Waching daily Jul 28 2018

hey it's patti scharf CPA and co-founder of catching clouds the leader in

e-commerce accounting and today I want to talk about not putting all your eggs

in one basket this video was actually inspired by and dedicated to Hector

Garcia CPA he's a friend and colleague of mine and I'm going to talk more about

him later but before I get into that I want to talk to all my ecommerce sellers

out there you know when when I first went into business for myself I remember

a lot of people were like well isn't that scary like like it you you have

this good job why would you quit and go work for yourself isn't that risky and

the thing that I always understood and I I think a lot of people didn't really

get was that I think it's a lot riskier to work for one employer who the your

fate your professional fate rests in their hands than it is to go work for

lots of different people so like if I have let's say I have five clients and

one client fires me I only lose 20% of my revenue I don't lose a hundred

percent of my revenue so I never really saw owning a business as risky as other

people said it was I think ecommerce is a little bit different because there are

so many people out there who are selling only on one platform maybe they're just

selling on Amazon and they may have lots of different customers but really if

Amazon shuts you down for reasons beyond your control

you really are you're kind of screwed you know that that's that's putting your

entire business in the fate of one company that's why a lot of businesses a

lot of e-commerce sellers will sell on multiple platforms they'll saw on Amazon

and Shopify and eBay just to have a little bit of diversity so if something

happens to one they don't lose all of their business

another thing and I see this all the time if people only have one payment

processor and then something happens to the payment processor or they shut you

down for some reason now you can't take on any more sales so

so a lot of sellers have at least two different payment processor types so if

one's failing for some reason the other one can pick up the steam and then this

is one thing that I've seen multiple times and it it always surprises me

every time I see it let's say you're using something like Shopify

you have a credit card on file that page or $39 a month fee and I don't know your

credit card gets hacked or something and they cancel that card they issue you a

new card and you forget to change the credit card that you have on file with

Shopify and then the month comes around and the $39 can't be charged and so what

Shopify will do is is it will hold on to any of the money that is collected on

your behalf until you rectify the situation pay them their $39 and we've

seen companies who have had hundreds of thousands of dollars held for weeks

because they didn't pay their $39 fees so make sure that you stay on top of

that one when you do it okay so now I'm getting to Hector Hector and I first met

and I think was 2014 or 2015 we were having a discussion about Intuit versus

zero and he's all in on into it I'm all in on zero which side note you might

think like contradicts they don't have you're all eggs in one basket thing but

there's a difference between specialization and strategic development

like if if I was concerned that zero was gonna go under he was concerned that it

into it was going to go under then you know we might have a different approach

but both of us feel like they're solid platforms gonna be around for a long

time they have no interest in shutting us down

they they they want to see us succeed just as much as we want to see them

succeed so so that's a different issue altogether but

but I met Hector in like 2014 or 2015 we talked about like why are you on Intuit

products why why are you on zero and we had a nice discussion we actually ended

up writing a couple of blog posts a few years back I'll put links to him down

below so you can read those it was really interesting anyway so Hector is a

force to be reckoned with he is just an amazing teacher everybody and then the

intuit community knows and loves him he is super passionate about teaching

everything he knows about QuickBooks QuickBooks Online everything else he is

on YouTube has like seventy thousand subscribers or something at the moment

and he's posted over 500 videos over the last I'd say four years so he's just

he's he's all-in on YouTube and and the world loves him right and for some

unknown reason about two days ago YouTube just decided to shut off his

account no reason given no idea what's going on and obviously it really has him

rattled but hey I want everybody who's watching this video to go tweet at

YouTube and ask them what the holy hell are you doing because it's just stupid

he is such such a powerful force in this community doing good and helping small

businesses and other accountants and everything that it would just be a

massive disservice to the world at large to take his videos down so everybody go

yell at YouTube about that but it reminded me of this whole concept of not

putting all your eggs in one basket he had he had such intensity about YouTube

and taught classes on YouTube and how to do everything and whatever that it

really kind of pulled the rug out from under him when they shut him down and I

have every confidence that it's going to come back up but but even so I think

that as a business owner you really need to take a look at what it is in your

business that are your most vulnerable points so that

you can protect yourself first for sure you like in Hector's case he had copies

of all of his videos so it wasn't like they just shut him down and he didn't

have all that information he can put all those videos on another platform and he

has such a large following he's going to land on his feet no matter what he does

but what if you have what if you're selling on Amazon and Amazon shuts you

down

building that whole ecosystem for your business back up is going to be a real

challenge so I guess those are just my thoughts today on my Saturday slow down

if you like this video please like comment and share if you haven't already

please subscribe and I will catch you later

5 TIPS ON BUYING AND SELLING SNEAKERS IN BULK - Duration: 6:40.

Yo, what's happening everybody we've been gone for a while and I'm sorry, I'm really really sorry but

We got another great video

My name is DJ is your boy AJ and we are the DNA show and today

We got some kicks for y'all know we're gonna teach you guys how to buy and sale in bulk

Would you should look for these are the tips let's get to it. Well the intro

Crash pads and ashore

It's like a fresh pants in a shoe

You know fresh pants and shoes now that you've seen the kicks

What do you think about them where there's some good pick ups and some bad pick ups?

That's the question nine times out of ten

You're gonna have some good pick ups and some bad pick ups when you're buying in bulk. It's just always like that

So let's go ahead and get into the first thing you want to do

You want to make sure that you know exactly who you're selling to or I find the buyer first

Know exactly what people want that makes it a lot easier

Once you have the kick to them be able to sell it step number two finding the shoes

So you found the buyer now, you need to ask those bars. What do they want?

What are they interested in and like you said the market you got to understand the market once you know what they want

It's a little bit easier to find the shoes because you can hunt down these kids an easy way for me is buying through

Friends buying through somebody I know because I can contact my friends and say hey

I know you're a sneaker head what you got for me. I'm interested. I want to buy your collection

I wanna buy your kicks

Okay

So you want to make sure that you buy as local as possible?

If you can't buy from your friends by for Craigslist

There's a bunch of apps out there that have local markets that you can buy from you want to make sure you do it safe

Though and by doing it safe

If you're not confident in the authentication process make sure you go to your local sneaker shops for us is index, Portland

So come down the index and you can do authentication process through there and they'll help you out through the process

step process a lot of times

So let's go to the next step I once you get the kitchen and make sure that you organize a list you want to make

Sure that you're always

organized with selling kicks because

It gets out of hand, especially if you're buying in a crazy bulk view

So what we like to do is make sure that we buy Jordans and we organize them by

Numerical order ones with ones twos with twos we some time go by year

Sometimes not but it depends on the boat deal if you have Nikes

Jordans and Adidas green box doesn't matter what brand it is

Make sure that you group those together and then it makes it a lot easier to be able to

And then sometimes if you have buyers and specific sizes and you buy multiple sizes

Then you got a boat by number and size and then you know, there's a bunch of different ways

But just make sure you're organized because you don't want to come with somebody and say hey

I want

$8,000 for all this stuff and you're not organized and it just it's not gonna be right people want it to be smooth and clean

And just real simple Excel will be your best friend

So now that you have the list compiled everything's ready to go. The next step is take some good photos

That's what you got to do. Everybody wants to see the details of the sneaker if it's new. It's easy

but you still need to snap a shot cuz sometimes people just want to

Get that confirmation and knowing hey that she was here. Don't send me on a text for me. I want to see the photo

Most definitely not days

Because Jordans come with a lot of flaws, and a lot of people want to make sure that they're getting pairs and all flaws

So if you're gonna buy a used pair of kicks

You want to make sure that you get the front of the shoe gonna make sure you get the toe box

Some people want to see the insole to see how worn the kick is

make sure you get the sole of the kick and any

Defects with the shoe doesn't matter if it's a shoelace tip that's missing or a small scratch on the insole

You want to make sure that you get every single defect in detail?

Because the last thing you want to do is have somebody come back and say hey I didn't know about this

I want my money back. Right exactly and me I try to shoot for three to five photos if it's a use shoe

I try to be very efficient with my photos. Maybe we can show you guys a couple examples on what we would do and uh

Let's let's just show you right now

So yeah after seeing the pictures, um

that's just a real simple way on how we would like to do it just to let people get an understanding of the sneaker and

What they got to buy most definitely

So once you have everything organized once you have all your photos, you want to make sure that you contact your buyers, right?

So you organize your buyers, you know most times you organized by size first and foremost

And then you have some buyers who do want to make money

So it doesn't really matter the size right but when you're buying in bulk you want to make sure that you're getting the best

price possible

So then once you do sale you're making some money

That goes what I was saying, obviously, there's some people don't really know that

So you want to make sure that when you're contacting your buyers they know exactly what it is that they're getting sighs

What year of the shoe you might have, you know nine true-blue or you might have a oh three, right, right

I want to make sure that they know exactly what it is that they're getting

So we hope that these tips help you guys if you guys have any more questions comments or concerns

Please comment down below. You already know what's up, and don't forget to use the hashtag DNA fan

We got some more stuff coming very very soon. We're gonna be out in LA. So

Sneaker comment. We'll see you guys soon. Hey, we might be buying soon. I'm saying sooner lat what else you got?

See you in LA soon

Now that you've found the kicks it's time to okay

- We're going on tour!

Nevermind, it's canceled.

you gotta kill your blinds.

Hey everyone and welcome back to the CrankThatFrank channel,

the only channel on YouTube where you can get

family friendly alternative content

(beep) - Guys, it's happening.

I made a video a little while ago

and I asked you guys to demand your city for tour

and I'm very, very excited to announce

Eva will be coming on every single date.

(beep)

You whipped me, you whipped my hair.

- I whipped so good.

(distortion)

(both laugh)

Example one. - Oh my God.

- Of why we're together.

Ah! - Buy tickets. (both laugh)

(beep) - I'm making this a mess

and it's only like the first minute.

- So, (both laugh)

geez. (beep)

- We have to compose (mumbles)

(Frank laughs)

(mumbles)

M'kay.

- Why'd you do the crab?

(beep)

The tour is called (drum roll)

Kinda Emo. - Which is accurate.

- Which is very accurate to us and maybe to all of you.

You guys were asking,

"Frank, what is the tour gonna be about?

"Is the tour gonna be emo?"

And my answer to that is...

Kinda.

(jovial music)

(both laugh) (beep)

We've been extremely cryptic on Twitter and Instagram

for like the past week

and it's been fun to be the Walmart Twenty One Pilots

but we're very excited to announce our tour,

the dates, where you can get tickets, all of that stuff.

- All of that emo stuff.

- All of that kinda emo stuff.

(beep)

Tour starts September 22nd in Orlando, Florida.

- Oh.

Disney.

(Eva laughs) (beep)

Also, let me just add, that's three days before my birthday.

- Everyone in the crowd sing Eva Happy Birthday.

- But the emo version.

- I want everyone to cry. (beep)

The next date is Dallas, Texas on September 23rd.

(Eva claps)

We love our Texas people.

Two days before Eva's birthday.

Please sing her Happy Birthday but the kinda emo version.

Okay, now we're just gonna dive right into it

and give you guys the rest of the dates.

The next date is Washington, DC.

- Which is October sixth.

- The next date is October seventh in Boston, Massachusets

and then we're going international.

- Woo.

- October 13th in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

We're super excited. - Yes.

- To meet all you Canandi-emos.

- Canandi-egens

- Canan-emo?

(beep)

Then, October 14th, we're going to Chicago, Illinois.

Then we're going to my hometown.

- Where's that?

- Brooklyn, New York on October 20th.

- Ooh, pizza. (both laugh)

- That's where the good pizza is everyone.

The good pizza. - Yes.

- We're Italian, by the way. (beep)

Then on October 21st

we're going to Philadephia, Pennsylvania.

- Aye. (distortion)

- Stop dabbing. - No, you can't stop me.

- You stop dabbing. - You can never stop me.

- There's no dabbing allowed at the show.

- Yes, there is, dab.

- Emo dabbing. (beep)

October 27th, we're going to Phoenix, Arizona.

Like hey young blood!

Like that.

(Eva mumbles) (beep)

Then October 28th, we're going to Denver, Colorado.

Then on November third, we're going to Seattle, Washington.

All my Seattles.

- What? (both laugh)

(beep)

- I thought like sea, Seattle, like sea attle.

I don't, like sea otters. - Okay, like marp, marp, map.

- No one's gonna buy tickets. (Frank laughs)

(beep)

And then, the final show is going to be November forth!

- Ee. - in Los Angeles, California.

- It's gon' be great.

- It's gonna be a lot of fun.

Now that we explained all the dates to you guys

for way too long. - Yep.

- We're gonna break down how tickets work

and where you can buy them and everything.

So firstly, if you wanna buy a ticket,

go to fullscreenlive.com.

If you go there, you'll be directed to the homepage,

if you want a direct link to our tour,

then click the link, the first link in the description,

at the very top of the description, you can get tickets.

Every ticket comes with a meet and greet.

- Every one.

- If you come to the show, you get to meet us.

- Mm-hm.

- Every single one of you, everyone, I wanna stress this.

If you come to the show...

- You have to meet us. - You have a meet and greet.

You... - You have to--

- You have to. (beep)

You don't have to. - You don't, you have to.

- If you would like to meet us, we would love to meet you.

I love meeting you guys

and we wanted to make sure every single ticket

comes with a meet and greet.

So to break down tickets, there's three tiers.

First one, is general admission

which is the meet and greet and admission.

That's a post-show meet and greet,

a picture and an autograph.

Autographs I should say.

- Autographs.

- Eva's is much better than mine.

- It is, you'll see.

- Then there's VIP which is early entrance,

pre-show meet and greet,

and you also get a VIP laminate and a VIP poster.

There's gonna be tour exclusive merch by the way.

- That might possibly say Kinda Emo on it.

- It could. - Maybe.

- No promises, I'm just saying it could say that

and this merch you can't get anywhere else.

You have to get it on tour.

And of course that comes with the picture

and the autographs as well.

- And... - The big one.

- Last one. - With the red B emoji.

The big one.

All-access VIP.

- But what do they get?

- I just wanna say, this is for like the super yeemos.

- Like-- - Sounds like superheroes.

If you're super emo, this is the ticket package for you.

It's super limited, we're not gonna have many for each show.

If you are a hardcore yeemo,

all-access VIP.

You get, first entry into the venue.

- Number one.

- Number one.

The best spots in the venue for the show,

so you're gonna have the best seats or standing.

- Or standing. - Or barricade.

However it's set up.

- Barricade sounds more emo.

- We might open up the pit.

- You can dab in the pit.

- The dab, imagine a pit with just dabbing.

- Emo, wait-- - Wait, we're--

- A mosh pit of dabbing.

- What about a wall of dab?

- We need to stop. (beep)

- A pre-show meet and greet

and this meet and greet is like, I wouldn't even,

I'm calling it a meet and greet

but it's more like a hangout session.

Like we are gonna hang deep.

Do you wanna talk to us for a really long period of time?

Do you wanna hang out with us, do you wanna get to know us,

do you wanna ask us deep questions,

do you wanna find out the meaning of life,

then you get the all-access VIP package.

- Do you have the answer to the meaning of life?

- Find out on the Kinda Emo tour. (beep)

But no, in all seriousness guys,

we're gonna become like best friends.

- We're gonna be like this.

- We're gonna be talking for that long.

- Yeah. - It's gonna be great.

Then you get the all-access VIP laminate, a VIP poster,

picture and the autographs,

and you also get exclusive Fullscreen Live tour merch.

- Ye.

- Now that we've broken down the three ticket tiers,

why don't we explain what we're gonna be doing at the shows.

- I don't know, it's probably gonna be kinda emo.

- There you go everyone. (beep)

We wanted to do something extremely fun and also interactive

but interactive in the way

that it's voluntarily interactive.

- Yeah, we're not forcing you.

- Like we're not gonna randomly

pick someone out of the crowd, you know what I mean,

because I personally hate that.

- I'm anxiety. (laughs)

- Yeah, we'll have like, I don't know,

like a box you could put your name in or something.

But we wanna do stuff that's fun and interactive

and kinda emo. - Yes,

and I think you guys are gonna love it.

- If you're kinda emo.

- This tour is for you.

- You took the words out of my mouth.

- I know.

- Guys, it's gonna be so much fun.

I'm really excited

and I can't wait to hang out with you guys,

put on a show for you guys.

- Yeah. - That's kinda crazy to say.

- We're so musically talented,

you're gonna listen to us sing.

- There's no promises we'll be singing.

- Maybe.

- This show is G note free.

So guys, what we want from you is if you buy tickets,

they're available today by the way.

- You go do that right now.

- Go buy a ticket.

- Well, finish watching this video.

- Right now. - And then go do that.

- Or open up a new tab.

We want you to screenshot when you buy a ticket,

show us like the confirmation that you got a ticket.

- Mm-hm.

- And tweet it to us or tag us on Instagram.

- Mm-hm.

- I'll be looking through both and if you tweet us

maybe you'll get a retweet.

I'll be following people at random.

- So we're both gonna be stalking you guys

when you show us your screenshots, your proof.

- Stalking in a nice way. - In a nice way,

like in a positive way.

- Likes and retweets and all that good stuff.

I wanna see who's coming and I just, it's really fun.

- Yeah, this is our first ever tour so we're like--

- This is like years in the making, like leading up to this.

You guys know from what I said

in my tour announcement video,

I'm just so thankful for you guys

for allowing this to happen

and I feel like we've all been waiting for so long.

- Mm-hm.

- We are gonna make this the best, most fun,

family friendly show.

- Family friendly Kinda Emo show.

- Kinda Emo show there ever is

and I'm getting way too soft right now but--

- I will cry, I'm probably gonna cry on tour. (laughs)

Like why are-- - Crying is welcome.

- Why are you here?

I'm just a big emo lump. (Frank laughs)

I'm a emo potato.

- Water balloon.

Also guys, if you want to,

we were being very cryptic on the tour accounts

that you can follow on Twitter and Instagram,

they're both @KindaEmoTour. - Mm-hm.

And you could use the hashtag what, what hastag?

- Okay, so we were using hashtag KE18, (Eva laughs)

and apparently that's a flight to Korea.

- Oh yeah.

- So everyone was like,

"Oh my God, Frank and Eva are flying to Korea,"

and in my head I'm like, "No, we're going on tour."

(both laugh)

Now, use the hashtag Kinda Emo.

We're done being cryptic.

I'm never being cryptic again.

If I'm every cryptic, take a screenshot of this video

right now, print it out, crumple it up

and throw it at my face.

I'm never being cryptic again, I missed so much this week.

Again guys, we're very, very excited

and I can't wait to meet all of you.

- Every single-- - 100% of you.

- One. - On tour, tour.

- Tour?

- A real actual tour.

Also a question I got asked was,

"Is this tour unironically going to be family friendly?"

And the answer is yes.

So if there's any parents watching

and you want to bring your child to the show,

there will be no swearing or anything like dirty

or anything like that, it'll be 100% family friendly.

Don't worry, I can't bleep myself live.

I will not say one single swear word, I promise.

Alright guys, that's gonna do it for today's video.

I'm very sorry that we were very cryptic on you guys

and I didn't upload this week but

we wanted to build some excitement

and I was laughing through my screen.

- We both were.

- I was looking around and I was like,

"Okay, now I know what those Pilot boys feel like."

But anyway guys, we're so excited, can't wait to see you,

we love you very much and I will see you in the next video.

You can also check out Eva's video that she posted today

which is tour makeup as you can see.

Our color scheme is kind of like red and black.

- Hence why I'm not wearing all black.

- But where whatever you want.

Just make it emo.

Alright guys, I'll see you in the next video.

You've just been spanked

by CrankThatFrank, woo!

Stay wickedly frosty and Kinda Emo!

(both screech)

REE!

Swat, swat, swat, swat, swat, swat, swat, swat, swat, swat,

Awesome Remakes You Didn't Know Were Happening - Duration: 4:04.

Hollywood loves remakes and reboots.

Returning to time-tested franchises is irresistible to big studios that know nostalgia is a hell

of a drug, and that there's plenty of new money to be made when reviving an old cash

cow.

There are so many remakes in the works, in fact, that some might have slipped past your

radar.

Here are a few awesome remakes you probably didn't know were happening.

Child's Play

Remakes are nothing new in the horror genre.

And now it looks like a certain Good Guy doll will terrorize a new generation of moviegoers.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, MGM is "fast-tracking" a Child's Play remake with

Norwegian director Lars Klevberg, produced by the same guys who produced the 2017 It

remake.

There's no word yet on who will star, but as for the plot, Collider reports that the

new Child's Play will take a page from the Stranger Things playbook, as it will involve

a group of kids working together to fight the demonic doll.

But things might get a bit messy in the Child's Play universe.

Universal Studios still intends to produce a Chucky TV series and more sequels as part

of the original Child's Play franchise, all starring Brad Dourif, the guy who's voiced

the wisecracking killer since 1988.

"No more Mr. Good Guy!"

The Witches

According to Variety, Forrest Gump and Back to the Future director Robert Zemeckis is

remaking 1990's The Witches, a freaky film based one of Roald Dahl's creepiest novels.

The plot involves a young boy on vacation who discovers a coven of witches that plans

on turning England's children into mice.

The original starred Anjelica Huston as the villainous Grand High Witch, with a wonderfully

over-the-top German accent.

The new version doesn't have a cast or a director as of the making of this video, but it will

reportedly be more faithful to Dahl's novel.

Guillermo del Toro was supposed to cast his own spell on the remake, but now he's only

co-producing, alongside Gravity director Alfonso Cuaron.

With four Oscars and dozens of other awards between the two of them, that's a lot of talent

behind the scenes, which gives us high hopes for this remake.

The Sword in the Stone

Continuing their streak of producing live-action remakes of their classic animated films, Disney

is reportedly working on a new version of 1963's The Sword in the Stone.

This whimsical cartoon told the familiar story of a young King Arthur training under the

magical and musical tutelage of the wise old wizard Merlin.

"Hail King Arthur!

Hail King Arthur!"

The first film was a lighthearted romp that involved enchanted dishes, squirrel romance,

and a shapeshifting wizard battle.

The remake, however, might be a tad darker.

It's being directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, the guy behind 28 Weeks Later, and the screenplay

will be written by Bryan Cogman, who's written multiple episodes of Game of Thrones.

So when the movie makes its premiere on Disney's upcoming streaming service, expect something

a bit more grown-up than the original.

Uptown Saturday Night

Released in 1974, the original Uptown Saturday Night features a big-name cast, including

Sidney Poitier, Richard Pryor, Harry Belafonte and Bill Cosby.

The plot involves two buddies who get held up after visiting a nightclub, and during

the robbery, they lose a lottery ticket worth $50,000.

Determined to get the ticket back, the duo start searching for the crooks who made off

with their fortune.

Anchorman director Adam McKay was initially supposed to direct the upcoming remake, according

to the Hollywood Reporter, and the lead roles were meant for Will Smith and Denzel Washington.

Sadly, that never panned out, but now Kevin Hart is tackling the project.

There's no word yet on who will star opposite him, but we do know the screenplay will be

written by Kenya Barris, the creator of ABC's Black-ish.

Point Blank

Frank Grillo and Anthony Mackie have played bitter enemies in the Captain America franchise,

trading put-downs and punches as Crossbones and Falcon, respectively.

Now the two are going to butt heads again in a remake of Point Blank, a 2010 French

action flick which boasts an impressive 91 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.

According to Collider, Mackie will play a nurse whose pregnant wife gets kidnapped by

the brother of a hospitalized murder suspect who wants to make a trade.

As you can probably guess, Grillo plays the murder suspect, and based off his antagonistic

chemistry with Mackie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we're pretty sure Point Blank will

be one intense thriller when it premieres on Netflix.

BEGINNING A YOUTUBE CHANNEL IN 2018 (BEGINNERS) - Duration: 8:00.

You want to make a YouTube channel? Well I have a few tips to tell you before you

make that first video right now. Hello creator what's going on welcome back to

another video. If you're new here and you need someone to help aid and assist you

with growing your YouTube channel and editing then consider subscribing to the

channel right here and make sure to hit that notification bell to know exactly

when I upload a new video. Now beginning your YouTube channel may be a little

hard you might not know what exactly what you need to do that's why I'm here

to tell you a couple of things it's get you started and help you like know what

you have to do before you make that very first video. Now let's jump in.

Number one: pick a niche. If you don't know what a niche is or a niche depending on your

preference that's what you do on your channel. Gaming could be your niche, music

it to be your niche, beauty could be your niche, and vlogs could be your niche it's

whatever that what you do in your channel just you have to pick one of

those things but obviously being as creative as possible. Anything that you

enjoy doing could be your niche or your niche so make sure to be very specific

on what you do. You have to make sure the whole audience could be coming to

everything like all videos instead of like specific ones. Like if you're doing

a variety channel that's not good because specific people come for

specific thing. This is my very first video but on my other channel SweetAnd

SpicyGirl that was a very variety type channel. It's not growing as faster as it

should is if I had a niche and I would have began with that then it would have

been a consistent growth. Next after you pick your niche write down 100 video

ideas. That may sound like a lot but when I was picking the niche of what I wanted

this channel to be I wrote down 100 video ideas and I wrote it down in this

book. Me doing that showed me two things if I could write down 100 video ideas

then I know that I can have 100 video ideas good to go for the future and I

know if I can write down 100 video ideas and I know I can write down 200 video

ideas I know I can write down 300 video ideas so I know that me writing 100 won't make

me like not loose like content ideas or not have any video ideas for the future

so I know that this channel or your channel could be a consistent thing. Once

you found the niche and you found out like okay

100 video ideas I think I got this I think this is actually really good I

think this is a good idea good premise then name it. This may take a while

longer because you're like this is like the channel name this is it this is like

you can't change it you can but like if you made like over is like 300 videos

and then like I'm gonna change the name like mmm it's hard to just go back on it

so try to make this like it. Make sure it's related to your niche so you'll

know exactly like okay people will know this is what you do. My name for this

channel is called Aid Creators and I help assist and aid creators. The idea

behind that can make people know that this is what your channel is about or

like a quick thing about okay I think I know what this channel is about let me

go to the channel just to make sure but now they can not kind of know what you

do on the channel with your channel name; and make sure it's creative. There's a

website that you can see if your name is taken on social medias or websites it's

called Namechk.com I'll put it in the description so you guys can check it

out so if you have a name and you want to see if it's used on YouTube use it on

Twitter if it's a .com already or .net or whatever then you can check on there to

see if it's like okay to use like so you'll know you're the only blah blah

blah then you can find out their own Namechk.com go ahead and it's in the

description you'll be good to go. After you figured out your niche your 100

videos and you named it then figure out what gear do you need. I'm not saying

that you have to buy this this doesn't mean you have to buy your gear you have

gear. Most likely you guys have a phone so if you have a phone then you have a

camera and you have a camera than you can make youtube videos!

You have the mic inside of your camera so you'll be good to go that way as well;

and if you have a camera then you can use that as well. Just use what you have.

Lighting is also good to natural light outside you guys can go and do that and

it'll be good as well so only use what you need and then basically that's the

gear that you'll need unless you really want to upgrade which don't do that now

that's since you're only getting your channel but like later on if you want to

upgrade a few things you can. Once you got that figured out make sure that you

have a couple editing software's. Not editing your videos and not editing your

thumbnails is not gonna cut it. Find free editing software's for your videos or

your thumbnails on your phone or if you don't want to you want a little bit

better things you can find free things on your computer PC Mac there's

different free things and do it that way. It's also whatever works for you. For

editing software's on your phone I recommend Kinemster it's on Android

and iOS phones and also for another editing app for iOS users there's one

called iMovie which works great for beginners and you can look up tutorials

on how to use it all throughout YouTube. Thumbnail editing

apps on your phones could be Adobe Photoshop Express and Snapseed I really

recommend Snapseed. PC free editing software's could be Shotcut or Light

Work. Thumbnail free PC computer softwares are GIMP, PicMonkey, or Canva so

a couple of those work as well. There are hundreds of videos online for all of

those things that I just mentioned and I'll put links down below for all the

things that I just mentioned if it's an app or if it's on the computer so

everything will be down below if you guys want to download it or look it up

or anything like that old in the description. Something else that I feel

like I need to mention that's really cool that he did there's another YouTube

creator named Nick Nimmin. He teaches people how to make youtube videos and

how to grow their channel he really digs into it.

Well back in 2016 he created something called the YouTube Starter Kit. Inside is

an end screen if you don't know what that is it's like at the end of the

video promoting other videos on channel, channel art or channel banner which is

like on your channel page and it's at the top it's like the design, a branding

watermark which is right here kind of like that but he has it like as a

subscribe button it's kind of really cool, and the Big Book of YouTube

Resources. It's all free and downloadable. New YouTubers can get this when they're

beginning their YouTube channel in the description down there I'll put a link

to his YouTube channel where he talks about all of the things in his YouTube

Starter Kit and his download will be inside of that video as well.

Creators why don't you comment down below why do you want to start a channel?

and if you're interested in videos like this subscribe to the channel right

there and if you haven't yet checked out any of my other videos

the most recent upload will be at the top right there and if you also want to

see a video that's perfect and just for you then click on the video at the

bottom right there. I'm Ra'liyah Blythe and I help assist and aid creators see

you next time

GTA V Online - Should you - Buy a Nightclub - Duration: 1:55.

[music]

Should you buy a Nightclub.

If you just have the money to buy one but you don't have anything else like CEO crates,

bunker, biker, or hanger then you really shouldn't buy one since the max you can make from this

without any other business already is 10,000 per GTA day or 45 real-time minutes.

If you are wondering which business to get, there will be a link in the description to

a google sheet which is almost up to date with the hourly earnings for each type of

business.

If you don't own CEO crates, hanger, bunker, and a biker business then you too are better

off buying other businesses instead.

If you own everything and just have enough to buy a Nightclub, you already know your

answer.

Nope.

However, if you own everything and have millions to spend then yes Nightclub might be worth

it.

I haven't personally gotten a full floor or floors of product yet and haven't got the

best businesses selected.

For that, you will have to wait for the grinders like Theprofessional.

If you don't care about that and just want to sell product you will need to know that

each time you sell, Tony will take a small percentage to keep the IRS happy.

The only example that I have is when I sold 150,000; Tony took around 6000.

You might say that this video is taking to long and just get to the damn point!

Fine.

You can have technicians run around to get supplies for your existing businesses and

you can run those businesses separately like how you use to so in theory you can earn 2x

the amount of money in the same time frame.

That is if the technicians work at the same pace because Rockstar, well is Rockstar.

So, in conclusion, you should buy the nightclub if you have millions to spend and if you are

anyone else the answer is no.

If you like the video, like it, dislike if you dislike, and subscribe if you want.

My name been Sky and I hope to catch you in the next video.

Bye!!!!!!!!

Square CLOUD, Failure REBRANDED & MORE?! - Industry Developments - Duration: 7:06.

From Blacknut jumping in with Square to Motion Twin flipping the script, we have the latest

headlines from across the game industry.

so let's load 'em up and dive right in!

Microsoft might be doubling down on streaming.

According to a report by Thurrott, the company is looking to hit the next console generation

with two pieces of hardware dubbed Scarlett.

This alleged family of devices would feature a traditional system, as we've been accustomed

to seeing from the company, as well as a cheaper, less powerful stream machine referred to as

the Scarlett Cloud.

In order to handle latency issues that have been a burden on previous feeds, they claim

that Microsoft has developed a technique that'd allow the Scarlett Cloud to handle controller

input, image processing and collision detection locally.

The formation of a cloud gaming division isn't news, as the company made the announcement

a little while back, and Xbox Head Phil Spencer had confirmed a streaming service was in the

works at this year's E3, but this report sheds some light on what we might see in the

future.

If the report can be believed, look forward to having a Scarlett Cloud in your living

room come twenty-twenty!

Square Enix is getting into streaming, too!

The company has revealed a partnership with Blacknut that'll see titles like Lara Croft

Go, Hitman Go, and Deus Ex Go land on their streaming service.

Blacknut allows players to access a catalogue of games they can play through under a monthly

subscription, and supports various devices like Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, PC and Mac

with Linux on the horizon.

Square's thrilled about the addition of their mobile titles in Blacknut's arsenal.

Montreal Studio Head Patrick shared a few words about the move, stating that the company

absolutely supports innovative and accessible ways to offer games to a wider audience, and

expressing excitement about including premium games in the Blacknut catalog.

If the service doesn't sound familiar, though, don't feel bad.

Blacknut is only available in the UK, Germany and France right now, but the service is expected

to make the leap over to North America and the rest of Europe in the near future.

Now might be a good time to see if you can join their lineup of software and investigate

whether or not it's a solid revenue source going forward!

Nintendo of America is looking for a fight.

The company has filed a lawsuit against the operator of two notable console ROM sites:

LoveROMs.com and LoveRETRO.co.

Apparently both of the targets are managed by one Jacob Mathias and play host to thousands

of emulated games that can be downloaded for free.

Nintendo's titles are featured in their most popular sections, and according to the

company's lawsuit, they've been downloaded more than sixty-million times from LoveROMs

alone.

Nintendo of America is seeking damages up to a $150,000 for each of its copyrighted

works, and an additional two million for each infringement of its trademarks.

They aren't just looking for compensation, though.

Nintendo is also keen on seeing the websites dismantled.

At this time, LoveRETRO has been taken offline, and all of Nintendo's titles have been removed

from LoveROM, so it looks like the company's efforts aren't in vein.

This is certainly a win for the industry, so let's hope this sets a precedent for

ROM takedowns ahead!

Motion Twin is all about establishing parallels.

The company behind Dead Cells has recently shared some information about its internal

structure and revealed a strong push for workplace equality.

Every employee on payroll is compensated the same regardless of position, and everyone

is given equal influence over projects and their directions.

The studio describes itself as an "anarcho-syndical workers cooperative" that aims to challenge

the tired corporate structures of yesterday: which includes exploitative practices that

have become something of industry norms.

This sort of setup works for a team of their size, consisting of eleven employees, so while

it might not catch on with AAA studios as business stands today, it's something small

studios with healthy budgets could consider if they want to establish equality and diminish

hierarchy at their offices.

The high seas are safer for DRM this week!

Denuvo has taken legal action against known pirate and cracker Voksi, who's believed

to be responsible for hacking several games using Denuvo's Anti-Tamper software, and

the company has declared victory as their target has been arrested by the Bulgarian

Cybercrime Unit.

Denuvo's parent company claims to have tackled an investigation of their own, passing on

details to the police to raid and seize all equipment likely used in Voksi's shenanigans.

They're pleased with the performance of the police, noting that their swift action

demonstrates the power of collaboration between law enforcement and technology providers.

Voksi has a slightly different account of the proceedings, saying that the police came

to his place and nabbed his equipment, and after he went in to explain himself to the

authorities, he reached out to Denuvo in a bid to negotiate a peaceful resolution.

He also put out a call to action for his fellow hackers, asking them to continue his fight

against DRM and claiming that bloated software in games shouldn't be allowed.

Depending on your stance regarding DRM, this case can be seen as a win or a loss.

If you're a company using DRM, though, you should consider making it as unintrusive to

the player experience as possible: folks like Voksi won't be as motivated to take you

down if you're not bogging down their game's performance!

The Escapist is taking a pledge against politics!

Enthusiast Gaming has announced that it's acquired the Escapist Magazine, and plans

to relaunch the publication under its former editor-in-chief Russ Pitts.

Russ took to Medium to share what this news means moving forward, and stated that the

website and its content wouldn't be the same as before.

In particular, he mentioned that politics would be left at the door.

He noted that while everyone has a political perspective and suppressing them would be

unnatural, no one will be taking a stand to try convincing readers that their outlooks

are wrong.

Their focus will be on what's fun.

After facing backlash for their sensible pledge, Russ shared a statement confirming that their

stance by no means implies that they'll be apolitical.

They intend to cover topics with political connections, but will be aiming to do it in

a way that doesn't ignite any culture wars.

They admit it'll be a fine needle to thread, but they're going to try not to let it bog

down the conversation around their content.

MercurySteam isn't letting failure hold them down!

After the unsuccessful run of their premium, episodic title Raiders of the Broken Planet,

the company is looking to release a new game from its ashes called Spacelords.

The company claims their vision with this second attempt is to craft something that

can enjoyed by millions of users for years to come, and they believe removing the paywall

and releasing a free-to-play multiplayer experience is what their community wants.

For players who've already bought into the previous game's chapters at $9.99 a piece,

they'll be receiving exclusive gear for the game that won't be available to anyone

else, and they plan to reveal the details behind how they'll be approaching this in

the coming days.

While it's never great to see a company's project fall flat, developers should keep

an eye on this project and take notes.

If your next game is a failure, you might not have to start from scratch to try again:

a bit of repurposing could go a long way!

EA is looking into Crossplay!

During the company's first quarter earnings call, their executives were hit with questions

comparing their upcoming online initiatives to Fortnite.

VP of Investor Relations Chris fielded a lot of them, and shared the company's perspective

on the future of crossplay and their dabbling in the battle royale genre.

They're drawing inspiration from the success of Fortnite when it comes to the former, particularly

from its PC to mobile relationship bringing different kinds of players together, and that

they're interested in exploring crossplay in the near future.

And while he claims Battlefield V will just be treating battle royale as a mode within

the main game, the company is experimenting with a free-to-play standalone game that could

fit the bill down the road.

While it's cool that the big businesses are exploring these options, you should be

giving them some thought, too.

With enough blood, sweat and green, you're next game could the latest and greatest crossplay

battle royale!

And that covers this week's lineup, ladies and gentlemen.

Was there anything you found particularly insightful?

Did we miss something you think should've been covered?

Let us know in the comments below and be sure to tell us if you enjoyed this final newsworthy

breakdown!
