EASY CHRISTMAS STAR * ORNAMENT CRAFT * for kids, school, home & Sunday School (WRIGHT IDEAS) - Duration: 4:43.

yes welcome to my channel where I put up simple tutorials to help people like you

who are giving their time to teach children and today we are doing a

Christmas star ornament crafts it's really really simple

I'm going to be giving you some tips and advice if you are teaching this to a

group of children so if you're interested in your craft

going smoothly then be sure to keep watching. what you'll need is you'll need

little styrofoam stars you'll need little wire hooks that you hang

ornaments with or you could use some craft wire the other thing you'll need

is of course some craft glue you'll need little bowls and for the glue and the

paintbrushes you'll need whatever glitter color that you're going to use

or colors the other thing is some bowls to catch the glitter and do the

sprinkling with and then the thing that's really important is you'll need a

wet hand washer because the kids hands will get very gluey and save them all

having to go off to the bathroom to wash their hands they can just wipe them on

this washer now this is what you need to prepare the crafts your little hooks and

your stars or your wire and all I do is just straighten out the hook like that

twist it into the little styrofoam star like that okay so that's one way you can

do it or if you want to use this wire I make a little loop you can just loop it

like that and then stick the ends into the little styrofoam star as well and

then you can have an ornament that has a little loop so that's another way of

doing it and then once you have all your little stars prepared for your group

then you're ready to go and all you need then - your glue and your paintbrush and

what I normally do is if I'm doing this all on my own without any helpers and

it's just me I'll get that all the kids started on something

whether their coloring doing color sheet or working on a little book and then

I'll take one table at a time to come over to an a area in the

room and they'll come and do this little craft because it's very very quick so

all they do is paint the little star all over the best that they can this is

really like the Gumnut ornament tutorial that I did where the kids painted the

Gumnut ornament and then they just sprinkled it with the glitter the thing

I love about using a star relates to a Bible story about the Wiseman so you can

use this as a reinforcement of your lesson - this is my little tip which I've

learned from doing this is the bigger the bowl the tidier your table would be

so if you have a decent sized bowl then glitter won't go as far and the kids

just sprinkle it over the top of the star the other thing that I would give a

tip if you're on your own and you've got quite a few kids I would just do one

color whether it be gold or whether it be silver if you do lots of colors the

kids might have a problem with you know who wants this color and she wants that

color so I find one color actually works or you could do two you know gold and

silver or if you have time the kids can do a couple of stars you know if you

need to use more time up in your lesson and the thing that I use to keep it to

dry is I use a cup holder and the kids can just hang their finished star on the

cup holder to dry so what did you think of that simple little star ornament it's

pretty simple isn't it? well if you like glittering and you like doing Christmas

crafts I actually have a whole playlist now that I've been putting my Christmas

crafts ideas up and I have lots more glittering you'll find the ideas of how

to do some seedpod glittering as well as I've got a little angel ornament that

you can check out so when you have time to grab a cup of tea and just watch a

playlist go ahead and try it out once again i'm glad that you visited here and

if you like this idea today can you give it a thumbs up? that would be awesome.

Thanks so much for watching!

Top 5 Shocking Things Found In Your Favorite Foods - Duration: 3:45.

When you go to take a bite of your favorite food you know what to expect.

However sometimes that food can be altered in an unexpected way and that's what were

going to be talking about today.

Hey YouTube im court mcginley and welcome back to the most amazing top 5.

Before we get started I want to know whats your favorite food?

Mine would probably be any type of vegetable soup or kraft dinner… yeah kraft dinners

great.

Let me know yours down in the comments.

Also make sure you don't forget to hit that subscribe button if you havnt already- let

me know what lists youd like to see next and give this video a big thumbs up so I can keep

bringing you awesome top 5 lists.

Alright lets get started on our list of the top 5 shocking things found in your favorite

foods.

Coming in at our number 5 spot--Tuna- we all know that tunas a fish but the last thing

you expect to see when you open a can of tuna is to have 2 beaty little eyes staring up

at you.

That's why you buy the can so you don't need to see any of that.

This picture was posted to twitter and people were baffled trying to figure out what this

creature was.

A lot of people guessed a tadpole or blowfish.

Then a canned fish company called Princes conducted an investigation of their own and

they were able to concludes that this was in fact a tongue-eating louse.

Yeah that's definitely not a comforting name.

for those of you who don't know this is a parasite that enters a fish through its

gills and then attaches itself to the fishes tongue.

in at number 4--Salad- yeah no one wants this.

Salads are great because for 1 theyre health and 2 you can pretty much put whatever you

want in them – vegetables- nuts- fruit and even meat.

But theres one type of meat that should not go in salads and that's lizard meat.

Yep lizards should not go in salads.

Unfortunately Robin Sandusky found this lizard head in her salad from a New York Café.

Yep this little guy was mixed in with her lettuce leaves.

Just a lizard head with a half open eye and a little arm.. yep that would make me instantly

lose my appetite.

Poor little guy…and poor Robin.

-at number 3-Bananas- Bananas are not only delicious they are also a great source of

vitamin B- vitamin C- potassium- dietary fiber- biotin- copper- and apparently scorpions?

This scorpion was found alive in a sealed packs of bananas.

How scary is that?

Imagine you somehow don't notice this little guy hiding in your banana packag3e as you

put it in your cart- and somehow the cashier ringing you out doesn't notice either and

you actually make it home.

This little guy would've just roamed free in your house.

Imagine how shocked you would be when you see it scurrying across your couch one day.

Luckily that wasn't the case.

And the person noticed the scorpion was in the package while still at the store.

Apparently the scorpion hitched a ride to the store In Cornwall all the way from Costa

Rica- well I guess that's one way to travel.

Coming in at number 2 --Chicken nuggets- yeah I know..i know chicken nuggets aren't good

for you but they are freaking delicious.

Although after hearing this story you might be turned off from them for life.

Back in 2000 a woman named Katherine Ortega bought a box of fried chicken wings and McNuggets

at a local McDonalds.

While serving the dinner to her family she noticed one of the pieces had a weird shape.

Upon further inspection she saw the piece of chicken had eyes and a beak.

Yeah this wasn't no chicken wing or nugget…it was a chickens head- it was battered- deep

fried and fully intact.

Obviously this picture made it onto the internet and the story onto the news.

This fried chickens head earned Katherine 100 thousand dollars worth of compensation

for McDonalds. and in at number one--Sandwiches- A man was

at an Arbeys in Florida and he ordered a chicken sandwich.

He went to sit down and enjoy his meal when he found a large slice of bloody human skin

under his bun.

He obviously freaked out..an investigation took place and it revealed that the restaurants

manager was cutting up lettuce in the back and accidently sliced off a chunk of him finger.

The manager neglected to throw out the lettuce and actually served it to customer.

clearly with a piece of his skin inside it.

That is so disgusting…not to mention really dangerous.

And there you have it that's our list of the top 5 shocking things found in your favorite

foods.

Thank you guys so much for watching and ill catch you in the next one.

La vida de una MAMÁ YOUTUBER y la importancia del juego - GENIUS OF PLAY - VeroSweetHobby 2 - Duration: 2:37.

Hi! I'm Vero,

and this is my channel VeroSweetHobby.

Today I have a super special video,

because I'll tell you how is my life

as a YouTuber and as a mom.

To be honest, being a YouTuber, working mom and mom

at the same time,

it's not so easy sometimes.

Between thinking about what cakes to make,

shooting the videos...

editing and publishing them,

it's a never ending job.

For our children, it's super important that we help them

that we help them find their time and space

to play and to develop critical skills.

I'm so happy to tell you that I've been chosen

to be the first Spanish speaking

Ambassador of Genius of Play.

That is such an honor!

They teach the importance of learning

through PLAY.

Let me tell you some tips that help me a lot

to find the balance between being a mom and working

without giving up on any of them.

It's important to be organized to find those moments,

where you can stop

and you can even give them activities

that they can do by themselves.

Putting together a calendar,

is such a great activity!

It helps you take advantage of each minute of the day

and they get really excited to know

what activities are planned for the rest of the week.

I like to leave them alone in their rooms

that are full of toys!

And I pay attention to what they do.

I'm fascinated to find them making up fantastic worlds

that can only exist in the mind of a little one,

or when they make their pieces of art,

that of course we celebrate with enthusiasm!

I love to hear them laughing and enjoying themselves!

Letting play outside, where they develop fundamental

physical skills.

Organizing play dates with their friends

give them the opportunity to explore roles

and to let them create their own imaginary world.

Because with each game, they learn to

manage their feelings, to negotiate and to think.

And if you want to have great information

to play with your kids,

visit elvalordejugar.org

So now you know!

Let's share more activities with our children,

have lots of fun together,

and learn through play!

The Most Emotional Movies Of All Time - Duration: 5:02.

We've all lost it at one point or another during an emotional film.

Sometimes, in just about any movie, all it takes is a well-timed moment or a single line,

and bam — waterworks.

But the scenes in these movies in particular crank the sadness up to 11, leaving the audience

practically swimming by the time the credits roll.

Clear your throat, because we're about to put a lump in it with the most emotional movies

of all time.

Interstellar

If you've caught Christopher Nolan's space epic Interstellar, you'll know what's coming

next.

This story of headstrong astronaut Joseph Cooper, played by Matthew McConaughey, isn't

one you'd anticipate to have you bawling like a baby, but oh, it absolutely does.

With Earth facing extinction, Cooper and the crew of the spaceship Endurance head out in

an attempt to find a suitable planet to colonize.

But after getting stranded on one planet for decades of relative time, Cooper arrives back

on the Endurance to years' worth of messages from his children, Murphy and Tom.

They were just kids when he left Earth, but they're now adults.

Compound this with McConaughey's gripping performance, and this scene leaves you decidedly

not "alright, alright, alright."

Guardians of the Galaxy

For all its high-throttle space action and hilarious one-liners, Guardians of the Galaxy

still managed to deliver a rich, emotional story and a couple moments that just broke

the tear bank completely.

One of the most heartfelt parts of the movie comes right in the opening scene, which sees

young Peter Quill with his mother on her deathbed.

It's bad enough when Peter refuses to take her hand seconds before she flatlines.

But let's face it — we all lost it when Peter's grandfather has to pull him screaming

from the room.

"No."

"No!"

Geez, not even five minutes into the movie, and you're already sobbing into your Milk

Duds.

The Green Mile

Adapted from the 1996 Stephen King novel, The Green Mile seems like a dark film on the

surface, but what lies below is a web of relationships that will tug at your heartstrings.

The most touching of all?

John Coffey, played by the late Michael Clarke Duncan, and Paul Edgecomb, played by Tom Hanks,

who form an unusual alliance at Cold Mountain Penitentiary, where John is awaiting execution

for a crime he didn't commit.

While The Green Mile has plenty of emotional moments, one in particular gets the tears

flowing every time.

Even though he's an innocent man, John confides in Paul that he wants to die, because the

world is too cruel a place for him to live.

Moments before John is killed, Paul steps forward to shake his hand, a subtle reminder

that their bond was true, and a thank you for sending him onward.

The Imitation Game

This historical drama brings light to one of Britain's most brilliant minds: Alan Turing,

the mathematician who became famous for his efforts to crack the code on the German Enigma

machines during World War II.

Despite his achievements, Turing was subject to extreme ridicule by the United Kingdom's

legal system following the discovery that he was in a same-sex relationship with a young

man.

The Imitation Game depicts this arresting account of discrimination very well, but the

tipping point comes near the end.

Facing the risk of losing his latest machine, which he named Christopher after a boy he

fell in love with in school, Turing breaks down in one of the most emotional onscreen

performances in recent years.

Toy Story 3

Pixar has a particular way of pulling at your emotions, but there was something uniquely

devastating about 2010's Toy Story 3.

Released 11 years after the second installment, Toy Story 3 had no shortage of hilarious moments

and tongue-in-cheek references, and it also came with a plotline that drove a nail straight

into its audience's heart: the gang of toys don't belong to Andy anymore, a circumstance

that leaves their fates hanging by a thread.

During the climax of the film, the whole bunch end up in an incinerator after an escape plan

goes wrong.

Of course, watching characters you were first introduced to when you were just a kid in

danger is difficult enough, but the moment the crew realizes that they're going to die

— and decide to link up hands so they can face their fate together is next-level cinematic

torture.

You had to have eyes of steel to make it through that scene without a few tears.

The NeverEnding Story

The 1984 film The NeverEnding Story bills itself as an epic fantasy, but it could also

be called a "psychological roller-coaster," because that's exactly what audiences experience

when they witness Atreyu's horse Artax sink into the Swamps of Sadness forever.

When the boy-and-horse pair are trekking through the swamps, Artax gets stuck in the mud and

is too downtrodden to carry on, so he slowly sinks to his tragic fate — and the camera

doesn't cut away, guaranteeing no one will step away dry-eyed.

Not even a Luckdragon can make up for this kind of blow to your emotions.

Good Will Hunting

The late Robin Williams' Oscar-winning performance as Professor Sean Maguire in the 1997 drama

Good Will Hunting is one of his finest — as the Academy can clearly tell you — and a

lot of that comes down to one scene.

Matt Damon's Will Hunting is speaking to Sean about being abused by his foster father, and

the moment spirals into a stunning breakthrough grounded in a single sentence that sits sincere

amongst a film that's littered with sarcastic one-liners.

"It's not your fault."

24 essential phrasal verbs for computers and technology - Duration: 10:35.

This lesson's about phrasal verbs we use to talk about computers and technology.

We're going to look 24 common ones, learn their meanings and then we'll have a story,

because the best way to learn phrasal verbs is to see them in action.

Before we begin, there's something you need to know about English phrasal verbs.

Some are separable and some aren't.

So sometimes we can separate the verb from the other little word and sometimes we can't.

For example, 'plug in' is a separable phrasal verb, so you can plug in a device or you can

plug it in.

We say it in both ways but we don't say 'plug in it'.

If you're not sure about that, we've made another video about it.

I'll put a link here.

Inseparable phrasal verbs are different because we can't separate the words.

They stick together.

For example, 'get into' is inseparable in this sentence and it means enter.

If you can't access the system, you can't get into it.

But you can't say 'get the system into'.

Get and into stick together.

OK, now you know that, let's look at some phrasal verbs and see what they mean.

First one.

Before you use your computer you have to hook it up – connect the cables and give it power.

Next one?

This is easy – you turn the computer on.

Press a switch so it starts working.

And what's the opposite?

It's turn off, of course.

And here's a very similar one.

Power up means preparing a machine to work by supplying it with electricity.

And the opposite?

Power down.

When you turn on your computer it boots up.

It starts working and loads a program so it's ready to be used.

Sometimes we just say boot.

I'm waiting for my computer to boot.

But often we say boot up.

It takes ages to boot up.

And the opposite of boot up is shut down.

It means to stop it operating.

Sometimes I forget to shut down my computer before I go home.

It means it's running all night.

Next one?

Or next two!

They both mean the same thing - connect to a network.

Usually we need a password to log in.

You can say log in or log on – it's the same.

So what's the opposite?

Log off or log out.

That's when you disconnect from a network.

Now look what happens when there's an object.

The preposition changes and we say log into, log onto, log off of or log out of.

They're all inseparable so the verbs and the other little words stick together.

However we can also log someone into a system – that's when we do it for them.

Can you log me onto the network?

Yeah.

Do you have a password?

No.

You'll need to create one first.

Next one?

'Put in' means type.

Sometimes we say 'key in' as well – it means the same thing.

It's when you enter data.

OK, I've got my password.

Then put it in.

OK, we're in the system now and we're working on our computer, then a message suddenly

appears – it pops up.

Maybe it's an advertisement or a warning.

They pop up a lot.

I hate the ads that keep popping up.

Yeah.

Click on the red cross and they'll go away.

Click on – this means move your mouse onto something and click.

Another thing we do with our mouse is scroll.

There are so many ads.

Can you scroll down past them?

Scrolling down means moving the screen down and the opposite is scrolling up, of course.

We can also zoom in and make things larger.

And the opposite?

Zoom out.

Next one.

It's always a good idea back up your files.

Make a copy of them so you have a second version if the first one fails

And, I have just one more for you.

This is when people get into a network secretly, without permission.

They look at information, and maybe change or steal it.

Hey, do you think someone's hacked into our system?

I hope not!

Great, now let's see some of these verbs in action.

Are you ready for a story?

Watch it and see how many phrasal verbs you can spot.

Here we go.

Computer help desk.

I need your help.

I can't log into the system.

I can help you with that.

You need to hook up your computer.

Plug it in and power it up.

I've already done all that.

So you've turned it on?

Yes, it's on.

I need you to log me onto the network.

You want to get into the system.

Yes.

I can't get in.

Then I need you user ID.

It's 46821.

Please hurry up because I've got a conference call starting in five minutes

OK.

I just sent you a link.

Really?

Click on the link and then scroll down.

Ah.

A message just popped up.

What does it say?

'Are you a robot?'

It wants me to type two words in a little box.

Oh.

Are you a robot?

No, of course not!

Sometimes robots try to hack into our system.

I'm a human being!

Then just put in the words.

Key them in.

It's impossible.

I can't read them.

Sorry then.

I can't help you.

Why not?

You're a robot.

I'm not a robot.

It's impossible to read these words.

Sorry, I can't help robots.

Ah well.
