Autobusy elektryczne w Jaworznie / Electric buses in Jaworzno - Duration: 19:21.
We are heading to Jaworzno, one of the pioneers of electric bus transport in Poland.
In this episode we will get to know the fleet,
infrastructure
and organizational measures necessary for efficient operation of electric buses network
in a medium-sized city.
We will also learn about the operational parameters of transport
that have been achieved in Jaworzno.
This is a very important topic for Poland,
where in the coming years more than 800 electric buses will appear in bus transport.
Let's watch!
Electric buses in Jaworzno
Jaworzno is a city in the Silesian Voivodeship,
lying in line between Katowice and Krakow.
Nevertheless, it is closer to center of Katowice,
there is a distance of about 22 kilometers between both cities.
Jaworzno is a medium-sized city
with 92,000 inhabitants,
but it is very extensive.
Its area is 152 square kilometers,
making it a 14th city in the country in this respect.
This factor and location in close proximity to other cities
have decided about the shape of public transport network,
in which this year will be made almost 5 million vehicle-kilometers.
Today there are 28 bus lines operating in the city,
including 5 interurban and 2 night lines.
Jaworzno, as one of the first Polish cities,
has bravely invested in electric buses.
Fleet of Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacji Miejskiej,
ie a city transport operator
- has 69 vehicles,
and every third is an electric bus.
Currently, there are 24 electric buses in operation,
the majority of which are Solaris vehicles.
The smallest 4 buses are 8.9 meters long.
They are low-entry buses, have stairs behind the second door
and a motor and batteries are built below the deck.
Twelve meters in rolling stock are the third and fourth generation Urbino 12,
two- and three-door vehicles.
In total there are 10 of them.
The largest ones are 18-meters-long articulated buses in the number of 9.
In them, the batteries occupy the largest amount of passenger space,
which in practice means 5 seats less in the rear part of the vehicle.
Nominal range of vehicles on one charge ranges between 100 and 150 kilometers,
but the key here are pantograph chargers on loops
and pantographs on the roofs of buses,
allowing vehicles to work all day long.
What is worth knowing, the oldest 12-meters-long electrobus
in over three years of operation has already traveled over 240,000 kilometers.
This is the largest mileage of Solaris electric bus.
Smallest Solaris buses service, among others, newly launched lines 372 and 373.
At one of the loops, near Hospital, there is a pantograph charger for their service.
Interestingly, entry into the loop was secured against cars by a barrier
and only vehicles identified by RFID reader can pass it,
which means that the vehicle is identified by radio frequency.
The aforementioned lines enter deeply into smaller and larger settlements,
which significantly shortened passage to the nearest bus stop.
As a result, after a few months after launching the connection,
they are very popular.
One of the arguments that convinced the inhabitants to run line on residential streets
was the low noise emitted by electrobuses.
Standard electric buses mostly service city lines that start their routes from Krakowska loop.
It is a loop in the southern part of the city,
from where 19 routes of bus lines start.
Due to the large use of electric buses brigades,
three pantograph chargers were installed in this place.
Very often they are all occupied while charging buses.
Anyway, it's enough to say that the most-used charger on this loop
works an average of 11 hours per day.
Standard electrobuses also run on lines
terminating the route at Osiedle Stałe,
where the first pantograph charger installed in Jaworzno is located.
Articulated electric buses mostly operate on main interurban lines E and J,
connecting Jaworzno with Sosnowiec, Mysłowice and Katowice.
In one course on these lines, buses travel even for 55 kilometers
and the route of these lines runs on wide dual roadway national road No. 79.
These lines also use chargers on Krakowska loop
and most of the E-line courses run further south to the Byczyna Astrów loop,
where a sixth pantograph charger was installed.
There is another one,
twenty-fourth electrobus in Jaworzno.
This is the Chinese Yutong,
on the basis of which Tauron conducts an automatic battery exchange platform test on electric buses.
This is one of the directions
in which research on the further development of electromobility is heading.
It is expected that in depot vehicle
with discharged batteries
will be able to quickly replace them with charged packets.
This would reduce to a minimum the time
that electric buses are unavailable due to lack of energy.
The robot battery replacement line will be launched in September.
Of course, depot had to be adapted to service electric buses.
A new hall with 4 inspection
and repair stands and a fifth stand where current failures are removed.
In hall there are 8
plug-in chargers with 85 kW power each.
There are two chargers outside the hall,
including one that only handles Yutong bus.
Chargers in power are supplied from transformers
turning medium voltage of 20 kV
into a low voltage of 400V.
Pantograph chargers with 180 kW power,
located on area of city, are used for quick charging
and those in the depot - for long in time charging.
The place of stop under the charger is strictly marked with lines
- in three colors,
depending on the arrangement of the pantograph on the roof of the bus.
Through a pantograph
- a standard bus gains an average
of 1.7% of the battery energy per minute of charging.
After twenty minutes of charging, he has the energy to drive another 40 kilometers.
In electric buses, energy recovery is also important,
that is, its recovery as a result of braking.
For example, at the downhill slope towards Byczyna,
an electric bus can recover 2% of the battery energy as a result of braking.
Jaworzno's experience shows that a standard bus
consumes about 0.8% of battery energy
per kilometer traveled
in neutral atmospheric conditions of several degrees Celsius.
Electrobuses have highest energy consumption in the winter
when heating is switched on,
while summer air conditioning does not have such a significant impact
on increase in energy consumption in relation to neutral conditions.
Therefore, winter period is the most difficult to use in this respect
and in order to maintain the comparability of transportation service,
in the period of negative temperatures,
heating is supported by a hybrid combustion unit.
During this period, current vehicles are not zero emission,
but also standard heating in diesels consume much more fuel then normal.
It has also been shown that a major impact on energy consumption has also load on vehicle,
which means the number of passengers on board.
The operation of electrobuses requires a new approach
in planning of connections and brigade schedules for drivers.
In most cases
brigades were directly adapted to electrobuses,
previously serviced by buses with diesel engines.
In some cases, however, adjustments were required on loops,
so that the buses spent a longer time at end with charger.
Interestingly, in case of Krakowska loop,
in cards with drivers timetable is specified time frame
in which the vehicle should be charged together with charger number.
This time is strictly defined due to the number of electric brigades
appearing on this loop.
Often, just after first vehicle disconnected,
another vehicle that had just finished its course was approaching to charger.
This mode of operation with electrobuses allowed to obtain a high efficiency system,
in which electric buses daily travel on average 315 kilometers
with an average working time of 16.5 hours.
The most efficient electric brigade drives 419 kilometers during the day.
Construction of an expensive charging infrastructure would not make sense for a modest number of vehicles.
For this reason, PKM Jaworzno consistently strives to electrify its fleet.
An important item is fee for so-called "ordered power" from electricity supplier.
The division of this cost into a larger number of vehicles gives measurable savings.
Operator is currently planning to modify process of charging vehicles in the evening in order
to take advantage of more attractive night tariffs.
It is estimated that after introduction of new organizational changes,
cost of operating an electric bus
will be 1/3 of cost of operating a bus with a diesel engine.
However, everything is also dependent on the ratio of electricity prices to the price of fuel.
Work of electric buses running around the city is supervised from dispatch office.
Dispatcher's application panel "KiedyPrzyjedzie"
allows to view current location of all buses
on area of transport network,
with particular emphasis on electrobuses.
Application collects on a regular basis and displays data about level of battery charge in vehicles
and whether the vehicle is currently charged.
It is possible here, among other things, to look through the brigade's history of vehicle's operation,
including changing over time state of battery.
Dispatcher is also informed about fact of connecting the bus with charger.
Application is therefore a valuable source of information about operation of electric vehicles fleet.
With launch of such a large number of electric brigades in Jaworzno,
there was issue of certainty of electricity supply for bus transport.
When transport is already based in more than 40% on electricity, it is an important matter.
Network of electrobuses in Jaworzno uses the same source as local mine,
which is supplied with electricity from several alternative transmission lines.
Therefore, risk of a power outage is very unlikely,
even lower than in case of some Polish tram or trolleybus networks.
This is just the beginning of Jaworzno's adventure with electromobility.
There are plans to proceed tender for 20 more electric buses,
which will allow to increase their share in fleet to 60%.
At same time, infrastructure will be expanded.
In coming years there will be installed another four pantograph chargers on Krakowska loop
and one on Łubowiec,
next to the railway station in Szczakowa
and at Podłęże housing estate stop.
Depot infrastructure will also be expanded,
including in next 10 charging points.
In Jaworzno, attempts to autonomize bus transport will also take place in coming years.
First, at the depot,
that vehicle could undergo a driverless service (and charging)
and then on a test track
where various variants of traffic events would be checked.
Next stage of tests would be trial driving in street traffic
and the target state is running traffic on autonomous bus lines.
First implementation of electric buses in Poland on such a large scale took place in Jaworzno.
In peak period of school days
55 buses leave depot on city,
of which 40% are electrobuses.
This is an amazing testing ground in the country,
but it must be noted that passenger transport is carried out here in most normal and efficient way.
In course of starting electromotive brigades,
new challenges appeared,
for example regarding allocation of charging time on loops with a limited number of chargers
or marking of stop lines under the charger's area.
I am particularly pleased that in Jaworzno electric buses are as much as possible used
and, above all, they should benefit for residents and its operator.
We need such an approach in other Polish cities
if we are going to develop in direction of electric bus transport,
which primarily ensures low noise levels
and no emissions in traffic corridors.
Meanwhile, thanks for your attention
and see you next time.
Bye!

LEGO Overwatch 2019 Tracer minifigure and Winston teaser! - Duration: 1:01.
LEGO and Blizzard released a little promotional Twitter video revealing our first look at
the Tracer minifigure from the LEGO Overwatch 2019 sets.
You can see she has a new hair piece, which was definitely needed, and some cute printing
overall.
Funny enough, LEGO also released another teaser on their website today - which hints at us
getting a Winston minifigure.
Do you guys think it would be fitting for him to be a big fig, or just a regular minifigure?
Let me know in the comments since I don't play too much Overwatch.
And... yeah.
That's all we get today.
New York Comic Con is this week, so I expect that we might see more - maybe a set reveal
or two?
If you missed it, in August, they released a teaser that showed silhouttes of particular
chracters - Widowmaker, Reinhardt, Genji, Soldier, Mercy, and McCree.
So I'm sure the first wave will have those five, plus Winston and Tracer.
But what do you guys think?
Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
I'll see you guys later, peace out, bye.

Take the Heat | Don Bacon for Congress - Duration: 0:31.
When you take a hard stand in Washington, you WILL take the heat.
But political attacks are nothing compared to four deployments in the Middle East.
That's why I don't mind breaking a few eggs to strengthen our national defense,
get our economy moving, and provide better healthcare for our veterans.
Because everyone in Nebraska knows when you turn up the heat, Bacon gets even better.
I'm Don Bacon and I approve this message.

Inspiração | Projectos que fiz com a colecção TRAVELER de Alberto Juarez - Duration: 6:20.
Hi! I'm Susana from Pink & Fun
and today I 'm here to tell you
that I had the privilege of receiving, in first hand,
the magnificent collection of Alberto Juarez
- The Traveler -
sent by himself,
to make a project for the presentation of the collection
The papers, as you can see, are beautiful,
with a vintage style
with flowers, birds, butterflies...
and lots of things to fussy cut
and in addition to the main kit,
I also received the basic kit
which complements the main one
and are a great help
when we don't have enough papers to create a big project
I think this kit is beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.
and not so basic as it's called
and I can not imagine one without the other
And this is the project I made with them
It's a box
I've tried to imitate an old box of cigars
where memories were kept
This one was made from the zero
and embelished with the collection
it's as if we have found
at our grandparents' home
a box filled with memories
Let's see what's inside.
A cigar
decorated with a collection label
and the matches
these are not real,
they are paper
and I also decorated it with papers from the collection
a cameo
also decorated with a paper scrap
like an old jewel
and of course, a mini album
To embellish it
I used one of my favorite papers from the basic collection
a lace ribbon
and some fabric
inside it has a pocket
with a passport
to do it, I used the travel stamp sheet
from the basics kit
The footers of the main collection have inspiring phrases
and here I used one
This page has a flap
with a pocket
where I put two postcards
from the collection
one just it is
and another, attached at a taylor made envelope
all the pages have pockets
with a photo mats
to put photos
I embellish this page with a butterfly
that I fussy cut
and it's so beautiful that I put a frame around it
to make it stand out
here I put another sentiment,
and here my favorite one
On the last page there's a pocket
this time upright
with a travel notebook
with sheets aged with coffee
Unfortunately with the rush to do it and send it
I did not record the video tutorial
but I can still do it if you are interested
maybe it will not stay 100% equal
but tell me in the comments below if it's worth recording or not ...
I really hope you enjoyed this project,
Thank you so much for watching,
Thank you, Alberto, for this privilege,
Kisses and see the next time!

Kill La Kill - Studio Trigger Love Letters - (Part 2) - Duration: 7:51.
Okay, so let me say it right away
There's probably nothing I can bring to the table that no one else already has in regards to kill a kill but I did
Realize something pretty interesting when I was rewatching the show. I could not look away
And while the cast is fantastic in the deeper thematic elements in the show are great in their own right? That isn't what
Elicited such a strong reaction from me. What did
was
The aesthetic marvel of Killa kill is what stole my heart the fact the show has these deeper layers
Underneath its style is really just something that ties into itself
No other show has kept my attention in quite the same way Killa kill has and that's what I find most interesting about it
So let's talk about that
I'm not going to claim to be any sort of expert on the animation process
But what I see and kill I kill fucking astounds me not in the sense that every frame is flawless
But in the sense that it's all incredibly efficient
So you see the term?
Good
Animation gets thrown around so much it begins to lose meaning for me when someone attempts to persuade me with it
But it has good animation. They may as well be telling me nothing
Now I understand you obviously want the animation in your anime to look good
But I don't think the quality of it matters nearly as much as what is being done with it
Not to suggest that kill a kill doesn't have quality animation far from it, but it is very simple in many shots
despite that
No
No
as a result of that kill a kill is always interesting to look at even though the consistency of its animation fluctuates between
Absolutely
Incredible two simple drawings on a three pose loop the idea that the animators are saving some budget for more time-consuming scenes
It could be true. I don't fucking know but this isn't only a choice for the sake of efficiency
This is also done stylistically
The animation in Killa kill is sometimes chaotic and cartoony because that's what the world of killa kill is
It's meant to be silly. It's meant to be free. It's meant to be stylish if the show had more
Quote/unquote consistent animation it would be a lot more dull
honestly
It would lose a crucial characteristic about itself and that
characteristic is partially why you would not confuse Killa kill with any other show while this doesn't completely excuse some bad examples just
Remember that this awkward CG sequence?
Everyone likes to point out is immediately followed by one of the most visually dynamic shot the show that utilized the CG damn-near
Perfectly the camera angles the willingness to go off model the energy in every shot the emphasis on expressions in size all of this
And more is why kill a kill blows me away
I value this because I value freedom
creativity and experimentation when a show goes out of its way to be visually engaging it not only gains my respect but also my
Attention and you know, I also value the show style email them there is essentially no animation
So while kill a kill is compared to the other works by its directors such as gurren lagaan
it definitely exudes a style very unique to itself and to its setting I
Wish the setting of Killa kill was discussed more
honestly
The city is literally a mountain with a prestigious honnouji academy at the very peak and the cluttered slums at the very bottom
not only is that bluntly conveying how the world value status but it also
Allows for a more visually appealing layout with harsh angles
Dictating how everything is set up the light interacts with the city in a way that cast a lot of shadows while the lighting areas
Puts a lot of emphasis on its painted structures
I also love how the painted structures make this portion of the city look dirty and rundown
It makes the city look lived in an active
massive props to the artistry poured into these backgrounds
There is so much life intensity and flair captured in these static background paintings
Even the brushstrokes for the clouds as well as the fog. That's almost
Constantly flowing at the bottom of the screen are so jagged and they create this illusion of intense movement
There's also so much to the color palette. Sure
You have the main two opposing colors of red and blue, but there's also so much in terms of variety
I even see the light from the Sun represented by orange by green and
everything in between all of the characters also bring their own distinct color palette in their design and
That's without mentioning
And even though you would assume any colors would result in some sort of sugary skittle induced vomit up a presentation
The colors are generally dis a cheated and easy on the eyes giving us this
Massive variety while also not being too loud or obnoxious that is except for killer kills use of red
Which is the main color of the show's palette the red sound ryuko
Specifically changed in levels of saturation depending on what the situation is trying to communicate to us now, obviously
Altering saturation to fit a mood is nothing unique. But since the color red is sort of a defining aspect of the show
It's something that really sticks out to me
especially considering that read both represents the show and Ryoka whose growth represents kill that kills most common theme that being
embracing duality
Killer kill is a show with a lot to say but everything it does say sort of boils down to this common idea
and this idea of accepting opposing concepts as simultaneously existing is so beautifully conveyed through its
Presentation forgive me if I repeat things that have been said over and over and over again
But this is an important part of the puzzle these more simple animations exist alongside the most technically impressive the show's
Representation of nudity is both shadow of titillation and beautifully artistic the show is both incredibly thematic as well as popcorn entertainment
Ultimately kilakila is something I appreciate on the whole but most of my love for it is tied into its aesthetic
Does that mean I appreciate it for the more shallow?
aspects or do I appreciate how efficiently the style the show ties in to what it's trying to say and
after thinking about it for a while and thinking about what killa kill represents as a whole my answer to that question is
Yes

BLIND BAKE A PIE CRUST - for any filled pie! - Duration: 3:01.
hey everyone welcome to my channel it's Dorothy from crazy for crust.com and
today I'm going to talk to you about how to blind bake a pie crust if you're
wondering what the heck blind making of pie crust is it just means to bake it
without a filling you're baking it empty so that you can fill it with a custard
or a pudding or some sort of filling that doesn't need to be beat
Blyton's making a crust is super simple and you don't need any special tools I
know a lot of times on recipes that I'll say fill the pie with pie weights or
something like that you don't even need to have that if your recipe calls for
pie weights to blind bake the crust you don't need them all you need if you have
some trusty little lentils maybe you have some rice either of those things
are perfect for blind baking your pie crusts all right so let's get started
I'm going to show you exactly how to make this crust I'm using my all butter
pie crust today you can find that recipe at crazy for crestcom or see the video
in the comments below let's get started here's how you blind bake a crust the
secret to blind baking a pie crust is making sure you're starting with an ice
cold pie crust I pop this one into the freezer for about 30 minutes before I
baked it so make sure that it's cold the colder the better that will keep it from
shrinking you can use my all butter pie crust recipe or you can use a
store-bought one it doesn't matter the same method works for each right so what
you want to do is take some parchment paper and put it in the bottom of your
pie crust press it down make sure it's flush with
the sides and the bottom of the pie crust then you're gonna fill the pie
crust with something that can go in the oven you can use lentils rice beans pie
weights whatever you have that you can add into the pie crust now if you're
using rice or beans or lentils you're not going to be able to cook them again
for eating but you can throw them into a bag and use them again in another pie
crust that you have to blind bake and there you have it all you got to do is
take that pop it into the oven and bake it bake this for about 20 minutes at 425
degrees for about 20 minutes take it out of the oven and carefully remove the
parchment and rice or beans or whatever your filling is they're gonna be hot so
be careful once you have them taken out you can see it's a little bit golden but
not quite done yet and that's when you want to take a fork
and poke holes then pop it back in the oven until it's nice and golden brown
and cooked through Co easy that was its crisp and ready to fill with pudding or
can i killing or anything like that that doesn't need to be baked be sure to buy
my all butter pie crust recipe and all of my pie recipes at crazy for crust dot com

This is super cool, I really like this.
Thank you. It's still has that goodwill smell to it.
-Oh I won't smell it. OK. -I won't either.
Hey everybody, I am so excited today,
because we have someone here from out of town.
He is an out-of-towner and he is a serious crocheter.
This is, drumroll please, Vincent of Knot Bad. Welcome!
Thank you so much for having me, the Big Apple.
-Yes, I created the Big Apple just for you. -Well, thank you, I appreciate that.
You're a new member of the Lion Brand family, which is very exciting.
I always tend to find that, it's very heavy in the knitting world of bloggers,
but not always crocheters.
And then you're a dude.
Yes I seem to be the first male on the blogging team of the Lion Brand, which is really cool.
Yeah I'm kind of an odd one here at Lion Brand,
cause I also focus on the doll making, amigurumi.
-Yeah I heard that you're a really big amigurumi fan. -I am. I am.
And how did you get into the whole amigurumi thing?
I just wanted to make Pokemon, that was the
And I've also heard that you're into Pokemon.
All these things are falling into place.
Yes I actually just got a Pokemon tattoo on my leg last summer in Vietnam.
In Vietnam? Interesting choice to get a Pokemon tattoo on the legs period,
but then you added the Vietnam part.
You're just full of surprises.
Also a really cool thing that's going on on Vincent's head.
-This is the weird thing to like point out, but he's got -Oh yes, I'll turn.
So what would you say you've shaved? I'm not gonna say this right.
-Yeah it's shaving into there. -Shaving in.
It's a ball of yarn.
A ball of yarn on the side of the head.
And then there's like a string that goes all the way through.
That's kind of cool, so you're really into the amigurumi.
Are there other things that you like to make as well?
There is, I kind of want to throw a fashion piece into it.
So I went to Goodwill and got a coat and I cut the sleeve off and now I just kind of crochet my own.
That is so cute and clever.
Because you're not like huffing and puffing making a whole thing, and taking forever.
And you kind of make a sleeve, which goes super quick.
-Right. -And then it's done.
Cool things about these ones it's just instant gratification.
Yeah like how long did this take you?
I don't know just a couple hours in comparison to a sweater that's like 40.
A hundred percent, because you're literally just doing,
-You're crocheting in the round. -Right. Yep.
That's such a clever idea I never even thought of that,
of taking like a ready-made object and then kind of like you know just kind of adding little pizzazz.
Tell me how long have you been crocheting for?
Three and a half years.
Oh wow you make it sound like you've been doing this like your whole lifetime.
I wish I had been.
Aww. How did you get involved with it?
I was undeclared in college and I was working the luxurious life of a delivery driver at Domino's.
So I pretty much part majored in partying.
And then I kind of like took a step back, and I dropped out of school and I quit my job.
And I was at my parents basement and then I just went on YouTube and I taught myself how to crochet.
Just like "All right there's nothing else out there, I'm gonna crochet"?
I had wanted to do it for a while.
I had a girlfriend back in high school that tried to teach me a couple times.
Yeah it took me seven hours to learn how to do that on YouTube.
I sat there all night. I actually pulled an all-nighter to be able to do it.
And I woke up extremely excited to like do it again.
-And you're like "I'm gonna make Pokemon." -Yes, Pokeymans.
I still have the OG collection I made.
-O-original? -Original yeah.
I was like "Is that a Pokemon?"
No, OG stands for original.
So you're so passionate about crochet and then so tell me how knot bad came to be?
I strayed away from like selling on Etsy and stuff.
I do sell my premium patterns. But I do technically have what the Millennials call a blogger.
So I'm a blogger. So on my website and stuff I offer like all the free patterns and stuff.
I do want to be really inclusive,
and be able to have the ability to make someone else smile, or create something.
That's really cool I love that.
It's just like all like butterflies and flowers.
I think the takeaway for crafting for me is that the best part is being able to give to someone else, right?
And you want people to see what you saw in crochet and to kind of continue with that,
which i think is really important and great.
-Well thank you, I appreciate that. -Aww. That makes me so happy.
I want everyone to know where they can follow you, Vincent. And so where can they find you?
I do update my blog weekly and that's at knotbadami.com.
And from there you can find me everywhere,
Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook, literally everywhere.
So he is basically everywhere and all of his information is going to be below.
You can go like this, you can Vanna with me.
-Catch me on MySpace. -There we go.
And remember to give this video a big thumbs up and subscribe to our YouTube channel.
And below in the comments we want you to answer the following question:
Have you ever given to amigurumi a shot or been interested in the craft?
Let us know! Totally worth it!
Yes and with that Cheers.
-Thank you so much for coming. -Thank you for having me.
Bye guys.
So I was actually watching your Instagram story,
and I saw that you had been stopped by security about your hooks.
Yes, about 80% of the time, when I go through security I always get stopped for it.
They pull it out and they're asking what it is.
They think it's like a knife or something I can kill,
I mean the only thing it could kill is with kindness with that.
-Love that. Bring on the cheese. -Just being cheesy.
