Robert Mugabe 'under house arrest' amid suspected coup - Duration: 1:42.Now for a look at stories making headlines across the world….
Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe is under house arrest as the country's military seizes
power…

dead inside their home….

Aram…
Zimbabwe's political struggle seems to be deepening… what's the latest?
Well Semin…
Robert Mugabe remains in detention at his home after the military declared on national
television that it had temporarily taken control of the country.
He told South African President Jacob Zuma that he was unable to leave his home, but
was safe.
In the televised address, an army spokesman denied that a coup was underway, saying it
was targeting what it called "criminals" around the world's oldest leader.
The spokesman blamed Mugabe's aides for causing "social and economic suffering."
But, the view from the ground appears to be that of a de-facto coup as armored vehicles
are blocking roads to the main government offices, parliament and the courts in the
capital Harare.
The atmosphere in the city, however, remains calm with citizens casually going about their
daily lives.
The apparent goal of the apparent military coup seems to be preventing Mugabe's wife
Grace, whose whereabouts is unknown, from succeeding him.
The military is reportedly seeking to replace Mugabe with his vice president, Emmerson Mnangagwa,
who he sacked two weeks ago.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, the African Union and Western countries have called
for calm.

Right After Basketball Players Publicly Thank Trump For Saving Them, Look What Happened To All 3. - Duration: 4:53.Right After Basketball Players Publicly Thank Trump For Saving Them, Look What Happened
To All 3.
President Donald Trump didn't leave Asia until he fulfilled his most important mission
while there, which was to prove to the American people that all lives matter, including the
three UCLA basketball players being held on "house arrest" in their hotel rooms.
Despite these talented college players being accused of shoplifting leasing to China's
imposed punishment of them, Trump didn't want to leave them behind since they faced
a devastating prison sentence for the alleged crime, of a whopping ten years behind bars
in a foreign country.
Negotiating their release and getting them on a plane back to the U.S. within an hour
or so, was far more than Barack Obama ever did or would do.
The players recognized this incredible gesture by our busy president and that he didn't
leave Asia until they were free.
As such, they went live today shortly after landing their feet in our free country to
thank Trump for what he did for them.
Their gratitude wasn't well received by all, as was quickly realized right after making
their public statement to the president.
It's no secret that not everyone in the sports industry likes our president.
In fact, there is a disproportionate amount of players and sports authorities who detest
Trump and aren't afraid to show it.
So when rising stars in basketball who are soon to be drafted to the NBA rightfully and
respectfully come out with praise for the incredible thing Trump did for them, the industry
couldn't stand the attention their nemesis was getting from one of their own and made
it known.
The New York Post reports:
President Trump got his wish Wednesday afternoon when the three UCLA basketball players busted
in China for shoplifting thanked him for his help in getting them home.
The three, Jalen Hill and Cody Riley and LiAngelo Ball — younger brother of Los Angeles Lakers
rookie Lonzo Ball — also apologized to their families and their school, while thanking
the Chinese cops for treating them well.
"I would like to thank President Trump and the United States government for the help
they provided.
I am grateful to be back home and I will never make a mistake like this again.
I am extremely sorry for those that I let down," said Ball, reading from a script
in a monotone.
A contrite Riley and Hill expressed similar sentiments.
It's unclear if some or all of these three actually shoplifted as they have been accused
of, but chances are they did.
That still doesn't mean that a 10-year punishment fits the crime, which Trump was reasonable
in recognizing when he rightfully decided to save them from facing foreign detainment.
However, now these three just got an unexpected form of punishment simply for having the aptitude
to thank the person who saved them.
It should be pretty big news that they were rescued in this situation, especially after
Barack Obama abandoned American college student Otto Warmbier in North Korea.
Like these basketball players, Warmbier made a pretty bad, but stupid decision to take
something that was not his, which led to incarceration, torture, and eventually his death.
Obama didn't do anything to try to rescue him, but Trump did for these three who faced
a far less harsh fate than Warmbier.
This wasn't apparently significant enough of a move for players with a promising future,
according to anti-Trump ESPN's coverage of the rescue.
The sports news network pushed the breaking news story at the bottom of their page, far
beneath innocuous news that had no priority over this incredible moment in the lives of
rising sports stars.
ESPN's hate for the president obviously overtook their coverage of this story since
they definitely didn't seem like they wanted to give credit where it was due, after spending
months bashing him.
Worse yet, was more unfortunate news these players got moments after their public appreciation
for the president ended.
ESPN did manage to offer additional coverage of these UCLA basketball payers' ordeal,
but only to broadcast the unfortunate outcome they experienced after Trump brought them
back.
According to ESPN:
LiAngelo Ball, Cody Riley and Jalen Hill have been suspended from the basketball team indefinitely
after returning from a trip to China, where they were held for shoplifting.
"They will have to earn their way back," UCLA coach Steve Alford said during a news
conference Wednesday.
Alford said the players will not travel, suit up for road games or take part in practice
while the school performs a review of the situation.
It's gross that the left's discontent for our president supersedes their ability
to recognize when a good thing was done for any American, because he did it to leave no
citizen behind, regardless of gender, race, creed, religion, or if they like him.
Had Obama done this for these three, we wouldn't have heard the end of it from the mainstream
media who would be demanding he receives an award for his courageous and compassionate
act.
what do you think about this?

Anambra election: Why we are backing Obiano for second term – Ezeife|NVS News|News Entertaiment| - Duration: 3:37.Anambra election: Why we are backing Obiano for second term – Ezeife
Elder statesman and first civilian governor of the state, Chief Chukwuemeka Ezeife has explained why the state's elders are behind the incumbent governor, Chief Willie Obiano for a second term.
Ezeife lamented that the ongoing electioneering campaigns in the state were based on blatant lies and denials, adding that people were even denying the stupendous growth in the agricultural sector, as well as in infrastructural development across the state.
The former governor, who is the chairman of the Elders' Council, in a statement said: "In the beginning, Governor Willie Obiano, after being sworn in, told the elders of Anambra State in his first meeting with the council, that his first priority would be security.
"I was the first member to respond to the governor's statement and I told him that it is only people who feel secure that will come and invest in our economy.
Another member of the council stated with emphasis that should the governor succeed with security, he would easily be allowed to go for the second term, although most people doubted the possibility of achieving meaningful security in Anambra State because of the situation the state was in at the time.
"Today, the story is clear and definite.
Anambra State is one of the safest in the country.
Before Obiano's security solution, visiting Anambra State was with great fear and some would not dare enter the state.
Even in day time, moving around Onitsha was so harzzadous and in general, people smuggled themselves in and out of the state.
"Kidnapping was a regular occurrence and only doubtful and deceitful investors visited Anambra.
The story is totally different today as people move without fear and rich people now hold their ceremonies in the state.
"The truth of the matter is that Anambra elders committed themselves to Governor Obiano that if he succeeded with solving the security problem, they would support his second term bid.
Indeed, it is now the debt we owe him and we should do it with happiness and celebration.".
According to Ezeife, it was quite possible and likely that most people in the state had taken security for granted, but Nigerians knew what happened.

How Zara Started - Duration: 1:58.In 1975, Amancio Ortega and Rosalia Mera, opened up a small clothing store in the
northern Spanish city of A Coruña. They called the shop Zorba, after their
favorite film "Zorba the Greek". But as they were preparing for launch and
building the mold for their sign, they realized that there was already a bar
two blocks away called Zorba. The bar owner actually came to Ortega and told
him that having to Zorbas in one town would be too confusing. But they didn't
want to pay for a new sign, so they were trying to think of a new name that was
similar to Zorba. They settled on Zara, they opened the store and Ortega and
Mara quickly realized that slow pace in the fashion industry. Typically apparel
retailers have to buy all of their inventory and advance for the upcoming
season. Because of this they aren't allowed to change the volume of the
order nor are they allowed to introduce new styles midseason. But then Ortega and
Mara thought of this new concept of fast fashion, where they would locate their
manufacturers next to their retailer stores, which they would call "proximity
markets". In fact Zara only sources about 30 percent of their clothing from Asia,
while other companies like H&M sources about 80 percent. This creates an
extremely tight supply chain where the retail stores can get deliveries twice a
week, and the headquarters in Arteixo, Spain, can reach stores within three
weeks. This means Zara doesn't have to commit to all of their inventory well in
advance of a season. It actually manufactured during the season, which
means they can quickly respond to fashion changes, increase or decrease
production , weather changes, introduce new lines and so forth. This
innovative model took off and Zara's parent company, Inditex, has seen
double-digit growth consistently. Today Zara is the third biggest clothing brand
in the world, valued at $14.4 billion
dollars, and Ortega is actually the third wealthiest person in the world. And
that's how Zara started. Thank you for watching my video, if you enjoyed it
