I'm a pure Japanese.
But almost of my followers are Filipinos!
I think many Filipinos have come to Japan.
Lately as much as there are a lot of people coming to Japan for travel,
there are also plenty who come for long-term either for study or for work
I've often received some comments that Filipinos have planed to go to Japan.
So today I will show you some spots that I'd recommend for Filipinos who've started to live in Japan
As you know, I have a lot of Filipino viewers.
So, I want to tell you something good in Japan.
I was surprised at various things when I first went to the Philippines.
There are a lot of differences between Philippines and Japan.
For example, we don't have jeepneys and tricycles.
There are many stuff that we can't see in Japan.
That's why, I want to tell you something that you don't know in Japan.
I'm going to only talk about it today.
I live in Tokyo now.
When it comes to Tokyo, I recommend you should go to Shibuya.
There is famous for its crossing called Scramble.
I really want you to see it.
You must be surprised at it.
There are incredibly many people crossing the intersection like that.
Scramble is one of the most popular spots for foreign people.
They often take a video while walking.
I totally recommend it.
Another place in Tokyo which I often go is Harajuku.
It is mainly for young people.
We can see a great number of young people in "the Takeshita street".
I wonder if most of young people in Japan are there😂
Harajuku is also famous for crapes.
So, there are people who eat it while walking.
We can find lots of shops which have opened for the first time in Japan.
That's why, Japanese tend to stand in line for going to these shops.
That's kind of weird.
I have more things I want to recommend for Filipinos.
I know many of you like anime.
You should go to Akihabara.
It is like a town for people who like anime.
You can find some anime, comics and characters which you like.
It is also famous and popular town for foreign people, so you should try to go.
The name is "Akihabara".
When it comes to generally famous place,
there are some towers called "Tokyo tower" and "Sky tree" in Tokyo.
Personally, I think "Tokyo tower" is more beautiful.
You can go up it.
You should try it!
I haven't gone up it, though😂
You should go there!
Another recommendation is "Tokyo Disneyland".
I've heard from many Filipinos that they want to go there.
I think they often say they want to go there.
Do you know where it is?
In fact, it is located not in Tokyo but in Chiba which is next to Tokyo.
The name is related to Tokyo, though.
Don't forget it.
And personally, I want to recommend "Roppongi hills" which is placed in Roppongi.
It is a big building and I really recommend a sky deck on its roof top.
It's unusual to be on some guidebooks.
You should definitely go there.
Well, something like that.
Besides that, I recommend you should enjoy eating Japanese dishes.
You should try something like Tempura, Sushi and Sukiyaki.
There are some Japanese style restaurants in the Philippines, right?
But, it is totally difference from original Japanese food especially like Sushi.
That's why, I want you to eat authentic Japanese food.
Do you want to use a cell phone in Japan
when you get a chance to stay there for a long time for work or study, don't you?
I think It's quite difficult to use it abroad
I heard from a Filipino friend that there is a sim card which is popular for foreign people in Japan.
I asked about it and I thought it was so good.
I'd like to share with you.
Don't you want to upload some photos on your Instagram and Facebook?😂
So, you must need a cell phone during your stay in Japan.
This is the sim card called "JP SMART SIM".
You can see kind of an anime character.
I heard that in general, it's so difficult for foreign people to contract to buy a new cell phone in Japan.
Tourists usually stay for short periods, so they can't contract.
Basically, you have to contract for 2 years.
If you want to cancel it, you have to pay 10,000 yen(about 5,000pesos) as a penalty.
It's so expensive.
Basically, when you contract, you must have your Inkan(official seal) and bank account.
And you have to fill out a lot of papers.
I didn't know that.
It's strict and hard when you buy a Sim card, right?
But, my friend gave me advice that they who are going to stay for short periods can contract to buy the sim card.
You don't have to worry about cancelation fees.
You can apply for it if you upload your passport or residence card.
You can apply for it online!
And surprisingly, you can get and use it the next day.
It's awesome, isn't it?
I recommend you should apply for it before you come to Japan.
And you can get and use it as soon as you arrive at Japan.
It's really convenient.
To be honest, I don't have any sim cards and wifi routers when I visit the Philippines.
I'm always searching for wifi in some malls during my stay.
So,I envy you!
Going back to the sim card, basically you have to pay for it with a credit card.
But, many Filipinos don't have it, right?
Fortunately, you can pay for the sim card without a credit card.
It sounds great!
It's kind to Filipinos.
I heard that you can pay for it at a convenience store as a pre-paid.
Is it similar to cell phones in the Philippines in terms of pre-paid types?
That's why,I think you can imagine easily.
This is it.
It looks cool!
It's stylish!
You can receive some papers with the card after applying for it.
It must be easy to set it if you read them
I heard that the company which made it has customer support staffs who are from the Philippines.
So, you can ask them about something in Tagalog.
I envy you! I always have a hard time because I don't have a sim card every time I go to the Philippines.
I've totally wanted to recommend it since I heard it from my friend
because I get in trouble due to a sim card in the Philippines.
That's why, I think it's great and convenient because you can use it as soon as you arrive.
So, I decided to share it with you in this video.
I've seen a lot of comments of Filipinos who are going to come to Japan
and who have friends or relatives staying in Japan.
That's why, I want to tell you something good and informative this time.
Please remember my recommendations in Japan I already told you.
And you should also remember this sim card.
I totally recommend it!
You should try to use it if you have a chance to come to Japan.
And you should recommend it to your friends.
I think it's really convenient.
Actually, I want to know something good in the Philippines.
So, please tell me something good and informative in the Philippines in the comment box.
That's about it.
Thank you so much.
Please come to Japan!
