Waching daily Jul 4 2018

Hey everyone!

Recently, a lot of people have been asking me about how I learned English on this channel.

So, here's my video about it.

Ah, first of all, just a little bit about myself.

I was born and grew up in Japan, originally.

And I was there until I was 18 or so.

And then, I didn't go to any international school when I was in Japan.

So, pretty much, I didn't speak any English until I was 18.

And then, I came to North America to study at a university here, actually in Boston.

And then, when I came to North America, surprisingly, a lot of people were like:

Wow!

Your English is so good!

You know, I can't believe this is your first time living in an English speaking country!

And I think I was able to, sort of, get that kind of reaction because of a simple reason.

I just practiced.

A lot.

And I mostly practiced when I was in Japan, too.

And while I was in Japan, I mostly focused on two things to, you know, improve my English

communication skills.

One was listening.

And the other one was vocabulary.

So, why these two?

Well, I think vocabulary is a little bit more obvious.

You know, the more words you know, the more you can express your thoughts and the more

you can understand other people, too.

But, why listening?

Well, that's because I realized that if you focus on listening, you can practice all the

other skills at the same time.

So, for example, if you listen to something with a script, if you don't understand something

if you listen, when you listen, you can just read the script to check.

So that way, you can practice reading at the same time.

And if you make sure that you understand every single word you hear, then you'll be able

to improve your vocabulary at the same time.

And if you repeat, you know, what you listen to, then you'll be able to practice speaking

at the same time, too.

Okay, so, would I recommend the same strategy for someone who's learning English right now?

My answer would be, yes, definitely!

Ah, especially for the listening part.

And I think I'm going to show you how I would practice listening if I was learning English

right now.

This method is pretty close to what I actually used back then, when I was learning English.

So, first of all, for this method, find something you'd enjoy listening to, whether it's news,

audiobooks, TV shows, or movies.

And then, try to find a script that goes with it.

You can probably just find it by searching for keywords like, you know, let's say "the

social network script" or "how I met your mother script."

And then, you know, sentence by sentence, first watch the clip without a script.

And then, try to understand everything.

If you want to make sure that you understood everything, you can just, you know, repeat

everything after every sentence.

And if you can't repeat it, then you can check the script.

Okay, to show you what this might actually look like, I'm just going to show you an example

here.

So, let's say you want to use the TV show Friends to practice.

You know, it's an old show but it's still one of my favorites.

Ah, first find the script for it by just searching for "friends script."

Ah, you might need to try like a few links.

But, you should be able to find one that's good.

I think this one's good.

And then, I'm just going to go to Netflix here.

And I'm going to open Friends Season1 Episode 1.

And, by the way, it's really up to you if you want to use subtitles or not.

I think you can do this with or without subtitles.

I would do it without subtitles, though.

So, let me just skip intro here.

And, like I said earlier, first listen without looking at the script.

And then, try to repeat everything that's been just said.

So, I'm just going to show you how I would do it.

There's nothing to tell.

It's just some guy I work with.

There's nothing to tell.

It's just some guy I work with.

Come on, you're going out with the guy.

There's gotta be something wrong with him!

Okay, so let's say I just didn't understand what he just said.

Then, I would go back to the script.

And then, I would find that part.

You know, it's this one.

And then, I'm going to read it and try to understand it.

Ah, you know, c'mon, you're going out with the guy!

There's gotta be something wrong with him!

So that's pretty easy.

You know, I understood it.

So, I can just go back to Netflix.

And then, repeat the same part.

Come on, you're going out with the guy.

There's gotta be something wrong with him!

Come on, you're going out with the guy.

There's gotta be something wrong with him!

So, yeah, that's the idea.

You know, it might look super silly, but it actually works.

So, you know, you should give it a try if you're learning English right now.

And just a few more things here.

First of all, ah, once you think your listening skill is good enough, you should definitely

find something to practice speaking with.

And I think, you know, there are a few different ways of going about this.

Ah, for example, you can just try to find friends who speak English.

But another good way is through something called language exchange.

Ah, the idea of language exchange is that, you know, you help someone else practice your

own language.

And then, they'll help you with English.

And nowadays, there a lot of good apps for this.

So you can probably find a good app for it just by searching for it on Google on the

App Store.

And the second thing is, if you want to improve your pronunciation, I think the best way by

far for doing that is to, you know, record yourself and then listen to yourself.

It's not an easy thing to do, definitely.

You know, I don't like doing it, either.

But it's definitely effective.

So, even on this channel, if you go back like two years and then watch my old videos, you'll

probably see that my speech was much less clear back then than it is now, even though

it's not perfect yet.

And that's just because I would make one video, notice my mistakes in my pronunciation, and

then, I would try to fix them in my next video.

And, I just kept improving that way.

Okay, that's pretty much all I wanted to say in this video.

You know, if you're looking for more of these, I guess, non-technical how-to videos, you

should check out my video about how to stop procrastinating on my other channel right

here.

Anyway, as always, thank you so much for watching this video.

And I'll see you guys in the next one! :D

Amid the ongoing trade spat between the U.S. and China,... the Trump administration is

moving to ban China Mobile, a state-owned Chinese wireless carrier, from entering the

American market,... citing national security concerns.

According to David Redl, the assistant secretary for communications and information at the

U.S. Department of Commerce,... "concerns about increased risks to U.S. law enforcement

and national security interests were unable to be resolved", despite "significant engagement"

with the wireless carrier.

Any ban would require the Federal Communications Commission's approval.

China Mobile is the world's largest telecom carrier with some 900 million subscribers.

EMBARRASSING WORK STORIES #2 | Dolan True Stories - Duration: 7:23.

• From torn work clothes to being covered in pig poo, the Planet Dolan crew re-enact

some of the best true stories from our subreddit about the most embarrassing things that happened

to us while at work.

I'm Pringle and today I'll be your narrator.

Number 10 was submitted by XxWolfCrusherxX MKyleM

So MKyleM decided to hack the security system where he worked as an IT Expert.

However, he didn't know that he was hacking the webcams that looked into his boss's

office.

While hacking, MKyleM forgot to put in a single line of code, which made his boss able to

see him.

His boss saw MKyleM's friend, Grgak, standing naked in the background.

Grgak asked, "Hey, you got that camera hacked yet?"

His boss took away his coding equipment, but thanked him for finding a way to look over

the workplace without anyone knowing.

He even said, "MKyleM and his… naked friend brought a new security system to our workplace."

MKyleM was teased about it for a year.

Number 9 was submitted by HellaBella27 Spincess

One time, when Spincess worked as an office clerk, her boss asked her to copy some papers.

He gave her the files and she stored them in her desk, in the second drawer where her

4-year-old son's drawings were.

Being the same color as the papers from her boss, Spincess didn't notice and accidentally

copied her son's drawings instead.

She gave them to her boss and, the next day during a meeting, he looked at the papers

and gave Spincess an angry look.

So her boss, not wanting to embarrass her, described the drawings to everyone as they

laughed.

Afterwards, he politely told her to copy the papers and not draw them.

Number 8 was submitted by oPolarus Danger Dolan

When he worked at a garden center, Dolan had to lift a bag of bio blend compost, which

was soil made of recycled greens and pig poop.

When Dolan and his co-worker lifted the bag over their heads to put it on a shelf, it

ripped open on Dolan's end, spilling all over him.

He had to be sprayed with a jet hose and couldn't get the smell of pig poop off him for a week.

Number 7 was submitted by CatsaNinjaCat Pandora

One time, when Pandora was working the night shift as a casino janitor, her mother stopped

in and spent an hour looking for her.

She walked around the casino, saying, "Do you know where my daughter is?

She's part of the cleaning crew.

It's her first night being in charge.

I wanted to see how she's doing and wish her luck."

Pandora's mother said that to everyone – from cocktail waitresses to security, and even

a few executives.

She eventually found Pandora, who was training a new employee.

After getting Pandora's attention, her mother began to say things like, "Have you been

eating well?"

"Are you showering properly?"

"How's your cat?

I miss her."

From over her mother's shoulder, Pandora saw the casino's owner along with the director

of the janitorial department heading toward them.

The director politely told Pandora's mother that she couldn't visit her at work and

interrupt her, to which her mother replied, "She's my only daughter, the last baby

bird to leave the nest."

The director replied, "Well, you're putting your 'baby bird' at risk of being fired.

Please do not disturb her, or I will have security escort you off the property."

Her mother promptly shut up and left.

Number 6 was submitted by MarvalMan10 Legna

One day, Legna was late to work.

He was really dazed from watching "The Walking Dead" all night.

As he walked down the hall, he opened a door that he thought was his office.

It turned out to be a board room where executives and representatives were holding a meeting.

Legna's boss said, "This is the Employee of the Year I was telling you about."

Everyone in the room began muttering phrases such as, "He's a fine young man" and

"He looks like a hard worker."

Confused and overwhelmed, Legna's body self-destructed – he peed his pants, puked on an executive,

and almost pooped his pants.

Despite being fired for the incident, Legna and his former boss are still cool and even

joke about it to this day.

Number 5 was submitted by 3ofkings Zaraganba

Zaraganba once went to a company Christmas party that was being held at a fancy country

club, where the CEO was a member.

Everything was free – including the drinks.

So, Zaraganba ended up having five fireball shots, two Long Island Iced Teas, and a mojito.

Needless to say, he was fairly drunk.

His co-workers dragged him onto the dance floor, where he tore it up.

Trying to be impressive, he tried ending his dance with a cartwheel to his seat.

Misjudging the distance, his legs came down on the edge of the table, sending plates,

food, and candles flying everywhere.

The plates smashed against the wall, the food splattered a couple of his co-workers and

a member of the band that was playing, and the candles rolled on the floor and began

a small fire.

Zaraganba grabbed the first liquid that he saw and threw it at the fire to put it out

– but instead of water, he had accidentally grabbed vodka.

The CEO grabbed a jug of water and put it out.

Zaraganba sheepishly helped put the table back up and stayed away from the dance floor,

as well as the booze, for the rest of the night.

Everyone – including the CEO – just laughed it off.

They still talk about it to this day.

Number 4 was submitted by GRACIElovesANIMALS Doopie

Doopie decided to wear her new black leggings to work one day.

It was a day where she had to go to a very important meeting.

In the middle of the meeting, she stood up and heard a rip.

She looked at her chair and saw that the whole backside of her pants had ripped.

The entire section of the leggings that covered her butt were gone.

Luckily, she had a long jacket, but she had to walk down a long hallway and into a room

where another meeting was being held.

She believes that was her worst day EVER!

Number 3 was submitted by CitCat27-03 Cidius

During his first shift at a general store, Cid was taken to the backroom by his supervisor

to get to know where things were.

Next, he began to train Cid on a register.

All of a sudden, Cid threw up in his hands and had to run to the back of the store, with

bits of chuck dropping as he ran.

For months, he was known as the newbie who threw up.

He also knows why he threw up that day.

The register he was training at was on a corner that would get very stuffy, especially on

hot Australian days.

Number 2 was submitted by Wing_679 Hellbent

When he was 16, Hellbent worked at McDonald's.

While working with the fries, one of his co-workers came up from behind him and pulled his pants

down.

He then threw them in the fryer.

Hellbent was very embarrassed, and went home without his pants that day.

The next day, he texted his co-worker saying that they were no longer friends.

He also ended up quitting.

Number 1 – What was the most embarrassing thing that happened to me while

at work?

Huge thanks for the folks over on our Planet Dolan subreddit for submitting their stories.

We have another question for you: "What's the scariest thing that ever happened when

you were home alone?"

11 Warning Signs That Tell It's Time to Detox Your Soul - Duration: 5:40.

11 Warning Signs That Tell It's Time to Detox Your Soul.

Detox is needed not only for the body, but also the soul.

As you go through life, many things happen that can poison your soul, leading you to

become a toxic person.

Just like with the body, your soul also needs to detox to get rid of toxins that contaminate

your behavior.

A dirty soul will show some symptoms.

Well, if you find any or some of these symptoms in you, that's a sign you need to detox your

soul.

Please subscribe, click the bell and watch this video until the end to know the complete

information.

Here's the 11 warning signs that tell you need a spirit detox immediately.

#1 - You Browse Negative Things.

In this modern age, anything can be found easily using the internet.

Well, if you use the internet to search for negative things, especially for your own satisfaction,

then this could be a sign that your soul is already poisoned by negative things as well.

#2 - Not Thinking Before Speaking.

When your soul is filled with negativity, you tend not to think first of all the things

that you say.

This may make others offended even though you have no intention to hurt them at all.

#3 - People Keep the Distance Away from You.

Have you ever felt people stay away from you for no apparent reason?

You feel you have never wronged them, but they stay away from you.

It may be a sign that you need to detox your soul.

A dirty soul will emit a negative aura, which will make people reluctant to get along with

you.

#4 - You Become Victim in Any Accident.

In almost every problem arising, you always be the culprit.

People tend to blame you for what happened.

Or at least, you see yourself that way.

That means, your soul needs a detox.

Negativity in your soul triggers the emergence of negative thoughts.

#5 - You Feel No Emotion.

Emotion is one of the important things ourselves consist of.

This is what makes human 'a human'.

When you feel like you have no emotion, it means that there's something wrong with

you.

#6 - You Hate Seeing People Happy.

This symptom is one of the worst.

You can't see anyone else happy.

Seeing the happiness of people makes you feel bad, annoyed, and hateful.

If you feel that way, immediately introspect yourself so you don't get trapped too deep

into the world full of negativity.

#7 - You're Glad to See People's Misery.

This is the counterpart of the previous one.

You are happy to see people around you suffering.

It shows that there is something wrong inside you that you lose empathy towards the surroundings.

#8 - You Can't Sleep Well.

It's late midnight, and you are already lying on your bed, but your eyes still wide

open.

Or maybe, you already sleep early at one night, but when you wake up in the morning, you still

feel tired as if you lack of sleep.

This may be a sign that your soul is full of negativity.

Through that, your soul tells you that it needs a detox.

Therefore, a little meditation may solve this problem.

#9 - Feeling Bored All The Time.

This is a chain reaction of the previous problem.

When you can't sleep well, you will easily get bored to anything you do.

You have no spirit and passion to go through your day.

#10 - You Avoid Praying or Meditating.

Praying and meditating is one of the most powerful soul-cleaning methods.

If you begin to be reluctant to do it, even worse you avoid it instead, meaning that negativity

is the only thing to fill your soul.

Negativity blocks the positive flow inside your soul which prevents you to pray and meditate.

#11 - Can't Feel the Fresh Air.

Having too much busyness can break your connection with nature.

Satiety will always cover your life.

Try to occasionally get out of your shell, go to the forest on the edge of town to improve

your connection to nature.

A little fresh air will always be able to solve it.

Well, those are the 11 warning signs that tell it's time to detox your soul.

7 Expectations Renting An Apartment in Madrid (Part 2) - Duration: 9:55.

hi guys welcome back to my channel my name is Kat if you're new and you have

made it to the second part of my video series how to find an apartment in Madrid

without going crazy okay if you haven't already seen the first part of this

video it's all about where to stay in Madrid and also some underrated places

that people like to overlook okay in this video we're going to talk about

some expectations that you should be aware of when looking for an apartment

in Madrid so you can kind of prepare yourself a little bit better about what

you're going to be getting a little disclaimer before I start this is going

to be a very broad generalization not every single department is gonna be like

this and whatever I say is just literally my opinion and it's not law

I'm pretty sure there are people that are going to disagree with what I say

just like Jaime does on every single one of my videos but that is false is

the beautiful thing about living abroad okay so let's just get into the video

the first expectation is the budget the budget is very important in Madrid the

financial experts saying that when you are paying for rent or mortgage you

should try to stay within one third of your overall income so if you're coming

to Madrid as likely are one third of $1,000 is 350 euros 350 euros in Madrid

Center isn't gonna get you diddly squat okay you need to be flexible with your

budget or you to be flexible with your location that you're willing to go a

little bit further out of the most popular areas most auxiliares

that I know pay between 400 to 500 euros a month and get apply it is decent room

most people on top of the $1,000 stipend that they do private lessons most

private lessons you can charge fifteen to twenty two dollars an hour so you can

afford to go a little bit above this 350 budget and I also recommend that you

know you go above 350 I was saying an apartment in the middle of watching this

beautiful apartment for 350 euros I didn't have a door I didn't have a

closet and I didn't have a window okay so is it really a room not really but if

you want to be in the perfect location in a beautiful apartment

that is what 350 is gonna get you if we're lucky and they can find apartments

for cheaper in good locations but it's not the most common thing we have really

good Spanish or you know somebody okay the second thing expectation I want to

talk about is if you're coming from an english-speaking country unless you're a

little bit away from your most apartments in Madrid are a little bit on

the smaller side compared to what maybe we're used to back home but that doesn't

mean you're not gonna find a beautiful apartment in a great location okay my

third expectations are is most part meant to not have

they did not have a dishwasher and most of the washing machines are in the

kitchen as well as some apartments do not have living rooms many investors

especially in high-traffic areas buy apartments that are quite big and

they split the apartment into seven to ten rooms taking out the living room so

all you have access to is your bedroom the kitchen in the bathroom these cases

you can pay a little bit less usually from 400 to 600 for these types of

places but you'll probably be the perfect location and you'll probably

have a pretty modern beautiful apartment as well but you'll also have ten other

roommates it probably just two bathrooms my fourth expectation I want to talk

about our terraces everybody wants a beautiful Spanish terrace I

completely understand I have a lovely one outside the center

Madrid and it's literally just so lovely to have but you do have to

realize that if your budget is on the lower side as an auxiliar it's not

likely you're gonna get a beautiful terrace connected to your bedroom

unless you're willing to pay more for it if this is one of your deal-breakers I

do want to mention the majority of time that you're coming to Madrid is from

October to June most of the time you're not really gonna be enjoying the

terrace cuz it's gonna be winter you have like two months to a few months to

enjoy the terrace is it really worth paying a high premium for a terrace that

you're not gonna use that off my next expectation I want to cover is your

deal-breaker list I mentioned in my other video about how you should be

making a list about your must must must have on your list and you need to cut

that in the third for me in Madrid since it's such a hot city and it's very

difficult to get an apartment I recommend that really is the most

important thing on your list should be metro proximity the location and the

price the other parts of it are not those other things just become wants

instead of needs and the reality is if your only

going to be in Madrid for one year as a study abroad or exchange or as an auxiliar

you're probably gonna be in your apartment 30 to 40 percent of the time

in 60 and 70 percent of time out exploring getting to know people

learning traveling doing all these wonderful things that you do a study

abroad the other things like oh it's ugly furniture are not that important

and also you could buy something like it's your little furniture you know to

stick somewhere IKEA is very near to the city center my sixth expectation are

Spanish roommates okay if you're coming to Madrid it and you are anything like

me you're probably coming super-excited you want to meet Spanish people you want

to speak a lot of Spanish you're gonna be best friends with your new Spanish

roommate you're gonna be the best of pals this is just not the reality at all at all

by seeing this does not mean you're not gonna have a great Spanish for me that

you guys become besties but from my experience and also looking on

the auxiliar page of other people with Spanish roommates that's just not the

reality that you're gonna have you'll have to think about why is it gonna be

like that it's not gonna be like that because they already have their friends

there they have their like you're coming here new excited you want to explore you

what a tour for them this is their home this is everything that to me is so

exciting for you is been there done not seen that my entire life most people are

not that super excited to introduce you to all their friends and in my most

cases I've had, most time you're not speaking to them in spend that often hi

hola que tal? and you go to your room or they go to their room it's not this such

a great Oh our best pals type of experience that you're probably hoping I

hope I'm not turned down all your hopes and dreams but most of the time spanish

roommates there life continues whether you're there or not I'm sure also you're

not the first corner they've met and most people are not that excited to

have a friend just for six to seven months before you leave back to your

home country the most the Spanish people are not gonna meet you and saying oh

great a Florida and my house like let me introduce you to all my spanish friends

let me help you with your Spanish let me just teach you everything about Spain

and your let's just be the best of friends usually that's just not what's

gonna happen even though we would all hope wish and would love for that to

happen it just usually doesn't that doesn't just say that some people don't

have great Spanish for me that they really get along with but usually if

they're not interested in learning English they usually aren't interested

to getting to know you and teaching you all about Spanish life and solving your

problems for you okay my last expectation if you don't take anything

away from this video if you say like I'm absolutely crazy you don't wanna listen

to anything else in this video but one thing that I pray I hope that you listen

is do not live with your landlady or landlord just please don't do it

its literally horrible most of the time when you live with the landlady or

landlord it's you usually have not as nice

experience as if you live with people that are

completely equal to you so it's the difference between living in someone

else's house and living in your own house where everyone is equal and

everybody is the same every time you live with a landlord and it's a better

house everything you do they're gonna take a lot more personal you know break

something something happens here there it's a lot more a lot more personal

whereas life if it's your roommate it's not as big of a deal also I feel like a

lot of landlords like to take advantage of foreigners and

speakers because they're only here for a year they can charge a higher premium

like if you speaker in Spanish that's an advantage but if you don't then you

probably are most likely gonna get taken advantage if you live with your landlord

and in my opinion it makes a lot of sense because if you're a Spanish person

and you don't speak English why would you prefer to rent out of room to an

English speaker who doesn't speak Spanish / a Spanish person there's

plenty of Spanish people looking for apartments why would they choose you for

that it's usually because they want to charge a higher premium okay that's all

I have for you guys today in my next video I'm gonna be talking about once

you actually have the apartment what to actually say and what to do so you can

be 100% prepared for when you are getting your New apartment so don't forget to smash

the like button and I will see you in the next video bye

We don't care anymore. - Duration: 16:40.

Such a weird video...

Hi there my name is Melody and welcome back to another video

it's been a while

it seems like all my videos have been starting with "it's been a while"

this is my new sentence apparently but anyway

I wanted to sit here today

this is a very ghetto setup it's kind of funny because this is where

I thought I would start recording my videos again because if you noticed

if you've watched the previous videos the background in those videos was a bit

messy which I really can't do much about I've explained before I have a small

space very hard to organize regardless

this is going to be a little bit more of a serious video

and please do bear with me

I'm going to try to keep my emotions down and just talk

I'm recording this video with a heavy heart

and it's been a few days since I've gotten these news

and it gave me time to digest and to

know how to speak though I don't really know where this is going and I apologize

if I'm a little bit all over my... like all over the place

bear with me please

so I have a little bit of a story to tell you

a few years ago we were caught up in the situation

that the landlord of the area in which we live

decided to sell this whole area, we're not really sure what for

and let me put you into perspective this is a very old area

my grandma has been here for over 50 years and

that's half a century, that's a really long time and

I was born into this place, my mom was born into this place,

a few of my uncles and aunts were born into this place

my grandma had five kids so we're a big family

so we were all born into this place; my cousins, my godmother, my closest family

and the kids that were born now, my tiny little ones, we were all born into this place

why am I telling you this? About one two weeks ago, we got a letter

telling us that we have to leave this place until the end of the year.

When the landlord sold this place we already knew that this was going to be demolished

all of these houses are going down and we already knew that but

that was over ten years ago.

A few weeks ago we got the letter that we have to leave this place

and it hit us all like a rock we were...

emotions are taking over it

It hit all like a rock, we weren't sure of what you think and

when we went to court, what was stipulated was

when this place was going to be demolished, we were supposed to be getting a new house

now... we are staying in the same block because part of this block is...

they actually can't demolish it because it's someone else's property and

we're moving down to that block but

regardless of staying here,

it hit me that these walls and these bricks and all of that,

they're not just a house.

my makeup is going to be melting away throughout this video

do bear with me, please.

I'm just... I'm just trying to get my point across and

I'll try...

I'll try to keep my emotions down.

So, what I was saying

it hit me that these walls and this concrete and these bricks,

they're not just a house; this is where I was born into

I've been here all my life

and it's quite hard to realize that,

at the end of this year, all this is actually coming down

and this house that I've been living in and that I've had all these moments in

is not going to be here any more

and it's going to be a permanent thing

it's never going to be here again.

Honestly, we live in this world where houses are just houses at this point.

We can be in a place for a year and then

completely move to another place in another year and houses are just houses

they're a bunch of bricks and cement and walls and windows and

they're just a place, you know, where you live you do your daily life and then if you have to

move to another place in a year time or two years or three years you go but

there's certain places that aren't just houses; they're your home.

That saying of "home is where your heart is"; there's always that one place

there's always a place that is going to have your heart

be it a house or just like a field, be it a bench in the middle of a park, be whatever but

there's always that one place that is going to have your heart and if that place

suddenly vanishes it's like your heart is being taken away.

So, we live in this world where everything is disposable

and people's lives are disposable and memories are disposable and houses and places and everything is

disposable and it hit me that we're becoming so unattached to things that

to a certain extent it's actually scary because nothing has meaning anymore and

places that have been there for years, don't really matter anymore in this

capitalistic world that money is all that matters.

And I think what we have to take out of the situation

out of this sad situation that put me in tears on

this channel and apologize for being so emotional and all over the place

I think what we have to take out of this situation is that we are indeed becoming unattached

and we don't care anymore about other people's lives and

we don't care about their emotions,

we don't care about what things mean to them

and this goes especially for people that only search for money

and the poorer you are the worst and it only gets worse but that's for another time.

We don't care about things anymore.

Then there's these situations that hit us like a rock

and make us realize that we don't care.

We're just out here living our lives and

we don't care about who's living in that one house

and if that one house has has 100 years old and if it's seen the street change over the years

and if people have been passing by years upon years

and if the one person that lived on that house had this love story

with someone else that was beautiful and they're still married...

We don't care about those things.

We don't have to care.

...but there's things that we should care about

there's memories we should care about

and there's places that we should cherish instead of just

demolishing them and completely taking away all of these memories and all these

situations that have happened there

because every place in this world has a meaning,

be a house or a park or just a tree.

Everything has a meaning

and if those things are taken away just because of money,

just because... capitalistic reasons...

that is very sad

and that that's making our world become more and more sad.

I'm just all over the place in this video but I think moral of the story is

that a house is more than a house,

it's a home.

and to take things away from people, to take memories away from people and to take special places away from people

places that have been there for years and that could continue there for years

and that could see the world change and remain still there

...to take those away for capitalistic reasons is quite...

It's quite awful,

and I don't think that that should be the world we live in.

We should care more.

We should care about people, we should care about places, we should care about keeping things that are important

regardless of how they may not seem important to us

and every day on the news we see this really old cafe being closed down because someone wants to build a hotel there

I realize that certain things are important for economy

and the world has to evolve, I understand that.

I understand that and I support that

but it's getting to an extent that we don't care.

We take away things that are important to build things that are not as important

because you could 100% take those houses that are crumbling down

and rebuild them and make gorgeous hostels and make gorgeous hotels out of those.

You don't need to delve into people's lives and to take away what is theirs to improve your status

or to get more money in your bank account.

And it's this lack of caring that scares me and that makes me very sad

and I see these people and I I'm feeling it in my own skin,

regardless of how we're going to be fine...

I'm feeling it in my own skin and it's half of my heart that is being taken away

and

and you don't realize how things matters so much to you until you're being stripped of them.

I think I'm going to actually go ahead in this video

because I'm just sitting here, in front of the camera and crying

and I apologize for being so all over the place in this video

it was quite weird... I don't know if this is going up or not

but regardless

thank you for

thank you for listening to my rambling

this is a sad situation and I'm crying but

I'm going to be fine, we're going to be fine, not in this place anymore but

we're going to be okay and everything is going to be okay

and

I'm sure that in a few years I'll be okay

and we're moving to a better place, of course.

This house is slowly crumbling down as I've said a million times, I think, in previous videos

but, right now, these crumbling walls are still my home.

So yeah, on a happy note, we're not going to have to deal with this mess anymore

when we moved to the new house, I will make sure to set up a better place to record and to put out content.

On that note, I do want to pick up this channel again

I'm working hard to pick it up again in the next month and

hopefully in the next month

and I want to thank you again for watching this video and for listening to my rambling

and for staying here and

I apologize for this very emotional video, this is not something that I do on this channel

although you have seen me cry on this channel on this channel before

this is not something that I do and I apologize.

I just needed to sit down and pour out my heart

and to let all of this that has been inside my chest for the longest time

just to let it out and to put out my thoughts.

So, on that note,

thank you so much for watching

again, I'm sorry

and I hope you... well, I can't say I hope you enjoyed this video because it would be awkward but regardless

I hope you come back in the next video? I don't know.

I'll have stuff out in the next few months, I'm sure.

So, thank you so much for staying here and

I'll see you in the next video and

Bye.

Hey, so, I changed my shirt and all that and

I realized that I had this like really funny...

well, not really funny but

I had this joke about how my hair fell off and

the video was so all over the place that I didn't really remember to

actually go ahead and say it so

completely missed it.
