laying things out in

outfits so that you know what matches and you're not putting things in stacks

that don't match one another so start that packing early get a good list going

and you will be fine number two don't forget to start with light weight

luggage you can get perfectly high-quality bags these days that do not

weigh a lot it's okay to go to a discount store and look for high quality

brands they sell Delsea it luggage eBags there's so many different choices for

you so check that out now number three you definitely need to invest in a

luggage scale before you cruise so check with your airline to see what their

weight requirements are and get a luggage scale there's plenty of them in

our shop which we will link to below that

can help you out with this so that you know exactly what you're dealing with

now when we're talking about those little things Judy and everyone else in

the cruising community that can add up think about scaling them way back and

putting them in ziplock bags or smaller bags here's an example

you know those norovirus wipes we talk about all the time that come in a

canister this big we're not gonna take all of those we're gonna take 20 of

those norovirus wipes and we're gonna pop them in a ziploc bag and scale back

so that things are more lightweight you can do the same thing with toiletries

cotton balls q-tips things like that just take a small amount of what you

know you're going to need now one of my my husband's absolute favorite tips for

keeping your bag under the weight limit is to use packing cubes contrary to

popular belief packing cubes do not weigh very much you guys they are not

going to add to your overall luggage weight but what they will do is allow

you to redistribute things from bag to bag if you get to the airport and you've

got one bag that's a little bit overweight so maybe you've got one

that's at fifty two pounds but you have one that came in at forty six pounds you

can take a packing cube out of the overweight bag and put it into another

bag so redistribution is my husband's favorite tip number six think about what

you do not need to pack but you could buy at your port of embarkation on our

last cruise to the Panama Canal we went carry-on only so it wasn't so much a

weight restriction but a size restriction for us so what we did is we

left a bunch of our toiletries at home we didn't take any sunscreen or anything

bulky at all that would not pass through the TSA line instead we waited and went

to a supermarket in Florida and bought it all there and took it on the ship in

our carry-on bag no big deal number seven and probably my favorite tip for

keeping the weight of your luggage down and keeping the size compact is to limit

the amount of shoes that you take you hear me talking about shoes all the time

you should only take a few pair and they should be very comfortable and they

should be versatile so you should be able to wear some of the same pairs of

shoes to many many different dinners and things like that that's really one of my

favorite tips and when you start packing and you look at that luggage you will

see that it's those shoes that really take up a lot of space our last tip

today is if possible plan to do laundry on board if

it's not going to ruin your vacation there are two types of people in this

world the type who don't like it don't mind doing a little laundry on a cruise

and the type who think we're absolutely insane when we make that suggestion

people are like you're on vacation don't do laundry I say I don't mind at all

doing a load or two here and there in a self-serve laundromat if it means that

my baggage can be much less bulky and my packing game is just a little bit more

on point we hope that these tips have been helpful for you Miss Judy and for

everyone out there who's trying to keep a little bit light and avoid those

overweight bag fees until next time cruisers we'll see you on the high seas

bye

She Picks A Blind Date Based On Their Texts - Duration: 14:58.

- The weirdest place you've ever gotten turned on.

Mine was jury duty.

I don't know what it was about those fluorescent lights.

Welcome to Three-Way Blind Date,

the dating show where all the flirting and get to know you

mumbo jumbo is done entirely through texting

and social media.

I'm Kate, your host, and this is Rita.

- I'm from North Carolina,

but I've been in LA for the past five years

and I'm hella excited to be here.

I work at UCLA, doing peer-to-peer coaching.

My passion is just promoting Lao-Americans in higher ed

and getting us in mainstream media.

- What are you looking for in a person?

- You ain't gotta be passionate about

the same things I'm passionate about,

but you gotta have some type of drive.

- Well, we have three winners for you today.

- I date often.

I personally don't use dating apps.

I think I've downloaded them all at one point.

I consider Instagram my dating app.

- I don't date that much,

but I just got out of a relationship,

so that's why I'm here.

- I talk to a lot of girls,

but I definitely don't follow through.

- Here's how the show works.

We are going to ask the guys some hard hitting questions.

They are going to respond.

We have code names for them.

They are currently Flip, Flop, and Flarp.

They will respond to all of the questions we ask

on this screen.

We will be able to see.

We will then analyze them and judge every answer they have

to figure out what type of person they are,

if it's someone you want to date.

Twist, they are watching everything we are doing.

- Ah (bleep).

- And you brought your friend with you today.

- I did.

- Get a little input from a friend.

Who do you see Rita with?

- And is taller. - (laughs) Oh my god.

- Let's get into it.

First question for the boys.

Take a picture of your shoes and send it on over.

- Oh, I just sent it to the wrong person.

- (bleep) Not a picture of his shoes.

- Do you have shoe thoughts?

- I like a nice pair of sneakers.

- How do you feel about flip-flops?

- They're okay.

It's not gonna be like a turn-on for me.

- Sneakers turn you on?

- Yeah.

- You got sneakers.

- Okay. - Alright.

What one do you like the best so far?

- I like the middle one

because they kinda remind me of my own shoes, kind of.

- Wow, looks like someone's connecting with Flop.

- What up, Flop, what's going on?

- On an immediate level.

- Flop also has some high rise pants on.

Where's the flood, Flop?

Do you ever like to go deep on first dates?

Let me rephrase that. (laughs)

Do you like to have deep conversations on first dates?

- Yeah, why not?

We're saving like 500 hours of emotional labor,

you know what I mean.

- Some of these questions that we've come up with

are the questions that you'd want to ask on a first date

but if you were to ask, you might be considered crazy.

So this next question was a bit of an ethics question.

You're on a runaway train.

The train is going straight,

and as of right now, the train's about to kill three people.

But you have the option to pull the lever,

veer off to the side, and only kill one person.

But that would mean that you

are responsible for that one person's death.

Do you let the train kill three people and save yourself

and do you pull the lever, kill one person,

and be a murderer?

- Either way, you're a bad guy.

- I'm just going for it, full steam ahead.

No, that's messed up, right?

- Flop went ahead and said, pull it.

So he would sacrifice himself to be a murderer.

Oh boy, we got a real answer from Flip.

I don't usually consider circumstantial ethics

to be a good metric for morality.

If I had to, I'd have an easier time killing one person

and living with it although it would be terrible

and this is why I don't take trains.

- Damn Flip, I appreciate that thoughtful answer.

What's going on, Flarp?

- I'd derail the train, save one person,

then have Spider-Man pull the other two away with his webs.

I don't think Flarp got the question at all.

But I like the world Flarp's living in.

- You're creative.

- What do you think about these answers?

What would you do?

- It depends on the person, right?

- Wait, the type of people you're going to kill?

- Yeah. (laughs)

- Alright guys, she's at the bar twerking up a storm

and you want to go and strike up a convo.

Opening pickup line.

- I don't know.

Dude, I'm not good at pickup lines.

What should I do?

- What's a good pickup line?

- And Flarp coming in hot with the pickup lines.

- LOL, you read it.

- Alright, ready?

I noticed you noticing me,

and I wanted to put you on notice that I noticed more.

- What?

- You want to leave this place and go to a Cookout?

#NorthCarolina

- Hey, I'm all for it.

Let's go.

It's a restaurant in North Carolina.

- He said, let's go to Cookout, not to a cookout.

He knew something exactly

about North Carolina. - Exactly.

Flop, you winning.

North Carolina. - Is Flop lapping these dudes?

- What you know about that?

- And Flip is shaking in his boots.

- Take too long, I already gone to the bathroom.

- Flip, in the time it took you

to come up with this opening line,

two or three guys have been talking to this girl.

Pardon me, ma'am. (laughs)

- What the (bleep)?

- Is that the end? (laughs)

- Pardon me ma'am?

I continue twerking y'all.

But I love Cookout.

- What do you think about Flarp's?

- I appreciate the long pickup line.

- Okay, Flarp, we're still early in the game.

You can come back from this.

It's not looking great, but you can turn this around.

Next question, have you ever sent an unsolicited dick pic?

Be honest.

- Yeah, you better be honest.

- And if you have, send it now.

Just kidding, don't send it.

Could we do a two-parter to this question?

Have you ever sent a solicited dick pic?

How do you feel about dick pics?

- If I didn't ask for it, then please don't send it to me.

- Have you ever asked for one?

- No.

- No. - Yeah.

- So you don't like dick pics?

- No.

- So far, all we've gotten from Flip is a no

to the unsolicited and here we go.

A no and then a yeah, he's sent a solicited dick pic.

Flop said nope to unsolicited and for solicited he said

seventh grade was a wild time #tbt.

I don't know if a lot of seventh grade girls

are really asking for dick pics, call me crazy.

And Flarp is coming up with an excuse. (laughs)

- Lies.

- Flarp, you beautiful bastard.

We've got Flarp coming in hot with,

he sent a picture of comedian and civil rights activist

Dick Gregory dies at 84,

the only kind of dick pics I send,

and I'm pretty sure that's Dick Cheney.

I knew that Flarp was a slow burn.

Blaze of glory right now.

He's on a hot streak.

- Okay, yeah, you low-key funny.

- We have this bowl of social clues.

You want to know a little bit more about their

social presence, maybe learn what their search history was

or what their first tweet was.

You'll pick from this jar,

and you'll say which person you want to answer it.

All three don't answer this one,

just who you want to know more about.

- What is Flop's first tweet?

- His first tweet was a reply to Miley Cyrus.

@MileyCyrus Come to Cape Cod and blast it off with us.

Seven years ago, tweeting at Miley.

- Okay.

- To blast off.

- Alright.

- With us, who's the us?

- I'm like a not so much Miley fan now, but.

- Did you like her then?

- I liked her in Hannah Montana, it was nice.

- Is it safe to say that this is putting Flop

a little bit in the lead?

Are sparks flying with Flop?

- Yeah, can you see them?

- Yeah, yeah.

- Well, who doesn't love an underdog story, am I right?

Now it's time to turn the tables

and let the guys ask you a few questions.

First up, we got Flip coming in with a question.

What motivated your interest in social justice?

- Okay, good question.

I grew up in North Carolina.

My parents are from Laos and Thailand,

and growing up in a predominantly white community,

my family experienced hella racism, sexism.

I didn't understand that that wasn't okay.

I got politicized when I went to UNC Chapel Hill,

started a women of color empowerment sorority.

It's been amazing and humbling to come from

that type of past and history.

- Right to the point.

This is from Flop.

- Okay Flop.

- Flop's asking, what is your favorite part

of living in Los Angeles and why?

- There's so much culture in LA.

You can go to the beach any day,

you can go to any museum.

There's always a lot of education and art.

It's just so beautiful.

You learn so much here.

- You don't even have to leave the state.

You know we can always count on Flarp

to keep it spicy over here

with the hot question ready, here we go.

When was your last one night stand?

- Funny thing, I've actually never had a one night stand.

(laughs) So you want to be my first one?

- Wow, what's happening?

Now, we're gonna get into the nitty gritty questions

that you have prepared.

I pass the torch.

- Okay.

- To you.

- Thank you.

- Question number one,

if you could choose a song to twerk to,

what would it be and why?

- You're really into twerking.

- Yeah.

- Do you like a guy who also twerks?

- Doesn't necessarily have to

because I will do the twerking on behalf of us.

- You twerk for two.

So we got Flarp.

I wouldn't twerk if my life depended on it,

but I can hit them folks with a dab of ranch.

I gotta be honest, I'm having a hard time

getting my finger on Flarp's pulse, to be quite honest.

I can't really.

We got from Flop, this is a no twerk zone,

but if I gotta, we going Tip Drill by Nelly.

And we got Flip coming in with London Bridge by Fergie

because whenever I think about twerking,

that song comes to my mind.

- You gotta be open to twerking.

It's okay if you tried it and didn't like it,

but you were like, no twerk zone, what, uh-uh.

So you gonna shame me for twerking?

- Uh-oh, Flarp came back with a,

don't try to emasculate us, kissy face.

- Flarp, you ain't winning by saying that.

- Oh my gosh, things are really heating up here.

- If a friend could describe you in a hashtag,

what would it be and why?

- Flop came in with the #UpForAnything.

- Okurr. (laughs)

Spontaneous.

- If I can make a guess right now,

I feel like Flip is in fact

having a very hard time with this question.

If I know anything about Flip.

We got Flip saying #drinkswineintheshower

because sometimes I drink wine in the shower.

But I cover the bottle top so no water gets in

because I am also classy.

And then we got Flarp coming in with #FlarpBiteHeDontBark.

(laughs)

So he's all about action, not a lot about talking about it.

I would like to point out Flip is the only one

who answered the question, both parts of the question.

We've got the excuses rolling in from Flop.

Didn't hear the and why.

Did you not hear it or were you not listening, Flop?

- What are three qualities you admire about yourself?

- Flip, self-reflective, self-critical, and communicative.

- Mm, okay.

- Flop, we've got energetic, happy, compassionate.

- Aww.

- Lightning bolt, swirly star, sun.

Flarp, we got my height, dashing good looks,

and my scent, I love me.

Nobody can do me better than me.

I am nobody, nobody's perfect.

Therefore, I am perfect.

Flarp.

- Y'all.

- Flarp, you know what I appreciate about Flarp right now?

He is doubling down.

He was like, I don't see myself winning this.

- Did you surrender already?

- So let me really double down.

We've learned all that we could possibly learn.

We've talked about twerking,

we've talked about social justice.

How do you feel about Flip?

- I appreciate his thoughtful answers.

What do you think, Sang, in terms of Flip?

- My only concern is maybe like funny aspects

and just like when we talk and whatnot.

- You want fun as well as informed.

- Fun and informed.

In terms of Flop, I wasn't so sure

if he was ready to go deep with me.

- He was going strong in the beginning.

- Yeah, he was really strong.

I appreciate the North Carolina reference.

That one was pretty dope.

- Then we move on to Flarp.

- You rooted for him. (laughs)

- I was Team Flarp. - Flarp you had a cheerleader.

I'm still feeling there's not a thorough understanding

of the type of person that I see in a partner.

It's hard because you can't really tell their tone in texts.

- Yeah, and it's hard to show your true colors.

So if you pick Flip, he'll be serious.

Can he be funny?

You pick Flop, he'll be funny, can he be serious?

You pick Flarp, was the whole thing a masquerade

and he's actually a really great listener,

he's just being silly right now?

Because Flarp, he's funny.

- Yeah, you're absolutely right.

- We're gonna bring the guys in.

You're going to see them all.

Do you have the answer in your heart?

- I think I have the answer.

- She has the answer.

I'm excited to see who she chose,

but first let's meet the ones she didn't choose.

First up, let's see you Flarp.

Come on out.

Flarp with the rose in his mouth.

- It's all good. - Thank you.

- I just want to say, from the shoes,

it was spiraling all downhill from the shoes.

My actual name is Brandon Brown.

- Flarp was number one in my book,

but you know what, my book doesn't count.

Let's bring out the runner up, not the one chosen

but still a contender, let's meet Flop.

- Aw, thank you.

Thank you. - I flopped.

- You flopped. - I flopped big time.

- You did. - You so flopped but.

- It's alright though.

- What's your name?

- Oh, Lichota.

Lichota is my real name, not Flop.

- Thank you Flop.

And that means if you don't know who it is,

you weren't paying attention.

Bada-bing bada-boom, we've got the winner.

The winner is Flip, come on out.

- Thank you.

- And he voted.

You voted. - I voted today.

- Congratulations on voting.

- My name is Jeptha Storm.

- Jeptha, nice to meet you. - Nice to meet you.

- Rita. - Rita, pleasure.

Oh, we're day drinking.

- You're day drinking.

- Yeah, cheers. - Cheers.

- That's been our show.

- Follow us on the Gram.

- Maybe you would want to date them.

Slide into their DMs.

They're single, and they're recently rejected.

- Hey y'all, what's up?

This is Rita coming at you with some updates.

Me and Jeptha, we didn't go on a second date unfortunately.

I made a goal to go on

one date a month for this year in 2018.

I am now on date number two.

You saw my interview questions.

If you think you can tackle those questions,

feel free to slide in those DMs.

Let's connect, let's do something.

- Hey, Unsolved is on a new channel.

And then your part.

- [Both] Subscribe here.

- That was my part.

High Skill Meta | Overwatch - Duration: 6:45.

Right now, the community is all over the place.

Between people still arguing over the Mercy nerf, others full heartedly celebrating the

hitscan buffs and others again demanding more nerfs to the likes of Hanzo and Baguette-

I am having a hard time finding a general consensus on how the community is feeling

about Overwatch and its balance right now.

Hammond is on the live servers but not available to play on ladder and the support changes

are still on the PTR aswell.

But that doesn't stop a lot of players from picking up heroes like Ana and Lucio already

in anticipation of what is hopefully going to be a diverse meta in the coming weeks.

A meta that, dare I say it, might finally take some skill..

Questionmark?

Now, as much as I'm not here trying to ruin anyone's party, I feel obligated to advise

in favor of keeping our expectations low.

And the reason for that should be rather obvious.

Something I, and many others have preached for a while.

The community is always after the next, broken meta trend.

That's how it has been and that's how it always will be.

Meta play means finding the most effective tactics available, and that, in the case of

ladder play, has very little to do with what is..

Well, skillful.

It's more about what is easy.

The easiest way to win, the easiest way to rank up and the easiest way to get 6 random

people to create something that can steamroll the opposition despite the lack of coordination

that is present in competitive play.

And I also dare say that this whole..

"High Skill Meta" that players are praying for might not be what you want in the first

place.

But to understand why, we need to put everything into perspective.

Relative to a hardcore first person shooter, the act of aiming is not a god given, rare

skill set.

It's a requirement to be able to compete at all.

Sure, in a game that is all about aiming, the player with the best aim is likely going

to turn out to be the best, period.

But that doesn't mean that anyone who's not completely incapable of putting a crosshair

on a head is going to be praised into the heavens.

We are talking about completely different standards here.

Relative to the Overwatch community in its entirety, aiming is a rare skill set.

Even when keeping the most recent hitscan buffs in mind, do you really think low ELO

players who couldn't hold their crosshair steady for 11 Seasons are suddenly going to

be able to benefit from this?

Personally, I doubt it.

I mean sure, there are players with very good aim down in low ranks because they are absolute

buttcheeks at everything else- But god knows how many players actually fall into that category.

So we start to think about the Ana buff, the hitscan buffs, the Mercy nerf and all that

kinda stuff and we have to wonder- How much of an impact will this make..

All across the ladder?

Because we are likely going to look at fundamentally different worlds going from Division to Division.

And how do we know that?

Because that is already the case.

As much as there are halfwitts in Diamond who try to bring their Overwatch League strategy

into a solo queue match, the lower in ranks you get, the less your so called meta play

matters.

The other day somebody asked me what they can do to get better and rank up into Platinum,

and the answer is rather simple.

Yes I know, everyone likes to say "Just get good" but that isn't what I said right

there.

If you think about the average rank to be somewhere between gold and platinum, and you

are downward of that average rank, then it's not about you becoming a good player..

It's about you stopping to be a bad player.

If you are stuck in a rank below average then you have either not understood how this game

works on a fundamental level, or your execution of those fundamentals is simply subpar.

The whole "Get good" attitude comes when you surpass the average rank.

When it isn't about just getting on even footing with the rest of the players, but

about trying to reach new heights.

And sure, I might sound like a dick saying all of that, but assuming you didn't just

get offended and take what I said at face value- The way you look at meta play should

also change.

Players don't form cohesive compositions and don't play properly in low ranks because

that is very inherent behaviour to a rank that is below the average.

What really matters down there is doing what you do well enough on an individual level.

Players will default to what makes sense around that rank, which often includes heroes that

are very easy to get value out of.

We're talking about heroes like Junkrat, Moira, Pharah and Mercy.

But obviously, different things apply in high ranks.

And in high ranks, the hitscan buff, for example, can potentially be seen as broken.

Where one guy might say "Well, he earned that kill across the map with McCree because

his aim is good."

others might say, "Considering that decent aim is a given at this rank, it's complete

BS that this guy can snipe me across the map with McCree."

And that issue gets exacerbated when talking about Soldier 76.

Because he is such a forgiving character to play, somebody might be able to get ridiculous

amounts of value out of, what is supposed to be an introductory character.

And this is why we have to be careful with what we wish for.

Sure, the hitscan buff might not do a heck of a lot for players who can't aim well,

but it might completely break the game for players who participate in an environment

where they do.

I mean- There is a reason that McSniper was nerfed back in the day, for those of you who

remember.

That's not to say that all of these things are accurate right now, it's just to put

them into perspective.

If there isn't a meta that every player can take advantage of to equal degrees, like

the GravDragon or the Spam Meta, then what is considered "broken" changes depending

on who you ask.

And that is, by all means, not a foreign concept.

Sometimes I do question how forgetful our community is.

Like, Baguette is released, and suddenly nobody remembers how to dive anymore.

In that same vein, we are seemingly forgetting how the high end was playing a completely

different game from the rest of the ladder back before everyone was pressing Q to summon

black holes and techno dragons.

This is just a reminder- Before everyone goes out crying and fighting over what is or isn't

overpowered..

Remember: It is in our nature to find the easiest way to win.

That's just how meta play works, whether you like it or not.

And if it's not a meta that revolves around pressing Q, then we'll find something else.

And it might be broken to varying degrees depending on which ELO you play in.

As in- Ranging from completely overpowered to absolutely useless.

Something like a "High Skill Meta" will probably never exist, just because of the

sheer amount of characters that players refuse to attribute any level of skill to whatsoever.

Obviously I am also hoping for a lot of diversity, but temper your expectations, and don't

be surprised if in a few months from now, everyone is crying about how Season 11 is

the worst competitive Season in Overwatch history.

And this wraps up my video talking about the relativity of skill in Overwatch, in relation

to what players like to call a "High Skill Meta".

Because the only form of skill somebody can display is clicking heads, apparently.

As always my friends, feel free to leave all of your thoughts and opinions on the subject

in question down in the comment section below.

But until then, thank you everybody so much for watching, don't forget to drop me a

like on your way out if you enjoyed the video, subscribe if you wanna see more, and maybe

share this video with a friend you think would find it interesting.

Thanks again for watching, and I hope to see you all next time.

Getting Rid Of Persistent Weeds In The Garden - Duration: 6:34.

We would all love those pristine gardens without a weed, but weeds are

relentless and they are the bane of most gardeners lives. Now, there are things you

can do to help relieve the pressures on yourself as a gardener and dealing with

weeds. But first we need to look at what those weeds are, and what we can do to

prevent those weeds coming back time and time again, and that's going right up

after this. So weeds why are we getting them, well we all know that adage that

bare soil doesn't stay bare for long but this is Nature's Way in protecting

that soil and stopping soil erosion and stopping it being blown away by the

winds and drying out and everything else. It also protects all the soil microbial

life because it gives them something to feed on, because if the soil was just

barren then they would just turn to sand like the Sahara Desert.

So are weeds? well, weeds are stated as plants that in the

wrong location or a plant that's not desired. Now,

this is a weed because I don't want it there. does that mean that this courgette

plant here which is doing pretty well, be a weed? well, yes it's a weed if I don't

want it. Now weeds come in all shapes and sizes, now there are two different types

there's perennial weeds and in is annual weeds now the annual weeds are not so

much of an issue because they germinate, they grow, and they seed all in one year

and then they're gone but they've left see behind, and they're quite easy to

take control of because what we can do with annual weeds is we can keep hoeing

them off, and if we can remove those weeds before they seed we break the

cycle so annual weeds are much much easier to get hold of, and control of, and

then next we've got the perennial weeds now these are the weeds they're really

hard to deal with and these are the ones that people struggle with the most. As

you can see here, my soil is absolutely clean, and I've got no more weeds growing

here that's not to say that I didn't have them growing here. What I did was I

kept those hoe's busy now there are multiple hoe's available and I've got

three or four here The important thing about hoe's is to keep them sharp

so that they cut off the tops of those annual weeds but with perennials cutting

the top off makes no difference because these perennial weeds they send roots

right down now with annual weeds you cut them tops off and those roots are right

down there they have a store of energy that they can put up a new top, so

cutting the heads off doesn't make much of a difference, and they have some

really good strategies in being able to remain and survive as a plant.

Some of them will send root way, way, way down and it doesn't matter how far that

we go a get finer and finer and finer and they are able to regrow just from

the smallest amount of root. Others like bindweed it's an absolute nightmare for

me down on the fruit pot as you can see here but bindweed

this absolutely strangles everything and if you've not kept on top of then it

will choke out the plants that you want to grow. the bindweed is quite a hard

weed to control. Any small piece of root will allow the

plant to continue growing. So you really must dig it out, the other way to kill

off these weeds are things like mulches, now as you can see here we have no weeds

around here and we've used the wood chip mulch and that helps to suppress the

weeds because if the seed that is on the soil can't get late then they can't

germinate and secondly it also suppresses the annuals coming through

and they're much easier to take off and spot when they come through because when

it come through if you can remove them straight away if you're taking the top

off constantly that plant is having to use energy from the root tubers to put a

new top on which it will then photosynthesize to get new energy but if we

can interrupt that and take the top off every time it comes through then we

prevent that getting the light it needs and eventually it'll weaken that root

system and that plant will die. Killing off all these sorts of perennial

weeds is takes a long time so you really need to be on top of things and like I

said mulching with things like woodchip or even a membrane black plastic or even

cardboard can help to alleviate the light getting to these plants and it can

take over a year or more sometimes to really make a dent in them. So if you

really want to make a dent in those weeds you really need to be on top of

things you need to be hoeing constantly and that will take care of all the

annuals don't be turning over your soil all the time instead maybe revolve to an

O dig method where you're putting compost on top that'll stop bringing

those annual seeds to the surface remember guys for every year of seed

that those plants are able to drop that's going to cause you six or seven

years in order to get rid of all that seed so if you can prevent them coming to

the surface in the first place then that is gonna do a lot to dealing with those

weeds germinating and if you're holding them off eventually that will take care

of the problem for you so if you want a nice clean pot and a nice clean garden

then you can have it you just got to put a little bit of thought and effort into

it and use the membranes and the Mulches and the hoe that's the one of the most

important tools in the garden these days is that hoe keep on top of those weeds

as they just pop their head through and you're gonna be golden. Anyway guys I

really hope you've enjoyed this episode if you haven't already considered it in

that subscribe button and don't forget the bell notification icon and you won't

miss any further videos. I'm Tony O'Neill this is UK year we grow

and remember you reap what you sow. I'll see you in the next one

bye, bye
