BREAKING: At Least 3 Dead In Massive School Shooting – Here's What's Happening On

Scene Now.

It's a new week and now another shooting with multiple fatalities at the hands of a

deranged gunman.

After a terrorist attack in Manhattan, a random shooting in a Colorado Walmart, and a Texas

church massacre within the last 30 days, all starting with the biggest mass shooting in

modern history on October 1 in Las Vegas, the last six weeks have been the bloodiest

on record for America.

Now, a California elementary school can be added to this unfortunate list.

Initial reports are coming out now saying that 90-100 shots were fired, resulting in

three deaths so far at Rancho Tehama School in Rancho Tehama, California.

KRCTV reports:

Tehama County officials are responding to a reported shooting near a school in Rancho

Tehama, near Corning.

Officials said they were called around 8 a.m. Tuesday to a home near Rancho Tehama School

where a man was reportedly shot.

Officials said they are actively searching for the shooter.

Officials are telling residents in the Rancho Tehama area to stay inside their homes until

they are able to secure the situation.

Students at Rancho Tehama Elementary are being evacuated to the Rancho Tehama Recreation

Hall.

Parents can pick up their children there.

A witness named Tiffany, who operates Coffee Addiction Coffee Shop near the school, told

KRCR News Channel 7 she heard 90-100 shots fired.

She reported seeing a Honda drive by with the windows shot out.

She also saw at least five ambulances responding to the area.

Tiffany's husband, Brian Rodgers, said another witness reported seeing a white pickup drive

through the school gate and start shooting.

Authorities have not confirmed the number of victims.

Rancho Tehama is a community of about 3,500 northwest of Corning.

This is a developing story, please check back for updates.

Adding to that information is another report just released by KCCI8 in Des Moines, Iowa:

A reported shooting in northern California has left at least three people dead.

The Tehama County Sheriff's Office says the shooting happened near an elementary school

in Rancho Tehama.

"Multiple students" have been airlifted from the scene.

A 6-year-old is reportedly among the injured.

Rancho Tehama Elementary is reportedly now in lockdown.

Local law enforcement have blocked off the road that leads to the school.

The area is under lockdown and roadblocks are preventing parents from getting to their

students trapped at the school.

"Parents are in distress stuck behind road block not knowing the status of their kids

at school in Rancho Tehama where the shooter ended up," Sara Stinson wrote on Twitter.

WSBT reports:

Tehama County officials are responding to a reported shooting near a school in Rancho

Rancho Tehama is a community of about 3,500 northwest of Corning.

This is not a gun problem, it's a deranged individual problem of psychopaths seeking

vengeance against a type of person they disagree with.

For some reason, liberals seem to perpetually ignore this fact and blame the weapon, not

the beliefs or affiliations of the person who pulled the trigger.

Americans, specifically Christians and children are under attack in these trying days prophesized

about in the Bible that we are seeing come to fruition under the most terrifying terms.

In September, white Tennessee churchgoers were ambushed and killed by a gunman in an

unprovoked attack that was swiftly swept under the rug by the mainstream media desperate

to hide the important details and keep the attention on irrelevant issues like Russian

collusion.

Now, the blood of 26 faithful believers is now on their hands after disregarding the

clear and present threat in this country to keep the focus on their rhetoric.

There's no hiding what's happening now and every American needs to be on high alert

for what's coming.

These are sad times we live in and we need to have the ability to defend ourselves, our

loved ones, and students from these unprovoked attacks.

With the number of schools that have now come under direct threat of ambush, it's time

to consider arming our teachers and providing armed security at our schools.

What do you think about this?

Subtle Communication 3 Ways You And Your Soul Connect - Duration: 3:31.

Subtle Communication 3 Ways You And Your Soul Connect

by Conscious Reminder

Did you know that your Soul communicates with you?

Yes, it does.

In this modern world, we are so worried about our material possessions.

We are so absorbed by our life decisions and our hectic schedules that we totally forget

to sit down and talk to our souls.

And this is certainly bad for us!

Because, the Soul really wants to talk to us and guide us and teach us lessons so that

we can become better people.

Some of us dont even know the ways using which our Soul tries to communicate with us.

Here are three ways which our Soul tries to make a connection with us in order to inspire

and impact us in order to enrich our lives:

1.

Your Soul speaks through curiosity:

If you are becoming curious, your Soul is trying to communicate with you.

This happens because the Soul is asking all those questions that you are asking from the

World.

These questions and their answers are going to help you lead a better life and this is

why the Soul is forcing you to ask those questions from the world around you.

Being curious also shows that the soul wants you to understand the different perceptions

and facets of this world as looking at the world from different angles will help you

live a better life.

You have to understand that there are two sides to every story and you should not settle

with the side that is easily visible to you.

Be curious, your Soul wants you to be so.

2.

Your Soul speaks through gut feeling and intuition:

When you feel that you have a strong gut feeling or intuition about something around you, be

sure that you Soul is guiding you.

Your Soul is trying to make you more aware about the dangers that lie in your way and

make you more cognizant of the fact that you need to be more conscious about yourself.

So, when you experience a strong gut feeling about something, dont just ignore it and

let it go.

Focus on it and follow it because your Soul is trying to tell you something that you may

not know about.

3.

Your Soul speaks to you via dreams:

If you are having vivid dreams about the events that are going to happen to you or have happened

to you already, your Soul is trying to talk to you.

Maybe your Soul is speaking to you through your dreams in order to tell you about something

in greater detail.

Most of us just dont focus on our dreams and deny a way that our Soul chooses to talk

to us.

Dont do that.

Try to understand and evaluate your dreams.

You might learn something that you need to know in order to lead a happy life.

All that you need to remember is that your SOUL is your friend.

It wants to add some positive value to your life and it does so through various means.

You have to allow your Soul to guide you otherwise you might miss the things that your Soul is

trying to teach you.

Resistance Training Glasses | Simplexity Product Development - Duration: 1:38.

Hello, my name is Joe Bingold.

I am cofounder and CEO of Senaptec.

We develop tools to assess and improve how good your senses are.

So we came to Simplexity to develop our strobe eyewear.

The lenses can flicker on and off, which creates resistance training for your brain.

As a young company, we don't have a lot of internal talent to do the myriad of things

you need to do to develop a product like this.

And rather than trying to hire a bunch of different people all over the nation and bring

them in house, we thought, why not go to a firm that already has all that expertise to

develop products like this and then have them do it with us?

Working with Simplexity was pretty easy, to be honest.

They took copious notes, asked lots of questions about what is it we wanted to do, what are

our design factors, how much do we want it to cost to manufacture, what are our trade-offs

that we have?

The real reason to go to Simplexity was simply they have all the skills already in house

and we could immediately start working with them.

It's nice to communicate, "Oh, by the way, you have this problem."

It's even better to communicate, "By the way, in about a month, you might have this problem,

and so you should be thinking ahead now how you're gonna want to solve that so that we

don't waste any time in design or rework."

They are always looking ahead and that's super helpful.

They work with Fortune 100 companies.

They work with startups likes us.

They have got the whole gamut there, so listen, be flexible and listen to their advice because

it will...in the end it will probably pay off.

DUMB QUESTIONS WE'VE BEEN ASKED AT WORK #2 | Dolan True Stories - Duration: 8:38.

• From goat eggs to grass fed coffee beans, the Planet Dolan crew re-enact some of the

best true stories from our subreddit about the dumbest questions we've been asked at

work.

I'm Hellbent and today I'll be your narrator.

Number 10 was submitted by KillDozer688 MKyleM

MKyleM used to work at an open farm caring for goats and chickens.

The goats were his main focus, but MKyleM often had to keep an eye out for chicken eggs.

Because the chickens were free-roaming, they would often lay eggs in the goats' hayrack.

When MKyleM came out of one of the goat houses with a few chicken eggs, he found a woman

and her son watching him.

The kid asked, "Are those goat eggs?"

MKyleM just said, "No, goat eggs are purple and made of chocolate."

Number 9 was submitted by De-La-Rossa99 Ramona

When Ramona was 16 she subbed for the receptionist at a salon.

One day, an elderly woman wearing a red pantsuit, luxurious brown furs, stiletto heels, and

oversized sunglasses, came in carrying her little Pomeranian.

She went up to Ramona and asked her what haircuts they offered.

Ramona pulled out a stylebook of the latest hair trends and dyes.

The lady settled on dying her hair and just a simple cut.

As Ramona led her to the part of the salon where they do hair, she asked, "Can you do

the same for my dog?"

Ramona had to tell her politely, no, since this was clearly a salon for humans.

She flipped out and started barking at her like she was stupid.

Luckily the owner stepped in.

Number 8 was submitted by maddog197x Civil Spider

When Civil Spider worked at Panera Bread, a guy walked in late one evening.

He asked if they were serving any of their breakfast items.

Civil Spider told him they stop selling breakfast items at 10:30.

The customer gave him a look and said, "So why aren't you still selling them right now?"

Civil Spider had to explain that he meant 10:30 in the morning.

The place isn't even open at 10.30 pm.

The man slowly nodded and said, "Well, that's fine.

I came here to get mac and cheese anyway."

In his head, Civil Spider thought: then why the hell did you ask about breakfast?!

Number 7 was submitted by VolitantTooth Ladybot

Ladybot used to work as a lifeguard at a beach in a conservative town, and was often questioned

by religious people about her beliefs.

This could get a little uncomfortable, since several members of the staff weren't exactly

straight.

She generally tried to keep that information secret, for obvious reasons.

One day though, a middle-aged mother ran up to her, red-faced with her son in tow.

She yelled at Ladybot: "WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO IMPURIFY MY SON WITH YOUR UNHOLY DESIRES?"

Number 6 was submitted by Crazy_Coyote_KY SweetCommando

When SweetCommando was working the counter at a bakery, a man came in and ordered a dozen

donuts.

After receiving his order, the man then asked if SweetCommando was sure there were a dozen

donuts in the box.

SweetCommando opened the box to recount.

He got to 12 and the man asked, "Where's the last one?"

The man said it was the law that they had to give him 13 donuts, or a "bakery" dozen.

SweetCommando had to explain several things.

First, the man had ordered a dozen donuts not a baker's dozen.

Second, it's a 'baker's dozen' not a bakery dozen.

And most importantly, there is no law that says a bakery has to sell donuts in that number.

The man took his order and said he was never coming back.

He was back three days later.

Number 5 was submitted by PuntifulJokes Doopie

When Doopie worked as a waitress at a little coffee shop she would sometimes get questions

from people that didn't know much about coffee, like "What does three shots mean?"

One day, a guy came in and when it was his turn to order, Doopie asked him nicely what

he wanted.

His response was "Are your coffee beans grass fed organic?"

She explained that coffee beans are plants and aren't fed grass.

He asked again: "So are they grass fed or not?"

Doopie couldn't get through to him so just told him no, they were not grass fed.

The man left the shop without ordering.

Number 4 was submitted by Tattoed_Wolf_Girl21 Robo

Robo worked at a movie theatre as a cleaner, cleaning the cinemas, and the bathrooms.

One day she was in charge of checking the women's bathroom every half-hour, just to

make sure there wasn't a huge mess.

As Robo entered one of them, a woman followed her in and asked: "Excuse me, where is the

bathroom?"

***

Robo stared at her for a moment to see if she was joking, but she was actually serious.

The woman patiently waited for Robo so she just pointed towards the stalls.

The woman looked at them and said with a smile "Oh!

I thought this was the boys room - thanks so much!"

Then she walked out of the bathroom.

Number 3 was submitted by Xylia_Mai_Tsukino Pandora

Pandora worked at a 'Dollar Tree', which is a place that sells random things for $1.00

each, hence the name Dollar Tree.

One day she was at the register waiting to check someone out when another woman just

a few feet away spoke to her.

"Excuse me?

How much is this?" she asked.

"It's a dollar ma'am," Pandora replied, trying not to be insulting.

"Oh...

And how much is this?"

She asked pointing to a cup.

"It's also a dollar.

Everything here is a dollar ma'am," Pandora replied, biting her tongue.

The store had signs EVERYWHERE saying, "Everything's a dollar!"

The signs in the window said the same thing.

Number 2 was submitted by Calcifer84 Cid

Cid once worked at an 12th century motte-and-bailey Castle in England, which is essentially a

big stonewalled fort with a fancy portcullis gatehouse.

While on a break and heading to the toilet, a confused young tourist with a kid stopped

him and asked, "S'cuse me?

Where is the castle?"

Cid thought she was joking, but it quickly dawned on him that she wasn't.

He said "You're already at the castle, miss," and he gestured with his hand to the surrounding

buildings and the castle walls.

She replied "No, not this, the real castle."

Cid insisted, "This is the real castle".

She started talking slower like he was dumb.

"Noooo, the castle?

Big tall thing with pointy turrets, towers and a drawbridge."

Cid explained again: "Miss, this is the castle, you're within its walls now.

We are standing in its central courtyard, that's the gatehouse you just walked through..."

She then cut him off.

" I don't believe this!

You're advertised as a bloody Castle for [beep] sake.

All that's here is a stonewall!"

She later complained and demanded her money back saying it didn't look anything like castles

in films.

When asked what films, she replied 'Disney'.

Number 1 – What's the dumbest question I've been asked at work?

24Hrs After Racist Kaepernick Gets Citizen Award He Gets BAD News About White Guy Who Gets It Now. - Duration: 5:14.

24Hrs After Racist Kaepernick Gets Citizen Award He Gets BAD News About White Guy Who

Gets It Now.

Yesterday, GQ Magazine executives unveiled their pick for "Citizen of the Year, " and

of course, the left-leaning publication whose readership consists mostly of Beta males chose

Colin Kaepernick.

People across social media ripped into the magazine for picking such a controversial

person considering that there were so many others out there that were more worthy of

the award.

Now, just a day after Kaepernick was given this title he has received some bad news that

he could lose the award to someone much more deserving.

For over a year, the left has lauded Colin Kaepernick as some sort of "freedom fighter"

that is standing against racial injustice in America.

Somehow the irony is lost on these liberals in the mainstream media that Kaepernick is

a multi-millionaire who has not suffered an ounce of prejudice in his life.

At any rate, the left has propped Kaepernick up as their hero and parade him around despite

the fact that he has done nothing to improve race relations in the country.

Evidently, that is all the liberals need though to award someone with the title "Citizen

of the Year."

Thankfully, not everyone in the country agrees with Kaepernick being given this title considering

that there are many other people out there that deserve it.

One of those people that think this award given to Kaepernick is a sham is former ESPN

host Britt McHenry who took to Twitter to point out who she thinks deserves the award

more.

McHenry mentions the apparent person that should be celebrated, and I am sure the majority

of Americans would agree.

Then McHenry goes right to the crux of the issue and mentions the disgusting socks, communist

shirt, offensive statements he and his Muslim girlfriend have made designed to inflame the

masses.

However, the best part of McHenry's entire Twitter thread is when she educated all those

who say she doesn't understand the importance of Kaepernick's protest.

Here is more from NY Daily News:

Britt McHenry is taking a stand against GQ naming Colin Kaepernick its "Citizen of

the Year" for taking a knee.

The former ESPN reporter bashed GQ and Kaepernick on Twitter Monday shortly after the magazine

announced it would be honoring the polarizing quarterback.

"Wear socks depicting police officers as pigs; wear Fidel Castro as a fashion statement

IN MIAMI; sue NFL for collusion when gf compares owners to slave owners…Win Citizen of the

Year.

Serve in the US military…nothing.

What a joke, GQ.

#Kaepernick," McHenry wrote.

McHenry has frequently criticized Kaepernick for initiating the national anthem protest

movement.

McHenry was one of 100 ESPN employees let go by the network in late April.

The recognizable sports reporter later said she believed her conservative views had something

to do with her firing.

Since being let go by ESPN, McHenry has frequently appeared as a guest on Fox News.

McHenry has also taken to Twitter to voice her conservative views.

In recent weeks McHenry has praised Donald Trump, insinuated Hillary Clinton "rigged"

the Democratic National Convention and criticized Spurs coach Gregg Popovich for discussing

politics in his interviews.

GQ said they decided to honor Kaepernick due to his activism both on and off the field.

"Colin Kaepernick's determined stand puts him in rare company in sports history: Muhammad

Ali, Jackie Robinson — athletes who risked everything to make a difference," the editors

of GQ wrote.

McHenry later said she does, in fact, understand the underlying reason behind the protests,

but believes players such as Malcolm Jenkins and Kenny Stills were more worthy choices.

"For those who think I don't get the reason for protest you're wrong," McHenry wrote.

"Eagles Malcolm Jenkins met with lawmakers to help community.

Dolphins Kenny Stills met with Miami police.

More examples of Citizen of the Year."

McHenry also said J.J.

Watt would have been a better choice for Citizen of the Year.

The Texans defensive end raised more than $37 million for Hurricane Harvey relief.

"JJ Watt raised $37 million for Hurricane Harvey victims.

37 MILLION!

But Kaepernick refused to stand for our national anthem (a year ago) and is Citizen of the

Year.

Right…," McHenry wrote.

If GQ Magazine truly desired to celebrate someone in America that was doing the right

thing, they should have given it to Houston Texans star J.J.

Watt, who raised more than $37 million to aid the victims of Hurricane Harvey in September.

Watts used his platform in the NFL to help people in his community with action but somehow

to the left that isn't the "good citizen" they are looking to applaud.

The left is only concerned with praising people in the media that are willing to tear America

apart and not unify it.

Kaepernick was chosen since he represents everything that they are and he is the perfect

person to manipulate, and he doesn't even see it.

It would be fantastic to see GQ Magazine remove this race-baiter from their cover and give

this award to someone who truly deserves it, but that won't happen until we the people

start pushing back even more.

YEAH, BUT IT'S A GREAT OPPORTUNITY.

SURE, GREAT FOR YOUR DAD, BUT WHAT ABOUT YOU?

CAN'T YOU AT LEAST TALK TO HIM?

YEAH, THAT'LL GO OVER BIG.

"HEY, DAD, CAN I STAY IN CANTON AND FIGHT DEADLY ROBOTS

WHILE YOU LIVE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD?"

MAYBE NOT LIKE THAT EXACTLY.

DOESN'T MATTER HOW I SAY IT.

IT'S MY DAD.

WE'VE SPENT WAY TOO MUCH TIME APART ALREADY.

YOU OF ALL PEOPLE SHOULD UNDERSTAND THAT, ISH.

I'M SORRY.

NO. YOU KEEP IT.

AT LEAST FOR A WHILE.

ISH IS CORRECT.

UNTIL THE SAFE ZONE IS BACK AT FULL CAPACITY,

WE ARE ALL SUBJECT TO ATTACK.

WHAT COULD HAPPEN IN TWO HOURS?

WITH WILD CARD, YOU NEVER KNOW.

DROP KICK!

I SEE YOU ARE REFRESHED.

HAPPY, SIR?

HAPPY?

DOES THIS LOOK LIKE THE FACE OF A HAPPY MAN?

IT'S RATHER HARD TO TELL.

DO NOT MOCK ME!

YOUR SCORPION BOT FAILED!

SIR, HOW WAS I TO PREPARE?

A SECOND GUARDIAN?

THAT WAS NEVER IN THE PLAN.

THEN MAKE A NEW PLAN.

GET ME ANOTHER MEGACORE TONIGHT!

I WILL TAKE CARE OF THE GUARDIANS.

BUT, MASTER, YOUR CONDITION.

YOU REALLY SHOULDN'T VENTURE OUT SO OFTEN

WITHOUT MORE POWER.

I HAVE ALL THE POWER I NEED RIGHT HERE.

RETURN THIS TO THE HOLDING CELL

WHILE I PREPARE FOR THE ATTACK.

Ash: BYE ISH.

TEXT ME ONCE IN A WHILE, OKAY?

HOPE YOU HAVE UNLIMITED.

[ ENGINE TURNS OVER ]

COME ON IN, GUYS.

FOURTH QUARTER'S ABOUT TO START.

Irvin: HEY, I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU,

BUT THIS GAME HAS BEEN SO EXCITING,

I'VE GOTTEN A WORKOUT IN JUST BY WATCHING.

GOOD THING TOO.

WITH ALL THE TURKEY AND PIE YOU ATE TODAY,

YOU COULD USE THE EXERCISE.

YOU SAID IT.

HEY, WAIT A MINUTE.

THIS JUST IN.

NO CHANGE IN THE CONDITION OF THOSE SICK PLAYERS.

HANG IN THERE, GUYS.

Eisen: DeMARCUS WARE GETS THE SACK.

FUMBLE! WARE RECOVERS!

THERE'S NO ONE AROUND HIM.

HE'S GOING ALL THE WAY!

30, 20, 10!

[ GROANING ]

TOUCHDOWN, COWBOYS!

OH!

STILL GOT TIME.

DON'T LOSE FAITH.

[ CLANKING ]

[ RUMBLING ]

HEY! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?

[ GROANING ]

I THINK I'M ABOUT TO STEAL THE REDSKINS MEGACORE.

Dales: I'M HERE WITH COWBOYS LINEBACKER DeMARCUS WARE,

FOUR-TIME ALL-PRO

AND MEMBER OF NFL's 2000s ALL-DECADE TEAM.

WHAT A SPECTACULAR CAREER.

WHAT A GAME!

WHAT WAS GOING THROUGH YOUR MIND

WHEN YOU CAUSED THAT FUMBLE?

I SAW OPPORTUNITY AND I JUST WENT FOR IT.

WE TRAIN HARD TO RECOGNIZE GOOD OPPORTUNITIES.

BUT IN TRUTH,

SOMETIMES THINGS JUST HAPPEN

AND YOU JUST GOT TO DEAL WITH IT.

LIKE SNAGGING A FUMBLE AND RUNNING IT

ALL THE WAY FOR A TOUCHDOWN?

UH, SOMETHING LIKE THAT.

THANKS FOR TALKING WITH US.

MY PLEASURE.

BACK TO YOU IN THE BOOTH.

BAM!

THAT'S HOW YOU DO IT!

I CLEANED UP ON THE FANTASY TEAM!

YOU OKAY, BRO?

YEAH. I'LL LIVE.

YOU KNOW WHAT MAKES ME FEEL BETTER -- ICE CREAM.

WHAT FLAVOR DID YOU BRING BACK?

ICE CREAM?

YEAH. YOUR MOM SAID THAT'S WHAT YOU AND ASH WERE DOING.

[ LAUGHING ]

GETTING ICE CREAM.

[ BEEPING ]

OH, RIGHT. I FORGOT.

I'LL GO GET SOME NOW.

[ GASPS ]

STOP RIGHT THERE!

THIS PLAN IS GOING TO SUCCEED.

[ MUFFLED GRUNTING ]

Ish: YOU THINK YOU CAN BEAT THE GUARDIANS

WITH SECOND-HAND PARTS?

AH, BUT I'VE MADE A FEW IMPROVEMENTS.

THE ADDITION OF A MEGACORE, FOR EXAMPLE.

SO YOU HAVE A GOOD TIME VISITING THE TAYLORS?

YEAH.

ISH HAS ALREADY MADE SOME PRETTY TIGHT FRIENDS.

DON'T SAY "TIGHT," DAD.

WELL, YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.

HE SEEMS HAPPY.

YEAH.

DAD, MAYBE WE COULD MOVE HERE, YOU KNOW,

IF THE JOB DOESN'T WORK OUT OR WHATEVER?

YOU'D LIKE THAT? LIVING HERE?

IT'S NOT JUST THAT.

I MEAN, YEAH, THIS WOULD BE A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE.

BUT... THERE'S THIS OTHER THING.

IT'S KIND OF HARD TO EXPLAIN.

TRY, HONEY.

YOU KNOW YOU CAN TELL ME ANYTHING.

OKAY. I'LL JUST SAY IT.

DAD --

[ THUD ]

WHAT'S THAT?!

[ LAUGHS MANIACALLY ]

COME OUT AND FACE ME, GUARDIAN!

GUARDIAN?

ASH, NOW WOULD BE A GOOD TIME TO FILL ME IN.

[ NFL-R BEEPING ]

I WILL.

I'LL BE RIGHT BACK.

ASHLEY, WAIT!

WE MEET AGAIN.

HAD I KNOWN YOU WERE A GUARDIAN THE LAST TIME,

I WOULD HAVE FINISHED YOU THEN AND THERE.

IF I'D BEEN A GUARDIAN LAST TIME,

YOU WOULDN'T BE HERE TODAY.

OOH! COCKY.

I LIKE THAT.

ASHLEY, GET BACK IN THE CAR!

DAD, DON'T!

AAH!

DAD!

AAH!

[ GRUNTS ]

YOU CAN'T BEAT ME ALONE, GUARDIAN!

DeMARCUS!

NICE TACKLE!

THANKS, MAN.

NO PROBLEM.

JUST HELPING YOU DEFEND THE HOME TURF.

DEFEND AGAINST THIS, COWBOY.

DAD?

THAT, UH, "THING" YOU WANTED TO TALK ABOUT.

HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH YOU BEING A GUARDIAN?

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.

I'M SO SORRY.

ASH, THINGS HAPPEN WE CAN'T CONTROL.

YOU'VE ALWAYS BEEN ABLE TO TAKE WHAT LIFE HANDS YOU

AND MAKE THE BEST OF IT.

DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO.

YOU SURE?

UH, HELLO?

ARE WE DONE WITH THE FAMILY TIME?

THAT WAS ONLY A WARNING SHOT.

I LIKE TO PLAY WITH MY PREY.

YOU'RE CRAZY.

I AM NOT CRAZY!

I'M UNPREDICTABLE.

THERE'S A DIFFERENCE.

PREDICT THIS.

ENTER THE RUSH ZONE!

[ GRUNTING ]

FOOLISH CHILD.

YOU BORE ME.

I'LL BE BACK WHEN THERE'S A REAL BATTLE TO BE HAD.

R.Z.: WELCOME BACK, ASH.

ISH NEEDS YOU IN DALLAS.

I'M SENDING THE COWBOYS RUSHER NOW.

DAD? I GOT TO GO.

JUST... BE CAREFUL, OKAY?

I LOVE YOU, DAD.

NOTHING IS GONNA KEEP US APART.

[ GRUNTING ]

ISH!

YOU'RE BACK!

AND BETTER THAN EVER.

[ CLANK ]

YOU'LL REGRET THAT.

[ GRUNTING ]

THERE'S TWO OF US NOW.

Drop Kick: ONE OR TWO MAKES NO DIFFERENCE.

THE MEGACORE'S ENERGY MAKES THIS WEAPON INDESTRUCTIBLE.

THEN IT'S TIME TO KICK IT UP A NOTCH.

ASH, CATCH!

RUSH ZONE, SUPER KICK!

WHOA!

[ GROANS ]

GOT 'EM.

YOU WERE SAYING?

GLOATING IS SUCH AN UGLY HUMAN TRAIT.

THIS WILL NOT GO UNPUNISHED.

YOU GUYS OKAY?

THANKS TO YOU.

I'LL GET THAT BACK TO ITS RIGHTFUL OWNER.

THAT WAS CLOSE.

TOO CLOSE.

CLEARLY, YOU NEED A PARTNER.

YOU'RE STAYING?

YOU'LL BE THE FIRST TO KNOW

ONCE I TALK IT OVER WITH MY DAD.

BY THE WAY, HOW DID YOU KNOW

TO HAVE THAT NFL SHIELD COIN HANDY?

A GOOD GUARDIAN IS ALWAYS RFA.

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

"READY FOR ANYTHING."

Wild Card: LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT.

NOT ONLY DID YOU NOT GET THE SECOND MEGACORE

AS I DEMANDED,

YOU TOOK THE ONE I DID HAVE

AND LOST IT.

THE PLOT WAS FEASIBLE. IT SHOULD HAVE WORKED.

BUT THE UNEXPECTED APPEARANCE OF THE SECOND GUARDIAN

DISRUPTED MY PLAN.

ARE YOU SAYING

THIS IS MY FAULT?

NO, SIR.

ONLY THAT THINGS DIDN'T GO AS PLANNED.

YES.

DEALING WITH THE UNEXPECTED

TAKES A CERTAIN LEVEL OF HUMAN INGENUITY --

SOMETHING YOUR PITIFUL,

ROBOTIC BRAIN WILL NEVER HAVE.

STILL, I CAN'T HAVE YOU MAKING THAT KIND OF MISTAKE AGAIN.

YOUR PROGRAMMING NEEDS SOME UPDATING.

ESCORT DROP KICK TO THE REPROGRAMMING CHAMBER.

BUT, SIR!

YOU KNOW HOW THAT TAXES MY SYSTEM.

IT IS VERY UNPLEASANT.

EXACTLY.

Eisen: HERE'S AN UPDATE TO OUR EARLIER STORY.

ALL TEXANS PLAYERS ARE OUT OF THE HOSPITAL

AND HEADING HOME.

REPORTS OUT OF HOUSTON HAVE ALL PATIENTS --

PLAYERS AND FANS -- FULLY RECOVERED.

IT'S NOT THE EASIEST THING TO TALK ABOUT.

I WASN'T EVEN SURE YOU'D BELIEVE ME.

ASH...

I KNOW IT'S BEEN HARD FOR BOTH OF US

SINCE WE LOST YOUR MOM.

I'VE BEEN STRESSED AND TRAVELING,

BUT THERE'S NOTHING --

NOTHING -- WE CAN'T HANDLE WHEN WE WORK TOGETHER.

THANKS, DAD.

I'M SO GLAD WE'RE STAYING.

NOW, LET'S GO TRY SOME OF TUA'S SAMOAN SENSATION.

DELICIOUS.

DOESN'T EVEN NEED ICE CREAM.

YEAH, DUDE, WHAT HAPPENED?

YOU GET LOST OR SOMETHING?

WHAT CAN I SAY? I HAD TO IMPROVISE.

THIS CERTAINLY HAS BEEN AN UNUSUAL THANKSGIVING.

BUT A GOOD ONE JUST THE SAME.

HURRY UP, YOU GUYS.

THE THIRD GAME'S ABOUT TO START!

Interview Marie-Véronique Lacaze Président Witbe - La Bourse et la Vie - Duration: 7:37.

Hello Marie-Véronique Lacaze

You are the CEO of Witbe and we will be discussing your latest news.

You are meeting investors at the Brongniart Palace in Paris.

It has now been a little bit more than a year that you had your introduction on the stock market

What will you be telling them about Witbe regarding these past few months?

Indeed, it has been a little bit more than a year and it was very important for Witbe

We needed resources for our R&D Department, Sales, and Operations teams.

Even if things were already in place on an international level, especially in the US,

we truly needed these resources throughout all our departments to keep delivering our technology

for R&D, QA teams, sales department, etc.

And it's what we did with the IPO

It's true that an IPO doesn't give you a "magic wand".

Maybe we should have asked for the wand

that also turns the newly recruited sales team into Witbe experts within a few minutes

they know the product, the technology and the clients by heart already.

It took a little bit longer than what we expected but it turned out very well.

And today, we have started a second semester,

and we are truly confident with great new contracts, particularly in the US

It's true we talk a lot about the US, but keep in mind that it's a much larger country,

so the contracts are often more significant

But we do see a lot of improvement in Europe as well.

We feel that Quality of Experience, our core business,

is much well understood now by the market, which wasn't really the case

at the very beginning of Witbe in 2000, because yes, we are a 17 years old company!

Talking about this Quality of Experience for the users of digital services, what is behind all this?

Are we talking about software? What are you offering?

It's our Robots, in fact, they are servers.

Combining hardware and software, they reproduce end-users' behaviors.

In other words, the Robots will do exactly what you do at home.

They will turn on the television, watch a movie, go on Facebook, launch Youtube,

make a phone call, launch an app.

And they will do that on a regular basis, 24/7.

Through these actions, we will learn and fully assess

the real quality that is being delivered to the end-users

So our robots are not really users like you and me

because they are never sick, they work all the time, even during the night.

It creates a reference for the quality of service

And from this, our clients, operators or major companies,

are able to know the real quality they are able deliver to their clients.

Here we are talking about digital services,

but are you going to be able to provide "data" to operators for instance?

Operators are using our data before the launch of a new product for instance,

to make sure it matches the requirement specifications, that the video

or voice service their customers will use has the quality they expect.

And then, during a product's life circle, operations and support teams will use our data.

Today, we have support teams for some operators that work with Witbe only.

And when a client says : "we have an incident in Marseille",

the support team connects to the Robot of Marseille

and makes sure that the incident comes from their own service.

Witbe helps them to pinpoint where the problem is,

which is often what takes the longest time in fixing an issue.

From there, they fix the issue and move on.

It really is a technology to support a product during its entire cycle

not only for the creation.

Let's assume that the end-user finds a failure in the service

and that end-user is being told "no, there is no issue" Can the Robot say that "yes, there is an issue"?

Exactly. but you know, we see this a lot, and most of the time, operators are "blind".

Because in a world where networks are distributed and shared,

sometimes broadcasters don't even have control over the network they are broadcasting on.

They can't really know where the issue is coming from

That's where Witbe is here to really help them to perform this "top-down" analysis:

we will go from the end-user's experience and we'll go

down through the "layers", to see where the issue is.

Regarding operators and broadcasters, are there any sectors in which you've focused your development on

because they needed this kind of analysis even more?

Mainly big companies especially operators

because you always have an iPhone released,

not every weeks but every month, an application released every week,

and in this industry where products' evolutions go really fast,

they need technologies like Witbe.

In the bank industry, it goes a bit slower.

When they set up a payment technology it's usually durable,

but they still use Witbe's products.

And it's maybe less spread in small and medium sized enterprises,

but for them we have ASP system offers, where we offer our products in a Cloud version,

which is a bit more operational for smaller companies

that can't afford investing in in-house technology.

You told us about investing in marketing and sales.

Today do you still need to invest a lot in R&D as well?

We can see that it is evolving a lot. Networks evolve,

we have more and more data on these networks.

It's really a necessity for a company like Witbe to stay at the forefront of innovation

and to always be ahead of what is going to be released.

That's why we work closely with our major operators or broadcasters accounts.

We work ahead of public releases with their engineering department

that's why we can't really talk about what we do with our clients,

because we have access to their next gateway, their next services and so on.

That's also what makes us ahead of the competition.

There is also a true vision at Witbe.

To create a company is to develop it, commercially speaking, it is to make money

but at the very beginning, it is about the vision, what we are going to do

why we are going to do it.

And this vision, we had it in 2000, when we told ourselves

that tomorrow's digital services quality wouldn't be monitored

with probes only, because everything is going to be distributed

and we're only going to be able to assess a service quality

at the end-user's level, or at the very end of the service delivery architecture

And this vision comes from 2000.

We have now a great technological advance compared to

our competitors, but it's because we started small.

And what about your expectations and priorities today?

With the new possibilities we gave Witbe,

and the fact that Witbe has a leading technological position

I think our priority is to make Witbe better known in the world,

and to ensure that every woman and man who work

in the Quality of Service industry think "Witbe",

or at least think about consulting us to do a good job.

We will follow your activities, thank you Marie Véronique Lacaze.

Fandom Reads [CC] - Duration: 9:22.

Hi, YouTube, it's Kathy, and welcome to some very dramatic lighting.

If you've been around for a while, you know that I only shoot with natural lighting from

this window, and because it's fall on the West Coast of Vancouver Island... yeah.

I've wanted to film all day, but it's been absolutely grey and I decided just to do it.

So I've been waiting to shoot this video for a while now, and having just recently returned

from Fan Expo Vancouver, I figured this was a really good time to do it.

And, of course, you've read the title, so you probably know I'm going to talk to you

about some books that have something to do with fandom.

I'm absolutely terrible at ranking books, so these are just the books I happen to own,

and that I've read, and that I love, and have something do do with fandom.

In fact, my ultimate goal is to share these seven with you, and then for you to tell me

your favourite books about fandom down in the comments below, and then after I've had a little

bit of time to read all of them, I want to do a Part Two of this in the New Year.

So if your favourite book isn't in this video, please let me know about it down below.

In no particular order, the first book is "Radio Silence" by Alice Oseman.

In fact, these books are ordered by size from smallest to largest because I had to do it

for the thumbnail.

I knew nothing about this book when I purchased it besides the cover is gorgeous, and I went,

"I will have that, please".

But I was delightfully surprised when it arrived and I started reading it because it not only

features a bisexual main character - it me! - it also has to do with a fandom of a very

strange podcast.

Again, if you've been around for a while, I really like Welcome to Night Vale, and it

turns out that Alice Oseman also does.

So the podcast in here is not Welcome to Night Vale; it is something much smaller in production,

but it plays a super big role in the protagonist's life.

To the point where she makes fan art about it.

In fact, the community loves her fan art so much that the creator of the podcast contacts

her and asks, "hey, do you want to do some art for the actual podcast?"

I don't want to go into too many specifics, but if you love podcasts, if you love fan

art, you will like this books.

There are also some other aspects of this I really, really enjoy, and I talked about

it when I did a wrap up of this book... ages ago.

If I figure out which wrap up it is, I will link it somewhere.

The next book on my stack is "Queens of Geek" by Jen Wilde.

I originally read this for the BookTubeAThon, and I read it on the first day, and I read

it all in one day, and it made me cry a few times.

It's so good.

So the blurb on the front of this book is "Three Friends.

Two Loves Stories. One Convention" and that sums it up pretty great.

You're following two point of view characters, Charlie and Taylor, and they have come from

Australia, all the way to the states to go to basically what is a giant Comic Con type of thing.

And they're there because Charlie is promoting the film that she's just been in, whereas

Taylor and their other friend Jamie are tagging along.

While Charlie's off doing all the things she needs to do for production reasons, Taylor

is there to meet her favourite author.

So obviously, Taylor's fangirling hard about this opportunity, and Charlie is fangirling

hard about a fellow YouTuber who is quite adorable, and she's always had a crush on,

who she just happens to meet.

There are so many different types of rep in this book that it just melted my heart.

There's bisexuality rep, there's neurodiversity rep, there's anxiety rep, there's immigrant parents rep.

Off the top of my head, I also think that there's mixed race rep, but I might be misremembering,

so don't quote me on that one.

All together, it's cute, it's adorable, and I'll be doing a Buddy Read Book Review of

it very, very shortly.

Speaking of books that I'll be doing a Buddy Read Book Review of shortly,

"Geekerella" by Ashley Poston.

As you might guess from this title, this is a geeky retelling of Cinderella.

In this, you have two point of view characters, as well.

Elle, who is the Cinderella type character, obviously.

And then you also have Darien, who is going to be playing the lead role in Elle's favourite

tv show [remake].

See, she used to watch this show called Starfield with her Dad, and absolutely loved it.

But now they're doing a movie remake, and she is not really down with Darien playing

the lead role.

He's one of those dudes that seems to be more popular for his abs than anything else, and

she does not see him with the acting chops of someone who can play the Commander.

You know, little does she or the world know that he is also a huge Starfield fan.

Again, cute, adorable, like the other two books, has some queer rep.

So look forward to me talking about that book on another channel very soon.

The next book that I picked up quite recently and absolutely adore is "Eliza and Her Monsters" by Francesca Zappia.

This has an interesting take on fandom in that the main character is the creator of

the fandom in question.

Eliza creates a web comic called Monstrous Sea, and it gets millions of views.

Her family is full of athletes and they just don't get it.

She publishes this anonymously and there's just a couple of her online friends that know her identity.

In her last year of high school, she runs into a new student who happens to be a Monstrous

Sea fan, and this is the first one she's even found in the wild because she doesn't really go out much.

She's got comics to draw.

So she's stuck in this weird place of "should I tell him?" and wanting to keep her anonymity.

There's also points throughout the book where you see these sketchers of her characters

from the web comic, and it's just great.

You get enough of the intricate plot line of that story to kind of understand whenever

anyone's making reference to it, and even though this is her life's work, it becomes

a giant pressure on her.

She's graduating soon.

Is she going to be able to do this for the rest of her life?

What is next in store for her?

And that's about all I can say without going into some spoilers that I really don't want to go into.

The next book on this list should be a staple in any fandom related book list, and that

is "Fangirl" by Rainbow Rowell.

I think I was a little late to this game.

I only picked this book up last year and read it pretty much in a day while I was on a

Books and Beer tour with my Mom.

It's been a little while since I read this, so I think I'm going to get all these details

correct, but let's see.

Cath, our protagonist, is a fanfiction writer, and she writes fanfiction for basically the

Harry Potter of this world.

It's not Harry Potter, but it's a magic-based book series where the last book is going to come out soon.

And she's an incredibly popular fanfiction writer.

She's got thousands of words on this subject.

But she wants to have her fanfiction done by the time the final book comes out.

That being said, she's a twin, and her and her twin are going off to university at this point.

And they've always been so close, but now they're living in two separate dorm rooms.

So Cath has some separation anxiety there.

This is also the point in her life where Levi comes in, a very cute romantic interest.

This book deals a lot with the validity of fanfiction writing and even though you are

borrowing other characters, you are creating a new piece of art.

And then, of course, if you love this, you can always go on to reading "Carry On" by

Rainbow Rowell, which is basically her [Cath's] fanfiction, and it's freakin' adorable.

And I read it over a weekend when I was at a convention in Seattle.

So yes.

The penultimate book in this stack might surprise some of you until you think about it a little

harder, and that's "The Fault in Our Stars" by John Green.

Now, I know that when we think about this book, we think about this protagonist who

has cancer, and a love story between two people who have had cancer,

and, of course, the movie that came out.

But at the heart it, this is about fandom.

I mean, to be fair, things can be about several different things.

One of them for this book definitely is fandom.

Our protagonist, Hazel Grace, is forced into going to this group therapy type thing where

she meets a cute boy.

He is there for his friend Isaac who is soon going to be completely blind because of his

type of cancer, but Gus himself, the cute boy, is in remission.

Impulsively, Hazel takes his invitation to come back to his place to watch a movie.

They end up starting to talk about books and she ends up telling him about the book that

she is completely obsessed with.

If that fandom moment hadn't happened, none of the rest of the book would have.

It was because of that moment of opening herself up and letting another human know about her

intense fandom for this book that he read it, and literally everything else that happened

in the book happened.

It makes complete sense to me that this particular John Green book would be on this list.

And the final fandom book that I want to talk about that I pulled off my shelves today is

"You're Never Weird on the Internet (Almost)" by Felicia Day.

Obviously, unlike the other, this is a nonfiction book.

And it is a memoir.

That being said, Felicia Day has been called Queen of the Geeks so many times.

Throughout her books, she talks about so many different types of fandom, so many fandoms

she's been interested in, and different times throughout her life where fandom has made an impact on her.

As a side note, while I was waiting for this book to come out, I was at VidCon for the

very first time, and I was wearing my Codex cosplay, and Hank Green thanked me for wearing

cosplay at his convention and asked if he could take a picture of me to send to Felicia

via text message, which of course I said yes to.

So if you are interested in the intersection of fandom and the internet, this is definitely

a book that you should check out, if you haven't already.

And while I'm here, I might as well also make a music recommendation for you, because I'm

wearing their t-shirt right now, and it makes me very happy.

I don't have a viewfinder on this potato of a camera, so I have no idea how much of this

tshirt you can see, but it says "There are no Fake Geeks, only Real Jerks" and this is

a tshirt from The Doubleclicks.

I will link their YouTube channel down below.

They're a sister duo from Portland, and they make deliciously nerdy content.

A lot of it about fandoms.

And there you have it.

Like I said near the beginning of the video, I would really like it if you would let me

know your favourite fandom based books down in the comments below.

If I get enough of a list of them, I will search them out, I will read them, and I will

make a second video like this in the future.

If you've read any of these, and you have feels about them, let me know about it down

in the comments below.

On the way down to the comments, if you hit that Subscribe button, that would be very nice of you.

You can like and share this as you see fit, and I will see you next time. Bye!

Waylon with Sakyong Mipham about how to Save our World through the Art of Conversation. - Duration: 51:05.

It's my great honor and far more than honor it's my great pleasure to

introduce someone who obviously needs no introduction you are here to see him and

hear him listen to him, Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. The Sakyong is my personal

teacher I can make no pretense that running this interview he is going to do

whatever he wants and I will be devotedly grateful and excited about that.

So this would not be journalism nobody seen tonight this will be obsequious worship.

I just finished reading the book in my hot tub at home

in the snowfall and I can say that I am ready to listen.

so without any further ado:

An author, a poet, an athlete, a father and a teacher, my teacher,

Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche.

Sakyong, thank you.

It's good to see you.

Yeah. is our sound okay for everybody?

So there's a lot of things you teach about as you travel the world,

why did you decide to write an entire book on conversation, on this particular topic?

Well good evening everyone this is my conversation: How are you? (Laughing)

I think it happened very organically you know I feel like myself as a medidator

the importance of meditation obviously I feel right connected to but

it can become very much just ourselves. And even though we need to sort of develop our own mind and heart.

We actually did a video on this you and I in my living room how the meditation

or spirituality generally, and your father wrote a whole book about this, can become selfish.

Yeah you know I think it was a very organic I feel like

meditation obviously it's great and I feel like the way the world is that there's also a

sense then we can tend to try to escape sort of isolate ourselves.

I feel like that you know we're coming to a really important moment or time in our history

as a human development and one of the most important aspects I feel like

is not just sort of our own sense of mental well being

but its interpersonal in how we actually begin to have a relationship with somebody else.

I feel like that very simple conversation, I didn't want to make it too deep in a sense. But I feel like it is deep

just a human interaction and I feel it myself, just as you have, it is enriching and powerful

and often conversation gets very sort of ignored. Just superficial talk.

But I feel like for many of us moments, brief moments and the deep moments we've had effect us deeply.

and it's a form of human empowerment.

And so it's not so much about the right decorum, even though that's a good idea.

It's more about just actually acknowledging each other.

So I have about 5 questions already. one of them is aboutright to quorum

you talk a fair amount about that in this beautiful little book and one

question I have is that being polite you talked a lot about good decorum and not

swearing or easy jargon in talk

it's not kidding they forgot to erase my name in the liner notes read this one

twice but often conversation often being polite can be faked so how do we be

genuine and have difficult conversations sometimes that aren't smooth or worn but

that can be important to have like an honest conversation without violating

the court well I think the court it is hard actually

so sometimes you know it's a situation you can express yourself other times you

feel like oh that's my family on you so it's just being sort of aware and

realizing that it's just I think they're really one of the most important things

about conversation is this we say hello you actually acknowledge and then and so

viewing noticeable way is it's just some of that connectivity so a lot of times

we have something to say absolutely so it's really the notion of how we so even

locally politics can be pretty no one's trying to listen or to say hello they're

trying to be right it's a very kind of aggressive thing and we're also

obviously all seen that nationally whether you're a Bernie fan and you

can't stand the Hillary people or the everyone can't stand the Trump people or

the Trump people can't say everyone else no one really is invested in listening

so how do you bring what you were talking about cut openness or bravery or

warmth into a world that is almost having two wars is because everyone's

tweeting at each other yeah I mean it's it comes down to simple exchanges

conversation I think it also comes down to my experience we're just doing

in different situations when they're really intense conflicts like in Chicago

like in Chicago that was just Ukraine just that intensity I love it it's just

people have not being acknowledged it's either way whether we agree or don't

agree it's just there some say somebody was not seeing or respected and then

there's system I think the conversation will be said a very human level

obviously the politics and dynamics we have our best people thinking about some

speed and so I think this is like what can we do when we feel you know what can

we do it as as a person who is reading the news or see the news as you mean you

know we want to connect in Turkey so that is something and I feel like within

that you know there's a principle of life and how do you do it I think it's

maybe somewhat simplistic but I think it can you have a popular quote I don't

know how much you google yourself

there's a promo that's been going on for your assistance in this by yourself

supposedly it's the internet so Lincoln could have said it for Gandhi but it

says karma is so basic like gravity you almost don't notice it's there and I

feel that way about conversation so we take it for granted and yet it can

actually create love and you talked about that in the book what do you mean

by a conversation can create love mm-hmm when I'm looking at this book of a

Masons function and it feel like they could have just noticed and I just

actually began composition so this is something very simple you know obviously

within a meditation that water into like another analysis but I feel like at the

same time it's like there's something that needs to be the basis environmental

so it's not one of the main things I say it's not necessarily what the

conversation is on but just appreciating human connected so I think that was sort

of like it is like areas like water and we get up most of us we all have to have

some exchange that can and I know a lot of times when the one he gets easier of

official in the hand a lot of times we remember one conversations were going to

bed with as good of that whenever it gets to the finish even though I said we

do a lot of help in speech they were so divisive but at the same time what are

the elements that we can actually begin to shift them and what can we do well

that's my question for you mangos if you have a I mean we've all had that

experience you have a difficult talk you yell at someone or someone attacks you

for something really very defensive and then you think about it for two days and

you don't even especially if you're not meditating or if you're a busy you don't

even know you're thinking about it but it comes up any gaps like a song that's

stuck in your head how do you turn that around

I think it's feeling feeling the heart of thing what you didn't do

and I fill that with a lot of you know communication I try to emphasize the

notion of just human feeling and a lot of times it is not the words to say but

it's kind of the energy you put out and so what is it obviously sometimes we are

we are strong ourselves so we can do things at the same time you know we all

feel and it's it's something we're all going to have difficult conversations in

life I think you just multiply that globally and then you get this intense

separation so I think your father said something like it's not enough to do

good stuff and lose to be a martyr you have to we have to do good stuff for

the world and actually when I read that in some book and it really stuck with me

how do we actually given that twitter and facebook comments and all these

things are set up to you know before you know it people are calling each other

racist or sexist or a snowflake or whatever it is instead of saying I

understand you feel this way about the NFL players or gun control or whatever

is on people's minds but what about these things

you know they're not set up for conversation they're set up for

grandstanding and so boughten how do we have this kind of love for the

conversation when well one of the things I've experienced is that we have just

had this general sense that somebody is in charge so as I meet people I think

you're in charge

we do you know that's one of the things

so healing strength it comes across in fact we begin to shift so when it's when

it's divisive and difficult a lot of people a lot of good people a lot of

elephant readers all here often say I'm just going to turn off everything for a

month I'm going to get rid of my I'm gonna

close my Facebook account and just get away from everything

read the news do you recommend that

something often does business

you know so you have to learn you know

and so I think as opposed to you know so that's the answer I was expecting and

that's the delightful thing about conversation is it's an open thing I'm

learning and I'm not hearing what I expected to hear but on what I expected

here is that it's hopeful to continue to engage but to find out like it's not

helpful to run away I guess well I can't want other things

when your questions was about I felt like whistling peace conference Vienna

we're talking about the ocean of peace part of it is that people think that

pieces a weak situation and the reality is as we know like if you're on a path

of enlightenment getting to Nirvana getting to the wait a minute hard work

which takes strength peace of self maintaining peace in a relationship they

wanted you need to be strong in the world you know your readers strength

strength testing makes the sense of how we can change otherwise naturally yeah

that's profound we talked about that in the book that peace is not a weak kind

of just a neutral thing it's an active it takes real in a comida like floor can

be fun well I think there was mmm a negative peace which is nothing Bad's

happening so therefore this piece and then it's a positive piece with strong

piece which is there's actually things that are actually inspirational they're

leaving on life and I think when things were bad they get a piece is good in the

sense we're just happening at the same time if we want if we want to actually

take culture move forward you need that strong piece we need a sense of

telekinetics intelligence it takes understandings so these elements I think

which were exploring here so maybe a few specific questions from things that

really stuck out for me one of my favorite moments was you're talking

about when I think when you first got married

we're sitting down with your wife and she would bring tea or be tea and you'd

have these endless conversations and you keep waiting for her to get to the point

yeah usually the funny one neither funny or profound what am i doing a lot of

people wondering the same thing so but you discovered something delightful in

those endless conversations with a no point yeah I mean that was one of these

fishes to the book was that not all conversation to the point physically and

I feel like I realize no she just want me to connect it like many people do and

as opposed to this has to lead somewhere I to learn something and so it's just

basic like just being in the space and appreciate and then you can talk about

anything government but if you don't have that then it has to go your way

what we have to get to the point and I think which is different because

sometimes we do need to pass innovation there needs to be time as soon as other

times where it's just even enjoyment and you realize actually in a relationship

you don't have those moments that's when you know breaks down there's something

just not and so part of like the coffee culture the tea culture sort of that

it's bad you know experience you know then you feel like I'm missing out Lucy

and that's that's because nobody's right it's transactional exactly yes it

becomes so and you said I think in that section talking about your wife and

those team conversation is one of the things the book of conversation

a little joke there I wrote a book about commitment and relationship so when

you're talking about your wife you mentioned this phrase every day in

genesee which is beautiful that we can have that obviously with her or maybe

not obviously it can be challenging with our spouses you talk about that later in

the book that you have to reinvest all the time in conversation mean being

interested in what the what's going on with your loved one for everyone who is

maybe in long-term relationships out there I think that could be a helpful

section what can help maintain the health and delight and inquisitiveness

in a long-term relationship like more than eight months maybe

there's a sense of experiencing life together which is kind of open up as

opposed to just yeah you talked about it specifically like with long-term

relationships there can be the certain boredom or dullness or heavy silence

sometimes so if you're feeling that what do you recommend doing before me since

before I went when humidity will stay it's boring and I said the only boring

thing is you sitting there so the important forces use

meditation isn't boring so you're just about to Vera said the relationship of

staying what who's born exactly and so I feel like there's a lot of things when

you project this is not interesting somebody else I've heard something like

that before I haven't listened very well but thank

you so you've also talked in a section about

fostering conversation with children could you say something about that well

I can so yeah thank you I think it's you know really this conversations different

depending like the conversation children you know it's feelings really important

because it's not just what you're saying is how you be in space this real sense

of being aware oh you are so there's a lot of conversations happening more

through body language and I think in that way it's slowed down you understand

and realize that you know yes you know that's it's a human being and you are in

sort of de facto teaching them how to communicate

we're helping bring that out in person and that is something that they learn a

skill that they learn throughout the whole life in so depending on how we

were educated or we deal with those issues in life so

it's a very important and receptive but certainly relating relating to them

equal footing is very important teachers who they are and really modeling

behavior like if you interrupt or angry they're going to learn something from

that or if you're on your phone or TV all the time they're gonna learn

something so on that note when you talk about this in the book part of the

reason I felt very timely I was walking over here from the triage on the way to

the bookstore and every single person with maybe one or two exceptions out of

the 20 or so people I passed on the street was on their phone or listening

to headphones and kind of just sitting around the world the kind of delight and

relaxation you talk about that conversation you talk about conversation

in a lot of different ways that it can be just connecting even nodding someone

across the room just connecting almost so with a lot of that going away a lot

of people are even in society in public are siloing themselves off how what do

we do to combat that I think obviously we're more connected Internet as ever

and at the same time this does not mean many people is saying you know they are

anyways more disconnected we have people every day

I'm sure others having one more conversation and connecting and so

there's a bit of like looking at the service this is and this is really not

about technology and doing it but this is also saying what human connectivity

has to keep their technical activities it's a tool for us like human

interaction it's almost like that that's what's so exciting for me reading this

is I feel like I realized that everyday interactions that everyday jealousy you

talked about can actually save our world on some level that our two weeks can

start a war or they can offer some listening or gentleness or or maybe we

get off our phones when we're walking a little more and run into people and talk

with people we haven't necessarily paying attention to and I think it's

making a world more liveable right and just like it's kindness it's just being

in a society and just like it's not so much it has to be extra

just the ability of the situation we all didn't see space I think what are they a

part of that you know part of the way in looking at this is also that we are in

training where's me pathetic tradition tradition is part of the Dark Age is

just sort of human disconnect if 'ti and black have just been one and so I feel

like this is just trying to say that once you shouldn't be ignored because

that's affecting our society and so one thing in the book most people probably

haven't seen it yet I think the boulder bookstore have two special orders just

have the books available tonight so most people haven't how to get is at the end

of every chapter there's a well what is at the end of every chapter and they

could offer one of them surprise thing know it's basically chapter Ian's their

standalone chapters and basically that it is at each the concluding new chapter

there's sort of a contemplation on a floor slogan that you know how you know

what how do you know conversation it's just a

point where you can begin to use it in daily life so I think I wanted to make

sure the book was usable and have a full and again it's really more conference

like oh right but I think also this little reminder I also like it so that

you know what happened and also like thing just there's elements in the book

where you can begin to use it as a tool

this yeah one thing I loved is there's a lot of talk about listening in here and

you said one thing which is particularly maybe for outgoing people are extroverts

at least that's how I remember it it's harder it takes more was it bravery

more confidence to listen than to talk

somebody's really listening this is

other times you know say if you want to be heard we gotta listen you know so if

there's an exchange going on which is different than just pushing the agenda

yeah you know I think listening there's a lot of sort of different listening

techniques supposed to feeling listening

control there's the control the conversation and basically you can say

this not true and you know when you talk to you know diplomats and things like

this someone will say oh they were a really good listener is supposed to have

just a good talker so it's like they're able to understand them that's part of

it because we're talking talking about talking if there's talking it's an SP

listening and so we are both participating and we all need to be

heard so it's part of the they're gonna feel

like this is more common sense than a certain spiritual basically hey that's a

lot of what Shambhala the buddhadharma are is common sense right it's not as

with some theoretical I think a lot of the trying to you know what are the

generation what we have to live and manifest and so maybe we could end and

then take some questions with just a simple takeaway question for all of us

well it's not simple hopefully it's simple for you which is how do we when

we leave tonight and we go home how do we create a little peace and peace in

the sense that you use it strong and kind of delightful you talk about

celebration and fun and it's not just you know a static piece how do we create

a little peace in our interactions this week whether online or impersonal

anybody theme and you realize you know life is really precious I think when you

just connected that the simple truth and a lot of things open up and I think when

we just get disconnected feeling sensitive preciousness of existence so

when we have difficulty then you know small conversations are the important

when things are going well it's like oh there's no big deal

so it's almost a week rounding our self like what are the basics of life and it

says and then peace from that point of view is going to be natural it's gonna

be the things you want to be able to contribute we're gonna have more

organically as opposed to it some sort of technique and so everyone is you know

no matter what mood you and it's like appreciate there's something and to me

that is conversation communicating with elements mitigating the nature of the

world and so I think when we get no no you know which is a feeling in the sense

brain or overwhelmed obviously so yeah I thought about so as I was reading this

my idea of what conversation was where they expanded because you talked about

how conversation like I always talk going to farmers market free therapy

like that can be depressed or burned out or whatever and I go there and there's

all these little interactions and people say hi sunshine and kids and dogs

I'm not dogs do you want abandon but

but something about just that walking through all this conversation is really

uplifting I guess a a final question I would ask is if some people find that

really draining like in Traverse how do in Traverse relate to the lost art of

conversation well I think you know this is you know the part of me that's terms

are like appreciating just as the quiet and you know like wanting to have your

space and so forth and then there's you know this time for that a lot of times

silence and just your being together but that say anything can be good

conversation if you're okay they're not just feeling the situation yeah they

call that the definition of love I've seen that quote it's very comfortable

being quiet to know that yeah and I think there's some wisdoms to us being

there at the same time part of the suppose when we get to internal tears

that we begin to lose perspective there there's something else there that they

have a feelings too says it's like an interest in natural kindness with

connectivity with compassionate once you begin to really as the other person has

feelings too then there's gonna be in natural just what's going on and asking

this question so doesn't need to be a hat you know technique and then that's

what I think it does become disconnected if you go

so that's and we can and we need to do that with people we disagree with not

just not just our friends and loved ones we need to instead of what I see on the

internet all the time it's just it one second any mark on each other racist or

sexist or whatever you know can we actually offer listening to

people we on some level regardless racist or sexist cetera we have to we

have to begin to live it I think it's part of this notion of how does that

change me him to take effect and if this see you related other people my way this

was decent and sinister strong and every come to the example as opposed to always

objectifying everything yeah you have to change you from going to change my

situation so I think you know we're all in a situation where when is the moment

we decide I'll do something that's often people will be heroes or some people

will respect us think I mean I trust we made a choice to forget for to see we

may not always do that every single day but we can have a few moments where that

begins to variations there was this fellow this on Netflix I think Darrell

Davis know I'm talking about he is a black man an african-american and he

goes around talking with KKK members and about racists and it's a documentary

about these conversations and he says I have no goal I'm not trying to change

their mind but he's converted hundreds of races to Lavina and who

you know he's doing way to them seeing everyone is human so I'd love to see you

to have a conversation so at this point I'd like to invite anyone for if you

have a question we don't have a whole lot of time but I think there's mic with

Stephanie and I have a mic so if you have a question just raise your hand and

all so with the current political climate especially older and someone

running for City Council I'm just curious for how do you speak

your truth how do you continue to fight something that you feel is so unjust and

you know yourself you so how do you speak that truth you hold yourself in a

whole bit what you know is right and what nature and mother earth and when

you see the big money and everyone coming in I mean geeks to you of

anything it's really difficult I feel like we're

both challenged you know I think especially intellectually I think it's a

very challenging time for everyone when I'm gonna wanna talk to you

there are spiritual leaders and the people religions and people who are

doing social transformation changes and you know it is very intensive and I feel

like part of you know what I would like to just express is that don't lose touch

with your own humanity it's like I think that's the heart of it don't lose

yourself into processes and how can you maintain your own

and I think changing your change is going to take you moving things a

certain way instead of tape it's a two-way street it's also going to take

time to insertion its identity perseverance and that perseverance has

to be here to live with it and how do you live with yourself

I maintain so there has to be I think that's sometimes where we get exhausted

or we get just well that's a big you know the burnout effectors really big in

this kind of activity so I just think we have to have some way

of nourishing ourselves and then also see things for your mind well you do

feel inspired about something begins you see oh I guess it's not all bad but like

here's something here's something and then put things in perspective in that

way and you know it's and then it depends on how big you want to be you

know it can you've actually put yourself in somebody else's position what are

they thinking that's that's a big stretch can you at least not know what

is the level in content and often when we try to apply principles to the most

difficult situation you know it's almost like physically we're lifting something

that I'm not sure we can physically lift so there's a mental hospital so part of

it is strengthening our kind of ethical and personal fiber so we're able to you

know it's bravery it's these elements and you know

as I sit here in the older bookstore you know this place is founded on my father

he left today he's lost everything he came to this small little town the

country

he didn't give in to you can you talk to these principles and that's like who

would have known was sitting here order no no training book on this including

you and the world we're all like caring which is important we got a character

and we can't lose that but we need more than just carrying Amina so you know

strength and we don't want to underestimate what humanity is because

we do have a lot of different spiritual traditions and meditative techniques

from I'm in attendance but we can relate to that and that's what I'm exploring in

this book there's a question online I could ask how do we deal with busyness

in everyday life we have one of our most popular articles on elephants total

busyness is laziness the notion that we is almost like our default go-to to just

be busy all the time because we want to do something meaningful so I think it's

a matter of being satisfied so when we're satisfied we naturally become less

busy and we just so I don't think it's in busyness and speed are connected and

so speed in time is connected so and as you know as you look at this with the

science of the whole situation is like to the certain degree time is really

mentally created we begin to compress time we're living in a society that

served the times were living and so there's a moment where we have to

realize that we're creating our own stress from that point of view and how

can we begin to redefine you know and you know mmm there may be times where we

just we're trying to survive so we have many jobs we have to be

goodbye and there's other times where they're just look for something that we

make us feel full fill the space yeah and I think that it's it's speed can be

a form of just avoiding something to just get to the next thing avoiding that

feeling then you talk about like avoiding and feeling the sadness or the

exactly yeah there's something and so I think it's a lot of it is just you know

one of these don't have to be necessarily negative like why am i it's

important ask these questions and why my genius and you realize when you meet

lots of people people lived in all kinds of ways and after a while we think you

can only live in one way actually some true that many different ways and it's

always amazing to see how that person actually accomplished wanted they're not

very speedy and this person you know you know they do accomplish on their feet so

it's like looking at how we can be planet is around Sinatra listened that's

great it reminds me of I just have a boss Jeff Walter

Shambhala National Center and one night I had me like designing some website or

something and I did I worked for like ten hours I was super proud I worked

until like 4:00 a.m. went to work it nine or ten or whatever I saw him and I

kind of brag about how hard I was working and he he didn't seem very

impressed and say so what did you accomplish sure

well thank you so much is there a pressing question one final

question anyone want to come for them how do you propose having the tech

conversations with people who don't have them I think part of it is you know the

deal with with the timing of the whole situation and you're trying to resolve

something my technique is essentially to not have any hope and then take it from

there and so far it's worked because it's pretty hopeless

and out of that you realize that you've given up not in a bad way there's

something released and then you can actually begin to see what's you know

it's hard because you want a person to change so much but they don't you want a

situation to change where they don't and that old can weigh on you you were

living in the world is if you take it over on every single person is alive and

so there's a certain and then also it's important to have your small successes

to have your little things that are if you just take on the big things all the

time and that becomes it could be wrong so it's balancing harmony

so by no hoko means dropping your agenda a little bit what if I look at you do I

see the finish line behind you or not are we walking together so most of time

we don't see you just see which we do that's your plan

getting transactional in a way you know trying to get your father to open up or

we have some goal even if it's well intentioned tough is a relative word for

some people it's less time and depending it's a very relative every day like

there are certain things that are rate of certain countries with a living

already tough situations other countries have less difficulty and those are the

people that's what they work it's another country we so tough situation

situation you know they're still in service memory so it's a very it's a

moving situation yeah I feel like when we are in a very challenging situations

like right now it's a very important to realize that the fabric of reality is

which means we just didn't notice it you know the instability of life has always

been there on guarantee or what it's always been

it's just now is just more visible and so we're just seeing you know real we're

having these it's that's that can be that can be moment where we wake up and

we were so the correction now there is

so thank you thank you so much it's an honor

How to Make: Porcini Turkey Meatballs with Polenta | Man of the Kitchen | CBC Life - Duration: 8:10.

You know when I come home from work the last thing I want to do is anything.

But, I'm a professional chef and my wife expects healthy fresh meals so tonight

I'm going to make a porcini turkey meatball with roasted mushrooms and a

cheesy polenta in under 20 minutes.

Our meatball dinner begins with our mushroom prep so I've picked three of my

favorite mushrooms of course we've got Portobello I always love to use shiitake

mushrooms they've got great flavour, and then king oyster mushrooms look out for

these in the store but if you can't find any even a cremini mushroom will do.

So I'd like to take the king oysters to begin and cut them kind of lengthwise to

really accentuate their elegant shape

Then the shiitake, I like to take off the

stem save that for a stalk if you need and just give it a rough chop and then

of course the portobello a thinner chop because I want everything to cook at the

same time.

Just onto a sheet tray. A little bit of olive oil and salt pepper

and the best part of these mushrooms is that it's the same temp and time as my

meatballs so that dinner will be done at the same time and on time under 20 minutes.

A mushroom roasted at the right

temperature seasoned with salt and pepper a cremini mushroom will be amazing

Cook it at a high temperature season it with enough salt pepper a

little bit of cheese at the end even a cremini even an affordable cremini is incredible

Fresh pepper simple as that it's ready

to hit an oven but first we need to form our meatballs and for those I'm using

Butterball Easy Fresh Extra Lean Turkey a super versatile ingredient that I use

for meatballs healthy meat loaves bolognaise awesome, awesome ingredient so

we start with herbs so I'm gonna get some flat-leaf parsley that I've picked

here and my favourite way to prep an herb like parsley is to put my knife through

the herb as few times as possible I don't want to bruise the herb I want to

slice it evenly I give it one slice this way this really is a chiffonade out of parsley

And then turn the parsley this way again rolling back and forth with your fingers

Then fresh thyme. Thyme and mushrooms love each other you know mushrooms can

stand up to hearty herbs like thyme or rosemary and we just take the thyme off

the sprigs with our fingers just like that you don't need too, too much we'll add

it to our herbs just like this and I'm gonna add it straight into our ground

turkey of course some finely chopped garlic every great meatball has garlic

just right in, just like that.

Seasoning a little bit of salt and pepper again

Be generous

Cracked pepper

That's the beginning of a really great turkey

meatball but then the star the porcini so the porcini I've ground but I don't

want too large chunks of the dry porcini

I fell in love with this porcini powder

when developing this recipe I've added it now in my standard spice rack

So if

you find a mushroom that you love buy the dry mushroom blend it up in a spice

grinder or a coffee grinder or even a food processor but make sure it's really

fine and you can add it to your spice rack

Next thing you know you got porcini

meatballs you've got a porcini risotto you've got a porcini in your scrambled

egg it's like amazing

So that goes right in and I don't have to rehydrate those

dry mushrooms in any liquid because like any meatball I'm putting some milk

in there so the milk together with the porcini as the meatballs cook will kind

of hydrate everything in the meatball so a little bit of 2% milk and then some

bread crumbs to bring it together

No need for an egg here I don't want it

to be like a meat loaf per se this will bind it perfectly fine. Now for meatball

the best thing you can use your hands and get in from the side to the bottom

we're mixing to incorporate letting the breadcrumbs soak up the milk letting the

porcini evenly distribute.

Yeah, so with this turkey meatball because I wanted

the flavours to play off the mushroom we've got fresh parsley and thyme and

then the porcini powder but some people aren't mushroom lovers so really

a meatball is a blank canvas and a versatile thing where you can go Italian

with fennel seed and garlic you could go Greek with oregano you know you can go

Indian with a really high-quality curry mix so it really is a versatile thing

And that's it that's what I'm looking for my clean hand I'm gonna get this

plate here and I want to show you size is very important here because I want

dinner done in just 20 minutes so I'm gonna keep relatively small meatballs

not overly packing it. I'm gonna wash my hands really quick and then show you how

we're gonna sear these up and finish them in the oven.

I mean now now that

we're parents two things one, time is of the essence so

when we weren't parents we can make a long meal open a bottle of wine really

enjoy the process now it's about eating fresh and healthy but really in a short

amount of time and also making meals that you can eat with one hand ki is a

parent so this meatball dish you can you could have the baby in one hand and have

your fork here get him the meatball getting some polenta and also feeding

yourself one hand eating is key

I'm searing off the last of my turkey

meatballs now look at this this is the kind of sear you want this is where we

get that caramelization that great flavour I'm gonna add it to a tray with

my other porcini turkey meatballs here and the best part of this recipe is

everything will cook together so 10 minutes in a 425-degree oven these

meatballs will finish cooking the mushrooms will cook in the same oven at

the same time and temp and then we'll finish my instant polenta and dinner

will be served

This is the ultimate date meal because it's smooth and silky with

the polenta it's earthy with the mushrooms it's quick you know you don't

want to be over working in the kitchen either so it gets finished with the

cheese and the olive oil it's a beautiful-looking dish too. Great date meal

After just 10 minutes look at the mushrooms and the meatballs the

mushrooms have kind of caramelized and shrunk down really intensified in flavor

and the meatballs are absolutely cooked through dinner's almost ready so we just

have to finish my instant polenta which only takes five minutes be sure to buy

the instant polenta so you stream in the polenta into boiling water season with

salt and pepper get out all the lumps then at the end

you just get a little butter in there and of course some Parmesan cheese for

extra flavour

Really, really creamy cheesy I always have this in my pantry because

it's such a luxurious kind of foundation for a dish like this

And no time at all

Stir in the cheese and the butter

And then you can put a little bed of this

polenta on a plate

It's gonna hold the mushrooms and the meatballs

Look at that

Awesome I'm gonna come over here, load up on these amazing roasted

mushrooms

How good do those look

A couple meatballs

It's a great dinner party dish

I mean you just cook them all together on a big sheet tray like that

And then

to finish them off in a really luxurious way, some more Parmesan cheese look at this

I reserved some of that parsley that I chopped just as a little garnish

And then a drizzle of great quality extra virgin olive oil for shine look at that

Behold my weeknight dinner masterpiece you know what this is full on flavour

short on time it's a luxurious, rich dish that only took 20 minutes but I'm gonna

tell my wife that took me four hours

What is Trichology? | StephanieLAnderson.com - Duration: 5:39.

Trichology is the science and the study of hair and scalp maladies or disorders.

it is a specialized field that requires practitioners to have a

thorough understanding

of hair and

scalp physiology in addition to

knowledge of the body systems and

lifestyle factors that may affect hair and scalp as well.

It was just a natural progression for me after being in the hair industry for more than two decades.

You know, I am living my dream!

with Styling hair and

offering hair replacement

to be given the opportunity to

ultimately

practice trichology

I started training in 2013 and fast forward to now in

Addition to my standard practice. I offer follow-up services for

physician assisted services and also my location in San Antonio, Texas

is a model center that hosts fellow Trichologists nationwide and the hands-on

technical portion of their certification training so you know in this industry, it's

imperative

in seeking continued education and training, and it's also important to look for

credentialled

practitioners when seeking a trichologist

Now the initial appointment with me is an extensive one, it's a consultation.

I gather complete client intake medical history

Conduct a digital scope of the hair and the scalp, we check the density of the hair,

gather urine and saliva for a pH analysis,

we evaluate the diet and the lifestyle, we discuss body system deficiencies or even excesses and

We eventually I recommend a program and schedule services in varying intervals

with follow-up visits until

Optimum until we get the desired results

Now during this initial

Visit many times we can actually identify current diagnosis that is symptomatic of thinning hair or hair loss

We like to make sure we work if at all possible with their primary care physician in those cases

When it comes to the scalp let me see when it comes to the scalp, I encounter disorders like simple dandruff

Which you know is common scaling or flaking and itching of the scalp, but you know

dandruff can range it can range from mild to

Excessive so we see acne,

seborrheic dermatitis which is actually redness,

Scaling and itchy and a lot of times you can actually diagnose that by sight

We see psoriasis, which is characterized by silvery white scaling or even neuro...

neurodermatitis

Those are just a few things now each one of these has specific characterizations and therapeutic treatment

So when it comes to the hair the most common type of hair loss or alopecia

That I encounter is androgenetic alopecia

Simply means excessive hair loss and Androgenetic or female and male pattern baldness is actually caused when testosterone

Which is a male hormone and an enzyme called 5-alpha reductase

produces DHT or dihydrotestosterone

So in laymen terms it begins to suffocate the hair follicles, which subsequently can lead to permanent loss

Now many women come into my treatment center with diffuse hair thinning

throughout their hair or

varying types of alopecia

So alopecia areata, which is characterized by smooth patches,

cicatricial

Which is a scarring type of

hair loss

We see trichotillomania

Which is actually a compulsive disorder

Which the client pulls their hair out we see a lot of traction alopecia which is caused

From trauma or styles that result in too much stress or pulling of the hair.
