Waching daily Oct 13 2018

hey guys today I have a special video for you this is a throwback video today

you're gonna see one of the first times we ever met Jim and May when they agreed

to take us out to street food spoiler alert

the food was delicious of course this was filmed right before I started my

intensive Spanish classes and watching the footage back was so hilarious to me

watch and see if you can tell just how terrified I was and overwhelmed and

understanding nothing um and trying so hard so it's it's been so interesting to

me to watch this back and realize how much progress I've made since then also

this was before Jesse got a haircut so he has so much hair and a big giant beard

so that is quite something and at the end of the video I'm going to link to a

another collab video that we did where Jim and May introduced me to a

ton of Mexican candies that May picked out so it's it was hilarious and I'm

curious to see the video too because I don't know how Jim is gonna edit it but

I do remember saying a lot of embarrassing things okay so let's get

going and don't forget to subscribe to this channel and go subscribe to Jim and

May's channel too okay roll tape! - hey guys we are on our way

to meet our new friends Jim and May and to get some street food you guys this is

something that I have wanted to do ever since we

got to Mexico

I wanted to have someone who speaks Spanish go with me and get street food

and teach me how to do this the right way because usually when we're in a

restaurant there's a printed menu I do okay I've got enough of a reading

vocabulary of food words that I can figure things out but for street stalls

there's you know often not a menu and I don't really know how to ask like what

do you have what do I what's good what should I eat here

so today Jim and May agreed to help me and I am so excited also we were walking

down here and we went through a little alley that has an art show today and

there is all this beautiful art it's so cool

happy Saturday let's go

so you may know Jim and May from their YouTube channel Spanish and Go I have

been a subscriber for a while now when we were first in San Miguel

like we could not even properly order food at a restaurant without just

pointing to the menu so I would actually watch their videos about how to order

food in Mexico and take screenshots of the things that they said and take it

with me to the restaurant and then Jesse and I would sit there at the table

and practice out the lines so that we would know what to say when the waiter

came to take our order so actually it was really helpful and another thing

that I really liked about watching their videos is that it helped me to know what

the questions might be that I might get asked once I know what somebody is

likely to ask me then I can kind of figure it out if it's a question that

I've never heard before I'm just like so watching their videos was really helpful

with that too so Jesse and Harper are chasing some pigeons while we sit here

in this beautiful Plaza it's Plaza San Fernando. Jim and May are here

they're going to take us to tasty stuff! oh look we can get everybody in how cool is that

so I've been I've been telling them all about how I would like screen shot your

videos and take them to restaurants. and now I have them! I don't even have to take a screen shot, I just take you with me. This is awesome.

All right, hungry? Listo? Yes. Si, listo. Vamos!

all right, so we are here at the deliciousness

I think first we should tell you some phrases okay okay the most

important thing is like when you go to a place like a little booth then sometimes

they have things that you don't know right like you were saying

so you can ask que y que tiene it's like what and what do you have

(repeating que y que tiene) And then she's just gonna tell you like

quesadillas, or tlacoyos, or gorditas, like whatever. Now, tlacoyo...

I've never had that and that's another thing I don't know how to say it so I

don't ever order anything so it's like um

do you know what a sope is? yes so a tlacoyo is almost the same but it's like

like shaped like this and it's like folded and sometimes they

put beans inside aha so it's like a tortilla that they fold with beans

inside so it's like oval shaped and then they put it on the grill thing that

they have and then you can have it with I don't know they have like meat and

stuff like you can order it with ok sometimes they put cheese on it but it

depends on the the person who's selling how do I say that's another one of my

problems so if I ask you know what meats do you have and then you know I might

catch the first one and the last one and then all the ones in the middle just go... I can't keep up!

You can say, lento por favor

we're going to try here and see how it goes, maybe you can ask first, que y que tiene

and then lento por favor

all right, let's try this

those are the tlacoyos, oh those look so good, those look so good

May speaking Spanish

that was so fast, oh my gosh

that's another thing that is very intimidating these kind of these kind of

like food places because I don't know what they're going to ask me

que y que tiene?

Gorditas, tlacoyos, quesadillas

all right, I order now? Okay

it just wasn't for us it just didn't work everybody around us

seemed to be digging it and it's not a lifestyle

so that was difficult

this is like life right now hold on let me take a bite of this yeah

tell the camera what you're tasting deliciousness okay this is tlacoya...tlacoyo! If I

had a magic wand to get the genders right that would be like oh my gosh

yeah but you can just do take two and cut the first one yeah I know okay and this one is potato

and this is the thing about Mexican food is like the potatoes are so stinking

good like how can something with just plain potatoes be

oh good there's some kind of magic stuff that they put on the potato

this one has rajas and some meat, some shredded meat

I have um yeah many segments of the vlog of me eating stuff and it going everywhere, these are really good I think that this is gonna

be our new go to. I knew when she ordered it this was gonna be a good thing

okay let me try the gordita

okay this one is more potato also it has beans and cheese

it's a different type of cheese that's more like queso fresco

and this one is like, the one for the tlacoyos is more like a melty cheese, yeah mmm! it's so good. I'm just going to get potato

everything potato all the things with the potatoes and this is chicharron

chicharron prencado

which means I have no idea it kind of looks like mole and tastes

a little bit like that

I saw a commercial on TV for boxed mole and it was like all the families around

are so happy you made box mole! so okay so if you if you are not following them

on Instagram you need to like right now because I've learned so much from your Instagram

and then yesterday or the day before? anyway recently they showed how

you're supposed to roll up the tortilla but good thing is that I didn't even know I was

supposed to roll up the tortilla like when you get a meal so when you have

something that is more like a stir fry like a guisado, explain that because I've seen it on menus and I don't know what it is

it's a weird term because it can be like anything prepared like like potatoes you had, that's a guisado, the chicharron prensado, that's a guisado, the rajas, that's a guisado

you've also explained it to me as like stir-fried yeah okay so anything that you can prepare... it's a big term for

lots of different... yes. if you get a guisado, you would usually eat it with

the tortillas okay so instead of using a spoon I don't know if you've noticed

in Mexico we use just like the tortilla as some people use bread, we use tortilla

when you're eating like a soup or something that is more liquidy that you

can't just grab with the tortilla so you're gonna want to roll it into like a

little taco and then eat it just like

see? so useful!

another thing that I was gonna say is like in these situations like it is so

it's so stressful to not understand what is going on and I feel like every time

every time I do it it gets a little bit easier the next time yeah and then I can

be like okay now I know what a tlacoyo is, now I can order that all the time

it's just it's so like I feel like that's the thing for me being here and not knowing the language and not being able to just ask

right like another thing in the states there's like a million things I

don't know but I can just ask like how am I supposed to eat this? or I've never had this before I've never

what am I supposed to do with this? or is this the right door to

go into or but not being able to ask right so the double like it's a double

whammy of not knowing anything and not being able to ask like what do I do here

a very useful phrase would be like, que es? like when the lady was

walking with a little baby I asked like okay que es? es un Santo? is it a saint? so then she explained to me

what it was so if you walk by and then you see someone spelling like the people

here selling the guacamayas we don't know what it was but it's a torta and

they put a piece of chicharron and egg inside and like some pico de gallo but

we asked, que es? what is that? what's in it? que tiene?

and then lento, mas lento por favor!

like in situations like today where there's a bunch of people

it's so scary, it's stressful

you can do it! with practice

practice practice practice

Another good one is like, me lo puedes repetir

me lo puedes repetir, can you repeat that for me?

Okay we're here to get ice cream.

May tells me that Jim does not like sweets

it's how he keeps his girlish figure

because if he did, we would be eating sweets all the time

so he's like, we don't need it

I'm like, yeah you're right

but fortunately now you're here with me, yeah, and I do not have that problem

okay so there's like a million flavors here look at this I'm just gonna get one of

everything

this is so good! oh we didn't even ask what's in it

raisins, nuts, maybe rum?

it's so good

I got mamey, have you had mamey fruit? mmhmm, it's so good, it's my favorite

it's so pretty, yeah yeah, so pretty

Jesse has a new best friend and Harper is like why are you not paying attention to me

thanks for watching guys

Top 10 Scariest SCP Creatures - Part 3 - Duration: 11:43.

This is definitely becoming a series now and it makes me very happy.

I could talk about the SCP Foundation all day but this is the closest Ill ever come

to it.

If you havent seen the first two videos Ive done on this subject then you really should

check them out.

I know you might think that Im saying that just so we get views but honestly - I mean

it for you guys because weve talked about some really scary creatures so far.

Ill be honest, I was worried I wouldnt be able to find any scarier anomolies to talk

about but whatever you find in the SCP archives, theres always something scarier.

This will be the best one yet.

My name is Danny Burke and this is the 10 Scariest SCP Creatures Part 3.

Before we get into it, lets quickly talk about my beard.

Its been a topic of discussion for a couple of years now and so I thought Id let you know

about the Kings Men Beard Club.

They are who I would recommend if you have a beard, if youre growing a beard or maybe

you even want to adopt a beard - whatever the beard, their products are perfect.

Heres some products they gave me, weve got the Holy Grain Oil and Balm.

I feel great, I smell even better - if you want to feel and smell better too then check

out kingsmenbeardclub.com

Starting off at number 10 we have SCP 354[a].

354 is a pool of red liquid discovered in northern Canada.

Its consistency is similar to human blood, giving it the nickname of Blood Pond.

Tests have shown though that the pool is not of biological nature.

So far, a bottom to the pool has not been found.

An zone has been constructed around it to protect the public known as Area 354.

In this area, the foundation has observed entities emerge from the pool and attempt

to escape from the enclosure.

Almost every creature has been extremely hostile and highly dangerous.

Its rumoured than 354 was first discovered by survivors of a plane crash in the area

who happened upon it by chance.

354 has already developed into a local urban legend long before the foundation discovered

and contained it.

So far, they have been largely success in contain the creatures that emerge from the

pool and have only lost a few personnel though.

Without understanding what 354 is though, there is always the worry that something truly

horrific will one day emerge from Blood Pond …

Moving on to number 9 now we have SCP 221[b].

221 is a pair of gold tweezers from the 16th or 17th century.

Researchers removed parts of the tweezer for testing and when they came back later, they

found it had somehow restored the gold they had taken.

Its theorized that 221 uses minute amounts of gold in the human body to regenerate itself.

221 causes OCD in any person who uses it on their own body.

They will slowly remove all the hair from their body with the tweezer - but they wont

stop there.

Soon, they will use 221 to remove fingernails and toenails, then teeth, and then they will

use it to remove their own organs.

They will start with eyes and skin and then move on to the liver and pancreas.

If they cant use 221 to remove them, they may use their own hands.

If 221 is taken away from the person, they will become violent and manic, using their

hands to finish the job they started.

It affects different people in different ways but if nobody intervenes, 221 will eventually

be the end of anyone who comes into contact with it.

Moving on to number 8 we have SCP 695.[c] To the untrained eye, 695 resembles a parasitic

eel.

It has a multi stage life cycle and uses humans as its primary host.

They 10 - 15 cm creatures have fully translucent skin and bones.

Adult will attempt to enter male human hosts when they are present or around infested waters.

695 enters the human body via the mouth, nose, anus or urethra.

Once inside the body, 695 burrows itself into the nervous or reproductive system and begins

its gestation.

During this time, the subject will experience twitching, burning, intense thirst, light

sensitivity, hallucinations and increased aggression.

This will most likely cause them to attack a nearby female in the most heinous ways imaginable

and causing 695 to spread to the next victim ....

Moving on to number 7 we have 001.[d] This is said to be a humanoid entity approximately

700 cubits in height.

It is currently being contained in an undisclosed location near the intersection of the Tigris

and Euphrates rivers.

Because security is tight, there isnt too much we know about 001 - but this is whats

been gathered.

It has a number of luminous, wing like appendages that burst out of its shoulders, back, temples,

ankles and wrists.

The strange thing about the wings is that nobody can agree how many there are, some

say 2 while others have claimed to see 108.

001 carries a weapon, possibly a sword or a knife - either way, it emits flames at temperatures

close to the surface of the sun.

Despite this, the heat does not seem to damage any of the surrounding area - however, any

entity that approaches within 1km of 001 is immediately struck by the weapon and removed

from existence.

Some think that 001 is an Angel of the apocalypse, mention in the texts of many Abrahamic religions.

The founder of the SCP says he made the organisation after an encounter with 001 in which the being

told him to -PREPARE- … then, he set about cataloging and containing any supernatural

beings that pose a threat to humanity …

Coming in at number 6 we have SCP 096[e].

This SCP is described as a humanoid creature measuring approximately 2.38m in height.

It has very little muscle mass, possibly due to malnutrition.

At first glance, the most noticeable thing is its arms which are said to be grossly out

of proportion with the rest of its body.

Its skin is devoid of pigmentation and covered with almost no body hair.

Things get even weirder though - 096 is said to be able to open its jaw four times the

norm of an average human, its eyes are featureless and the foundation isnt sure if 096 is blind

or not.

When left alone, 096 appears to be very docile, spending most of its time against a wall.

That all changes though when anyone sees its face - if that happens, it will become emotionally

distressed.

You don't even have to see it directly, even seeing a video recording or photo of its face

will cause 096 to cover its face and begin screaming, crying and babbling incoherently.

It will then begin running to the person who saw it and wont stop until it finds them and

kills them.

So far it has a 100% sucess rate.

After the killing, 096 will sit down, calm down and become docile once again …

Next up at number 5 we have SCP 555[f].

555 is a metal cylinder with rounded ends, 1.25 centimeters and 8cm long, similar to

a magnet commonly fed to cattle to prevent disease.

It emits a mysterious energy fields with seems to attract dead human tissue.

This includes hair separated from the body, corpses, shed skin cells and in some extreme

cases - layers of skin.

555 attracts dead human tissue with a greater force if there is more dead human tissue around.

It was originally found in a cemetery in California.

The foundation was alerted to a possible SCP after a coffin due to be buried was pulled

right out of the pallbearers grip and landed on the grave of someone who died in 1948.

It was found that all of the surround coffins had been pulled towards the coffin with the

555 inside - and it has been kept by the foundation for study ever since …

Moving on to number 4 we have SCP 895.[g] 895 is an oak coffin - I wish I could say

that was the creepiest part but it gets worse.

It was found in a Mortuary and was reported to the foundation after unusual behaviour

was noticed.

The staff staff said that they didnt know where 895 came from or how it was transported

to the mortuary.

When agents attempted it to open 895, they found it empty.

However, they soon noticed that is causes disruptions in video and photographic surveillance

equipment within 50 meters - these are disturbing hallucinations with varying durations and

regularity.

These get worse the closer the camera is.

Within a range of 5 meters from 895, the footage captured can cause severe psychological trauma

and hysteria to most subjects.

All of this does not affect observers who are physically near 895, only the ones watching

the footage …

Next up at number 3 we have SCP 426[h].

I am SCP 426 - if youre wondering why Im saying I am SCP 426, well, thats one of the weird

things about this SCP - it can only be spoken about in the 3rd person.

Its impossible for anyone to talk about me in the 3rd person, as you can see right now.

The strange thing is that I am just an ordinary toaster, able to toast bread when supplied

with electricity.

However, if a person is in the continuous presence of me for over two months, they begin

to identify themselves as a toaster.

Unless forcibly restrained, these people will ultimately harm themselves in their attempts

to become an ordinary toaster.

The SCP foundation found me in a home where some of the family had died.

I was given to them in a box with no card or no markings.

The daughter of the family had died from electric discharge while trying to devour an electric

socket.

The Mother was found dead after gorging herself on nearly 10kg of bread before her stomach

burst and she died of internal bleeding.

I was confiscated by the Foundation after police noted my unusual properties.

Moving on to number 2 we have SCP 1959[i].

1959 is an unmarked soviet space suit that is in a continuous orbit around Earth.

At first they thought it was an inanimate object - but then it appeared to be moving.

The suit resembles a Soviet SK-1 model used in the Vostok Program.

It is in good condition except for the visor which is badly damaged and misted over, preventing

any observation of its interior.

The foundation first detected considerable amounts of gamma radiation emanating from

it.

1959 remains motionless for long periods of time but then, randomly, it moves erratically

- it appears to be in great distress and thrashes everywhere, trying to break its own visor.

The suit seems to be indestructible and can ram through any obstacle it encounters.

All attempts to communicate with 1959 have failed.

The foundation believes that 1959 is a well known soviet astronaut whos mission ended

in disaster - now some dark force keeps him orbiting Earth forever and prevents him from

taking his own life …

And finally at number 1 have SCP 957[j].

957 is a humanoid entity currently residing in a house in Kentucky under the Foundations

overvation.

The creature is about 2m in height and weighs 75kg.

One of the most startling first impressions is that it has no internal organs.

It also appears to not require any food, water or sleep.

By talking to and observing 957 - the Foundation has figured out what it does.

957 will always live in a house inhabited by a single human.

When that human dies, it will instantly appear in the nearest house with a single human.

Once it has its target, 957 will force the human through a portal in its chest cavity

where they will remain for 4 hours before emerging.

After this, the human will be missing its eyes and large chunks of its memory.

They will believe that they have been blind all of their life and that 957 is actually

a close family member or friend.

They will show affection for 957 but never touch them.

Once a month, they will go into crowded area and beg people for help.

Once they get another person back to their house, 957 will reduce them to a pile or organs

and burn the rest of them in the fire.

Then, their life will continue for another month before they repeat the whole process

again

Spyderco Dragonfly 2 EDC Knife Review - Duration: 12:46.

hey everybody Jake here and today we're taking a look

at the Spyderco dragonfly 2. this is an FRN model with vg-10 steel you can get

upgraded models but this is the one I'll be taking a look at today so let's go

ahead and jump into it we'll go over some size comparisons like mutual

dislike and then I give you a conclusion on this thing all right on to the size

comparisons first so I'm gonna go and kind of small to large order so here's

the Victorinox classic which is a very very small knife so you can see it is

smaller than the dragonfly of course the Dragonfly is a small knife but it is not

that small here it is next to the Kershaw launch 4 for I compare the

dragonfly to the launch for a lot in my review of that knife and I prefer this

one quite a bit as you'll see in the review much much more favorable very

popular small knife here the CRKT Pilar or pilar I'm not sure

it's Spanish I believe so very very similar size here extremely close the

biggest difference that you'll notice between these two is gonna be the weight

the materials and the cost most of which favor the dragonfly there. onto two

slightly different size comparisons this is another smaller knife that I picked

up recently the Kaiser Feist pretty similar size overall I don't see just

mentioned a lot when these small knives come into play but very very similar

size on that and a knife in a somewhat similar issue price range

this is the tangrams vector it's a little bit larger not a whole lot though

different materials and you know maybe out $15 cheaper not a huge price

difference between those two alright let's go ahead and get into what we like

about it alright first thing up is the blade shape I love Spyderco like

leaf shaped blades these are awesome awesome awesome

awesome they cut very very well this is a flat grind

very very thin blade stock it's like 0.1 you know inches so very very thin very

good at slicing very high flat grind with a really really nice point for

piercing it isn't ridiculously pokey but it's pretty good and the blade shapes

just great the ergo on this thing are fantastic as well you can see the

blade and the handle good form a finger choil cutouts in the handle I wish these

protruded a little bit more but it's not a huge deal in a little bit here so

basically when you when you grip it get a grip here you can grip here and a

little bit on the tail there and your thumb locks right in here on this

jimping and it is great the only complaint I have there goes ergo is it

feels a little hollow here wish they'd brought it out maybe a tenth of an inch

or something like that just to kind of fill those two fingers a

little bit better but it locks in very very well and there aren't really any

you know super bad hotspots or anything if you're bearing down maybe the thumb

jimping is a little sharp but it's kind of meant to being eyes can get a grip on

it the champing on this knife is great

there's jimping on the back of the blade here on the scales here but it is

smooth on the liner there's a little bit here as well and then the texturing on

the handles is is wonderful you can see it's kind of a shingle looking pattern

and they're all kind of pointing towards the Spyderco logo which the clip

actually rests on on this side or this side the clip is reversible and it's

deep carry there's a little bit of the knife that's gonna be sticking on your

pocket but you probably kind of want that with a knife this small these

Spyderco wire clips are fantastic and this one's super super unobtrusive very

minimal I get a lot clip on this is really really nice and that little

finger ramp there makes it very easy to grab that and pull it out of your pocket

love that to death the size and weight on this thing is the last thing on the

like list so the size is very very small and the weight is very very light this

is one point three ounces this is next to nothing you barely feel it and that's

mainly because it only you know metal parts on it or the hardware so it screws

in clip the blade and then that back lock which

you can see in there and right there there are no liners there are no washers

nothing like that to add any weight to the blade which means that it's you know

you can you can get some flex if you really really try you can you know flex

it a little bit but it's very very sturdy honestly the weight and the sides

are just about perfect for what I would consider it's like a small EDC knife

onto the neutral so first thing up fit and finish it's not bad it's it's not

but it's not that great either it's not really blowing me away there are a few

little gaps and things like that but it's it's not bad the knife does not

feel cheap despite the cheap material as far as

like the handle is concerned now it feels you know fairly well made no blade

play or anything like that it's consistent it's it's reliable it's just

not blowing me away which at this price you know a few years ago I would have

expected that but recently a lot of companies have stepped up their game and

we'll get that speaking of price the price on this is 60 dollars and 42 cents

on blade HQ right now I did pick this up used for like 35 I think which is a much

more compelling price to me but that $60 isn't completely unreasonable if you're

looking for something like this I will say I don't I prefer this over the CRKT

Pilar but at the moment on blade HQ you can get a CRKT Pilar are with carbon

fiber shows at scale and s35vn steel for I believe 60 or 70 dollars between those

two it's probably gonna be the Pilar are for me that steel is just much much

better especially at that price carbon fibers knives it's gonna weigh a little

bit more it's gonna be a bit more beefy especially when it comes to like the

blade stock the Pilar is much much much thicker so it really depends on what

you're wanting but if it were down to those two and I could only pick one to

EDC for the rest of my life probably the Pilar but this is this is not a bad

knife has $60 but I think they brought this down to about 40 it

would be ten times better but of course Spyderco is certainly not gonna be

dropping any prices anytime soon so you can't open and close this knife

with one hand the action is okay you can open it slowly you can most the time get

with the thumb flick sometimes it it'll misfire for me you cannot get it with

middle finger flick as far as I can tell that's kind of consequence of the back

lock the action all needs back lock spider codes is never all that good I

have several of them this the best action I've had with a backlog spider it

was probably the centofante 3 it's super reliable if you can get a

good grip on it you can do a middle finger flick kind of hard with that

handle but this one's not fantastic I'm not a huge fan of back locks this one is

very very sturdy though it's not going to you know close on you or anything

like that very little well there's no lock play or anything like that and you

can you know you can open it with one hand and you can reach down here and

press that enemies and play it a little bit and close at one hand as well which

is usually what I do so the action is fine it's just not anything special onto

the dislike really only two things here so the first one for me is if you

watched my unboxing of this video I did the disassembly as well now the reason I

did a disassembly is because this knife was used I wanted to clean it so you

know I took it apart back locks in general for me have just been massive

pains to disassemble and this one was no exception however you can just pop how

the pivot you know clean out around the blade and put it back in you don't

necessarily have to disassemble the back lock but if you're going to do a full

disassembly keep that in mind next up is the material these handles are FRN and

the steel is VG-10 as you can see there so these are not horrible

materials and you can get upgraded versions but there

cost you you can get the steel in a ZDP 189 which is much better steel it is

gonna take it up by about $25 day which is not cheap that's a lot of money or

you can get it in the same steel with g10 handles for 47 more dollars that is

the stupidest thing I've ever heard of in my entire life they add a little bit

more steel but I mean that's ridiculous it's a hundred and seven dollars for a

vg10 blade on a cheatin dragonfly that's ridiculous

if you're gonna get one if you're a steel snob go for the you know zdp I

really don't care on a small everyday carry a knife like this I would just go

with this version but the materials at that price they're just not doing it for

me especially when you have competition coming in and just destroying these like

the new sivb knives for $60 you can get the akela or whatever it is in you know

g10 and vg-10 much larger knife but I digress I want to go on a rant here but

the price for the materials are getting just is not that great they really need

to step up the material game or cut down the price one onto the conclusion in

conclusion I really really like this knife if you can pick it up for 40

dollars or less grab it for 60 I don't know about that

that's that's a lot of money especially nowadays when you have Chinese companies

coming in and you know undercutting these knives and examples the tanker

vector not as nice steel but you have aluminum handles it's a button lock

there's more material here warranties not nearly as good but it's just getting

hard to justify this price if it were made in America I understand that adds a

little bit of price to these things if were made in the Golden Colorado Factory

$60 I I could deal with all day but this is made in Seki City Japan which all of

my Spyderco have actually been from Japan which is interesting how to think

about that the fit and finish isn't bad but it's not amazing the materials

aren't amazing and the price is high especially for what you're getting price

is unreasonable but it is high you can pick one these up for about $20 less

than retail around 40 or less I say go for it

I'm very interesting very very nice small EDC knife is it's a fantastic

utilitarian blade shape really really ergonomic handle I really really like

this knife I just wish it were a lot cheaper that's it for this one thanks

introduction.(Home Macaques) - Duration: 1:28.

Hello everyone!

In these latter days, there were a lot of questions in social media and youtube

about the upbringing and maintenance of such animals as macaques at home

We have decided to come to the next level of communication

We will try to film a wide spectrum of videos

in which we will tell you how we have got these babies

how to feed them in a right way, how to maintain them and how to go for a walk.

There is no doubt that we are not pretending to be the greatest specialists in this sphere

but we can share with you our own practice about living with these animals at one house.

In the first video-blogs we are going to tell you about the appearance of every baby at our home

We will tell you how Semyon, Motya, Masha and Eva appeared

These videos will show you what kind of character they had at the beginning and how they were accustoming to us

We also will tell you about our way to communicate with them

We will be glad to see you in our comments and to answer your questions

See you later in our videos

Goodbye!

How To Make Homemade Basil Pesto with Almonds ~ Easy Pesto Sauce Recipe - Duration: 3:20.

It's the end of the garden season and time to harvest the basil. I'm Tess and

today I'm making basil pesto. Stay tuned!

(intro music)

I harvested all of my basil today and

I'm making some pesto to freeze. I freeze my pesto in small freezer bags in 1/2

cup portions. I use basil pesto in a variety of dishes. I put it on potatoes,

rice, pasta, sandwiches, wraps, meats, pizza, in dips, salad dressing, soup, stews and

the list goes on. Basil pesto is a required ingredient in my pantry and it

is real easy to make. So let's get started. One of the ingredients of basil

pesto is nuts. Typically, you will see pesto made with pine nuts but they can

be a bit pricey. I'm using almonds but you can use any nuts or combo of nuts

that you like. I think almonds have a nice mild flavor and blend nicely with

the pesto. To get the maximum flavor I'm toasting the almonds in a dry low heat

pan for about 3 to 5 minutes. Be careful not to burn. I'm using my food processor

to blend everything together. I have my fresh basil that I rinsed, drained and

let dry. I'm adding in my toasted almonds. salt and black pepper, a couple cloves of

garlic, a good handful of parmigiano Reggiano cheese and I couldn't find the

block of cheese so I had to buy the pregrated, and a little squeeze of lemon juice.

And that's it! The only other ingredient is the olive oil. It is

important to choose a good extra virgin olive oil when making pesto as it adds a

good bit of flavor. I'm adding a little right now to get everything start to

combine in the food processor and then I will add more as the pesto breaks down.

I like my pesto to be a little thick and almost like a paste.

I like to pulse the pesto in the food processor and then run on full speed for

about 30 seconds. I'm drizzling in the olive oil until the pesto starts to form.

I stop the processor and scrape down the sides and to check the consistency of

the pesto. And then I processed again until the pesto was smooth.

And this is what the basil pesto looks like. I ended up making four batches and

my kitchen smells amazing. I just love the smell of basil and it is one of my

favorite herbs. Most large grocery stores have bunches of fresh basil available.

You can always cut this recipe in half. Buy a bunch or two of basil and givea

pesto a try... and enjoy.
