My 3 current favourite apps for artist - Duration: 11:00.
Hi and welcome to everydayidraw.
My name is Maja and today I will share my
top three best apps for artists with you.
As with any video on this channel I want
to remind you that this is only my
version. So if you have any other
suggestions please leave them down in
the comments below. I will share these
apps for both Android and iPhone. Even
though I will show it in my android all
the iPhone apps links will be listed
down below. And I want to start with
a good old Instagram. And you might be like:
"...well, hello... So obvious..." I know it is, but
there are a couple of things that
I wanted to mention about Instagram. First
is the tip, that I got from @anna_cattish
And you probably know her, guys, from
Instagram, because she's so big there! And
she's so amazing. And she told me, that
you should only follow the best artists,
because it will help you to do the
better visual library. And what I mean by
best artist, is that you, at first, know
the industry that you want to working.
For example, I really want to work in
game industry. I want to work with Bungie and
Blizzard, and Riot games, and, you know,
all the cool people. So I follow the best
people from my industry. It helps me by
seeing all of those amazing pictures,
illustrations and art, to actually up my
level. Because when I need to draw
something, I look inside my head, right?
We all do. We only draw things that we know
and we love. This is why, if you look at
the best of the best works your level of
visual library will actually get leveled
up really fast. You will not come with
bad decisions. Well, I mean, you will, but
you will lessen this opportunity to come up
with bad decisions, because you will
only see the best works. What I usually do, is
found out that pretty much all the cool
people do this kind of thing. So, I go on
social media where it is impossible to
remove somebody from your feed without
unfollowing them. For example, Instagram.
And I tend to find one cool person that
I really really love. And then I take a
look at their subscriptions. Like who
they are subscribed to. And usually I end up
adding a good bunch of 10-15 people
from their feed. Because, again, it helps
me to broad my vision. I also save
inspiration as probably all of us do.
I screenshot them and then I save them to
my Dropbox and from there they usually
go to my Pinterest boards. If you're
interested I will leave link to my
Pinterest as well. Last thing is that you
usually use your Instagram just as a, you
know, place, where you just randomly post
pictures that you did and occasionally
you post your cat. What I decided to do
this year and I was actually really
inspired by this course "Instagram with
intention" from Dean Street Society. Again,
links will be listed down below.
I figured out that all of the top artists
used their Instagram as a place where
they promote themselves. And, again, this
really depends on to whom do you want
to promote yourself. In my case I have
two audiences: you guys, aspiring artists,
people, who love to draw and who really
want to work in the same industry as
I do, like game design and stuff, and on the
other hand I have people, who are working
in the game design industry, and who are
my future clients. Like art directors,
artists, concept artists and stuff like
that. So I have to think of the ways to
get them both interested. Like to get you
guys interested in my Instagram and with
you I usually tend to think about like,
what it is, that is important to you, like,
you guys want to learn how to draw, how
to make money with it, how to build a
successful freelance business.
So those are the things, that I will talk
about on my Instagram. For example, I will
post a picture, but not only a picture,
but I will break it down to steps,
so you can see, how I did it, so you can
become smarter, probably, make your art
better, and it will help you to feel like
my Instagram feed is something, that
you're really looking forward
to checking, maybe. I really hope so. So, if you're

to see more. And on the other hand I have
to show to future clients, like
art directors, that at first I can draw.
And then, that I can work with client jobs.
Like I can deal with *** goals. And again,
I will show it up on my Instagram.
Like, I will show more client work, if I'm
allowed, and I will talk about how I did
come up with this solution, why it was
important for the client. I also show,
that I really enjoy gaming. I mean, like,
I've started to enjoy it probably like a
month ago. So I'm a really new person to all
of this. But this is the things, that you
want to promote through your Instagram.
Like think of the audience, that you are
really wanting to talk to. And I think it
will help you a lot. The second application,
that I wanted to show you, is "Art anatomy"
or, it's called "3d Anatomy for artists".
And I've found similar thing, called "art
pose" for iPhone's. I will also leave a
link to an amazing tutorial on how to use
this particular app on iPhone, somewhere
in the cards. So please, check it out. This
app is amazing,
because you have a real 3d model of head,
trunk, upper and lower limbs. You can see
separate bones, part of bodies, and you
can see muscles. Also you have a view of
a full body. It's fully 3d, so you can
rotate it the way you want, you can see
different muscles in layers, like deep
muscles, or muscles, that actually create
the curves on the surface of the body.
I have a paid version, but I don't really
remember how much it costs. Like maybe 15$.
But I totally never regretted it,
because this app is so amazing. The only
down thing is, that on Android you have
no poses.
And if you're working on "Art Pose", on
iPhone, you could have poses. But I don't
really mind, because I combined this up
with anatomy courses. For example, if you
are thinking about learning anatomy in
English, I do recommend you to check out
Proko's videos. Again, they will be listed in the cards. And if you are
Russian viewer, you probably heard
about Alexander Rizhkin:D

Amazing, guys! So what
I usually do, is I would watch a little
bit of anatomy course. For instance,
I would do it with, let's say upper limbs,
like arms and stuff, torso.
I would watch a course to understand the
structure of the body. Then I would head
over to posemaniacs,
or any websites, that provides you with the
poses. On YouTube it would be Croquis Cafe,
I really love them, guys. And
I support them on Patreon. Check them out,
they are amazing. I would use my current
knowledge of anatomy to draw poses, but
in this case I don't really draw like 15
minutes poses, it would be a lot more
longer, like maybe half an hour to an
hour. And then I have a model in front of
me, on my monitor. And I have this app
open, because in case I have any doubts
about, like, what it is that I'm seeing on
the model right now, like, what kind of
muscle is that. I will check it out on my
3d app. And it's been amazing help to
remember all of those muscles, because,
you know guys, there are a shitload of
them in the human body. So this is how
I would use that. I don't necessarily
create poses in the app, because I find
it to be too stiff. And if I need any
kind of pose, I would rather look it up
on pose websites. And I will leave links
to several of them in the description
box down below. And the last app, I wanted
to show you today, is called "3D handy",
or "Handy art tool". It has 3d models of
hands, feet and heads. Both male and
female. You can rotate them the way you
want to.
You can change the lighting, you cannot
really see the muscles here, but with
hands I find it to be intimidating to
think about muscles, because there are
too much of them. And I'd rather work
with overall shape and form of the hand.
This I use as a reference to my drawings.
Like, for example, if I had hard time
drawing a hand or the pose, that I've
chosen in the previous step, doesn't
really, like "show" the hand, the way I need to,
Then I will go over to this app.
I also find it very useful with heads.
Because on 3D anatomy you cannot really
change the lighting. It's just, you know,
the overall basic lighting. But here you
can turn on and off different light
sources, then, for example, if you are
working on a portrait, it will really
help you to understand the way the light
works on your characters face, which
I find to be amazing. This app actually has
a limited amount of poses, but for me,
I find it to be sufficient enough, right
now. So those are my top 3 apps for

I am going to be sharing with you my no makeup makeup look
this look doesn't take too much of time, and you won't need too many products and this is also my everyday makeup look and
Let's get started
Before putting any make up moisturize your face. I've already done that
Next I'm going to use a BB cream. I highly recommend you to add this to your beauty routine
I'm going apply some on my neck
It gives light coverage and makes your complexion even it feels light on the skin so your face won't melt if you sweat
Which can happen with foundation now. I'm going to conceal my under eye area using the concealer
Next let's seal it all in using a pressed powder
Now I'm going to fill in my brows to get a fuller look
For my eyes, I'm going to use this champagne highlighter and apply it all over my lid
I picked this color because the shade is neutral and the shimmer really brightens up my eyes
I Highly recommend neutral eyeshadows for everyday makeup in either shiny or matte effect next I'm going to apply waterproof mascara
I tend to yawn a lot and whenever I yawn I get watery eyes, so if you're like me a waterproof mascara is a must-have
Next I'm going to apply some blush on the apples of my cheeks
I'm using a lip cheek stain you can also use makeup revolution vivid blush
Of all the products that I have tried these give a really nice beautiful
natural pink hue
Now I'm going to contour my nose and highlight the bridge of my nose
Now I'm going to highlight the bridge of my nose
For my lips I'm going to use this sugar Holly Golightly lipstick it has a really nice pinkish nude color

You'll also get a robe and slippers, luxury toiletries and bottled water, which I think
is a good deal.
