Hi, this is Dr. Hourglass, and welcome to another video in our channel Star Bodies.

Today we are going to discuss: Sun exposure after plastic surgery.

In this channel we discuss everything you need to know to get that star body that you want.

Welcome back!

Sun exposure after plastic surgery can affect the results achieved in negative ways.

Furthermore, it can lead to many side effects, health, and aesthetic complications.

It is for these reasons that plastic surgeons always warn their patients against sun exposure

of the operated area after the intervention.

First off, sun exposure has the tendency to trigger unsightly scarring.

After plastic surgery, patients must be sure to avoid direct exposure to the sun or any other forms

of direct heat for at least 4 to 6 months.

The first two months following the surgery are particularly crucial to the achievement

of your plastic surgery goals, so it is critical to cover your body when you go out in the sun

during this time.

When the surgical wound is exposed to the sun (especially during the first four months after the surgery)

the scar tissue will become dark and hyperpigmentation would be triggered.

Combined, both of these factors can introduce unwelcoming aesthetic features to your body.

On the other hand, when you avoid sun exposure, not only would you heal quickly but the quality

of the achieved aesthetic goals would also be better.

You will get less visible scarring and the swelling will subside quickly.

It is important for patients to understand that the surgical site is very sensitive after plastic surgery.

Exposing the skin to the sun can easily burn the area, making it appear darker.

During the first four months after plastic surgery, it may even cause your tissue to become impaired.

During the first 2-3 months following your operation, be sure to stay in the shade.

Never expose your body to the sun unnecessarily.

If you have to go out, be sure to cover the surgical site properly.

Also, take an umbrella along.

You may also use cover-ups and sundresses to keep your sun exposure to the minimum extent possible.

Sunscreen with SPF 30 can also help protect your skin from the negative effects of UV rays.

Remember, the more careful you are during the first few months after the surgery,

the better the aesthetic results of plastic surgery will be.

Welcome to the Silent D Motor Show. Picture this: We're in in the mid 60s.

Chevrolet is on the way to overtake Ford in every car class. The Nova is

outselling Ford in the small size category. The newly introduced Chevelle

is outselling Ford in the mid size category, and the redesigned Impala is

dominating the full-size category. But with the introduction of the Mustang in

1964, Ford basically created an entire new category, the pony car, as explained

in my last episode. And well I guess Chevy didn't see that coming,

so their engineers quickly had to come up with something to compete with it.

And that took them a couple of years but in 1967 they launched this - the Camaro,

basically designed to take out the Mustang. And while it took ten years

before the Camaro would sell more than the Mustang, they surely created an

awesome car. These early Camaros are very much saught after today and also very

popular in the pro-touring community. And as you might have guessed this one has

quite a few modifications. All chrome is removed, front bumper is removed, it's got

different mirrors, upgraded lights and a bunch of other stuff. But more

importantly, for better performance, it's got upgraded suspension, better

brakes, bigger wheels and the 350 small block bored out to 355, with a bunch of

goodies on it. And now let's bring in the owner Maeco, and go for a drive!

So you built this car together with your daughter? Yeah, yeah we built it. Came

pretty much like in puzzle. So couple hours of after work,

few hours on the weekends, three years later - this is it! Maeco are you gonna let me

try driving this? Of course man.

Oh man, that feels good!

I'm gonna take it easy though, I don't wanna... I want to make sure that a Amaya has

Get out of your own headspace. You know that's the number one piece of advice

that I can give you, as a business owner and entrepreneur professional, In fact

anyone in life. You see, there's always urgent, there's always the next phone

call, the next deadline. Whether it's in the office, whether it's hot at home, the

bills to pay, the stuff to organize and every time you take something on, your

head fills up. One of the best secrets i ever learnt was to make sure that at least

once a month, from a business point of view, I'm getting out and I'm going to

something. I'm going to an event, I'm going to someone else's scenario, I'm

spending a day with a business coach. One day a month, from a business point of

view, I always get out of my own headspace. Putting yourself in a

different environment, where you're free to think, dream and come up with

ideas, you have to do it at least that often. Otherwise you lose your connection

to your vision, to the driving purpose. You lose your connection to your source

of unlimited ideas because you just filled up with signal noise. From a

personal point of view, make sure you get out of your own headspace and spend time.

Whether it's exercising, whether it's going for a walk,

whether it's going to the gym, don't plug earphones in and fill your head up with

more noise. Create space for yourself in ways that allow you to be you to be

quiet, to be silent, to have your thinking turned off so you can start feeling and

start knowing. Doing that often enough is the biggest key to success that I've

ever discovered for myself and for any of the people that I've

How To Grow Ginger - Duration: 6:14.

in today's video let's talk about growing your own ginger

In Today's video we're going to talk about growing ginger. Ginger is a strong potent herb and you

can use it either fresh or dried I like ginger because it always compliments my

food dishes I use it with sushi I use it my health drinks and if you didn't know

it ginger can help to reduce pain ease any stomach aches you may have and also

boost your metabolism you can grow ginger either indoors or outdoors but

depending on where you grow it you can harvest it year-round I'm gonna be

talking about growing ginger outdoors in today's video when you just decided that

you want to grow it outdoors one of the things you want to definitely do is you

want to start with a living ginger root like this one you could tell it's living

because it's still got a little green yellowish tint to it

and all these buds are starting to break again you could take cuttings off of a

plant or you could buy it at a nursery a garden center a seed company or you can

go to an organic store and buy ginger root there all of those should work I

don't recommend buying ginger root from a non-organic source because most of

them are sprayed with growth inhibitors that will make it very difficult for

them to sprout you'll probably just waste your time when you're selecting

them make sure you grab one that has some plumpness to it make sure that the

skin is tight and make sure it does have several buds on it remember each of

these buds will produce a whole nother ginger plant should you want it now the

key to growing ginger guys you got to get it ready for planting you want to

soak it in warm water overnight this kind of stimulates the plant in two

inches of growth tricking it into thinking oh the cold season is over

let's go ahead and start growing it now one of the things I like to do is break

my ginger into sections and you can either break it or you can cut it either

way it doesn't really matter you just want to make sure that you have

enough buds on every section so that whatever you plant can grow what you

should do is go ahead and wait a little bit to let this scab over that way

doesn't catch any disease or at least reduces the amount of chances for

disease it will get then you'll want to take a shallow hole one or two inches

down you'll want to plant the ginger with the bud sides facing up that's

these little guys right here you'll also want to cover this guy with at least two

inches of soil just like that make sure that it stays in a spot that stays warm

but doesn't get a lot of bright sunlight also with ginger root you want to keep

the soil moist but you want to be careful that you don't over water

because if you overwater ginger root is susceptible to root rot now ginger is

gonna grow slow so you got to be patient about a month after you plant it you

should start seeing some sprouts that come out of the ground I'll insert a

picture of the sprouts here

a few months after the ginger has been growing you can actually pull the soil

back and harvest some of the fresh young ginger if you were to break it off and

use it you would just cover it back up with the soil and let it continue to

grow for a large ginger guys if you want to grow bigger roots remember that

ginger is a heavy feeder it requires a lot of macronutrients potassium

phosphorous and especially nitrogen so I recommend as you're growing it at least

once a month giving it at least a 5-5-5 fertilizer just to keep the nutrients

available for the plant to take in and produce bigger better bulbs here is some

ginger that I started late season I think it's been about four and a half

five months since I planted this ginger and it was actually ginger that was

purchased from sprouts so it's organic ginger but I'm not expecting to get very

big results and I wasn't planning on it I've could have left it in the ground

and it would have been a lot bigger however we're gonna harvest it today

anyway despite that it's still putting off new roots because I need to get this

pot available for other things

there you go there's some yet nice young fresh ginger and now we got another

plant back here and this one feels maybe a little bigger

yeah not a bad-looking one

you can see the original rhizome there and it's yielded quite a bit so for a

small little rhizome it gave me about three times its size we'll take it let

me get these washed up and we'll show you what we got here

beautiful-looking ginger and there you have it everyone not too bad of a little

harvest from a few rhizomes that were not very big grown from organic ginger

root purchased at a local grocer tonight the video please give it a thumbs up

Every one affects you and you affect everyone. It's a simple thing that you

really need to understand. Who you surround yourself with, how your being on

the inside everything, connects everything, plays a role in your reality,

what you experience and what you create in the world. You see so many people get

caught in this false belief that it doesn't matter what they're feeling on

the inside. Because so long as they put on their game face, it's what is on the

outside that counts. But we've all been in the situation where we walk into a

room or just simply being around another person drains our energy. It's because we

affect everyone and everyone affects us. What's on the inside translates to

what's on the outside. So if you're not being who you are, if you're in conflict

with yourself, if you're not clear on who you truly are, then you will have

conflict. That conflict translates to everyone around you and by the same

token, if you are chasing your own clarity, if you are looking to bring

cohesion into your life, then surround yourself with other people that are

doing the same. If you put yourself in environments where the room is

resonating at a point that's below you, then what's going to happen you get

brought down. On the converse side if you're in a room where you're the

opposite, you're gonna bring everyone else down understand that you affect

everyone and they're affected by you. So control your intent, control who you are.

Understand that surrounding yourself with the right people and being one of

the right people is critical to living your most fulfilled and
