BookTubeAThon TBR [CC] - Duration: 8:06.

Hi everyone!

My name is Frede and today I'm gonna be doing my TBR for the upcoming BookTubeAThon.

We have a bit of a strange improvised set up today because I'm at my mum's and I couldn't

really find a way to do this nicely so we just have my white wall and my ugly shelves.

But let's just not be bothered by that and let's talk about the books I'm planning to

read for the BookTubeAThon.

I've seen a lot of people have some very strong opinions about these reading challenges about

how they're like really difficult and I was like yeah kind of, but that's also the definition

of a challenge.

My TBR is just overambitious.

From those seven days I only really have two days that I have nothing planned on.

Because the first day of the BookTubeAThon which is the 30th of July is my dad's birthday.

The next day is my sister's birthday.

Then I have two days where I have nothing planned and then on the 3rd to the 5th I'm

actually not even home.

But we're still gonna try and do this and I need to stop babbling and we're gonna have

a look at the books I'm planning to read for the respective challenges.

So the first challenge is let a coin toss decide your first read.

And I saw the TBR video by Sajid over at Books are my Social Life and I thought his interpretation

of that was very interesting.

He didn't just say okay, I take two random books and just say okay, this is heads this is tails.

But he took it literally in the sense of heads and tails.

And in Trinidad where he's from it's not heads or tails but heads or, what was it, something with a bird.

And I thought I'm gonna take the same idea because in German we don't say heads or tails,

we say basically head or number because there is the number on the coin, you know?

Actually, on German euro coins there are no heads but I found one in my purse which is from Spain.

And Spain does have a head on their 20 cent coin.

So we're using this one.

And I thought I'm gonna go with titles that fit that.

So in case I get heads with the coin I'm going to read White Tears by Hari Kunzru.

Because obviously, you cry from your face which is on your head.

And if I get the number I'm going to read The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid.

So we have the number here and we have the head here basically.

I'm gonna read both of those books but whatever.

So.

I caught it.

Okay, I got the head.

I'm not sure I'm gonna go with like the actual order of the books but I- for that challenge

my book will be White Tears.

The next challenge is to read a book about something that you want to do.

This might be a bit of a stretch but I bought a book earlier this year which has also been

translated into English but it's originally written in German.

The English title is Birdmania and the German title is Ornithomania

by Bernd Brunner.

And it's basically about the fascination and the obsession that humans have had with birds

throughout history basically.

And like this is kind of a topic that's like very close to my own heart in a way.

Because my dad is a passionate bird watcher.

Like there are some places where people go in order to just chill for a week.

Like get up late, spend the entire day at the beach or at the swimming pool.

My dad goes to the same places, but he gets up at like 5 am and goes to some forest or

some other place in nature and tries to see exciting birds.

I have never really got into this bird obsession in a way.

I do have a bird tattooed on my arm which is very much influenced by him and I would

like to know more about birds.

So I think this might be an interesting book to read with kind of the personal background

that I have and that kind of approach to knowledge about birds and this one which is just I think

broader than just going out and looking at birds that you see.

So that is a bit of a stretch for the challenge but I don't care.

This is my channel and I'm going with this book.

The next challenge is to read a book and watch its movie adaptation.

And I've decided to go and read Pride and Prejudice and I might listen to the audiobook

if I can find one that's good.

And I'm not sure yet if I'm going to watch the film because I've heard a ton of good

things about The Lizzie Bennet Diaries on YouTube.

So I might actually watch that and count it- count that as its movie adaptation, although

it's not actually one that's how I'm going to count it.

And this is the book I'm going to go with.

The next challenge is to read a book with the colour green on the cover.

Now technically, I already have that because there are a lot of green birds on here.

But the book that I'm going to go with, because obviously I also want to read seven books,

is The Wake by Paul Kingsnorth.

I have already started this book and I will probably read a bit in the upcoming week.

Because this book is written in what the author calls a shadow tongue.

It's basically sort of like Old English, sort of like Middle English, but written in a way

that if you know Old English a bit you understand it even as a Modern English speaker if that makes sense.

I'm going to insert a cutaway here so you understand what I mean.

And I'm enjoying this book but it is quite exhausting and draining to read.

So it's actually not a perfect book for a readathon, but I do want to finish this anyways,

so I'm just gonna go with this book for the challenge.

The next challenge is to read a book while wearing the same hat the entire time of reading the book.

And when I watched the original challenges video, someone in the comments said the funnest

thing would be to read a book with a hat on the cover and also wear a hat while reading it.

And I was like "I have a book with a hat on the cover".

So I'm going to read Chavs: The Demonization of the Working Class by Owen Jones because

there is a hat on here.

And I'm not exactly sure which hat I'm going to wear.

Because I have one that's a bit similar to this one, although not exactly that I found

in my grandfather's old kind of I don't know workshop cellar room.

My grandfather's been dead for like five years but like some of his stuff is still there.

So I might wear this one.

Yeah.

Or I might go with one that's a bit prettier.

And I might wear this one.

We'll see which one I'll decide to wear.

But yeah my book for that hat challenge is also a book with a hat on the cover.

Question number six I found the most difficult because it's to read a book with a beautiful spine.

And maybe this is cheating but I don't care, I'm going to be going with Purple Hibiscus

by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.

These editions by Fourth Estate are so beautiful.

They have kept the design but changed a bit here, I prefer like with the little title

not with the big one like the newer ones are right now.

And the beautiful design just wraps around the book, so you have it on the front, on

the spine and on the back.

So the spine is beautiful so I'm just gonna go with this book.

And the last challenge is to read seven books.

And I'm just going to go with the other book that could've been my result for the coin

toss thing.

So I'm going to be reading The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo because I wanna read this book

anyways so we're just gonna go with it.

And we have another book with green on the cover.

So these are all the books that I'm planning to read for the BookTubeAThon.

I don't really think I will be able to do the video challenges or definitely not all

of them because as I said, I will not be home from the 3rd to the 5th.

I might do the other ones.

I'm not quite sure because I will not in my own flat but I will be here at my mum's.

So we'll see how all of that goes.

I might vlog the entire week and upload kind of a weekly readathon vlog at the end of the week.

I'm not exactly sure yet.

We'll see.

It's definitely gonna be a really busy week.

So all of these books here they're- I'm not gonna be able to read all of them.

I already know that.

But you know, you always need to aim high and try and do whatever you need to do.

So anyways, this was my TBR for the upcoming BookTubeAThon.

If you're also participating and have uploaded a TBR video, tell me about it and I'm gonna

head over to your channel and watch it.

Thank you all for watching this video and I will hopefully see you in my next one.

Bye!

WHY DID I STOP JUICE FASTING? - Duration: 3:22.

hey guys back with another video I had got a question about meat juice fasting

then why did I stop juice fasting I never stopped June's fasting even when I

am NOT even when I'm not doing juice fasting full time and I'm eating foods I

always have a 32 ounce juice every single day along with a meal and the

reason for me juice fast name and also eating solid meals is because when I

have a juice it suppresses my appetite it makes me not eat as much because I'm

getting the proper nutrients and vitamins in that juice and it allows me

to eat but not overeat because the body's giving off the signals that I'm

not hungry so I will be juicing even when I'm not doing juice fast when I'm

on a solid food vacation for the rest of my life that's just a choice that I had

made when I was on the juice fast I enjoy juicing and I just can't see

myself without it because of all the benefits that I you know took away from

being on the juice fast I cannot see myself without fresh juices every single

day that was why I had bought a little bit more pricier juicer a slow

masticating juicer because I wanted to be able to you know get as much of the

nutrients from that juice as possible without it's being killed from the fast

juicer that I was using the enzymes and minerals that were in that June so want

to maximize all the minerals in vitamins I could from that juice and also I

wanted to juices stay fresher longer in the

cleanup I wanted to be able to every day to a juice and not have a big machine

like my old one where the cleaning up was taking an hour just to clean up the

Machine and then cleaning up the mess like that the pull the counters and

everything else to come with it I want to get something that was going to allow

me to make a juice every single day and not have to worry about a long clean up

but juicing is part of my life and I have a juice every single day at least a

32-ounce juice it's the least that I have every day even when I'm not on a

total juice fast juice piece I always have a fresh juice so I just want to let

you guys know for some of you that think that I'm not juicing even when I'm not

doing a full on Jews where I take away solid foods I'm always having at least

32 ounces of the juice every single day before my first meal of the day

so what all that being said please subscribe to the channel like and share

this video I'm making a favorite

Following Intuition Can Create A Sense Of Responsibility For The Job - Duration: 3:18.

***Following intuition can create a sense of responsibility for the job***

In most people, the intuition and instinct of a person often affects the daily actions

and decisions that are taken against something that has been done.

But apparently following this intuition can also make a person less cheating and improving

himself.

This job is very important because it defines their responsibilities on many things, especially

on their work.

that someone who often follows his instinct tends to avoid negative and cheating things,

especially lying.

they prefer to be open, transparent, and honest about all the actions they take.

individual differences from the influence of intuition to one's moral behavior and other

matters deemed relevant.

a study has been conducted through two experiments designed to determine the effect of intuition

on one's behavior in terms of morals.

Experimenting using office situations as well as stories about relationships and errors

that occur in a workplace.

From the experiment will be seen how people behave with others who can harm others and

behaviors that are not in accordance with their own reality or reality in the world

of work.

Then given a story with the same story that just happened.

Then again made an observation about whether they dare to admit his mistakes or even delegated

to colleagues.

it will show the result of a person's responsibility for the behavior they perform during the workplace.

In this section is how intuition of error plays a role in a person.

Someone who uses his intuition will tend to admit his mistakes and want to correct them.

The feeling of this truth lies in the innate intuition and instinct of man.

they always try to be responsible for something they have done.

they bravely confess all their mistakes.

While someone who does not use much of his intuition will cover the mistakes he has done.

they tend to cover up every mistake they have made because they are trying to build a judgment

that is always good for themselves.

they assume if their mistakes are revealed, it will worsen their self-assessment.

In the second experiment, someone was asked to tell the cheating or wrongdoing they had

done before and then performed an IQ measurement test.

From the execution of the test is seen how the person is being honest and not cheating

on the test.

From the test results revealed that there are some people who cheat on things they have

done.

not everyone can admit every mistake they have done.

they prefer to cover up their mistakes with a meeting.

But those who have acknowledged their mistakes tend to be honest and prevent them from happening

again.

From the research conducted is also known that one's intuition can avoid himself from

depression and improve social intelligence he has.

By relying more on instinct and intuition, one can be better and more trustworthy.

it is very important for a worker.

especially for people who work in a team.

being an open and credible co-worker will make the job better and make them a reliable

worker by various parties and in various situations.
