Star Trek: Dominion War (Part 4 of 4) - Duration: 6:55.

As the war dragged on, fluctuating from minor Dominion advances to more of a stalemate,

the Founders grew frustrated and sought out new allies, identifying the Breen Confederacy,

as a strong warrior species, capable of bringing them victory.

The Dominion may even have sent an infiltrator to replace an influential person in their

society, in order to convince them to enter the war.

After months of secret communiations, Thot Gor of the Breen Confederacy, travelled to

Cardassian space and signed a treaty of alliance.

Yet with the Dominion desperate to gain their support, the Breen were able to demand a great

deal in return, annexing a number of Cardassian planets, with an added promise of controlling

Earth and Romulus once the war was won.

Determined to strike fear into the heart of the Federation, the Breen began by organizing

a direct attack against Earth, targeting Starfleet headquarters.

Although most of their ships were lost in the battle, Thot Gor remarked that is was

a small price to pay for such a great victory.

The Breen then engaged in the Second Battle of Chintoka, using energy dampening weapons

to drain enemy ships of power, so they might be easily destroyed.

Although many alliance vessels were lost, a single Klingon ship survived, as their engineer

had made an adjustment to their warp core, which unintentionally made them immune to

the Breen weapon.

General Martok then ordered all ship in the Klingon fleet to make similar adjustments,

leaving the Empire to stand alone against the Dominion, while their allies upgraded

their vessels to withstand this new technology.

Unfortunately, it was at this most critical time, that Chancellor Gowron of the Klingon

Empire chose to play political games, purposefully sending Martok on missions doomed to fail,

as he feared the General's growing reputation amongst their people.

Although the General was so loyal, he was willing to die for the Empire, even on a mission

he knew was foolish, Lieutenant Commander Worf of Starfleet, who was also a member of

the House of Martok, refused to accept the situation, engaging Gowron in a fight to the

death.

And while Worf was victorious, and by all rights might have claimed leadership over

the Empire, he instead insisted that Martok take the position, allowing them to once again

focus on the war.

With the Breen given charge over much of the invasion effort, the Dominion once again began

to make advances.

Yet all was not well within the Dominion alliance, as the Cardassian people continued to suffer

heavy losses in blood and treasure, while also losing influence and territory.

A true patriot, Legate Damar was furious with the generous terms given to the Breen, having

been forced to sign a document allowing for the annexation of Cardassian planets to their

new allies.

And so he grew increasingly depressed and angry, drinking to numb the pain of his people's

humiliation.

Yet when he was at his lowest, he reconnected with his old commander Dukat, who reminded

him of what a courageous warrior he once was, telling him to take back control of his life

and become the leader the Cardassian people needed.

After hearing his old friend's words, Damar finally had enough of being a Dominion puppet,

gathering together his most trusted allies to form the Cardassian Liberation Front, determined

to win back his people's independence.

The rebellion launched several successful attacks, including the destruction of the

last Dominion cloning facility in the Alpha Quadrant on Rondak III , and even reached

out to the Federation for an alliance against their shared enemy.

Unfortunately, the movement was eventually betrayed and their forces massacred, but they

served a useful purpose in the overall war effort, as they'd distracted the Dominion

long enough for the Federation Alliance to upgrade their ships to fight against the Breen.

With their Advantage lost, the Dominion accepted that this war would be a prolonged struggle,

and so pulled back all forces into Cardassian space, returning the galaxy to pre-war borders.

However this was merely a tactical withdrawal, designed to shorten their supply lines while

extending those of the enemy and giving them a smaller area to keep secure so they could

focus on growing their army and fleet.

Realizing that this situation benefited the Dominion, the Federation Alliance chose to

launch a final assault into the heart of Cardassian Space, in order to end the war once and for

all.

Despite the resolve of the Alliance, the Breen, Jem'Hadar and Cardassians stood an excellent

chance of winning the battle, if not for the continued interference of Damar, who had survived

the destruction of the rebellion, and was now rallying the citizens of Cardassia Prime

against their oppressors.

In response to his efforts, the Dominion unwisely chose punish the general population, killing

two million of their citizens in the bombing of Lakarian city.

Yet rather than terrify the Cardassians into submision, it stirred them further to anger,

leading to rioting in the streets, and even convincing the Cardassian Fleet to turn against

the Breen and Jem Hadar in the midst of the Battle of Cardassia.

The unexpected attack caused chaos in the Dominion Fleet, forcing them to withdraw to

Cardassia Prime for their last stand.

Meanwhile, Dominion headquarters came under attack, and while Damar was killed in the

fighting, his forces continued on and took the building, killing Weyoun and capturing

the Female Founder.

And while she was prepared for a fight to the death, she was convinced to surrender

after linking with Odo, a member of her species who had sided with the Federation and promised

that if she surrendered, he would go to the Gamma Quadrant and deliver the cure for the

Morphegenic Virus to their people.

And so in 2375, Dominion and Alliance representatives witnessed the signing of the Treaty of Bajor,

bring an end to this devastating conflict.

Among the terms of this treaty, the Dominion lost all their territory in the Alpha Quadrant

leaving the Breen and Cardassians as sovereign powers once more.

In addition, they agreed that the Female Founder would stand trial for war crimes, while all

Dominion military forces promptly returned to the Gamma Quadrant.

Although peace was restored pre-war borders were reinstated, the balance of power in the

region had shifted significantly by the end of the conflict.

Having been on the front lines for much of the fighting, the Klingon empire was significantly

weakened, though they had also gained territory, as they remained in possession of the Cardassian

planets captured before the start of the Dominion War.

The Cardassian Union itself was utterly devastated, enduring most of the collateral destruction,

leaving them a shell of their former self, forced to rebuild their civilization.

And while the Federation and Romulan Star Empire, also suffered heavy losses, they remained

the most significant super powers in the start of the post war era.

Elvis the Alien Owned Paul Joseph Watson About Depression & Mental Illness (And now it's my turn) - Duration: 14:53.

strength of character used to be about the ability to deal with negative stuff

without just falling to pieces at the first sign of distress oh but there

shouldn't be a stigma around depression anymore

that's mean yes there should that's right this guy is trying to tell us what

is up everybody this is Chris from the rewired soul where we talk about the

problem but focus on the solution and if you're new to my channel my channel is

all about mental health and I try to increase awareness and decrease the

stigma and I pull things from the YouTube community to try to teach you

how to improve your mental health as well as spread some awareness so if

you're into that make sure you subscribe and ring that notification bell so first

off I guess I'm glad to announce elvis the alien just for me personally but this

one that you just did on Paul Joseph watson of them like yes Elvis is back in

my video I was telling Tristan to like this youtubers out there that can do

this because that's not what I do right just sit there and laugh and just and

watch this right anyways he inspired me to make this video so Paul Joseph Watson

for those of you who don't know he is part of the Alex Jones crew over at

Infowars right he just go watch go watch Elvis the alien's video I won't go into

too many specifics but this guy is he's an issue right he's always trying to

raise controversy and trigger people and stuff the problem is and what you all

need to learn from this is when you're costly trying to do that you sound you

sound stupid right so like I guess I guess I want to start at the tone of

this video but like stating the irony the pure

already the fact that the guy who literally made a video is trying to

explain how love is a mental illness is the same guy trying to tell us the

quote-unquote truth about depression the most of history romantic love was

considered a disease that you had to catch and get over depression is pretty

much faked actually wanted to do the video that Paul Joseph Watson made was

like a year old so since Elvis did this I'm like oh hey maybe the algorithm old

help push this video out because Paul Joseph Watson made this truth about

depression video about a year ago so what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna break it

down and explain how wrong he is about the freshmen he's one of the reasons why

the the stigma is out there and you know here in the United States the elections

are coming out the midterms and all that and like I I do think it's important to

understand how politics and mental health you know like they affect one

another right so when you have somebody like Paul Joseph Watson who is very very

conservative and I'm not saying all conservatives are like that but when

their beliefs are like this then think about whether that's going to do to

mental health care all right so I'm gonna break down I wrote down like 20

clips and I'm gonna break down all the ways he's wrong now a form of virtue

signaling to constantly drone on about how depressed you are you see it all

over YouTube these sniveling Hogan confess videos

made by privileged millennial brats who haven't had a proper day of hardship in

their entire lives this misconception about this is that

people with depression or just whiners right and they've never experienced a

day of hardship in their life now this is just just inaccurate like here's a

great example okay here's a great example of it did you know that

according to the National Institute of Health that 50% of people with

post-traumatic stress disorder also have major depressive disorder okay so like

when he's saying that these are just like whiny Millennials who have never

experienced hardship life like he does not understand that

depression is often like part of another mental illness for people who have been

abused or had a traumatic experience right anxiety disorders a lot of people

within that anxiety disorders also have depression so it isn't just people

wanting to be cool they try to one-up each other for depression brownie points

with endless blubber fests about their poor privileged lives meanwhile people

living in African mud hooks literally give zero smell adjustment is now trendy

this is just one of the worst things that people who don't understand

depression but it's also people with depression right so like there's this

misconception that like oh well your life is better than the worst person's

so you have no right to be depressed like everybody lives in their own

reality for example as Elvis pointed out

multiple times Paul Joseph Watson thinks he's like the coolest kid on the block I

mean we all know how cool you are ball but you have to flex that hard dude he

is living in his own reality okay so just because you are not a starving

child in Africa does not mean you cannot struggle with depression okay in the

same way that it's like you can't have you know a disease that someone else has

a worse disease that's not how this thing works but it's also a point for

anybody struggling with depression to know that it's okay to go get help it

doesn't matter that your life isn't quote unquote as bad as somebody else's

like let's go back to PTSD as an example a prime example what may be traumatic

for one person is not traumatic to the other that doesn't mean there's a person

that was traumatic for does not have a right to be traumatized depression has

become the new fad pride movement depression has become the new fad pride

movement like a lot of you know me I've done a ton of videos on just like body

positivity I've done videos about life is too you know mental illness trendy

and stuff but like here's the thing - like I would say yes

know one of the problems that I take with a lot of people you know who put

these huge blanket statements right and just saying that mental illness as a

whole is like trendy or trying to be cool no it's case-by-case you know what

I mean like I literally just talked about it in my video about scottysire

we're like yeah some people latch on to this as part of their identity so that's

one of the reasons I make these videos to try to decrease the stigma and talk

about you know like kind of the language we use around it like are you really

nervous or are you anxious right are you sad or are you depressed and one of the

issues I think Paul Joseph Watson had then he intertwines a lot of these

things together right so if somebody is just like in his crazy brain he's like

oh oh more people are depressed no they didn't say they were depressed they just

save turned us into complete T's because these are easier to push around and

manipulate I just want to point out on a side note that you can always tell

conspiracy theories by how they always say like they want you to do this they

want you to do that but they never tell you who they are like Paul who is them

who are they like you through that logically the depression epidemic makes

no sense by every single objective factor it's never been a better time to

be a human being living in the West oh is this Nicole arbors brother only

one person can get you out of depression and that is you know I'm holding you

accountable for your own feelings like what do you mean like it is crazy to

think like you don't have a right to depressed be depressed because we have

cell phones today like what depression was barely even a thing it wasn't even

talked about 50 or 60 years ago so why is everyone so depressed now when we've

got it so much easier he's asking like why people are more depressed now than

ever before like one of them is is because people

have easier access to people like you which makes us the

that was a joke but that little job in there but there's a multitude of reasons

a multitude of reasons so one of them is is that it may seem like it's it's more

than it's ever been before but just because we have more access to people

and people talking right like back before you know social media and

everything like that way if you were depressed or satellite whatever it was

like how many people were gonna know like the people in your neighborhood

maybe only the people in your house and you also got to think about all the

generations before that taught you not how to you know suppress your feelings

and you know or be a man you know it's becoming a little bit more normalized

just talk about these things that's one of the reasons one channels like mine

exists to increase awareness and kind of normalize this conversation but there

are a million other reasons for like why depression is more prevalent than ever

before same reason with anxiety okay anyway did an entire book review on a

book called lost connections it's because you've been completely misled

about what depression actually is depression is nothing more than

dissatisfaction with life what do you mean depression is just nothing more

than that is just like minimizing it like so so much of your skin you know

don't minimize that's not a broken bone your bones just not in the same way that

it was before like why I quit minimizing it like when somebody's having a panic

attack just calm down or for people with

depression just cheer up which it's the responsibility of the doctor to

alleviate by medical means and they're only too happy to often being paid to do

so under the insane justification that depression is a chemical imbalance which

it isn't the way here when he says it's not a chemical imbalance so just so you

know there are different debates and different studies and theories about

this but one thing I want to point out about Paul just watching this he will

only only use arguments important to stress that long-term stable of is

completely distinct for new romantic love because it lights up

different areas of the brain okay but the few times I've had the displeasure

of seeing him babble he will only use science or quotes or whatever clearly

have a confirmation bias with the right so yes there is such thing as a chemical

imbalance all right now the other thing is somebody who is not always a chemical

imbalance okay so some of what he says is not incorrect but the way he delivers

it is like a d-bag we need to talk about this so in this video he's very anti

depressant we can't eliminate dissatisfaction with your life by taking

pills absolutely but the way this works is that they bring you up to a base

level okay they bring you to a base of okay so like SSRIs they help create

serotonin which helps give you pleasure joy motivation all that so if the brain

is not properly creating that then these help get you up to a base level alright

so that is why this next point he makes is really dumb the only cure is to

change the way you live your life to make better decisions to create value

excitement and authenticity in your life work on projects start businesses read

absorb worthwhile information perfectly Paul someone who is depressed does not

see the point in starting a business or going on an adventure or even reading a

book like that might be too much yes that is the issue with depression like

we don't have when you're in depression you don't have the motivation to just go

do this thing to do the things that give you happiness to do the things that give

you joy right to do the things that can create a better life for yourself so

sometimes you need a jumpstart and no it's not all about the pills but

that first many people is part of the solution so like there have been many

studies about pills and placebo effects and all of that which might have made a

video on I can't remember but like it's just important to understand the truth

like the actual truth about depression rather than this guy's silly conspiracy

opinions you're not going to achieve self-actualization by taking pills or

having endless conversations with therapists most of whom don't give a

damn about you anyway so this last ridiculous clip is Oh therapists don't

care about you like what always makes me chuckle about people who call other

people out for virtue signaling is how often they virtue signal because if you

if you look at what he's actually saying is he's saying therapists don't even

care about you so what he's implying is is that he actually cares about you or

why would he make this video you see what I mean but anyways I've worked in

mental health for years now and yeah I'll tell you some care about you

there's others who can't sleep at night because they do kit way too much you

know what I mean but get out of here with your nonsense like pull Jacob

Jingleheimer Schmidt like whatever dude anyways like thank you for bringing this

guy this is love is a mental illness scientific backing for him it was

ridiculous Elvis makes fun of them in his video about that comments like is is

this stigma is this something that's affected you in your life and your

depression and people not understanding let me know down in the comments below

anyways that's all I got for you with this video if you like this video please

give it a thumbs up if you're new make sure to subscribe and bring that

notification belt and huge thank you to everybody supporting the channel over on

patreon you are all amazing and if you would like to help me increase awareness

and kind of quiet down the noise of people like Paul hit that little patreon

thanks so much for watching I'll see you next time

VOCAL COACHES REACT: DIMASH - ADAGIO - Duration: 12:11.

Hello everybody, How are you? With us, everything is fine. Welcome to one more video of Reação Imediata.

And in this video we will make a reaction from Dimash,

which was very requested in the comments,

people asked us to make the reaction for this song, the name is Adagio.

I may be wrong but I think the name is Adagio,

pardon me if I am wrong

and we will make this reaction after many requests in the comments. pardon me if I am wrong

and we will make this reaction after many requests in the comments.

But before going to the video, do not forget to click on the liked one,

sign up if you are not yet subscrible and follow us on Instagram.

The link is in the description for this video and all others on the channel.

Remembering that we are going to pause the video in a few moments,

because there is a rights issue on YouTube

and we have to respect that time.

Message given, we speak more in the course of this reaction.

Let's go to what's most important now. Let's react !!!

We have not seen all of Dimash's videos here on YouTube,

and it's been a surprise to see him playing the piano.

That is, in addition to singing as he sings something splendid,

-It is true. -he still plays the piano.

There he goes with that voice again,

on the bass, with that heavy voice he has that impresses

and we do not know where he gets all these kinds of voices.

From the highest to the lowest.

It really is something that surprises and we do not know how he can do it.

Looks like he has a little radio around his neck.

That he adjusts when he wants.

It's amazing how he manages to make these transitions

with his voice in a very easy way.

He can handle his voice well.

Both in the heavy region and in the highest region,

he is doing what appears to be a mixed voice.

I think about the chest region and the voice of the head.

I think it's between this region and this region.

But it's amazing how he can carry a lot of air in the transition of these voices.

And always putting a lot of emotion in the voice.

He is a great interpreter.

Blimey, now he's raised the note very well.

And this song, like other songs, has a dramatic interpretation.

Even though there are not many hectic songs, sometimes we are wrong ...

In the instrumental, we do not understand what is said,

but based on the instrumental, it seems not to be something so lively.

We are taking these breaks, we find it annoying to do this,

we do not like to do this, then there is the need,

because the platform catches a little in the foot.

We have to respect this from the platform.

We did not want to, we were hypnotized watching...

We ask for understanding, there are people who do not understand

and we ask you to understand, because it is something that is beyond our reach.

It's a rule and we have to respect that.

Exactly. And we suggest to those who like to see Dimash,

that they go to the original video and watch in full.

Generally we put the original links in the description of the video,

you can feel free to watch, there will be no stopping, you can watch at will.

But we ask for understanding in the moment.

Geez is very incredible, how he manages to manipulate the voice.

He puts on a sweet voice and, suddenly,

it puts an incredible ripeness in his voice.

And it seems that in the songs that we react to him,

it always comes with a blast.

It begins in a very soft and whispered way

and suddenly it rises and then descends showing all its vocal ability.

He transitions these voices with a very great facility.

And it's a mixed voice.

he was here ...

It seems that he makes these transitions from the chest region,

to the region voice mask and then region voice of the head,

sometimes from the chest region to the region of the voice of the head ...

So he makes these transitions in a very easy and clear

way that ends up helping to interpret these songs.

He can also put some effects that leave the nasal voice,

which is much more beautiful.

The musical interpretations

and the interpretations that emits with the voice are incredible.

Besides expressing yourself with the body, it really shows this emotion.

Geez...

And the lyrical influence he has in his voice is very noticeable,

whenever I hear he refers me to classical music, opera, by the way he sing.

Another thing that strikes me,

besides the radio he has in the neck that keeps changing the voice.

He looks like he has a canister that carries air in the lung.

He has a lot of air, can hold the notes with much time.

Very much and it is very easy for him.

It seems that everything is very easy for him.

And it's what you've already said and even what we've seen in other Dimash reactions.

It is how he uses the body to express it along with the voice.

It's not just someone singing standing up,

there are a lot of artists who do it, nothing against it,

but it's that he gives himself so much to music.

There seems to be a connection between music and he.

Just watch your behavior on stage.

Wow... Blimey.

I'm shocked he can always surprise.

Awesome, Awesome.

He always does something different, he always puts something different in his voice.

He always goes on the high note but always goes up the note differently.

One way it does is always bring something new.

Dimash, I will repeat again, that he does really seem to be out of this world.

Because it's incredible, we have nothing to say

because we are impressed with each presentation.

Of course, as we watch, noticing the reactions,

we see the resourcefulness he has and that every song

he sing and brings a lot of emotion in a different way.

Each song requires a different kind of emotion.

-And he knows how to do it. -Exactly.

But this is our opinion, now we want to know yours.

Comment on what you think, whether you agree or not.

And if we let some information go by,

you can leave in the comments that we read all.

So that's what we hope you enjoyed this video.

Israelis: What do you think of gay people coming to Israel? - Duration: 6:36.

Many gays come to Israel

to visit, because it is seen as good place

what do you think of that?

In my opinion, gays are already a non-issue

we don't need to make an issue about this

Naama Jerusalem

I see no reason to even deal with it

I don't see that this is a group needing special attention

It's all good

What do you think of the fact that many gays

Ofer Rishon Lezion

come to Israel because Israel is good to them

Everyone can do what he wants

Does it bother you?

In some way yes, the gay parade really bothers me

The parade?

The parade really bothers me

Why?

Because it takes up too much space

Everyone can have his fun however he wants to

But then why does the parade...

Why do they need to... Can I make a parade with my wife?

Why?

Do what you want, enjoy yourself, have fun everyone in his own area

Why do I need all that noise?

Do you live in Tel Aviv?

I live in Tel Aviv

You said you live in Rishon

Now I live in Tel Aviv

in a month I move to Rishon

Is it because of the noise and you don't like any parade?

or because it is gays?

Also but I don't like the idea of too much exposure

we don't need that much exposure

Ok, what do you think about what I asked about?

Yes

Hilik Ramat Gan

That a lot of gays like to come to Israel

Very legitimate

Why?

Look, everyone and who he is everyone and his way

and everyone and his

what he wants to do in his life

You can't judge everyone

You also can't teach everyone

You can't guide the entire world

I am guessing if you could you would

You can't

I have no problem with that I can't

What do you think of lots of gays come to Israel

because it is a safe place for them?

Avi Ramle

Let them enjoy

Anything else?

It doesn't bother you?

No

What?

They are nice people

We try

Joel Ariel (West Bank settlement)

Not to live, because Tel Aviv is a party town

They come just to party?

Why not?

That's tourism

It's what brings in money, isn't it?

Why would that be a bad thing?

There are many tourists that come to Israel

because it is a good place for gays

gays that come from Europe and the USA

Yonatan and Yuval Shomron (West Bank settlement)

What's the question? - what do you think?

They come here because it's a good place?

For gays, yes

I need to give my opinion?

Yes

We don't know sounds reasonable

They should come

Sounds reasonable

Reasonable?

Anything other than reasonable?

You didn't find the right people to ask

Why? What do you think?

You hear that in Tel Aviv and in Israel in general

is a place for gay tourists

I would prefer that this wouldn't be the connotation

Why?

That it will be...

Not only gays, no one says it is only for gays

but gays come here it is a good place

Great, they should enjoy

What do you think of the fact that Israel

that a lot of gays enjoy coming to?

True

Raz Ashdod

You mean visiting from outside - Yes

Yes

Because the parade here is one of the biggest in the world

it brings in tourists tourism in general

What is your opinion of that?

No problem

I am not for or against

everyone can do what he wants

It brings money into the country

Tourists

Do you accept them?

Yes

Of course

Dudi and Tsadik Ramat Hasharon and Rishon LeZion

What do you think of the gay pride parade

and a lot of gays like to come to Israel

that it is a place for gays to come

Everyone who comes to Israel is welcome

it doesn't matter if gay, not gay lesbian

what does it matter?

Everyone and their way

their background, however they think

I have the same opinion

Every person

as he is

is a human being and is allowed to live as he is

as he wants

So you have no problem that people speak about Israel

as a place that is good for gay people

Amazing - I have no problem with that

Fantastic

They should come here

they should enjoy Jerusalem Look what a beautiful place this is

Paradise

What do you think of the fact that many gays like to come to Israel

because it is a safe place for them?

Miraim Rishon Lezion

Everyone one and their inclination

That is their way

You can't...

I don't think Israel is that great for gays

Look, every person

and his choices

his inclinations, has his own life

That is their life

If gays want to...

They need to get the right to marry in Israel

to marry in Israel, having children in Israel

have surrogacy in Israel

- True

It's their right!

What? They didn't serve in the army? - True

Because they are gay, they didn't serve in the army?

They serve in the army

and today they have their own families

They were raised in decent families They are good families

Their inclination is that way that's the way it is

You can't

say to them "Habibi, you have to marry"

a woman

No, you can't

Why do you say it is not good for gays in Israel?

I think as long as same sex couples

cannot marry

can't go through the surogacy process

like I can

I can't in Israel but I have other options that I am able to do

and it is not clear if they can donate blood

I think that is serious

- This is an outrageous country

It's serious

Outrageous

This is becoming a religious country

- This isn't like the time of Begin

like all those prime ministers

that had respect

How To Write Awesome Emails - Duration: 3:08.

- So I just had this question come in

from Marcella Huresburger and she asked,

"How can we create appealing emails to get people

"to open them and actually click on the link?"

So great question

and it's one, I think about this a lot.

I've sent a lot of emails in my career.

It's been over 20 years

and I've sent way more than 10,000 email broadcasts.

I've had great success

and I've had some that didn't work so well.

So the number one thing you have to do

is you have to deliver value.

Even if you're selling something, you have to deliver value.

When people have joined your list,

you basically have a contract with them.

You said, "I'm going to send you something,"

when they've joined your list,

when they came to your opt-in page,

to your squeeze page and they enter their email address,

there's an implied contract that you are going

to give them what you promised them.

And what you promised them,

there's probably some amount of value there.

So when people first join your list,

that's when they're most likely to open your emails.

And so those first few emails

you really have to worry about delivering that value.

And, when they click on something,

that the click delivers value.

Don't try to entice them or trick them

into opening an email or clicking on a link

and then giving them something different.

Don't do a bait and switch,

because you'll only be able to get away with that one time

and then they're not gonna open your emails anymore.

So that just scratches the surface.

Of course, there's huge amounts there.

It's all about copyrighting is what we're talkin' about.

First of all, there's a subject line to get people to open.

That's your headline.

And then once you get them in the email,

it's getting to read and getting to take action.

But at the end of the day,

the most important thing is following through

on that implied contract that you said,

"If you gimme your email address,

"I'm gonna give you something."

And probably implied in that is I'm going

to give you some value.

Doesn't mean you can't sell.

Doesn't mean you shouldn't sell.

I sell all the time.

I sell millions of dollars of my product

and other people's products through emails.

But you have to build that relationship

when they opt-in.

You have to give them what they opted in for.

And, you have to do it in a

a way that builds trust, that builds authority,

that builds rapport.

There's no short cut to this.

I mean, you can go,

there's email subject lines you could put in there

that'll get a huge open,

but they're fundamentally dishonest,

or untruthful, or disingenuous.

If you do that, you get one click,

you're not going to continue to get the clicks.

So it's like any relationship, really.

Like if you have a relationship and you continue

to build value within that relationship,

that relationship will flourish.

Same thing with your emails.

There you go.

How to get your emails opened and clicked.

So I'm Jeff Walker.

leave a comment for me,

and let's go get 'em this week.
